Best test drive

This was our third Forester, and our second from Tucson Subaru. We have had other makes with "all wheel drive", but it is not the same as the Subaru. The "all wheel drive" was really just part time. The Subaru is true, full time all wheel drive. We chose our first Forester because of the feature/cost ratio --- it had more of the features we wanted at a great price than any of the competitors. We were not looking for a "fancy" car --- rather, we were looking for solid, dependable and affordable transportation. It was also a big plus that our Forester had air bags everywhere and was rated 5 stars in almost every crash test category. We have gotten great fuel economy and had no problems with our Foresters. The sales person (CJ Nichols) did a great job answering all of our questions --- responded to our calls quickly and we feel like we got a fair deal. Tim in finance was great --- all our questions were answered and every option available was explained to us. The entire experience from start to finish was great.

We were allowed to test drive the cars of our choice, food and water available while we waited, delearship accepted our Can Am Utv for trade, didn't have to play games with pricing, clear and precise detailed options for financing, didn't try to force options when we got to financing and a very thorough process.I would recommend this dealership to anyone buying a Subaru. Quick and Easy
It was time to finally buy my first car and I wanted to get a Forester. I worked with Steve and he made me feel really comfortable and not pushed into anything. Steve listened to what I wanted and answered all of my million questions. I then talked with Tim for financing and walked in a little nervous since I wasn't overly familiar with everything we were going over. Tim took the time to explain in detail all my options. I never once felt pressured during the entire process and went in expecting to be a little overwhelmed. I felt like Steve and Tim really had my best interest and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.
As excruciating as it is to go through paperwork at a dealership, Joe made the experience pleasant and rewarding. He is a no-nonsense type of "sales-person", (the quotes are regarding the fact that he doesn't "sell," which is a bonus.)PS, Louie in finance deserves and extra bonus thumbs up. The car buying experience can be nerve wracking. For me, a car is a mode of transportation. Nothing more. With than in mind, I am especially not fond of a high pressure salesman pushing me hard to buy and to buy now. It took me over a month to make a decision to buy and during that time I received an occasional email wanting to know if there was anything that Chris could do to help me with the car buying process. There was never any pressure or guilt-tripping if I was to decide against purchasing a car.

Very Positive Experience
I first visited Tucson Subaru almost a year ago when I was barely ready to start looking for a new car. I explained to salesman Kevin McDougall that I was nowhere near the point of purchasing anything and yet he took a considerable amount of time with me test-driving multiple vehicles and comparing my needs with various different cars. When I returned last month, Kevin remembered me and we picked up where we left off. He was patient and understanding as I mulled over my decision and never put any pressure on me to buy anything. Came in to see if I would qualify to trade in my car for another used one, for now. I will be coming back to get my dream car, a Subaru in the future. Even though I had to wait quite awhile it was because I was waiting on the bank approval. Trent came out every chance he could to let me know they were waiting as well. So while I waited I watched the news and had coffee and cookies. I buying a 2017 Outback
Decided to replace my 2014 Outback with a 2017 to get all the wonderful new safety features, especially the back-up camera and Eyesight warning. Sales rep Ken Murch was so helpful and easy to quirk with, and Traci Roberts in finance was patient and thorough. I just knew that I was in the best is hands for the whole process.

I recently purchased a 2017 Subaru Outback Limited from Tucson Subaru. First, I have to say the vehicle is the best I have ever owned.. Tucson Subaru is an exceptional dealership. I have purchased 10-12 new vehicles in my lifetime and my buying experience at Tucson Subaru was by far the best I have ever had. This is do to the outstanding people at Tucson Subaru. The sales manager, Terry Iseminger, and the sales person, Kevin Woessner, are the most professional, courteous and competent sales people I have ever met. The vehicle is exceptional, the dealership is exceptional and Terry and Kevin are more than exceptional. Also my only service visit was exceptional due to my service consultant Jade.

Our experience was hassle free. We knew what we were looking for, and Trent helped us every step of the way. Joe was very personable and went out of his way to help me in a very low key but knowledgeable manner. He was ready to help and yet I did not feel any pressure. Great Sales person and he found me my ideal car at a great price! I went back to the dealership later after my purchase as I did not have time to be shown how to operate all the gadgets at the time of purchase. We had a great experience at the Subaru dealership. Initially, I had no intention of buying a car, but Jennifer, our salesperson, and my husband mademe realize it was truly necessary. Jennifer was great. I have bought a car before and felt like the salesperson was just in it for the money, but Jennifer really seemed to care. I felt like I was buying a car from a friend (albeit one with extensive knowledge of the product).

Trent sent me an email suggesting my 2014 Subaru Forester had a strong trade in value. A few weeks later I brought my car in for service and Trent had the appraiser look over the car. Wow, it did have a good trade-in value. Trent then emailed me a cost breakdown on a new 2017 Forester, balance of payment and closing costs. All I had to do was e-sign the document and email the document back and the car was ordered. A credit card deposit through email, a quick visit to the dealer to sign papers a week later and the car is now in my garage. How easy is that?
Came to the Tucson Subaru to browse around but in the end I drove off in a brand new 2016 Impreza. Steve Norris was very helpful and quite funny. Traci Roberts was very helpful as well in the finance department. Thanks again!
First Subaru Purchase
We have purchased many vehicles over the years and usually hate the experience we have had at other dealerships. This was the first time we have considered a Subaru and were pleased with the approach taken by the sales and management teams. Our sales person took the time to make sure all our questions were answered and was very knowledgeable. It took awhile, but we finally found the right car for us at a competitive price.

I had purchased Forester, but I found it difficult to read the speedometer. I was given a loaner Outback when I took the Forester in for service, and I found I liked it better than the Forester. Bob Wilson helped me trade in my Forester with only 581 miles on it for an Outback. The Outback had the GPS and a lot of improved electronics such as a greatly enhanced cruise control. It cost me quite a bit more money, but I love my Outback. I would have always been slightly dissatisfied with the Forester.

If you do your homework, you will probably decide that the Subaru is an excellent overall product. I purchased the Outback 3.6R. It was a pleasure to work with Steve Norris on your sales staff. He knows his product and is friendly and helpful without being that pushy salesman that we all dread! Everyone I spoke with had good things to say - not only about the car, but about the company, the dealership and those people they worked with. That says a lot about how good your dealership is! I would definitely recommend this dealership to friends and family.
Poor service. Poor quality car
The service department has poor customer service. They do not update you on the status of your car. My car was in the shop for multiple weeks and they never called me. Even when confronted with the lack of communication it didn't seem to matter. The problems were never fixed. As for the vehicle. Very poor quality.
I went in to see late model Crosstreks to replace my 10 year old Mini. Gil pointed me to pretty much exactly what I was looking for, a 2014 with low miles, and I took it for a test drive. I gave myself a day to think about it and check some numbers. I was a little worried about my finances (aren't we all these days?), and Gil worked with me on my trade-in and other financial concerns to quickly get me into the car. Tim did a great job explaining the value of the different warranty coverage and other things, keeping things light. All-in-all an easy process for a great vehicle upgrade.

After doing a lot of online research I had concluded that a 2017 Outback 3.6R Touring was the vehicle that best suited my needs. I wanted to test drive one and so I went to Tucson Subaru. I was greeted by Kevin Woessner. He arranged for me to drive a similar vehicle since they didn't have one in stock. He answered all my questions and I made a follow up appointment for 11/10/16 to discuss pricing. He had checked and found that a vehicle that fit my specifications was scheduled to be delivered to Tucson Subaru on 11/17/16.On 11/10 when I arrived, Kevin indicated that the vehicle had just arrived that day, a week early. We discussed pricing and the value of my trade in. We arrived at what I considered a fair deal and I told him I would take the vehicle. What followed was very surprising to me. I told him that I only had a small amount of money in my checking account and didn't have the title to my trade in with me since I hadn't expected to finalize the deal until 11/17. Kevin said no problem. I could write a check for the full amount and they would hold it until I brought them a check on my other account that had sufficient money in it to cover the purchase. I could also bring them the title at that time. What really suprised me was that he said that I could drive the new car home that evening after signing the paperwork. Working with Kevin was a pleasant and surprising experience for me. I would definitely do business with him again. Tim Hanson, the person who handled the paperwork, was also pleasant and easy to work with.In the brief time I've been at Tucson Subaru what impressed me most was that the employees seem to genuinely enjoy working there.

The Forester Premium I was interested in , was further enhanced by his explanation of the Eyesight safety feature and also his in depth test drive , lane change assist , rear cross traffic alert . This is one safe vehicle , no only for families but a must for seniors . The color an features he pointed out , exactly what I was looking for was in transit , be in a few days . We came back , took us out and explained all these outstanding features in detail . This was a no pressure buying experience .

I overpaid for this car.Thats is my problem. When they gave me a car that needed tires and were not willing to replace the worn tires, that is a problem with the dealership. It cost me an add'l $1000.00 for the tires. I will never buy there again. Buyer beware!!!!!
Friendly, Easy Experience
Steve Norris greeted me as I arrived. He was soft spoken, and knowledgeable, allowing me to tell him what I was interested in, then providing recommendations. When it became apparent that the vehicle I wanted was not in their inventory, he recommended ordering one with the features I wanted. Steve never tried to convince me to buy something I didn't want and wasted no time finding me the right fit. There was an 8 week wait to build the vehicle in Japan and ship to the US. Steve maintained weekly communications with me, providing updates and checking in. Subaru beat their projected delivery, having the Forester ready within 7 weeks. I was immediately satisfied with waiting for the right car, which Steve continually supported. There were no tricks with financing the vehicle, and no hidden fees. Purchase of a 1017 Outback Limited 3.6
We were impressed with Kevin's service. From the first time we stopped, he did not push but showed us cars and went over aspects of the various types of Outbacks and their options. He called/emailed us to follow up but did not pressure us. When we made an appointment to test drive cars, he arranged for a fellow salesperson to drive the 3.6. He has been courteous with follow up on the delivery date and answered all our questions when we wanted to discuss changing the tires and financing a portion of the car. He spent a great deal of time with us on the day we picked up the car. He spent at least an hour going over the items on the dash, etc. I was surprised and pleased that he gave me roses and encouraged us to call him with any items that were unclear to us in the many manuals. It has been a pleasure dealing with Tucson Subaru with service on our 2005 Outback and with the purchase of our new Outback. Kevin Woessner is an excellent example of a car salesman. In addition, Curtiss McHenry was very pleasant and efficient to deal with on the financial side. It was great to not be pressured by a sales manager and have the markup explained without having to deal with another person. Kudos to Kevin, Curt and Tucson Subaru.
I enjoyed the overall low-stress process of working with Jack McVey. He is very professional and does not "push" you into a vehicle that you are not comfortable with. Ultimately, I took months to buy the Subaru Forester and was treated very professionally by everyone I came into contact with. Additionally, after purchasing the car I was presented with only 2 "Add-Ons", the extended warranty and enhanced security system. This was refreshing because usually there is a multitude of options that many dealers offer, which can add multiple thousands to the final price of the vehicle.

Saved loads of money by driving out with a new vehicle!
Id received an email offer from the Subaru dealership indicating that I could lower my monthly payments by about $35/month if I traded the 2015 Forester I was leasing for a new lease on a 2017 Forester. However, I was nearly 2,500 miles over the mileage allotment for my current lease and figured that a trade in would probably amount to losing money or, at the very best, breaking even. Needless to say, when Jacob, my sales rep, confirmed that my monthly payments would indeed drop by about $35/month if I were to trade in the 2015 Forester for a new lease on a 2017 Forester, I was very surprised [and totally unprepared to make a decision].Never expecting the numbers to work out so favorably, the great news initially was very stressful for me and literally took a few hours to sink in. With only 14 months remaining on my 2015 Forester lease, I had my sights set on a jeep or truck that could accommodate tires with mega ground clearance. As much as I loved my Forester, I wasnt sure so I wanted to go for the trade-in and reset the 3-year clock. Jacob, his manager John, [AND my dad who had flown in for a visit and could see that this was one hell of a great deal], very politely tried to talk sense into me; but I wasnt having any of it. They waited very patiently as I wrapped my head around things. Finally, [a few hours later], it dawned on me at just how awesome of deal they were offering. The 3-year clock might be starting over, but so would my mileage, [freeing me of the constant stress of being nearly 2,500 miles over or having to shell out several hundred dollars in a few months to extend the warranty, had I stayed in the 2015 Forester]. And with payments of $30-35/month less than with my 2015 Forester lease, this deal was like icing on the cake.Louie handled the finance end of things, just like with my previous lease. He is extremely personable and pleasant to work with, and I didnt mind waiting an extra 20-30 minutes in order to work with him again. This time around, there was some extra confusion since I had just purchased a new home and was in the process of changing my addresses. The rep from my insurance company needed some extra clarification, and Louie was super cool about allowing me to conference him in after hours to talk with my insurance company and ensure they took care of everything properly.

Always Treated Fairly
We wanted to downsize from two cars to one car but didn't want to go through the hassle of trying to sell one car ourselves. We phoned Chris Smith and asked for his advice because he has always treated us fairly in the past. The end result was we traded in our two Subarus, drove out with a new Forester and the dealership is sending us a check for the difference. This is the first time a dealer has ever paid us for a new car! We also achieved our objective of becoming a one car family. Chris is always easy to work with and Traci went through the paperwork very thoroughly and quickly. Both are quality employees and are an asset to Tucson Subaru.

Pleasant and courteous but still a grueling process
I started the contact with this dealership via Costco's auto-buying process. It was never clear to me just what advantage, if any, there was to being a Costco member. I was surprised when the so-called Costco discount was applied to an earlier price on a used Crosstrek which had already been reduced in price by $3000 at some point before I arrived. This seemed a little deceptive. Basically, I was left to negotiate based on on-line guidance about the dealership's actual cost and what would be a great vs. good vs. fair deal. Even then, I wasn't confident that what I was shown as evidence of the dealership's cost actually represented the dealership's out of pocket expense incurred to date for the car. In the end, I felt I negotiated a pretty good deal, but was then unprepared for the "add-ons" presented once I was handed off to one of the financing agents. I should have researched this additional step of the buying process as well as I researched the purchase price. After doing some research, I felt I had made a mistake in agreeing to an extended warranty and an enhanced security system for the car. To Tucson Subaru's credit, they graciously and timely responded to my request to remove the larger of the add-ons (the extended warranty). I will just have to accept the representation that once I'd opted for the customer-activation of the Karr security system, the dealer was on the hook for something reasonably close to what they charged me for it. My research suggests that the dealer cost might be as high as $200 so the $299 they charged didn't seem terrible, though still would be quite a mark-up! Nonetheless, the process of modifying the contract to remove the extended warranty was pretty painless proving that it doesn't hurt to ask. I am hopeful that my experience with service while my Crosstrek is under warranty will be as positive.

Bought a sunshade from Scott Buford in the parts department while we were waiting for some of the paperwork to clear. Traci Roberts gave crystal clear explanations of cost and contents of extra packages (maintenance, security, etc.). No pressure. Before we left the lot, Sean went through everything with us, including making sure our cell phones were hooked up to the car's blue tooth. Very Frustrating Experience with the Service and Repair Dept
I own a 2012 Forester and have been taking my vehicle into this dealership for maintenance over the last year. With simple tasks like oil changes and tire rotations they are adequate. Recently my air conditioner was making a concerning noise, but otherwise working fine, so I had them check it out. After multiple visits and inaccurate diagnosis, I ended up spending $400 and the noise was still there. They then proposed changing the entire compressor for $1000. I ended up declining anymore service and am currently looking for a new place to take my car for maintenance and repairs.

The customer service with this dealership is the very best! Both Cris and Traci are very knowledgable and are not pushy. They truly love their job. This is my 5th Subaru Forrester. I love the brand and will not ever purchase anything but a Subaru.
We made an appointment with a salesman.They let soeone else take it.They passed us off on someone else.He told us the car came with an item that happened to be an accessory,so they just added it to the price.He claimed he had shown us an invoice when he hadn't.We were told we just forgot.These are things that are still irratating us.We did order a vehicle that is not due in till November tenth,so we are still debating whether or not we will accept it.We feel we were treated like two old senile citizens that wouldn't know we were being insulted as it happened.

We had a 2014 Subaru Outback which we had purchased from you and really liked it. We had every intention of keeping it for many years. We received an email about trading it in for a 2017 Outback and decided to check it out. Kevin showed us the new Outback and we were very impressed. I planned to purchase a new Outback by mid-2017, but found that by purchasing now I could take advantage of the 0% financing. The many new features on the 2017 also were a selling point. Sales Consultant Ken Murch did an excellent job of clarifying all my questions.
An informative and non-pressured buying experience
Got my many questions answered. Did four test drives, but didn't feel pressured. Used Costco program and the deal was very good (and appears to be very good according to statistics on Consumer Reports auto website).

Nice center but too long of a wait
This is a very nice dealership. Friendly customer service. Waiting area is exceptional. Free wifi. Good coffee and snacks. Very clean restrooms. I think they overbooked themselves because the wait time for everyone was really long. 3.5 hours for me for an oil change. Room was filled with people and reps were apologizing. Not sure I will return due to the long wait plus price for the oil change is too high compared to others.

Professional, comprehensive, calm
This was my first Subaru purchase. Salesman Joe Micoleti was forthright, detailed when I asked, and low pressure otherwise. Plenty of time was available to drive different models. We even explored details like different color instrument cluster illumination lighting in variants of the same model. Friendly, calm, and professional folks. Highly recommended, which is unusual for me.
Kevin and Spence made the whole process from beginning to end very easy and delightful. Everyone was polite and friendly. So happy I chose Subaru. The best experience out of all the dealerships I visited in my quest for a new car.

Tucson Subaru is Outstanding.
My wife and I had a very enjoyable afternoon at Tucson Subaru, because Kevin Gribble made us feel at home. He knew the product, explained it in a way that a purchase of one their cars felt right. The staff made us feel totally at ease. It was a busy afternoon with a lot of customers, but they never slighted us nor made it seem like others were being short changed. Which they weren't. Again a good experience.
Intended to purchase a used Forester and left with a 2017 that I was able to afford with the .9% interest. Very happy. Enjoying roses.
What a nice experience!
We decided to replace our Forester so I was looking on the internet and found Tucson Subaru. They consistently had the best prices so we contacted them. CJ Nichols got right back to us and set up an appointment. What a pleasant experience! We told him we wanted a basic model so that's what he showed us. No pressure to look at more expensive models, he just showed us what we wanted. He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the 2017 model so we purchased within the hour. Tim in Finance was great, he helped us make the best choices for our budget. All n all it was a very smooth process working with really nice people. I wish I could give them 6 stars.
Timely and curteous check in
Service performed to satisfaction. Had a previous noise in the dashboard. The service department tried many different ways to duplicate it. No luck in that. Glad they listened to me and tried anyway.
So fast and easy
It was amazing they listened to me and didn't waste my time with cars outside my range, and within two cars I had found the perfect fit for me! I took some time and thought it through, came back in a couple days and I had my keys for my new car in no time at all! Everything was comfortable and everyone I worked with was so nice.
It was time to trade in my vehicle and replace it with a car that could accommodate my wants and needs. After looking at Tucson Subaru's website I new I had found what I was looking for. Pleasant, informative, easy
Kevin Gribble was extremely knowledgable, straight forward and honest. Other than all the paperwork it made leasing a car very easy. In fact, we had never thought about leasing until we went through it all with him. He also made sure we understood the options and got us what we were looking for.

We had considered a Toyota also, so we visited both dealerships within days of each other. The experiences couldn't have been more different. Although the sales staff at Toyota was nice, there was still a sense of pressure to buy a car then and there. The usual back and forth with "let me check with our finance team" two or three times. But at Tucson Subaru it was just a friendly exchange of information. Pleasant conversation, and our Sales Consultant, Mike Henry was happy to let us go home and think about it. Because of his low pressure attitude, we came back a day later and made the purchase. We feel confident we got a good deal and there was no haggling. Our experience with Tim Hanson in the finance dept was equally enjoyable. No pressure to buy the ads-ones, just solid information so we could make our own choice. Both gentlemen were very professional and yet allowed for humor to be a part of the experience. Top to bottom, best car buying experience ever! The staff at Subaru was very nice and willing to help us with our vehicle purchase. It was a better experience than my first encounter with a dealership by far.
I thought that my experience was typical of most buyers....needing information and wanting a good sales person to be comfortable with....I got both.If I had any criticism it would be that the financial process should go faster...less than 1 1/2 hour.This is a classy dealer with good skills and one walks out of there with the knowledge that they will 'listen' to your concerns.

I had a great experience at Tucson Subaru! I remember remarking to my partner more than once while we were at the dealership how it was truly a noticeably calm environment, which I really appreciated. I worked with Kevin Gribble, in sales, who was patient and knowledgeable; and with Tim Hanson, in finance, who was frank and charismatic. I felt at ease during the process and also felt that the team was respectful of my time.

I went to have my Subaru Crosstrek checked out because the tire light was on. Dan had my tires checked and filled, also he had Larsen buff out some scratches on my passenger door. My car looked so nice! Larsen did a wonderful job!

I live 120 miles away from Tucson Subaru. But I drive it for my services on the second Forester I bought with Trent's help. Recently I scheduled a service but due to a family emergency I wasn't able to keep it. I was in town with my dad at TMC. Trent and Dan got me in and serviced my car with only hours notice. Neither of them had any reservations. They just did it and got my car back to me with in a couple hours when I expected them to squeeze me in some time during the day. I expected an all day wait which would have been worth it anyway. No words can describe my/our gratitude for helping.
I bought a used car in one day!
I had spoked to C.J.Nichols previously, but when a friend and I went in on Thursday I found an Outback that was perfect for me , I was able to finance it, and finally decided to trade in my 2004 Outback which I loved. C.J. Spent a lot of time with me and shepherded me on the test drive., which was good. We had a nice lunch at Red Lobster while the paperwork was being worked on and finished it up when we got back. It did take all day and it was a very good experience at the dealership. My only complaint was on the way back ( about 40 miles into an 80 mile trip) the tire light came on and I ended up having to pump up all 4 tires in the dark. Other than that I had a very good experience and just hope the maintenance guys check the tire pressure before sending new customers out with their cars. Thank you.
Excellent service for purchase of a new vehicle
Ken Murch was recommended to me by a friend. She was right, Ken was excellent. I initially told him that I needed time and he didn't bug me. I really liked that. When I was ready to buy he took as much time as I needed to pick a vehicle. He really knows the workings of the new high-tech cars. No pressure only help.
This is a great place to buy a car! The staff are helpful and not pushy. Trent got back to me right away when I called and was helpful and upfront about everything and made the process easy and stress free. Tim handled the financing and worked hard to make sure I had a good rate. Again helpful, friendly and funny, and with no uncomfortable "sales". I would definitely go back!
