New Tundra Purchase

As many people feel, when it comes to buying a car, a root canal can be more appealing. I had put off purchasing my new Tundra for many months because the idea of walking onto a dealership lot made me nauseous. The high pressure, the guilt, the confusion, etc. As you pull into most dealerships the Sales Associates are standing out front ready to attack and pour on the pressure. I searched and visited about 10 different Toyota dealerships in the Bay Area looking for the one that made me feel comfortable and welcome. I did not want to be pressured, I just wanted to browse at my own pace. Well, I found my Dealership. It is Toyota Town of Stockton. Kevin Hamlin made my experience completely enjoyable and FAR exceeded all of my expectations in buying a car. With Kevin, there is ZERO pressure and he will be 100% honest with you. Beyond pleased with the experience I had today at Toyota Town of Stockton. Kevin did everything he could to help me get into the car I've been wanting! I applied for the vehicle online and he helped me get through finance, with Ahmed, so I'd only have to come in and sigh the papers! He even went out of his way and showed up to the dealership, ON HIS DAY OFF, to make sure it was a smooth sail for me! The best car buying experience of my life!

I went to 3 other Toyota dealers before I came to Toyota Town and 1 dealer after my visit to Toyota Town but I came back to Toyota Town because of the initial contact I had made with Kevin Hamlin. On my initial visit, Kevin was attentive, patient and spent a lot of time with me while I made him run a variety of purchase scenarios. I have nothing ill to say about the other dealerships but I felt that Keven was providing me with the best and most personalized service. I came back to Toyota Town (with my wife this time; the car was for her) and we were able to make a deal that I felt was fair and on a car that really fit our needs/wants. We were even pleasantly surprised by an option that we didn't think we were going to get. The entire time during our interaction with Kevin, he was pleasant, personable and respectful and we genuinely had an enjoyable time with him. When we got to the Finance Dept. we were introduced to Jeff Renwick and it was just like dealing with Kevin. Jeff was really helpful and personable and we had a rather boisterous time with Jeff, relating family stories and telling jokes. The entire experience was the most fun I've ever had buying a car, and I've bought a lot of cars over the years. We bought a couple of accessories for our new car and even the folks in the Parts Department were pleasant and helpful. I would definitely came back to Toyota Town and buy from them again and I would recommend Toyota Town to anyone wanting to buy a car. The customer service is second to none!

Professional and Prices cannot be beat

This is the second Toyota Highlander that I have purchased through Kevin Hamlin from Toyota town of Stockton in the last 2 years. My first purchase from Toyota Town was in May of 2014, I purchased a Toyota Highlander LTD Platinum. I had done all my homework, I knew the Consumer Reports dealer cost and Holdback, I knew what other people were paying through True Car. I knew what a good friend had paid for a Highlander Limited in Fresno. I was fortunate enough to make contact with Kevin Hamlin the internet sales manager at Toyota Town of Stockton. He told me what he had coming in and the price he would sell it for, it was as easy as that. His price was much less than what my Friend had just paid for a Limited and Kevin was selling me a Platinum. From the homework I had done I knew it was truly an exceptional price. When it came in he called me during the week. I couldn't go until the weekend and he held the vehicle for me until Saturday. Car buying had never been so simple. I dealt with a professional, and not the sterotypical car salesman. All the terms and arrangements were made by email and a phone call. (Simplicity in buying a Car). All that was left was for me to drive to the dealership, sign the paperwork and pickup the SUV.Because a tractor trailer lost his axle on the freeway and it hit and totaled my 2014 Highlander. I was in need of another Highlander. Immediately looked at the local dealership Inventories to see if any of them had a Highlander LTD with the technology package and the color. I looked through the Costco program and had to dealer locally that had the vehicles that matched what I wanted. However I already knew that if Kevin had the vehicle he would provide me with a lower price. I called Kevin in the morning, and by the afternoon he sent me the specs on a Highlander he located at another dealer. Sure enough his price was well worth the trip to Stockton. Maybe more importantly I feel I have a trusted relationship with Kevin, based on his performance, I know that he is a man of his word and his representations are 100% true. You do not have to carry the skeptical attitude that you must have when dealing with other salesman and dealerships that are telling you they are giving you a great deal and they are not. I believe he is a man of integrity and the kind of person you could send your aged mother to buy a car and know that he would not try to take advantage of her. If you are in the market for a new Toyota, do your self a service and get a quote from Kevin, you will not be disappointed and you will be treated professionally.

Trade in my Rav 4 for Corolla from ASHLEY

Ashley who is the Internet Manager helped me as I was driving from Washington DC to California. Buying my Rav4 through Stockton Toyota was absolutely the best decision I could have made! My husband and I shopped around and we should not have even wasted our time doing that. Before I spoke (on phone) with Kevin at Toyota Town, I had visited two dealerships and called at least 10 around SF Bay area. Kevin offered me the best deal, entire discussion took less than than 5 min and I was ready to buy. I found Kevin very direct and honest. Communication was very smooth and effective. Service above and beyond my expectations

I would first like to thank Eric Zheng for his efforts in helping me purchase my new Tacoma. Sadly I had a horrible experience at Livermore Toyota a salesperson told me he had the truck I wanted but when we got there he said it was sold and proceeded to try and sell me another truck that was way out of my price range and they would have the truck I wanted in a few weeks. Luckily I was in contact with Eric and he was upfront and honest and told me that he could have the one I wanted in a weeks time. I really appreciated the honesty and time he put into making sure I was satisfied.

Outstanding Buying Experience at Toyota Town of Stockton

I would like to comment on the service and conduct that I received by Toyota Town of Stockton, and in particular, Eric Zheng. Lets start with the bottom line; in my 55 years of life, it was the one of the finest purchasing experiences that I have had. 1st. Efficiency: I was contacted minutes after I had made the internet inquiry on the Toyota website, as opposed to the hours, days with other dealers that I had reached out to. 2nd Price: Hands down, Toyota Town of Stockton defeated all competitors. Eric Zheng was able to negotiate a price low enough to compel me to drive from 3 hours away to purchase. The price was so good that I was actually able to upgrade to the next level of Prius, and still stay within my budget. 3rd Professionalism: I could not have asked for better treatment as a customer, than the treatment I received from Mr. Zheng. It is obvious that Toyota Town of Stockton screens their staff aggressively; and the professionalism of Mr. Zheng is a clear reflection of that. From the time I came through the door until the time I drove off the lot, Eric Zheng made certain that every question that I had was answered; and being a consultant for a living, I asked a lot of questions. I spent a good deal of time looking at different trim levels and colors. Due the the large inventory that is on hand at Toyota Town of Stockdon, it required that I be shuttled to an off site parking area. As a result, I was able to drive a Prius to and from, in addition to my test drive. This gave me a valuable feel for the new Prius and a confidence in the decision to purchase. 4th Offers during the sales demonstration: Add on products or back end products offered through Toyota by Mr. Zheng, were done in a very professional, non invasive, non-over pressured manner. While I did not purchase all of them, I did purchase an extended warranty. 5th Offers during the purchase transaction: Again, Add on products or back end products offered through Toyota by Adam Baza, were done in a very professional, non invasive or non-over pressured manner. They were well explained and offered. The efficiency and speed that Mr. Baza worked at to complete the paperwork was impressive. 6th Vehicle Set Up: Mr. Zheng spent a good deal of time training, explaining and familiarizing me with the set up of the GPS, Premium Sound System, and Electronic Dash Board settings. He explained in excellent detail. the system that Toyota calls Entune. When I left the lot, I did not have to set the clock, date etc. myself. There was no ambiguity as to how to scroll through the menus. The vehicle was ready from the gate; and I had full knowledge of the other Entune options that were available to me; as well as how to change settings. 7th Follow up: Eric Zheng followed up 2 times post sale to be certain that I was a satisfied customer and to answer any questions that I might have regarding the vehicle settings, just in case I may have forgotten. This was not only unexpected, but very impressive. It showed a genuine concern for me as a customer and a great way to cement my return to Toyota Town of Stockton as a repeat customer. I did not feel hustled out the door post sale as I have with other purchases at different manufacturer dealerships over the years. Toyota Town of Stockton has got it right with their customer relations/sales person training and policies. Eric Zheng is an excellent representative of those policies. Well done Toyota Town of Stockton.In my profession, customer service and satisfaction are paramount and must be strictly adhered to. Xiaoyu Eric Zheng is an excellent example of those compulsory attributes.Clearly, I will refer any of my friends or family to Toyota Town of Stockton, when considering a Toyota purchase; just as I was referred by a close friend, that drove from Fresno to Toyota Town of Stockton, to make his purchase.

New Car Purchase

I have purchase 3 Toyota's in my life and it's such an amazing car. On 5/152016 I took my Mom to pickup her first Toyota, a Rav4. Kevin Hamlin the Internet Director of sales helped us and my mom couldn't have had a better experience. Kevin came in on his day off and cut his vacation short for us. That's the service that makes you keep coming back. I purchased my first Toyota in 1996 and my 3rd in 2008 and I've never done a service anywhere but Stockton Toyota Town. Being a first buyer can be very nerve and scary. I don't know anything about the car. When we went there,we were so happy that there is a person who can speak Chinese. Our English is not very good, that helps me a lot. Eric is a very performance , he helped us a lot and got us an amazing deal. We bought the car very quick without doubt . Let me start off by saying this was my first car me and my wife purchased from any dealer. I live in antelope and before consign down to Stockton Toyota town I did 2 months of research and dealt with over 15 dealerships and many more sales personal/management across the Sacramento area and even towards the Bay Area. Everyone was different and everyone had their own stories to tell to tempt me into buying from them with reasons why should here and not there and why I should buy today and not tomorrow. Somewhat the color I wanted but then not the interior, some had both but the the trim of the car, some tried to sell me the color I specifically kept saying I do not like and I do not want. Too much Pressure and I didn't like any of that it was frustrating and it almost made me quit on my attempt to buy a Highlander After 2 month I decided to do something I should've done a long time ago, go and see Toyota town of Stockton. I spoke with Kevin Hamin and I was very happy with the response he gave me. I was very specific in what I wanted and he got Everything down for me just how I wanted it, No questions asked! honestly I was nervous because I thought it was too good to be true that I finally found someone who agrees to give me exactly what I want for the price I want. It's amazing how if you want something just keep trying and you'll get what you ask for and with Kevin Halmin I got exactly what I wanted and more! Kevin Hamlin is the best sales person I've ever dealt with

Updated 5/18/16 to reflect car purhase: Kevin Hamlin is one great person to work with on buying a car. Although I initially missed out on the exceptional deal he had lined up for me on a 2016 Camry XLE V6, due entirely to an email problem on my end, Kevin contintued to assist me and try to help me find what I was looking for. In the end, he was able to get me into the car we had initially discussed and I've been happy every moment since then. He was upfront and honest. My BS detector never went off a single time, and I've got a very sensative BS detector when it comes to car sales (I've owned nearly a dozen and helped many friends with their purchases).Shop around all you want, but if you don't at least check in with Kevin to ensure he can't beat your current deal, you are probably paying more than you should for your Toyota. DO NOT buy a Toyota anywhere else without at least checking with Kevin first.More update on 5/18/16: I've now had the pleasure of working with the parts department and Alan Meyers, head of the parts department. Everyone has been extremely firendly, efficient and accomodating. I live near Marysville and work in Sacramento. There are at least 8 closer Toyota dealerships I can think of, yet as long as the Service Dept at Toyota Town of Stockton lives up to the high expectations set by Kevin in Sales and Alan in Parts, I will bet taking my new 2016 Camry XLE V6 to Stockton for every routine mainentance and repair. I've owned an '88 Celica GTS, '99 Camry LE, '07 Camry XLE V6, and now a '16 Camry XLE V6. I've dealt with dealerships all over the greater Sac metro area and from Yuba City to Chico, but never received the kind of personal treatment as I have from Kevin Hamlin, Alan Meyers, and I soon hope the service department. I'm a lifer on Toyota quality and as of now, I'm a lifer on Toyota Town of Stockton. My wife wants the Scion FR-S to replace her '93 BMW 325is w/ 260K miles, so we plan to reach out to Kevin again within the next six months or so, and start a whole new relationship.I'll close by simply repeating myself: shop around all you want, but if you don't check in with Kevin Hamlin at Toyota Town in Stockton before buying, there's a xxxx good chance you're paying more than you have to for your next Toyota or Scion.

2016 highlander

Let me start off by saying this was my first car me and my wife purchased from any dealer. Everyone was different and everyone had their own stories to tell to tempt me into buying from them with reasons why should here and not there and why I should buy today and not tomorrow. Somewhat the color I wanted but then not the interior, some had both but the the trim of the car, some tried to sell me the color I specifically kept saying I do not like and I do not want. I reached out to Stockton when I found they had what I was looking for in stock. At first I had a sales rep see if the vehicle was on the lot and never got a call back in the time frame I wanted. I would have docked all my stars if I didn't get Kevin on the phone after I called right back waiting for the first sales person to "check if the vehicle was in stock." Considering it is difficult to find vehicle, sales should have known better.Anyhow. The 5 stars goes to Kevin Hamlin. It was great from the start I called on Monday, picked the vehicle up next day. He made sure everything was set with the vehicle (including connecting my phone to Bluetooth) and I was out quick with my new ride. Reach out to him if you need a new Yota. I was in the market for a new Tundra. I shopped around for the best price. I sent an online inquiry about a Tundra that was in transit. I simply asked for their best price. Kevin responded in a very quick fashion. He quoted me a very aggressive price from the bat. A price none of the surrounding dealerships could touch! I asked Kevin to let me know when the truck arrives on the lot (which was a few days from my first inquiry). Kevin emailed me, I came down that Saturday. Talk about an easy transaction. Wow! Promises Were Kept

I was interested in buying a Prius, so I went to Toyota's website and sent out an inquiry to every dealership in a 20-mile radius. I had done my research and found a fair price for the car I wanted. Many Toyota dealerships got back to me via email, but it was Xiaoyu "Eric" Zheng from Toyota Town in Stockton who was able to quickly understand that I already had an exact car in mind with a fair price in mind.Eric was able to get the car I wanted to his location in just a few short days and when I came in to pick it up, he gave me a hassle-free experience with no tricks or games. He gave it to me for the exact price we had discussed online. He helped guide me through the paperwork and then sooner and easier than I expected, I was sitting in the waiting room for my new car to be ready to be taken home. Eric insisted that I leave with a clean car and a full tank, after all. :)Asif Mahmood in financing did a great job explaining all of my options for extended warranties and financing options. I politely declined any extended warranties and Asif took each no for an answer and respected my decisions. No hassle from financing, and when all was said and done, I signed a contract for the price I had expected to pay before I walked in the door.Eric and Asif gave me a pleasurable experience when other dealerships couldn't even get through the e-mailing phase without frustrating me. And to top everything all off, when I had asked Eric for some alloy wheel locks, he directed me to the parts department and helped me get a great price on them! He had already sold the car! 2016 Tundra TRD Pro

These trucks are extremely rare & hard to come by but Kevin was able to make it happen and now turning 40 doesn't seem that bad. The truck arrived late in the afternoon but the Toyota Town of Stockton team did whatever it took to get the truck ready for me to pickup late that same afternoon since we had to drive about an hour to pick the truck up. Wonderful Experience! Will recommend!

My family been looking for a new 2016 Toyota Tacoma for a few months now. We specially wanted a double cab with extended bed, which I have been told is pretty rare to find. During our search, we went to Maita Toyota and Elk Grove Toyota. We always got the answer that Tacoma is Toyota top product and the truck is already reserved by the time it arrives at their dealership. The dealerships wanted us to buy the truck for MSRP and order it specially. However, that was not an option because it was beyond our budget.Then we meet Kevin Hamlin at Toyota Town of Stockton. Kevin was referred to us from a friend. Kevin found the truck with the extended bed and double cab from Davis. He personally drove it back to Stockton and called us to look at the car. The sticker price for the truck that they had put on the car in Davis was 39k. Jason sold the car for us for a little under 34k before taxes. Kevin answered all our questions and was very patient with us. He was straight forward and gave us a very fair price. He was even kind enough to allow us to stay in his office while he was working because we had a baby with us. I would recommend Kevin to anyone who is looking for a car if you want to work with a honest salesman.

What I liked is our sales person Jake Nano, listening to what we have to say and trying so hard to achieve what would like.Always keeping us inform on what is happening with the transactions. We also appreciate the finance officer Ahmed in trying to get the paperwork done in a timely matter and as smooth as it can be for the transaction off the contract. First time buying a car and it was great!

I recently decided that I needed a new car since my old one was giving me lots of trouble. I visit 4 different dealerships and I always walked out with my same old care because one I didn't like the customer service or the sales person didn't take me serious since I am only 20 years old. Toyota in Stockton was more of I am just going to come in and look around and I walked out with my 2012 Toyota Corolla. Customer service is excellent, they were able to work with my stepdad and I so I can get the best and lowest interest rate I could and they actually took me serious about buying a car. I will defiantly be back whenever I need a new car!

I called the dealership yesterday, spoke with a sales rep, and he was going to "talk to his boss" and call me back. He never did. I also emailed TWICE and got only one form letter as a response. This is a they type of dealership that Toyota is famous for...the WORST customer service in the industry. I ended up using Lithia Toyota in Springfield, OR. Worth the drive to get a dedicated, polite, thorough sales rep. I recommend Keith Moreck, super knowledgeable, and he makes you feel important even if you don't buy a car from him!

Very Impressed !

Very impressed by how easy and painless it was getting into a new RAV4. My lease was due to be up in January on a 2013 so I was not looking forward to trying to find my next car. I knew I wanted a 2015 Because I've loved driving it since the complete reconfigure on the model. EVERYTHING- Kevin took care of me the entire time. He knew I was trying to stick to a budget, never pressured me, listened to my needs, explained the different financing options making sure I would be able to afford the payment- I just felt cared for the whole time. Great car buying experience!!!

I first called to clarify their incentives/hours and said I was interested in a RAV4. Kevin answered, was very helpful, and said to ask for him if I came in. Little did I know when I asked for him at the front door, I bypassed all the salesmen and Kevin listened and answered ALL my questions professionally and honestly. He explained different car options, payment/financing/trade-in options without leaving the room to consult anyone else. Not once did he try to up-sell the latest and greatest but instead, helped by trying to keep me in my price range. His integrity and professionalism is what made me come back after a short lunch and time to think. I knew I would not be able to come across this low-pressure car buying experience ever again. He stayed with me throughout the whole process (other than the financing paperwork), had the car prepared expertly, handed me the keys, synced my iPhone via Bluetooth to the car, explained all the different car functions, showed me where everything was, taught me how to set up radio stations, how to use the touchscreen computer- I could go on and on about how fortunate I was in this large purchase which I take very seriously (I keep my cars for as long as possible) and Kevin was able to make any apprehension go away. I will be back to see you for any future car purchases.

I bought my 2015 Corolla LE from Kevin Hamlin (Internet Director) as few weeks a go and to my surprise it was a very pleasant sales experience. Service person was professional and very helpful. We were alerted regarding one wheel not matching the others, which was an error made by an auto body repair shop after an accident earlier this year.
