I came in by reference and spoke with Dylan Smith. After a disappointingcredit evaluation I was not approved for the truck I came to see. But that didn't stop dylan. He was able to get me financed with no cosigner on a truck. I am forever endebted to dylan and Paul Willis for making this happen. This is the 2nd vehicle that I've purchased from Tri State Ford and overall it's been a pleasant experience each time. The staff is friendly and our sales reps were Talon Crouch and Chico Munoz, both very helpful and attentive. The receptionist Glynda and Rhonda were very friendly as well. The service at this dealership is the best my husband and I have ever delt with. The best part about our experience, which we did end up purchasing a 2016 Ford Taurus, was that every employee through every step of the process was so helpful and respectful; from the receptionist to the final step, in accounting! If you are wanting to find a great dealership to buy a vehicle, I recommend Tri-State. Daven,my salesman and John Justice, the GM went above and beyond to find me the perfect truck for my needs. John Simikian,treated me like family and Johnny Taylor tried to get me the best deal possible with the banks. Tim Boggs, in finance was so very nice and explained all of my warranty to me. Rhonda, the receptionist was so sweet and friendly and very helpful during the whole process. You can't go wrong with any of the salesman there!

I have not purchased a new truck since 1998. I was not looking forward to the chore. Joseph Vallejos, Tim Boggs, and Rhonda Rose were all very professional, informative, and friendly. I felt that these people cared for me as a customer and wanted to help me through the process of purchasing my beautiful 2014 Ford Pickup. Joseph listened to what I wanted and delivered it front and center. Joseph is a very gifted young man and responsive to me as a customer. I also noticed that the dealership was very busy and other customers were being helped in the same manner. I've taken 6 months to find the perfect pair of Nike shoes, who would have ever guessed from the time I rolled onto the lot and out of the lot less than 6 hours later, I would be in a great truck. Tim Boggs is a great asset behind the front entry for your business, a great young guy. Rhonda Rose very friendly. I was within hearing distance of her work station. It was an amazing experience! Jack Pierce was able to give me exactly what I wanted with a lengthy back and forth haggle like all my past experiences. Jack was a very open and honest salesman that renewed my hope I the hope truck buying experience. I called him on the phone one day and decided to visit the store the same day. I arrived and he met me at the door. We went and looked at the truck I was interested in, it was actually on the rack in the back getting a repair( you had just received the truck). I discussed the price and what the limits were on the financial side.. We ran the credit and Jack Pierce helped me get better interest than I was expecting. It was very late in the afternoon so you were not able to detyail my truck before I purchased it, as a matter of fact after talking to Paul Willis I also purchased my warrantee and had to bring my truck back to the shop to have it inspected, lol. Honestly it was so fast and easy that the truck was received and before it could be processed by your company I was driving away in it. Unbelievably wonderful and stress free environment. I am sure that you prefer the vehicle to go thru the proper checks and inspections as it comes in, However, from a consumers point of view, Please allow every truck purchase in my future go as smooth as this one was. I am exaggerating to an some degree, Rhonda was very warm and extremely friendly during my wait for the financing to be complete. She was obviously very busy as her normal duties entertained her every moment, but was more than happy keeping me entertained while I waited and it was very nice having a friendly employee keep my mind occupied while I waited for the financing to complete. The over all experience was excellent and I will be buying from you again. Thank you very much. I would also like to add that the gentleman in the parts dept. was very helpful with the purchase of a spare key for the new truck and I know he was ready to close for the day but was willing to help me even though it meant him staying a few minutes late for his shift end. I did not catch his name but please relay myt thanks to him. He had a beard and wore glasses and was very friendly.

Everything about this car deal was a magical experience! My salesmen, Michael Bishop and Armen Simikian were amazing! They got me in a vehicle that I did not believe would get approved. Somehow, some way, they got it to happen. Their manager, Johnny Taylor helped out with the banks and got the deal done. Paul Willis made me pay more for my monthly payment but the additions will help me out in the long run. Rhonda Rose must be an angel; she knows how to keep a smile on all the faces in the dealership, including the salesmen. Absolute best experience buying a vehicle and I will undoubtly will be back and referring people to Tristate Ford. What an experience!

We went in with expectations for the type of vehicle, options and payment plan that we wanted. There were only 4 Fusion models available on the lot, but one of them was exactly what we were looking for and more. Armen, our sales associate and John, the facility manager, made our experience all worthwhile. They both worked diligently to make this purchase happen for us. Even though with add-ons during the finance process causing the monthly payments to be above what we were hoping for, we really did get an AWESOME deal!! Thank you Paul for explaining all the add-ons so we could understand exactly what we were getting. This is a 25 year anniversary gift for my wonderful wife, so there was no way I was letting this car get away!! Also a shout out to Rhonda, the facility receptionist. She was there to have a short chat when needed while we were waiting in between stages of the purchase. We are extremely satisfied that we made our choice to visit this location!! My wife and I went in and we were looking for a new car. We have been to a few other places around the area, and some good ... but some salesmen made us feel unwanted. We pulled into Tri-State Ford, and right away we were met with a smiling face. Michael was so helpful, and he was not scared to be a real person to us. If he didn't know an answer, he found it right away. The first day we came, we stayed past closing, but he was ready to help us! We did not want to buy that day, and he was more than okay with that, and no pressure to try and get us in the car before we left. When we came back, he was there early to met with us. John, the New Cars Manager was also there to help us out. He was about helping us out a lot. The car I wanted was not on the lot, but he went searching and search for the car I wanted. He did not just find one that I would want, but a few. Both guys opened up about their life, and not just tried to sell us on our car. Michael told us about is life, girlfriend, his mother's cooking, and what ever else came up in conversation. John told us about his new born, and all of the great stories with those. They both did a great job at selling a car, but they made us feel like we were apart of the process, plus their lives. Conversation was not just about numbers, cars, and trying to get us out of the lot with a new car, but instead about what we wanted. After a few times, we did leave with a new car, but it was not the first time we went in. I also wanted to say that Aaron, their finance guy, did a great job at explaining everything.

We had talked to several dealers in a 200 mile radius about the vehicle we wanted but no one was willing to work with us on a reasonable price. The sales rep we worked with (Chico) and the New Car Manager (John) were outstanding. They worked with us to find a happy medium on the price, much more than any other dealership was willing to negotiate. Once we agreed on a price for the new truck, they appraised our current truck and gave us the amount we REALLY wanted for it. After the price was finalized, the finance manager (Aaron) quickly put together all of the necessary paperwork. The whole process took less than two hours - from driving on to the lot to driving off with our new truck. Even after the deal was done, they CONTINUED to provide amazing customer service! They included our spray in bed liner and floor mats into the deal, and they even drove my fiance to taco bell because we were starving! They were timely and professional throughout the whole process. They treated us like royalty even after we bought the truck. When we took the truck back for our appointment to get the bed sprayed for the liner, they gave us a dealer loaner - KNOWING that we lived hundreds of miles away. My family has always used this dealership and has always had great personable experiences. If you find the right salesman they'll set you up! Michael Story always does a fantastic job in working out the details and communicating what needs to be done and helping until completion. Eli had helped initially in finding a vehicle using my given qualifications. It felt like Eli was trying too hard for the sale and did not use his skills in building a connection and listening to our financial needs but still did a good job and found me the truck I drove off the lot. Rhonda, the receptionist, was very friendly and was very personable while we were waiting for the financials to be processed and when she dealt with other clients throughout the evening.

We are very pleased with everyone at Tri-State Ford. James and Chico were our salesman and did an excellent job! We wanted our grill guard; running boards; and tool box moved over to the Ford F350 we traded for. They worked everything out to get that done in a timely and professional manner. If you are from out of state and broke down please walk past this dealership. Me and my wife broke down pulling fithwheel trailer blew engine on f250 after half a day in service department I was told 26,000 for new engine so I figured maybe new truck somthing that can handle load so decided on f350 well finally after 10 hours in dealership and 3 kids we were rushed in for paperwork not happy on traid but what could I do so we came back the next day and got truck that I had to get new fithwheel put in because I was told mine would not work had to pay for that we got to leave to Utah after we got home in ms we really got to looking well i found out only a 1000 dollers trade for 2010 f250 in good shape just blown engine that was bad enough then noticed the payoff is included in my bank loan for new truck so I get to pay for it as well when we called sales manager he said he has no trouble sleeping at night please never go to this place they are crooks and will lie to you and o yes they will not respond to use about taxes for vehicle

on 1/08/15 I was on my way from St. Louis to CA. My old Ford f-350 broke down. I had to get towed to Tri-State. They were great. They got on finding out the problem right away. I also looked at a new truck. The service department was great had the problem figured out and on it right away. I desided to get a new truck. Jori Sprouse helped me find what I could afford and would fill my needs. She also help find a place for me and my two dogs to stay the night. I would like to express my warmest appreciation to all the team of Tri-State Ford of Amarillo, but particularly to Mr. Brian Shannon for the exceptional service I received, while I was there, for repairs on my Ford Focus. When you find yourself 2000 miles away from home (in Canada) with a transmission issue, and when you learn that the part for the required repair is back-order for several months nation-wide in the USA (where you happen be just then), that makes for a stressful situation indeed. It is thanks to Mr. Brian Shannon, who took the time to listen to me carefully and to give me judicious advice about what I could do next, that I was able to get out of my predicament and recover the use of my vehicle in what I think is an exceptionally short time. For Mr. Shannon, the client's satisfaction is not just marketing spin. After listening to me, he suggested that I contact my dealer in Canada to see if they could do anything for me in this rather unusual circumstance. Following this advice, I was able to obtain from my canadian dealer that he ships the required part to Tri-State Ford in Amarillo in order for them to make the repair. Yes I was surely lucky but, without Mr. Shannon's advice, I was stuck. I also want to extend my thanks to all the Tri-State Ford team in Amarillo who worked quickly and efficiently to get my car back in order in the shortest timeframe. Finally, thanks to the unknown employee who drove me back to the rental car agency so that I could return the car I had to rent during this saga. I am sure he finished work past closing time that day, because we were already awfully close to closing-time when we got started. Thanks to all.

On Saturday April 11th while in route from Ohio to Las Vegas, my 2014 Ford Edge blew a tire on I-40 just east of Amarillo on an overpass. First, a young man came along and offered to change the tire and get away from a dangerous location, leading us to Tri-State Ford dealer before AAA arrived to help. Cody Bradford in the Service Dept. took over and was wonderful. He helped cancel the AAA call, checked out the warranty, found a replacement tire, and sent us on our way two-and-a-half hours later. What could have been a total nightmare was not, thanks to the young man who stopped to help us on the road and thanks to Cody for handling the situation with efficiency and courtesy. We were very impressed and grateful! Thank you, Cody!

This was my first purchase with Tri-state Ford and I can honestly say I will not return for any further purchases. I will start out with saying I found Jack and two other employees friendly. We had been speaking/texting with Jack for a good two weeks before we headed to Amarillo to purchase a new Explorer. I believed at the time everything was arranged with the final purchase price, to the trade in value of my old vehicle, to the financing that was already arranged. I expect to walk in sign a few papers and leave quickly (this has been my experience in the past with a different dealership). The day started with us arriving at the dealership excited to pick up our new vehicle (as everyone is when it comes to getting a new car). We were greeted with the front desk receptionist, who was one of the three that was friendly, she paged Jack overhead. Jack came and greeted us, we were asked to hand over a key to our old car (for the dealership to go on a test drive). The man who took our old car on a test drive, return to the dealership without saying one word to us (myself and my husband) breezed by us like we were invisible and returned with another man to go on another test drive. Still no communication made with us. They returned, entered an office and emerged a little later to pull us aside. This was the point the Corey Pringle informed us that the original trade in value was null and void do the issues my vehicle had, mind you we had already explained everything wrong with the car prior to this and a trade in value had been agreed upon. He attempted to explain along with Jack that this was not a 'bait and hook' trick, he just felt at the price quoted to us was more then he was willing to agree on now and dropped it by $2500.00. We decided to purchase the vehicle because we do like the vehicle. I have enjoyed my new Explorer just not the process of obtaining it. I do not see myself returning to this establishment in the future for any further purchases.

I went online to get information about the Ford Fiesta. I was then directed to submit an online credit check. I immediatly got an email and a phone call from Jack Pierce who was very courteous and professional. He encouraged me to come in the next day to see what he had in stock and I did. I wound up purchasing the 2014 Ford Fiesta and I LOVE IT!The original phone call from Jack was at 8:30 on Friday night & I drove away with my new car before 6:30 Saturday afternoon! The whole process was very speedy and hassle free.I later found out that the dealership closes at 7 pm but that they had held a meeting after work & that is why he was able to call me so late that evening. Unlike my experience in the past, when Michael approached me at the dealership I felt no pressure at all. Just two guys talking about trucks. He made me feel very comfortable and at ease. These people had the poorest communication skills i have come across in a long time. I was the one calling everyday to find out what was going on. Say they will call to let me know what is going on. yeah right. I contacted Tri State for a internet quote on a vehicle that I'd seen online......waited, waited, waited, and was finally contacted by (as he described himself wee little internet manager). I had been researching the eco boost and they had one equipped the way I wanted it......they were proud of it tooo.....the GM's demo...In the meantime, (while I waited for them to contact me, ) I saw the same truck on another dealers website, later found out their sister store, and asked for a quote from them as well. The internet manager there was great, and when I buy it will more than likely be from him, Curtis Green.... As for the internet manager at Tri-State......Denis---(mind you I've waited several days to cool off on this one) he was a condesending AZZ, and that is being nice.....he avoided answering my questions about a 695 charge for this and a 299 charge for that and would never level with me as to what the added cost was to the sticker I kept seeing online....the numbers just did not match up......a bunch of fluff if you ask me. I'm a reasonable guy and I understand you need to make profit but making all on me......I have no interest in paying all your bills sir............a long story shortened...this by far was the most unprofessional and unfavorable experience I've ever had.....I waited several days to put this review in as I needed time to cool off.....I would copy the email I was sent, scolding me for not showing up to an appointment....are you for real....maybe my wife's wreck was a blessing....a way for the man up stairs to tell me to run like heck away from here.

Most of the dealerships wouldn't even allow him to drive the cars because he was 18, but Tri-State understood that this was about and for him and really gave him the royal treatment. My 1998 Ford Windstar Van, which we purchased in 1999, literally broke down on the road next to the dealership. Mark showed into the offices, made sure I received a phone book to call a tow truck, then offered to tow my van on to the dealer lot so it would not block traffic. He mentioned the option of having your service deptartment look into it and possibly looking at replacement vehicle on your lot. Because he made a bad situation for me as comfortable and pleasant as it could have possibly been, I asked that he take the van to the service bay for me instead of calling for a tow truck to take to a dealer across town for service. He was sincere, helpful and courteous, we could not even consider purchasing a new vehicle from another dealership. I might mention we have purchased 4 Ford vehicles in the last 21 years from Gene Messer Ford in Amarillo, (Messer also has serviced our vehicles over the years) and would have gone back to them if Mark had not been so helpful and courteous. Tri-Star Ford take note: He is a valuable asset to your business. His sincere, freindly, helpful, courteous and service oriented personality in a rare find in world where consumers rarely experience these quailities from most businesses.The overall buying experience was by far the very best experience my husband and I have ever had.
