Dependable, Pleasant and Worthwhile
Toyota of Richardson Service Center provides excellent service for my Toyota. The process is streamlined and smooth. Wait time to be greeted is fast and the adviser is friendly, knowledgeable and tunes in to what you want done that visit and the other options you would want to know. The work is done in a reasonable time. This last visit the adviser noticed something to be done that was on warranty -- not major but I wouldn't have noticed -- and the advisor proactively had it done. Typical. They know what they are doing and do it well. I get good answers to my questions and any concerns. There is teamwork, harmony and focus among the departments. The building is clean, neat and designed for a pleasant wait unless you ask for the courtesy shuttle. Most importantly, the work is dependable and they have always earned my trust and loyalty. This service center adds to the value of owning a Toyota.

He's very accessible and does a great job explaining the services that are needed to keep my vehicle running to it's maximum performance. When things have gone wrong, which they have. Lee was of great help in handling the scheduled service, the zaktek and couple little parts that needed taken care of on my vehicle. My toyota looks great and I will continue to use TOR. This makes the 7th vehicle my family has purchased at Toyota of Richardson and all service is done with them.
They have competitive pricing but their customer service isn't the best.. cheaper price for newer models.. just be patient for the price of getting a cheaper car

First class service if you are looking into buying a new vehicle. Look for Babafemi Osibamowo in the new car sales. They are very accommodating and do not play the dirty sales tactics like most car dealers, where the junior sales person will have to go back and forth with the top guy who usually sits at an elevated counter to negotiate the price. At this dealership, if you think this is the price and budget you are comfortable with, the Sales Manager, Steven Malcolm will basically come by and let you know if the price is acceptable. If so and you agree, you close the deal on the spot.We have been to three car dealerships in the vicinity of Dallas and Toyota of Richardson is the BEST!

Easy, stress-free buying experience
I've purcahsed 4 Toyotas for our company in the last 4 years, each from a different DFW area Toyota dealership. This was my first experience with Toyota of Richardson, but will not be my last. Also my first CPO purchase and I would recommend Robert to anyone looking for a used vehicle. I wasn't "oversold" on anything or ever felt pressured into buying. They worked around my needs/wants, including financial situation, and delivered. I dislike buying cars, which is why I will only go to Toyota of Richardson in the future.

I just bought a rav4 today at toyota of richarson and really had an amazing experience there! Our sales guy Syed and finance guy Chase could not have been better! Both amazing at their jobs and pleasing the customer. They did everything they could to make sure they made us happy and did. I left with my new rav4!My husband is very impatient when it comes to shopping for a new car and has a bit of a chip on his shoulder but our sales guy was amazing and patient and worked the numbers that we were happy with.

Walked in knowing the car i wanted. Salesman did everything he could to help me get my blue crush corolla,he was polite through the whole deal. I have always taken my vehicle for service to Toyota of Richardson, whether it's just for oil a nd filter change, but in every occasion, my Technical Advisor, knows to check every time to make sure it's not low. My experience with their service has been excellent. The service staff is very professional, courteous and very customer service oriented.

Everything was great, except my first meeting/experience wasn't too welcomy but I found Mario Morante (used salesman) and he was really friendly and made me feel really welcomed when I first stepped into the dealer. He was great and experience was awesome. The business and the financing part was really nice too. They did everything they could so I can take and pay the car. It took long but it payed off!

Easy to do business with. I didn't get the run around with needing to get sales manager to approve, just to go back and forth to get a deal done. Got the bottom price, agreed on the deal and hour later left with my new truck and left my trade-in behind.

Gary did an outstanding job of helping me find the perfect car that suited me, my price, and he made sure that I got the best bang for my buck! Often times, car salesman are there to make the money possible. Gary on the other hand, works with you to try to save as much money as possible while maintaining what's best for both the customer and the organization he works. He truly is one of your best car salesman and I will highly recommend him to anyone I know interested in buying a car! Chase Vaughn was the Finance Manager I worked with to wrap up the deal and be on my way. He did a fantastic job of streamlining the finance process and making sure that we were on our way. Normally when you go to the finance department the expectation is that it's a long process, but Chase was great at making things quick, but still doing his job of explaining what each piece of paperwork entailed and he also helped us with getting a warranty. I highly recommend Chase for when a customer is going through the finance process! In conclusion, I just want to say that these gentlemen were incredible. They are subject experts in what they do and they put the customer first. As a customer, I encourage Toyota of Richardson to nominate these gentlemen with Employees of the Month awards as they should be recognized. Way to go Totota of Richardson!

Very accommodating and great experience
Had a great experience with Ben Boyd and Bruce. After two visits, one to scout out a car and then one to test drive, we were extremely pleased with the attentiveness and accommodating experience. They worked with us on pricing and walked us through many options both with choosing our car and the financing options. The team was very patient with two test drives and two little kids after a day of work and school. Even provided some balloons to keep the kids entertained.
It is my second time buying the cars from Toyota of Richardson. Rahman is awesome guy. He helps me out a lot. And of course, the financial guy, Ben Boyd, he is a nice guy with awesome hair!

Good sales experience. No pressure, they let the car sell itself (what a concept!!!). Price was fair and everything went smoothly from start to finish. They did what they said, when they said they would and we were in and out with our new car in about 1 1/2 hours. Salesman was very knowledgeable about the car and its features and gave us a good tutorial before we drove it home. Also, we forgot to remove some items from the trade in vehicle. As soon as Jonathan found those, he secured them and notified us that he would have them. Honesty is obviously an important part of their program----very refreshing, these days..... Overall, if anyone is looking for a great car at a fair price that they want to buy on their terms, not the dealerships, Toyota of Richardson is the place to go-----and don't forget to ask for Jonathan or Rahman.

Great Multi-State Experience
We had searched for over two weeks for the perfect Tundra at the price we were willing to pay. I rarely use an auto service facility. My experience in auto service over the years has been useful, because if you want a job done right...do it yourself. I had the rare occasion to have the timing belt/water pump service performed by Toyota of Richardson. While it was apart, I needed new oil seals. Was called promptly. All work was completed, car washed, fluids topped off, and a smile by 3 PM. They called to thank me for my business. They treated me like family.

Well worth the time and money
I had a pre-purchase inspection conducted on a used vehicle I was purchasing from another dealer. I was met by Easy, who explained, in detail, what would be inspected and the pricing. I agreed to the inspection. I went to work and left the car with him. He later called me and explained what the inspection had found. I took the inspection report to the other dealer and asked him to perform the repairs before I purchased the vehicle. He agreed. The inspection saved me about $1300 in repairs. Well worth the time and money.

I was interested in getting information about a new Toyota. in my initial interview with a sales representative I did not make myself clear as to what I was interested in. I mentioned this to management in a follow up conversation and could not be more satisfied with the results. I would and have recommended this dealership to friends and family. My husband and I bought a truck from Toyota of Richardson back in October. It was an all-around incredible experience, from the sales staff to the finance department. The only thing the truck didn't have that we really wanted was a back-up camera, but we were told by our sales guy that they could easily have one installed and we would be able to roll the charge for it into the financing. We didn't want to agree to the purchase and sign the papers unless we were 100% sure that the camera was going to have the functionality and quality that we were expecting. After being assured and promised multiple times by our sales guy, we signed the papers and scheduled the install a little while after. To make a long story short, the camera didn't even remotely have the quality and functionality that we were promised. (Toyota was not responsible for the install - a 3rd party company was.) On top of camera not being as-expected, the sales guy that we had dealt with was no longer working for Toyota. We were incredibly disappointed and frustrated and felt like it was ruining the great experience we'd had with them. That was until we met Brian Pacheco. He listened to us voice our frustrations and that same day, he made it right. He was able to get us a full refund for the camera and have it uninstalled while we were out of town for the weekend. He was so kind and understanding through the whole thing, and what meant the most to me was that it shouldn't have been his responsibility to "clean up" someone else's mess, but he did. Some sales guys kinda stop caring once they make the sale, but that's clearly not the case with Brian. We are so grateful that he listened to us and made the situation right, and we're back to being able say it was an all-around wonderful experience with Toyota of Richardson from start to finish! :)
This was the easiest deal I have ever made. They gave me a good price from the start and didn't hearse me every day to come back in. Omar Sherbi was very knowledgeable and upfront. His manager Jeff Sholnick was great to work with also. I'm still kind of shocked how easy the process was. Five stars all the way.

My throat was sore, and I began to cough while explaining why I was there. The service advisor ran and got me a bottle of water in about 15 seconds, and made certain I was ok before we continued. Genuine concern. Love these guys! And they always wash your car!

Edward was my POC when visiting, I was needing my tires rotated and oil change so I just drove up, he let me know how long the wait would be and I was a little pressed for time so I wasn't able to stay but he did let me know that I could make an appointment so that way I don't have to wait so long lets just say they had me in and out in about an 1hr10min I like that kind of speedy service!! Great job on letting me know what to expect when I come in next that way I can plan accordingly. Very nice and upbeat I like that!!
I'll go back there for service
I have been having my 2015 Toyota RAV4 LE serviced there a few times. Always very helpful, polite, and professional. They make you feel like your issues are also theirs. Special thanks to Alan Bostley, service manager. I had a particularly difficult-to-find soft chassis noise issue that was diagnosed correctly and remedied by a technician there named Don. Ask Alan if this guy is available when you have a difficult problem.

Have purchased vehicles at other dealerships and had them serviced at same. Toyota of Richardson is, by far, the best. When looking for a car, Terry found exactly what we wanted, the entire sales process was effortless, completed all of the paperwork in less than an hour. All of our Toyotas are serviced at Toyota of Richardson. The shuttle service is a great convenience, we make our appointments on-line or by phone, have no trouble getting in when we want and the service is always done right the first time. Our service advisor, Alan keeps us informed of everything we need to keep our vehicles in top shape, gets us in and out quickly on our visits and I would recommend him to anyone looking for the best service advisor.

The manager of the used car that I do not know the name was also very rude and unhelpful when it comes to returning my deposit that I was entitled. This vehicle is beautiful. The salesperson Aaron Grimshaw and the general manager Steve Grogan was more than cooperative in coming to a price that my wife & I could be very happy with. The finance person Mr. Reyes was perfect! He really new is stuff. I loved the platinum protection plan we purchased which included maintenance for 5 years. The vehicle is beautiful. Fully loaded Prius V with Moon roof. Digital speedometer, XM radio and navigation. We could not be any happier than we are with everyone we came into contact with.

Avoid this dealership at all costs!
Avoid this dealership if you're buying a used vehicle. There are plenty of other reputable Toyota dealers that aren't crooks like these guys.. Not to mention manipulative! I went in to look at a used Prius with a pre-approval from my credit union. Test drove the car around the block and I was clear to the sales guy that I already had financing lined up and I wasn't interested in applying for credit. Sat down with the salesperson after the test drive and he hands me the deal sheet. On it I see the advertised price PLUS an additional $695 labeled "Toyota Loyalty Charge" which the salesperson goes on to tell me is required. What?? So, I ask him what all is included in this "Toyota Loyalty Charge" and he explains that it's what the dealership charges customers to get their cars into showroom ready condition. This particular Prius was missing the privacy shade and the 2nd key. So, I'm thinking great.. they got me to come in and then they're going to slip this loyalty charge to negate any offer that is lower than the advertised price. But why is this Prius missing the shade and 2nd key if I'm being charged $695? So we negotiate on a price that basically knocked off the "Toyota Loyalty Charge" plus a few hundred dollars. I wasn't too happy about the price but the Prius was great and the sales guy said he would pull a privacy shade from another Prius to give to me and that he would look into seeing about getting a 2nd key. But all the while the sales guy is moaning about how he's not making any money on this deal and that $50 was going to be his commission AND he's telling me he's trying to move fast because he's got to find his next sale due to his small commission from my deal. At this point I'm a little irritated. I ask him to check on getting a second key and he basically tells me to go and buy one off eBay and bring it back to him cause he can program it for free because the 2nd key was going to come out of his commission and now he's losing money. I didn't like that answer. He finally gets up to ask his manager about making a 2nd key but as he's leaving he slides an application in front of me and asks me to fill it out. As I'm filling out the name, I realize it's a credit application. Now I'm upset.I confront him about the credit app and he begins to explain that even though I may have a great rate with my credit union, I would be better off going with Toyota Financial. xxx. I told him I was very clear about having financing lined up and that I was not interested dinging my credit. How incredibly manipulative! I grabbed my license and insurance and told him this place is a joke and walked out. Toyota of Richardson is the reason why used car salespeople get a bad image.
Toyota of Richardson's Service and Body shop have been performing excellent work on my vehicles for 30 plus years. I've owned 4 Toyota's & I've been to many other shops (because I travel for my work) but I don't ever worry about any repairs when I leave my vehicles with Toyota of Richardson. If they are unable to finish it while I am there, I am furnished a ride to work and a call when the service is complete. If I need, they will even pick me up and take me to my car. ONE YEAR later and still no information on repairs
I started a Toyota recall inspection for a design flaw on an engine for my RAV4 over a year ago. The engine was tested for excessive oil consumption and was classified to be in the group to have the engine block replaced under Toyota's recall directive.Today, one year later, I am still waiting to be informed the replacement block has arrived. I have called and emailed the dealerships numerous times. I also called Toyota Corporation for information and assistance. They each denied any accountability and point the finger at each other. After over six months of their complete denial, I got so frustrated I quit calling them.Last week I received an email from Toyota of Richardson to bring in my RAV4 for regular scheduled maintenance. That prompted me to make another call to the dealership. And guess what ALL the managers were out at a Toyota Conference and would not return to the dealership until the following Monday.In the process of being bounced around on the phone only to find out no manager was available to help me, I spoke to few employees in the service department. The bottom line is, I was told the replacement block from my RAV4 should have taken no more than TWO WEEKS to arrive after an order was placed. But here I am waiting over 52 weeks and still no one has a clue when my replacement block will available.I have owned a Toyota for every year since 1980. Unfortunately Toyota and their dealerships have a continued record of declining reliability in that time period. Their once impeccable reputation now sports 18 recalls on my model year RAV4 alone. Over that time they have turned me, a once loyal and outspoken supporter, into a disappointed and disdained consumer. This currant event is the final nail into my blind enthusiasm for Toyota products and their customer service!!!

Exceptional Customer Service
I had brought my vehicle in for a regular service and a "Zaktek" finish and my early experience was VERY frustrating and unsatisfactory. This was mainly due to one of the shops service managers at the time. I did however come in contact with Vance and James who happened to somehow find a way to make everything right and brought me exceptional customer service. They went over and above to make sure that I was satisfied with my service and my visit. Thank you for that. I will continue to bring my vehicle to this location seeing as how they always find a way to provide great service no matter the circumstance.
Stay away from this dealership
I brought used car from here, used car sales people are worst here and do not trust them. After negotiating the price, they made us to wait for hour or so to get with finance people. Same as usual they tried to sell extended warranty even after buying CPO vehicle here and at the time of selling extended warrant, finance guy Mr.Gomez said only cost $480 for extended warranty and never showed the breakdown of tax, registration charges, finance charges and how much we are borrowing from the lender even after asking many times, he just showing monthly loan payment but not showing actual amount of all costs involved, basically he was hiding breakdown total costs and how much I am borrowing from lender. After we came out with the purchased car, I saw he made us to borrow $16000 from lender instead $11000. It's total rip off. Don't trust Guy name Gomez and his director. Toyota of Richardson is a ripoff place stay away with them.

Worst Used Car Manager Ever!!!!!!!!!
They need to run those commercials on tv more cause they have worst used car manager and untrained sales staff. Service was ok kinda slow but decent waiting area. Unfortunately due to there sales team will not give service or sales anymore of my business.
I drove one hour to see a car on their website and on cars.com. When I arrived the sales guy told me it is sold and tried to convince me to buy a more expensive newer one. I left since it was over my budget. Two days later the first car still shows on their website and when I inquired by email they say it is still available. This is so frustrating!

I purchase my car on 12/12/2015 and i had a good experience in buying this car. Offcourse there were negotiation from the dealer and finally it all went well. I bought a 2014 Toyota RAV4 from Toyota of Richardson in November, 2014 and received wonderful service from our sales consultant as well as the sales manager. But I didn't feel the need to write a review at the time, and regrettably didn't remember my sales persons name. It wasn't until tonight that I felt I really should write a review for them. I wanted to sell my Toyota back to them as I replaced it with a different car I bought from a friend. So I called the dealership this morning and David, the used car manager answered and told me he would love to take a look at the car. When I came into the dealership, David set me up with Aaron Grimshaw who showed genuine sincerity, care ,and provided a level of service for which I am grateful. Long story short, TOR gave me pretty close to my payoff and I sold the car back to them within a year. The service I received from Aaron and David was exceptional. Just purchased a new RAV4 at Toyota of Richardson. My buying experience was the best I have had when purchasing a vehicle. I emailed an inquiry at 11 p.m. Thursday night asking for information on a RAV4. By 8 a.m. the next morning Travis Uriegas had already responded back with the information. I scheduled an appt. for test drive and he had everything ready for me on time. The financial department was great! Non-professional staff. impolit and rude. yesterday evening we were there to buy two car. a toyota crolla and a RAV4. after discussing abou the cars and of course negotiation on final price. they did not accept our offer. so we apologied and left. today we got phone call from them that they would give us the car with the price we have asked before. so, we decided to go there, but as soon as we got there, the manager told us" Sorry, the car is sold. and when I told him that how is possible you sell the car in a very short time and even if you already sold it, you should call us and let us know, so we would not waste our time. the manager told us: " you waste our time last night too"! .. WE didnot discuss any more, and say buy... just inform the manager that we will post an extensive review for them, so that other customer be aware about their un-professional customer service. the manager didn't care about review..... in short" never go there, they are rude and impolite!!!

Stay away! Dishonest service department is a scam.I took my 2015 SR5 Tundra 4x4 in for the 5,000 mile Toyota Care service which includes an oil and filter change. I had read on some of the Tundra forums stories of some unscrupulous dealerships were only changing the oil while claiming to change both the oil and the filter. (On the 4x4 Tundra, to access the oil filter canister, you need to remove the skid plate that is attached by 8 bolts. You need to remove the skid plate before you can replace the oil filter.)Knowing some dealerships were short changing their customers, I marked the bolts on my skid plate with "torque seal" a product used in the aviation industry that quickly lets mechanics know if a bolt had been removed or loosened.After I picked up my truck, I checked the skid plate and sure enough, it had NOT been removed. Remember, without removing the skid plate, it is IMPOSSIBLE to remove the oil filter. I double checked my invoice, and it showed an oil AND a filter change.If their service department is willing to cut corners and not remove 8 bolts to get to the oil filter, what else are they scamming their customers for?

5 stars babyy! This dealership operates exactly how a car dealership should. My experience went like this: I looked up Toyota dealerships on my maps, Toyota of Richardson was the highest rated so I clicked on it. I called in and was immediately impressed when my sales professional Aaron Tunnell answered the phone. He was just that, a professional. I explained my tough situation to him and he took every step possible to explain to me exactly what I needed to do. Because the reviews were great, and Aaron was great(not pushy whatsoever) I decided I wanted to set an appointment up to check out a car. I received a follow up call from Aaron's manager Dorell who was also very professional and curtious, and I came in on the weekend. Aaron brought me in, we made some small talk, got to know each other a bit and then got down to business. I told him exactly what I wanted and he showed me 2 vehicles. Both were what I wanted but one was just perfect so I decided I wanted to buy it. The negotiations weren't really negotiations. I looked the car up online and it matched the exact price Aaron presented to me. I understand businesses need to make there profit, and that their online price is going to drive customers in, because it's about as low a price as they can do! So what negotiations need to be made??? He got me into finance in a timely matter(with Danny Tabora who was also wonderful and informative), was very thankful for my business, and because Aaron was so professional, I expect him and I will be conducting plenty more business in the near future. People, I worked at a Honda dealership for a little less than a year. I understand the so called "tricks" and "scams" dealerships try to pull. You can trust me when I say there is none of that here, and they take their due diligence to make sure of that. I also understand the importance of getting genuine professionals out on the map. This is the first review I have EVER written on anybody and the reason is simple, this guy is changing the game. My husband and I purchased a used minivan recently at Toyota of Richardson. We lucked out that Michael Beeman just happened to take our appointment. Mr. Beeman was the best car salesman we've ever had the pleasure of working with. He listened to our needs, and didn't try to manipulate or push us into a car that didn't fit simply because it would've made a bigger profit. He was courteous, friendly, and very determined to help us find the right car- but without being pushy or pressuring us. We would definitely refer our friends and family to Michael and we would go back and request him also when the time comes. He truly advocated for us and made sure we were aware of everything that was going on, so that when we reached the finance department there were no surprises. My husband and I left feeling as if we had done business with an old friend rather than a complete stranger.

I had a fine experience purchasing a pre-owned Scion from Toyota of Richardson.After exchanging a couple e-mails with Cesar Sotelo, he connected me with Miguel Alvarez who did an awesome job on minimizing the pain of the buying process. Granted, I had done my homework with Consumer Reports, Edmunds, TRUECar, etc. so I came in prepared as we had already identified the vehicle we were interested in, pre-approved financing from USAA, our personal budget, insurance premiums, etc. But Miguel was very sensitive to our wants and needs. Even the obligatory visit to the Finance guy, Danny Tabora, went very smoothly as Danny was also friendly and personable, as well as sensitive to our time constraints. I hope that Yelp readers take the negative reviews of Toyota of Richardson with a grain (pound?) of salt, as I would highly recommend 1) doing your homework, and 2) and visiting Toyota of Richardson for your next car purchase. I hope to spend 4X more with them on a new vehicle in the very near future.

Well this is a follow up to a prior negative post I made on here re: the awful misuse of my credit information by Toyota of Richardson when financing a vehicle there. After this episode, I then discovered that the finance dept. had sold me a warranty for paint protection on my vehicle, that according to the administrator for the warranty my vehicle is NOT even eligible for! This is fraudulently selling products to people! I went back and let both the dealership customer care representation and the finance director know what I had learned, and was promised they would refund the extra $ 1,200 that they placed on my finance contract(thus lengthening my payments by an extra 6 mths.) It has now been 3 weeks and repeated phone calls and I still have no reimbursement check from Toyota of Richardson. To say I have a bad taste in my mouth about this dealership is an understatement. I would not recommend them; evidently they do not respect people's credit and will falsely add charges to your finance transactions with them.

Car buying experience
I was shopping for a used car and visited Toyota of Richardson, where I've been taking my Camry for service for a few years. I've always been happy with the service, so assumed the sales experience would equal or surpass the service. How wrong I was! A gentleman friend was with me and we walked around on the lot for quite awhile before a salesman finally came out. My friend and I were several cars away from each other and while the salesman gave me a wave, he walked straight to my gentleman friend and asked if he needed help. I told the salesman (who said he was the sales manager) I was the one looking for as car and rather than show me the cars on the lot, he had me go inside the dealership with him to answer "some questions". After answering his questions, he said he needed to talk to his manager. Hmmm! I thought he was the manager. When he walked away, I left. I wasn't interested in being lied to or played games with. I ended up buying a car at Toyota of Plano, and even though I've been having a good service experience at the Richardson location, I probably won't go back there for service either.
Service Department is the best!
We night drop my Toyota Camry & this always works like a charm. We get a call the following day from our very friendly and knowledgeable service advisor Lee. He is informative on what service needs to be performed and then the my car is ready for pick up that afternoon. It is so efficient and almost too easy. Ever staff member we encounter is so friendly and helpful. On another note the cost of ownership of my 2014 Camry has been next to nothing. In the year and a half I believe it has totaled around $50 to be exact and we bought the car at 0% interest! I love this dealership and my Toyota Camry and I recommend anyone in the market for a new or used car to visit Toyota of Richardson and you will not be disappointed. I could not be happier with the service and customer care they provide. I continue to be impressed with the hassle free and low cost of owning my Toyota Camry and could not imagine going anywhere else.

I was dreading going through the process of getting a new car, but Eduardo Varas made it an extremely easy and enjoyable experience. He is very knowledgeable, professional and honest. I was able to leave that day with a car that was within my budget. When it was time for me to have my extra key made, Eduardo had a rental car waiting for me when I stopped by on my way to work and while I was at work he had the extra key made, the inside of the car completely cleaned (through the air ducts and all) and the outside cleaned as well. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes! I have been extremely satisfied with my experience at Toyota of Richardson and the excellent service provided by Eduardo Varas. Early this past February (2-2-15) I came in whining/crying with a horrible situation because my 20-year old Dodge Caravan was dying on me. A close friend had a terrific buying experience with Randy Penn recently, so his name was prominent when I started searching for a replacement vehicle. He was right on point, knowledgeable, outgoing, and really grasped the extreme urgency of my transportation predicament. His attitude and demeanor made me immediately feel completely relaxed and comfortable - and that helped establish a buying confidence and trust. Good stuff. Randy listened to my needs, and formulated a preliminary financial package, and presented me with a super (gently-used) vehicle that was, in the vernacular, "to DIE for..." Wow. What a creampuff! A really extraordinary pre-owned Highlander. (My buds believe it's only 2-3 years old,... try 12!) Hah! And on the financing side, we hit a pothole so big, people were living in it! My title reflected a bogus lien, and worse, the transfer/sale was tied up with a former wife's name, and all the accompanying mini-legalities that kept this deal from being finalized. But Mo AbuSherbi jumped in and created options for me to pursue, which expedited clearing the title of hurdles, and helped to consummate the deal. Yea! The bottom line is simply this - Randy and Mo were terrific, but even better, they did business with me,... they didn't give me the business. Friendly service, great deal, haggling required
Walking into the Toyota of Richardson used cars section, the environment was clean and about as warm as is possible for a dealership. Each person I spoke with was very friendly, not pushy, and even went above and beyond to make sure I had my questions/concerns addressed. I had a specifically positive experience with three people (listed at the bottom). My wife has a 4 runner and has had good experience with servicing it here at Toyota. I was in the market for a Prius, and these guys brought the price to a workable number, beating out every other place talked to in town. They also threw in some extras, as well.I will note that I got to the place of a cutting edge price because I haggled. I know a lot of people don't like to do this, and they may still get a reasonable rate on a car without haggling. However, Toyota of Richardson is not like Carmax- that doesn't allow haggling (which I want, because I found Carmax to be consistently $1-2,000 higher on their cars). So yes, I went back to Toyota of Richardson a few different times, each time doing new research and asking new questions. I had to work at getting the price down a little lower and for some extra benefits. Each exchange was respectful, friendly, and I am certain I got the best deal I could anywhere in DFW.Plus! Richardson has 6.25% sales tax on a used car, much lower than other places in the metroplex. Trading in my old vehicle, I got a tax break. They will match any written offer on a trade-in. Adrian Gomez was the main sales associate I worked with. He is personable and genuine. If he didn't have an answer, he brought in his manager, Derrell Pinnock, who came over a few times when needed, but I always felt comfortable with both of them. Ben Boyd, as the finance manager, was on top of his game and took care of everything needed. Yes, Toyota of Richardson is more of the "classic dealership" in that it's very "sales-y", sometimes using the familiar marketing phrases many have grown to make fun of. The distinct difference I had with Toyota of Richardson, though, is that these folks were not pushy, listened well, were flexible when pushed, giving them a high rating in my mind. 4.3 / 5
Least Painful Car-Buying Experience of My Life
I am very satisfied with the customer service I received from Travis Uriegas. He spent hours--literally, hours--entertaining my questions and adjusting his offers to suit my needs. Buying a car is a painfully uncomfortable experience, and I definitely found myself at the receiving end of some manipulative sales tactics, but my experience at Toyota of Richardson was probably as good as it gets. I intend to go back there next time I have to buy a car, which, I hope, will be a long, long time from now.

All around, from the beginning, our sales rep (Anthony Sabu) was very honest & upfront about what we might qualify for & what we might NOT (based on OUR credit)... There was no "beating around the bush" or "leading us on" just to let us down in the end! I have yet to witness another sales rep capable of being that honest but yet SO GOOD at what he does! My fiance was actually looking for a specific vehicle & he got just what he wanted... & to boot I got what I WANTED as far as our monthly payments were concerned..!! I had an excellent experience with Toyota of Richardson. Anthony was very helpful and went above and beyond in terms of communication and coming through on his promise. Although the car took a little longer to get serviced and ready for delivery, Anthony was 100% professional and kept me posted with updates all along the way. The car needed a new windshield, new tires, and there was a recall that had to be done, but everything was taken care of professionally through the dealership. I never once had any doubt that my car would come in tip top shape, and when I finally saw the finished product I was blown away. I had purchased an 05 Acura TL for well under Blue Book price, and once the detail and service had been done, the car was in mint condition. Even further, I was under the impression I was receiving one set of keys, but Anthony went out of his way to pick up a spare set from the previous owner all the way in Fort Worth! Talk about commitment to service! If you are looking for a great car buying experience, definitely come by and talk to Anthony in used car sales at Toyota of Richardson!

AVOID!!! Sold me a car that had been in accident
Said they inspect each pre-owned car before it is offered for sale. Car I bought had a bumper that was pushed in.... they would not resolve.They also broke the passeenger mirror while the car was in their care. They would not take responsibility.Very unethical and slimy.DON'T TRUST THEM!!!!
A small note of appreciation
I recently moved to the Dallas area and was looking for a used car, specifically from a trusted vendor in my locality. I was very specific in the sense I did not want to go with mechanics/ independent sellers mainly for the trust factor. Then, I stumbled upon a used Honda Civic car at this dealership and jumped on to buy it instantly. I was at the dealership on a fine saturday morning and was in for a surprise when I saw that the car was not even cleaned/ serviced before it was put on sale online. I observed that the car had a cracked windshield running horizontally and one of the rear tires had a small cut and another small portion was chipped off. Sounds risky? Yes, it did for me too. But I was sure that it would not pass the state inspection check for safety and was also assured that this would not be given to with these issues. After the deal was struck, I was asked to collect the vehicle the following week and I land there on the specified time just to get a shock of my life - a cleaned car (interior and exterior) but with the cracked windshield and a damaged tire just the way it was when I saw it first! I spoke to the salesman who was interacting with me and I was told since the crack was not objecting the driver's view. I tell you it was running all along the windshield horizontally. And what about the damaged tire? Well, the answer I got was - it is not a serious concern. Really? I was seriously worried now and did not know what to do. Yes, I could have ditched the deal and went on a protest to get back the refund. But, for me I was in a state where in I did not want to start over the car search all over again and invest time. So, I thought of checking the same with the General Manager of the dealership - Steve via email and explained him the situation. I was extremely happy when he responded/ acted and assured me of getting these things rechecked and provide a resolution. With a couple of trips to the dealership, I could get the windshield and the tire replaced at no extra cost. Yes, you heard that right. I would specifically like to thank Derrell - the manager at the used car section for treating me without any fuss and get the problems resolved in a quick time. Would definitely recommend this to everyone because these blokes do believe in keeping their customers happy and do their best in the process. I recently moved to USA and I live in Dallas. So when I landed, I was in urgent need of a car. Most dealerships I visited were either unfriendly or did not take me for a serious buyer. But when I entered Toyota of Richardson, I met Favian, Sanchez and their Team leader- Sam Mau. They were really interested in the transaction, worked as a team to provide me with all the information, politely followed up on the appointments and got a good car and a good price deal with it. But something happened not long after I took the car -after paying for two instalments and a deposit. I urgently had to return home I went back to the dealership and Sam together with the finance team worked together to get me all possible options to surrender the car back in the least painful way. After I surrendered the car and wanted to call a cab to drop me home now that I had no car but Sam could hear non of it and offered to drop me home. in 2005 when I bought my first Scion, the "gentlemen" in the service department were helpful and honest with me. I learned to trust them, especially the manager James Hollaman. I bought my 2nd Scion because of the ToR service department. James and his team have always treated me like I belong. I recommend ToR to everyone and am so lucky to have them always take care of my Scion
Pre-owned car for my daughter
I contacted ToR by email and within a few minutes I had an appt to see a car they were featuring. I got to the dealership early and was greeted promptly and shown the car. Just as we were leaving, the sales person came in with another car that had just been traded. My daughter drove both cars and decided on the one just traded. Although the salesperson was not the one I contacted originally, they worked as a team. They were friendly and went overboard to accommodate us. THere was a scratch on the vehicle and they had it completely repaired for us within 2 days. Buying cars is not a pleasurable experience, but this dealership (the sales reps) made it really fun for me and for my daughter.
Toyota of Plano always treats me like a VIP! Always respectful and courteous... I appreciate that they have a shuttle available to take me back to work when I get my regular service taken care of... Jeremi and James always explain everything thoroughly, making sure I understand. I never feel "taken advantage of" when I come to Toyota of Richardson like I have at other dealerships. First class, all the way!

My many experiences with Toyota Richardson's Service Department is exceptional. They have always handled my services quickly and professionally. Very knowledgeable service advisors. I have never had to bring my cars / trucks back to them. Always fixed right the first time. I would recommend to everyone. Nothing Less Than Exceptional
My experience at Toyota of Richardson was nothing less than exceptional. I inquired online about pricing for a 2014 Toyota Camry and was given a breakdown of what the sale price entailed. I scheduled an appointment and was greeted by salesman Michael Beeman. As I test drove the vehicle I sat out to buy, I was treated like family. Michael was kind and trustworthy. I had my own financing prior to arrival and had read some bad reviews about dealerships trying to pull your credit without your permission and was all the more concerned when during this experience, I was asked to fill out the top of a credit inquiry authorization. However, Michael assured me my credit would not be pulled, and even initialed a statement on the contract stating he would not pull it. Of course I checked as soon as I left. No new inquiries! My experience was personalized and tailored to meet my needs. Not only did I receive a great deal on my Camry without all the hassle of a general car buying experience, but I also received wonderful service. Cant wait to buy my husband's car next year. We will definitely be paying Michael a visit at Toyota of Richardson.

Beware of the Finance Dept- too many hits on your credit rep
Ben in Finance led us to believe Toyota was financing our vehicle and my paperwork says this as well. Now almost 4 weeks later I'm still receiving notices from various banks and finance groups that he submitted our credit to and have learned that my vehicle is evidently not financed by Toyota Motor Credit at all. This many hits on our credit report is very damaging to our scores which were both well above 800. I do not understand this blatant disregard for our credit as we work very hard to ensure there are not blemishes on our report. If I had poor credit, it might have been okay as he could have been trying to get me a better interest rate, but this was absolutely not necessary with my score being as high as it was. I have dealt with several vehicle dealerships and other companies in the past to finance items and never had my information ran thru so many different banks! I feel that Toyota of Richardson owes us an apologize for the points that they have caused to be deducted on our credit report due to all the hits.I can't recommend this dealership to anyone due to the finance departments misleading information and failure to disclose exactly what their intended use of credit information is and how negatively this impacts people. Also our experience with followup after the purchase of a vehicle has been lackluster at best. I contacted them about picking up a can of touchup paint that they were to get for me and wanted to make sure it was available before I drove there (hour and a half drive time). I was told yes, come on up. Guess what I get there and am told they don't have the color I need in stock! I was upset about the waste of my time and gas. Now I have been waiting a week and still haven't heard from them about the availability of the touch up paint. Guess I'm be calling back.I would say pick another dealership if you need a vehicle because in my experience the negatives are rapidly outweighing the positives!!

I came into the dealership just to look at two used trucks that were on their website. I was looking at the trucks when Adam Flores came out to see if I needed any help. My wife and I sat down with him and he showed us some numbers. Adam and the entire sales team went above and beyond to get us the best deal possible. RED AND READY - EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE
I had a bad experience at another toyota dealership, so I was skeptical about going in to this one. Adam Flores wouldn't give up on me. He was persistent on earning my business so I went in to the Toyota of Richardson. On getting there, he was busy with another customer so I saw Megan Montgomery. My plan was to test drive a Toyota Camry, but I was told it did not pass the inspection test so I was introduced to what Megan called "Red and Ready". Megan was very pleasant, but we couldn't agree on pricing. Derrell Pinnock stepped in to try to help finalize the deal. Derrell was courteous, professional, and helped seal the deal. I was given a 6 month warranty on my car and they also spray painted the scrapes on my bumper. I wouldn't have purchased the 2003 Toyota Matrix aka Red n Ready if Derrell didn't step in. I spoke to James Brown at the finance department and he was awesome as well. He was cordial, funny, and helped work me through filling out the paperwork. Overall, I had a great experience at this dealership and would recommend them to anyone who needs a vehicle. You can tell that the staff here is not just about your money; they are keen on ensuring that you are satisfied with your purchase and also see to the fact that you get your money's worth.

The others did not go out of their way to help me. These guys were also friendly and honest. Salesman, Sales Manager, Finance guy all included. I recommend the dealership and will return myself.

Several weeks ago I made time to commence my search for a new car. A friend told me about Toyota of Richardson so we visited the dealership. I had the great fortune of meeting Ms. Sammy Malek who showed me several different vehicles. Respectfully, my first thought was how much would this lady know about automobile engines, performance, et al. You can't judge the book by its cover. She not only possessed tremendous depth of knowledge about each car but was in complete control of information as it relates to the Avalon Hybrid. What an extraordinary car!Equally as important, she never pressured me nor made me feel like I should be guided to her office to start negotiating. And, she displayed outstanding integrity- a rare trait during these times. I am continuing my due diligence but I am definitely leaning towards the Avalon Hybrid.
