I have been in touch with Brent over the past couple months keeping an eye on lease prices for a 2016 Flex when he called me to give me a heads up on a used Flex that had been turned in with very low mileage. We are now proud owners of that Flex and are very thankful for the call that lead us to the vehicle.

My experience at Blackwell Ford unfortunately was the worst experience I've ever had at a dealer. I brought my 2012 Ford Focus in to be looked at for the repair I've already had done (due to recall) back in 2014. I knew this was the same issue since my vehicle already had this problem before. I explained this to the service advisor Brendan Miller stating I've had this problem in the past, he looked it up and said "yes I see you've had this repair done at 97,000 miles in 2014. I will see if this is something that can be covered since you're now at 124K miles". Never stated that there would be a diagnostic fee - which I didn't believe there would be one since I came in WITH the diagnosis of the vehicle. When I received the call back from Brendan, of course this was something that is now no longer covered due to my mileage. How can that be since I have already had this repaired once due to recall and now the SAME problem is happening again. No answer, other than this will be a $1530 repair and if I do not repair my vehicle it will ruin the transmission. I have had a previous experience with Lakeview Ford in Battle Creek and it was marvelous. I will never go to Blackwell Ford EVER again, and unfortunately will never purchase another Ford car due to Ford not owning up to their faulty mechanics and taking care of their customer base.

I had bought a 2010 fusion new. I have been loyal to Blackwell ford as their service is professional and efficient. I have dealt with Andrew in the service department several times He is very thorough on checking the service records regarding my car. As another service department representative took over while Andrew was at lunch, I was told of fuel maintenance should be done. Not realizing I had in fact had it done last October I approved the service. Andrew had gotten back from lunch and resumed responsibility of seeing my cars work being completed. Realizing the fuel service was not necessary he waived the 135.00 charge. Andrew needs to be commended for his conscientiousness. He is a good reason for my repeat business !!!!!! Many thanks !!

My Check Engine light came on and from the "stumbling" feeling of the engine as I was driving to Blackwell, I wondered if I would make it to dealership. Of course, this was December 21st and I was to leave on a driving trip on December 24th. This was a very busy time for the Service department and I did not even know if my Escape would be looked at on that day. I did make it to Blackwell and they not only looked for the problem but discovered a vacuum leak and fixed so I was able to drive it home that very afternoon. Everyone so kind and professional and eager to get the car restored to it's optimum performance. My family and I are very grateful for their excellent and immediate service. The staff wished us Happy Holidays and safe travels and that is what we had. Our thanks to Chelsea and all the Service Staff at Blackwell Ford.

Next morning at 9AM, Andy has all the paper work ready to go in a few minutes and a signature from me. I have a 2014 Fusion. I came in for an oil change and tire rotation; it took 1.5 hours. I think appointment times would be nice even though they took my car in right away when I got there. I didn't like the fact that my front seat was moved all the way forward and my jacket that was on the back seat was crammed under my front seat. What was going on back there? The staff was helpful but not friendly.

It was found out there was an over abundant use of the product Shine in the prep stage and it temporarily drove an overpowering scent into the cabin. I have a 2010 Fusion that I took in for oil change. While there they noticed that my battery failed the test. Andy called me to let me know and when I told him that it was the second battery in that car and was only 2 or 3 years old, he said they would charge it and do the test again. It failed and since I got it there it was under warranty and was replaced. I forgot to ask why this was happening. I don't want to have this problem every 2 or 3 years.

I brought in my 2014 Escape because I thought the windshield washer fluid tank/hose was leaking...and it was. An inspection showed a "critter" had chewed through the supply hose. The hose was replaced and while in the shop the recall on my fuel pump was also taken care of. Service was great, everyone who worked with me was friendly and helpful. This is a great place to bring my vehicle for service and repair!

Whey made the whole process very easy and seamless. My salesperson Brian provided me information both over the phone and through email. We set an appointment for Saturday he had the Expolrer ready for a test drive - we finalized financing questions and trade details and he got the car prep and we were on our way! I went into the fast lane service for an oil change and to have the tires rotated. I left the car to run some other errands and it was ready in about an hour and a-half. Notably that, after we looked at all of the discounts, it didn't cost a penny. The service manage was very friendly and helpful in identifying the discounts.This was the second visit for an oil change of my 2014 Escape.

I was in an accident and had my car towed to Blackwell. All the repairs were done and my car looks like new. My only dislike was that they told me it would probably take a couple weeks and I said ok. I kind of expected to hear something and never did. On the 14th day I called and then was told it wouldn't be done till Monday. Ok. On Monday I had to call two times until I was assured it would be done. I was renting a car and had to coordinate return and pick up before 6 pm. Just a little more communication would have been appreciated.

My car apt. was for a recall, which took almost 3 months to get. When I made my apt. I requested a loaner because it was gonna take less than half a day to get done. I was told if I brought my car in before 5:30 the eve before I would be guaranteed a rental. When I took my car in the eve before they asked me then if I wanted to wait and have the work done now, which would take about an hour. I told them I couldn't wait, but then was told the rentals were off site and someone would be there to pick me up and take me to the rental place. This all took time and was very inconvenient. By the time I got the car, made a quick stop on my way home, they called within an hour and said my car was ready. Needless to say I did not go pick it up til the next day. Had to return the car to the rental place, then get a ride to the dealership, after taking someone else to another place first. Very very inconvenient.

We took my car in for a recall which involved the reflashing of the transmission software. I have had this done before and it took about 1.5 hours. This time my car was there all day and they never called me. I called them early afternoon and they said they hadn't started on it because their Internet was down. I called 2 hours later and they said the same thing. Before 5:00 I called again and no one answered. We finally went to get my car. They wanted to keep it another day, but I said I couldn't because we were leaving town. I made another appointment to finally do the reflashing. I waited there this time. They finished I'm an hour. I was driving out of their lot and the transmission was so jerky I almost turned around. I went home and let my husband, who used to work in transmission design, test drive the car. He said it had many transmission issues, including rolling backwards at a stop with a slope. That is a huge safety issue! We took it back to Bkackwell and they listened to what we described and said it would be 2 + months until they could do the work on it. We called another dealer Bill Brown and they will do the work in 2 1/2 weeks and give us a loaner. We will never ever go back to Blackwell Ford. I would have given them a zero if I could have.

Hi Jim,I had a problem in the climate control area! Talked with Andy and he set-up an appointment for Friday AM. As always, your Service Area is on TOP of things right from the get go. I waited for the repair, since Andy and I figured it was a motor that was not opening and closing the doors in that heating and cooling area. It was a motor to replace and I was all done with the paper work just after 10:30AM. About what we expected. One thing, I don't really care at all for your rental car set-up from Enterprise. I will either catch a ride home or else wait it out, which I did this time! Your Service Area gets another A+ as far as I am concerned! KUDO'S for all the folks involved in my repair! I had my car serviced for several recalls and an underbody rattle noise on September 28, 2015. Arranging the shuttle service was time consuming and have very limited hours - I was required to locate another ride to pick up the vehicle upon completion. Worse, when I picked up the vehicle the rear tail light was not functional. This was NOT an issue when I dropped off the vehicle. When I called to complain, the service agent (I believe her first name was Jennifer) was rude and stated the light was out when the car was dropped off. They also stated it was listed on the technician report. It was, but this was never mentioned it when confirming the service repair cost. Clearly the damage was done during repair.They damaged the vehicle and did not take responsibility. Do not trust this service group!

My Escape was recalled at the same time as it was due for an oil change. I called and made an appointment to take care of both items on the following Friday. I arrived at 1:50pm, checked in with Melissa and returned home. I received a call to pick it up before 4:00pm. When I arrived at Blackwell's, Andy greeted me and headed me to the office where I picked up paperwork and keys. Jennifer met me in service area, took keys to bring around car (actually, it had already been brought around to front) and I headed home. Everyone was courteous and helpful. Vehicle had what appeared to be a battery problem. Battery tested fine so I had the scheduled oil change (The Works) done. Everything went smoothly, I was informed that by the 60,000 mile check I'd probably need brake work done (cost of that posted), that the battery likely would go another 1-2 years before needing to be replaced. Now THAT is what I call service that you can tell friends and family about! And I did -- that very same day. I would recommend the dealer to anyone.

The oil change on my C-Max was done fine and the car came back clean and ready to go. My only complaint is that they operate on a first com/first served basis, no appointments. If I had an appointment, I could come in and have my car serviced right away. That might have saved about an hour of my time. When I get my Camry serviced at the Toyota dealership, I have an appointed time.

We will not return to Blackwell Ford for any type of service. A few years ago, I took my car in for an oil change. I sat for over 3 hours waiting for the oil change. The service manager apologized and said the dealership was in the process of opening a quick lane so that this type of thing did not happen. He credited a free oil change to a Ford advantage card. I finally decided to give them another try, so today I took the car in to the quick lane for an oil change and transmission flush and fill. I was told it would take one and a half to two hours. Based on my experience last time, I went home to wait. Five hours later when I called to see if the car was ready, I was told that it had not even been taken back for the transmission flush and fill, so they would need at least another hour or two. After another phone call to the manager, I was told it was being taken in at that time. Twenty minutes later, I received a call to say that the reason the transmission wasn't taken care of was because I needed new brakes and that was a higher priority, so they were waiting to hear if I wanted to spend the money on that. I had heard nothing of a brake problem until I started calling them to inquire about the work being done. I was also told that the free oil change that was credited to me was no longer valid because I waited too long to try to redeem it. At the end of the day, this dealership had my car for six hours for a high priced oil change.

I was provided ample information, which is paramount to setting appropriate expectations. My car was ready a day before expected, I was provided a necessary 'loaner' (which is the first time I've ever needed to), I was alerted to a concern with my tires (as part of the 'whole car' check, NOT the reason my car was in service) which I'd not been aware of. My car (2012 Focus) was in for its 2nd clutch assembly replacement - which could EASILY have me transferring my loyalties - but I remain a Focus fan(atic), and know that I'll be taken care of.

Software upgrade was expensive and solved very little. It was for the transmission which is not under warranty after 60000 miles, to my surprise. Have always found dealership service expensive and time consuming. Always requiring an entire day. I had been searching for a USED Explorer for several weeks - debating whether I needed a different car before heading west for a few months. I purchased on Lease a 2015 Ford Escape. The experience that Blackwell Ford and Brian was as painless simple process. Everything from start to finish was facilitated online and didn't require me to have to visit the dealership prior to purchase. We we confirmed all information via email and the deal was ready, we simply arrived at the dealership at our convenience on a Saturday. We were warmly greeting at the door by the receptionist and then shortly after Brian escorted us to his desk and also to the see our new vehicle. Brian was a great guy and made us feel most comfortable, offering us drinks. Again the whole process was so simple and easy and I want to commend Brian on the outstanding job. I would definitely refer others to Brian and Blackwell Ford and I will more than likely return when my lease is complete to renew it. I also will return when ready to co-sign for my son as well.

I had a major concern about an issue with my trunk. The source of the issue was at the same point as a tail lights issue I had over a year ago. The difference between the two was another set of wires that had spliced. The tail light issue was resolved be fixing the other wires that spliced. The fix was to replace two devices and the wiring. After some discussion with Chelsey and one of the mechanics, the problem could be that I use my trunk several times a day and that puts stress on the wiring. Since should not happen and it just came down to poor design. My concern is that this will happen again in a year. Chelsey and I discussed options for me to take if this does occur again. I was happy with the option discussed. I still have to get the other part replaced, but I feel better that I will have options if his occurs again. I'd like to thank Chelsey for her patience with me as we navigated through his issue. She was great.

I was pleased with the Service Adviser and the work that was done. Not happy that I had a gasoline smell all week end when I used the car. By the time I returned the car, the smell was gone. I think if fuel system tests are done the owner needs to be told there could be a smell and / or the system needs to be cleaned so the smell is gone. Your people did do very well and worked with very well after the fact. I'm in Florida now and I drove the car down here.

Good, fast, and friendly service. My sales rep was very nice and helpful, and answered all my questions. Very good garage and car repair services. Services for recall parts was done very efficiently and with great quality. I would recommend this dealership to friends, family, and coworkers, for good service, inventory, and a friendly sales team. The one girl, blond hair girl, at the service desk (where you go to pay for repair services at the shop) was nice, but a little to gruff. She wasn't really engaging with me as the customer. She's okay, but offers real no value for the dealership. I would train her to get better at her people and customer skills, to enhance my future experiences at the repair shop.

Oil change went faster than expected.Hood latch repair done quickly once part came in.Issue not related to oil change or hood latch repair:During recent snow storm, had great difficulty with car traction. Found out later that traction control was on. Was not familiar with it. could not find how to turn it off in ops manual. Thank goodness for Google. Turns out the procedure requires driver assist with a series of OKs to get to turn off. Will not buy another Fusion or any other car that does not have a button to turn it off. Very stressful during snow storm.

I recently went to Blackwell Ford Quick Lane Service Center to have oil/filter change and tires rotated ( the works ) on my Mothers 2007 Ford Focus and as usual I got the great service I always get when I go there. The service technicians alerted me to problems that needed to be addressed. ( front breaks,rotors and pads ) The price was right and a job well done. I am the proud owner of a new 2015 Ford Fusion. My experience at Blackwell Ford was delightful, and working with Steve Robin was the highlight. He was extremely professional, outgoing and went above and beyond my expectations. In fact, Steve even helped me get my old car back home by following me in my new car the day I picked it up. My Fusion is great; and at just 2 weeks old, I continue to learn new features in it every day. Took my car in for oil change. Apparently it wasn't marked that I was waiting for it (?) I'm a patient person and waited almost 2 hours, then inquired if I'd been forgotten. They didn't have "hard copy" I waited another 20 minutes, then had to walk around the lot with my key fob to find my car. I was surprised at this event because the service here has always been superior. A little annoyed, until I saw that they had washed my car. Hopefully this was just a glitch.

I brought my 2007 focus in, because I thought it was running rough and occassionally took more than two cranks to start. The mechanic, couldn't duplicate the starting problem, and he also said the Focus was running better than normal. So, nothing was done on my car.

Chelsea was my main point of contact and she was always very nice and professional. I did have to bring the car back a second time because the problem was not resolved. But it seemed to be a difficult diagnosis, and I feel the issue has since been resolved.

I recently came in for a routine service appt for my Edge. That service was excellent but that is not why I am making my comment to you. After my appointment in service, I stopped by the Body Shop to ask a question about the rear panel on the back of my Edge (which had recently come loose due to my driver's error). I spoke with an employee named Tony who went out of his way to not only install the panel, glue it, tape it, and touch up the paint. I was more than just impressed with this mannerly, considerate gentlemen. As a matter of fact, I told Jim Whyte, Sls. Mgr. that I would buy/lease another vehicle from your dealership just because of Tony. It was not that it was a large complicated job BUT the attitude and willingness of Tony was such a pleasant surprise. Hopefully you will show this comment to the owner as he should know about this employee. By the way, I will be telling this story to many of my friends.

I have a 2015 XLT Explorer. I tried 6 times on 6 different days to come in for a quick"" oil change 5 times I would have to wait over a hour or more to be next. I have never had to wait more than 30 minutes at other dealerships. When I did get it done I had great service from the staff.

I have been a Honda owner for many years and made the switch after having the pleasure of riding in a Ford Escape. when my Honda CR-V lease was up, I headed to Blackwell Ford and met with Brian Robertson. I test drove several different vehicles and ended up leasing the Escape. The incentives were great and I now have a vehcile with more "bells and whistles" than my CR-V had for $85 a month less! Andrea in financing was wonderful to work with - very smart and very friendly as well. I have since referred 2 others to Brian at Blackwell Ford and will continue to do so in the future. Ford should be proud of this dealership!

I was exceedingly happy with the new hours, which allowed me to come in on Saturday, and with the receptionist who left me a very useful and informative message. However at the Quick Lane I didn't feel very welcomed, my eyes weren't met, and the maintenance I was paying for wasn't really explained to me. It took a while longer than they predicted, I think a half hour longer, which is not really a big deal; the price was great. However, I had asked about my tires, as one had been losing air. But when I got my car back, the man I paid told me my tire pressure warning light was on because my tires were low. No, really? It may have been a miscommunication, but it was insulting.

Had a whine and knock in my transmission. Quick lane guys said it might me an issue. Went to schedule service appt. was told I'd have to wait till January. Not the solution you want to hear on a 2 year old truck. Fortunately I decided to follow up and Melissa (it think was her name) said I could get in on a Friday in a week. Chelsea was fantastic with her service and helped retain my faith in Ford. Trucks been running fine so far since repair.

Oil change and tire rotation was done in a timely manner. Front Brake repair was completed the following day, again in a timely fashion. Heat shield rattle was also repaired. All works great! No more rattle underneath and the brakes are very smooth with no chatter or pull to either side.Very satisfied.

Growing up in Plymouth with a parent that works for Ford Motor Company it should come as no surprise my first vehicle (2003 Ford Focus) was purchased from Blackwell Ford. Though my first car may have been purchased from Blackwell based on convenience, our family continues to return because of the service always provided. Since 2003 every vehicle we have purchased has been from Blackwell including my first vehicle purchase (and first vehicle purchase as a Ford employee), a 2015 Ford Escape. I came shopping with my father to help provide me experience and advice however with Jims help I was put at ease just being at Blackwell. We have always encouraged friends and family to buy/lease through Blackwell and I will continue to do that now with my own personal experience.

I was surprised by the price of the Quick Lane service for a 30,000 mile checkup. Very affordable! I greatly appreciated the availability on a Saturday, otherwise I would have had to make all kinds of cumbersome arrangements. Anyhoo, I think the Quick Lane is new, which may account for this: the service was good, but not terribly friendly. I would have liked to have felt more welcomed, have my eyes met, etc. But really that's nothing to complain about, and I was happy with the experience!

When I had my Escape serviced, I had asked for an estimate on repairing the scrape in the paint. I told the service rep that I wasn't interested in having it done then, but wanted an estimate so I could bring it back later. He said that he'll had the estimate done. When I picked up the vehicle later that day, there was no estimate on the bill.

Went in with a silly problem, the low tire pressure light went on. Since I went in a month earlier for an oil change I thought the tire pressure should be fine, I thought I had a nail or something in a tire. They took my car in within ten minutes, checked all four tires and found out the pressure on all four tires was down due to the cold weather. They filled the tires and didn't charge me. Great service, thanks!

I have an Escape that I lease from Blackwell Ford - Brent Dix is my Sales Consultant. I was scheduled for a recall but I was running late because of another appointment. I didn't think I would get my car back on Tuesday because they were busy and I brought it in later than my scheduled time. My service representative told me they would try to have it done by about 5 pm. I was very pleased when I received a call at 4 and my vehicle repair was complete. The staff at Blackwell has always been extremely professional. I had the opportunity to speak with Jennifer a couple days later regarding follow-up on my Escape. She told me about her promotion. I have been working with Jennifer, Andy, and another man at the service desk with grey hair for years and they are excellent representatives. Your office staff is very courteous and helpful. All went good. Had car service 11/10. No issues until this morning 11/12 at abt. 8:00 am. I finished a 45 mile drive. When I stopped and let engine idle, the low tire pressure light went on. Looked at tires. did not see anything alarming. Drove home. Measured tire pressures. All 4 tires were at 30 psi according to my tire gage. Filled all 4 tires to 35 psi which is recommended pressure. Light went out. Don't know what happened, but the Ford service was to check and reset pressure as required.

Excellent experience. Chelsea was able to duplicate an intermitent problem I was having with my remote start (not activating the climate control last settings). A TSB was found addressing the problem and so far (with multiple starts) the problem appears to be resolved.

Return visit. Focus SVT ignition needed to be replaced a months back. The work was completed at that time, but the chimes never stopped when the keys and lights were turned off. I don't drive the vehical often, nor do I have many days off. When I came in I was given a difficult time aboout looking at free and fixing it. I understood it might not be related to the prior work. The service guy was less than customer satisfaction driven, never a happy tone in his voice. Not even when I got the call that the car was ready. I am happy that all is working fine, some step was missed during the original fix. I like the location of your business near my home. But I could select from 5 other dealerships on the way home for Ford WHQ.

The customer service representative who handled my drop-off was very cordial when I arrived. She explained what would be done with the 80k mile checkup, and made sure that the two safety notices I received would be handled. Since I was not sure how long the three tasks would take, I did ask her for a phone call by 4pm at the latest in order that I make the proper transportation arrangements in order to pick up my family. She noted it on the account, and fortunately the service was completed before that timeframe.It would've been nice if she would have recapped the two service recall jobs, but it didn't negatively impact my experience. Thank you for washing my Escape. That was a very nice touch. It would be nice to know if there are any cleaning services available through the dealership. I need to have my interior deep cleaned.

The service 6000 mile service took longer than I expected, but the waiting room was comfortable and clean, as was the restroom. I wider selection of magazines to read while I was waiting would have been nice. Also, my car disappeared for a while (I could see the the service bay from the waiting room} with no explanation. I suspect the car may have been taken to the main garage, or for a test drive.

I had my Flex in for oil change. I don't care for having to take it to the other building. I had planned on speaking to my saleman, but didn't want to walk over to main bldg. in the rail. Also when I got my car back there were lugs left in my drink holder. I didn't know what the were or what they were for. I went back into bldg to ask and was informed they were for the locks on the tires. Would have been nice to have had that explained before hand.

Everything was fine, but you may want to consider using an extra driver for your shuttle service when business is high. I don't mind waiting, but am aware that some people do. The driver you have is extremely good, but I believe he was a bit overworked at the time of my appointment. Also I no longer own a focus and you may wish to remove it from my profile.

I originally brought my 2013 Fusion in because it was in an accident, but since collision had to order parts for it, I asked them to take care of the recalls while they had the car. They sent it to service to have that done. All of them did a superb job, and it didn't take too long either.

2009 Edge. Wheel bearing on right passenger side. Came in with noise in rear issue and theservice writer immediately recognized my problem. Got a ride home and picked up 4 or so hourslater. Staff was very helpful.

I am currently leasing a 2013 escape. I brought it in for the 20,000 mile checkup and was impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the timeliness of the work done. The mechanic went above and beyond when he noticed there was a minor issue with the exhaust heat shield. The work was done 15 minutes before the quote time. Overall the establishment is very efficient and the staff is friendly and helpful.

The quick service experience was great. The manager helped me with picking tires for my GT Mustang and I received a fantastic selection (Pirelli) and he informed me of my Ford retire discount which was $139 off the tires. The car drives better than the original tires.

I got great service and a good price on my new 2014 Ford Raptor pick up truck from Blackwell Ford. My salesman was Rick Goodman who kept me informed when the vehicle was scheduled and eventually built. He also called me when the truck was first delivered so I could see it right away. Rick made sure that everything was done right such as the aftermarket tonneau cover and wheel locks and took the time to show me how to use the numerous features on the vehicle. Rick also synched my phone and made sure my contacts were imported correctly. I also got a good price on my 2008 Ford Escape that I traded in.

My lease is coming due on my Fusion which I got from Bill Brown Ford so I went to the dealership yesterday to explore my options. When I asked for help no one was willing to assist even though there were salesman just sitting around. I let the staff know that I had all my paperwork and was pre approved for $75,000 line of credit. Still no one help. I got the impression that the men were not will to help a woman.

This place is a joke. They did warranty work that involved replacing parts that they knew wouldn't fix my problem, collected the warranty dollars from Ford, and then told me to come pick up my still malfunctioning car.Now they are refusing to do the work that WILL fix my car, even if I pay for it out of my own pocket. They don't want my money because I was 'very disruptive' and I was late returning their 'loaner'... which is actually a rental paid for by my Ford Extended Service Plan. (Good thing I bought that ESP, too... my car spends a lot of time in the shop not getting fixed.)My Regional Customer Service Manager at Ford corporate told me that the rental car would be covered for the week. But still, service manager Brian Mooney focused on the fact that I kept his 'loaner' after they failed to fix my car (while I waited to hear from my CSM, who took three days to call me back). And then he told me that my money is no good and that he doesn't want my business now.Anyways, don't go to Blackwell Ford unless you like having your time wasted, your sanity questioned, and your car not fixed.

I went to Blackwell Ford today because I got something in the mail from them a couple weeks ago and I called them up and talked to the guy I mentioned, well he said that he would help me and I was very pleased with this. So I told him about how many miles I was over on my lease and how my credit was and that I could get a co-signer no problem. So we put an online application in and it got approved, Okay. Great! Right? No. So wrong. He gave me a price for what it would be without stuff rolling into it and I said okay well roll this and this onto it and it came out to be and okay price and they approved that price, so he gets a hold of me today to tell me to get on the x plan and that my Car would be ready at 130-2 and to just bring my car to trade it in, so I was really excited because no one wanted to help me at all on this. So I went there with my co-signer like he told me to do so, mind you he comes out and grabs my license plate and my registration and then he checks my miles when I told them what they were before the geico. So that got under my skin a little bit, so we go inside and he goes wow since your way over these are going to have to be rolled into this payment and I go no I told you about these miles and we got into it with him about it so he called Ford Credit and they go well we can just bill her for her over milage which was totally fine. He goes back and talks to his manager or whoever she is and he comes back and goes it's a Open to close deal basically I would half to fork up the money for all my over milage or give them half when I told him i didn't have it. So we were still sitting there waiting and he kept walking to other customers talking to them and completely ignoring us and when he finally looked at us he went in to see what was going on and she told him that Ford Credit now denied me, and this is because he made my payments jump to over 500.00. When he told me to come in at 130-2pm and grab my new car and that he would have paper work filled out, which he had nothing ready. I will NEVER come back to this place, it was not worth my time. I hope someone from this place reads all of these because this place is beyond terrible. & by the way I went to another dealership and they took care of me just fine. I will NEVER tell anyone to go here, EVER. What a shame.

My vehicle has Ford's top of the line extended warranty that cost me thousands of dollars. I dropped the car off to have them check out a check engine light. They called to tell me that the light was not on and therefore could not diagnose the problem. When I went to pick up the car they charged me $98 for the work...which was to inspect the dash panel and determine that the engine light was not lit.

This place is a joke, Stay far away. I purchased a certified used Ford Escape. First day I got it I plugged my cell phone in to charge but outlet did not work. Knew was probally just fuse so brought there to change out, wanted to charge me? really? no thanks I can do it myself. For some reason everytime I go to service department I get the woman and she looks clueless on what is going on in life. Said vehicle would be done later in afternoon for recall service. About 10 days later I finally got my car back. Didnt even offer me a loaner, I had to ask and wanted to charge me 50 dollars a day. Needless to say my car has never ran the same since being serviced. I can honestly say I will never buy a Ford again and if I ever do I will never step near Blackwell Ford in Plymouth MI. Worst customer service in the world. If anyone from Blackwell ever reads this, Share with your employees that it doesn't take much to go a little out of your way to help someone!

Took car in to have rattle looked at along with fluid change. Richard called to tell me that the rattle was a exhaust issue and would be cheaper to fix at outside muffler shop. great info and nice to know he was looking out for my wallet. Have been going here for years and am never sorry.

I bought my car from a different Ford dealer and it is still covered under manufacture warranty, I called the dealer I bought from (they are almost 60 miles away, so they are not convenient to get back to) and they told me the minor problem and told me exactly what to say to a dealer around me...I did and they had NO idea what I was talking about, even told me they would have to charge me, but I had to make an appt. first!!! Umm...I don't think so, I was told by the original dealer it would take 5 min to re-program, this service dept. told me they have to take the car apart...I was furious and called North Brothers Ford and they told me to 'come on by' and they seriously took 3 minutes to re-program my computer system in the car. The manager talked small talk longer than it took to 'fix' my car, and they did NOT charge me. I will be sending FORD a letter detailing this type of stupidity at a dealership, if it were up to me, the two lowlife people I spoke with who tried to charge me over $100 to 'look' at my under warranty car should be fired. GOOD dealerships to go to are DORIAN FORD (Clinton Township) and NORTH BROTHERS FORD (Garden City, which I will always be taking my new car to from now on).

I went for a oil change,tire rotation and brake check combo. While I had it in I wanted them to check the battery they installed previously for the built up around theterminals that has been occurring and to put something on it like a sealer so it wouldnot happen. He explain that it was a maintenance free battery and it doesn't happen much so they don't do that. As far as I know that means you don't have to add water anymore,they do have product you can spray on or rub on, a five minute job. I alsoask him if a techician could listen to my window on the driver side go up and down to give me an idea what could be going on. Oh no that will take too long we would have to disassemble the door to do that, what a bunch of crap, I was looking for some possibilities. I GUESS WHEN TIMES ARE GOOD YOU CAN PUSH YOUR LOYAL CUSTOMERS AWAY.Glen Sdao is my sales person he has always treated us good, it is hard to buy yourcar at one dealer and get it fixed at another.

Took our newly purchased 2008 Explorer in for some warranty work prior to 3yr 36 expiring and Blackwell did a great job! We did not buy the vehicle from them but they treated us like we did. Very good service department. Excellent work done and in a timely manner. We will continue to use them for service when required and will consider them for our next purchase as well.
