alert!!!! unethical practice detected!!!!!! alert!!!we went to venice honda looking for a civic on behalf of our daughter who just got back from a 5yrs oversea deployment. agreed on a quote from one of the manager, signed and gave a deposit. a week later, on a saturday, we came back to pick it up. they had us signed bunch of papers, took to the financing office to finalize. then 1hrs later, the same manager that authorized the deal came out and wanted $1500 more for the same car that we had agreed upon! we didn't fall for the trap so he told us to come back on monday, he will get us another car. the manager said and i quote " either take this car out tonight for $1500 more or wait 2 days to get the car as quoted" we got suspicious, but what can we do? we left disappointed and outraged! monday afternoon they called and said they can't get the car as priced, come back for a refund! we understand that these kind of business practice is seldom done in a third world country, but is really happen here in the great country of USA which our daughter spent the last 5 yrs of her youth protecting? these people can't be trusted, they lied to us, played game, pushing us around. they're so unprofessional, so crooked! heartbroken and disgusted our little navy girl went to wilde and got a much better treatment. she is now recovering from stress in her white civic ex. don't waste your time with this company! i wouldnt dare to come close to this sharks infested establishment!!!you've been WARNED!!!!

Jim and Ralph did a great job meeting my needs in a short time. I was a demanding client needing to purchase a car for my mother within 24 hours of contacting Ralph via online, was only in town a short time. I wanted a specific car with particular options and color combination and they did not have it on the lot. Within 5 hours of contacting them they had sourced the car and it was on its way to their lot. I was very happy with the price and Jim did an excellent job explaining the options on the car and how they worked. I would very much recommend both men as they know how to take care of a client and deliver what they promise.

I hate buying vehicles! I am sure most people do. You enter the parking lot and the vultures begin circling and then attack!! I went online first, hoping it was safe, checking out the Honda of my choice. Venice Honda has a "Best Price" option online, they give you their best price without the hassle. Wow, what a concept!!! Jim Timpson contacted me shortly thereafter and we arranged a meeting. When we arrived, we were greeted and treated so nicely, then directed to Jim. He is the "Online Guy". We chatted for a few minutes so he could figure out our needs and then took us out to see the vehicles! Jim is a wonderful person as well as a salesperson ! No high-pressure tactics here!! Let me repeat that.... No high-pressure from anyone we dealt with!!! I narrowed my choice to 3 vehicles and told Jim I had to sleep on it......take a day to think it out. Jim said "No problem, it's a big purchase! " We arranged a meeting yesterday and the whole process took no time at all. I drove home my new Baby! I might add that I had a trade-in, and Jim made sure we received a fair (actually a VERY FAIR) price for my old, but beautiful pick-up!! He really does his utmost to make you happy and comfortable with your purchase!! Paul, in Finance, was great also! Although my credit score is off the charts, he really worked magic with the numbers to our total satisfaction! No pressure to buy any of the add-ons that can really up your monthly payments! Also, Jim stayed an hour and a half extra, over his work day, to explain our vehicles options and how things work! Much appreciated! He deserves a raise!!! OK, I'll stop rambling on. its harder purchasing a car when u r in another state. all kinds of different rules and headaches. But not for Jim Timpson at Venice Honda! this was a surprise for my wife when she flew into our Florida home in Venice. Jim not only helped me through the procedures he made sure the car was in our garage when the wife opened the door!! oh yeah, he even put a bow on the car I sent him. now that's going all the way for a customer! I cannot begin to tell you how good my experience was at Venice Honda. Jim Timpson went above and beyond to help me get into the car I wanted. My car had been totaled in an accident and I was expecting a check from the insurance company within the week. I could not afford a car payment and could only buy a car for the amount of the insurance check. Jim presented my case to management and Venice Honda lowered the price of the car so I could buy it. We recently purchased a used car with a 30 day limited warranty, and we returned to the dealership a week later because the check engine light went on within a few days of the purchase. They made the repair, but all involved were very defense and could not provide us with a copy of exactly what is and is not covered under a limited warranty in case we had further problems. I would recommend getting this in writing before purchasing a car. I am not recommending this dealership primarily because of the poor customer relations. Their defensiveness makes me question their overall trustworthiness as well.

I bought a car and when I went into the loan officers room he started with all these sceneries on how my car can break. I am 77yrs old and the next thing you know my 24,000 CRV is 30,000 because I must have signed up for road hazard $312. FWS $1,995 as well as Service contract for 1,940 and gap insurance for 899.00. I feel taken advantage of by the loan guy. I have called and left messages with no return call. Don't trust them they are crooks Feel free to contact me at 941-565-8660. Nick Renna. I have bought two vehicles at Venice Honda when it was under the previous owner Cramer. I was satisfied with them until I brought my 2013 CRV in for service under the new ownership in May. I wanted an oil change before heading back North for the summer. Imagine my surprise when I was told that approx. $600 in service was recommended for my vehicle (brake fluid flush, transmission, etc.). Since I had owned twp previous CRV's without such service and my current one only has a little over 29,000 miles on it, I declined. Upon returning to NY I took the CRV to my local Honda dealer and showed them the invoice with recommended service from Venice Honda. They said they never heard of such a thing at my low mileage. They inspected the vehicle and said everything was fine. Also a local mechanic I spoke to agreed with my NY dealership. I emailed Venice Honda customer service with my concerns and they never even had the courtesy to reply. It makes me question their integrity. Although I may be buying another vehicle in the next year, I would be very hesitant to return to Venice Honda or would I recommend them to friends.

Internet search for a 2016 Honda Fit EXL brought us to Venice Honda. Jim Timpson replied to our email in a very timely manner, and assured us the vehicle was indeed in stock and on the showroom floor. As we drove to the dealership, Jim had the Fit EXL removed from the showroom. We test drove the car and learned much about the features along the way. Jim was kind, friendly, and very helpful throughout our entire time with him. He made it possible for us to purchase the car that day and drive home in a new car. We have purchased many cars in our lives, but Jim and this dealership made the process so comfortable that we are calling this our Pain-fee car purchase.

My wife and I were initially considering the purchase of a used Civic. We had a 2009 Accord on lease that was ending in another month. After looking at the used Civics that were available our sales person, Dale, recommended that we consider another lease. I had no intention of leasing another vehicle however, the lease on a 2012 was so attractive that we decided to lease a 2012 Accord. Both Dale and Tim were very helpful and did not force us into another lease without us being comfortable with it. Also, the Business Mgr, Troy, was very efficient and informative.Our experience at Cramer Honda was a postive one. We would recommend them to anyone considering their next purchase or lease.

Started as internet search; ended up purchasing a used 2011 Sienna from Venice Honda a few days later. Internet sales manager Jim Timpson was always courteous, prompt, kind, and professional. We even had two young children (toddler and infant) running around dealership. Everyone was helpful and polite to us, and our toddler in and out of the vehicles! Jim was awesome at following up, but not being aggressive and overbearing! I was actually in disbelief at how easy Jim, Ralph (finance) and John (lending) made the experience. With my busy work, school, and family life, Jim, Ralph, and John actually arranged the paperwork that I didn't have to drive my family back, and they drove the 30 minutes to my city (North Port). I was also provided warrantee and GAP insurance and a lower rate than I had anticipated (even on a used vehicle)! I will certainly recommend Jim, Ralph, John, and Venice Honda.

Major issues with a used car

I have to say I should have thought something was wrong when it seemed too easy to walk in pick out a vehicle and be signed and drive away in less than a hour. The test drive was on a cold February day and all appeared in good order. This is the first used car I ave purchased in over ten years and she seemed perfect but just to be safe I purchased the extended warranty suggested and Off I went. The following week we had a day that hit 80 and the cara/c could not keep up. I asked the sales manager and he said its as is, I asked if they would at least help with the warranty deductible and that was a no. I has a we owe, for a spot on the interior and got the run around with that and it turns out it's just a cover up cosmetic that just rubbed off.I had the car checked out at the manufacture and had the repairs done to the tune of 3k. Had to get new tires and learn or more repairs needed in the suspension. So far 4K in repairs the first month of ownership. NEVER GO TO VENICE HONDA. ANYWHERE ELSE PLEASE,

Jim went the extra mile & actually made the process fun for us. He assisted us in getting everything we requested on a 2016 CRV. I went to the dealership without my wallet & after all of the papers were signed Jim followed us home to get a copy of my license so we didn't need to return to the dealership with it. The CRV we traded in had a tow hitch which we wanted on the new CRV. Jim drove our old CRV to the Hitch House in Sarasota who removed the hitch & placed it on the new CRV. I first came across this dealership by searching on-line originally for a Honda, but found a quality used Mercedes GLK 350 in pristine condition which I fell in love with. The picture layout and write-up were excellent. I contacted the dealership by internet for further details and was later telephoned by James Timpson, internet sales manager. I couldn't have asked for a better person to be contacted by. He first left a message on our recorder as I was out at the time. His recorded message was so well put that I have saved it on my recorder now almost two months later. His responsiveness, hospitality and attention to detail has been exceptional. His conduct was more than a competent salesman, but behaved as a friend even providing service weeks after the sale. We could not recommend him more highly than we do! Two years ago I had my timing belt replaced on my 2006 Aura MDX, when it was Cramer Honda. Immediately upon leaving the shop...I heard a whining noise relative to the RPMs. I took it back, but the Service Manager at that time said it was common and would disappear over time. I brought it back two more times and they said the same. Recently, on 12/6/2015 with the ownership having changed and a new Service Manager named Jack I decided to bring it back again. After a diagnostic check, they told me I needed a new transmission, approximately $5.5k to $6k.....for my 2006 Acura MDX. The Service Manager Jack reviewed the anticipated high dollar work order and decided to get involved, since it was a large expense. The Service Tech, the Service Advisor and Jack called me back to say they had reviewed everything again and decided that the transmission wasn't the problem. They could have continued with the scheduled work, and I wouldn't have questioned their decision. They were honest in telling me their thoughts....and as a result the timing belt pulley was replaced, the transmission was serviced with new fluid and cleaned. All this should have been done 2 years ago when the belt was replaced. There was no charge at all. VENICE HONDA, I believe, knows how to generate good will for their customers. I think a lot of Jack for his intervening. Thanks very much!

I recently purchased a new Honda Accord Hybrid Touring from Cramer Honda in Venice, FL. I worked with Jim Timpson and did the initial work on-line where all the dealers in my area respond to a request for price. Jim was quick to respond with an excellent price and didn't screw me around by later adding in additional costs. It was well worth the 60 mile drive to pick up the vehicle. Jim was pleasant to work with, and Jim and the entire Dealer staff were extraordinarily professional. I wasn't pressured to buy anything I didn't want although I was offered a somewhat expensive extended warranty. As I never buy those I initially turned it down, but later decided to buy it due to the massive amount of high technology on this car. Although Honda in well known for its reliability, I decided I needed the piece of mind as It did extend the basic warranty by a large amount.

I purchased a certified pre-owned honda pilot. Although I was very happy with the truck I had a few issues with the way the sales portion was handled. I was pressured to sign the contract by Rafael without reading and told if there was any problems it would be taken care of. Well when I picked up my Pilot I had a few issues that weren't taken care of. I played a bit of phone tag and got no where until the manager Lance reached out to me. He listened to my concerns and had me come in. The sales manager Chris was wonderful and had my vehicle detailed and took care of the issues I had. He also sat down with me so we could go over my paperwork and my concerns and rectified it to the best of his ability. Their service manager was wonderful and went over the issues with me as well. Although my original experience wasn't wonderful this dealership really did reached out to make good and I greatly appreciate that. The best part is that I did purchase a great Honda Pilot that runs great.

I purchased a used vehicle last week from Cramer Honda and Jim Timpson was the salesman I dealt with. The vehicle I bought wasn't very expensive, however I was treated as though I were buying a $50k vehicle. Very respectful and kind. I did end up paying more than I thought I would, but I still feel very happy with my new/used car. They were VERY accommodating and took very good care to insure my happiness. Buying a car based on internet pictures can be disheartening, however dealing with Jim Timpson and the internet was awesome! Jim was very friendly and truthful. There were no pictures of the inside of the car but Jim went out to the car and called me, he talked me through the car, he told me of any scrathes, scrapes and bumps; and sure enough the car was just as Jim described.I drove an hour to see this car and was very happy that Jim was truthful! Cramer Honda has been the best dealership I ever worked with. Rob Goodman, my salesman, was so wonderful. He assisted me in getting the car of my dreams and was just so wonderful to work with. He had great respect for me as a customer and for my budget, he was just so kind, courteous and professional, this is a man that is good for his word and follows up to be sure that everything goes just right. He made my shopping for a vehicle a pleasant experience. I want to thank Tim Platt, the Sales manager for going the extra mile in making my car one that was within my budget with true sincerity, there was no game playing, just honest dealing. I never once felt like they were trying to force me or push me into something I didn't want. They were amazing!! I want to thank Rafael Torres, the Financial Manager. I already came into the dealership with my own auto loan from a credit union, and my credit union told me not to let the dealership look into another loan because it would hit my credit. Rafael asked me to give him a chance and only to do soft qualifying which wouldn't hurt my credit and see if he could find me a better rate. Well Rafael did it!! He saved me almost an entire percentage over my credit union and that over a 5 year term saved me money!! Thank you so much!! Once I purchased my new Odyssey, I was so excited I went to the parts department and made several purchases, one of which was a full nose piece. While visiting my stepmother in Punta Gorda, and after searching the internet for the best cars for short people, (Honda Accord is very High on that list), we decided to visit Cramer Honda in Venice aon a Friday. My Dad had purchased a Toyota Truck at Cramer, and she remembered having a good experience--so we decided to go back. (I drive that Toyota Tundra daily, and it is a great truck!)We met Al Issa who courteously answered all of our questions, and was very knowledgeable about the vehicles we were interested in--which included a 2015 Accord, a 2012 Accord, and the 2015 CRV. It was the end of the month, and Al would have liked to close a deal that day, but he graciously accepted that we were not going to buy that day, and we went home to think it over and do our homework. When we returned on Monday, we called ahead, and Al had the cars we wanted her to test drive right at the front door when we got there. After determining that she wanted a 2015 Honda Accord Ex-L, we shared our research and made an offer. After a bit of negotiation, we had a deal.My Mother is very happy with the vehicle, and we went away from Cramer of Venice having had a great experience--we recommend it to all!

Jim & Dan did a great job getting a workable price and important service information ready for when I got there from Ohio. They even called another dealer that serviced the vehicle to get the info. With an out the door price we just had to stop in and look at it and drive it. We bought it as is and that night the service engine soon light came on. I called them up and took it in to have them look at it. Even though it was sold as is they split the cost with me to make the repairs. Go to Cramer and ask for Bill Moser! We went to Cramer to replace my mother-in-law's CRV. We drove several miles out of our way due to issues she had had with the nearest dealer to her. We worked with Bill Moser and it couldn't have been a more pleasant experience. He and his manager Tim worked within the income constraints she had and made a deal that worked for her. She now has a brand new CRV and worry free driving (extended warranty) for several years and a back up camera (which was a must). She is happy and Bill has called more than once to check on her. Everyone knows car buying/leasing can be extremely stressful. I was introduced to Lance by a friend who had done business with him before. Lance handled my situation over the phone, preapproved me, and set everything up for me to be ready the next day. Upon arrival, Jason met me at the door, introduced himself and from then on, i knew everything was in good hands. He was completely up-front on the telephone,matched a competitive offer, and made sure everything was as advertised.He worked efficiently and didn't waste my time or try to redirect me to ahigher-margin car. When the floor mats I'd ordered weren't in the day Ipicked up the car, he had them shipped. He went out of his way to offera tip on a temporary tag for the old car I was selling privately thatended up saving me a couple of hundred dollars. Cramer Honda tacks ona lower (and fully disclosed) dealer fee than most other area Hondadealers and didn't add any hidden "dealer options." They're stillmaking a healthy profit, but they do it without bait-and-switch tactics.If I had to buy a new car again, I'd be happy to consider Cramer Honda.

After several visits, he called us to say he may have a Honda for us and he did and he sold it to us. This past week I was getting the Honda serviced and I saw a Pickup Truck they had on the lot. We were looking for a used car with specific requirements. We have owned Accords in the past, but have been Toyota owners recently. Contacted Jim Timpson regarding an accord advertised online. After driving down to see the vehicle, I was pleased that Jim was so open to learning what our needs were. He took to time to go over several cars in their inventory to make sure we were seeing the right car for us. Jim never pushed us towards the purchase of any particular vehicle. He simply relayed the facts about each car and let us decide for ourselves. Once we narrowed our choices it was simple. The internet pricing of the car we selected was right in line with what our research showed to be a fair price. There wasn't any uncomfortable haggling and the dealership worked with us on a couple small issues to make the car exactly what we wanted. Jim's follow up has been superb making sure everything is right with the car. We are very pleased with our choice and we appreciate the way Jim helped, but did not push us into our decision. I have often felt that car salesmen have certain inventory they are pushing and they cloud our real needs with what their needs are. Jim never gave that impression. It was going to be our car and it needed to be right for our needs.It was a very pleasant, comfortable buying experience.

My husband was ill and could not accompany me to the dealership. I was nervous about conducting this transaction on my own, but Wayne and the rest of the staff made my first leasing experience as easy and stress free as possible. I believe they went above and beyond what might be expected from a dealership. I recently purchased a used Honda Civic from Cramer Honda of Venice. In 2008 I had gone to the dealership and was so poorly treated that I vowed to never go there again. That is until last week when I chose to let go of the old anger and give the dealership another chance. Well, I can tell you the experience was totally different from beginning to end. It started with an email first thing Saturday morning and ended with a purchase Saturday before dinner. Jim Timpson (Internet Manager) emailed me and then followed up with a pleasant (non-pushy) call to say that he would hold the car for me so that I could test drive it in the early afternoon. Sure enough when I got to the dealership (which was packed solid) he was waiting for me and when I mentioned his name at the door, the first salesman graciously took me to him. Jim came with me for a test drive and when I made the decision to proceed with the purchase he introduced Tim Platt (used car manager) to me who as well was kind, caring and worked with me to finalize the deal. Also, Paul Brunette (Business Manager) went over the numbers with me and invited an opportunity for me to ask questions. We were initially not sure if we wanted to get a car or an SUV, but had in mind that we wanted to drive the CRV and the Accord because they are both comparable in size, engine, etc. We drove the Accord and then the CRV. We fell in love with the Accord. We test drove several other "comparable" vehicles and there was no comparison. When we walked in, we were greeted by Jason Berlin, he was very informative on the vehicles and listened to our needs/wants and found a perfect match. We checked out other dealers and pricing and told them the staff at Cramer Honda where we wanted to be and what we wanted. They were able to work a great deal for us! We worked with Jason the entire time & would highly recommend him. He is easy going, no pressure and he listens! Jim Timpson, is the "Best of the Best", in my book!!My husband and I were warmly greeted by Jim Timpson, when we entered Cramer Honda of Venice, last weekend, on April 27th. We told him that we were shopping, and that we already owned a 2004 Honda Odyssey, and thought it might be a good time to look into a new Odyssey. We like Odyssey's, because we enjoy sitting in a "chair", rather than sitting on the "floor" of a smaller vehicle. We are senior citizens, and we feel the Odyssey's are more comfortable, and safer, to drive in.Jim Timpson, was very understanding, as to our wants in a vehicle. I truly love Cramer Honda. Living in Port Charlotte and having a dealership right down the road is nice but the service I receive in Venice is worth the 30 -40 minute drive to this dealership. The sales people are so friendly and NEVER pushy to just make a sale. They actually let you look at the cars rather than make you feel like you are writing their paycheck. Wayne in internet sales is probably the most honest salesperson I have ever dealt with at any dealership. Troy is very knowledgeable in finance and when you say no to the "extras" he doesn't push you into feeling like you are making a mistake, he simply respects your decision, another nice change of pace in the car dealership world. If zero or negative as a rating were possible, they'd be deserving. I purchased a used vehicle from Cramer that was advertised with the vin matching the vehicle I bought, a tow package and a roof rack. No tow package or roof rack was actually on the vehicle. We were told, "We (Cramer) have an agency that writes those ads and they're not always accurate. Besides, you already purchased the vehicle." We were also told the tires were all new when only two of them were. We had preapproved financing from our credit union but they assured us that they could do a better deal. In our attempt to hurry out of there because it was late, we didn't notice the multiple scams the finance department ran on us. About $4,000 in unneccesary warranty, gap insurance, etc. was subsequently added to the price. We called the salesman the next day....no response. Called the manager, Chris...no response. After days of being ingnored and now absolutely seething in anger my husband drives there only to get the "don't curse snd scream at me" response. Here's a bit of info Cramer Honda, if you were an honest dealership that actually cared enough to NOT violate and screw your customers and to respond in a timely manner, he wouldn't have been as angry as he was. The end result was NOTHING!! We cancelled the additional crap they put on but the rest of the dishonesty and violation remains a financial obligation on us. To add salt to the wound, we received a letter in the mail today saying Cramer didn't charge us enough for the registration on our new vehicle and we owe another $90. Oh, and if we don't pay it promptly they will inform the DMV to block future renewals or replacements. SHAME ON YOU CRAMER HONDA!! You screwed us!Sent from Tracy Winter-Deleacaes

My wife and I visited Cramer Honda of Venice seeking pricing on a new Honda. We have been Honda owners for several years and are sold on the product and its reliablity. The salesman who greeted us, Jimmy Soravilla, was extremely friendly and very patient with us. We originally anticipated that we were interested in an Odyssey. However, a Pilot on the show floor really caught our eye. Jimmy arranged to have us take a test ride in a Pilot. Unlike most dealerships where the test ride is about a 5-7 minute ride, Jimmy insisted we get a good feel for the vehicle and graciously let us take an extended ride which included having a highway experience. The entire test ride, accompanied by Jimmy's obvious knowledge of the product as well as his calm, non-pushy, selling approach really sold us on the car and the dealership. Jimmy insisted that we also take a ride in an Odyssey to ensure we were happy we were making the right decision. That was a good call on his part as it really did cement our decision on the Pilot. We felt throughout the entire process that Jimmy really wanted to ensure we had a great experience and that we were convinced that Cramer Honda of Venice cared about us as buyers. Jimmy succeeded!!! Kevin did a good job explaining the new equipment for our use and was available when needed this past week.Additionally, in the business department, , Paul Brunette , provided exception service rewriting our buyers order to provide us with a paper trail of the purchase and Pat had already taken care of the rewrite on the financing so that the purchase is now very satisfactory. Most likely, the best experience we had in buying a new car. We owe it all to Internet Salesperson,Wayne Young who we felt extremely comfortable with. His demeanor was just what we were looking for. No slick salesmen of the kind you find at most dealerships. This type of person turns us off instantly. Wayne is unique as he possesses the qualities we like working with. He's down to earth and that's a quality few sales people possess. I don't normally write reviews, but feel the need to acknowledge great customer service. I consider myself to be an educated consumer especially when making major purchases. Since I live in Naples, FL I did my homework by contacting Honda dealers south of Tampa on both the West and East Coasts of Florida...as I was willing to travel for the right price. When I contacted Cramer Honda I initially spoke with Wayne Young on the phone. I told him that I was shopping dealerships and looking for his best bottom line pricing that he can offer. He was very pleasant to speak with and was straight forward with his offer. His bottom line pricing was well below all local dealers and others that I spoke with on the phone, by a handsome sum. I continued to contact other dealers and told them of my best offer that I had received from Cramer Honda, to see if they can beat the price. All of the dealerships could not come close to the numbers from Cramer Honda and most said that I would never get it for the quoted price and that it would be a "bait and switch" attempt when I would get there. Being skeptical, I again contacted Wayne to confirm the out the door price and told him I was driving about 100 miles and I will not negotiate any further beyond the quoted price...he said he will have the keys ready. When I arrived Wayne was working with another couple and came out to greet me. He said that he was going to be tied up for a bit, but his co-worker Al Issa would take care of me. At this time I was not happy as I had a feeling the games were about to begin. After a quick test ride with Al, we walked back into the office. I told him that I had already negotiated the price with Wayne on the phone and he said that he was aware. He said that he just had to go to the manager's office. Before he left I told him that I was not there to go back and forth with any further negotiating...he said not to worry. He returned with the manager who congratulated me on my new purchase of a Honda Accord. I was surprised at how easy this sale had been, as I always dread shopping for a new car. I highly recommend Cramer Honda for their pricing and straight forward customer service. Although I enjoy my new Honda Accord, I have to say my most favorite part was speaking to the other dealerships when they called to follow-up...especially the ones that said I would never get that vehicle for the quoted price. I left tampa feeling very disappointed from visiting two very unprofessional dealerships there, online I found a certified 2008 Accord EX-L V6 for a few thousand less than KBB's value, the next day I left cramer honda with that car at an even better price ($3200 under window sticker) and a good warranty, free maintenace, road hazard, everything.The car is beautiful, low mileage, and looks inside and out like it has sat in a garage its whole life. I am very thankful for the whole staff specially Fred, but they were all very professional and helpful. We will most probably be back to purchase an Odyssey.

On August 17, 2013 we called the dealership to inquire about the availability of 2 advertised used civics. We were clear we were driving about 90 miles and wanted to make sure they were still available. We were told, they would check and get back to us in about 30 minutes. We did receive a call back and were assured both Honda civics were still available.About 2 hours later, we were greeted at the door by Jimmy, the salesman we had the previous phone conversation with. After sitting for few minutes, Jimmy informs us the two civics has been sold the prior day. He proceeded to "sell us" on alternative vehicles, one of which was several thousand dollars more than our price range. I declined, but then the sales manager showed up, and again, pushing other used vehicles on us.I declined. Never once, did either gentleman offer an apology for what was a classic "bait & switch' or at the very lease incompetence. We purchased a civic within the hour at another dealer in the area.

Very upset with this dealer! My daughter who is 25, purchased a 2006 Volkswagen Jetta from this dealer, by herself. (First mistake) After 2 weeks, battery dies, which, is understandable. After 4 months, entire A/C system goes out. Mechanic said $1300.00 - $1500.00 to repair. She calls dealer and is told "as is", nothing we can do. She now owes $8000.00 on a car with over 80,000 miles, no A/C, and they won't even offer to look at it. She is a single mom, just making ends meet, and she will have to turn this vehicle back in. My wife and I had spent a lot of time researching and checking out Honda Odyssey's within a 100 mile radius of where we live. After not having much luck closer to home we decided to venture out to Venice, FL and contacted Cramer Honda. Their Internet prices were really good. Actually I believed they were too good to be true. So, I admit I went there skeptical. We had already been burned at Port Charlotte Honda where we were told the Internet prices were too low and they couldn't honor them, they were just to get people in the door.When we arrived at 6:30pm Jim was waiting for us and took us over to the three vehicles we had talked with him about over the phone. After a couple test drives we decided to make an offer on one of them. They accepted our offer and an hour later we were on the road in a new to us 2011 Honda Odyssey EX-L with low miles and navigation. Jim was excellent to work with and so was Tim the Sales Manager. We were never pressured to buy anything, nor did they ever try to get us into a more expensive vehicle. We also got an unbelievable price. Literally thousands of dollars lower than any place we had looked prior to Cramer Honda. And on top of that we got a great deal on our trade. Cramer Honda is top notch. I can't recommend them enough. Buying a car is one of the most stressful things, and they made it a breeze. I wish we had driven up to Venice when we first started mini van shopping so we could have avoided a couple weeks of stress.We arrived at 6:30pm and really appreciated that Jim, Tim, and Paul stayed late to take care of us and they never once made us feel bad that they were working late. Jim even called us a few minutes after we left to make sure we knew how to get back to I-75, which was good since we actually were a bit turned around.5 stars for Jim and the team at Cramer Honda. On 5/21/13 my husband and I went to Cramer Honda in Venice with the idea of buying a new Honda Civic and we had a figure in mind that we would be willing to pay to get this vehicle. Kevin Mazorra, the sales person, introduced himself and he could not have been more pleasant, professional and helpful at directing us to the level of Civic that best suited our needs and desires. In a short time after discussing a price and having the manager okay it we were the proud owners of the Civic. Kevin made it easy for us to move out of an older car into a new Honda that we are very pleased to own. Paul Brunette, the Business Manager, was also pleasant and helpful with the signing of all the required Florida forms.We will definitely recommend Cramer Honda and although we live 30 miles away we will be going back for service. We purchased tires for our CRV at Cramer Honda because of a buy 3, get one free sale they offered. We were told the tires were not in stock but would arrive a few days later. We then scheduled a service appointment on the date when the tires were to arrive. When we dropped of the car to have the tires installed, we learned the tired had not arrived. While the delay in delivery of the tires was blamed on UPS, it seems to me that the dealer should have called us before we came in to let us know the tires had not yet arrived.

We were in the market for a replacement car for my wife who does minimal driving. We stopped by this dealership on February 28. Salesman Al handled our search and was personable, professional and accomodating. He found the vehicle we wanted and a couple of hours later, we drove it out of the lot. As a precaution, we had our mechanic check for any problems. He discovered an oil leak. I made contact with Lance O'Fallon, the general manger, to check to see if our limited warrantee would cover the cost of the repair. Mr. O'Fallon could not have been more helpful and scheduled a service appointment with us for Monday, April 30. When we brought the car in, Andy, the service advisor, knew about the problem from Mr. O'Fallon. Andy, too, was very accommodating and made thiings go smoothly for us. Later that day, Andy called to say the leak had been repaired at no cost.From Mr. O'Fallon on down, our experience with Cramer Honda in Venice was a pleasant one. it's very refreshing to deal with a dealership with honest, upright people who care. My visit to Cramer Honda with an elderly relative (T) was intended to be simply fact finding - T had been driving a pick-up truck since her husband became disabled and could no longer drive. It was decided that she and I would do some looking around to find out what vehicle would best suit her to drive, while keeping in mind that her husband would also need to be comfortable in the passenger seat. T and I were greeted at the Cramer Honda of Venice door by Curtis, and he invited us to his desk to talk about what T had in mind. However, since she had not car shopped for decades, she felt overwhelmed by the choices out there, but Curtis' pertinent questions and excellent listening skills quickly zeroed in on 2 choices for starters. The first vehicle was a bit too big for T to easily get in and out of. The second was perfect - perfect size, color, comfort, and cost and the rest is now history. Curtis invited T and me to take the car for a spin around the block, during which time T fell more in love with the little car, and he then went further to suggest that we go back to T's home for her husband to see and, hopefully, approve of. He liked her choice, and found being in the passenger seat thoroughly acceptable and comfortable. Once the purchase was underway, Rick and Paul spoke with T in clear, informative manners, making sure all of her questions and concerns were addressed. In the end, T was more pleased than she ever expected to be about a new car and, although one may ask if she really did go ahead and buy a car so early in her search, the answer is simple - we obviously picked the right dealership to begin with!

My experience with Cramer Honda is very stressful. They will contact you numerous times to get you to their dealership to PURCHASE a vehicle. Once you purchase the vehicle, that is where the customer service ends. I brought my vehicle there to have a "wax" treatment done and when they finished with the vehicle, I was never contacted. I had to " jumpthrough hoops" to pick up my vehicle. The SALES DEPT. said someone would call me about the problem with not getting contacted, no one ever called. The last contact I had with the company was to ask someone to call me back for a question I had about the "wax" treatment that was applied to my car. I waited all afternoon. My boyfriend contacted the General Manager via voice mail and never got a call back. Finally he called again and spoke to RICK and the reason no one called me back was because they were" busy trying to sell cars." My question to Rick is what happens AFTER you purchase the car. No one really cares at that dealership. I had a bad first impression of the dealership, I should have followed my instincts. Too bad I signed on to have routine maintenance there, I do not feel comfortable going back there.

Very expensive added costs, from what the salesman and the business manager had written down, $800 for "gap" insurance. Not happy at all. With the flurry of paperwork signing, I see that I paid for a warranty and paint sealant, $3400. This cost was not discussed at all. My fault, in trusting people. I will not go back to this dealership again. I will make sure others know about their tactics.

On 17 Dec I took my 1995 Honda Accord EX to your facility. RO5888 Drew did a nice job checking me in and then told me that following a diagnostic check they would call me and present my options. I received a call informing me that there was a cracked distributor housing and that it plus cap etc. would need to be replaced due to leaking oil and the cost would be 820 dollars approx. I questioned Orlando as to the unit being cracked and I was assured this was the problem. I gave authorization an work was completed as priced and I picked up the vehicle. I also requested and was given the failed part. I then took that unit to another Master Mechanic and sought an opinion. He explained that he has changed many such units and couold not note any cracked part on the original distributor housing. He then explained that the seal around the rotor had failed and tht oil leaked from tht point causing the problem. He stated that replacement of the rubber seal (about the size of a quarter) would cost about 12 dollars and repair could vary but would be under 100 dollars without question. I hope I hve provided enough "why" so you understand my concern. I have had service with your facility before and been satisfied and I have sought cars from you but purchased across the street at the other Cramer facility.

Shopping and buying a car can be very stressful...but from the first exchange, the staff and sales persons at Cramer Honda were courteous and eager to help, not pushy at any stretch of the imagination. They followed-up the initial visit with an inquiry of the experience and asked if they could be of further assistance. Bobby (and Tim) were extremely accommodating in trying to get us exactly what we wanted! (Even so much as to include our two children in the conversation at times.) I would, without any hesitation, refer all of my family and friends to Cramer Honda of Venice. I have no intention of ever purchasing a car from any other dealership.

Please permit me to thank and recognize the staff who diligently and with a courteous, friendly spirit waited on us on 9/29/12. We received a royal treatment, from Bill Moser's initial contact via phone, to Tim's (one of the managers) clear, concise explanation of the leasing procedure, to Phil's impeccably precise handling of all the paper work, figures, etc. It was a godsend that Nathan's hog dogs were part of our luncheon (Provided without cost to the customer on Saturdays) because my husband, a diabetic, needed food while we purchased our vehicle. I felt so at home that at times, I took my shoes off to relax.... that's the treatment a customer will receive in dealing with Cramer's Honda: relaxed, friendly, professional...and hot dogs on Saturday! What more could a customer desire?
