Of the few Associates I encountered a couple of them were rude and didn't seem interested in helping and the others were very helpful. The cars that they were supposed to have they didn't have anymore they said that cars.com didn't take them off the website once they were sold, I wonder if they told them they were sold so that cars.com could take them off the website. Also the few they did still have from the website they said weren't running.

I was in Western Avenue Nissan looking for a car for my daughter. The Sales Manager Brenda Watts made my visit very pleasant and enjoyable. I didn't know what kind of car to get for a 16 year old so I was a bit overwhelmed, but Brenda helped to calm my anxiety. She was very knowledgeable about every car I was interested in and was very very patient. I did not buy a car at that time, however because of Brenda and the outstanding customer service she provided, my daughters first car will definitely be purchased from Western Avenue Nissan.

I went to purchase a 2008 Jeep Patriot my appointment was on a Saturday at 11 am.. I got there the person I was supposed to see She was unavailable... and the vehicle was not there.. So I left no purchase.. No vehicle they couldn't help me.

I went in to this location to purchase a car I saw online. First I was told they would show me the car, then 20 minutes later I was told the car was in the shop and not available. I was very sceptical about this but still took a walk through the lot. I was shown cars that were very much out of my price range and after explaining my price range, etc... they kept trying to push a more expensive car. I ended up walking out after 45 minutes without a car or even a chance of getting the car I want. I would recommend that if you want a car from them, DO NOT go off ads on internet and get ready to feel pressure to spend a LOT of money! And also, do NOT rely on emails because they are never responded to and even phone calls are not returned!

Spoke with dealership and was told sorry if not given you will need to purchase a set which would cost about $70.. Don't see why the customer should have to pay for something. That should have been included with purchase or even told..

Sales Staff RATING 3-STARS - My experience with the sales staff was good. My salesman was Julian and he was able to get me into the car that I sought. I am rating Julian with a 3 and not a 4 or 5 because prior to my signing of the bill of sale on my 2013 Nissan Maxima, I brought up with Julian that I wanted to ensure that I would be getting 2 key fobs with the purchase of this certified Nissan Maxima. Julian said Im sure we have it somewhere in the back, Im sure we will be able to locate it for you. After I purchased the car, all of a sudden I was left to purchase the key fob. Julian graciously walked me over to the service center where I found out that I was left to pay for the key fob which is about $350 on my own. Now I am a pretty reasonable guy, I dont expect to get anything for free that I should not get. Dont you think that a certified Nissan Maxima with 12,300 miles, (Like New) should come with 2 keys? Am I asking for too much? Transparency means a lot to me, especially for repeat business and referral of family members and friend. If there is no trust in any relationship, you could kiss it good bye. On another note, I asked Julian to fax me the Purchase Order to get the Credit Union to process the loan, he kept faxing me the price without the dealership header which is not valid. I had to literally drive about 50 miles just to get the purchase order. Then a sales tactic about someone trying to buy the car was employed, which was a bit aggravating, especially since I took a picture of the check and texted Julian with it. While Julian pulled out all the stops to ensure I got into the vehicle of my choice, my overall experience with Julian declined from a 5 to a 3 for the key fob issue and unnecessary drive to secure the PO. Used Car / Finance Manager RATING 1 STAR At Western Ave Nissan, there is a lady who acts as the used car manager and the finance manager. She came across as very aggressive and had a [dont even ask] attitude when I tried to negotiate or ask any questions. She did not want to budge on the price at all. To be fair, the internet price was a good deal so I didnt make a big deal out of it. In addition, I told both her and Julian that my credit union was going to finance the car at a 2.75% rate and I asked before they ran my credit if they could match or beat it. The lady ran it and came back with a declined offer from Nissan Finance for 5.5%. I gave them the ok to run my credit one more time with Chase, [dumb move] and Chase declined at 6.5%. I quickly saw where this was going and nipped it in the bud. My credit union got me the loan for the amount mentioned above. Moral of the story, try a credit union before going in, you will save yourself time and frustration. If you attempt to negotiate, just know that you wont get too far. It is best to understand the value of the car you are buying, what the market value is, then monitor and wait for the internet price to arrive. Thats the best approach when buying a used car from this dealership. Mileage on the car This might not be such a major deal to some people, but trust and transparency is important. The car was listed online with about just over 11k in mileage. Upon driving off the lot, the Car had just over 12k in mileage. One of the managers was driving the car daily. After I got home and reviewed my purchase order, the PO had the lower mileage listed on the website at just over 11k. That was not the current mileage and it was false reporting to the DMV as well. My fair overall rating would be a 3. Constructive feedback for Western Ave Sales and Managers. Be honest. If you cannot grant a customer a key fob, dont say you can to secure the business then leave the customer out to hang and dry. Managers, smile, even if you dont get the finance part of the business, truly act like you care about the customers purchase and that you are actually happy to be there.

Made an attempt to purchase a vehicle on cars.com...Found a car that I liked...Made an inquiry of said vehicle,asking if car was still available...Price of car $1,000 more than what was listed...Informed salesman that I was coming from another city, and, plan on either cash, or my own bank financing...salesman replied cash is OK, but documentation will not be provided for out of state financing...I opted out on the cash issue, and my credit union would not issue check without a purchasing order...Lost my air fair, forced to cancel flight...Another salesman called left message that everything is OK..Lets setup another meeting vie e-mail...Loan manager called by phone requesting an invoice, or Purchasing order just to verify the company existence, and car...

When we walked in the door the sales rep Sam welcomed us in with a smile of joy. He displayed patience, understanding of our situation, and attentiveness. He made the purchasing experience a pleasure instead of a headache. When we returned later to give documents it was very busy but Jerome took time out to assist us. He had 3 customers closing out but he came out of his office reviewed our documents and gave us new documents along with good news, our payment had went down. One thing I was worried about was being a female and walking in a dealership. Not knowing much of cars was an issue. I was approached by a salesman name Sam Garay He made this experience so much easier. He was very knowledgable of his inventory and had a lot of patients. Sam took his time and listened to what I wanted rather than what I noticed other dealers wanting to sell me. It was a great experience. Ask for Sam.

Only giving 1 star because I can't give Zero. Looking back, I would do it all differently and this place would not have my money. I searched online, found a nice used vehicle. Came from out of town for a business trip and decided I would trade in my older car, for more of a family vehicle. Spoke with Kino at western and told him we would need to send our title as we weren't planning on buying a vehicle while out here. After speaking with the manager, Booker, we agreed on a price. My vehicle got a low amount, their reason being an "extensive amount of work to sell it." Ok, I know it needs some work, so I did it. Booker told me, "20 minutes and we will get you out of here." Hour and 20 minutes later, I'm upset cause I have to get to a meeting in the city, and let them know before doing all the work what time I needed out. They didn't care. Finally, Dave, another manager comes over and said that I would need to pay what they were going to pay for my car until they get the title for it. Seriously? Ended up I didn't pay it. Told them I would send as soon as I get back home, which I did. Got a call from Dave, asking for the title, which they already had and signed for. Now, I'm trying to get my title for the car I bought from them and of course they won't return my call or email. Also, the vehicle I bought, I have to put $3100 into to get working properly. Dave said I can bring it back. I live 6hrs away. Worst experience ever buying a vehicle. STAY AWAY!!!!!

Put in inquiry regarding a used car and immediately I received an email saying that someone will be getting back.... and they did. First, with an email then with a follow up call. They left a message and then called and called and finally got me. I made an appointment for following day and customer service rep made me promise to show. I work nights but made it my point to get up early so that the vehicle would not be sold because I thought it was a great deal. The next morning - EARLY- I received a reminder call only to followed with a text message confirming the appointment. I arrived on time only to be told that the car was not there- if ever. Then the salesman told me that if it was, I would need to tow it. WHAT????!!!! He fessed up to say that many times the cars are not available on the websites only to get you to come in to buy something else. Although I am a Nissan loyalist- NEVER from this dealership!

I was interested in a car advertised online. After making an appointment and repeated calla to ensure my appointment, I went to my appointment and had to wait over 40 min for them to retrieve the vehicle. First off, if they knew I was coming. ..why does it take them 40 min to find it. After that, they come back to tell me the car won't stay on. I drove 45 min for them to give me crap service. Worst service ever....I would give it 0 stars

Very unprofessional salesmen.Online practice is very dishonest,they don't have cars they advertise for cheap,its to get you down there.Example,the pathfinder they are advertisingSTAY for $700 does not exist,i was looking at this car for my son back in july and they are still advertising this vehicle to get you to come into the dealership to try and sell you something else.They are still advertising this car that was not there four months ago!

When I put the car in reverse its starts backing up then it feels like I have the emergency brake on which didn't . I called the dealership and talk to a manager on duty, explained to him what was going on with the vehicle I just purchase. He kept saying it don't sound like a transmission problem. I told him I just purchase the vehicle this is to soon for something major to go wrong with the vehicle already . He suggest that we take it to a shop close to my house and to let him know what the mechanic said. We took it to the transmission shop the next day the mechanic took it on a test drive. The mechanic said he tried to back it up a hill and couldn't . He said to leave it with him for a day and he will let me know what is going on . The mechanic said the transmission is going bad. He said the first gear is binding with reverse. He gave me a estimate on how much it would cost to get fix. I told him let me call the dealership back so I can let them know what is going on. I called the dealership the same day and explained everything to the manager on duty that I have been dealing with . He keep saying that it don't sound like a transmission problem . He said to make sure your emergency brake is not on check to see if there is any thing on the dash board indicating the transmission is the problem. I told him emergency brake is off and there is nothing lit on dash board .he suggest we bring it to the dealership so he can have one of guys look at it. We took the vehicle to the dealership on 6/26/14,. The manager on duty said he will have one of his guys take it to the transmission shop later on that day and we should hear from him on Monday . We called the dealership and the manager on duty stated he haven't heard anything from transmission shop. They are very busy and we should hear something by Tuesday. Tuesday afternoon we call again and they say the manager I was dealing with was off. We call on Wednesday and spoke with manager on duty he said he haven't heard from the trans shop and to be patient and we should fine out something tomorrow . My husband said he has been patient . So we decided to give the dealership a call again . The manager on duty said the shop is very busy and they haven't look at your vehicle yet . My husband said you have had the vehicle for week now and that we should of heard something buy now. He kept saying the place is very busy and we take all our vehicle there. My husband told him we will go the the transmission shop to pick up the vehicle on 7/3/14. He went to the trans shop and talk to the mechanic there. They said the manager at the dealership just drop your vehicle off on Tuesday which is 7/1/14 and told them the car won't drive forward . My husband explained everything to the mechanic what the car the doing . Mechanic put the vehicle in reverse it would not move. He said transmission is bad and we will call the dealership first thing Monday morning. Come Monday we called and spoke with manager we been dealing with and explained to him what the mechanic said . He said I thought you were picking the vehicle up, my husband told him the mechanic suggest we leave it there and they will let you know what is going on with the trans. He stated he haven't heard anything from the trans shop . That he is waiting on there phone call. My husband call the trans shop and spoke with the lady at the desk and explained to her what the dealership

Went in to test drive two used cars. The salesman had trouble finding the cars and my friend and I waited around for quite some time before he located them. The first car we drove had some brake issues, which wasn't necessarily a deal breaker, however there was also a sombrero and a garden shovel in the car. Weird, yes? Anyhow, I was not pleased with the 'sales pitch' nor was I impressed with the first car. The second car I drove was a nice ride and was super clean. Too bad the first one, which I made my impressions of the dealership on, was nothing to write home about. I think we were there about two hours. The salesman was friendly enough but I wasn't impressed.

What I appreciated is that I found a car on the net and when I called they said that the car was there. In the past I have found cars on the net and when I called they claimed the car was there and it wasn't and tried to sale me something that I wasn't interested in and something I couldn't even afford. They (Western Avenue Nissan) didn't pressure me to buy other vehicles either. I appreciate it.

My husband and I drove 2 1/2 hrs to check out a vehicle and it wasn't even show ready. The place was really busy and very disorganized. The salesmen were very nice and seemed professional but the rest of the place was just chaotic. The vehicle did have an accident on the carfax report but the there was a deep scratch in a different spot on the car that was not in the pictures online. We waited for hours (we were there a total of at least 6 hours) and often didn't know what we were waiting around for. To top it off, I received an email two days after we bought the car asking if I'd like to schedule a test drive for the car I had just bought! If it wasn't the exact vehicle I wanted for the exact price i wanted to pay then we wouldn't have stuck around. If it's not the vehicle you have to have then I'd take my business elsewhere if I were you... to somewhere with better service.

After doing extensive research online for a used car, I walked into this dealership with information on four vehicles I wanted to test drive. The salesman greeted me and I told him what I was interested in. He went out to the lot to get the first vehicle. After 15 minutes he returned to tell me that the vehicle was completely out of gas. He said a porter could go fill the tank if I waited inside. The gas station was only a mile away so it wouldn't take long. 20 minutes later the porter and vehicle returned. The salesman went outside to talk with the porter. After a few minutes I went outside because I was ready to test drive and was tired of waiting. We got into the vehicle and the salesman informed me that the reason it took the porter so long is because he had to jump start the vehicle three times. I was weary but still wanted to test drive. That never happened because as I was reversing the vehicle, it died. I was a little upset but I also had three other vehicles I was interested in at this dealership. I went inside while the salesman went to retrieve the next vehicle. Another 20 minutes later the salesman comes back to tell me that while the vehicle is still available, it is parked in by other cars and it would take him a while to get it out. By this point I was ready to leave. I told him that I'd come back in a few days if he could have the vehicles ready for test drives. He agreed and asked me to call him a day before so he knew I was still interested and wouldn't "leave him hanging." I called and spoke to him on Monday morning and he confirmed verbally. I told him I'd be there at 10am the next morning. So, the next morning I arrived at 9:50am and didn't see any of the vehicles ready for a test drive. I walked in and was greeted by the salesman. We sat and talked for a few minutes and he informed me that the vehicles would be ready soon. Since I'd arrived earlier than expected, I was okay with waiting for a few minutes. Around 10am he excused himself and put on his coat to go see what the hold up was. At 10:10 I was still sitting there. At 10:20 I was still sitting there. At 10:25 I got up and left. Perhaps it was because I was in the market for a used vehicle or perhaps the salesman didn't want to make a sale. What ever the reasoning, I will never return to or recommend this dealership.

wanted to buy a Nissan frontier they said they had the truck on late Saturday and confirmed it with a rare Sunday chat session she said yes its in stock called early Monday before sales hours started and had them check stock they said it was already sold ? cannot believe they sold it before the sales department opened they play games here don't trust them if you are going to travel any distance they basically lied ??/

I bought my Armada last year from here and got a really good deal. I just love it but one thing; I wish I would have gotten the 4X4. The car is amazing but the snow in the winter is a lot for any car to handle. My wife and I came back to see what kind of deal we could get on trading it for one with 4 wheel drive. I knew I was going to take a hit on it but I wasnt too sure on how much. I met with my old salesmen and explained the situation. He looked around for what they had on the lot and spoke to a Mgr. It was in our luck that they had a demo Armada in the back that just got out of recon. It was only 6 months old and had about 4k on it. We were able to trade ours for that one and only pay a small amount in difference and its a year newer. If you want to be taken care of Western Ave Nissan is the place.

So I was referred to this facility by a guest where I work and he told me to speak with tina who he said was the general manager he told me that he had emailed her and informed her that I would be visiting and that she would take care of me I said ok fine so i did my research and found the car I wanted which was a 2006 gray chevy cobalt with about 130000 on and it was $4000 total so I called to speak with tina and never was never able to speak with her but I guess I got her assistant who seemed nice after that she sat up with an appointment to come in on 8/9/13 at 11 am so when I got there I decided i wanted to walk around the building and the facility to at least make sure that the car i wanted was there so I walked around twice and not only did I not see the car I looked at other cars which some had dents, others had stuff in them such as lottery tickets, hair brushes, and even a sox hat in one of them, they were all dirty even the new rogues looked extremely unclean so I then decided to walk into the building ( FIRST MISTAKE) and I spoke with a gentleman who the first thing he wanted to do was run my credit I saw no because if the car I want is not even here thats not even necessary for you to do he then went and spoke with someone who told him the car was gone and he came back to me and said the car was still there he then told me hey lets walk around and go see it so I decided to go walk around with him and go see if I see it ( SECOND MISTAKE ) so we walk around the car lot that i had already walked around twice and he told me that hey its in the inventory but i dont see it out here the next thing he did was said find another which i said ok fine let me look (THIRD MISTAKE) so I saw a black 08 chevy impala which didnt look that bad but it had no price tag on it and it was dirty it had lottery tickets in and had bird poop on the window he told me not to worry about it he said o we can clean that up I walked in with him and he said ok how much can you put down I told him that I had spoke with Brenda watts who was Tina's assistant and she had given me specific instructions on what to do with out telling me the price of the car he told me I would have to make 400 to 450 a month payments I was like how do you know that if you dont know how much the car cost after all that I was like forget this place man I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy I will never ever return to this place and informed every i knew who was in the markey for this car to stay away from it if you are smart STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE and a fun fact the car is still on the website today 8/11/13 after I went there and saw that the car was not there brenda told me she would investigate yesterday and still has yet to call me back SAVE YOUR MONEY STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE PLEASE

My current lease was up with my Toyota and I wasnt dissatisfied with the car but I did know that I didnt want another one. I was looking around for a car and the Nissan Maxima really got my attention. I read up on it and it had great reviews. I went to Western Ave Nissan and took a look around. The Sales men were not pushy at all and answered all of my questions. The following day I went again and went for a test drive, I really enjoyed the ride. It was almost as if driving the car was effortless. When we arrived back to the dealership all the options came up, do I want to lease or buy. In the past I have leased and it works for me. I went with the lease option again. Only this time they also gave me a service plan which I have never received before. I really enjoy the car and the buying experience that Western Ave Nissan gave me. Whether they like it or not I have joined the Nissan family.

I went to the dealership and I liked a car....finalized the deal with them the next day..then confirmed that i could go ahead with the bank processing.......when the bank called up the dealer....he says that he already sold to some other customer who offered a higher price!!!!!!! I mean, then why did they commit me?????????? Or if they wanted the deposit, why didn't they ask me for that??? They talked to me as if i had the car.....I will never go there again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My experience with this dealership was great. Jerry was my sales person and treated me very well, giving me the time that I needed to decide on a vehicle and start the process. I have bad credit and had a trade in, they worked with me all the way. We were there for hours and I was the last customer of the night, but they still took their time to ensure I was comfortable with the vehicle and knew the features available. I plan on trading in another vehicle at the end of the year and I'm definitely going there.

Please don't go to this dealership, especially their service department. From the service department manager, Randy to the other people working there, they show no respect for a customer. I had been using NorthShore Nissan in Highland Park for a couple of years with excellent service until I had to move to the South side of Chicago for work, so I decided to take may car to them. I took it in with something wrong with the heating system. As at the time I did it was covered by my extended warranty, but due to the sloppiness of the Western Avenue Nissan Service center ( they will promise to call but will never call. You call them and they never answer or say the person you are looking for is not available. Ths went on for over six month). My car went put of warranty and further faults developed from the original problem. I will be taking legal action against them. This could have been a good place to take your car to but the people running the place are so unprofessional and untrustworthy. If you just want a new car or want to repair your car, ind other dealership. Avoid these people except they change their customer service and professionalism. My two cents

I have been taking my Nissan's for service in Niles IL., Berman Star Nissan, for a long time, because I was very satisfied with the service I received. Now that I'm currently residing on the Southside of Chicago, driving down Western Avenue going North, passing 71st street I spotted Western Nissan sign. My Altima was due for regular 3,000 miles service so I drove into service area and was greeted by service representative. He was very polite welcomed me with a smile. I mentioned to him what I was there for. He understood what needed to be done. The timing and work done on my car was well done. That was my first time bringing my car there for service. I was very satisfied and from that moment on I have been taking my car to Western Nissan for regular service. Now, I have upgraded my Altima from 2010 to 2013. The sales representative, who approached me was very understanding in explaining what advantages in upgrading my car, took me for test drive in a 2013 Altima. I was comparing quality of customer service, Berman Star Nissan and Western Nissan. I have to give it to you Western Nissan, you rank up there with the best. I am very satisfied with your service. Truly, you treat your customers with courtesy, respect and like a friend.

When I arrived at the dealership, I was expecting the regular pushy salesmen you usually get at dealerships. But no! The staff there were very professional and helpful. At no point did I feel pushed. No one was rude. The customer service was absolutely EXCELLENT! They knew exactly what I was looking for, were very informative on the different types of cars and answered all my questions very thoroughly. They all worked very well with all my needs. I drove 3 hours and was lied too! I did the credit app on Friday confirmed with them and they told me I was approved and even confirmed with the same lady Saturday before I started the drive! Got there to find out they just do a pre approval credit app and then they do a full blown one! I was assured that I wiyld be driving home with a car ! Nope that didn't happen! Rhonda ignored me when another couple came in because my credit was not perfect and asked me why I wanted an old car I didn't think a 2006 was old. She had me sit there for 1.5 hours until I got up to see what was going on she ignored me again! So I talked with one of sales managers! I will hasn't got to look or test drive a car because they finally said they had sent my stuff to different lenders. It didn't know the amount and wouldn't know until Monday! They lie and shady and rude! I wasted a tank of gas for promises that we're a ploy to get me to derive and beware all the used cars are in the back lot and you can't even test drive them! I wasted 2.5 hrs to be treated like crap and came home carless!

This dealership called numerous times a day asking me when I would come and see the vehicle I was desperate to get rid of the car. They called an hour BEFORE my appointment to tell me I had missed my appointment. They assured me that nothing was wrong with the vehicle and when I arrived, the vehicle's outside mirror was broken off and hanging with wires everywhere and a dent and crack in the side of the car. This car did NOT have any of this in the pictures online so I am not sure if they took pictures of a different car or what. The salesperson stated the defects had most likely happened when parking the car! Not sure how all that happens when parking a car unless you are parking at 50 miles an hour drunk. I had driven over 2 hours to see a car that was completely in different shape than they had told me and shown me online. I will never go back there again.
