I used a truecar quote and got matched with this dealer. They didn't have the exact car, but made a discounted offer on the same trim level with an extra package at 50% off the price of the package. Sedeke was very helpful with the entire buying process. Very professional and no hidden fees or anything. Clint helped to secure the prices to make sure everything went exactly as I was expecting it to go. I was very close to buying from another (closer) dealer, until that dealer added fees after we had agreed on a price.

We arrived at the dealer around 7:30pm on a Tuesday evening. Within 5 minutes a very courteous sales person asked how she could help us or what we were looking for. We replied that our online search had turned up a used VW Beetle with manual transmission. She quickly showed all the neat features and lined up for a test drive for my wife. She was well informed, smart, did not pressure, helpful and courteous. Although we did not purchase the car that night, we were very impressed with this dealership and salesperson.

I live in Southern Maryland and there is a dealership within 6 miles of my home however, I bring my Bug to Alexandria because of the customer service I receive. I especially like the Servicer Manger Jonah he's the best. Maybe since Waldorf Volkswagen is one of Wes dealerships they should send Jonah down there to teach those folks what real customer service is about......

I brought in my 2013 Tiguan S for its 20,000 mile check-up under warranty. The shuttle service got me to and from Crystal City Metro promptly. The work was done properly when I returned. The exterior of my Tiguan cleaned for me as well.

The vehicle purchased was a 2014 R-Line, 2.0L, with sunroof, sound and navigation. I had initially decided on a convertible, but was interested in a standard transmission. Chuck Wheatley and I spoke on the phone and he told me he did not have a 2015 convertible on the lot with standard transmission. He did check the delivery schedule and said there may be some available in the future, but standard transmissions would only be available in the R-Line. I dropped by to talk with Chuck and he showed me the 2014 R-Line coupe on the lot to give me an idea of what to expect in the R-Line level of Beetle. Chuck offered a test drive and I, without hesitation, accepted. After a few miles and a look out the very large sunroof, I decided the R-line was for me and the necessity to have a convertible faded quickly. The entire experience was, in a word, exceptional. From interacting with Chuck, to the test drive, to filling out the credit application, to meeting the credit manager to taking delivery of a freshly washed and gas tank filled Beetle, all could not have gone more smoothly.

Bernardo made this purchase the most pleasant experience I have ever had buying a car. I had no intention to buy the day I showed up but I knew exactly what my expectations were if I had intended to. Bernardo was friendly, pleasant and not pushy at all. Bernardo fulfilled all of my requirements and was truly a joy to work with. Ene from the finance department was great as well. I had a positive experience. The salesperson that I worked with was patient and seemed knowledgeable. It wasn't a high pressure sale. I liked that. I was able to take my time to find the car that I wanted without feeling pressured. Nadine was really good.

Came down to look at a leftover Tiguan. I called ahead of time and Larry had it ready to go for me. After the test drive I wasn't blown away and rather than try to sell me a car I didn't want, Larry was low pressure. I don't like pushy sales people so it was a relief to be working with Larry. He showed me a Jetta that was cheaper, had a bigger trunk, way more features, and way better gas mileage. I appreciated the non-aggressive sales approach and attention we received for nearly 3 hours while I test drove cars and compared prices. The finance guy did try to sell me on an extra warranty but ended up getting me 0.4% APR which is pretty dang good! Larry never once tried to rush us into a decision or pressure us on anything. The paperwork and approval took less than 30 minutes once we made a decision and Larry had the car detailed, gassed up, and gave me a free set of cargo blocks + first aid kit. He also recommended a good place to eat lunch.

Great buying experience. Larry (internet sales) was no pressure, knowledgeable and easy to work with. I made an offer, he countered, I countered and the deal was done. Even the finance guy (Yong) was easy and personable. I went back for the 30 day inspection and a couple of other very minor concerns and the service desk and technician were knowledgeable and friendly. The parts department was not able to price match, "due to their overhead being so close to DC", so you may be able to find better deals at another dealership for OEM parts. Other than the parking lot being crowded and small, an overall excellent experience.

Pamela did a wonderful job! She repeatedly impressed me & my wife during the entire process. And when got to the dealership, it was clear the entire team was working together (especially with the GSM Marcello). We never even needed to visit another dealership. I just got home from buying a Tiguan at Alexandria VW and I must say the experience was excellent! I am 16 years old and it's my first car. We were met by a already clean Tiguan and a very knowlegble staff. The service was excellent! The sales staff knew what they were talking about and knew everything they could about the cars. All of them knew what they were doing from the finace guy Yong Hwang to the salespeople Carlos Ayala and Brandon Davis. I am now a customer for life!

I was skeptical after researching this make and model online. When i saw what looked like it would meet my expectations i called and made sure this low mileage wagon was available. I got Carflos Ayala on the phone and he made the transaction very seamless. I even had a headlight that was out and he took care of that at no-cost. They seem to aim to please at Alexandria VW and Carlos is the man.

This was our second time leasing a car from Alexandria VW and the experience was absolutely wonderful. As other reviewers have mentioned, at no point were we pressured at all or hassled the way sales transactions can sometimes go. I will also agree with other reviewers that Carlos Ayala was GREAT to work with; he was patient and friendly and made sure we walked out of there with the best deal for us. We actually got our car payment LOWERED and left with a new car. It was totally painless. Furthermore, the facilities are very clean and well managed, and overall we did not spend a huge amount of time just standing around. I would also mention Yong Hwang; although he did not personally sell us the car, we initially came in response to an email he sent about lease amnesty, and he did a great job getting us started and he continually checked in on us to make sure everything was going as planned. As a final note, we currently live in DC but knew we would be moving to Virginia shortly, and both Yong and Carlos gave us a lot of helpful information about getting our registration changed and how it would affect our car payments. Overall just a really great experience, I would recommend them to anyone. We will definitely be headed back in 39 months or so :)

I had a wonderful experience with Carlos (salesman) and Ene (financing) this past weekend replacing my Jetta. They were able to apply all kinds of incentives and I actually walked away with a new diesel Jetta for less than the same model two years older. I felt really taken care of and they gave me a fair trade for my 2003 which was on the brink of death. I came in with a pre-approved load from my bank, but they were actually able to save me an addition 1.1% with their rate and that process was super easy as well. Thanks guys! My dad purchased his last vehicle from here and I have a feeling we will come back for more in the future.

I went to volkswagen of alexandria and had a wonderful experience. My car dealer Carlos was very helpful, he answered any questions I had about prospective cars I wanted to buy; the guy even got my mother and I a hot coffee! I test drove three different cars and he was very patient we me( because I was very unsure of which car I wanted) and I finally drove off in a very sleek blue 2012 vw jetta, and I could not be happier. If anyone out there is looking to buy a car I definitely would recommend going to this dealership and asking for Carlos!!

I never write reviews, mainly because of laziness, but the customer service here was remarkable. I had questions and my sales rep Carlos Ayala had answers. He was never pushy just informative. It really felt like I was car shopping with a friend who just happened to know a lot about VWs. This was not the only VW location I visited, I checked out three other dealers in the NOVA area, they were all fine but this place stood out. Even when finalizing the deal with the financing guy (Mr. Hwang I think) I felt comfortable. Not to mention the fact that I got a great deal on the exact car I wanted.

I just bought a new Passatt from Alexandria VW. I don't like dealing with dealerships but this experience has changed my mind. Carlos Ayala was exceptional. He was extremely knowledgable, patient and polite. I was not pressured at any time. They gave me a great trade in price for my 12 year old Jetta which incidentally i bought at this dealership also. I got a great deal and love the car. I would recommend anyone to buy a VW but only buy it from Carlos you will not be disappointed.

I have been going to Alexandria VW for years to service my Passat. Jonah has always been fair and honest with the upkeep of our car. When it came time to trade-in the vehicle we were referred to the sales department. Ken Farris helped us find a GREAT deal on a certified Jetta. The process was quick, easy and pressure free.
