I was treated with nothing but rudeness and contempt when I tried to buy a new car from them. Completely unwilling to answer questions about what options were available on what models, and when asked if it was possible to trade for or order a car that wasn't available on their lot (as they didn't have any high trim Civics at the time) I was informed that "they do not do that". I left without any information and feeling like they would rather not do business with me. I highly recommend buying a Honda, just pick one of the other much more competent dealers in the local area. A quick phone call to Martin Honda in Newark and we had exactly the car we wanted lined up with no hassle and no belittling comments.

I had a problem with my transmission on a vehicle that has an extended warranty. This dealer got my in on the same day, and made the warranty claim process a smooth one. They kept me updated on a timely basis, and Rob, the person I dealt with in service was very friendly.

Mike was patient answering all of my questions and letting me look at different models while explaining all of the differences, pros and cons. He was very knowledgeable on the different vehicles and got me the one I really wanted in the color I wanted. I didn't feel pressured to upgrade or buy extra items and felt that he was sincere and honest in his sale. Anthony explained the financial terms very well and also was patient answering all of my questions.

I was looking for a Honda Pilot or something equivalent. Though the Pilot I wanted was not in stock my salesman worked with me and showed me the GMC Acadia, which I loved and ended up purchasing. It serves all my needs. Joe is extremely knowledgable and courteous. He made the process of buying a car quick and easy, a real pleasure.

I was a little nervous getting a new car because of the economy but my salesman, Mike McDaniel, and his financial manager, Anthony Bowman, were very thorough and honest, going over the car and the paperwork in detail and with a fine toothed comb. This is an excellent dealership! I worked with Mike McDaniel. He was professional and knowledgeable about the cars, and helped us get a good deal. I also had a rental car at the time, and I didn't want to go back and forth picking up cars since I was the only driver, so Mike said he would take care of this issue and call the rental car company for me while I left my car in Union of Honda's parking lot. Mike was very easy to work with. There was no hard pressure sales and he treated us with respect. He took the time to show us how everything worked in the van. When I got the van home I had a question that Mike could not answer and he needed his Tech. Mike called me first thing the next morning with the answer. It was nice that he followed up just like he said he would. Anthony took the time to explain all of the paperwork and the warranty. Again there was no hard pressure sales and he treated us with respect.This is not my first purchase from this dealer and I would go back to them again

We used an auto buying service to find the Honda CR-V that we wanted and were referred to Union Park Honda. Mike McDaniel communicated with us to learn what we wanted, and he was able to find the car that met all of our specifications. One day later we were in his office learning all about the new CR-V. Mike did a great job of explaining the many features - touch panel, keyless entry, navigation, etc. The finance manager was very helpful and courteous. All in all our car buying experience was very business like - no hassles or pressures. And we love our new CR-V.

I have leased an Accord 2012 till now, so I decided to lease the 2015 Accord with confidence in the car, experience in driving it, and some knowledge about leasing from Honda to begin with.Between Piazza, Martin, Martin Main Line and Union Park, Eric at Union Park was the first person offering me a solid quote. Martin Main Line also offered competitive quote, but the net cost is lower in DE mainly due to lower state tax. I came to test drive the vehicle at Union Park because of the lower net cost, the responsiveness and quality of information about the new lease from Eric, and because it was closer to my place of residence compared to other dealerships.Test drive was with Joe; Joe was very patient and knowledgeable, believed in the product he was selling, and overall a very decent person.Financial transaction was with Anthony. The transaction was swift, smooth and Anthony was professional.

After a long morning of frustrating car shopping at various other Honda dealerships I was about to give up for the day. I called Joe and said that I would not come in as I had just gotten a very good deal on the phone from a dealership about an hour away. Joe said that was fine but we could still come in and talk. Best decision I made all day long.Joe was extremely nice and we had a deal in hand in a very short time, no arguing, no frustrations. Came within a $100 of the best offer, but it saved me the hour drive the next day. Once we had the deal in place we went for a late lunch at a local cafe and when we got back the car was nicely detailed. Joe then spent about an hour going over all of the features on the car and making sure that they were all set up to what we wanted. Joe never got tired of all of my questions no matter how silly they may have been.Micah was also very pleasant and professional when it came time to complete the financial part of the deal. I told him I did not want any extras and Micah did not pressure me at all. The whole time to do the paperwork took about 10 minutes and I had my new car.Overall it was an excellent experience at Union Park Honda.

I went to Union Park the last Sunday of March not sure if I really wanted to make a new car purchase. After walking through the lot on my own for a bit I was then approached by George who turned out to be a fantastic salesman. No pressure and he was very accommodating. I received what I thought to be a fair price on a new 2015 Civic and have been extremely happy with the vehicle. I had a Civic 20 years ago just out of college and have been through a variety of vehicles since including a Lexus and a Land Rover but have circled back. The EX-L has been redesigned so beautifully that you really do have the feel of driving a luxury vehicle. Coupled with that the gas mileage is phenomenal as I'm averaging 34mpg and in just 8 weeks I have put 5000 miles on the car. You really can't go wrong with a Honda and I highly recommend Union Park and definitely George!

Every aspect of our experience was top notch, from negotiation to driving away in our new vehicle.Mike McDaniels, Jeff Bennett, and our "paperwork" person (don't recall his name) treated us respectfully and were very easy to work with in purchasing our new Accord. When I made the very difficult decision to get a new car (I am convinced my first Honda is still on the road bringing joy to some other lucky soul), Jeff had "moved on up" and recommended Mike MCDaniel to me. I called them to ask about the availability of the car that I wanted and also the price. I was told that I would get a call back with more information. Days passed and no one called. I called them again to ask about another car. They said they had it in stock but they couldn't give me more information right away as they were busy. They wrote down my number but again, no one called me back! Clearly they don't care about their customers.I live in the Wilmington area and hence Union Park Honda is the closest dealer to me. However, due to their horrible customer service, I have no intention of giving any business to them. I would rather drive an hour to a dealer that actually cares about its customers than go to them.

Mike McDaniel was my sales rep. He was courteous and professional. He knew everything I asked him about my Honda. He even took his time (a long time!) cleaning up the car and wiping off fingerprints after I signed a lease. He also helped me arrange through my insurance company to change my policy over to cover the new car so when I left the dealership my car was already insured. He showed a lot of professionalism in going over everything for me.I wish I could remember his name but the financial manager was very good at explaining lease terms to me and providing clear instructions to signing a lease with showing me how much I will pay per month and how the process would go. Overall I was there for a little under 3 hours from looking at cars to driving off the lot. My only downgrade would be that, much as I love my new vehicle, I wish I had been shown a few more cars on the floor than I ended up seeing, especially since I at least wanted to learn more about a few Hondas which were affordable and had great gas mileage, even if I still probably would have chosen the vehicle I did. I like getting in and out quickly but cars are one of those things where you want to compare a few models before buying, though I know models are available for view on the website (which is well-maintained!). A great experience nonetheless-I would definitively come back to Union Park Honda for a future vehicle purchase or lease.

I have been a faithful Union Park customer since 1996. I have purchased three new vehicles, almost my fourth but their competitor had a better price. I also have had every vehicle serviced at the dealership. My recent dealing with the repair shop and a conversation with the Honda shop manager yielded an attempt to have unnecessary repairs completed. I had the replacement service for my timing belt. A $700 job, but received calls that the motor mount and a pulley should be replaced. Ok get it done $1065. The last call your steering pump is leaking. No signs in my clean garage of a leak and the only issue was the noise the car made when its cold. I refused the $520 service. I had the car looked at again and discovered a Honda repair bulliten reflecting the $6 issue. A one dollar "O" ring and power steering fluid. I called the shop manager told him of the inorrect diagnoised. Joe mentioned that this was what the tech noticed. No other assistance, appology bring the car in nothing. I would expect more after the amount cash exchanged over 17 years. No more.

Craig took awesome care of my Pilot when it was brought into the shop numerous times for a rubbing noise. I bought it from the used lot as a certified used vechile back in June. I had bought my Honda CRV from Union Park and after 11 years and 120k miles was ready to trade it on a new Honda Pilot and was ready to return to Union Park. They offered me approximately $800 for the trade when the KBB trade in value of the CRV was about $2800, even though they had all the service records and I was a returning customer. Needless to say I walked out never to return. I received almost $3k from another Honda dealer (who I hadn't bought the car from or had service the vehicle). The sales manager called me later to tell me the used car manager who had given the trade in value had made a "mistake", and after offering various other prices below the KBB trade in finally offered to match the KBB price. John O'Connor provided excellent customer service. I explained the problem that I was having with my car - trouble starting it, noises, odometer spinning, and light staying on while driving. I also asked to have the oil changed. John expained that the oil change was unnecessary since it had been done in the recent past. John called me back quickly with the results of the technician review - battery failed. The new battery was installed and I had my car back in a very timely manner. I had an exceptional experience with Union Park Honda while shopping for a new (to me) car. The salesman that assisted me in mypurchase, Micah Molin, was very honest, helpful & knowledgeable. He listened to what I was looking for and didn't try to make me fall in love with cars that were completely out of my price range (like many other places had). I was in the market for a used car and after Micah helped me select one that best suited my wants & needs AND was in my price range, it was time to complete the deal. Spoke to Eric in April who said he was the manager. He was very sketchy about what incentives Honda had and flat out lied that there weren't any. I found out there was a large incentive. He said oh we try to keep that for ourselves. Every dealer who has any interest in actually selling a vehicle passes it on to the customer. I was insulted that he would think that I am too dumb to figure it existed. I talked to another dealership and they openly told me the amount of the dealer cash and gave me a price thousands less before any haggling. I met with Denzel and he had no clue there were even incentives. What kind of salesman does not know the incentives that Honda is offering? I happily bought an accord from another dealership later.

Today unfortunately I lost my key to my Honda Accord. I called your Parts Dept. and they informed me of what I had to do to get a new key.When I arrived at your Parts Dept. they cut a unprogrammed key to my car and Informed me to bring my car back before 6pm and they would program my key. Well I left & returned to your location at 5:45pm & the door to your Part Dept was locked. So I had to use your Service Dept door. There was 2 men standing at the desk one man said to me "we always lock the parts door early". When I got back to the Parts Dept the guy working back there stated that it wasn't his job to program keys to take it back over to Service Dept. I stated to him that Cody told me to bring my key back to the Parts Dept. I then took my key over to your Service Dept were a John O'Conner was rude stating he can't program keys & that your Tech left at 4:30pm. I asked why is the Service & Parts Dept open till 6pm if you can't service my car. John O'Conner stated that it was for customer dropping off cars only. He told me to bring my car back tomorrow & someone can help me then. He showed no empathy when he was that I towed my car in with a tow dolly & a Uhaul truck. I explained to him that I must be to work by 7am. He just keep saying it was nothing he could do.I then ask if my programming fee would be waved because your Tech left early & your Parts Dept told me I would be help just to get here before closing 6pm.John O'Conner refused to give me the Managers name he just keep saying come back in the morning. When I ask him for his name he didn't bother to tell me he just said here's my card. I had to ask him to put me on the Schudle for service in the morning he didn't bother to offer add me as an appointment. Why do you stated on your door and Web site & by phone your Parts & Service Dept is open till 6pm..1 your Parts Dept door is locked & 2 you don't have the proper staff on Site to service your customers..I need answers why the couldnt soneone help me why. I was just thinking of trading in my Pilot for the Crosstour. After this I started looking into GMC & there On Star system looks like they will cut & program my key & bring it to me without all this hassle & just plan BAD customer service. Just bought a 2012 CRV EX from these guys. Their documentation charge was so nominal in comparison to the rest of the dealers around. And they were ready to price match the best deal I found around the NJ/PA area. I live in PA, about 20 miles north of Wilmington DE, so it was not a bad deal to have. I was slightly dissatisfied with the financing that they got for me, even though I have a pretty good credit score. But that had more to do with the industry-option score that dealers usually pull, instead of the regular one. But as far as the pricing was concerned, I am very glad with the deal I got. And Mike McDaniel is one of the best salesmen in the world. Not pushy, but very helpful in answering any and every question I had. The fact that he seems to be doing this job out of a hobby seems to be the likely reason why he is not as aggressive as car salesmen usually are. Eric was very cordial too with the financing aspect, though I wish he could have explained my loan terms a bit more - stuff like how soon I can refinance my car with a credit union and lower my interest rate rather significantly. Not everyone does that, but with a dealership that was this good overall, I would have expected just that little bit more. Overall, though, highly recommended dealership. Ask for Mike, very genuine salesman.

I leased my Honday from Union Park in April 2011. At first I was very pleased the overall experience. I had some very specific requests regarding pricing...there were absolutely no grey areas. We agreed to a payment and I was told my trade would be paid off without any inequity being rolled into the new lease. I specifically asked about the trade and they told me what I wanted to hear. I felt comfortable and I believed they were being honest and upfront with me. About three weeks after picking up the car I received my first statement and noticed how high the payoff was. I took out my paperwork and looked over the contract and buyers order. Shame on me...I felt so comfortable with them that I didn't thoroughly look over the paperwork. As it turned out they rolled $1512 of inequity from my trade into the new lease. They lied to me. I asked a direct question about the trade at the time of the delivery and they lied. I stated several times that I would not do the deal if I was going to be upside down with my trade. I really believed they were being honest and they got one over on me. When I called about it my salesman Eric barely said a word. He stated that he would have his manager Jeff call me. I stated I wanted to hear from Jeff that day. Jeff never called. The next day the assistant manager Erin called. She told me that since I signed the buyers order there was nothing she could do and that I must have misunderstood. I didn't misunderstand...I just trusted them. Apparently the fact that they lied to me doesn't account for anything. I requested to speak to the owner. She said she would have the owner, Jim Ursomarso call me. Seven hours later I left a message on the Jim's voicemail because he never called. As I sit here typing this he still hasn't called and neither has Jeff the sales manager. I guess I'm not that important.

Went here to replace alot of things for my Honda that has around 170000 miles for around $1000. They have a maintenance inspection that checks other aspects of your car including lights. I knew that my parking lights were burned out, but they indicated that all was good. I pointed this out to my service guy and all he said was "well, i guess that's a trust issue." I pressed on it and requested to speak with the manager who stated "what do you want me to do about it." This is not how you treat customers, especially because trust is such a crucial issue with your mechanic. No apology, no suggestions by them on how they can re-earn my trust. I'm definitely never coming back here because of these two. The lone positive was that the shuttle service guys were really nice guys.

Came into dealership with Altima, Outlook, Camry, & Accord in mind with no strong loyalty toward any of the 4. Mike McDaniel was the Union Park sales person I dealt with. I ended up buying a 2011 EXL V6 and I know the reason why had to do with having Mr. McDaniel as my sales person. He was very knowledgable about the specific car I was interested in. He was not pushy nor did he try to steer me to any other vehicle when I was having some doubts about the final pricing. I came in with pricing information form various Internet sites including Consumer Reports. Unlike other sales people I've had experience with, Mr. McDaniel never brought up any negative comments about the information I was bringing. His level of respect throughout the process kept me at the dealership. It was only 2 days from the date that I saw the car I wanted to driving off the lot with that car at a negotiated price I was content with.I've purchased 2 other Accords from Union Park in the past 15 years or so; the level of service provided by Mr. McDaniel was a cut above.
