Yesterday, my husband and I had traded in our 2009 car for a 2017 Toyota Camry SE at this place. As an older couple, my husband and I were nervous at first. However, the employees at Toyota Place made the entire process simple and understandable for us. I would like to give a special thanks to Tracy, Victor, and Tim for providing us with a fantastic and wonderful visit. I was amazed at how kind and polite they were. Everybody has different expectations and opinions but mine was excellent.Toyota Place was my 1st. stop to "scan" through to test the new models. At the dealer, most employees seemed to be nice and friendly, but the one that got my attention was Mr. Tan Le.Tan Le explained and showed me the products in detail so I could compare and decide my purchase. Everything was so positive that I decided to buy my first 2015 Camry LE Hybrid from this dealer. Even after the purchase a few days later, Mr. Tan Le would answer all my questions from his home. This is a good man to do business with.Now I have a car from Toyota Place with a good deal.

Got my 2015 Toyota Prius C here couple days ago. Had a great time and everyone was friendly.Stanley Vo was the guy to talk to. He helped my brother and I throughout the process. It was a great experience as a first-time buyer. Overall, everything was a great.
After reading reviews from previous years, I am not the only one that has had issues with their contracts from Toyota Place. After clearly stating that we didn't want any extra features on the car, the finance person still managed to leave the alarm in the contract. Feeling taken advantage of I brought up the issue to the dealership, to only get this response "After taking a closer look at your contract, there is nothing we can do". The customer does not come first at this dealership. I was loyal to the Toyota brand but after this experience I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Now my nephew is stuck with this car for 3 years, will be trading it in BEFORE the lease ends just so we don't have any ties with this dealer. The only person I cannot speak ill of is Karina, she offered as much help as she could.
Excellent customer service
Went in to buys a new Camry hybrid. A minor mix up on quoted price was quickly resolved to our satisfaction. Our preferred color choice and availability was limited but Tan Le quickly worked with other dealers to find the exact car that we wanted. It took awhile but was worth it for their very competitive price and service.

I've been searching a new car for a while and honestly all the sales consultants I've met are just bothering you about "making a deal now" and "what's stopping you from doing a deal today?" but when I went to Toyota Place Jose Cendejas was just absolutely excellent in being honest with you and had the best service I've seen. He didn't rush you into anything and explained the deals that they had going on in the dealer. Entirely you're choice if you decide to come back or not. Overall staff was really good. Finance person was even funny. I would recommend coming to this dealer and ask for Jose.

Utterly terrible experience turned into a worthwhile one...
This is a Toyota location that I always come to for anything that I need. My son bought his 2012 Camry and my daughter bought her 2014 Corolla here. I have never had a negative experience at ToyotaPlace. Recently I came in for a recall and left my Rav4 with the tech to have it serviced for the recall. When I got the car back, it was not in the same condition that I left it. The tech had the worst customer service I had ever experienced anywhere. He was so rude and condescending, and I felt so helpless I wanted to cry. Then came Darren Onaga who was very patient and sympathetic. He took the time to listen to me and understand my problem and went out of his way to make sure that I was okay. Despite the experience starting out horrendously, my interaction with Darren made me feel better and that convinced me that the tech was just one bad seed. I have been back to ToyotaPlace many times and every experience has been very pleasant. I want to thank Darren Onaga for giving me his time and I will continue to return to ToyotaPlace for my Toyota needs.

When I went to Toyota Place it was still there and after Vu Tran the salesman was very helpful and showed me all the details of the car and with a test drive I decided to purchase the car. I usually come to Toyota Place to get service for my oil change. The wait time they told me was 1 hour and 15 minutes. I believe that was a very long time to do an oil change, considering the fact that there were not other cars around mine but I let that slide. I waited over 1 hour and 30 minutes and I still have not got a call my car was done so I went to the cashier to ask about my car. They said they did not have the sheet so I should go look for my Service Representative. I went to look for him, but he was on lunch. I go back to the cashier and and told them the situation. They said they will go get some one to find out of my car was finished. I finally was able to get my car and leave. The whole total time was almost 2 hours for an oil change. Took too long for my liking.

They honored the sales price and the O% interest for 60 months. Financing dept. informed me of several options and was not pushy at all with my decisions and I had my new car. My experience was very positive. My car was serviced in a timely manner, the staff were all polite and courteous. The facility was clean and comfortable.2 thumbs up to Vinny my service representative. 2 thumbs up to a fellow in your parts department whose name I do not remember but was helpful in referring me to Caliber Collision. I have a 1996 Avalon that I will most likely be bringing in for service as soon as I get the dents fixed.
The salesman (Tan? maybe his name) was very helpful and he genuinely cared. He did not pushed me to get something beyond my ability nor "B S"ing stuff, like most car sales men are known to do. With that, I really appreciated it.

I was thrown off and inconvenienced by getting two separate "first time" maintenance appt. letters sent to my house. I decided on my own to just go with the latter date. An out of no where emergency took place in my life forcing me to relocate to san jose so I called 2 different days to see about coming in this week outside my scheduled appointment. The first time I left a message with my issue and phone number and after a couple of days of never getting a call back a called again, got no answer so just got up and headed over. I got there the two guys taking customers in were busy with other customers so I waited in the lobby for 10-15 min. In my head the entire time I was ready to be that horrible and annoying customer, because in the past I have had a lot of miscommunication in the short time since I've purchased from the dealership. But my turn came up, the guy took 5 min or less to do everything he needed to, i went home, and my car was ready less than an hour later. I never had a chance to complain. So great customer service once I got there. Just wish I was more educated by your team or given time when I seeked understanding. I don't understand how such a company has a voice message system but can't respond.

It's really hard to hand over my keys to someone else. However, Sammy D from Toyota place is extremely helpful and I trust him and his team to take care of my car. I never have to worry about my car once it's in Sammy D's supervision.

Go to this place if you want to leave without purchasing the car you want. My wife and me went ready to buy a vehicle at an advertised price from toyota.com and Jerry was quick to discredit the advertised price. The vehicle even had a check engine light on and he still wanted to talk numbers. We tried to work a deal for another vehicle and all he wanted to talk about was a 5-7 year APR of 4-6% before even agreeing on a price for the vehicle or running our credit. We went back and forth with him for over an hour. Complete waste of time. Went to another nearby Toyota dealer the following day and bought the car I wanted with lower miles on it at 1.9% in less than an hour. Stay away from this place.
I love "the personal touch" kind of service they provide. The waiting room is comfortable with the enjoyable free coffee and popcorn.
Great Services at Toyota Place
The metal cover below my gas tank became loose over time and I started to hear rattling noise when I drive. I took it to Toyota Place, the service consultant was very helpful and knowledgeable. Answered all my questions accurately and honestly. He informed me that they needed to order the kit to fix the problem and that I can leave my car overnight and pick it up the next morning and sure enough, it was ready the next morning. They also found a oil leak on both of my axles and fixed them without charge based on the extended warranty that I had. I also had an oil change there. Their customer lounge offered an AC conditioned with flat screen TV and free buttered popcorn, coffee, and chocolate drinks which I really appreciated since I didn't have breakfast before I came. They also offered me free bus shuttle home once it was determined that my car has to stay overnight. On top of everything, they washed my car as well. They provided terrific customer services and they are very prompt and professional. I would love to come back for all future repairs and I would recommend them to everyone.

I was greeted promptly by Carlos Adame. I explained the issues with my car and he accurately entered the information into the service work order. After he investigated all the work I needed, Carlos gave me an estimated cost and also gave me an estimated time for the car to be ready for pickup. The courtesy van service was excellent both to home and also pickup at my home when the car was ready. The Toyota personnel were very helpful and friendly.

I bought a used car from Toyota Place. The car didn't come with basic equipment ( jack, lock nut wrench...). I did ask for the equipment when i dealing with the price the answer is OK. After the sale contract is signed. Now the answer is the car don't com with the equipment . I did checked with Mini dealer TWICE the car do come with the equipment as standard equipment even the car with run-flat tire. I got the run around answered especialy from Bill Parker (used car manager) and from another employee. I thought Toyota try to fix their image I thought I'm dealing with professional dealer but I was wrong, remind me of buying car back of 80's. Especialy Bill Parker he have no class at all. Garry exceeded all superlatives with his service - I came in on Friday, very nervous and upset because my 2000 Honda Odyssey was on its last legs and just about made it to the showroom. After inquiring as to my requirements for a new car, he brought me the perfect model to view and drive - it fulfilled all my expectations...Because it was doubtful I would make it home to Sanibel in my old van, he insisted I take this car as a loaner to keep overnite and test its enjoyability, even though I was not yet ready to "sign on the dotted line". Upon my return on Saturday afternoon, he took care of signing me up for a 2 year lease at a price I could afford, and I am a very happy leaser of a 2012 Toyota Camry! Wow!! What a waste of time this place is. I do all my shopping on-line and this was no different. I sent a request for a Tundra Platinum and Jennie Lu replied with a quote. Quote was good and acceptable to us. She asked about trade and I told her what we had and she then came back with an offer, which was also acceptable. Long story short, she had her "co-worker" Thai Nguyen call me because she was going to be off the next day and that was the only day we were available this week. I told Thai we had the prices down and all we needed was a payment amount and we'd committ. He told us he couldn't quote me a payment over the phone due to "The Patriot act". I thought that was odd, but ok, so we made the appt. Once there, Thai turned us over to "Jersey" because he was busy, thought "uh oh, here we go". I was right. What a debacle it turned out to be. They ended up coming back saying that the trade-in had paint damage and a whole laundry list of stuff that 3 other dealer just "missed"? So their offer was $7k less and all of a sudden, they needed $5k to make the deal. Mind you, credit is perfect, truck was located at another dealer so no issues there. Jersey then spouted all of this stuff that made no sense. I was ticked as I am the original owner of the car, it has never been in an accident (he said the paint had been blended) and there was no issues other than them being complete jerks. After Jennie and I had made the arrangements, someone else steps in and comes up with complete non-sense. This truck purchase isn't out of necessity, it's out of want and by no means did we have to buy a new truck. If they would've just came back and said from the beginning that the bank couldn't finance it because we are too far upside down in out trade, fine, but Jennie KNEW what we owed going in, so why not just tell us before we came in we'd either need a large down payment or it just couldn't be done, we'd be fine. But then to get this "Jersey" character involved who rambled some stuff that surely was "car lingo" totally pissed my girlfriend and I off. We are straight shooters and certainly don't like to have out time wasted. Either you can do the deal or you can't, pretty simple stuff. It's called don't be a sheister. With a 730+ FICO, it's no problem getting financed elsewhere. We won't be going back nor do I recommend you go there. I believe they are your typical "care sales people" and try to take advantage of people, both of us are in the finance business so they tried to scam the wrong people. I've dealt with financing cars in my profession in the past and there is no doubt they are scammers. Save your money and a big headache go somewhere else.

I've been shopping for a 2011 RAV4 with third row seating for the last few days without much luck. At one dealership, the salesman tried to push me to get a Highlander...which is WAY OUT OF MY BUDGET! At another dealer they had one available but I was not a fan of the color. That salesman there tried to give me the scare tactic by stating that if I didn't buy it now... I would regret it because it's hard to find one around. Sure enough, most of the dealerships in Orange County did not carry the particular RAV4 that I had wanted. I figured instead of driving all around Southern California looking for this car, I decided to just give a handful of dealerships a call first. At 8am I called five dealerships which were not even opened yet. However, I completely understood that since it was a Sunday. Well my 6th phone call was to Toyota Place of Garden Grove. By the second ring, Michael Castillo cheerfully answered the phone. I told him exactly what I was I looking for and he assured me that he would call me back within 15 minutes. To my surprise, he called me back in 10 minutes with the good news! Michael had actually went out to the lot to check if there was a RAV4 available and sure enough one had just arrived. I immediately packed up my family and we headed out to Toyota Place. Long story short, Michael Castillo was absolutely friendly and professional. He took us to view the car and do a test drive. During the whole time, he was extremely patient while I checked every little detail of the RAV4. Not once did I feel rushed or pushed to look at other vehicles. Keep in mind, we were standing outside in over 90 degree weather and he just kept answering questions after questions. It's refreshing to have a Salesperson so knowledgeable about the vehicle and what the options were. What stood out the most was that he made my family and I feel at ease. Meaning, we didn't feel pressured at all and not once was he scoping for any personal information about us. He didn't ask what I did for a living...my ethnicity or how I plan to pay for the vehicle. In my opinion, that was very respectful. When we came in for negotiations regarding pricing, we were helped by Mr. Armando Diaz. Once again, excellent customer service. He worked on getting us a good deal which I truly appreciated. Same thing, not once was Mr. Diaz ever pushy toward us. At the end, we drove home with a brand new 2011 RAV4. Toyota Place truly has excellent customer service, beautiful facility with a kids area and overall just a stress free buying experience. I have purchased my cars in the past at South Coast Toyota and Tustin Toyota but I have never wrote any positive comments about those dealerships. I definitely recommend Toyota Place to anyone looking to purchase a car.

i bought a car from this dealer and they over charge me 1000 dolars for an alarm, i ask them what was that charge for and they told me that was allready in the price but when i check the contract was an extra i told them to take it off and that i want my money back but they didnt. they send me to kevin finance manager who sold me the alarm whit lies and all that he says is that the deal was made and can not do anything then he send me to ariel finance director who also lied to me and he also say that he can not do anything and he send me to sales manager luis i dont have his last name but he is a real bad person he does not treat the people with respect .all i can say is that stay alert on the contract because they try to get you in any way, and i hope they all have a brutal dead

I went to this dealer twice, I didn't learn a lesson 1st time. Do you know their moto? "We say yes"; well, not really. They never accept any deal, MSRP is what you'll get. Unless you look like you can afford their price, they treat you like a fool. When I made an offer, the saleman went away for several minutes. Then he came back with a so-called managers-yes, apparently they have 5 managers(I called and went there twice, and everytime a different manager). Then they both lelt with some reasons (to get more info or check on price...) then came back saying no. they just wasting time; and everytime there's a different price with each personel (plus or minus couple hundred bucks). When I told them better deal from different dealer, they started bragging how those salemen lie. If you have money to spend, this is your place. I'm not, I went to a further dealer and save $3000 on a new camry 2011.

6-10-11 I saw a 2007 FJ Cruiser TRD Special Edition for sale. Thai brought it over to my office for me to test drive. I was working in Huntington Beach and he actually drove the car over for me to check out. I purchased it from him. He came back later that day with the paperwork. I signed it at my office and had a bluetooh installed. The car was then delivered to my house in Burbank. Although it arrived with an empty fuel tank, it was clean and everything looked nice. Later that day, I noticed that one of the tires seemed a little thin. I waited for Monday and called Thai to see if he would split the tire cost with me. He referred me to his manager, who never called me back. I left a message for Jennifer Boza, the customer rep. She called me back a day later and asked me to come to the dealership with the vehicle. I drove over there on Thrusday the 16th and spoke t oSam Chaalan who is the General Manager. I explaiend him hte situation and he had one of his guys geta tire tread gauge and we went to measure the tread depth of the tires. Sure enough I was correct and the tire in question was below the 4/32 tread that is legally allowed to be sold. I offered to split the cost of the tire with him, but he agreeed to pay the total cost of the tire. So on the 18th my truck goes into the tire guy to get 2 new tires and an alighnment and a break check. He says all I need to do is send him hte receipt and he will send me a check for $250.00 to cover it. We will see, but so far I am very happy with the way they took care of the issue and am confident that they will keep thier word. I would definetly buy another vehicle from them. In fact anywhere in San Diego sucks if you are looking to make a deal on a Certified PreOwned vehicle. Go to Toyota Place in Garden Grove!!! Where as the dealers in San diego don't care if they get you're business, these guys do. Not your typical "sleazy car salesman" come on. They are professional and friendly, they want your business, was totally worth the 87 miles that we had to drive to get there. I will never go anywhere else again, if you are a fan of local San Diego Toyota Dealers then you won't believe the treatment that you get at Toyota Place Garden Grove, its the difference between Motel 6 and The Plaza Hotel! I recommend this place to anyone who wants to get a great deal and great service. I dealt with Chris Olsen and Mike Castillo, and they were extremely professional, never talking down to me or my husband, unlike the San Diego Dealerships, they were interested in making us happy, without robbing us blind, overall I saved close to 4000. for an hour and 15 min. drive. Wrong part installed, scratch wasn't fixed as promised, and interior was not cleaned as promised on first visit. Returned second time; correct part installed after arguing with parts department on regards of availability of part for my car, scratch touched up but overspray all over the inside on b-pillar did not realize until I got home because my wife picked up the car when I was at work. Don't have time to return for a third try. I bought interior cleaner and cleaned up the interior myself. Received three quotes for truck bed cover after was told they will not order me the factory one because not in their best interest. The three quotes received increased in price with each quote for the same cover (aftermarket which they carry). The third one was an insult. After they found out I was going to use a 20% off coupon (which they sent me for purchasing a car from them) they increased the price even more stating, and I quote "We can't sell it to you for that price because we will only make a profit of $5" so they raised to price to include a profit of $150.Wasn't going to write this but I emailed the GM (General Manager) with my concerns and a week have gone by and I have yet to hear anything. Not even a simple "sorry."Just wanted everyone to know what I went through. Check around before calling them for prices and if you have a coupon don't let them know until you pay otherwise you may receive the "VIP" treatment I got.If you bring your vehicle in for service make sure you pick it up in the daytime and look over your vehicle very carefully after repairs are done.

I expected to be notified when the service on my car was done but I was not. My 9 month old son and I waited for 2 hrs before realized the car was already done and parked in the parking lot. I came and asked adviser who wrote the the paperwork for me, he said just go to cashier and sign some paper then you are done. Also, in the work order, it had Car Wash but the car was not washed and no explanation. I tried to look for the adviser to understand why, I could not find him. I bought my car there so I wanted to have maintenance service there. Otherwise, I went to the dealer close my home and maybe I was treated better. This is unacceptable service which dealership management should fix it.

I did have one minor problem with a sales person and I went to the sales manager, who handled the problem, I will not go anywhere else to buy a new or used vehicle. If you want a great deal on great cars, go to Toyota Place. They will take great care of you and when you leave you will be happy.p.s. The service department is the best. When I go in for oil change, or anything else they get right on it and they give me the time it will be ready, and it is. There were several reps sitting in an office talking who I interrupted. When I went out to the car I noticed that the inside carpet was not clean as was stated in the floor mat recall letter would be done. Jennie Lu was by far the most helpful sales person I've ever come acrossed with. She truly cares what is best for you as a customer, instead of pursuading you to buy something for her own advantage. Her boss, which I believe is Hector, was also awesome. They both absolutely know the meaning of CUSTOMER SERVICE.However, it is a shame that I had to come in contact with Lance. He is absolutely unprofessional and fake. For some reason, he started talking to me about the deal that I was trying to make and came up with a totally different payment plan then I was first told by both Jennie & Hector. When I stated that what they were doing was misleading, he replied, "No, its not. That's reality. Those numbers they gave you, are just numbers. What I'm telling you is the "deal". Everything he stated was with an attitude. Thank goodness Hector came back and reassured me that I was only to discuss the deal with him and not Lance. Otherwise, I would have walked out and Toyota Place would have lost a sale and a customer for life.Do yourself a favor and avoid him at all costs. Otherwise, you will leave Toyota Place with an overall bad impression. I bought a new Camry. I love driving the car. I liked my salesperson. Car supply was low due to the clunkers sell-a-thon, they said. But I was able to find a car I love and they have more cars coming in everyday.

The salespeople here are very rude, if you can even find one to help you. They all generally discriminate everyone that comes in to look at cars unless you appear to be very wealthy. Don't expect on getting a car for less than MSRP here. They are will not deal prices nor are willing to match with other dealership prices and will simply tell to go there instead. Everyone I've encountered at this dealership seem very arrogant to the extent where it seems like they can get by without your business. You're better off going to another Toyota dealership to look for your perfect car. I went to one a little farther away and saved $8000 for the same car they offered me.

Called ahead time to see if they had a manual Yaris on the lot to test drive. I was told "yes" and scheduled an appointment. I arrived at the lot only to find out they really didn't have it. I realize that cars can potentially sell within the hour before you arrive at the lot. However, it doesn't give me much confidence in a dealership when inventory is not updated for nearly 2 days. Then the sales rep continued to give me some bogus excuse, saying that they don't carry manual transmission cars, especially for the Yaris, because of "safety concerns"??? They don't want to attract the "wrong crowd" and have them poorly test drive their cars. Was this supposed to impress me? If you only cater to a certain group that drive AT cars, you are clearly dismissing people, like myself, who are respectable individuals with well-paying and stable jobs, who happen to like sticks. And not only that, you just contradicted yourself saying you don't carry manual cars when your inventory "clearly" showed that you did and you sell them!! And then, the sales rep continues this even further by asking me why I like to drive manuals instead of automatics? There really aren't any benefits over automatics anymore. Why even ask this? It's a personal preference. Perhaps this should have been the time for me to walk out, because they really didn't have what I wanted to look at. But for some crazy reason, I felt like I had to justify my time driving down there to test drive "something". So I calmly answered his lame questions and said I would be interested in the MT Corolla. Well, that also fell short, since the one car they had was in the showroom and the manager was not willing to let the sales rep move the car unless I wanted to "buy"... And so I left... wasting a good portion of my day and gas just to be there. I realize most dealerships are only concerned about the bottom line. But this is the first where I had called ahead to confirm but was given misinformation due to "outdated" inventory. Although the sales rep was friendly enough, he said some things which would easily offend any MT driver. I know it's not the manufacturer's fault, but if it's going to be this difficult to test drive a Toyota, I'll be looking at Honda or BMW, where my MT preference was not scrutized at all when I visited their dealerships.

I came to TofGG on friday after thanks giving. My family and I showed up there around 10AM. We were the first customer visit there. As I approach the door. Some sale guy saying out loud "let start the day". I met Phuong Tran who a Camry and Highlander. We're undecided what to get and also his quote was way higher than any dealer around. I politely ask for his business card and the guy didn't even bother to give us a the business car. He said just come back as for him. Three hour later. We came back there and ask for Phuong Tran. We wait for 10 minutes. The receiptionist nicely tell me go to the internet fleet department. I meet Frank, an internet fleet manager, who I introduce myself and detail information of the vehicle that I want. He gave me a quote $400 higher than previous dealer I went to. I negotiate for better deal and the guy didn't even care what I present. He walk out the room leaving me and his assistance there. Momment later he came back asking me where I got the quote. I told him the Longo Toyota in El Monte. He start bagging how the other dealer ship treat customer and cheat on them. At that moment, I cut him and ask if he willing to give the deal or not. But no, he discount $100 (what a joke). I would not recomment any to this dealer. They don't have much inventory. I went to Longo and got my car.
