Our journey in buying a vehicle can be described as severely exhausting, that was until Derrick and his team at Wallingford Auto Park were recommended to us. Checked out a vehicle today sales person was excellent. Gary went out of his way to help us . The car we looked at was In excellent condition and the price was good and fair. What an amazing experience my husband and I had at Wallingford Auto Park. Manny was our salesman, who went above and beyond to help us find a car that was in our budget and was something we were comfortable with. Once we found the Honda, it took less than 12 hours for Christina to call us back to tell us we were approved and that we could pick up the car that afternoon. Within a half an hour, we had all the documents signed and were out the door with the keys and they even took our old 1999 Dodge Durango off our hands as a trade in..... I would recommend this dealership to all my friends and family!!

We just purchased a car this weekend from Wallingford Auto Park , my husband and I were very pleased with the level of their professionalism . We saw the vehicle last month and they did not pressure us at all. We called Manny back and he was helpful and receptive and he treated us with respect . We felt extremely comfortable throughout the process . Manny and the manager worked with us and finally we made a good deal and we purchased the vehicle. Manny is a good guy personally but a crook salesman. I have a 711 credit score. Manny had the nerve to come back and say two banks denied me financing but the last one approved at 13%! Yes I said 13%. They take advantage of people who think this all they can get. I told them to go screw. Went home got approved from Bank of America for 4%! They're sales tactics are awful and are not honest people.

Went to this dealership in order to purchase a Jetta. Upon entering the first day we were greeted by Manny. No handshake or hello, we had to approach him and ask about a vehicle. The car we wanted to look at was not on the lot, we were told it was "in for bumper work" which we found out the next day was a lie, another salesman was driving it. The lying was only the start of the problems. Manny lectured us on how "price of the car doesn't matter anymore" and that NADA is the best site to look at car worth. Upon doing so and returning the next day (after being told "I basically own you" by Manny when calling to ask if the vehicle was in) we had brought the NADA pricing for a vehicle we were trading in. We were informed that "NADA was only used for them to price their cars" although once again he had told us the day before that they use this site for valuing all vehicles. Overall, Manny was rude, disrespectful, and treated us as if we were not valued customers. He lost a sale because he treated us as if we weren't human and our money didn't matter. Truly disappointed by this experience.

I am writing this review to thank Wallingford Auto Park for all they have done before and after the sale of my vehicle. I will try to make it quick and short. Me and my husband purchased a vehicle about a month ago. Our time at Wallingford was pleasant. I was shown a few different vehicles and decided to go with a TSX. My purchase experience was great. I never felt pressured and they were more than helpful in explaining everything to my husband and I . After a few trips to the store, and some shopping at other dealerships, we eventually chose Wallingford Auto park and more specifically a 2012 Acura TSX. Initially everything was great, the car was in excellent condition and I was so proud of our new car. But more recently, about 3 weeks after purchase, I had an issue with the brakes on the car. I thought maybe it was me not understanding the vehicle or mechanics, but after my husband drove the car he noticed that there was something wrong. Promptly I contacted the dealership team and from the start they went out of their way and were very courteous towards my time and my issues with the car. They honored their warranty and everything was fixed in a very timely manner and I could not be happier. Thank you Marcello and Rich for taking care of my concerns. I am very happy with my new car and the customer service after the sale at Wallingford Auto Park. I will definitely recommend Wallingford Auto Park to all of my friends and family. I actually have never left a review before but this one is certainly worth leaving. I have never had such a pleasant experience buying a car. From the moment I emailed Carli the Internet Manager to meeting Rick who sold me my dream car (BMW) it was the most hassle free experience I ever had buying a car. I had 2 cars in mind and set time to meet the salesman set up by Carli to test drive both. There was zero wait time and after driving the BMW and having all my questioned answered that was it for me. I did do my homework so knew I was getting a good deal and on top of that he even discounted a little more. Thank you Rick for all your help with my many questions (and some a bit odd I'm sure you thought) but you answered every one of them very kindly and that was so appreciated!. When I brought the car my brother noticed a dent under the fender. I mentioned this to Rick that I did not notice it but did notice the nicks in the back. Visited here when I first started looking at cars. I was told to check online and then come back (rude). Shouldn't you know your cars to sell! Then I narrowed down my choice to one particular one online and called to ask of it was available to look at. They said yes and took down the time I would be in with the sales person. I got in just in time and they gave my car away to someone else while their car was being worked on. I waited for 2 hours until they said to come back another day. The salesperson even pulled up the wrong car up on the car fax. Despite my better judgement I returned and loved it. I purchased it and while closing they kept trying to add in the extra warranties and stolen insurance crap. Even after I refused and CHRIS goes "does it really matter, I already printed all the documents". Finally after being aggravated and tired I get in my car and while driving it home I notice dirt marks on the ceiling interior and seat which they said they were going to thoroughly clean. My fiance bought a car here too. We both will never return nor will anyone that we told this frustrating situation too!

I was welcomed with open arms. One of my old friends (Marcello ) is the manager here and I decided to stop down to see what they had. After speaking with him, he told me to focus my attention on the inventory and website. After browsing their website and inventory I saw that they had every vehicle that I was looking for. We bought a 2012 Civic, which was advertised as having 42,000 miles, one owner, and a clean Carfax report. But, when it was time to sign papers, the salesman slipped in the odometer statement, which showed the true mileage was unknown. To me, that was clearly a deliberate attempt to cheat us. And, it seems like false advertising.Then, we were told at the very last minute that the title wasn't available and the registration couldn't be completed. The salesman told us that the original owner still had the title. A manager told us that the title was stored at an offsite location for security purposes. They couldn't even get their stories straight.This seems to me to be the most unscrupulous dealership I've ever dealt with.

Just purchased a new Mercedes C300. It was in immaculate condition, cant believe that it was used. I have been looking for some time. I mainly was searching for new Mercedes' C class vehicles. When I went for a test drive for the Jeep, all the salespeople were busy with customers. Gary got the keys and let me into the vehicle until he was freed up. I really loved having the opportunity to check the Jeep out by myself. Took a test drive with Brent, who honored my request to get off the main drag and cruise down some back roads. Got back, sat down with Gary and Brent, no hassle, no pressure, just friendly conversation and solid information. I was already preapproved at my credit union for the purchase, but opted to also fill out an application here. Chris in Financing really worked hard on my behalf to offer me another financing option, which I ultimately went with. This man knows his job and does it well. I have never been to this area before and all of the dealers in such close proximity can be a bit overwhelming and I was proceeding with caution. Drove over 2 hours to see a car. Spent over an hour with Bill Gordon our Salesman about financing, test drove the car and was very interested. My son wanted to come back in a day or two so that his father could also see it. Bill and Marcello tried to get us to buy that night, but would not do it without his father seeing it. They told my son they would call him the next day by noon to give a final price and set up a time to go back and see the vehicle. NEVER HEARD FROM THEM!!! I called two days later and spoke with Bill and they were angry that we did not purchase the car that night from them. They obviously did not want a sale because had they come down just $200, my son would have purchased the car. Very poor customer service and very pushy salesman. Not a way to win customer support.

Our Sales Person, Bill Gordon, obviously did not want a sale. My son was very interested in a car and Bill and Marcello told him they would call him by noon the next day with a final price. Never heard from either one of them!! They were mad because we would not buy the car before we left the previous night. We drove there for over 2 hours and all my son wanted was his father to look at it. We were willing to drive back there right after Christmas. Very poor customer service!!! Too bad because they would have had a sale!!!

I thought I was buying a nice car but I got fooled during the test drive when the salesman wanted to turn up the radio. The radio was great BUT THE DRIVETRAIN was making a high pitched sound that I did not detect until I was driving it home. I had the car checked by a mechanic and he told me the propeller shaft was shot. I called Wallingford Auto back but they said to call a Acura dealer. The car still has problems. Be careful with this dealership...check you car thoroughly and don't be rushed...they hide things and want you to sign off on the car without a through check of the car.

I purchased a vehicle from Wallingford Auto Park during the summer. I had problems the moment I drove off the lot. I called and have sent emails addressing the issues. I even offered a fair solution to one problem. I have not heard back from them, and thought in time they would contact me. No response!! They didn't even offer to see the vehicle again and look at the issues. I felt as though they got my money and are done with me! I would not recommend this dealership to any friends or family. When negotiating the price of the vehicle the sales manager was very rude. I was told by the car salesman (I worked with) that they don't play games, and will offer me the best price while I am here. Well I walked out that day, and sure enough he called me later in the week with an offer close to my original. So much for offering me the best price while I am there. I pick the car up and had issues before I even arrived home. This was the worst experience I have had buying a car. The customer service and standing behind their vehicle has not been the case with my purchase..very disappointed. I wish I inspected the car more closely and had my mechanic also look at the car. ASK FOR BILL! He is the best car salesman Ive ever bought a car from in my 50 + years. I bought my wife an infinity from him as a gift. There was no xxxxxxxxx. It was an easy, simple process. The best part was he knew the product inside and out, and no haggling for the price. I got exactly what I wanted at a price that I can afford! I am still amazed at how smoothly all of it went. The service here was great. Carli the Internet manager was a pleasure to deal with. From a to z my salesperson was always available and made it a very easy for me. And that helped me to make the decision because I was looking at other vehicles and shopping for 3 weeks. I was very demanding and rick really worked to help me. Don't buy into their "certified" used program

Would not buy a car from here ever again. My "certified" used car I purchased was anything but. Car I purchased had been repainted which I was not informed of, BMW dealer noticed that from 50 feet away, Wallingford denied any knowledge, service chipped paint on from grille when replacing a simple plastic molding. Car began shaking badly, took it to Wallingford and they didn't feel anything, week or so later shaking got worse, was too to take it to BMW as it was the transmission which was still under warranty. BMW says its 4 bent rims, Wallingford argues that and says take it to our BMW guy in North Haven. North Haven also says its bent rims plus tires are shot. Go back to Wallingford, they still claim it's transmission. car still not fixed. Very dissatisfied, never but at Wallingford again

I am very pleased with the experience that I had buying my 2010 Toyota Corolla the other day. I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted at first, but after doing some research, I narrowed down my options. I had the opportunity to work with Manny, who was very helpful and accommodating. He made himself available whenever I showed up (even without an appointment). I was able to drive all of the cars I wanted to drive, and he was very honest about which ones may be a better option than others. I was shopping for a Honda Pilot for a few weeks because I was in a serious accident and have not drove in months. Did go to other dealerships first but they never talked tome about my interest and needs, they just wanted to discourage me from other businesses around them. My son in law keep telling me that he has bought four vehicles for Wallingford Auto and always had great and professional services from them. So I went on line and saw a lot of options and I called and told to Rick Miller and he said come on down when your ready and I show you what we can offer you. No The normal speak of I know what would be suitable for you,he let us roam to our satisfaction and I actually liked the Honda CRV. and he let me test drive it that night on my own and I Loved the feeling and roam that it has for me. Just picked up my 2010 Honda Civic from Wallingford Auto Park yesterday, and it was a great experience. I worked with Manny, and the whole experience was painless. I found the car here on cars.com and proceeded to inquire. I spoke to Carli through email and she set me up with Manny when I got to the dealership. Test drive was good, we figured out my financing options and I was off! I put a deposit down and came to pick up the car a day later, I was in and out in about 30 minutes tops. I don't buy anything but preowned cars and usually stay in each one for about 2 years then swap. This was my first time at Wallingford Auto Park. The over experience was great. I worked with Rick Rodriguez and sales manager Marcello mostly, they were both a pleasure. I did not feel pressured at all and actually took a day to think about it and came back ready to get my G37X. I got the rate I wanted, actually it was a bit better than I was planning so no complaints there. I would recommend this dealership to any customer in the market for a pre owned car, the quality of their cars were leagues above the other pre owned dealerships I have visited in the past. Thanks!

This is my first experience with this dealership and overall very pleasant. I made an appointment to test drive an Acura TL that I found on auto trader and was setup with Jim when I arrived. I had to go to work so I assured Jim I could only take a test drive and I had to be on my way. He took my information after the test drive and said I would be back tomorrow with my husband to hopefully drive off with it. I filled out a credit application and Chris (finance manager) said he would get it processed and approved for tomorrow. My credit is in good standing so I was not worried about getting approved, but I am particular on the rate I get.The following day we arrived and sat down with Jim. At first the payment was a bit over my range, but after we spoke with Marcello he got the price reduced in order to reach my payment goal and the numbers lined up with what I was planning on, actually a bit lower which was great.The rest was fairly painless. Signed the usual papers to finalize the transaction and we were on our way. One thing I will add for criticism is that the customer parking was a bit lacking so I had to park in an undesignated spot near the retail cars.Oh and they took our picture with our new car and sent it to our email and posted on their Facebook, which I thought was neat touch. I would definitely recommend!

Let me start by saying at the age of 28 I have bought over 40 specialised and non specialised USED cars since the age of 17, all from my own knowledge experience and exprtise. Must say the staff were friendly. When we pulled up the car in question was sat right out front. Personally when visiting dealerships for used vehicles I do prefer the sales people don't jump out at me stright away as I want time to check everything I normally check before getting the ear full or distraction techniques, which in this instance they did not jump out stright away which deliberate or not I appriciated.Took car for test drive, all good. my initial check of the vehicle car was satisfactory. Went inside to talk numbers, spoke with JIM, who on first impression appeared to be a lot attendant due to his shorts and tshirt along with his unprofessional dazey type attidude, but still friendly never the less. Vehicle was listed as $11,995 on two websites but once Jim worked his magic numbers added a whole load of extras like a dealership cost, plus an extra $1,000 due to not having a trade in vehicle the "final" price was "just under $15,000". Now I wanted to pay cash all out but was immidiately put off by all these cheeky mickey mouse add ons. Jim forgot twice I wanted to pay cash and kept talking about finance, so obviously it makes more sense for him to get finance deals rather than cash as this way more money can be scammed out of customers, which is why he was not giving me an exact price as it helps with the confusion of finance. Also wasnt happy to turn his screen my way when carfax report was up, but I told Jim I know the cars been in a crash as I could tell the non factory spray job on the drivers door.Jim was kind enough to confuse my silent or more quiet characteristic for someone who is a mug and he beleived I was eating the BS he was trying to feed me by saying "I can see you're new to this", where in England, my home land, silent or quiet isn't a characteristic of a mug but more a calculated individual. He was convinced I was getting confused with all the finance talk and tried to play the caring father. At this point I did feel like telling Jim at my ender age I probably know more about vehicles than his whole sales team but I refrained from doing this for a more diplomatic conversation.Told Jim I will now have to think about this new $15k price. Next morning, called Jim told him willing to do the deal if he could knock a bit off, agreed to knock off $190. Deal... not quite. He found a convinient oppertunity to get me off the phone as I had to go upstairs to get my debit card for a depost, never called me back, called him back and he gave me a story that in the hour they had been open a customer came and put a deposit down on the vehicle with another sales clown, who must have been a far more lucrative victim as they probably went along with his finance deal.

I called for this car :2009 Mercedes-Benz E-Class E350 4MATIC - $21,477 that I found on the website dealer, they said the car was available, I explained that I live an hour away from Wallingford, they asked for my name and telephone number just in case the car was becoming sold, I called Saturday afternoon letting them know that I was coming to the dealer on Sunday. When I arrive to the dealer they told me the card was sold over the phone. you can make your own conclusions how I felt.

Saw a vehicle online and set up a viewing/test drive. My fiance liked the vehicle and we started the process. Was told right away that the online price was "rock bottom". This was still competitive so I didn't get too concerned until the financing and trade talk began. We had been to three other dealerships in the past month as we are in no super hurry to get rid of our current car. They offered $1200, $1300, and $1500 for her trade. Here we got offered $700. I said "what"! I told the salesman about the other dealerships and he claimed they price their vehicles differently and this dealership doesn't do that etc. I didn't want to hear it and finally he came back and said the absoulute best they could do was $1100. On to the financing, my credit is excellent, but my fiance's is only in the 620's. We wanted the car to be in her name and other dealerships were offering us financing between 2.9%-5.25%% range. When this salesman came back the payments were way off. I said what is the rate? After the runaround for 30 seconds I finally got told 10.9% !! Are you kidding me. I was about to get up and leave when he said well there are a few other banks let me try them. He comes back and this time he tries offering 6.9%. I said Sir I am already taking less for a trade, I am not paying a higher finance rate to boot. He claimed thats all he could do. I asked if I could get my own financing from my credit union and the answer was that they didn't allow that. So we got up and left. On the hour drive home we got 2 calls from the dealership but I was so annoyed that I didn't even answer the phone. Buyers beware the prices online are competitive but they will try to make up for it by low balling your trade and giving you an obscene finance rate.

My Experience: GreatBetween both of my sisters, my mother, my father, my two cousins, and my aunt and uncle; my family has purchased over a dozen vehicles from this establishment. I knew there must have been a reason why everyone in my family was going back to Wallingford Auto Park, and this week I found out why. After I was in a collision the week before, my search for a new car began sooner than I had anticipated. As a recent college grad, I required a vehicle that would not only meet my driving needs but my financial needs as well. John helped me identify the perfect used car for my needs, thoroughly cleaned and touched up the car to practically brand new condition (painted and buffed out several small scratches, and removed the previous owners GPS adhesive mount), and spent over two hours working with me until we found a payment plan that would fit my budget comfortably. This was my first experience ever financing a vehicle, and for most 20 something year old's out there; it can be a challenging and exciting experience. But with John's advice and the help from the rest of his staff I found the experience to be informative, comfortable, and fair. At the end of the day I found myself driving away in a stunning AWD sedan that not only looked and drove beautifully, but exceeded my expectations and needs. Taking my families advice to check out Wallingford Auto Park turned out to be a some of the best they have given me - and just like them, I will be returning to Wallingford Auto Park for my next vehicle.Other Thoughts:The establishment's selection is a full variety of all makes and models, the vehicles are all clean, organized, and have the informative paper work clearly visible inside the cars (a lot of other dealerships do not practice this!), the show rooms is immaculate, and all of the staff are very tentative (I did not find myself being hounded by sales personnel, they were professional and courteous). Also I wanted to mention that they just happened to have the car I was looking for in stock, but John WILL find the car you want at a price you want. When my sister was looking for a white SUV, John found the exact year, model, make, spec, and interior she wanted - except the car was blue. He ordered her the vehicle and painted it white at a very excellent cost! We looked on line to help avoid such encounters, and first with all the options and dealers it can get overwhelmed.But our decision to visit Wallingford Auto Park was based on the amount of cars to choose from, the price and comparison of models we were interested in drew us to Wallingford Auto Park. This brings us back to the web, it was a ice breaker to have a live chat with a representative to get the feel and to answer some common questions about the dealership.All this and we are at the dealership, Wallingford Auto Park, we are greeted by our first name and introduced to one of there sales personnel, Rick Miller. Rick deserves a lot of credit, he was like talking to a old friend, we never once got a bad feeling that we were into the feared dealership syndrome.The car that we went for was showed to us, was ready for a test drive if we wished,we felt comfortable with the professional manner Rick presented the car and allowing us the proper time to feel this out. I had researched a few cars on the internet, looking to replace my tired old one. On my way home from shopping,I figured I would stop in, and look at one of the cars that had caught my eye. So, I pull up, and a salesmen "Jim" is out the door as fast as I am out of my car, I think,"Good. this place has an attentive staff." He brings the car around, we test drive it, I point out a few flaws...It falls on deaf ears.I'm not saying, it's a bad car, It isn't. First of all, the Rims are chewed up, and the floor mats, aren't in the car.Fine, I would negotiate a lower price later.The more I talk to "Jim" the more it's becoming apparent to me, that I am boring him with annoying questions about my concerns.I do the standard tire kick, check under the hood, I am satisfied it's a solid car.He draws up a contract, I go home to get my Checkbook. I came back, and saw the price, had been marked up, As I try to negotiate, it's just short of eye rolling me, we got a creditor...blah, blah,just sign and drive.I should have contacted my creditor's because I could've financed the car at a much lower interest rate, like 4% lower.Of course as I am filling out the paperwork, they are using pens provided by the Credit provider...and it felt more condesending than friendly at this point. The car is brought around, no mats, chewed up rims, and no Owner's Manuel in the Glovebox.Full price, no haggling, No wonder "Jim" rushed me to sign off on the car before I received it.I am sure the weak handshake,mumbled congradulations, and inability to make eye contact as I took the keys, was the only testament, to having anything that resembles a human soul. Two days later, the wiper fluid won't dispense.Even though its an 11,000 car, its an 06, so if you want them to stand by their "Quality product" you need to "purchase" a warranty.Then, as I am inspecting the windshield, I notice a crack in the windshield along the top seam, I had missed.So, they can't provide working safety features like a working washer fluid pump, I have no confidence in their service department to conduct a safety inspection on their inventory, I will have to go through insurance to replace my windshield, and I plan to bring the car to my mechanic,because I have no Confidence in their business to do the work, or be honest about anything.

Having bought both new and pre-owned vehicles over the past 40 years I have had a wide range of experiences with the sales and finance staff. Most were ok, but some were darn right rude. Walking into Wallingford Auto Park I was met within a minute by the manager, Marcello Onofrio, who then found a sales person to assist me. Rick Miller was very pleasant and immediately went to find the vehicle I was interested in seeing. He was knowledgeable about the vehicle and we went for the obligatory short ride. After I purchased the car however, it failed to start at the dealership; the service department then quickly charged the battery and I was on my way. A day later the "Service Engine" indicator appeared; I brought the car back to Wallingford Auto Park and the issue was fixed at no cost to myself. Two weeks later the indicator re-appeared because of another issue (non-warranty related) which will require $2k in labor and parts to fix this and other maintenance issues, one of which is to flush and replace the radiator coolant because it is of the wrong type (BMWs use a non-phosphorous (blue, not green) coolant.) Had I been wiser, I would have had the car examined at another service center prior to its purchase. Should anyone consider trading in their old car at this (or any other) dealership, might I suggest researching the actual selling value of your trade-in, not the whole-sale or "blue book" value, and use this as a starting point for your negotiation. I discovered later that Wallingford Autopark sold my trade-in for far more than what they had offered me...in my opinion.

I did a lot of homework on this Toyota MR2, an unusual model with definite advantages and definite limitations that I needed to evaluate. I was given generous access to the car. I tested it on curves and at highway speeds. Michael accompanied me and found a convenient route for the test, which was useful because I did not know Wallingford. Although the MR2 is quite a rare car in the US, Michael had done his homework and was well able to help me get started. He showed me how to operate the convertible top and the somewhat unusual storage compartments. I then took my wife for a ride in the car, necessarily without Michael because the Mr2 is a two-passenger vehicle. Some of my requests were a bit unusual but the Wallingford Auto Park staff accommodated them cheerfully. I had a great conversation about the car with the head mechanic, who is called Steve if I remember correctly. He explained the car's special engineering features and made a number of valuable suggestions about how to maintain it properly, including care tips for the finish and convertible top as well as the engine and running gear. While I was consulting with Mike and Steve, Dan and other staff were busy answering my wife's questions about the car and setting up a somewhat unusual electronic payment method with my remote banking facility. Everybody was working hard while carrying on friendly conversation simultaneously, and the result was a relaxed atmosphere in which I could think and achieve my evaluation goals. I was able to complete the transaction in one trip, which was valuable because I live in Warren, Rhode Island, more than 80 miles away from the Auto Park. I had been pricing used MR2's on the internet for months and estimate that the price for this MR2 was about 15% lower than at other dealerships. I had no intention of buying a used car from a private seller and was glad to get such a price from a dealer with a good reputation. The car had been well inspected and well set up (see my rating for "quality of work"), with two new tires and a new battery. After a few days at home, I am enjoying the car and it certainly seems to be the right one for me. I give Wallingford Auto park a lot of credit for this positive outcome.

My experience with Wallingford Auto Park was pleasurable from start to finish. I spotted the car I was interested in on the internet and contacted Marcello to make sure the car was still available. He was out on the lot, confirmed the car was still there and for sale and a half hour later I was there for a test drive. Marcello was very pleasant, he took me outside and showed me the car. When there were some questions that he couldn't answer he left me to start and look the car over while he went to get Jim, the salesman. Jim was also very friendly and took the time to answer all my questions and took me out on a rather lengthy test drive. When we got back we went inside to talk numbers, the price was a bit more than I was willing to spend so I told him I would have to think about it. The following morning I e-mailed him to let him know I was no longer interested. He responded promptly and asked what they would have to do to make me happy. I gave them my bottom line monthly payment I was willing to make and how much I was able to put down. He got back to me later that day with the numbers I needed, they had come down in price about $1300. When I came in on Saturday to pick up the car I met with Chris who explained all the aspects of the financing and registration. Within an hour I had my new plates on my car and I was driving away happy. The whole process from finding the car to picking it up only took a couple of days. It was a very good experience and I would recommend them to anyone.

We are extremely impressed with Wallingford Auto Park, and especially with our sales contact, Michael Taylor. We are now proud owners of a 2010 Honda Civic LX with very low miles on it. We have never bought a car through a dealer before, we've always gone through private parties. We researched our car choices on cars.com and found the one we were interested in listed at Wallingford Auto Park. We read the dealer's website and learned they were a "no haggle" dealership. They truly were, the price was the price and it was fair and reasonable. Michael was the best kind of salesperson we could hope for, especially for our first time. There was 0 pressure. He went above and beyond to make us happy and comfortable throughout the process. We received a free carfax, which was so helpful. Michael also arranged to have the car brought to our mechanic so it could be inspected. It passed with flying colors! When we went to pick up the car, it took about 5 minutes to get the paperwork done. Everything was well prepared and ready to go when we got there. Michael had the car detailed and had a tank full of gas for us. He put the license plates from our old car on the "new to us" car and off we went. Very pushy sales person,had to work around his schedule not mine,wouldn't detail car, not even given 30 day warranty,when my wife drove by caught the salespeople makink remarks about my wife,checked the oil told them it was overfilled my answer was that it was parked on a hill,left dealership drove about 10 miles and oil seals blew out, had to get a tow,had the seals fixed,cost me at 600 drove it for about 50 miles and oil filter sprung a leak oil was dripping all over my new driveway and engine area is filled with oil,also only given 1 key,the car being a jag it will cost about another 7-8 hundred for a new one,I was told 2 keys came with car,didn't find out until all paperwork was done then was told they had only one key also put wrong battery in door opener have to order one from jag for 32.oo,wish I never went there f ----------------- rating by me,Women if you go there alone be careful.I emailed sales manager and told him my displeases,haven't heard anything back.

My experience at Wallingford Auto Park was absolutely amazing. I was very apprehensive about buying a new car but after Marcello made me feel comfortable, I decided to give it a chance. I was not judged and I was treated like a human. Which, lets be honest, most car dealerships don't do. And I felt as though everyone was genuine. I have to give a special shout out to Marcelo and Rick Rodriguez because 1) if it weren't for Marcello telling me to come on in, I probably would not have and 2) For Rick being so extremely nice and patient. I love the fact that he took time to teach me about the features of my car and offered to help me set up my blue tooth once I get a new phone. Everything about this experience was absolutely awesome. Again, I thank you, I didn't think I would be driving a new car (to me) this soon. I appreciate everything! I was sent to Wallingford Auto Park from a friend who recommended it. When I walked in I was greated immeadiately with a huge welcoming smile by Manny Alvarez. I mentioned my friends friend John Gargano, who happens to be the owner. He too welcomed me into his office with a big smile and made me feel very at ease. Being a single woman shopping for a car this is huge. I mentioned that also. After chatting with me John sent me back out to be helped by Manny. We took a walk around the lot and Manny answered all my questions with confidence and a smile. He didn't make me feel like any of my questions were silly or unimportant. I test drove 4 cars, the first with Manny the next three by myself. I ended up with a Nissan Altima '09, I love it! I was so thrilled with my whole experience that I haven't stopped raving about it. I feel like a got a great deal, I was not pressured and I feel like everyone who was a part of the sale really cared that I got the right car for me. Manny was so pleasant and knowledgable, John was very welcoming. The Floor Manager Chris even stopped by at one point to introduce himself and make sure all was good. Christina McCue who helped me through my final paperwork was quick and friendly. All in all from the moment I walked in the door till the moment that Manny handed me my keys and took my smiling picture in front of my new car, I have to say that this was the best car buying experience I have ever been through. I bought a 2002 Toyota Tundra in 2007 from Karl at w a p . Karl was friendly , professional and great to deal with . I recently had my truck back for routine service as the vehicle is now 10 yrs old and nearly 100 k . Steve and Kevin in the service dept were excellent . They know there buisness and do an excellent job explaining to me and showing me what needs to be done and why . Steve also gives me a heads up on what to watch for with the truck as the wear and tear of everyday driving in New England takes its toll. This way hopefully there are no sudden surprises at my next visit . I always leave there felling i was very fairly treated and that i received great service for my money . Keep up the good work w a p .

Firstly I want to express that my dealings when purchasing a car from this location are strictly my opinion with a member of the sales staff, this has nothing to do with the owner of the company (although he should probably evaluate some of his sales staff a little better). I was looking for a sport model acura and willing to pay what I needed to get it. I found Wallingford Auto Park had a select few available, at an attractive price point. I am not a nit-picker or a procrastinator when it comes to something that I want, and I paid upwards of $20k for this vehicle without hassle. The least I would have expected from the sales staff would be that they were upfront with what I was buying. Well Turns out a year later when I am attempting to trade this in on a upgrade/newer model I find that the vehicle had a severe front impact crash where the airbags were deployed. Ah thats why the sales rep stalled the carfax report and was rushing the purchase because there were two other guys showing up today to look at the same car because it was such a great deal. Let me tell you something I have learned my $5,000 lesson from this. Not to mention the problem I had out of the gate with the Hands Free Link Unit which they promised to get back to me on or send me over to acura to have the unit fixed BS. Wont find me recommending this place to anyone, EVER. You want luxury go buy it CPOd from the Dealer, case in point.

This was my first time purchasing a car here, however my husband has purchased a few cars from this dealership. I must say I had the most wonderful experience! I was very specific about the vehicle I wanted, and the people at Wallingford Auto Park found exactly what I wanted for a price I couldn't and wouldn't find anywhere else. The customer service was the best, and all my need were accomodated for and in a very timely fashion. As someone who is difficult to please, I could not be happier with my experience here and will definitely go back here for any of my future vehicle purchases.
