I wanted to express to you and your staff my gratitude for saving me from a very difficult situation last week. I flew to Ohio to pick up an A8 from a dealer there late Thursday afternoon. About 175 miles into an 1800 mile road trip back home, the idler pulley failed and the serpentine belt snapped about 10 miles east of Indianapolis. Since it was 10pm, I had to get some help to get the car to your dealership where I left it on your doorstep with a pleading note to help.The following morning, Andrew came to my rescue and was excellent throughout my experience. Your staff by the stroke of luck was able to overnight the part from Wisconsin, and Bryce and the Tech (I'm sorry I don't know his name), were able to get me back together on Saturday for a relatively uneventful drive back home. If your staff wasn't as professional and helpful as they were, I fear I would have been stranded there over the entire holiday weekend, or I would have had to fly back home and come back at a later time. They were outstanding. The only regret I have is that your dealership is too far from where I live to be my go to for your valuable service. However, if I ever find myself in Indianapolis; Audi Indianapolis has a lifelong customer.Thank you again, and please express my appreciate to your staff.UPDATE: 10/06/2016 Additional extenuating circumstances led to my reaching out to the General Manager of Audi Indianapolis for some help with a particular issue. The dealership certainly had no obligation to help me, but Rod Ingalls was absolutely gracious and understanding and helped me as much as I could ask for. Thank you Audi Indianapolis and as I have mentioned, I will be a loyal customer for life.

I went online about 6 months ago to schedule a test drive, Donnie was the person that contacted and help me out, we went ahead and had a good time driving an used Q5. 5 month later when I am ready to buy a car, he found a used one for me as specifically as I expected ( w/ navigation, bang and olufsen speakers, gray color). It is a beautiful car w/o the appreciation values. As a Certified pre-owned car, the after-sales service will be more critical, but the salesperson and finance manager, Donnie and Neil, they are both very friendly and fun to work with, both have the great sense of humors and knowledge about the services they provided. As a first car buyer, I had lots of questions but they all being very knowledgeable, provided the options for me. It was a great experience with them!

We worked with Donnie Jones to purchase our Audi Q7. He is extremely knowledgeable, very kind, and helpful. He was patient and took his time helping us, even when we were not sure we were ready to buy a car yet. We had ample questions, and he answered all of them without hesitation. We stayed in contact for a couple of weeks. I really liked the Audi that I had test driven, but wanted to continue looking and make sure that the Audi was the vehicle of choice for us. Donnie communicated regarding various options for us. Then we decided we were ready to purchase the Audi Q7. He referred us to Neil to talk about the differences in leasing, financing, or paying outright. Neil walked through ALL of our buying options. We were quite able to make an informed decision. I knew the exact car I wanted, and Donnie helped us get it. Then he came in on his day off, so that we could pick up the car as our schedule permitted. As this is our first Audi, he spent much time making sure that I was very comfortable with the functions of the vehicle! I love my Audi Q7. It is beautiful and luxurious, and drives like a dream! We are so very happy!

Our recent visit to Audi Indianapolis was the best car-buying experience EVER! We have looked for over a year for "the best car for our current needs." Have been taking my car to tom wood audi for 5 years.two weeks ago had a very bad experience.took my car in to have control arms changed.they had my car for a week then informed me that they coudnt get bolts out or to turn.I have work stopped go to get my car.they charge me after I gave a coupon that was for a free check on the vehicle.well they still charged me.small issue..the big problem is they broke off the bolt in my passengerside control arm in the nuckel...this being after they told me they coudnt get the bolts out.audi did not tell me the bolt was broke off.they just tried to charge me 4000.00 dollers for control arms and new drive nuckles. ..well after arguinging wth David the service writer I got no wear.they sent me out if there wth a broke part they broke.I took my car to SAC CUSTOM EXOTICS.FIXED MY CONTROL ARMS NO PROBLEMS AND ALIGNED MY CAR FOR 1000.00 LESS THAN TOM WOOD AUDI.....NOT SURE WHAT HAS HAPPEND TO THIS LOT AFTER THEY SPLIT FR9M PORSCHE..VERY BAD TIME AT THIS GARAGE.MY NAME IS JAMES WEST..

I just love my Audi A5 convertible! Rob Graves and the rest of the team at Audi of Indianapolis has been nothing but helpful! We had leased several other Audi's from Rob and I just was unsure if I wanted to stay in an SUV or not. My A5 is AWD and has driven like a champ in some heavy snow and ice conditions! I still continue to service my car at the new location just across the street and a few doors down. I feel completely comfortable as a woman going in alone to ask Rob or the rest of the staff any questions about my car! Compliments to Rob and staff! Only complaint!! I want the above 60 weather back so I can put my top back down!

I will not buy again from this dealer cannot get any follow up service. Bought three Lexus from the Tom Wood dealer never had a problem. My first and last Audi from this dealership and I came from out of state to purchase it. i cannot get anyone to return my calls or e- mails even the manager will not return my calls. Pretty sad when you pay so much for a vehicle and once you drive it off the lot that's it!

My wife and I have upsetting, disappointing,discouraging and frustrating experiences with this dealership. They have dinged our dor doors, chip paint on the front bumper and spilled oil on the front of the car (sloppy and careless). When we brought this to the service managers attention my wife found him dismissive and "talked down" to her. The car had 13k miles when we complained of wear and discoloration on the driver'seat bolster. We were told cars with this type of support will wear and this is not a warranty issue. Now we have another warranty issue and the problem is a wiring harness from the oxygen sensor to wear it route underneath a heat sheild has been cut by the heat sheild and even though it is showing bare wires they will not claim a warranty.It is my opinion the dealership will not be an advocate for their customer's because they will make more money if I have to pay for the part and labor compared to filing a warranty.Maybe the issue is we bought from another Audi dealer because Tom Wood was not interested in find the car we were looking for when we were in the marketTom Wood Audi has built a really nice facility, changed their name to Audi Indianapolis but they forgot to change their customer support. It is still the same poor dealership just with prettier face. "Too Bad"By nature I am brand loyal, believe in service through factory authorized dealers? We love our Audi but I will never recommend this dealership especially for service.I will drive out of town to get service from now on.

I recently purchased a used vehicle from the Audi Indianapolis dealership. The initial buying experience was very pleasant and easy I enjoyed working with my salesman. Since then though, it has been a nightmare. In under a month of owning the vehicle, a problem with the engine occurred. I took the vehicle back for repairs, under the impression they would fix it for free under warranty. They ended up charging me $330 including $200 of labor costs for something that should have been taken care, by them, before I purchased the vehicle to begin with.But wait, that's not all... On top of this I had been waiting for a few weeks up to a month for the title and vehicle information to get processed, so I could go register the vehicle with the state. I had a temporary license plate for a month. I get a call THE DAY the temporary plate expires saying "they need more information before they can process the plates and title to me." After a month of waiting to register my new vehicle they screw me over by telling me they can't process the vehicle for some more time on the day the temporary plates expire. So I had to go 10+ days with expired license plates waiting for their lack of communication and screw ups to finally get taken care of.EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL.

We purchase an CPO Audi TT at another dealer (because Tom Wood did not have what we were looking for). Our first experience for service at Tom Wood was disappointing. Oil was dripped on the car in several place and the front bumper was dinged and paint chipped. My wife complained to the service writer, who then brought the service manager out to look. The SM (as I witnessed) was indifferent and arrogant and in my opinion disrespectful. My wife told him she had read service reviews that were not complementary of Tom Wood and he stated that he does not read the reviews because people just like to complain. At that point I stepped in and told him people sometime complain for good reason and that we expect Tom Wood to repair the damage. I really think he was trying to snowball my wife because she was a woman, as well as get out of being responsible. We have been to the dealer several time since because we have only one choice in the market for Audi Dealer service and each time the car has come back with a nick. I personally hand wash the car and I know it' s status, the dealership is CARELESS. I witnessed a white S4 being parked by a mechanic after service and I thought he going to hit another parked car. I believe it is a reasonable expectation when the car is return it is in the same or better condition as when it is brought in. We have had two warranty issues, first is wear of the driver seat at 11K the dealer told us it is to be expected with seats with side bolsters. I asked them to contact Audi and they stated Audi won't warranty the seat. I ask them to turn it in anyhow. ( I doubt if they, Tom Wood, really did). We have had two Lexuses prior to the Audi both cars were service by Tom Wood Lexus and the service was excellent. The second warranty issue is a rattle in the dash, the first repair was with the top (it's a convertible) it was better until I found the tires deflated to 15lbs. Brought it back again and the rattle is worse.. My general impression is the service department is complacent, arrogant, disrespectful and incompetent, Audi should really look into the service (use secret shoppers) or raise their level of expectations. As for the dealership. The Service Manager should get his head out the sand (spelled with an A and 2 SS's) and realize people appreciate and perceive good service a valuable commodity.

I'm a little surprised at some of the (older) negative reviews here. I just had my A4 serviced. During an after-service inspection, they found my water pump was failing, so they let me know and I authorized them to replace it under my warranty. They were professional and extremely polite, and the facility is clean and comfortable. Yes, parts/labor are a little expensive (an oil change for $114), but it's an Audi/Porsche dealership. Overall a good experience.

Brought in 2013 Q5 for an oil change. Employees drove vehicle with no oil. Destroyed the engine. Management said they wanted to make things right. Their actions spoke louder than their words. They did not make things right. We are very disappointed in their service and their managers.

My husband and I have nothing but great things to say about Tom Wood Porsche Audi. We bought our very first brand new A4 in 2011. The entire experience was great. Scheduling service was very convenient and we were always given a loaner car. In 2013 we were involved in an accident and came back to Tom Wood Porsche Audi to trade in our car for a brand new one. We were very upset having been hit by an uninsured motorist but Tom Wood Porsche Audi helped make it all better. From the minute we walked in we were treated very kindly. Joe Leblanc was wonderful to deal with and he took excellent care of us. He was very patient with us as we picked out our new 2014 A4 and waited for our old one to be fixed so it could be traded in. We not only consider Joe our go to salesperson there but also a friend! Caleb Nobbe in service has also been wonderful to work with. We will be back for many years to come!!

After a bad experience at a local dealer, I made the trek from Southern Indiana to Tom Wood as I am very interested in the A4. Boy was it worth the drive. Great service and extremely knowledgeable sales force. I worked with Chris who informed me about all the facts on the car. He was patient and helpful. He even had activities to keep my young kids entertained which I have never seen at a car dealership. My wife loved the coffee machine! While we haven't made our final decision on the car, if we do go with the A4, you can guarantee I will drive back to Indy and purchase it from Tom Wood. Great people, great service, and a clean and friendly environment. Couldn't ask for anything more!

I was in town and stopped in to get a sun visor bracket for my A4 that broke last week. After waiting 15 min. To be waited on the parts person at the counter hung up the phone and asked what I needed. I told him I needed the right side sun visor bracket in silver for my A4. He looked up the part and told me " yes we have the part in stock and it would be $77.00". I was stunned I waited for a moment and confirmed the price, he said yes it is $77.00. I informed him I was just on the Internet and had found it at several sites for $34.00. He promptly said will it's $77.00 here. I told him I was not interested in buying the part from him and left. I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS DELARE TO ANYONE.

This is, hands down, far and away, the absolute WORST service department I have ever visited in my life. I have been here a few times for warranty work and regular service, and they will do anything they can to get out of warranty repairs, including blatantly lie to your face and mistreat your vehicle.The previous time I was here my service advisors were CALEB and ANDREW, and it took in excess of return 4 trips to get them to actually do the warranty work, even though I told them exactly what the problem was and it was easily reproduced. I heard all the classic excuses, "It's normal" (it's not), "It's not covered by warranty" (it was), "It's a wear item" (definitely wasn't), etc. I ended up eventually dealing with JOE, the service manager, and the problem got fixed.On the most recent visit my service advisor was JULIE. I was in for a problem covered under warranty and they were supposed to be doing a diagnostic test for oil consumption that required filling the oil to a specific level per Audi instructions so they could measure the consumption. They overfilled the oil more than I have EVER seen ANY car overfilled (My guess is on purpose so it would pass the diagnostic). I told them it was overfilled and WELL over the max line on the dipstick. JULIE told me that the service manager requested I bring it back so they could fix it, but they gave it back to me the next day saying they only put in 4.9 quarts (about what was supposed to be in it). This was not even close to the truth.After picking up the car I immediately took it to an independent shop that I trust and verified that the car was overfilled by more than 2 quarts. Tom Wood put ~7 quarts of oil in a car that is only supposed to hold 4.5-4.8 qts!!! If you want a car covered by some sort of manufacturer warranty, do yourself a favor and avoid Tom Wood Audi in Indianapolis. Unfortunately I'll be driving 1-2 hours to one of the next closest Audi dealers when I need dealer service/support in the future. A sad fact is that doing this might realistically end up saving me time.We have had two Audis, and they are great cars, but, after dealing with Tom Wood I certainly won't be buying another.I will say that they are polite, and make sure that your transportation needs are met while they have your car.

I had a GREAT experience with the men who helped me: Lee and Rod. Both were very patient, knowledgeable, kind and they even have a good sense of humor. Both were extremely responsive to all of my questions and they did not make me feel foolish for my "girl" questions :) I received personal service and attention, which is generally lacking in many businesses today. Customer service is fantastic. They went above and beyond my expectations in the purchase of my vehicle. I also enjoyed working with Nadine in the paper process. She too was very friendly, happy, knowledgeable and courteous in our interactions. I definitely would refer Tom Wood Audi to my family and friends and I look forward to a long history of doing business with these folks.

The staff at Tom Wood Porsche Audi was very friendly, professional and really new their products. The service is first rate and my car was finished on the promised date. I was updated daily on the status and when I received my car it was spotless and above my expectations.

Fixed an appointment with Steve Malz for a A4 test drive, I showed up on time. Steve didn't even come to meet me, send Andy who refused test drive. Said they don't have a car available for test drive, I don't believe them. Very rude and impolite.

This is the second Audi we have purchased from this dealer and I have had nothing but great service each time. The sales and service department both are top notch. My only complaint would be the lack of inventory to choose from. We just had to order our last vehicle which was a Q5 because they did not have many to choose from. In their defense we did call several other Audi dealers and none of them had any Q5's either so I guess that is more a complaint for the manufacturer. Oh I also love the fact that I get an Audi to drive when my car is in for service.

I recently purchased a used 2003 Ford Explorer from the Tom Wood Porsche Audi dealership and was extremely impressed with the professionalism I encountered. Rod Ingalls and his associate, Neil Brenner, walked me through the process with patience and expert guidance and truly made this a great experience! The staff are knowledgeable, patient and kind and I would recommend this dealership to anyone I know. I truly cannot say enough good things about my entire experience with this terrific dealership!

Tom Wood by far is the worst dealer in the world. Don't ever take your car in if it is out of warranty. If they worked on Airplanes the FAA would have them all thrown in jail. If they worked in medicine they would have killed thousands of people. Ugh. NEVER EVER take your car in for service - especially if it has anything to do with safety (brakes etc). They may kill you.

After 5 BMW's I purchased a New Audi S5 and I absolutely love it!!! I had my finacing all lined up and ordered the exact car I wanted. When the car arrived the finance manager was able to save me a 1/2% point on the best rate I got from my personal bank. I had been disappointed with my previous dealings with this dealership, but that has all changed. I came in on a Saturday and was approched by a gentelman who introduced himself as the new General Manager. He apologized that all of his salespeople were currently helping other customers and asked if he could answer any of my questions until someone became free. I was immediately impressed that the G.M. would leave his desk on a hot day to make sure I was attended to. I was impressed because I had some terrible dealings with the old G.M back in 2006. My wife had a Saab lease that was coming due and Mr. Ingalls showed me a new A4 Convertible that I really thought she would like. I asked him about leasing and within 5 mins he had lease figures for me that fit our budget. He was very laid back and not your typical pushy car guy that I am used to so I told him I need to talk to my wife. He offered me the option of taking the car to her because she was at work but I told him we would not be ready for a few more weeks. A couple weeks later I walked in the front door and Mr. Ingalls saw me in the showroom and came out to greet me and my wife. I started to introduce my wife but he already remembered my name and my wifes name just from our conversation. He apologized that the original silver car I was looking at had been sold but that they just got in a Blue one that had the lighter interior like my wifes Saab and asked if we wanted to see that one. He introduced us to Rob Graves and said Rob would be more than happy to show us the car. 60 mins later we were in the finance office leasing our new A4 convertible. Both Rod and Rob were wonderful to deal with and I never felt pressured or like I was just another sale for them. The only negative from the whole experience was the finance lady. She was friendly at first but when we told her we did not want to buy any of the extras that they sell she became irritated.Thanks for the wonderful experience and my wife loves her new convertible!

I bought a car a year ago and can comment on the sales and service experience here. The salesperson you get is important. When I called on the phone, it was uninformative; you need to show up on the lot. After going through that and physically going to to the dealer, I recommend Josh Sides. I talked to Steve on the phone and he was less than helpful in locating my mother a Q5. Steve wouldn't help me find one, couldn't tell me if they would match a deal on a 2010, etc. My mom ended up paying close to sticker in Naples, FL for one. I feel we both lost. A week later, they have one on their lot, exact color, that they traded for. Steve told me they couldn't get any. Hmm... /rantThe pricing can be a challenge here as Indy is a small market with one Audi dealer. But I will say that the managers are good people and Josh was very informative and neutral. These days, sales people are often trying to "sell" you on the deal the office is offering. But if you are in the market for an Audi, chances are you have had some success with basic math and know how to use the internet. I appreciated not being treated like an idiot. I think that goes both ways -- do not have unrealistic expectations -- respect the market and ask for clarifications. The service department here has been great to me so far. They provided an Audi loaner vehicle, not a rental, and made certain I was satisfied with everything. For Indy area customers, I will say this dealership is the best Tom Wood dealer I have encountered. Head and shoulders over Volvo & VW. If you had a bad experience there, you might find greener pastures at Tom Wood Audi.Overall 4/5

Refused to service a pre-certified car bought at that same dealership because the warranty did not reflect the right name. Had to conference in all parties with Audi USA and work through the issue. It took 8 hrs for everyone to get on the same page. Issue is still open as the computers still needs to get the update. Car still needs to be worked. No loaner offered.

I visited Tom Woods Audi Dealership today in Indianapolis and I was COMPLETELY and UTTERLY disappointed in the service and treatment I received from the sales representative. For a manufacturer of such a high end product I was also expecting a similar high end customer service but alas that did not happen and left a very sour test for overall Audi image. I wanted to test drive 2008 A4 and/or A3 to get a feel of the cars and measure which one would fit for my driving needs. When I mentioned this to the sales representative and he replied to me saying that I need to specifically first decide on which model and which year I want to purchase THEN AND THEN ONLY I will be able to test drive that vehicle. I tried to push him a little bit to at least let me test drive A3 which he had right in front of us, he replied to me saying that, that was the only car they had and someone was buying it so can not test drive it. After that I tried to push him a little more with 2008 A4, he replied that I need to make a commitment of buying one and THEN AND THEN ONLY I can test drive. In the conversation he also mentioned that if I did not have any specific model and year in mind and did not have commitment to buy it, IT WILL BE WASTE OF HIS TIME!!! Utterly disgusted with the treatment I left without any test drive experience. If this is the kind of service and customer treatment (and if this is the image Audi is trying to project of making customers feel stupid about expecting a simple thing from car dealership of test driving a vehicle before a purchase) I will be getting after I purchase Audi Vehicle, I am better off without buying one. This is the kind of experience that completely shattered the image I had about Audi being a high end and customer focused service car manufacturer. I believe Tom Woods Audi dealership and in turn Audi America has lost a customer and several that would have followed with my recommendation.

The service department is horrendous. I specifically told them what the problem with the car was, but chose not to listen to me. I had two problems, front left speaker was blown, and the right rear wheel bearing was shot. Specifically told them that, and they simply turned the car back over to me the next day saying "There's nothing wrong". It took three attempts and two drives in the car with the service guy to prove that there was a problem with the both the speaker and bearing. Horrendous service. I love Audi's and will always own one, but it is worth the drive to go south to Cincy or north to any other dealership besides TOM WOOD.
