I've been looking for a very specific build of an X3, I called before going and I was helped by Chris Lara. He really took the initiative to help me get the car I wanted. I was able to place an order and I should have my new car early next year, I appreciated his professionalism and patience. This would be my first new car and my first time ordering one, he took his time and explained thoroughly how the process went and made me feel comfortable; I can't wait for it to come. I'm glad I decided to call this place, I've read a lot of reviews and so far they are backing up all the great reviews about them!

After visiting every BMW dealership in the South Bay and being disappointed by both the quotes and the service, I decided to go out of my way to Berkeley because Stan Caldwell quoted me the best deal via email. Upon entering the showroom at Weatherford at my appointment time, Stan showed up right away, did not keep me waiting. I already knew which vehicle I wanted, so Stan locked it down and we started to talk numbers. He was straightforward and honest, showing me his computer screen and allowing me to pull all the different levers of a lease deal to get to the number I wanted. He did not try to crunch numbers in a black box or have behind-the-door conversations with his manager. Instead, Stan just simply offered all of the discounts that he could and showed me all of the calculations in his quoting software. In my experience, Stan's humility is hard to find at a BMW dealership - unfortunate for such a reputable brand, but fortunate for Stan's customers.In the end, I walked away with the deal of the century - a price point that was MUCH lower than what Stevens Creek, Mountain View, San Mateo, and SF quoted, and one that Fremont wasn't willing to match, for the same model. Since it was Black Friday, they also threw in a $400 GoPro Hero 5 Black and an Amex gift card. The only negative aspect of my experience at Weatherford was my meeting with the finance manager, who was the gatekeeper to my paperwork. She tried to sell me wear and tear protection packages (similar to a LDW at rental car companies), which I did not want, and looked visibly upset after I declined her offer. What was supposed to be a 20 min meeting to wrap up the lease turned into an hour-long conversation about why I should buy the protection packages. It was a joy to do business with Stan. At the South Bay dealerships, I was frequently ignored as I walked in. Since they are located in relatively affluent areas, cars fly off the lot and salespeople have no interest in helping an undecided customer. In contrast, Stan treated me as a valued customer. He showed a desire to earn my business, being responsive over email and attentive in person. I look forward to doing business with him again in the future, but hopefully with a different finance manager.If you are looking to get a BMW in the SF Bay Area, you will not find better service or prices than at Weatherford. Something that Weatherford understands but the other BMW dealerships don't: look at customer LTV. Don't focus on selling the product; instead, focus on building the relationship - this will yield far greater returns in the long term.

Most of the reviews here are based on a one-time transaction a new buyer had with the dealer. If one actually had to go through an on-going issue, don't expect BMW Weatherford to follow through with any promises that they make. I too had an initial great experience. When an issue came up, BMW Weatherford first refused to deal with the issue, then when appropriately reasoned with based on principal and good business practices, BMW Weatherford offered to meet in the middle to rectify the situation (they did NOT meet my full expectations, but I also decided to meet them halfway), I conceded and took them up on their offer but it's been months (I think I've been more than patient) and their offer has YET to come to fruition. Still waiting... SO they have not even met me halfway. Do NOT expect Weatherford to keep any promises they make to you. I was foolish to think that this dealership was different from others, but alas car dealerships are the worst.In addition, I almost forgot about this part of the sales experience, Eleni from finance is pretty rude. She assumed I was lying about my master's degree when I was misinformed about the directions to getting the loan approved. (Of course, I was able to prove I had my diploma and eventually got the loan approved) but her tone made it sound like I was trying to hide the fact that I had a diploma. Pretty offensive.

We went to Weatherford not really planning to buy, we were just getting some info and then we drove the i3 for the first time. We honestly did not think this car would be a fun drive but we were absolutely mistaken, this thing scoots! We had the pleasure with working with Chris Lara, he kept the conversations informative and upbeat! After talking everything into consideration it was an easy decision, so long gas stations for now!

we had an excellent experience with ron freitag. i contacted several dealerships by phone and was fortunate to have ron be the contact person at weatherford; he was the only person who took my phone contact seriously. my wife wanted a manual transmission so it was a special order but he never tried to talk us into something "on the lot," he basically said no problem, give me the exact configuration and we will get it for you. the price was far better than offers from two local dealers, we had to travel to berkeley twice but he picked us up at the train station, and made the entire process as simple and painless as possible. i have bought many cars over the years and the process was easily the most efficient and pleasant that i have experienced

I've always wanted a BMW, I've had my own business for a while and now it's time to treat myself. My son and I went to Weatherford, our salesperson; Chris Lara was really helpful. He showed us their indoor car showroom and it was amazing, I couldn't help myself and I was looking all over the place! I have been planning to buy my first BMW for some time now, I was referred by a friend to come check out Weatherford. My wife and I were helped by Chris Lara, he did everything he could to get us a great deal on the car we wanted. First place I visited only place I visited. They were really into service there. The people there were very friendly and Ron Freytag really knows his stuff. I consider myself a car guy and he matched my knowledge gear for gear. That's what made the 328i perfect. The perfect balance between power and MPGs. Loving it so far.

It took him about a month to find us a car, it was perfect because in the meantime our insurance worked out the messy details of our old car! Chris Phan is the man. He is professional, helpful, polite, efficient and knows his stuff. It was a complete hassle free experience. I called to ask about a car. He responded in about half an hour. I asked if certain terms can be met. He responded in about 15 minutes saying that he'll check.10 minutes later he emailed back and said it was ok.I drove to Weatherford, sat there with him for 30 minutes and done. He also personally took care of a small issue with the car 2 weeks after it was sold. highly recommended.

We've had a Subaru many years but I recently changed jobs and I'm commuting a lot more and it's not fun sitting in traffic driving a manual! Chris Lara was the sales person who helped us, he asked a lot of questions to help us find the right car for us. Unfortunately we couldn't find one that met our current needs, nevertheless we are in no rush and are looking forward to buying one from Weatherford in the near future.

This review is specifically about Sherry Lee, Loaner Car Coordinator at Weatherford BMW. Sherry, in a word, is AWESOME! Her customer service is top-notch. Always has a smile on when I see her. I have used the Mobility Program three times. I own an i3 electric car. For longer trips I utilize the Mobility Program at Weatherford BMW. Each time the experience is better than the last. Sherry is the reason why. She seems to have a 6th sense when it comes to matching us with a loaner vehicle. Checking in and out is painless. Thanks Sherry! Can't wait for my next loaner car.

It's great to know that you can go to a dealership and get the information and not get rushed out of there if your not buying a car. I've been doing some homework abs in debating between BMW and an Audi, they both are great looking cars but I needed done information that the internet couldn't provide. Chris Lara was the client advisor who showed me a few choices, I can tell he was passionate about the brand in his presentation; being that he currently drives a 3 series and has owned a couple in the past. He left a big impression on me, the biggest being that driving a BMW is about the experience and the feeling you get when driving one, I have to go check out Audi next I'm not sure what to expect; but it has some stiff competition!

omWhen you look up the definition of excellent customer service, they should just provide you with a link to Kevin Thomas at Weatherford BMW! I knew exactly which BMW 328i I wanted and how much I was willing to pay each month. Unfortunately, my champaign taste did not match my Bud Light budget. Somehow Kevin was able to to get creative with the numbers so that I could drive off with the car I wanted. This was no easy feat and required Kevin and his managers to really work hard to satisfy this longterm customer. I'm already looking forward to working with Kevin to do another lease when this lease is over. I know that Kevin Thomas and Weatherford BMW will ce through again. When you look up the definition of excellent customer service, they should just provide you with a link to Kevin Thomas at Weatherford BMW! I knew exactly which BMW 328i I wanted and how much I was willing to pay each month. Unfortunately, my champaign taste did not match my Bud Light budget. Somehow Kevin was able to to get creative with the numbers so that I could drive off with the car I wanted. This was no easy feat and required Kevin and his managers to really work hard to satisfy this longterm customer. I'm already looking forward to working with Kevin to do another lease when this lease is over. I know that Kevin Thomas and Weatherford BMW will come through again. Weatherford BMW is not my first choice in mind when I started my search for a M235i, but Stan is no doubt the most easy going and helpful sales manager I even know. He was able to let me review every detail information of a CPO M235i on line and we are able to reach a deal by just sending emails. Get this, I've done extensive price research online and I can confidently say that it's a exceptional deal. The test drive and purchasing process is easy and fast. All terms are fully explained and transparent. They even have a genius staff to go over all features of the car for me. Maybe this a standard when buying a luxury car but I can't deny that I actually enjoy the whole experience. This is the dealership and sales manager I would recommend to anyone.

It's our first BMW purchase and we inquired about the 328i online. Stan Caldwell responded very quickly and gave us a few quotes. We narrowed it down to two vehicles and went in for the test drive a few days later. Stan was busy with another customer, so Ron helped us out. Ron was terrific! He's personable and knowledgeable about the cars. It was a painless process and I dread going to dealerships. Most of the time, they talk down on you or give you stupid prices. I've bought cars from different dealerships and they have the best customer service. I highly recommend Weatherford BMW. I've never been so satisfied with a dealership. I am a middle age Asian and went to the dealership yesterday with my wife. I have done my research for long time and decided M3 is the car I want the most. When I asked to test drive M3, salesperson told me that the dealership does not allow test drive on M3. I end up test drive 340, which was good but not great. During the ride, I asked the salesperson more about M3 test drive. How can I make a $80,000 purchase without knowing how it drives? Then he told me that I need to be qualified. They need to run a credit check and other things. He told a story about a buyer who drove a Porsche 911 that came to test drive a M3. He was qualified because he drove a car that "qualified him". I immediately felt discriminated. Run a credit check in order to test drive a car!!! I can't believe what I am hearing. I have never been told that at other dealerships and that include BMW, Lexus, Mercedes and Porsche. Pure discriminatory... I should show them my bank account balance and then walked out. I only regret that I have to drive farther to buy my M3. I cannot believe that a dealership like this exist, and in Bay Area.

I went into Weatherford BMW in Berkeley to look at a new 340i Xdrive. I was helped by Ron Freytag, who right off the bat seemed like a pretty chill guy for a car salesman. As I described what I was looking for he listened carefully and looked through their current inventory. While they didn't have the configuration I was looking for he offered to take me around their large inventory so I could see the various exterior and interior options up close. This was very helpful in making my final selection. Throughout the process Ron was patient and was a great guide through the financing options. Coming from a numbers background I really drilled down into the details and Ron had the answers I was looking for. In the end I ordered a car with the exact options I wanted. I bought an X3 and and X1 at this dealer the same day. We spent 2 days going through paperwork. I paid cash for the brand new X1, but needed to pick it up until they were able to put an original rack on the roof. When I went to pick it up they asked me to sign a papers stating that the car was pre-owned certified. They said that they needed to make the quota the month before so the dealer bought the car to make the numbers. I didn't want to sign that paper given that I paid in full for a brand new car. Andy Lukaszewski offered to undo the deal. I accepted but they have not given my money back after a week. Thus, I have no car and no money. Be very careful with this dealer.

I just bought an i3 from Weatherford BMW. Chris Phan was the one who responded to my inquiry. I am so glad to have worked with him because he is nothing short of astounding. The car I was interested in was just sold, but he was able to get me a similar car at the superb lease rate. He is very professional. I did not experienced a high pressure sale pitch from him. He did not tried to upsell me or hit me with any surprise numbers. We agreed on the price and I picked up the car next day with no hassle at all. It was the best car buying experience I have ever experienced! I referred a friend to Chris, and the friend also bought a car from him and thanked me for referring him to Chris because he also had a great experience and got the same deal as I. In his case Chris had to work harder because the car had to be acquired from another dealer. Chris pulled strings to make it happen and even waived the shipping charge for my friend. Most salesmen are great during the sale, but are pretty poor at post sale service. This is not true for Chris. He and his terrific assistant Natalia answered all my questions about the car. When I asked about the alternate mobility program (free loaner car) that BMW offered, Chris was able to talked to his supervisor and got me a upgrade! If you want a BMW, go to Weatherford and ask for Chris Phan!!

Did a test drive with Kevin Thomas of Weatherford in Berkeley. From the first outreach to Kevin via email through to the test drive itself, what a positive experience. Kevin was very responsive (which other Bay Area BMW Dealerships were absolutely not - San Rafael and Stevens Creek Blvd I'm talking about you) and took all the time in the world taking me through the features and how to get the most out of an X3. I did a lot of research for this purchase and know a good sales person from a bad one and Kevin is the best! Stan, our internet sales manager was very responsive, efficient and professional. Our experience was the best ever. We walked in looking for a 2015 or older and drove off in a 2016 328i. When we waked in we were greeted by Sophia Donelly, she is very experienced and outstanding in choosing the right BMW for you. She took the time to show us multiple 328i's that we liked. After sitting down and working her magic she suggested that a 2016 was the best way to go. We definitely agreed and are very happy to be in the BMW Weatherford family. Sofia Donnelly was working late on President's Day when we cam through Weatherford BMW's showroom. She was upbeat and willing to immediately show us the used car warehouse where our interest lie. The second car we saw, we fell in love with, but Sofia suggested we continue to look at the style that we were trying to replace with our old vehicle, which was a SUV. Soon we were in our first choice a 328i convertible driving down highway 880. That's all it took. Sofia was not nonsense and gave us the paper work to read about the findings on the car. We went into negotiations, she presented them to her boss and within 30 minutes we were signing on the dotted line. Sofia delivered everything she said she would: had our car runner decal replaced and a small drip fixed in the seal where the convertible meets the windshield. She has continued to stay in touch with us based on our interest in a second BMW. Seek out Sofia if you want to buy a car at Weatherford BMW. She is a breath of fresh air.
