Great experience as always. This was our second purchase with Toyota of dm and they went the extra mile to get me the truck, gave me a great trade in value during both of our transactions, and even though we had a minor mishap with the truck they kept me informed and put new tires on it for the inconvenience. I recommend them 100% and will be purchasing from them again when it's time to trade up.

The salesman, Faraz, was great and spent a lot of time with me. He was not pushy and answered all my questions. I have purchased 3 Toyotas in the past through another dealership. The salesman I had dealt with had moved on to something new.I just didn't click with a dealer there. Faraz went above and beyond. A+ Spencer S. was very helpful and went through all the things the car could do. He went over a few things I didn't get the first time.A+The guy Faraz had to check with was unfriendly and I thought rude. I would not have bought the car if I had to deal with him. I was not sure why.

My recent purchase at Toyota of Des Moines was fantastic! Let's face it buying a car flat out sucks! The level of stress it causes is crazy, most dealerships I have been to in the past don't seem to care about that. I decided to look on the Toyota of Des Moines web site to see what they had to offer and a chat window opened asking if I would like to talk to a salesman, here we go I thought. Well this is when my great service began all my questions were promptly answered, I was in shock! Every other dealer I had tried to talk to prior to going into the dealership would only say to me well you will just have to come in and we can discuss it. Fast forward to Friday evening I went to the dealership to test drive the car, it was all about how I felt and what I thought never was anything pushed down my throat this continued through the closing of the sale it was all so relaxed and no where near high pressure. Now I have a new Toyota Highlander that I love!

Overall, the buying experience with my salesperson and the dealership was what I expected. I am typically an informed buyer and do my homework on the Internet looking at the dealership's website first which is why I decided to even change vehicles. With the end of the year models being discounted by the manufacturer in addition to the dealership, I decide to consider trading. I dealt with my salesperson a few weeks earlier when my brother was in town looking for a used vehicle. My sales person dealt well with allowing time to make a decision between two different models and provided good input at the appropriate time. The only thing is that it seems to take a long time once a decision is made to buy and considering all the information that is seemingly being put into the computer, I thought the paperwork should be faster. However, that seems to be the norm except for one dealership I purchased from over the Internet before arriving. I have purchased other vehicles primarily online and would have done this, but I felt that day like going to the dealership since the car was for my spouse. I am typically not a big negotiator but won't shy away from it. I prefer to "get to the bottom line" quickly once I make a decision to buy. I felt the decision to accept an offer did take a little longer than necessary, but each sales manager has his own style. I also felt the estimate of my trade should have been done earlier in the buying process.

Even the women in the delivery bay, sorry I do not remember her name, took all the time needed to explain everything that I had a question about. We were in the Des Moines area looking at Subarus. Being not completely satisfied, we drove to the Toyota dealership just to see what was on the lot and in our price range. (HUGE selection!) We've owned several Toyotas in the past so were well aware of the reputation/reliability of the brand. We were walk-in customers and Todd greeted us right away and treated us like he had dealt with us before and was very knowledgeable and helpful in our search for the right vehicle. We settled on a 2017 RAV4. We had a Toyota Corolla XRS trade-in ready to discuss a deal. We got a great deal and thorough walk-through of the vehicle and its accessories (i.e. Bluetooth, etc.). The Customer Service is excellent! The ride home was smooth and comfortable. We got a call from the dealership the next day to ensure all was well with the vehicle and our purchasing experience. It seems that once you're a Toyota owner, always a Toyota owner.

We already had a Toyota to trade in so we new the quality of the product. Therefore the sales team and dealership was most prominent in the experience. We found the dealership and sales staff to all be top shelf. From walking in the door and greeting staff to Roland Pappoe,our salesman, the finance and delivery staff all to be professionally friendly and knowledgeable about the car and and any features questions we had. While they were there to sell cars, they were not pushy and aggressive. In particular Roland was adept at "reading" body language and stepped back or stepped up as appropriate. That is something that can be very irritating to "me" the buyer when sales staff are aggressive and "in your face". That ability is a true sign of a professional and is difficult to achieve.

Once, when the battery had died, I called Pete after hours. He arranged to have the car towed to the dealership and have it repaired. That simple act has probably made me a customer for life.

Last year we bought a used car w/Bob and everything went perfect. This year, we decided we wanted to upgrade to a bigger SUV. We had our eye on the Highlander and Bob was able to narrow it down to the model and exact color (interior and exterior) we wanted. My work schedule is crazy so I was there pretty late. The first night we test drove the car and decided it's the one we wanted so Bob even stayed late with us to finish all the paper work. The next day he was off, but even offered to come in on his day off the help me w/other paper work we needed to fill out. The next night, I wasn't in until 7:15 - but we were in and out with our brand new Highlander within 45 minutes! Yes, the overall process was spread across a matter of 3 days, but with my time being limited - they were very understanding. We are so happy with our purchase! Have had several issues including my vehicle being hit in the shop while in for service. I emailed, called and left messages for Travis (service manager) no response to any of my attempts to contact him. I typically request a tech that is meticulous in their work to avoid past issues. After being disenfranchised by other dealerships and past experiences it was a blessing to find such friendly and helpful staff. I came in not planning to buy a new vehicle, but after working with Derrick he was able to help me find the right fit for me that I didn't even know I was in my price range. Many salesmen I had previously dealt with are pushing to get you to leave with the first vehicle you look at, not so with Derrick and Toyota of Des Moines. It was the most pleasant time I have spent car shopping and after test driving several vehicles I was able to find the right one for me and have been extremely happy with my purchase. From the moment we were greeted we were treated as guests not victims of a car sale. Our greeter asked questions about our visit to properly assist us in our search for a car. He took us all over the lot because we had an extensive list. I had driven our current vehicle for twelve or so years. So even the used vehicles were extremely different with huge updates. Joshua our sales person was not pushy or insulting. We truly felt he was looking out for our best interest and giving us the best car possible for what we wanted to pay. After a brief period of questions regarding financing we were ready to be on our way to consider our choices. We were able to leave the dealership with his card in hand without an insistence that we be interviewed by a closer that had happened at another dealership the day before that totally turned us off. I wouldn't even have gone looking again and driven my vehicle till it fell apart before enduring the catastrophe from the day before. Upon my partners encouragement we traveled to the dealer and I found I was unable to leave without the used car I had test driven. Reviewing the cars again that RAV4 stood out. That was my first drive in a Toyota. It was a superior vehicle. Although it was a 2013 it looked and drove like a fresh out of the showroom car. It has heated leather seats, backup camera with blind spot mirrors, fold down rear seats, great sounding sound system that Bluetoothed to my phone for hands free driving. At the point I made the offer I didn't realize the push button lift gate option it had also. My seat could be conformed to perfectly make my drive effortless, and remembered me as driver 1. I wouldn't have changed anything about the car. You see I could buy this car with all the features I was looking for at a price I could afford and be happy with. All the safety checks had been made for me even new tires on the car. I would have had to forget the heated leather seats in buying new. This car was a true bargain.So yes I recommend this dealership. I am not afraid of being attached and held hostage. Best car buying experience ever. Go see Joshua Harris at Toyota of Des Moines.

I first talked to my sales rep a few months prior to purchase. I had a laundry list of questions that the internet did not have the answers I wanted. Dustin didn't have the answers off hand, but was able to secure the correct information within a few days. When I was finally ready to buy my vehicle, I shot an email of my exact desires and asked what would be my "out the door" price and the breakdown of the numbers. With complete transparency, they laid out everything for me. With a little negotiation, we were able to come up with a better price than what truecar was looking to give me. Having completed almost all the paperwork prior to going to the dealership, I was in and out in no time for the purchase. Then, I had a guy show me all the minute details of the technology of the truck. That part took way longer than the paperwork, but I know how to use it now. Probably the best part of it was having someone show me how to use it.

Rob Hutt is not your typical 'car salesman'. He quickly came with us for a relaxed test drive, calmed our warranty related worries, sped up our 'negotiations' with the finance manager (that was amazing!), got our papers faxed to the bank promptly and made himself easily available on the phone to deal with our needs. After the paperwork was finished with the sales manager the same evening, he personally saw to it that we drove off happily with our 'new' car even if he had a family function to attend in a short while.
