Since I typically wait for my car I really like that the waiting area allows to to set up a mobile office and not miss any time away from work. In the past when purchasing a car, from other dealers, because of sales pressure, the vehicle I ended up buying wasn't the car I originally wanted. I didn't experience any pressure from Jorge to pay for "add ons" which can jack up the price considerably. I wanted a basic Forester with automatic transmission, which he found in another location. He kept me informed about the estimated arrival of the car in the dealership, and the day after it arrived he met with me to finalize the sale. Jorge was easy to work with, answered all my questions, and even offered to bring my car manual to my house after I had accidentally left it at the dealership. I would recommend Jorge to anyone who is in the market for a car.

I recently purchased my first Subaru and Jorge had a big influence on my buying decision. He answered all my questions, was extremely honest and found the exact car that I was looking for. Their inventory was excellent and I never got the high pressure sell feel. After having my new Outback for four weeks I am very pleased with my decision and have no regrets.I travel for my job and rent cars at the airports. I've driven many high end luxury sedans and SUVs. My Outback is equal or better than vehicles twice the price.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Kim Ventura. This is the 40th vehicle I have purchased so I have experienced many pressure sales tactics used by car sales personnel in the past. My experience with Kim was such a pleasant change from the old pressure cooker feeling when dealing with car dealerships. I got a quick response when requesting a price via the internet, and when going in to make the final deal I was pleasantly surprised to not have to also have to deal with anyone else. Finding a car dealership, service advisor and mechanic one can trust is difficult, IMO.A few weeks ago I had the pleasure to work with service advisor Taylor on our Legacy.My service experience was the best possible and could not be improved. Buying my new Subaru Outback was a great experience, all thanks to Kim! I was moving to Longmont from out of state, so I was doing most of my looking online. I was put in touch with Kim, and she made sure I had everything I needed to make an informed decision. I knew I could come to her anytime with any questions or uncertainties I had. I found the Outback I wanted and Kim reserved it until I could complete my move out to Colorado. Friendly staff but couldn't get a deal I was happy with. Was not able to remove window etching from add ons and paperwork included more fees than competitors. Car was priced way under invoice but after all the dealer add ons it was back to msrp. Not a bad price yet one phone call to a competitor yeilded the results I was looking for and was able to save a good chunk of money. Had a good experience, just not able to nagotiate to a price I was happy with.

I worked with Becca the first few times we came to do some test drives. She guided us well and showed us what we were interested in, calling us the day you had the bronze Forrester. We saw it that night and loved it but wanted to come back the next day to see it in the light, Becca was off that day. Kim took over and we did the test drive. It had more bells and whistles then I wanted, but in the end I drove it home. Both ladies did a great job in answering all our questions. Also Dylan did a great job in getting all the papers signed and explaining the additional options within a short time.I have always been happy with your service department as well.

I find Ryan compared to the dealer I have been and believe me I went to dozens , of make a kind I found Longmont Subaru the easiest , honest , no pressure dealership , Ryan was honest , good listener of my needs and very patient . He is the easiest dealer I dealt with , also their manager Jake was kind and very reasonable fair kind of guy , the finance Adam although showed some option to spend more money was not push over guy , I will give the Longmont Subaru a five star , even they are 54 miles away from me I bought my first Subaru Outback 3.6 R Touring from them and feel confident they will take care of my needs regarding my vehicle .

Saber answered my request for information about Subaru vehicles. I asked about the Crosstrek after veiwing competing vehicles. Jorge brought the Crosstrek to my home, about 18 miles from the dealership. We went over all of the features of the Crosstrek, and Jorge knew his stuff. We drove back to the dealership where I leased the vehicle. It was a pleasant experience! A close friend and neighbor liked my Crosstrek so much that he went to Valley Subaru and purchased a Crosstrek yesterday, two weeks after I got mine. That should say something about the vehicle and the dealership.

'Ive never been treated so well by service folks these guys are both truly professional. Greg has always been courteous and professional and one time went way out of his way when i was trying to buy a used Subaru for my college age daughter. He looked at a used Subaru and showed us how rusted and corroded it was. Really he saved us from making a terrible mistake. He tried to help get us into a lease by handing us off yo a sales person but we (my daughter could not afford it but at least we did not make a fatal mistake of purchasing a car that would have not been right for my daughter.Roger is a true gentleman as well who recently when my tire had a problem took care of us in every way possible. I bought a 2016 WRX and had some minor problems with the electronics (door locks and stereo). after bringing it in a few times and hearing me complain about it, the Management asked me if I wouldn't just like to upgrade to a 2017 model instead. They sat down with me and worked with me and I ended up moving to a 2017 STI at a greatly reduced price. The sales staff and management really went out of their way to ensure that I was happy and to get me the greatest deal ever on the car I wanted. I'm really, really grateful at how easy they made it to get me into a newer, better car to solve my problems.I highly recommend Valley Subaru ! thanks Tom and Saber !

Backstory: I am going through a "credit crisis" and wanted to purchase a four wheel drive because I'm from down south and I feel like that is necessary in Colorado. Anywho I went to a Subaru dealer in Fort Collins and didn't get approved for a vehicle and I did not think that it was a terrible experience I thought I just didn't have what it took to get approved for a car loan at the moment... And then today I realized how terrible that other dealership experience was!So I set up an appointment with Kim at Valley, I was a little nervous about making the commute to the dealership just to get rejected again so I sent in my credit application and she said I needed to come in and appraise my trade-in and I put it in my head that I was not going to be able to get a car today because I just got rejected two weeks ago from a local dealer by my house. So I meet Kim and she has the best personality! She treated me like a best friend and yet she was professional but fun and perfect for my personality ! She gave me Oreos when my blood sugar was low (it's the little things) and she was confident during everything and let me test drive the car while Dion and Josh in finance worked some magic and numbers with my challenging situation (both dudes are awesome and helped make the whole buyer experience outstanding) Anyways they think OUTSIDE the box and somehow got my payments to close to what I pay already for my Chevy Cruz AND gave me 1500.00 MORE on my trade in than the local dealer by my house!! I don't like throwing other dealers under the bus so I won't name any because it could have been an off day but I had such a better experience at Valley in Longmont and it was worth the trip!! Here's a tip from me: screw the Boulder and Fort Collins dealers, make a call to Kim and make sure Dion and Josh work out the numbers and it will blow your mind!

My experience at Longmont Subaru was Fast, easy, and relaxing. Saber was my Sales Rep and provide great customer service with no pressure to buy. He is very knowledgeable of Subaru Vehicles and provided a great explanation of the accessories in my 2016 Crosstrek. He also was a great negotiator with the manager to get the price I wanted. Only recommendation would be to lower your dealership fee, but I would definitely come back to Longmont Subaru due to the no pressure sales.

My wife and I had just returned from a 3,000 mile vacation/road trip in my Subaru XV Crosstrek.I called early Saturday morning 7/16 and asked if they could squeeze me in for oil change? I informed them that I live in Lakewood (45 minute drive), and purchased my car from them. Greg G. asked how soon can I get there? I arrived at 10:30 and was out the door in 1 hour! Greg G. went through everything Oil change, Tire rotation, and a car wash (needed after 2 days driving back to Colorado from the U.P. of Michigan) and that my cabin filter was disgusting and changed it out for me! Excellent service experience and would recommend Greg G. And Valley Subaru to anyone!

This was absolutely THE BEST Car buying experience ever!!!! I worked with both Derek Boyd and Ryan Hall and I would highly recommend both of them to anyone and I've already sent a friend their way. Both Derek and Ryan were very polite, courteous, patient with all my questions and very knowledgeable about the Outback limited and all of its complex features! There was absolutely no pressure from Derek or Ryan just helpful support during the entire process. I had called ahead to let the dealership know I was coming and that I didn't have a lot of time and due to illness needed to keep my time at the dealership to a minimum. I informed them that this would be the 3rd Subaru I purchased from Valley Subaru them. They were ready for me when I arrived and assigned Derek to work with me. As I already knew what car I wanted the process was easy and straight forward. My sale was a bit unusual as I was not only trading in my old Forester but was going to be trading in my husbands newer Mazda as well. Derek was very supportive and efficient and worked with me in two short intervals on the first day to evaluate the trade-ins. The next morning I called Derek and told him the bottom line number I was looking for and he returned my call a little later and we were able to work out a great price over the phone. Later that afternoon I went in and Ryan Hall took me out for a drive (really an education session) on my new Outback limited. Ryan was extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of my new car, the iSight system, voice activated navigation system, and all the other bells and whistle. I receive a complete training session and left the lot knowing so much about my new car and it's systems. I've been back twice for window tinting and miscellaneous followup paperwork and both times Derek answered some minor additional detailed questions I had and even stayed late one evening to make sure he could help me! I will of course continue to get all of my service done at Valley as I have with my other Subaru's Roger and his team in the service department are fantastic as well. They are very courteous, patient and supportive. They take the time to explain what needs to be done now, why and what could wait for awhile. They are great!

I had "signed up" on a site, inviting dealers to discuss my interest in a Subaru Impreza hatchback. I figured that I would hear from a few, then arrive at the dealer to haggle. To my shock, Morgan called me within minutes, offering me a new Impreza for $1,500 less than I expected to pay. She was a pleasure to talk with, and told me the extras that were included (such as extending the power train warranty). I especially appreciated NO PRESSURE! This price was less than the used Imprezas that I was considering on cars.com. My husband and I arrived that evening and bought the car after a test drive. They even gave us a really good price on the trade-in of our old pick-up (remember, we already knew the price of the car!) What a great car buying experience! Morgan was professional, organized, funny, and not pushy at all.

This is my first Subaru vehicle and first vehicle purchase. I was probably one of the last few clients in the dealership that Friday night and although it was late, Cali and Dion were very patient, easy to work with, and explained everything thoroughly. Derek, who was the dealer for my car, had a great customer service and did everything he could do help us out to find the car that I wanted. However, the only reason why I gave 4 star is because of the finance team, when I walked in there, we had no explanation and he just threw us documents to sign without even explaining what they are and what it does. I purchased my first Subaru at Valley Subaru of Longmont on 3/31/2016 and I am very happy with the whole shopping and deal-closing experience. Here's why -1)Internet Sale - after I decided it's time to buy a new car, I did a lot of research via internet, including searching dealer inventories and emailing for price quotes from selected dealers. Since it's my first Subaru, I've never worked with Valley before. Jason worked with me on the pricing and negotiation. His email quote was detailed and itemized. The negotiation was done over email and was straightforward with no tricks played. Valley's price was most attractive, but we made decision to purchase from them not solely based on the price, but also based on the gut-feeling after we finally met the sales reps. After we liked the price, I sent my husband over to Valley to test drive the car. At first, he was told a price higher than what we agreed over email, but it was soon cleared and honored by Valley. We went over again that night to close the deal and I met Morgan. She is a very nice and friendly lady. She made sure the car was detailed and freshly washed and gave me plenty of time to inspect the cars exterior and interior.2)Deal Closing After we told Morgan we would buy the car, she introduced us to Jorge, their sales rep. Jorge is young and friendly. He was responsible for going through sales paperwork with us. Jorge also demonstrated car functions to me in detail. I was in an information overload mood (from a 2005 car to 2016 car), but Jorge was attentive and patient.3)Financing we worked with Dion on financing. He looks young, therefore, for a few minutes, I wasnt sure we were actually started financing process. Dion is knowledgeable and persuasive, but not unpleasantly pushy. Ive purchased a couple of cars in the past, never liked any of the financing guys, but we like Dion. He gracefully accepted our decision of not purchasing additional options. Never for a minute he made us feel uncomfortable. 4)Service and Part I wanted body-side moldings on my car and they had to be ordered and installed later. The price we agreed included the molding and the free installation. We went back earlier this week to get it done. Again, it was straightforward process, no tricks! I talked to Tim in Parts and Greg in Services handled the appointment for molding installation. Both guys were friendly and responsible. Overall, I am very happy with the purchasing experience. This is an honest dealership with a team of qualified and friendly staff. To be honest, at the beginning of the process, Valley was just a name on the dealer list I was requesting price quotes. I am happy to relate my experience. I give Morgan (salesperson) high marks and think such a statement is meaningless without additional comments.She was attentive and not overbearing. She cut to the chase and was very direct about my needs with respect to a purchase. I am that way and I appreciate when someone realizes that I know my price point and I will walk if I am not quickly satisfied with the dealer's ability to reach their price point and communicate with me quickly if we have room to reach an agreement.I know it is probably personal preference yet I like Morgan as a person so that probably should not count because that will vary. Were Morgan to present in a more corporate dress I really don't care for that. I felt like the dealer has the margins to let employees be comfortable presenting what they consider their professional appearance and most people walking in to a dealer are not going to be is a suit and tie. I have plenty of suits and wear them only in business meetings where the negotiation is at least several $100,000 in value. Since Colorado is a Subaru state it is fitting to be a bit more casual which actually come off as more professional.I do feel as if she handled the deal with the right amount of breathing room so that I could attend to my calculations and wrap my head around the numbers. She was knowledgeable about the Subaru vehicles and was quick to check the inventory. She even suggested the vehicle I ended up selecting. Another thing I appreciate is that Morgan was precise in handling my USAA online request for a vehicle. She interviewed first about my preferences so that she could matrix the buying options in order to match inventory to my sorted preferences. This turned out to point me to a slightly different vehicle which was to my benefit. The takeaway here is that Morgan only showed me vehicles that I was interested in and hence did not waste my time. I felt like she had actually read my requirement ahead of time. I came in to the dealer shortly after my online request which meant that Morgan had reviewed the information quickly and accurately.The only suggestion for the dealer in general is to price any trade in value as high as possible. Otherwise it gives the impression that you are trying to low ball the customer and I would suspect that some who are not savvy could get taken advantage of w/r to their trade in. Word gets around and it is not worth it these days with such a quick rumor mill in cyberspace. I had to negotiate what I thought was a low trade in offer. I don't like that. You know how much a trade in is worth and I spent a great deal of effort keeping my previous car in excellent condition. Otherwise the experience was something I would recommend. In fact I dealt with Valley because of a recommendation. It is a competitive market and you can never afford to be off your game. CI is essential.

Just got a new Impreza from Valley Subaru last week. Calixto is a very kindly and patient man that helped a lot in my purchasing. My old car died 2 months ago, and I had no time to go to the dealership to choose a new one. So I asked a quote by email from several dealerships nearby at the end of Feb. Cali told me the model I want was out of stock, the new car would arrive at March 18th. And I didn't get a satisfactory quote from other dealers. During the following 3 weeks, I was so busy and didn't care about the new car any more. But Cali keep contact me during this time and offered a lot of information. Up until last week, it's spring break, I got some time to contact those dealers and got the best deal from Cali. But the story is not over yet, When I got to the dealership. The car I want was sold, I really regretted that I didn't reserve it. So I was told that need wait about 3 days for the new car transit, but actually it was 8 days due to the snow storm. However, Cali arranged a loaner car for me to drive for free during those days. And he also helped a lot in our payment processing. We knew what we wanted. They were rare. Luckily this dealer had the exact car.Then came the part I always hate... getting a price. We have EXCELLENT credit and cash for a big down payment. But sometimes in the past sealing the deal was tough.We got lucky that a kind of bad snow storm caused less traffic so the dealership was anxious to move the car. I did my homework, I knew what I wanted to pay. I was surprised when Morgan's over email quoted price was $500 lower than my "ok I'd buy it at this price.". To add to that due to the storm they knocked another $500 off. So we were in the show room and I just had to try. I pulled out my checkbook, started to write then said, how about another $250 off and some extras. She walked over to the manager and came back thumbs up.We drove away that night with our exact desired car and paid a price that was at the FAR LEFT of the True Car bell curve and I mean FAR LEFT.Now don't feel sorry for Valley... They got their service contract. With a car this complex I was glad to pay a little extra for something that would guarantee the car would be fixed with minimal expense to myself. I know this is where lots of deals make it back. They did... and I truly hope we never use that contract. But if we bust the windshield or one of the computers goes out... I know it will be well worth it.Can't recommend Valley and Morgan enough.

We took my grandma in to look at a new 2016 Subaru Outback. We were impressed with how patient Calixto (often referred to as "Cali") was with my grandma (she isn't very patient or nice to deal with. He was patient, explained the car and the TONS of technology in the vehicle to her. Tom King was wonderful to deal with (we purchased our own Outback from him a few years ago). From the simple pricing, to the fair trade value on my grandma's used Lexus trade in it was quick and painless, we were in and out of there in less than 2 hours (including the vehicle orientation). Cali is so wonderful. I have literally been from the tip top of Oregon down to central Florida and everywhere in between in search of another car and when Jake (general manager of Valley) hooked me up with Cali, i knew I was in great hands. I originally was going to buy a car from Valley but life happened and I ended up looking for cars all across the nation as I traveled and I can not tell you how many times the salesmen treated me like I didn't know anything. I learned a lot, in fact, about the cars that they had no idea even existed. Shocking. Anyway, 100% of the salesmen I dealt with before returning back to Valley was an absolute waste of time. They treated me how a stereotypical salesman would treat a female, i guess. Then when i would get firm and show that I knew what I was talking about, they never responded back to me. They would tell me they had the car I wanted and then sell it and say they didn't know that was the one i wanted, or they would not know features in the different levels of cars I was looking for, etc...Anyway...I wanted to show the contrast of what I went through before returning to Valley, vs. finally landing back at Valley. When I got to the dealership, Cali opened the door for me and I was greeted by Jake and Cali. I bought a car from Valley before and it took me buying a car with Cali to understand what a car buying experience should be like. My first time i bought a car with Valley, i liked my salesman. He even drove all the way to Estes Park to pick me up so that I could get a car from them. I hate to say it, but, at the time I didn't know that a good salesman should show you things on your new car. Mine didn't He showed very general stuff that I could figure out on my own, right away. Which was fine, because I learned it on my own and I don't want to say anything bad about my ex salesman (who moved to a new state and is no longer with Valley) Well, my old salesman didn't go into depth like Cali did. Cali sat with me and let me think of things to ask and didn't make me feel pressured at all. He took his time with me and made me feel like he cared about the experience and his job. That speaks volumes to me. I can be a tough customer, but, I expect people to do their job and do it well. And he did. He absolutely won me over and when I get my next Subi, i'll go back to him. No doubt! Thank you Jake and Cali for making this experience even better than my first one with y'all!

Since all my children have Subaru's I thought my next car should be one also. While driving by Valley Subaru I decided to just turn in to look around. Saber Boudjada happen to show me a parking space. That minute started a great relationship. Saber knows a great deal about cars and made me feel immediately at ease. He answers all questions politely, with no pressure. I gathered information, liked what I heard, and in a few days did decide the time was right for a new car. Now Saber is teaching me about all the new things on my 21st Century, Legacy. He says I can come back and he will help me as many times as I need. Jason McQueen was also very helpful in the buying process. I had met Jason three years ago, and was surprised he remembered me. Not only that, he remembered I had two cars to trade in, at the time. I would recommend Valley Subaru to everyone. Great car and great people!

I've heard this is one of the fastest growing Subaru dealerships in the country. With that in mind, I would expect the service to slip...but that is exactly opposite of my experience. I have brought my 2005 Outback in several times for oil changes and other services. The staff have always been very friendly, including Greg and others, and I think they are fair and trustworthy and I never get the impression they are wanting to ratchet up the price of the ticket. They help me sort through what actually needs to be fixed, and what doesn't. In a few cases, they haven't charged me for things when it took longer than expected or if it just didn't need it.

We recently has some bad experiences with car dealership in the Albuquerque area. From buying a dud of a vehicle and returning it within 24 hours to be told by the dealership that it was our problem, to dealers not wanting to provide their best pricing or a price for that matter up front. Until I contacted Valley Subaru web site finding a 2016 Outback that had what we wanted and more. They returned my inquiry almost immediately. Then the first time I asked the question about price I received a quote. One better then I had received from any other source in Albuquerque including the USAA buyers program. Then it just got better, I had already established financing but the dealership met the loan rate with an increased loan amount allowing for some added warranties and maintenance program that we would not of got other wise. When I inquired about the added warranties and maintenance details they we provided. We then completed the transaction over the phone, the paper work was Federal Expressed to us we signed it and returned it. The vehicle was delivered to the dealership on schedule for our pick up (FYI we could of had it shipped to us). We arrived at he dealership we met the salesman and internet manager, but of whom were of great assistance. They had the vehicle ready and we received a derailed briefing about the vehicle from the salesman, whom was very knowledgeable. And we were on our way. That was about 3 week ago and we are still learning and enjoying our new 2016 2.3R Outback. R Long

I typically car shop via e-mail and feel very fortunate to have been referred to Ryan Hall. I'm 60 years old and have purchased quite a few cars over the years, and have to say this was the best car buying experience I have encountered. Ryan proved to be very knowledgeable of all the many features the Ouback is equipped with and educated us in a short period of time on how to utilize the features. To narrow it down, the product is great but Ryan is the main reason we didn't second guess our decision to purchase a SubaruI attempted to contact other Subaru dealers via internet, one located in Loveland and they finally got around to contating me 3 weeks after Ryan and I closed the deal. I think this says a lot for Ryan and Valley Subaru that they are there, available and want your business. I'm also in the process of relocating to Birmingham AL and inquired to compare their cost to Valley Subaru. Turns out they could not come near ($3500 greater). Blamed it on Colorado being the highest US state for volume of Subaru sales. Both my husband and I had a great experience working with Ryan and Valley Subaru for purchasing our first new car ever! We didn't feel any sales pressure. The entire sales process was simple and straight-forward and we were able to agree on a price quickly. They were also quite patient with us being that we had our two little ones with us. The service center is also excellent. We had a clear bra put on a few days afterwards as well as a windshield chip repaired and I was impressed with their speed and efficiency in getting the work done. Their waiting room is also very accommodating with lots of toys for the kids.

My son and I worked with Morgan to buy my 2016 outback. We found her knowledgeable, courteous and very helpful. My first new car accidentally hit by a speeding car on its' way to get gas the day before I was to pick it up. Morgan worked to find another car that was comparable and the dealership offered a loaner car until my new car was delivered. Morgan found a beautiful outback and offered to have me look at it to see if it would fit. I loved it and bought that one. I found Morgan to be knowledgeable, and courteous and very accommodating and available. She definitely scored a "10 out of 10" with me. I would recommend Valley Subaru to other car buyers.

This is my third Subaru and first from Valley Subaru of Longmont. Itwas the least stressful purchase of a car that I have made since Ibought my first one 57 years ago. I literally relaxed upon my couch athome while a worked out the details of the deal with Saber Boudjadaover the phone, including the trade in of my 2011 Outback.When the car was ready I was given a specified appointment time,which included up to the minute instructions on its new bells andwhistles, introduced to the various elements of the dealership,including the highly rated service department, and taken for a testride before I was sent home with the new baby on my own. The usuallyonerous chat with the finance department was without pressure and ledto some good choices regarding a service contract.This is a good company and I will continue to do business there.

I bought a 2016 WRX here. I was shopping cars online and took test drives at a few different dealerships (different car brands) and ended up buying the Subaru.My salesman Dylan was a pleasure to work with, and didn't try to BS me or pressure me.There were questions he couldn't answer, so he went and found out the answer. I was pleased that he did that rather than try to make up something.the financing went well, and again I felt like all of my questions were answered honestly, and it took less than an hour.I would definitely recommend buying from Valley, and if you have a chance, ask for Dylan.

I had been in the service dept numerous times for maintenance and warranty work on my '13 WRX hatch. Every time I was getting work done, I was treated very, very well and my expectations were greatly exceeded. A few months later down the road, I decided I wanted to get into a '16 WRX. I wound up playing about 3 dealerships in the area at the same time...Valley didn't play any games and the entire process was super straight forward. I ultimately went with Valley as they met all of my demands and my past experiences with the service department were top notch. I was in and out of there in less than two hours...and even got Jimmy Johns for lunch (thanks, Ryan!).

We dealt with Jorge on more than one occasion. We will always recommend Jorge as a salesman to anyone who is interested in getting a new car! Everything was smooth for all 3 transactions with Jorge, the only thing that needs improvement is the dealership sales area. The sales men were all sharing desks and overall building is very dated. But I see they are building a new location, hopefully each salesman will have their private area for customers & salesman to make the deal in a more professional and confidential transaction.

Attemped to buy a car here with the sales guy Dylon. At first things went well. Dylan mentioned right off the bat that he would not let a couple hundred dollars get in the way of getting us into a new car. We let him know what car we wanted and left it at that. Dylan on said he would get the car for us and contact us when he had it. We Were $100 between what we were wanting to pay and what he wanted for the car. 2 days letter he informed us that he had the car for us BUT he had sold it to someone else! If we wanted the same car in a differemt color then he would make it happen! Very unprofessional we thought. We immediately decided to change dealerships and went with golden. Dylan surprised us 2 days later and said he had another car for us and we should hurry on down to get it. Really!! Golden subaru rocked the house. Professional and accomodating and came down on the price to make it happen for us. My sister purchased a car from Longmont subaru and she has inly encountered headaches. Be advised and stay away.

I had a wonderful experience at Valley Subaru a year ago. I ordered a WRX from them and the car had been perfect. The people were so patient in answering all of my questions and made the buying process very easy. They did everything in their power to stay within my budget and I ended up paying $4000 less than I was quoted at other dealers in the area. I have sent friends there and they had the same wonderful experience I did. I would HIGHLY recommend this dealership over any other in the surrounding areas. They are extremely honest and stand by their sales and their cars are in wonderful condition. My husband and I just purchased another car from Valley this weekend and got the same treatment I was given the first time I was here. They were able to get us the exact car we were looking for and it was within our budget. They are able to work with us to get a lower monthly payment and a GREAT warranty. All in all Valley Nissan and Subaru are wonderful dealerships and I would highly recommend to everyone to come here. I am positive that we will be back again in the future!!!!

NEVER BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! I love our new Subaru we bought last year, but buying it from Valley Subaru in Longmont was the worst mistake we ever made! After purchasing the car, Morgan in the sales department told us they didn't have the accessories we agreed on as part of the deal, and that she?d get them to us in the following week or so. When we came back, she tried to give us USED parts, that they were pulling from cars they received as trade-in?s. We were also lied to when we purchased the service plan from the finance department. Adam, who does their finance and legal paperwork gave us this whole story about all the service that Subaru recommended in the first 45k miles, and how three of the services involved were $400+ worth of work, so it made the plan worth the money. However, over the last year and multiple times we?ve taken the car in to actually have the service performed, we got a completely different story from the service department. The managers Mike and Roger told us that they only performed the service that was ?required? based on their opinion of the condition the car was in. So essentially, all the expensive service work we pre-paid for was just wasted money, because they weren?t even going to do any of it. To make it worse, we discovered the service department isn?t even performing the service they say they are doing and charging us for. I have an invoice from our last service that details out the oil change and tire rotation they said they performed. However, I knew beforehand that one of my tires had a nail it, I didn?t mention it to them, but checked the following day and that tire was still in the same location. The tires are easy to verify, but if they?re not actually rotating the tires after they charged us for it, who knows what else they?re charging us for and not actually doing!?! Take it or leave it, but there?s a lot of Subaru dealerships out there, and I wish we had bought our car from anywhere but this one.

If I could give Valley Subaru of Longmont 1,000 stars I would. Buying a used car is a stressful, frightening experience even if you are a certified mechanic. From the very first time I walked into the showroom Lisa was an absolute gem. She was pleasant, listened and worked with me to find the car that I needed and wanted. Now that isn't even the best part. I found a 2005 Subaru Outback that seemed like a great buy. I test drove it and it was fine, heard a little hum but didn't think anything of it. Got a fair deal, I thought, and was able to sign on the dotted line in about an hour. The general manager shook my hand and congratulated me. Then 36 hours later the check engine light came on. Hmmm I started freaking out. Did I buy a lemon, would they work with me on the service? What was wrong? would they fix it? is It going to cost me money? I called Lisa she told me to take it to Greg, he had the parts ordered in 3 days and fixed and ready to roll. At no charge!!!!! Then the hum got louder, uh oh here we go again. Let me remind you that the dealership has ZERO obligation to me and we have no ties and no previous relationship. I took the car back to the Subaru Service department they had it diagnosed within a couple hours called me and gave me the bad news, transmission was going out. Oh great I thought I am going to have to buy a new tranny and put in 3 or 4 grand when I just bought the car. Lisa fought for me, and the GM and Owner decided they were going to put a brand new transmission in the vehicle at ZERO cost to me!!! Are you kidding me....This dealership had no obligation to do anything. But they did what was right and were always in my corner. I feel like they knew that, it was MY fault that I didn't inspect the car properly or get an inspection but they never made me feel like I was in the wrong. They also knew that purchasing a used car shouldn't mean having to put $$ into it 10 days later. Needless to say, Lisa in Sales at Valley Subaru, Greg and Roger in Service, the GM and the Owner give me faith in the car buying process again. They are honest and know that even though they didn't have to, they made it right with me. I tell you what they have earned a customer for life and I would recommend anyone who is thinking about buying a new or used car go to Valley Subaru in Longmont and talk with Lisa she will take care of you and the service department is hands down the nicest, and some of the best people I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I've brought our Subaru for service here several times over the past 3 years and have always experienced a feeling that I was in some way inconveniencing the service scheduler. After my recent experience I won't be back. I called to schedule a repair/check of 2 separate but related issues. He kept interrupting me to schedule the time of drop off that I couldn't inform him of the second issue. I finally was able to inform him of both issues. When I let him know I felt I was "inconveniencing" him he didn't much care. He was reluctant to give me his name. I followed up with the service center manager and he never asked me what my specific experience was and obviously wasn't curious about what occurred in order to address it with the service adviser. Their service center needs to go through some comprehensive customer service training. When I mentioned my experience to several friends they commented that they'd had similar experiences.

I like to avoid the normal hassle of buying a new car and once I had decided on a specific car to buy and got my financing, I researched inventory at all dealers in my state and requested internet quotes from all of them. Valley Subaru at Longmont sent me one that was two thousand less than all the rest, so I was eager to talk to them. As soon as I showed up and asked for internet salesperson, Ryan Hall, I was passed off to Jeremy who found the car I was looking for, asked me if I liked the quote and wanted to buy, which I said yes. We sat down to finalize the purchase, Jeremy had a copy of Ryan's quote and immediately said the price was wrong without even looking up details on the specific car. He then said he could not offer that car at that price, but could sell me a lesser car (without the options I wanted) at that price without asking me if I was even interested in another car - can you say bait and switch? I then asked for another quote on the car I wanted and the price given was more than any other dealer was asking and Jeremy was unwilling to match it. So their internet quote got me in the door, but the lack of integrity sent me straight out of it. I know car salesmen get a bad reputation, but the more I deal with them, the more it seems their reputation is well deserved. Valley Subaru is no different.

The sales process was smooth, and I felt like I got an honest price despite the fact that I was told the dealership (Valley Subaru in Longmont) was "legally obligated to charge every customer the same $697 dealer fee."One week after I purchased the car and after the dealership cashed my check and deposited the loan funds from the bank, the sales manager called me to tell me I owed an additional $52 for "loan fees" that my bank charges. I refused to pay the additional money. The car was paid in full according to the contract.I filled out the Subaru sales survey and voiced my displeasure with the sales manager for calling to demand additional money after the deal was closed and the car paid for.10 days after purchasing the car, I mailed the appropriate lien paperwork to the attention of this sales manager.Four weeks after purchasing this car, I had not received notice that I could register it.I contacted my bank. My bank informed me that they had not been added as a lienholder on the car, though their money had been deposited. They also informed me that they do not charge any fees to the dealership.I called the dealership and got no assistance other than "I don't know what to tell you."I posted publicly on their Facebook page, and tweeted about my problem, and I got a phone call within 15 minutes.The dealer claimed they never received my paperwork. I emailed them another copy and the sales manager (a different one this time) promised to expedite it. I was coming up against my temporary tag's expiration date.One week later, I still hadn't received the postcard from the county informing me that I could register my car, so I called the sales manager to ask about it. He assured me that yes, I could go register my car and that the county does not mail postcards. I called the county clerk to double-check. The county clerk's office told me that yes, they in fact do send out postcards and that they had the paperwork, but that it hadn't yet been processed.I had a long conversation with the GM of the dealership, who apologized profusely.The next day, I called the county to ask about the status. They told me that the dealership made an error on the paperwork and so the paperwork was sent back to the dealer.I spoke to the GM at the dealership and asked him to let me know when the error was corrected so that I could personally pick up the paperwork to deliver it to the county clerk. He agreed.Hours later, I received a phone call from the dealership to tell me that they took my paperwork to the county clerk's office. I called the office and confirmed that yes, I could register my car. Which I did today, two months after I purchased it, on the last day before the temporary tags expired.I love my new car. I was hoping for a mutually beneficial relationship with the dealer. I will not be taking my car back there and will avoid all Subaru dealers for service unless it is a recall.

Valley is where I've had 3 different cars serviced over the past 10 years, and they're always great to work with. This last time was no different: Roger was quick to get my car in and did a great job of communicating what needed to be done and how long it would take. When there was a delay in how long a part would take to be there, he was very apologetic and offered a loaner car as well.On top of that, their prices are in line with the independent shops and you get the benefit of manufacturer technicians. For service on a Subaru in Longmont, this is the best place to go.

I have been going to Valley Subaru for almost twenty years. Roger Harris has without a doubt been the one person I have worked with the most. I have always had a great experience. I am greeted promptly and familiarly when I walk in the door. My service is usually ready to begin at the scheduled time. As I often wait for my car, once specifics are known as far as service, I am consulted and am able to have any questions or concerns answered. I am provided transportation and a loaner car, if needed. I trust Valley Subaru, and feel they always keep my car in top condition to avoid unnecessary repairs or breakdowns. When the news isn't good (which can often happen when one has unknown car repair), they always break it to me gently and try to resolve the situation as positively as possible. As long as I own a Subaru, Valley will be the only place I would consider for servicing it. Valley Subaru's service department is outstanding!

I was in the market for a new Subaru Forester, so put out a request for a price quote to several local dealerships. Ryan Hall was one of the responders and his quote was the best. Intrigued, I went in to meet him and ended up buying a new Forester from him. He was extremely helpful, worked around my schedule and gave me a good deal. Most importantly, he listened to what I was saying and what I wanted in a vehicle. He didn't try to sell me something I didn't want, or try to push me into extras that I couldn't afford or didn't want. When I told him that I had to make arrangements for transportation down to the dealership ( I was not trading in a car) he offered to come and pick me up!! Talk about customer service! I came onto Valley Subaru's lot just looking to test drive a BRZ. They had a nice WR Blue model on the lot that always caught my eye as I drove by the dealership, and Ryan got me the keys for a test drive within a couple of minutes of my arrival. He was very professional, courteous, and polite, and when I decided that I was interested in buying that particular car, he got me a STUNNING price right upfront, without having to do two weeks of haggling. Any time I had a question, he was available. He is also obviously very passionate about getting his customers into cars that meet their needs and make them happy. Ryan is a great guy, and Valley Nissan-Subaru is a great place to do business.

I was in the market for a Subaru and Mark, along with several others from other dealerships contacted me immediately. I waited a few weeks due to personal reasons, but Mark sent a gentle, non-pushy reminder that he was still willing to work with me if I wanted and that his originally quoted price was still valid. When I came in to get the car, he was no nonsense, but still very friendly. He was thorough and diligent about describing and demonstrating the features without sounding rote or making us feel talked down to. A very pleasant experience.

I was in this past weekend to purchase a used Subaru. I had the fortune of working with Ryan. From the communication over email and phone, I felt comfortable having him help me in-person. He had the car ready for me to test drive, and answered my questions. Once I decided to purchase a car, he worked diligently with me to get a fair price. There was a lot of back and forth, and while it was clear that he wanted to make the sale, he wasn't pushy at all. He made the experience flow better than I had expected, and I could tell that he was working for me. For example, the key fob was mislabeled, so we didn't think there was an electric car opener. He spent time looking around, and did indeed, find it, which saves me the hassle and money to replace it. I would certainly recommend Ryan to be the salesperson that you want to help you. He was friendly and pleasant, and you don't find that in all the dealers out there. He works hard, but doesn't make it seem like you're displacing him, and he isn't aggressive.

I was very pleased to find Valley Subaru of Longmont and Ryan Hall when shopping for a new car. I was looking for a new WRX STI. I'm the kind of buyer that buys new and keeps the car for a long time, so I don't frequent car dealers all that often.From the start, Ryan was very friendly and easy to work with. I was able to work through the features we wanted and order a new car with little pain or stress. Valley was able to get my new car much faster than other dealerships, about 12 weeks faster, and I was informed about progress all along the way.Once my car came in, a few days early, Ryan made the final sales process very easy and stress free, and provided awesome service and orientation. I visited the dealership on several occasions trying to convince myself to pull the trigger on a 2013 Forester XT. The salesman was a little shady, perhaps his name was Gabe, not sure. He basically tried to get me to agree to him starting the transaction without me agreeing to buy the car. Then, the finance guy Adam, wouldn't accept no for an answer on bumper to bumper warranty. I must have had to say no 10 times. Then he showed me a breakdown of a maintenance plan where I could save 24-39% if I bought all my maintenance up front. The thing is, the plan has a bunch mileage intervals that aren't even recommended anymore. For instance, the car I bought needed its first oil change at 7,500 miles, so why would they show me a breakdown with a 3,750 mile oil change. On top of that, the 7,500 maintenance breakdown they showed included a tire rotation, which they didn't complete when I brought it in. So they basically inflated the value of the plan and then didn't even execute what they said they would. Adam is a liar, Gabe is a shyster, and this place is to be avoided at all costs. I've owned 4 subarus now, dealt with dealerships all along the front range and this place is the worst, go to Loveland or Boulder.

Bought a used car from these guys and the experience has been good so far.Love my used Subaru and the guys at Valley are great.I'm currently testing their commitment to customer satisfaction and will report my findings soon.It took me over 2 months to get the car back to them for a few problem they let me drive off the lot with. A broken key fob (second set of keys handed to me after purchase) and a brake light that wasn't fixed with a new bulb once I realized it was out.They replaced the key fob but refused to take responsibility for the brake light.Overall, I doubt I will be bringing my business back to them.This car should have been rock solid driving it off of the lot with only an oil change in my near future.

I flew from Kansas City, MO to CO to buy my Subaru XV because Morgan Steinbeck was very helpful, and was willing to work with me in the selection of the perfect vehicle. When I arrived, the XV was washed and has a full tank. Morgan patiently explained to me how various systems work, and even helped me pair my iPhone with the Bluetooth system of the car. I brought along an old shifter knob from my old Subaru to install on the XV. Master technician Victor Turner went out of his way to help me. It was his day off, and he took time to help me machined down the shifter for a better fit. I am extremely impressed by his attention to details and his dedication. Valley is very lucky to have folks such as Morgan and Victor on their team. I am sure I can find the same car elsewhere, but I will not be able to find the level of service that Morgan and Victor provided.

So far so good. We were looking for a Subaru Crosstrek, and found one their website listed at invoice price, below MSRP, when no other Subaru dealer in the area would even think about budging on the sticker price. The Salesperson I dealt with over the phone initially thought this advertised price was a mistake, but confirmed that the price would indeed be honored. We bought it over the phone. On delivery day, we were greeted warmly, and our Salesman, Israel was nothing but professional, courteous and patient, answering all our questions,is very well informed and seems like a nice guy. If he was my neighbor I'd still want to do business with him, and hang out afterward! During the financing part he took extra time to make sure we fully understood the terms and presented us with several financing options. We never felt pressured at all.Even the Financing part with Adam was painless. I was initially concerned about dealing with Valley after reading some of the online reviews, but I think they are making an honest effort to repair some of the damage that might have been done in the past, by different management,and from our experience, they are doing the right thing. We'll see about the Service department when we need it. Most people probably rate the car buying experience about as much fun as going to the dentist, but I think that you get treated with the same respect as you give. Act like a jerk if you want, but don't expect anything but the same attitude back.

My first visit to Valley Subaru was merely to scope the salesteam and inventory. I show interest but never commit to buying since I know their initial offers will be terrible. I was correct as the first salesman tried strongarming me into an immediate buy of a car they didnt even have on the lot. They wanted to charge me an extra grand to transport the car I wanted. Later the sales guys called me everyday bugging me about it. I finally ignored him and was recomended to work with Morgan Steinbeck. She was an absolute pleasure to work with. She gets excited about the buy and isn't pushy. She makes every effort to negotiate fair prices. She helped me purchase/order my 2013 WRX STI at invoice price. Tom King, the manager assisted Morgan in getting these prices. He's a great guy, down to earth and isn't trying to push anything on you. I can't say that for the rest of the salesmen there, but you know what you are getting into when you walk on a car lot. They stand outside and hawk you to death.Thumbs up for Morgan, I'd recommend her to anyone!

I purchased my prior Subaru here in 2009 and have had it serviced here ever since. I have never been "sold" any extra work. All work has been completed perfectly. Roger Harris, Service Agent is outstanding. He makes sure everything is done correctly and to your satisfaction. I am sorry not everyone has had the same experience, and a bit surprised, as over two days of driving cars and getting information we never saw anything except helpful friendly staff.

I bought a used 2009 Forester from Longmont Valley two weeks ago and also bought a roof rack. They sold me an opened box without an invoice and with missing parts. It took them two weeks for the part to arrive and then they failed to mail it to me because I live in Boulder. They made up for this mistake after I complained by sending a driver to my house with the part that was just sitting at their office. They never called to let me know they had even sent it and that it had been returned. I would not be writing this if it ended their. I also realized they sold me the wrong clamps for my ski rack. Now I must buy new clamps at the Boulder Dealership. I recommend staying as far away from this dealership as possible. I am very unsatisfied.

Always get quotes in writing because they will tell you one price and then charge you way more (in my case almost double the quote). This dealership also uses SCARE TACTICS to make you feel like your car is unsafe to drive until you pay thousands of dollars on unnecessary work. I would never recommend anyone (especially a woman) use this service department unless you are ready to drop thousands of dollars on work that doesn't need to be done.

My wife and I traded in our 2005 Subaru Outback for a newer model with fewer miles and nicer options. We weren't in dire need of a new car, but thought we'd see what kind of a deal we could get. Besides, the sales team was really into the pressure of it all, so we played along. Just because we were willing to play does not mean that we were going to break our budget for them to get a sale. The more they persisted, the more I insisted on a price lower than their "best deal," and within our budget. After a few hours, we came to an agreement, and my wife and I left with an affordable car that had all the bells and whistles. A few weeks later, I received a call from the salesman that Valley wanted me to quietly return the car. I was first told something was "wrong" with the 2005 I traded in. When I asked for them to put it on paper, the salesman said he'd call back. A manager later called. To my surprise, my car was "involved in a flood." Again, I asked for it to be put in ink, and that I'd pass it on to my attorney for review. He said he'd call me right back. But wait! There's more! I then got a call from the dealership head, and was told that I scammed them because I did not tell him (yes, him) that my wife and I "resided in a flood plain." On the contrary. First off, the salesman and I joked about moving to Colorado when our family lived less than a mile from the beach. Second, my car was never in a flood, because the southwest Florida neighborhood in which we lived hadn't flooded in recent memory. Third, and most importantly, Valley Nissan Subaru was simply beat at their own game. Their propensity for bad business backfired. I had a strict budget, and sticking to it was not an option. It seems their plan was to give in to my financial needs for the sole purpose of meeting a quota in hard times, and then pass their loss of judgement onto you, the consumer. When customers did not bite, they broke their word and contract. The car that I traded in, the one that was "flooded," and "from a flood plain," was made available to you, the unsuspecting consumer. When I called their bluff, I was told that they would come after me with their legal team, and that I would be charged $50/day plus a fee per mile for the three weeks I had the car. I just wanted a nice car, and by tearing up our agreement that was sealed with a handshake and smile, Valley Nissan Subaru spit in the face of dealers who do business the correct way. They spit in the face of consumers who place trust in dealerships to not rip them off. Valley Nissan Subaru furthered the stereotype that all "used car salesmen" are similar to slimy, child-eating, cannibalistic monsters that prey on average people who are just trying to live a happy life. If the salesman had just owned up to the fact that the dealership misjudged the value of my car, that they made a sincere mistake, and had not tried to lie to get the car back, I would have returned the car, and not still resent the dealer a few years later.Just remember that there is a reason for their poor rating from the BBB. Remember that there is a reason for all of the negative comments left. Finally, remember that there are breaches in trust for each voice heard in this global forum. Support local business, but first make sure it's good business that's being practiced.

Pricing bate and switch .. quoted price of $3,900 on '99 Sentra. They always said when asked the price "I think its $3,900" didn't list the price on their web site. When it came time to make the deal, upped the price to $6,600. These guys are the sleaziest. Don't do business them!

I just got my 2nd Subaru from Valley Subaru - They're very straight forward and didnt waste a lot of time. We live on the Western Slope, about 4 hour drive from Longmont, but every subaru dealer here wanted to shaft me on my trade-in. Valley gave us $2k more on the trade than ANYONE west of Golden offered. Not only that, they worked with us on price and financing to get the payment and residual on my lease exactly where we wanted it. Matt & Tom were awesome and worked most of the deal over the phone before I even left home. I drove over and spent about an hour doing paperwork and I was on my way....completely painless except the detailer was backed up so we had to wait about an hour for a detail and a full tank of gas, a small thing - that didn't really dampen my enthusiasm for this dealership. I'm 99% sure we'll be back in 3 1/2 years when the lease on my Outback is up. Thanks guys!

I ended up going to this dealership after I was treated quite badly at another subaru dealer. The salespeople had contacted me about a nissan rogue that I was looking at and were so great that even though I did not want to nissan I drove out of town to see their subarus. Many other dealers I felt screwed over with prices. Here, no such thing. They are very caring. They give a lot of information very well and clearly.


I would recommend you stay as far away from Valley Subaru...

I would recommend you stay as far away from Valley Subaru in Longmont, CO as you can.I received an internet quote for a vehicle form this dealership. It seemed a good price, but they had some trouble getting the car from another dealer. As mentioned in other reports, this is typical practice in the industry.When they said they had the car in, I went down, had a test drive, came back from that saying, let's go, I'll buy the car. Filled out the paper work, credit report, etc. The internet sales person tried to slip in an additional charge for an item that was in the original quote. When I caught it, she scratched off the price and said they would install it for "free". She then brought me over to the "finance guy" whose name I don't recall. No one I had dealt with up to this point, including the Sales manager, mentioned any change in price over what I was quoted.The finance stated going over the numbers. First the price was almost $2000 more than I was quoted. When I balked, the price was "lowered" to $1000 over what I had been quoted. To be fair, this other vehicle had an MSRP of $66 over the car I was quoted. How they got $1000 out of a $66 difference was beyond me. I walked out after listening to them (the sales and finance person) say that they "couldn't lose money" on the deal. They were repeatedly pointing to a computer screen and saying see, we'll lose money. If they were losing money, why did they quote me that price. If they had made a math mistake, why not just own up to it.The following week, I called the owner to let him know what was going on with this Bait & Switch tactic. I was thinking perhaps he didn't know everything that was going on in his dealership. He listened to what I had to say and then said he would get back with me.He called later that day, after checking in with his people, to tell me the reason for the price mark-up. He said "the $1000 down payment is added to the price quoted for the vehicle to get to the total price you will pay for the vehicle." The owner, Jay Weibel, refused to honor the written quote that I was given which clearly stated "No hidden fees or dealer handling. Price is plus taxes only."I've never heard of a down payment being ADDED to the quoted price of anything. What a bogus company. Avoid Valley Subaru in Longmont, CO like the plague.
