Scheduled oil change change wiper blades check fog lights. 1 and 1/2 hours later I was told it would fail inspection because the fog lights didn't work. I said I know that's why I asked you to fix the fog lights. They said they couldn't because they didn't have the bulbs and it would take a half an hour to get them. I think a few chimps could run that place better and they work for bananas

I may represent a minority: I travelled over an hour to purchase a specific car at a good deal from Balise Nissan. As for that, I'm pleased with the purchase -- the car, the price, the trade-in, etc. Minimum amount of haggling drama. But...when it came to the actual process, they seemed like a bunch of amateurs. First, after agreeing to buy, the salesman let me walk away w/o signing important papers -- like a purchase agreement, trade-in paperwork, etc. [this is supposed to be what they do for a living, so they should know what has to be done at each stage of the process -- no?] So I had to drive back there (RT = 2 hours) to sign paperwork and get official. Irritatingly, I could not do that just anytime, but on a specific day and a specific time, because they "didn't have anyone there at the dealership authorized to sign THEIR paperwork at any other time". Huh??? I asked how many people were authorized to deal with paperwork. Answer -- two. For the whole dealership. Period. And on the day I wanted to come, neither one was present. [does that mean the dealership couldn't sell cars that day????] When I did arrive to sign the paperwork, there was a long discussion about my address (I get mail at a PO Box) No one seemed to know which address (physical or mail) was necessary on the title, so I ended up signing two versions of every piece of paperwork with an address. After this was worked out, I needed to supplement the final bank check with a small amount b/c they had underestimated the DMV fees by $45. When I looked at the receipt, they had charged me $4500!!! So this had to be corrected. After this visit, I had to drive back a third time to actually pick up the car. But. This trip was also a waste because they hadnt registered the car. At first, they wanted to blame backups at DMV. But when I noted that I could see DMV wait times online, they confessed they had been rejected twice because of errors in their paperwork. By the time I finally got my car (they ended up driving it to me), I was wondering if my bargain was worth it. The salesmen were friendly but seemed clueless about paperwork, and the business guy seemed over his head.I understand that perhaps I shouldnt have gone so far for a deal, but really.... I did this kind of long-distance purchase about three years ago and only had two visits to the dealer -- one to negotiate the purchase and sign paperwork and the second to drop off the final check and pick up the car. That dealer seemed much more knowledgeable and organized about paperwork and the process and really assisted me in the purchase. These guys seemed like they were doing this for the maybe the first time ever and had no real clue.

Balise Nissan, formerly Jerry Rome Nissan, does not stand behind its customer's, nor the car's its sells to the public. Individuals within the service department at the dealership are friendly polite and do their best under their circumstances to serve the customer. They are not inherently bad people. However, the service managers, service advisors and mechanics DO NOT serve the customer's interest and are under heavy pressure, (from instructions by management and/or incentives) to view every service appointment as an opportunity to save the organization money or make it a lot of money. Unfortunately for the customer, the system at Balise Nissan encourages, if not requires, service employees to misdirect, mislead, and misrepresent the findings of vehicle diagnostics, mechanic incompetence and the repair history/experience with the same vehicle to either gouge a profit or shield the organization from a costly repair on a vehicle their sales people sold to the public.Yes, each customer service situation MAY BE unique. However, after 30 years of buying and having vehicles serviced, coupled with growing up with a father and father-in-law who were mechanics and service managers, I know an unethical management team and system when I experience one!

Mark Kline handled my car buying experience extremely professional. Mark is a great down to earth none pressuring, knowledgeable salesman. He went above and beyond to make my experience a good one. I bought my car on a Wednesday but, wasnt going to be able to register it till the following Monday. Mark took time on Sunday to give me a call and make sure all the final details were all set for Monday, even though his sale services were all done with me. Best salesman I ever dealt with.

When it came the day to sign the paperwork and accept delivery of my used vehicle, everything that could go wrong did go wrong. There were some issues internally (as well as me forgetting to bring my title on my trade in) with communication and it was a "perfect storm" of errors. However, Mark never stopped trying to do his best - for me and for his dealership. He is extremely friendly and I never felt like I was dealing with a stereotypical "sales guy". Even at my most frustrated, Mark really came through.

Brought my 2014 Nissan Versa to Jerry Rome and received fantastic service. Rob has a great personality and made me smile, laugh, and made me feel comfortable and assured me that my car would be fixed properly. I brought my Nissan Versa to Lia Nissan, Enfield, Connecticut where I purchased my vehicle and also was employed; thought I would give them the business since they were like family. My problem was not fixed even though they replaced my struts and front tie rod end. Brought my car back to Lia and they told me it was the bumper! Clunking noise still there. Purchased new vehicle and have experienced numerous mechanical issues. I have had the vehicle 1 and 1/2 years and it's been at the shop three times. I've had two valve cover leeks, after the second mechanic argued with me and called me a liar. Now having issues with it starting and they continue to tell me everything's fine, which it's not. Also have gas smell on my oil cap and dipstick, they say they can't tell me it smells like gas without oil test which they are not willing to pay for even though I payed for premium service package.

This is the third Nissan I've purchased from Jerry Rome in the last year. That alone should tell you something about this dealer that has promised me less - delivered me more- so that I'll love them longer. I keep coming back because of a great salesman (Bob Doe) and a business manager that really knows his stuff and works hard at sharpening the pencil to better the deal even after you think its as good as its going to get. The service on the vehicles I've purchased (1 new 2 used) has only been the usual and customary oil changes and tire rotations, but each time my wife or I go we"re greeted with a smile, taken on time and out quickly showing they value our time. I can highly reccomend doing business with this organization and I'm confident you will not be dissapointed if you purchase from them.

I recently purchased a new Nissan Altima from Jerry Rome Nissan and let me tell you, what a great experience! I have always HATED shopping for cars, I disliked the entire process. That is, until this last time... I sent an email to the dealership that was promptly followed up with by Clint Myles, my sales rep there. He made it clear from the start that he knew the Nissan product well and that if I decided that I liked the Nissan Altima enough to buy it that he would make the process as easy and hassle-free as possible. We set up an appt and I went in and drove the Altima and absolutely loved it! Then, without me having to go through gut-wrenching negotiations, Clint was able to get me a fantastic price and made everything that was and was not included very clear to me. Then Brian their finance guy went over all paperwork with me and made it very clear and easy to understand, and by the time I was done with him my new Altima was already cleaned with my plates on it, and I drove it home that day... The whole process took less than 3 hours and I was driving my beautiful new car home that day. If I could describe the process in a word it would be honest. I was given everything that I was promised and wasn't lied to, nothing was exaggerated, and everything that I was told that I would get- i did, plain and simple! He listened to my needs, and made me feel welcome as a woman coming in alone to purchase a vehicle. My first child is on the way and I wanted a safe vehicle with AWD that I thought would fit all of my new needs and the ROGUE was exactly that. Now i call him on the phone go in and every time get a great deal and alway spend a lot of time showing me the option and how to use them. When I go to them for service. From the moment I walked into Jerry Rome, it was a different experience than I had expected. The sales people were friendly and very helpful, and most important, not intrusive or pushy. After they answered all of my questions, we ended up taking a Rogue out for a test drive, and I was sold. The overall process was smooth, and I was able to take my truck that day. After having looked at the Nissan 'Rogue' both new and used at 2 different out of town dealers I had very little decission making information and felt that they didn't really care if i did business with them or not.I made one short phone call to Jerry Rome Nissan and spoke with Clint Myles the sales rep there. In that one short call , Clint gave me all the information I needed as well as the feeling he was truely interested in helping me get the rogue I wanted.My feelins were confirmed when he gave my wife and I transportation on 2 days as my 25 year old rocket had finally crashed on lift-off leaving me with no transportation..... I just leased a brand new Nissan Frontier! I worked with Clint. He had excellent customer service. When we first met he heard me out to gain an understanding of what I wanted. He then took the time to show me and tell me a great deal about the options I had. What really stood out for me was that, when I mentioned that I most definitely wouldn't be buying that day, he didn't push me to make any decisions and kept telling me about the cars. I addition to all of that he was very very approachable and accomodating throughout the process (and even after I signed the contract). I would highly recommend him to any of my friends and family.

Went into Jerry Rome looking for a new Sentra and was extremely nervous as I have never bought a new car before. Clint Myles met me at the door and was very friendly. He listened to what I was looking for and what my budget was and I never felt pressured in any way. He explained to me about a college grad program that I had never heard of, that helped me get into an Sentra more options than I had thought possible. Be very carful if you purchase a vehicle from this dealer, you will need to check the vehicle BEFORE you sign any paperwork. Between the time I test drove and purchased a vehicle and the time I picked it up, they removed the floor mats, tie down cleats in the bed of the pickup and owners manual. Then told me that it was used and was as is. Hmmm 5000 miles and parts go missing. BE VERY careful!!

I found a slightly used Nissan truck (less than 5000 miles) that I wanted at this dealership and test drove the truck. I also inspected the truck throughly and found that it had floor mats and tie down clamps for the truck bed as well as the owners manual in the vehicle. We reached a deal and the day I picked up the truck it was just out of their shop to be cleaned for me. I drove home and removed the paper floor mats but found no floor mats underneath. I called the dealer and spoke to the manager and he told me he would call me back after looking in the shop. He called to tell me he found only one mat and would order a new set for me. I received the new "non-matching" mats from them in a couple of days but also told them the tie down clamps which were under the seat in a new box were also missing. They told me that they were expensive and would not replace them but would look to see if they could find some for me. They never called back and don't return my calls. Please be very carful with checking a vehicle from them before delivery and make sure all of the parts are still in the car including the spare tire and jack. They take items out for resale or placement in other cars and remove them before delivery.

I was very pleased with the experience I had with Jerry Rome. I did purchase a 2013 Nissan Altima, which I love! When I did pick it up, I thoght it should have been detailed a little better and then I spoke to Bobby and I brought it back in and it got taken care of. I appreciate Bobby going the extra mile! I did trade in my 2012 Altima which I purchased from another Nissan dealership, which I will not go to again!Even the pain of going thru finance was very easy and everything was explained in detail

Great experience. This is our second new vehicle purchase from Jerry Rome and Bob Doe. He was helpful, friendly, and respectful of our time. I got a good trade and the vehicle was delivered with no problems. The Business Manager worked with me to make sure a confusing address situation (mailing street address in one town,residential street address in another) was properly entered to avoid a property tax issue down the road.

The advertised flyer and fantastic reviews of Bob Doe at Jerry Rome Nissan got me in the door. I didn't end up with the advertised price (read the fine print, the average person doesn't qualify for many of the discounts that brought the price down), but working with Bob Doe kept me in the building and ultimately into a 2012 Rogue for a 39 month lease that I am very happy with.I love the car, Bob and Brian (the finance manager) made the entire process a pleasant one, and I left feeling good about the purchase and positive I will be back to get another Nissan when my lease is up!

On June 9, 2012 I purchased a 2012 Nissan Altima. Luckily I had the ad in my hand of rebates, or I would not have gotten any. The salesman McGee had to repeatedly go back to manager to get what was advertised. Every one was unhappy and the Sales Manager had the nerve, when I declined the extended warranty, to pretty much call me an idiot, and that I could come up there once a week and he would give me a dollar towards the amount for the warranty. I should have walked out at that time, but I had already worked too hard to get what was advertised. I couldn't believe that someone would talk to a customer like that. Then when I picked up the car, the Nissan logo on the back was upside down, I mentioned this to the person who was delivering the car to be me, and he pretty much laughed and said maybe that is good luck. He didn't even flinch at the mistake that had gotten past all the people that worked and inspected that car.I am very dissatified with Jerry Rome Dealership, especially the sales manager. I would never consider buying a car here again, and I have told these stories to my shocked friends, co-workers and family. I don't have to tell you, that is no way to do business. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to let you know what goes on there. I do hope that I don't have problems with my car, because I do NOT want to deal with the people that I had to during the purchase. Pat

I want to commend Bob Doe on his above and beyond customer service. I am shopping around among several states for a Chevy SSR. Not an easy car to come by.. most are overpriced... and you have to read the CarFax's carefully (when available) to understand subtle issues and abuses with the vehicles. I made contact with Bob through an internet inquiry. He promply replied with an email and then followed up with a call. I returned the call and had questions prepared to ask. Bob was able to answer all my questions.. and he did not pressure me at all. I also asked whether he had certain photos of the SSR: Bob said he didn't but would take them, send them to me via email and also post them to the dealer's site by 10am the next day. Bt 8am the next morning all of this was done. Great follow-through Bob!!! I am still reviewing the information and although the distance to the dealership and my home is about 4 hours, I am still considering this SSR: the options, the price (wish it was $1K lower) and how to get the vehicle back home. The Jerry Rome dealership has a great salesperson on staff!

We came from Country Nissan. Where we were traded very badly. We were treated by eric, He listened to us complain about the experience had. And helped us find what we really wanted. We came in looking at the Versa and left with the Cube. Joe and Brian in finance were very helpfully getting us financed. I greatly appreciate all everyone did to help us.

Working with Bob Doe was great. He was a no pressure sales person which my wife and I really liked. I owned a Nissan Murano that I purchased from Johnson Nissan in Pittsfield Ma in 2008. I had just turned over 60k miles and thought that I should look at possibly trading it in. I did alot of research and first, decided to stay with Nissan given it's outstanding performance, and secondly, I LOVED the Nissan Juke SL AWD. I contacted the dealer that sold me the Murano and asked if they could find a White Pearl Nissan Juke SL AWD for me and I was told he was having a difficult time locating one, but he had a graphite blue one on the lot that was loaded. Sorry, not what I was looking for. I went back online to Nissanusa.com and searched for the exact car that I was looking for which turned up Jerry Rome Nissan. I sent my inquiry online and Bobby Doe from Jerry Rome Nissan contacted me that day via email. He let me know that he had the vehicle that I was looking for. After work, I contacted him and said that I was interested. To make sure he got the email, I followed up with a phone call, just to make sure. He informed me that someone had come in and was interested, but encouraged me to come down (one hour away) the nest day (Saturday). So I set out with my Mom and daughter Annie on Saturday morning. On the Mass Pike, my phone beeped and said I had a new email. The email was from Bobby Doe telling me that the customer who looked at the vehicle on Friday had put a deposit on the car. He was very apologetic, but my heart was broken. We were almost to West Springfield, so I decided to keep going. As we were driving, I began assessing my options, Balise Honda, Balise Toyota, Subaru, etc., but I really had my heart set on the vehicle I was going to see. So, after much thought, I pulled into Jerry Rome Nissan, parked, got out and walked around. I saw 2 black Nissan Jukes, a red one, and the White Pearl one that I was really going to see, but now was sold. I walked inside and asked for Bobby, he came out and apologized again, asked if I still wanted to test drive one, and I hesitantly stated yes, but he assured me he could get another white pearl Juke SL AWD. As he went inside to get the plates, key and a photocopy of my license, the manager came out and told me that the person who had put a deposit on the Juke withdrew it. Bobby didn't even know yet! I was ecstatic! It was all smooth sailing after that. Test drive to sign was less than 3 hours and extrememly painless! It was without a doubt the BEST car buying experience I had ever had. He was more than willing to make me happy without the normal car buying pressure (for example, I have a Graphite Blue one you will LOVE). I knew what I wanted and he didn't try to sell me something I didn't. I can't say enough positive things about this dealership, except how I sincerely appreciate all of their help and willingness to go the extra mile for a customer! THEY GET THE HIGHEST RATING IN MY BOOK, and I can guarantee that they will get alot of additional business from Western Massachusetts (the Berkshires in particular!!!!). Thank you Jerry Rome Nissan for your outstanding customer service and wonderful understanding of a customers wants and or needs! You guys are the BEST!

My wife and I had a great experience with Bob at Jerry Rome Nissan. We knew exactly which car we wanted, and I did all my research online to determine the best price. When we got to the dealership, Bob explained the process, as well as showing me how they arrived at a value for the trade in, when I initially thought the offer was quite low.Thankfully, we did not run into any of the "sales" lingo or presentations that usually come with visiting a car dealership. I'd happily deal with Bob again when we are ready to buy our next vehicle.

I am so thankful for my new nissan rogue! Bob doe was extremely helpful and a great listener as to what i wanted. I will definately send others to get their vehicles at nissan! This is my third time purchasing a vehicle from this dealer. My sales person ( Bob Doe) is great to work with. He is friendly, gets things done, tells us all we need to know and helps in every way possible. Everyone I have delt with is wonderful, and makes me want to keep going back.

I was looking for a 370Z. I found through an online cars search that Jerry Rome Nissan had one in stock. I filled out the contact form and Bob Doe contacted me. He was easy to work with and professional throughout. It was not one of those "slimy car salesman" experiences - Bob was very up front with me and was able to give me an AMAZING price on the car I was looking for. I drove 2 hours to pick up the car - a little nervous that the whole deal had been arranged by phone. I was hoping there would not be any hidden fees or hassles. There weren't. Joey (in finance) explained everything, offered us an extended warranty (and did not pressure us when we declined) and took care of the paperwork. Bob made sure the car had it's plates and an inspection sticker and that we were 100% happy - and we were. The icing on the cake - my ride to the dealer goes out to leave, notices his tire is flat. Bob takes the car to the service guys, checks it out, fixes it up and brings it back out for us and doesn't charge a dime. Then he introduced me to the service guys, scheduled an very reasonably priced oil change, and makes sure the new car is spotless and we know how everything worked and were ready to go - with a full tank of gas!Definitely an A+ experience all the way around!

We bought a Nissan Altima for our daughter and got a great price from Jerry Rome. Our salesman Bob Doe went above and beyond what was expected in making sure this was a pleasant experience for us. He located the car we wanted and had it for us the next day. On delivery Bob Doe connected her blue-tooth made sure she understood how to use it and all of the other features of the car. He was great at explaining to her how to maintain her new car and use all the safety features of the car. Bob Doe and all the Jerry Rome staff were helpful, attentive and friendly. very professional. no pressure at all. extremly helpful. all around a great experience. i was treated like person. and not like i had no knowledge of cars what so ever. never tried to sell me something i didnt want. i was given a tour of the building, and met with alot of the staff. everyone seemed to get along. like everyone was buddys with eachother. i felt comfortable there.

Jerry rome nissan was very accomodating with my needs. As soon as I walked in the door I felt comfortable with the decision I was about to make. I purchased my third Nissan Xterra today and I will keep on purchasing my vehicles at Jerry Rome Nissan. The sales team is great. They do not make you feel pushed. They give you room to breath.

Excellent curteous service on a great deal. My wife and I were very pleased with our experience there. We both highly recommend them for a great deal. I have been having my cars serviced at dealerships for over 25 years and this is by far the best service department I have ever dealt with. In fact, because of this service department, both my wife and son have purchased new cars from this dealer. Great job.

04 sentra That was taken in for transmition concern while still under warranty. Got the car back and was told they did a head gasket? Car was running fine and had no overheating issues at all. Transmition still hangs in first gear when cold and engine has antifreeze running down front of block. Found screws loose and the wrong screws in the wrong places. Throttle screws were loose and car would not idle when it was returned. Took it back and this time they told my wife it was a timing issue? I believe this was their fault as well due to the removal of timing chain when head was removed. I have plenty of know how as I tune and race my own work. This dealer ship is a joke and they will stand behind nothing more than the counter. The car has not and will not go back to the Hacks again! This was her second Nissan and her 92 was never in the shop with 180k on it when it was sold and is still on the road today with over 200 on it. This sentra will never see 60k with us owning it as it is going to the auction to be sold off. Do not Buy or let Jerry Rome work on your car as you will be disapointed!

My girlfried took her car in for an oil change....After I drove the car I noticed the engine is stalling and there is no power..?After further invesigation, I noticed the air box was damaged ..Whoever checked the air filter did not reattach the air box and broke one of the clips...And they overfilled the engine by 8 qtz of oil!!!!!!!! This may cause serious ring and engine damage. Evidently oil is not checked after the oil change.!!!Also they told her she needs to have 2,000$ worth of parts (exaust, brakes, shocks etc..)We took it to a different shop and 2 different mechanics said everything was fine.What a joke of a service shop...Go there at your own risk...beware

When I brought my car in for service, it came out with other mechanical issues. Jerry Rome refused to fix what they broke. I had similar issues with them several years ago when they installed my headlamps incorrectly. At that time, they fought with me and tried to refuse to fix my headlamps. After much of a battle, they finally agreed because my lights were pointing in two different directions. I decided to give them a second chance and I regret it. This time around, they phyically damaged my catalytic converter and refused to replace it. Their mechanics do shoddy work.
