We have been looking for a new vehicle for over 2 months now. My husband and I have test drove so many used SUV s I've lost count. We finally settled on a Honda CRV. We want a "Certified" used Honda so we have been looking for the best deal on a Certified Honda. We notice that Winter Haven Honda SEEMED to have the best prices for "Certified pre-owned Honda CRVs. Saturday, October 29, 2016 my husband and I drove 2 hours from Sarasota to Winter Haven Honda. We did find a used CRV that drove great. However, the interior was very dirty. There were shoe prints on the headliner. All the seats were very dirty. The armrest on both front seats were coated with dirt. The sun visor on the drivers side looked as if someone had melted chocolate on there fingers and there were brown fingerprints on the sun visor and on the headliner by the sun visor. The seats were so dirty I was afraid they were stained and not dirty. I told the salesman my complaints about the cleanliness of the inside of the car and he said that it had been "Pristine" at one time and that someone must have used the vehicle since it had been detailed. I asked at the time if I decided to purchase the vehicle would it be detailed and I was assured it would be. We drove home and later that evening we decided to go back the next day and purchase the CRV we test drove. I called the dealership that evening and told them we would be returning the next day to purchase the vehicle so I requested for the vehicle to be detailed ahead of time. I was assured it would be. The next morning, Sunday October 30, 2016, I called Winter Haven Honda AGAIN to confirm that my husband and I would be there to purchased the vehicle and I asked again to make sure the inside of the vehicle was detailed. We arrived at Winter Haven Honda around 3;30 and the inside of the vehicle had not been touched. I was very upset to say the least. The salesman asked what it was about the inside of the vehicle I was concerned about and I told him to just go sit in the vehicle. He did and immediately saw what I was talking about. He said he would send the vehicle back through detail. This time all that was done to the inside was someone wiped some of the shoe stains off the headliner. The salesman said "No offense but it is a used car". I told him that I'm sure some people would feel that $18,000.00 was nothing but to me it was a lot of money and I didn't think it was too much to ask for the vehicle to be clean. I have driven several used cars and that was the first time I had ever complained about the cleanliness of the inside of a car. It has now been a week and NOONE has called to apologize for the lack of professionalism and substandard quality of customer service. I am still looking for a used Certified pre-owned Honda CRV and I see a lot of them at Winter Haven Honda but I will not be making that trip again. If they cant take the time to spend an hour to properly detail the inside of a vehicle for $18,000.00 then business must be good. Also I would not trust the quality of their Certified pre-owned vehicles since it seems they have lower standards than other Honda dealers we've been to.

After going to 3 different honda dealerships in Florida, my husband and I finally walked into winterhaven honda. Right away we could tell the difference. Everyone was friendly and outgoing. I knew the exact model I wanted, a AWD Honda crv, which is hard to find in Florida. They had 2! Our salesman was Steve. He greeted us right away and was so genuine. We test drove both cars, as we were test driving, Steve was so friendly. It was like talking to one of our friends, joking laughing the whole time. We finally landed on what car we wanted. We got down to business. They helped us with financing because I was not qualified through my bank for the amount of the car. We got approved with one of their lenders. Now it was closing time. No one rushed us! We went to Jason, the finance manager and he was so thorough and quick. We drove off the lot happy. I am telling you if you want a friendly, personable car buying experience, go here!!

I went to several dealerships before going to Winterhaven Honda both times I went there. The dealerships I went to did not work with me on the deal I needed, so I went to Winterhaven Honda. I purchased first a 2012 Honda CRV then recently I've purchased 20 17 Honda Accord. I will say this, they went above and beyond to get me the deal I needed the vehicle I wanted and the service above anyone else I've ever worked with. My first sales guy was Jacob and my second one on the 2017 was Luis Ortega. Both these gentlemen made the process easy and comfortable, which are 2 words that are rarely used in a dealership visit(my experience). Thank you winter haven Honda for having a team of professional staff working with the peaople, from sales personnel to finance and signature of final documents.

We researched used Honda Civics on the internet & found a Honda Certified 2014 Honda Civic EX at this dealership for a reasonable price. We are located 2 hours away from the dealership so we called prior to making the drive to make sure the car had what we wanted on it. We were assured this was a good clean car & were told to look at the AutoCheck report (no accidents, no damage reported). So, with checkbook in hand ready to purchase the vehicle, we drove the 2 hours. Mike Horst brought the car around & was telling us about some of its features before we took it for a test-drive when my husband noticed dings on the trunk area. We began looking & realized there were dents all over the car from hail damage. Mike apologized profusely and acted truly shocked stating that he had no idea the car was damaged (REALLY????) I find it impossible to believe this car was taken as a trade-in, Honda Certified & NO ONE noticed 50-60 dents from hail damage. Buyer beware - STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER!!!

The experience I had at Winter Haven Honda was a very positive, and quick one! I let Jason aka "Happy" know in advance that I wanted to get in and out, and lower my payments as much as possible. Once I arrived, there were 2 Accords sitting at the front door, and all of the paperwork was ready for me. All I had to do was choose my color, and sign. Went on a Sunday after Thanksgiving in 2011 to get some prices thinking they would not be open, to our surprise they were. Was looking into a Used Fit, and got a GREAT deal on it. Seven months later I got in a really bad accident; driving on I4 during a rainy day someone hit my backend and spun me off the road into a treeline, I walked away with the only bruising. Went back and got a New 2012 Fit Sport and Love it too this day. My mother in law than went in the next year and traded in her car (HRR 2009) for a New Fit Spot 2013, she still loves her Fit. When I go in and get the car Serviced and Jacob is there, we talk and he is so nice. Never pushy, always honest and extremely helpful. Now I'm going to trade in my Fit (2012) for a newer model or for a different model. Jacob knows my family, and has always done right by us. He ALWAYS makes time for us, and if he is out on a day we call he ALWAYS gets back to us in a VERY timely manor. He is what I compare all my interactions with "car" sales people. Be to be honest I do not consider him the "typical" car sales person, because of his integrity, honesty and way he treats us more like extended family and friends. It is NEVER a chore or hassle, but the most enjoyable experience working with him.

He did an excellent job easing my concerns regarding bringing it back to the shop (wasn't easy), and will repair Tuesday. I want to assume that all will go as he states so I will give them five stars, and update should there be any issues.

I contacted Mike Davis about a vehicle that I found online, and we were able to work out a fair deal remotely, which also included my trade in. We drove up to pick up our SUV in the evening, arriving only a little while before the dealership closed. Mike had all the paper work completed, and the vehicle ready for our inspection. It's condition was as he had described it over the phone, and everything went smoothly. Mike and the Finance Manager, Sky Behrens, stayed late to finalize the purchase and deliver the SUV. I traded an my wife's 2006 Honda Odyssey for a 2011 Odyssey that had just come in and was still being inspected. After ridiculous negotiations, we agreed to a deal. Once I went to Finance, after waiting about 90 minutes after we agreed on a price, they tacked on another 85.00 for some document fees. I almost walked at that point just because of the constant lies and the attitude of Jacob the finance guy. We picked the vehicle up 2 days later and the luggage racks were missing and they slapped some flat molding on the roof. I asked my salesman about the roof racks and he informed me that no one new what happened to them. I told him that they needed to find some and put them on ASAP. I then had my wife get in the car and check all the lights and noticed the rear center brake light was out and my Salesman Ryan stated it would be a 24 hour turnaround for a 3 dollar light bulb because they don't keep them in stock. I live an hour away, I'm not coming back for a light bulb. We finally just drove off in our new (used ) van with 60,000 miles on it. It took me 18 phone calls to the dealership to get one returned call from Mike (Ryan's partner) Luggage rack issue was turned over to GSM John Tyler who assured me a call and he never did. Finally got all issues resolved after wasting 8 hours of my day on my day off.

I want to give a big shout out to Winter Haven Honda. Valrico residents Winter Haven is not that far to drive! I went there this past weekend, I didnt realize how upside the Honda dealership on Brandon Blvd had me in my 2007 Honda CRV, when I realized that , the deal was going south and I got a little emotional. Well thats when the team at Winter Haven Honda went into action. Mike Lopez went to his GM and said we have to help her. They worked the deal with me and gave me more than I expected. Unlike some dealers where you get to the finance office and things change a bit, you all know what Im talking about, but not here. Straight forward a better rate and a lower payment than I expected. I purchased a used 2013 Honda civic at another dealership on 8/17/15 and by 8/21/15 I had a brand new 2015 Honda civic. The other dealership did not fully explain all the figures on the used 2013 civic .When I got home the next day I was reviewing the figures and found out that I was paying too much on the final price of this used vehicle. On Thursday 8/20 15 I was looking at television and saw an ad for new Hondas. I called up winter haven Honda and spoke to a nice salesman. On Friday 8/21/15 I got a GREAT DEAL which I am very pleased with and now I am driving a brand new civic.

The Winter Haven Honda team is amazing! I drove over an hour to purchase my SUV from this dealership and after buying my car from them, I would have driven longer. This place was that great! I have never had a good car buying experience until yesterday. The team was honest and respectful of my time. I will never buy a car anywhere else. Matt Lewis and John Tyler were amazing.Matt knows everything and anything about Hondas. David Hepler and Jacob Hood made buying my 2014 Honda Accord Coupe and 2015 Honda Pilot fast, simple and painless. Not only did they provided the best price, they provided an estimate for my trade prior to me arriving at the dealership. I live approximately 60 miles away from the dealership with plenty of Honda dealers in between. Even with the drive they are my preferred Honda dealer. Add in an hour drive time each way and I still can buy a car and get home quicker thank I can at any local dealer. I was in and out of the dealership in less than one hour! The second of 5 dealers I visited was WHH, and I had made internet contact with Jason "Happy" Hardman (probably way too many times from his perspective). Pressure? None. Willingness to do what it took to satisfy my vehicular and financial requirements? Absolutely! A great buying experience? Yup. I was even able to contact Jason by text from other dealerships. He knew his deal could not be beat, but he also knew I was determined to check out other places. My vehicle is not a Honda, but it was taken care of and prepared for delivery like it was, and that was important to me. I have been loyal to one brand of vehicle and one dealer for years. I'm a pain in the xx buyer. Jason and WHH really broke me, and I would buy from them again, new or pre owned. There was no sales pitch, no pressure, and when you know as a dealer that you have the best at the best price, you don't need those attributes.

I went to the dealership on Saturday, 11/29/14 just to test drive a 2015 Honda Accord Sport. I wasn't planning on making a purchase that day. My husband and I went for a test drive with salesman Eric Chastain. Long story short, it was love at first test drive. We talked and I told him when I decided to buy a new car I would be trading in my 11 year old car. I told Eric the price range I was looking to stay in and he went to work. I had emailed Mike Lopez, Internet Manager earlier in the week and told him I was interested in coming in for a test drive. Eric and Mike talked and came back with a fair price for my trade and an even better price for the 2015 Honda Accord Sport I wanted to buy. I couldn't pass up such a great deal! I was nervous about buying a new car as my last car buying experience was horrible!! Eric was very personable, honest, and patient with me. He answered every question I asked and made me feel like I was a person and not just another sale. Sky Behrens, Finance Manager was wonderful. She had our financing paperwork ready to sign so we could leave with my new car that night. Before we had signed all the paperwork, Eric had my new car detailed and had taken it to fill it up with gas. After he came back he gave me an overview of how everything worked in my new car and helped me set up and pair my iPhone via Bluetooth to my stereo. We arrived at the dealership around 4 pm and we were out the door with my new car and eating dinner at a restaurant down the road at 6:30 pm. If you are looking for a new car make the trip to Winter Haven Honda and see Eric Chastain. You'll be happy you did. Just a side note, I live in Lakeland; 5 minutes away from a Honda dealership. I drove the additional miles to Winter Haven Honda and I'm so glad I did. Thank you again Eric, Mike, and Sky. I love my new Honda!!

I live in Jacksonville and saw online that this dealership had the exact car I wanted in their new car inventory. I called the dealership for an internet quote to see if they would match the best local quote I had (but not for the color combinations that I wanted) They matched the quote and gave me a reasonable estimate range for my trade. So I drove 170 miles to the dealer to do the deal. Everything went extremely smoothly, they honored the quoted pricing with no tricks or gimmicks, and even hit the midpoint on my trade in range. My salesman was Dave Hepler and he was absolutely fantastic to work with. Dave honored or exceeded every commitment made and is a genuine good guy. Definitely recommend this dealership.

I recently purchased a used Acura from this dealership and as part of the deal a few of the minor cosmetic issues were going to be fixed. After the deal was done, I also noticed the tire pressure light was on, I was assured that air had been put in the tire and the sensor would reset itself and turn off. After a week of the light coming on and off sporadically and checking the tire pressure, it was apparent the sensor was bad and needed to be replaced. I scheduled a time to bring the vehicle in and the repairs (both cosmetic and mechanical) to be completed. I was told be there at 9am on a wednesday, so I arrived at 8:45am and did not leave until almost 10:30am as the person I was working with didn't come in until 9:45am, so why I was told to be there at 9am is beyond me. I had to re-explain my story multiple times as it was not communicated to the staff that was there even though I had scheduled this previously. I also made it very clear that the sensor was a priority and needed to be fixed. I was given a loaner car to drive, I live and work an hour and a half away, and told my car would be ready on the following Monday, so less than a week. At this point I have missed a half a day at work and driven 3 hours round trip, in the dirtiest rental car I have ever been in, which I also had to spend money putting fuel in because I was given the car when it was almost on E. Monday morning comes and I was told my car was ready to picked up and assured the issues had been fixed. I leave work early to make the drive in time before the person I was dealing with left for the day. As I enter the city of Winter Haven limits I received a phone call letting me know my car was in fact not ready.... At this point I'm enraged. I have yet again wasted time and money for nothing. The sensor which I had made clear from the beginning, needed to be ordered. I was told the service center looked at it and didn't see any issues, then when it was to be moved, the light came back on.... Which leads me to believe that the mechanics did NOT look at it, they simply turned the car on saw the light was off and moved on. The service manager then re-looked at the car and indeed the sensor was bad and needed to be replaced, just as I stated from the beginning. Furthermore, I called multiple times and left multiple voice-mails for a manager to call me and never heard anything back. By far this has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever received. Today, Thursday over a week later, I finally have my car back. The only good experience is that my car was delivered to me in St. Petersburg and I did not have to make another trip. None the less I am disgusted with the my experience and would never recommend anyone do business here. I was told my car would be given back to me with a full tank of gas, it was not. I was also told my car would be thoroughly detailed, it's not. I was completely taken advantage of, and I could not more disappointed. I was not once apologized to or offered any compensation of any sort for all my wasted time and hassle. Truly terrible customer service.

I decided to buy a car, and someone told me to check out truecar.com. I filled out the information and got the quotes. Both quotes that came back were dealerships that were over an hour from my house. I was able to get in touch with "Happy" the next day and he said that we could work together in a No Hassle type of way. I shared with him what my trade in vehicle was and... I received the same response- no hassles. So, he then asked me when I was thinking about buying a car. It was Friday, and I said, I had thought about going on Sunday. He told me he was off on Sunday, and asked if I was able to come in that day. WH Honda is 1 1/2 hours from my house. I had the flexibility to go out, and I didn't want to have to deal with someone else and "start over."He was off at 5pm, and I wasn't able to get out there until 6pm. He happily stayed after work and didn't make me rush or pressured me as we selected and finalized the paperwork for my new car. He was very professional, easy to work with and really made my experience a great one. I definitely recommend Winter Haven Honda!I was also impressed that Management called to follow up with me AFTER my purchase.

I would like to comment about the positive experience I had when purchasing a new car from Winter Haven Honda a few months ago. The dealership's staff (Robert Shiver and Jacob Wood) were very knowledgeable and friendly from my initial contact with them to closing of the deal. The transaction was drawn up and presented to me without a high pressure sales pitch, which is a quality that I find distasteful at car dealerships. A few days after driving the car home. I received a call from Jacob to inquire as to whether I had any questions about the vehicle and to make sure I was happy with it.During a recent visit to the dealership for an oil change, service advisor Dave Pasquale was very courteous and kept me frequently posted on the progress of my vehicle while I waited in the customer lounge. Within a couple of days, I received a follow-up call from the dealership to ask if I was satisfied with the service I'd received. Overall, I have had a very positive customer experience with Winter Haven Honda and its staff, and I would not hesitate to recommend this dealership to family and friends. In fact....I have!I love my Honda Pilot! Thank you, Winter Haven Honda!

I can't believe a Honda dealership ripped me off this badly. I was promised a "Q-Certified" car with a warranty that would "cover any problems." The car turned out to have a bad transmission and the paint is now falling off. Also, the brakes had to be replaced, the rear control arms had to be replaced, the front control arm bushings had to be replaced, the battery cable had to be replaced, the driver's door is a different shade than the rest of the car, a hidden burn hole in the driver's seat was discovered, the car pulls to one side and the dealer refused to fix all of it except the battery cable and control arm bushings and both of those took an argument to achieve. I have also witnessed them doing bait and switch on a Honda fit. One salesman told me the best way to buy a Civic from them is to lease it because they "jack the price up on the used Civics to make a huge profit." Not to mention they add an average of $1,500 market price adjustment to almost every MSRP on the lot. This is the worst experience we have ever encountered with any car dealership. I would just say stay away. They sometimes seem friendly until they make the sale and then it is a complete 180 becoming rude, disagreeable and refusing to fix problems even under warranty.

I was buying a Jeep to pull behind my RV. I stated to both John (sales Manager) and Chris (salesman) I needed it to pull smoothly behind my RV. John had a jeep exactly like the one I was buying and never told me at higher speeds the big tires are more unstable.They both told me they just put new bigger tires on the jeep. It was at the end of the day so my test drive was only up and down the road immediately in front of the dealership at 45mph. Once I left the dealership and got on I-4 the vehicle became very unstable at higher speeds. I called the dealership immediately the next day to share the problem but they really didn't care, the deal was done. I asked for the stock tires they took off of it but they would only SELL them to me. They wanted another $500 for these tires!! If I didn't share with them how I was using the vehicle I could possibly understand but John knew my use for it and owning a Jeep himself how would he not know how it would handle with big tires.?! Buyer beware!! You can not trust these people!! Also watch out, when you sit down to sign they have a $199 processing fee plus a $699 dealer fee. Do not trust these people. Buyer beware

The Service Man told me my wiper blades were cracked. FACT: I just bought my blades there less than a month ago..........HE wrote down I needed an alignment. FACT: He did not put it on the machine to test it. Sears aligned the car less than 1000 miles ago........ .He told me I needed a transmission flush. I asked him why it was so expense. He said, 10 quarts of fluids had to be flushed and replaced with Honda fluids. FACT: My Honda holds less than 4 quarts of transmission fluids......... The tread on my rear tires were marked the same. FACT: The left rear tire is new and right rear tire is 3yrs old...... . The Service Man said my front brakes showed 5 and my rear brakes were at 3 and the rear brakes should be replaced at once. Since, he had not been honest. I took my Honda to two Auto shops in Sebring. FACT. Sears and Hays Auto Service reported that my brakes were good for many more miles. I understand that cars need the fluids flushed but having a little tube kit of different types of fluids on his desk and proceeds point to the difference between good oil and old oil was an insult. I was there today looking for a car with my father. The dealers didn't even seem to care and proceeded to insult both us and our intelligence. One said, and I quote, "Now you know, you maybe won't get the car at that price. You need to have a veeery high credit score and some money down," as if he were speaking to a mental patient. My father may be an immigrant but it's disrespectful to assume 1)he doesn't have the money or credit score for a car and 2) he can't comprehend the basics of American economy or the english language. After we had made an offer (a reasonable few hundred dollars short of their advertised price at their location), we received no counter offer whatsoever, and instead received a "Really?! What do you want me to do with this?! No!" from the manager. We immediately took our business elsewhere.
