I brought my 2008 Nissan Sentra in for repair. Unfortunately, the repair was costly ( blown engine-$4000-$8000) and I couldn't get it done. The service tech suggested that I meet with a salesman to see uf perhaps I could get a new or used car. My salesman, Maulik, was awesome! He was able to get me approved for a 2016 Sentra with only 6 miles! Both tbe tech and Maulik were helpful, courteous, and persistent in getting best deal for me.

I've always driven a Nissan for their reliability and durability, and when my 2001 Sentra GXE finally reached over 200,000 miles I figured I needed to upgrade. I fell in love with the 2016 Nissan Murano SLE and going into this dealership after reading all the reviews, I'd hope for a fair price and good experience. I'm surprised to say I've got both! Surprised because normally one might expect having to haggle and deal with the relentless back and forth negotiations etc., but my experience with salesman Fernando Chacon, I can honestly say I didn't have to. Walking into the showroom, I didn't get swarmed and was actually able to look and read up on all the floor models and was only approached by Fernando when it looked like I was ready to ask questions. We discussed the Murano and the Rogue and thankfully he had full knowledge of both and gave me the pros/cons of each vehicle. I was thoroughly impressed by his honesty and opinions of both models. He never encouraged me either way or "played up" one model over another, so I genuinely felt that he was looking out for my needs and affordability. We test drove both models and then discussed pricing. Ultimately I ended purchasing my first choice which was the Murano. I never looked back! I told Fernando that I would definitely refer friends and family to him. This was the best experience I ever had when shopping for a new vehicle. You won't find any buyers remorse dealing with him.

Cars: Fun to drive, terrible to buy. The whole process is miserable and long and nerve-wracking. I hate it. Wife hates it. The dog at home hates it (I don't know why. He just does). No one looks forward to buying a car. It's like the dentist. Maybe worse. But this wasn't my experience with Armando and the Nissan dealership. Whatever the opposite of going to the dentist is, that was how this went. He was friendly, patient (My wife was with me. Patience was necessary). He was knowledgeable. If he hated us, he didn't make it obvioushe was great! And what's best, he was accommodating. We went in with limits to what we could afford and he worked closely with us to make sure we were happy and that he wouldn't be fired over the final price he gave us. We had a great all around experience. Thanks Armando for not making us feel like a pair of jerks and for beating last month's root canal!

I live in Indiana. I found a car at Al Piemonte Nissan about 3 1/2 hours away, during an on line search. I contacted a salesman, Juan Carlos Alas, to ask him if he would take pictures of the car and send them to me. Carlos help me out right away. We worked out the details of the purchase and I was able to secure the vehicle with a deposit since I could not come pick up the car for a couple days. The car was everything I was told it was at a great price. Al Piemonte Nissan processed the paperwork quickly and we were on our way with our daughter's first car. Buying from Al Piemonte Nissan and working with Carlos was a great experience.

I went to this dealership to buy my car first brand new car. A little Black Nissan Sentara, I ended up going back to trade in my vehicle for a Nissan Rouge. He was a phenomenal Sales Representative. I originally went in for service on my 2013 Nissan Sentra. In August it would have made a year that I had the car so I was interested in either trading in or refinancing my car. Then I was introduced to Erik. He showed me some new cars and right away the 2016 Black Nissan Sentra caught my eye right away. We then walked back to give my information to run my credit. It was bad news. My payment for the new car would of been 100 dollars more than what I was already paying so I told him to forget about it. Salesman Kamil was very nice and not pushy at all. I had pulled up in your lot basically to kill time and just "look" around. Made my self clear and he was accepting of that. He showed me around and told me I can look at what ever I wanted and surely can test drive if I wanted too. He had full knowledge of your cars and totally impressed me. I did test drive a couple of your vehicles to the point, I wanted a vehicle off your lot! I had a hard time trying to decide on color and between 2 styles I wanted. Hard choices.. Lol. I recently purchased a 2013 VW beetle from Al Piemonte. Overall the transaction was good with one issue that I would consider pretty major. The Sales person Hector was very nice to deal with. I did not purchase it the day that I test drove it and he was low pressure and contacted me at a normal frequency to see how I was doing with my shopping process. Leon the internet sales person who I initially spoke with did contact me a bit too much after the fact but was very nice and courteous. Once I decided I wanted the car the buying process was on par with any other. Now to the issue, I decided on the car and signed all the forms. They presented me with one key to the car. I asked where the other key was and was told that there was only one key. Who sells a car with one key? I traded a car that was 10 years old and still had both keys. It would have cost the dealer little to ensure that the car left with 2 keys. Now I have to spend $300 at VW to get a second key for the car. It is a proximity key so it has to be done special. I also emailed the sales manager Anthony in regards to this and never received a response. So if you think you may purchase a used car from this dealer I would recommend Hector but make sure you ask if the car has 2 keys. Seems like something you shouldn't have to ask. Ive learned my very expensive lesson.

I stopped by with my wife planning to buy a Nissan Rogue, after a test drive and vehicle inspection we decided that we were buying the truck. Everything was going smooth and we reach a price on truck but the only thing that went wrong is that they didn't have the color my wife wanted. They offer to get the truck for us by Monday and we agreed. We gave a deposit for the truck and Monday we went back to get our new truck and to our surprise our sales guy told us that they had not been able to get truck. I asked for my money back and they just gave me all kinds of excuses for me not to get my money. Sales rep made me come back Tuesday to pick up my money and they were still trying to convince me to buy a truck from them even though they didn't have a truck for me to buy. They made me waste my time and gas.

Avoid these guys like the plague. They are all about cutting corners.Bought a certified pre-owned vehicle from them a few weeks ago. The sheen that they put on the tires during the certified pre-owned inspection have now worn off, and it is evident that the tires are rotten. Rather than fix the problem, they tried accusing me of foul play (I must have put rotten tires on the car). I was also told that I should have bought a new car if I wanted to avoid getting tires with rot on them by a sales manager..classy guy. After learning that I was planning on buying another car and it would not be from Al Piemonte Nissan. They told me that they would cover 50% of the cost of replacing the rotten tires. They told me that they would call me with a time and day to bring in my car. This was on a Weds and I am writing this review on a Sunday.At least 3 managers were aware of the situation described above. If you want great service before AND after they get your money, go elsewhere. These guys are amateurs that love to cut corners.

I was told in order to be in and out in a timely manner I needed to make an appointment on a weekday. I did so. I had an appt for 1pm. I arrived.. checked in with the guy. He at that point informed me it would be 2-3 hours. xxx! For an oil change??? He told me they were really backed up and nothing they could do but they would wash my car. I then left. The guy called me and told me my car was done after 1 1/2 hours. I got there and paid the cashier. When I went outside to get my car I waited 15 additional minutes to find out my car wasn't done. In the 3 hours they had my car all they managed to do was change my oil. Who the F works there that it takes them 3 hours to change an oil. I am so angry. This is the second time I have gone and still the xxxx service is the only thing consistent besides the unbelievable wait. I will never step foot back in there.

What a surprise! I had problems no doubt getting a warranty repair done as reported 7/25 on this site. However Chris, the Service Manager stepped up big time and got it completed in just a couple days. He was apologetic and professional and promised to get it done fast, correctly and completely. He delivered. I had a good buying experience when I first purchased the car there and have religiously brought it there for service. After dealing with Chris in this situation I will continue to do so. No business is perfect. The true test of quality is how a company reacts when things go wrong. Chris and Al Piemonte passed the test.

BEST CAR EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! I first came into the dealer in 2013. I was greeted by a man named Mario. He was very rude and inconsiderate because I had bad credit. I completely gave up on the car buying experience. My sister purchased a vehicle from Jon Edwards and said to give him a shot. I was very skeptical due to my past experience. Jon was the best!!!!! He treated me the best!!! I will refer any one that I can to him. Keep up the good work Jon!!!!!

I searched for a month for a car and made a couple visits here, and dealt with Julia Safonov every time. She does not know anything about the cars she is selling, and she even hit a car with a car I was test driving. If you tell her you're not there to buy and just to test drive, she gets extremely offended and almost pushes you out the door. I almost bought a 2011 Sentra from here, but I got a better deal on a new Chevy from a much friendlier and more competent dealership. If you do decide to come here, hopefully you'll have better luck with a different sales rep. She told me she hasn't been in sales for very long, and it shows. This is the second worst dealership I visited during my search.

Had transmission problems twice almost stranded hours from home on two separate occasions. Would not address problem without approval from Nissan. Finally got OK a to order a part after second problem 3 hours outside of Chicago. That was June 26th, for some reason part could not be shipped until 7-1-14, nobody could tell me where it was coming from. Call to Service had to leave voice mail because no one answers on morning of 7-18-14 went unanswered that day, Saturday the 19th, and Monday the 21st. Called back again on 7-22 and told part still had not shipped, that's 21 days after it was supposed to and 31 days after I had originally come in for Service. On 7-25 still not shipped, again no one knows why its not shipped or where it's coming from. Asked for managers, neither the service nor the dealer manager could be found. Just want the car fixed so I can get rid of it with a clear conscience, something that this dealer obviously cannot have.

When I started looking for a new car I ventured into this dealer after visiting two competitors. I'd done some research and wanted to see first hand the quality of their products and different models. At this stage I just wanted to browse and had done so at the competitors lots without being bothered. The minute I walked through the gauntlet of salesmen congregating outside, I was approached by a sales person who was extremely pushy. He clamped onto me like a honey badger in a beehive and I couldn't shake him off of me. After being badgered, I finally agreed to a test drive, but was far off from making any type of commitment without seeing competitors products. He was the worst salesperson that I dealt with, and I visited over 10 dealerships before deciding on a purchase. I was in disbelief when he started reading me information off of the vehicles tickets. I can read myself thank you very much. He asked some pretty bizarro questions like what did I think about him as a person etc. Not much. He then committed the most egregious error of them all by asking "is anyone else going to be involved in the decision making process." I'm a single woman and was extremely offended by this question. At this juncture any contemplated sale was finished, finito and kaputski! NEVER ASK A WOMAN THIS QUESTION. Better training is needed for salesmen at this facility insofar as approaching and interacting with women customers.

I went in dreading the whole "car buying experience", but luckily I had a great salesman (Sebastian). We knew exactly what we wanted to pay and he worked to get us the car that fit. What's even better is Olympia in finance was just as personable and surprised me with a lower interest rate and payment. I would recommend this place! Thank you.

Having heard about how overpriced Al Piemonte's dealerships are, I decided to take a look at the Nissan Dealership in Melrose Park. It was the worst experience I have ever had at a car dealership. The salesman was horrible and would not even consider negotiating the price of the vehicle. The car I was looking at was listed $3,000 OVER Blue Book, and when I showed him the fair purchase price, he just pushed it away and said that he needs to make a profit from this car. He valued my trade-in at just $250! When asked about why he would not budge on his price which was substantially above Blue Book, he simply said "that is the price." He did not go to a sales manager or to any other associate to ask about it. I made an offer to buy the car right then and there, and he would not even walk over to a manager to see if it could be approved. He just flat out refused my offer. Then, as I was leaving, he offered to take another $100 off of the car, which was the final insult before I left the dealer. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this place.

My wife and I recently visited a second time to purchase a 2013 Nissan Sentra SR model. We test drove a car that was a Demo and was not cleaned yet, but was on the lot to sell. After the drive we felt very certain that we wanted to purchase a version of this car. We wanted to have the dealer locate a SR with a sunroof in a Blue color, Peter the rep told us that Blue is NOT offered in Illinois. We also started talking numbers on a black version and when I asked to see the dealer invoice, I was told that they don't have an invoice and only work from the MSRP price. I insisted on seeing a dealer invoice, and SURPRISE, the Sales Manager found one. We started to discuss prices and wisely stopped for the day as was past closing time. Thus visit was on June 30th, it seemed that we were being pressured to buy even though we wanted to wait for July incentives to be offered. Prior to reconsidering a second visit, I searched for the Nissan Sentra SR online and found one at Woodfield Nissan. I called and arranged to visit and determined that I was lied to and the car in Blue is offered in Illinois. Due to these 2 lies from the Al Piemonte Nissan rep, we decided to make a purchase from Woodfield Nissan and could not be more pleased with our treatment. We also realized that the sticker MSRP on the Nissan seen at the Al Piemonte dealer was supposed to have been changed as Nissan had lowered the prices in mid-season. We were able to buy the car for $4000 less than the Al Piemonte price due to this sticker price difference. BE AWARE AND ALERT IF YOU CHOOSE THE VISIT THIS AL PIEMONTE NISSAN.

I went to check out a used maxima. It looked super clean in the photos but when I arrived the car was filthy! Don't expect to leave without a fight. They did all they could to get me to buy that car. My test drive consisted of going around the block. Really?

You have to negotiate with these guys but in the end they gave me the best deal . Bought a beautiful slightly used 2013 Infiniti from them for a great price. Some of the infiniti dealerships were snobby so I ended up on cars.com to see if other dealers had the vehicle I wanted(m37 x). Al Piemonte Nissan had exactly what I wanted and they were willing to price the vehicle to sell ASAP. I would go back and deal with these guys in a heartbeat. Very pleased with my purchase.

As a mother of five kids, back in 2011, I purchased a used Chevy Aveo. I love the bright yellow car. I was not satisfied with the sales person Jeff. My credit score wasn't the best and I was only looking to pay a car payment less than $250. I knew this would be hard but not impossible. I wasn't told what finance company financed me, the extended warranty that I was told would cover problems with my car like the fuse box, horn, motor to mirror were all not covered. Customer service is only good in higher management. I'm not rich, in fact I'm poor, I still feel everyone deserves to be treated fair and with respect. Now if you are buying new, I heard they roll the red carpet out.

I was told that I would have my 2nd oil change for free. I called a few days before to make sure it was in the system, when I got there it turned out I was lied to, not only was the free oil change not in the system, i had to pay for regular oil not synthetic and when I wanted to confront the sales guy that sold me the car, he was in hiding and the manager also wasn't in for the day.

We found a 2005 Nissan Murano on Cars.com mobile app. We visited them on Friday, talked with Daniel Ramirez, their salesman, gave them our information, and they handled everything for us Saturday morning. All we did was come back in on Saturday and sign some paperwork, and the car was ours. Great service, great price, very knowledgeable, and very helpful. I recommend this dealership and Daniel Ramirez is and excellent salesman. Thank you again.

I was looking for a used Nissan Ultima. I contacted the internet department and set up an appointment. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was informative, had my selection prepared and was able to answer all my questions. This was the easiest purchase process I have ever gone through. I would highly recommend them!

I went in for an oil change that was long overdue and came in an hour before closing. I initially bought my car from the chevy store in dundee from the Al Piemonte dealership but the Nissan store was closer to my job in melrose park. I thought that it was going to take a while thats why I prolonged my oil change for so long but it was actually really fast. As soon as I came in I was greeted and asked what I came in for. I said I just needed a simple oil change and sat in the waiting area for about 15-20 min and my car was ready. That was the fastest oil change I have ever received and the price wasn't bad either only $25 and they topped off everything like I had asked and checked my tires as well. Couldn't ask for better service. I will definitely be getting my oil change from the Nissan store again.

Sales rep was rude and rediculously pushy. Im a woman, and I felt like a little disrespected and it was in general a very demeaninf experienced. I was spoken to as if i had NO idea what i was looking for/ talking about when on the contrary i did my research for a good few weeks before i went car shopping. This dealership was very overprices and they assumed they'd impress me with rediculous features that meant nothing to me. Had absolutely no interest in meeting my needs other than making a sale. im glad i left and went to a different Nissan dealership where the experience was completely the opposite!

Extremely expensive yet unprofessional repair service. You'll have few new problems after they fix the one you came with. Be aware - even if you don't want to fix your car there, they'll charge you $130 "for diagnostics". Stay away!

On a monday morning i went online to this dealers web site to schedule service (oil change). I would have been a new customer. The web page did not allow appts to be scheduled. Instead, a email arrived indicating I would be contacted to schedule the service. I attempted to get through to service by phone during posted service hrs but got voice mail. Two days later I was contacted by phone to schedule the service. By then I had already had the service done by another dealership. I am a busy professional that runs on a clock. Waiting with uncertainty is bad business. Suffice it to say they lost a new customer and potential buyer as my wife and I are shopping for a vehicle for our college age son.

I purchased a 2011 Nissan Armada Platinum from AP's used car division. As a Canadian resident I have imported several vehicles over the years with very good experiences. I called to secure the deal for the Armada I saw online, and settled on full asking price. Since the vehicle only had 2500 miles on it I was not concerned over the condition and I was assured it was as new. All was going well until they ha my payment. Once the payment was sent, I had an experienced Canadian dealership handle the import. The local dealership sent clear instruction and arranged a transport truck. AP Nissan did not forward the title as instructed, which ended up costing me over $100 in storage fees for the delay until the title arrived. Upon reciept of the vehicle I was dissappointed to find the vehicle had not been cleaned for the sale and the gas tank was on empty. Also, one of the key fobs was missing. I contacted my sales rep and asked for a very reasonable $200 to cover my losses and frustrations - and offered a positive review based on that. I was passed off to a manager, who never replied - even after threat of a bad review of their service. In summary, I guess the really didn't care once the vehicle was off their lot. Very rarely in my busy life do I have the time to write any kind of review. For this one, I felt my story should be shared. Buyer beware.

My friend bought a nice VW Passat for a decent price. However, when we got there they jump started it. They told us something had been left on. The whole time they had us leave the car running. Turns out the battery was the original (9 years old) was not holding a charge. My friend had to get a new battery the next day. It was only $130 or so but it just felt like they were covering it up. I called them a few days later and told them what happened and they did not seem concerned. Everything else was fine but that did not sit with me well.

I was looking for a used BMW, something special. It had to have low mileage, great condition, and some eye appeal. I was a little cautious shopping out of state, but finding something suitable in Maine was difficult, as most cars up here and salt damage of some degree, so I looked elsewhere. When I saw the car on their website it looked just like the one I wanted. Nervous about purchasing a car from out of state, my salesman Michael Batchelder put my fears to rest, promptly emailing me me the vehicle history, and assuring me the vehicle was in excellent condition. Coupled with the fact the price was more than reasonable I went a head with the purchase. Over all and outstanding experience, easy, up front, friendly service from the dealership as a whole, but especially from Michael who was true to his word on every account. Will definitely be doing business there again in the future. My out of state purchase went more smoothly then ones I have made locally, even buying sight un-seen.

I have my Versa serviced here. It's an expensive LOF if you don't use the coupons. It's fast though, which is good because the waiting room is pretty uncomfortable, hard wooden chairs and an old TV. It's kind of hard to get into and out of the service area, and the proximity of the North Ave frontage road makes it hard to manuver in general. But it's physical location is nice, on the corner or North and Mannheim.
