We purchased a certified pre-owned car from Leonard at the dealership. The car was so new to the lot they had not had a chance to complete the certification check. We signed all the paperwork on a thursday night knowing they would still have to complete the certification the next week. The following Monday we had a family emergency that required the car to be delivered ASAP so we could travel as out other car broke down over the weekend as well. The dealership pushed and completed the certification check as quick as possible and delivered the car so we could take care of getting family from the airport since they were flying into a different airport than they left from originally. The service manager Wayne, who I never met pushed for everything to get done and we could not be more appreciative. The car we purchased has been a great car and we could not be happier. Thank you to everyone at the dealership that worked so fast to make the car available to us.

Hello, I had contacted the dealership to inquire about a Subaru Baja and was treated very nicely by the salesperson. ( I apologize for not remembering his name, it has been a few weeks and I should have wrote it down!). Anyway, he was very pleasant and took time to answer my questions thoroughly. I was looking for a Baja with a few less miles so ended up not coming over to Ohio to check it out. If it had less miles I would certainly have buzzed over! It was a good experience!

nice new building. but that is the only positive part of my experience. they claim to be somehow a different kind of car dealer. but from a recent visit, they are not. the sales people could have just as easily been selling refrigerators. (in fact of them mentioned that his last job was at hh gregg) i did business with wagners many years ago before they sold subaru. back then they were a special kind of place. sadly, that has all changed, they have joined the ranks of many car dealerships...if you know what i mean...... this was my first time at Wagners in several years. maybe i expected too much. but then what do i know, i'm only a customer.... (or could have been)

We recently were traveling through Ohio when our Subaru broke a alternator belt and quit running. We called for a wrecker since we were stranded on Interstate 70, and telephoned Wagner Subaru to say we were stranded and since they were quite close we were having our car towed there. They said they decided to close their business 3 hours early that day so we were out of luck and on our own. This dealership appears to be a very poor representative for Subaru dealerships and totally offered no help even to try and find a different Subaru dealership, which luckily there is another one in the area that does care about it's customers. We will definitely never try to visit this one again as it showed what it thought of it's customers or possibly has a uncaring employees.

If you are in the market for a Subaru, GO SEE THESE PEOPLE! I have bought more than my share of new vehicles over the years and always dreaded the long, drawn-out hassle it always entails.Not this time! This has been, by far and wide, the easiest, most pleasant new car transaction I have ever experiencedI was originally dealing with another local Subaru dealer, (They-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named ) and was VERY dissatisfied with my treatment there. I was kept waiting almost 3 hours just to receive a very low-ball offer on my trade-in! I had checkbook in hand, ready to buy that day, and they wouldn't even come close to what my (newer vehicle) trade was actually worth.Enough of the bad stuff, on with the good!I called Wagner Subaru to inquire about what they had in stock, (looking for an Outback) and spoke with a very pleasant young lady named Claire.I discussed my situation with her and right off the bat, I was offered a better deal all around.Had some questions via email the next day, and Claire (on her day off, mind you) took the time to answer each and every one of them to my satisfaction. This was over the course of several emails.That is above and beyond the call of duty in my opinion.I have never, ever dealt with such a nice, easy-going, no-pressure sales professional in my life!Deal is done as of today, with a much more generous value for my trade-in.I can't recommend Wagner Subaru and Claire Grimsley in particular highly enough!In fact, I'm looking forward to my next purchase from them already.Sick, aren't I? : )Dan Blevins

First the car. I purchased a Subaru 2015 2.0i Limited. I love this car! It's handsome, loaded with features I wanted, handles well -especially on snow and ice. Now, about the dealership. Best experience I've had buying a car. I dealt with Greg Sagasser and Mike Reed. I took my time making choices and experienced absolutely no pressure! When I had questions they were quite helpful. When I decided to make a purchase Greg assisted me in getting a car the same day, based on my preferences for options and color. This involved making arrangements to have the car delivered from a dealership 70 miles away. Working through financing,title, and registration was a snap. Got a thorough introduction and orientation from Greg about features of the vehicle. Since my purchase I had some questions about installing some accessibility devices and got prompt answers and a referral from the service department. This is my first Subaru. Based on my experience with this dealership, I'd recommend the brand and the dealership. Altogether a very satisfying experience. Thanks, Wagner Subaru.

My husband and I had been looking into buying a new car for sometime. We had narrowed our choices to a Rav 4, CRV and the Forester. One Saturday we stopped by Wagner and test drove the forester. I was surprised when the salesperson let us take the car for a test drive without coming with us. After the test drive we sat down with Greg and discussed cost. He was very open and honest. We went home to think about the purchase. I checked Truecar and found Wagner's price to be below the Truecar recommended price. My husband and I were amazed at the lack of pressure to buy the car. My husband and I met with Greg the next day to buy the forester. There was no last minute changes in price. There were additional price add-ons. Everything was so easy and straightforward. Neither my husband or I have ever had such a stress free, no pressure car buying experience. I'd recommend Wagner to anyone looking for the easiest car buying experience.

I have owned many automobiles but Wagner Subaru dealership is by far the most pleasant one to deal with. Wagner's no haggle no nonsense process to selling a car is wonderful with a fair and low price the first time without delay makes buying a car from them a pleasure. I have owned six Subarus buying the last five from them and have all service completed by there service department without a problem.

I was shopping for a new Subaru Forrester so I visited my local Subaru dealership where my wife purchase her 2013 Outback. I was totally unimpressed with the sales people we met. I headed up to Wagner Subaru where I was greeted by the sales manager, Mike Reed. Mike was professional, warm and friendly with a very low key sales approach. What he essentially told us was that he didn't have to sell us a car because the car would sell itself. He set us up for a test drive and told us to take our time. When we returned, Mike spent some time answering our questions about the car, and the history of the dealership. We were quite impressed and decided to place an order for the Forrester. Because of the options I wanted the car was a special order. Prior to ordering the car I priced it out with the options I wanted through Consumer Reports. Mike actually beat their price by around $200. When we went to pick up the Forrester about 2 months later Mike had all the paperwork ready to sign. He spent some time going over the owners manual, pointing out the most important pieces of information, especially regarding break in, maintenance, and some of the car's special features. Overall, this was the best car buying experience I have ever had, with totally no high pressure sales, and no haggling over the price. When it comes time to purchase a new Subaru in the future, they will definitely have a repeat customer.

I had read a few reviews about Wagner Subaru as we were looking for a new car. I liked the fact that they were "low pressure", which compared to previous car buying experiences, that could still mean some pressure. Mike and I had emailed back a few times about a car, but other than that, we showed up at the dealership pretty much as Subaru novices as having never driven or even ridden in a Subaru. Mike was extremely easy to talk to and work with. We test drove a few models, talked through the differences and decided on a Cross trek XV Hybrid. We were trading in our current car and he was very agreeable to the amount we wanted for it. Picking up our new car the next day literally took 5 minutes to do the paperwork. The experience could not have been any more pleasant, we felt we received a great value, and will tell our friends about the process. FINALLY, Mike and Wagner Subaru made car buying fun instead of the usual gut wrenching, treated like crap experience we have usually had to go through! We bought a car and don't feel slimy! YEAH!! Thanks Mike!

I recently bought a Subaru Outback from Wagner Subaru. I was truly impressed with Mike Reed, Internet Sales Manager, and Wagner's no-hassle sales process. I was dead-set against having to negotiate back and forth to purchase a new car, and was actually dreading the new-car buying process. But Wagner Subaru was true to their word - no hassle at all. I also did this all on the internet - which to a computer geek like me, is awesome. I put my requirements in and got a quote, and Mike and I communicated via e-mail and phone to talk about the details. Once the car was in, all I had to do was go pick it up and pay for it! All this was done without me having to go to the dealership until the day I picked up the car. That was nice, since Wagner Subaru is several hours away from my home. It is totally worth it to me though, because of the super-easy sales process, and the level of care that Mike took to get me just what I wanted. This is how buying a car should be!!

Most amazing car-buying experience of my life. These guys are honest and up-front (very rare in this business) and I walked out feeling like I had gotten the best deal imaginable. The staff are awesome and make you feel like you're family. The only downside is they are badly in need of new space, but they are having a new facility built down the road and will be in by summer's end, so no worries! I had already fallen in love with the Outback on a test-drive, but I wasn't 100% sure where I was going to buy it from--there's a lot of options between Columbus and Dayton. I've always heard great things about Wagner--that they're really friendly and up-front about everything you need to know when buying a car. I decided to check it out, so I drove from Columbus. I'm so glad I made the trip. The staff was really helpful and had my car ready to go when I pulled up to the lot. They were accommodating during the whole process and made sure I had everything I needed in order to make the right decisions. I took my Outback for a test drive and decided I had to have it! The sales process was smooth and, just like everyone said, it was easy--no unexpected expenses. Thank you to everyone at Wagner--I'm sure I'll be driving this car for a long time.

The reason I come here is for the service. I felt like other dealers were taking advantage of me but they're really trustworthy at Wagner. I looked around the Cincinnati/Dayton area for Subaru dealers and was very happy with my choice in Wagner Subaru for a Forester. I dealt mostly with Mike Reed, who was very personable, patient, and knowledgeable about the vehicle I wanted. Most importantly, he spoke to me frankly and honestly about the financing and car features, a real contrast to some other smarmy dealerships I've visited. I came in from Iowa, yet Mike worked with me to make sure the paperwork for out-of-state registration and taxes would be correct. While the building is noticeably older and parking is a little tight, the welcoming and friendly staff, from the owner to the sales reps to the mechanics, made this a completely friendly and uncomplicated buying experience. The ease that all the staff were willing to work with me to get the vehicle I wanted with the price tag I wanted makes me highly recommend Wagner Subaru.

I called and spoke with the service department regarding a check engine light. Another dealership reset the CEL without giving me a quote on how much it would be to fix it or what could be wrong, or the actual code numbers. I used a scanner from an auto store to read the codes and gave them to the service manager at Wagner who took time to explain to me the probable causes, the different diagnostic tests, and estimated price to fix the possible issues associated with the code. Wagner's service department is friendly, patient, and helpful!

Best car transaction I've ever had! Just moved to the Dayton area in Feb, and a co-worker who owns a Forrester (I have an Outback) recommended Wagner for service. Was very pleased with the professionalism & expertise of the service staff. When I decided to buy a new Subaru, the sales staff was incredible! I did my research on-line (Consumer Reports) and knew the exact car & price I wanted to pay. Mike gave me an even better deal! That's a first for me! Financing was arranged ahead of time, so we were in and out of the dealership in less than 30 minutes. No pressure to buy an extended warranty either. Even the test drive experience was incredible--they didn't want a copy of my driver's license or to come along with me--"come back when you're ready; drive it home, park it in the garage to make sure it fits."Since this is my third Outback, they didn't have to sell me on the brand, but they certainly sold me on their dealership by the way they handle their customers!

personal service, decent guys, tiny facility In process of buying my 3rd new car there. And for the 3rd time, the first time I asked for a lower price, they quoted a price lower than I could negotiate in a week of going to the nearest other two suby dealers. Last week week, getting a worn out part replaced on my 12 year old forester (on which everything still works perfectly), I asked for some additional tune up work and service manager comes back and says he looked at the car and I didn't need that work done. (!)

I recently bought an Outback from Wagner Subaru. The car is fantastic and the dealership is great.They were so low pressure, I couldn't believe it. (Especially compared to all the other dealers I visited around the state looking for just the right car.)In fact, I was looking for a Forester and returned from a test drive at closing time. When I parked it, Chris asked if I wanted to drive anything else, even though they were technically closed. I drove the Outback sitting nearby and fell in love with it. As I returned he continued to stay as another couple were taking a test drive.Negotiated a great deal with Mike and never experienced any "funny" business that I've seen in the past with other dealers.Couldn't be happier!

Wagner Subaru is by far the most outstanding auto dealer and service center we have ever encountered! We are on our second new Subaru bought from Doc and Bo Wagner, and we have always been treated to the highest level of customer service you will ever find anywhere in this day and age. Wagner Subaru ownership and employees go out of their way to meet customer needs at the lowest possible cost, and the least hassle to the customer. When our first (1980) Subaru was nearing the end of its useful life and the muffler needed to be replaced, Wagner's suggested replacing it with a (functional) used muffler off of another Subaru they had on the premises -- and installed it on our vehicle (instead of a new muffler) because it would last as long as the rest of the car and cost us only a fraction of what a new muffler would have cost us! Wayne Wilson the Service Manager, and Regan McNulty the Parts Manager, and all of their mechanics and staff make every visit we make to Wagner's for both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance reasons a pleasurable experience -- treating us more like family than customers! Subarus do not need repairs often, but when they do, it is good to know there is a such a reputable dealership and service center nearby where we can take our current (2004) Forester to in order to get it fixed right the first time! Wagner's is truly the best, and their exceptional staff makes them the best!Ed & Patti Bogden (Beavercreek, Ohio)
