Just wasted an hour of my life because if this place. They gave us a business card for Toyota on Central and told us to take our vehicle to their body shop in Toledo. We drove all the way there from Maumee while getting stuck in construction traffic. We finally arrive and Toyota on Central then tells us that we have to take the vehicle to Sylvania, because that's where the body shop is. We ran out of time and had to drive back home to Maumee. Why did Toyota in Maumee send us to Toledo, when they should have told us to go to Sylvania in the first place?

I've driven a Toyota since 1992 but in the last few years, mainly due to the service received at a different dealer's service department, I had decided my 2010 Prius would be my last. I was very pleasantly surprised by the level of service I received at Yark, however. Adam was easy to reach and returned calls promptly with updates on my car and what the technician was doing to diagnose and fix the problem. Adam and his coworkers have so much personality, too! They were all very friendly and seemed like they enjoyed working there.

his past week my husband picked me up from work, drove across the street, & stopped into Yark to take a look at a low-mileage Toyota RAV 4 he had found on-line. John V helped us, answered our questions, & set us up for a test drive. The RAV was everything I was looking for, and even though it was near closing time, Vince stayed late to complete the paperwork and explain all the warranties. John & Vince both walked us to the door, just like you would do for a good friend. I returned the next day to finalize the financial details and John met me at the door. He took care of a small turn-signal issue while, this time, Tyrone was the go-to guy, putting off his lunch to complete the final paperwork. Vince popped in to say hello & followed through with me while I waited a few minutes for John to get the temporary plate on my new/used car. Everyone we met at Yark from start to finish was warm, friendly, helpful, willing to go above & beyond (John even helped me set up the blue tooth feature for my phone). They made this a great experience and because they are located across from my place of employment, it will be very easy to stop in for a car wash every now & then. Great Neighbors, Great Dealership!! (Side Note - I noticed that my Glass City Marathon Relay Medal has Yark Subaru on it - a perfect example of this wonderful community-minded business.)

My experience from the time I walked in until the time I picked up my car were top notch. Bradly was the service person that took care of my transaction. He was well spoken and informative. He took the time to call my dealership in Mississippi to get all my information. Upon doing so he was able to tell me that my car was due for the tires to be rotated with the oil change. While my car was there it was also washed and ready in the time I was told it would be. When all was complete Bradly called me and told me my car was ready for pick up. Since I was on vacation and visiting Ohio I am very much appreciative of the care and professionalism I and my car were given. All service and repairs were done at no cost to me and covered under my extended warranty. Yes, I would highly recommend Yark Toyota to my family and friends it that area. Great service , Thank you Bradly.

I truly have no complaints about my experience at Yark Toyota Scion in Maumee OH. My sales advirsor Tavon was top notch. He was genuinely polite, helpful, and informative. He was at ease the entire time and our interactions were very comfortable and natural, he always opened doors and assisted me if needed. Every test drive he told me to take my time, had the cars pulled up and ready for me. When I decided to purchase both he and their finance advisor (Simon or Vince, cant remember) were SUPER helpful and clear, got me to the price and payment plan i wanted! 10/10 would recommend, they even took care of a recall and an issue with the side mirrors for me! Thank you Yark, I love my car!

This was my first time coming to the dealership in general. I came there to test drive a few options and had planned on going to several others dealers. I never got past this one. I was greeted instantly upon arrival by the Sales Consultant that worked with me the whole time. Chris Dupree was very thoughtful of my budget as well as my likes and dislikes. He and the other staff worked hard to find me exactly what I wanted. This was one of the most pleasant and simple car shopping experiences that I have had. It was stress free and I felt like the dealership really listened and cared about me as a person, not just a customer. I would highly recommend Yark Toyota Scion to anyone who doesn't want to be pressured into a purchase and who is looking for a relaxing shopping experience.

I had the best car buying experience with Yark! Thank you, Terry for being so gracious and facilitating my experience! I am a MI resident and this was the first time I purchased a vehicle out-of-state. From the moment I called to inquire about a vehicle I found on cars.com, I felt at ease about working with a dealership out-of-state. Yark has a no pressure, family friendly environment. They gave me a competitive offer on my trade-in and the whole experience took less than 2 hours! I paid close attention to the other sales associates and the customers while Terry took care of everything. Everyone was friendly, smiled, greeted me and made me feel welcome. It sounds like they've got repeat customers because they treat their customers so well. Shane made financing my vehicle very easy and got me a better rate than my bank (3.8%)! My only regret is that I live in MI so I can't go to them for oil changes/routine maintenance. But I will definitely tell family and friends it's worth the 1 hour drive to Yark! I'm loving my Highlander!!! Thank you, Terry, Shane and Yark Toyota!

We have a Toyota Previa van that we brought in last month for diagnostic services and possible repair. After diagnostics were compete I was called by a women named carmel who briefly described the problem as the auxiliary drive shaft and that I would need a new one at the price of $2400.00. I kindly asked to talk with the mechanic who did the diagnostics, and if not available now could he call me when he has a moment. She then became instantly rude and said why whats your question? Although I didn't feel it would help to run my thoughts by her, I did. I explained that I was very familiar with the van and in most cases, unless wrecked, the shafts don't bend or break but rather need new couplings on the ends that wear out overtime. She then immediately said the whole shaft is worn out. At this point being she felt qualified to field my questions I asked her what that meant due to it never being in a wreck. She then said "your going to need a whole new drive shaft!" in a loud rude tone. I said I'm sorry but I would still like to speak with the mechanic when he is available. She then said NO..and silence. Then I said your not going to let me speak to the mechanic? Again, very nastily she said NO, he has a long line of cars to get to today and he doesn't have time to explain it to you! I told her I have never heard of not being able to touch base with the mechanic who has assessed $2400.00 worth of work to a vehicle. She then said well you cantebut if you want you can hold for service manager. I said ok and waited 10 min and then Nick answered and told me he went back and looked at the car and that only the couplings were bad and that it would be about $700.00 for parts and labor and could have parts in tomorrow. He did this all in one breath with no apology for the misdiagnosis. And I wonder how that could go misdiagnosed in the first place. So if I wouldn't of asked to speak to the service manager I would of been charged $1700.00 over??! Oh, and he also backed herup by saying they don't normally let mechanics talk to customers due to lack of social skills!! Which as far as I'm concerned also brings into question the mechanics. They kindly charged me the highest rate for the diagnostics upon pickup as well. Whole thing stinks of a dishonest operation. My recommendation would be to stay away. At least from the service department!

Called dealership for an oil change. The Yark employee on the phone scheduled me and told me that it would cost about $19.95 with fees about $23.00. When I arrived they told me it was going to cost $31.00. They said that they are aware the the people "upstairs" have bee telling people the wrong price and they have told them about the correct price. They would not adjust the price because they can't make any money at the lower $23.00. I had to get it done because of my shcedule. Looks like i got YARK'D !!!

Had an excellent experience with Yark. Terri (sales) is a great guy and will take good care of you. I enjoyed test drive. Pricing was good, staff was patient and I really appreciated the extra effort done to find me the best financing available on the market.. made a substantial difference at the end and I feel I was treated properly. Also - my car had almost no gas when I received it, and Terri went out of his way to fill my gas tank! The process is seamless and everybody seems to be working well together. Staff is trying to make your experience quick, easy and enjoyable. My only recommendation: better coffee machine! ;)

I purchase my 2012 Chevy Cruze (I know odd for a Toyota dealer) with Yark Toyota late August and it was a wonderful first car buying experience. Our sales person, Fitz, was always helpful through the process and ensured I understood my options. They even tracked down a second key for me as well as lifted the car to see the undercarriage, both of which I greatly appreciate. Byron at Rouen Toyota is the best car salesman that you will find. He was really knowledgeable about the vehicle I was purchasing, and about Toyota in general. Shopping for cars previously, I had a sales person at the other Toyota dealership in Toledo that didnt even know a thing about the car. And they had 10 of them on their lot!!! It was obvious that Byron knew about the available options on the vehicle and he explained the difference in the trim packages as well as cost. I dont know much about Rouens service department, but havent heard bad things. I got a really good deal on the vehicle that I purchased, despite a miscommunication with pricing. They had just started an easy button program that gives you an internet price and the salesmen werent really even aware of it. Definitely a miscommunication! I was disappointed Jenelle from internet sales even mentioned the college graduate program, since it specifically excludes the prius model, and she only contacted me based on me requesting pricing on a Prius vehicle. Really nothing they could do, if the vehicle isnt included then its not included. But again a miscommunication. Overall I would recommend the dealership, just ask for Byron Edwards! He really is the best car salesman I have ever worked with!

I had been looking to purchase a vehicle for about a year. Finally, I saw a car on the Rouen website that I was interested in purchasing. I made an appointment with Chris DuPree to test drive a Honda CRV but after driving it I liked it but not enough to purchase it. However, Chris already had another vehicle lined up for me to test drive... a Certified Toyota RAV4. I loved it and purchased it the same day. After researching the Hybrid market for a few months, found the perfect Certified 2011 Prius at Rouen. John Mowery was easy-going sales pro and made this comfortable and quick purchase. Drove one car, then took another home to show the Mrs. and voila! A week later, I'm loving the 58+ mpg I'm getting around town! John Mowrey helped me with the purchase of a 2011 Corolla. He was extremely helpful with the process of looking at each of the available cars, running back and forth to get more keys every time I decided to look at a different model. There was no sense of pressure during the process, and no stereotypical "used car salesman" pitches. He walked me through the entire process and was really straightforward regarding the history of the car and the figures I would be paying. Rouen gave me what I felt was a very fair trade-in value for my 2000 Corolla (it was actually within a few dollars of the estimate I had gotten for myself online the day before). John and the financing department were also really helpful with the paperwork I had to fill out - even though there were a couple of snags in the paperwork, they made sure that I drove off the lot in my new car that day, and let me fax in the one or two items that I didn't have with me. I really appreciated that. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a certified pre-owned vehicle. It was a painless process and I'm so happy with my purchase.

I recently purchased a certified pre-owned Toyota Camry from Rouen Toyota in Maumee, Ohio. I had purchased an Avalon there previously, and have always been impressed by Toyota's commitment to quality. John Mowrey met my wife and I, and he showed us around the lot. We gave him a price range and an idea of the car we wanted. I had done some research online. We were very impressed at the amount of knowledge John had about each car we looked at. I know it is his job, but he knew everything about every one of them. He explained everything and was able to answer every question we had. We were going to test drive several cars, but as soon as we drove the Camry, we knew it was right for us. Very easy process. No pressure or sense of urgency. So we went in for an oil change and planned to price new tires for our 2011 Prius II. We ended up purchasing a new 2013 Prius III and are loving it. We bought our '11 when the selection was really limited in the US, but by now we were able to get the upgraded stereo and backup camera that the III offers. Rouen has been terrific to deal with. First I want to tell you that this is my first Toyota and I couldn't be happier. I mean... what's not to like? I was looking for a "gently used" 2012 Prius and I found the one I liked at Rouen Toyota Scion. Took me close to forever to decide if I want to buy it so, the one I wanted sold... but John Mowrey helped me find one just as awesome. He's a very sweet young man, very helpful, he made the whole process easy and as smooth as possible. He also got me a fantastic deal which I simply could not resist. :) We also had a chance to work with Phil Maxfield, the business manager... At the time we got there, Phil was swamped, I really appreciated the fact that he took a minute to introduce himself and let us know how long it would take before starting the whole paper signing process. Although it was 10 pm and he'd probably been there all day, I never felt like he was hurrying us out the door. Phil took time to explain everything and helped us get whatever fits our/my needs. I already had my mind made up to buy a used Toyota Yaris or Honda Fit from another dealer but I had already told a Rouen sales rep that I would check out what used cars they had to offer. So I kept my Rouen appointment. I was still set on buying the Yaris or Fit but Rouen didn't have any available in my "cheap" price range so my sales rep (Ryan Francis) pointed me in the direction of a new (2012) Scion IQ. At first I was sceptical of price and features. But it was a neat little car with great gas mileage so we took it for a drive. My spouse and I enjoyed the handling an setup of the automobile. The back seat and trunk is extremely small but we only need the car for my wifes long drive back and forth to her new job. Other than the small size it had all of the features we needed for the rather lengthy daily commute. We were sold! I am a haggler, so we went back and forth on price and adding features until we reached an agreement after about 3 hours (not recommended). Signed the paperwork and then I noticed that the hub caps were not the ones I wanted but Ryan hooked me up with another set, a cooler looking set free of charge. I admit I paid more money than I set out to pay. My wife and I had a good shopping experience and are happy with the outcome. I am a military war vet and our sales rep Ryan Francis is a combat vet. I stronglly respect our service members that have spent time in "The Suck". Ryan was very personable and had a thorough knowledge of the vehicles features. He did a great job of steering us in the right direction.

I was in the market for a newer car and was not sure whether to buy a used car or lease a new car. After shopping around with a few dealers, I drove to Rouen to look at a used 2010 Camry. The car was very nice and would have been a great fit for me, but after to talking to Byron Edwards, I test-drove a 2012 Camry and loved the car. Rouen was having a lease special at the time, and after talking to Byron a few times and working out the logistics of my trade-in, the pieces came together and I was able to get a great car at a very good lease rate. Byron was pleasant to work with, very personable and easy to talk to - at no time did I feel pressured to make a quick decision. Erin Fry (internet sales manager) also kept in touch with me via email throughout the process and showed a great deal of interest in working to make sure I had a pleasant shopping experience.

I was so tired of being treated like garbage by the salesmen I encountered in Sandusky County. I have been researching vehicles for three years to find the best car at the best price. I saw this 2011 Scion xB at Rouen Auto and decided to check it out. Let me tell you, the men I dealt with were wonderful! My salesman was John and he was great! The manager, the other salesmen, the financial director were all so incredibly nice I couldn't believe it. And it didn't end once I signed on the dotted line. Car purchased: New 2012 Regular Prius Level 5.I tend to be VERY research oriented (some would call it "tedious") and, as such, tend to ask a lot of questions and process the purchase of a new car over a period of time. Scott Scheatzle (sales rep) and Joe _____________ (sales manager... sorry I don't remember his last name) were amazing. Over a period of 3 (plus) months, they helped me with all of my questions, allowed me numerous test drives of several different models and trim levels, directed me to non-biased websites, kept in touch with me (WITHOUT BEING OBNOXIOUS in any way), and generally made my purchase experience EXTREMELY PLEASANT! When I finally made up my mind, I did so with clarity/confidence and felt really good about the whole experience. Mr. Scheatzle was (at the beginning of my purchase trek) new on the job. He didn't always (immediately) know the answers to my questions, but was ALWAYS willing to find answers. One of my concerns/questions was about the cost of Prius maintenance over the years. Scott went to the Service Manager and returned with a number of printed pages that detailed the maintenance costs over the first 100,000 miles of ownership. I would recommend him VERY highly and hope that many, many people will look him up at Rouen Toyota in Maumee, Ohio. Additionally, I hope he plans on selling cars for a long time at Rouen and look forward to dealing with him again in the future. Scott, Joe, and Phil (finance/paperwork expert) did a lot of work (and stayed after closing time) to make the purchase numbers and paper business work out the way I needed them to be in order to close the deal. They got me the right numbers for my trade and made other options (extended warranty, paint/fabric protection, etc.) come in at prices which made the deal click.I can only hope that the Rouen service experience will match or exceed the sales experience. If it does (and I have no reason to believe otherwise), this will be an outstanding car purchasing experience.

Rouen tried to sell us a van as having been "certified" as having everything check out. The tires and alignment were way off. Either they never drove the van or they did drive it but are incompetent since the tires/alignment problem is obvious. (Or they did drive it but didn't care about the customer.) When we called them about this, they never called back.

My auto purchase went fairly smooth. My salesman was Doug Amstutz and he did a fabulous job very up front and honest about the purchase. I am satisfied with my purchase. My only complaint is I was at the dealership for almost five hours, they need to work on getting people out the door quicker than 4-1/2 hours. I understand it takes time to do certain things but I felt this was a bit excessive.

I was looking to purchase a used car after my current car became beyond economical repair. In order to find the best deal, I was willing to go some distance. As a result, I spoke to a lot of dealerships over the phone. Many dealerships I called were underwhelming due to lack of customer focus, the lack lack of ability to address my questions, and the lack of timely responses. However, this was not the case with Rouen Toyota. I was immediately impressed with their customer service, their ability to address my questions and their quick replies. Because I was impressed with the dealership and was confident because of the quality of their customer service/buying process, I went ahead and purchased the vehicle from 10 hours away without visiting the facility prior to beginning the purchase...not to mention they had an unbeatable price on the vehicle, too! Byron was great throughout the purchasing process. He was easily available over the phone to answer my questions during the sale and paperwork process, and he would always quickly follow up. Once I picked up the car, he took time to show all the features of the car and make sure all my questions were answered. All in all, a wonderful experience that is definitely worth at least a 10 hour drive! It is hard to find a car with an unbeatable price and a wonderful, customer-focused dealership. I found both in Rouen Toyota. I would recommend Byron and Rouen Toyota to my family and friends.

2 for 2 = AWESOME!!! I had purchased a pre-owned minivan some years ago from this very dealership and it remains a pleasantly memorable experience. It has also proven to be a great quality buy! This time around, in looking to buy another vehicle, I re-visited Rouen because of my previous experience. My "salesman" - Doug Amstutz - went farther than what I expected in April 2012. I thought I knew what I was looking for in a used car, as I was very specific as to what I needed, what I liked, what I didn't, and what I thought I could afford. Along with a very competent and courteous team, Doug's knowledge proved beyond helpful in helping me to find the BEST fit for me and my family WITHOUT pressure, aggressive persistance, or assumptions - he understood a purchase of this size needs to be the "right" decision!It took a little time for Doug to find MY 2010 Dodge Journey, but it was sooooo worth the wait. He did not limit my choices to the dealership listings that were available in current inventory; rather he kept in mind what was important to me and would let me know as soon as he had something that might interest me.
