I spent probably a month looking online at every Toyota dealer in Texas and finally found the car I wanted for a fair price at Toyota of Dallas. Most dealers wanted you to come in and test drive their few and overpriced cars and when they failed to do a good job rather than apologize they just tried to get you to come back to give you a hard sell or try to get you to send them referrals- CRAZY!

Really appreciated the sales team and the way we were treated overall. I am a bit dismayed that I paid 17K for a used car and did not get an owners manual.......and only got one key. When I asked about a key, I was basically told tough - go buy one. I was very surprised.

One of the Worst dealership I have ever seen. The (used car team)manager is a awful . Does not have any selling/customer relationship skills, Does not give importance to customers. They reduce the prices and make up the heavy doc fee to get their profitability. A dealership which is ONLY money aimed. I would strongly not recommend this dealership.

Mechanics misdiagnosed issue resulting in unneeded repairs

Dealership mechanics misdiagnosed repairs needed resulting in $1500 additional cost and the problem reoccurring less than 3 months later.I had my 2005 MR2 towed to Toyota of Dallas dealership on 3/23/16 after the engine died in traffic and would not stay started. After the service technician diagnosed the issue that day, the service adviser called to inform me that the ECU needed to be replaced. He gave me an estimate of $1600 and said the part is back-ordered and would take 3 or 4 weeks to be delivered. I informed him of some repairs / maintenance that had been done within the previous 6 weeks: Oil change, replaced air filter, spark plugs, all coil plugs, top 2 oxygen sensors and cleaned Mass Airflow Sensor. I had a previous issue with misfires on two cylinders which was resolved by replacing the coil plugs. I asked him if there were any OBD codes and if they tried to reset the ECU. He said the technician did not see any new codes, only the misfires from the previous issue. He assured me the technician had checked out everything to determine it was the ECU. I bought my car in 2005 from this dealership and had service done there many times in the past. Until this visit, I had always received good service and never had any issues. I brought my car to the dealership since they have the latest diagnostic equipment and certified technicians. Since I was having another issue, I felt I needed that level of expertise in case it could be a more severe problem. Unfortunately what I experienced was more of a disservice. I expected a highly qualified technician to diagnose and repair my car but what I got was a novice who misdiagnosed the issue which ended up costing me over $1500 in unnecessary repairs. The ECU part surprisingly arrived after only a week. The technician installed it but that DID NOT FIX the problem. The service adviser called and said they replaced the part but that it now had a bad coil plug and gave me the price for a new one. It seemed odd to me that it "suddenly" had a bad coil especially since I was assured that the technician had thoroughly diagnosed the problem. Since I still had the original coils and 2 of them were known to be good, I brought them to the service department. The technician replaced the bad (new) coil plug and the car started running fine. I believe that this was the issue all along. When I arrived to pick up my car on 4/1, I waited approximately 40 minutes until they finally brought my car up to the front. There was no explanation why it took so long. On the way home I had to make a stop and the car barely started. I drove straight home and tried again to start the car and it would not start and the battery seemed completely dead. That must have been what took so long to get my car, they had to jump the battery. There was no mention of any battery issues while service had my car or when I picked it up. There were also no issues noted on my final invoice within the summary of work done. I talked to my service adviser about the issues and he offered to detail the car for free, which I declined. I never received any follow-up from the dealership after that. The car was running fine until 6/12/16 when I had the EXACT same issue with the car. After attaching an OBDII reader, I found it had a code for P0354 Ignition Coil D. I replaced the coil with the last good original coil that I had and the car started fine again. It appears the new set of coil plugs that I had installed were faulty since two had now failed. This confirmed my suspicion that the ECU was not the real issue and it shouldn't have been replaced. On 6/17/16 I sent a certified letter to the managing partner at Toyota of Dallas. After no response, I sent a certified letter to the Toyota Corporate Headquarters on 7/21/16. Toyota Motor connected me with the Service Manager for Toyota of Dallas on 8/25, he refused to address the issue saying that the car left his service with no error codes so it was fixed. He would not address the issue that when the ECU was replaced, it did not fix the problem. Not until they installed the coil plug would the car run normally. Toyota Motor referred the issue back to the local dealer and washed their hands of it. Toyota of Dallas made excuses about the age of my car and that they had not serviced it for several years. The bottom line is that they replaced an expensive part without proper diagnosis which did not fix the issue. Beware getting service done at this dealer due to their questionable business practices. After being a long time Toyota owner, I can no longer recommend buying a Toyota product or their "certified" services. I have also filed complaints with the BBB.

So, today I was accompanying my friend, Victor, here in the dealership. Frank Ivens, sales consultant, was the first to approach us in our quest for the perfect Tacoma for my friend. This gentleman, who's expertise and knowledge in both vehicle specifications, and financial services, properly and diligently provided both of us with the information needed to choose the best vehicle for him. During the test drive, Frank informed us on the different applications and driver friendly options provided on the vehicle. Frank met and exceeded both of our demands and answered all questions in the whole process. My friend Victor walked in with a slight idea of what he wanted, and drove out with all the needed information and resources to lawfully enjoy his new 2017 Toyota Tacoma! I hope you have the same experience as we did in the dealership. Frank Ivens really set the bar high in his customer service and satisfaction qualities alongside the different vehicle knowledge and deals available! Thank you Toyota of Dallas! God bless you all!

I saw the Toyota RAV4 I wanted on cars.com and called the Toyota of Dallas dealership to find out if it was available and whether it's in good condition. The rep there guaranteed me that it was available and in good condition before heading out. My husband and I drove 45 minutes to get there just to find out that this car had a huge dent at the trunk door and lots of hail damage throughout the exterior of this car. I tried to confront the manger there that they should have disclosed the fact that this car has a lot damage. It wasn't even disclosed in CarFax, not to mention they said that it was in "excellent" condition to this day on Cars.com. The manager was rude and obnoxious, talking so condescending to me. He didn't care that they wasted our time, telling us to come there to see a car that is badly damaged. The photos that are posted on this site regarding that car do not do justice to the amount of hail damaged that they are trying to hide. This dealership, with the type of leadership like that of the rude manager, do not care about customer service and have questionable honesty, and for this reason, I will never return to that dealership.

First I had a set appointment on 8/20 to see a specific car. I received confirmation from a sales associate that they were taking themselves off the service floor to meet with me. I get there and the sales associate is with another customer. Someone else helps me and says they may have sold the car. Someone else comes back and says the car is not sold but they sent it out for service work or detailing because it is not on the lot. I scheduled another appointment (after driving over 45 minutes to get there) while there and specified that they make sure the car is available at the specified time if it has not been sold (as I already had a written appointment to see a car they sent off the lot at my scheduled appointment time). I had to reschedule several times due to work; however, each time I called the phone, it would be picked up without greeting, when I spoke I would be put on hold without asking, and even after my appointment was rescheduled I would get calls asking if I was going to show up to previously scheduled appointments. (I gave plenty of advanced warning when I rescheduled, usually at least 24 hours). This is the absolute WORST customer service I have ever experienced in my life. They don't even have basic phone skills down (holds without asking, no introductions, hung up on, etc.) Now it appears that 1.5 weeks past my initial appointment the car has been sold and I doubt they will contact me to cancel the upcoming appointment I have despite my direct instructions to do so if the car was no longer available. This type of behavior does not inspire confidence and is not the sort of business that I would make ANY purchase from, let alone a large, several thousand dollar purchase. I have owned many Toyota's and have no problem with the brand itself, but would recommend buying form pretty much any other dealer.

We went in the dealership and paid cash for A new Toyota Tacoma and purchased upgrades. We were told the truck would be ready in two days. It took a week. The person at the dealership who attempted to explain the features upon delivery didn't even have a clear understanding of the features on the vehicle. We will never use this dealership again, and regret that we did this time.

I bought my 07 Camry from Toyota of Dallas 9 years ago, and went through recalls in 2010 at the same place. Sometimes I did my car maintenance there, they have always provided me with excellent services. Particularly early this month, I should say that Service Department Director Gary Loth, who is not only very professional but provided the service to my car beyond my expectations. I really appreciate his leadership and their thoughtful team work. Definitely, they are the first choice to get car service done in town.

I had a terrible experience with this dealer.The had entered incorrect trim information about the car on their website.Added certification fee on the price of the car out of nowhere.When I asked them, the agent ,one Ashiq Shaikh told me that every dealer adds that fee.I contacted a dealer in Plano,asked them if they had such a fee .They replied no and made an exit from this one.

I have been to this dealership for service three times over the past 18 months. Each time there has been "new" management. The current management says the prior management did not do their job properly and failed to keep notes regarding my car and apparently have not filed the proper paperwork with Toyota Corp. regarding warranty work. They do not call back timely as indicated. Work that was to have taken two hours has taken over 4 hours with no communication until I called. One manager stated that this dealership has had to pay back Toyota Corp for improper warranty work. Did not return calls timely,

My husband and I live near Denton and we drove all the way to Dallas of Toyota because I have always had great service in the Service Department for the past 2 1/2 years. We went there to window shop and to just see how much it would cost for a new Siena (not planning on buying one). We called and they had set up an appointment for us to talk to Frank Ivens. Upon our arrival, we were welcomed by Cory and then by "Mo" (Finance Manager). They sat us immediately while we waited for Mr. Ivens to come to the lobby. Mr. Ivens thank my husband for serving in the USMC in the first few minutes while asking our information. He is so respectful and so down to earth. After knowing what our budget was, he went and fought what we asked for. He was able to meet what we wanted to spend. He did go over a little bit though (by $11.00). Wow! How can we turn that down. Guess what! We ended up buying not only a 2016 Siena but also a 2016 Camry. Kudos to Mr. Frank Ivens!!! Thank you, Sir, and may God bless you.

Had an appointment set up for a mid afternoon test drive on Saturday. Emailed and talked to the internet sales manager, and we agreed on a time. The dealer even emailed me to tell me he would be taken off the sales floor at that time. When I arrived, he was with another customer. Would have been nice if he came out and at least apologized. Nope, no apology from anyone there for blatantly lying to me. I even sent an email to three different managers there with my grievances and no reply. Instead, they just had another sales person contact me like this stuff had never happened! Completely ignoring what I had issue with!To make matters worse, they didn't even have the car there that I came to look at. It showed up on their inventory but wasn't even on the lot. This dealer is the epitome of why people distrust car dealers and sales people. It looked and felt like the worst of the cattle call, high pressured type dealers.

I bought my Toyota Tundra from Toyota Dallas new. Have had issues with the Bluetooth from the start. Every time I have had scheduled maintenance done I complained about bluetooth.Had it there about 2 weeks ago AGAIN for Bluetooth. They did all the updates at that time and then told me if this did not work they would replace the Bluetooth. I called back Tues. made an appointment for noon today. When I arrived I was told I had no appointment. After 31/2 hours wait I was told AGAIN that they did all the updates. NO NEW BLUETOOTH

I bought a Camry from Toyota of Dallas I love the car it's a great car but it does not have the features on the car that the sticker on the window said it did and yes I bought it brand-new from Toyota of Dallas whenever address these issues I was lied to over and over again. I have tried to speak on several occasions to the general manager of Toyota of Dallas or the owner left messages requests and not one time has anything been returned to me their sales manager will lie to you and then add more interest to your right after you sign the papers and leave with the car. Miss Sarah Mann which is the customer service manager assured me that we would take care of the issues on my car and then sent me 3 gift cards for Target and told me that they had a certain amount of money on him to make up the difference my wife goes to Target and all of the gift cards have nothing on them. When we called and asked about this they said we were lying to them. They have continued to call us for a year-and-a-half to get us to trade the car in we have told them over and over and over that they are harassing us please do not call us anymore they lie and come up with every reason to get us to bring our car to the dealership so they can get us to trade it in promising lower payments and everything else. When we bought the car car salesman lied to so much that whenever we raised xxxx about it and tried to go back a week later and try to rectify the situation he no longer work there. I have all of my maintenance on the car done at Toyota Fort Worth I have had the sales team go over my paperwork from Toyota of Dallas trying to help me get the car refinanced and every person that I talk to tells me they have never seen a dealership treat someone this poorly and lie to them this much. I do not see how they legally get away with what they are doing but I guess I was just the xxxxxxx that sign the papers. And if the general manager of Toyota of Dallas is reading this or the owner feel free to look up my contract it is under Lisa Baker and Edward Lewis and you will see that there is nothing I'm riding in here that is not true. I have had two Active cases against Toyota of Dallas with Toyota Motor Corporation and neither one of them have gotten anywhere so like I said if you're going to go to Toyota of Dallas you better take a lawyer with you or a CPA to go over the paperwork before you sign it. Thank you and I hope you never go to Toyota of Dallas

The "Used Cars" side of this dealership is dedicated to swindling you as best they can. They sell by pressuring their customers - they play the game well. Definitely don't buy a car on your first visit. And make them show you the invoice.My experience was with a used 2015 mazda3. I had an appointment, had to wait 30 minutes even though I was on time, and a different salesman ended up helping me. What they made look like a great deal turned out to be (according to the CarFax) a car that had been a rental previously (so it had been treated roughly), had been auctioned several times, and had been in an accident that they failed to tell me about. I eventually bought a new Mazda3 in elsewhere for not much more than these guys were offering on a questionable car.After initially saying I was interested in the car, then later texting him that I decided on purchasing somewhere else, Richard Jones replied with "Wow. Thanks for making me look like an idiot." Don't waste your time with these guys. There are better dealers out there.

This was by far the best experience I've had with purchasing a car. Thomas Stauts and the team at Toyota of Dallas was refreshing to work with. I am NOT a easy person to work with, and I was out to shop for the best deal. Thomas Stauts was my first stop. Toyota of Dallas is where I have been servicing my current vehicle, and I felt familiar with this location. Thomas was very understanding that I wanted to make sure I was getting a good deal. I then drove to three other dealers over the next two days, and met very pushy sales people who only cared was how to sell me a car that day, and not let me leave. I am very happy to say the first deal offered was the best deal, and I was back at Toyota of Dallas. I would definitely recommend Thomas at Toyota of Dallas.

Neighbors and friends, please don't go here if you have to. We have lived in the area - Farmers Branch for over 40 years. My husband is a combat veteran with a purple heart. They kept us all afternoon, and would not do a deal over $250.00. No negotiation, he just put us out the door. My husband and I will be able to buy a car - ANYWHERE - but if they will do this to a combat veterans family, they certainly will do it to you. Try Grapevine, or Lewisville. This is a bad dealership, and the finance person, won't speak to you until they decide they cannot deal with you, and they won't thank you for your time, or coming in. They will just dismiss you. My husband didn't get wounded in Vietnam to be treated in this way. You don't go in to look with your family to waste your time either. Do yourself a favor, if you don't believe us, try sending back their deals 4+ times....waste a day, but then go somewhere else where you will be treated with respect.

Yesterday I had an outstanding experience at Toyota of Dallas. I had taken my son's Corolla in for a recall notice with no appointment. They were able to get the car in immediately. While waiting I started talking with Sarah, the customer satisfaction manager, and she gave me a tour of the entire facility. It had been rebuilt since the last time I had been there. Of particular help was Thomas Page and Ross Bird. They were both helpful and informative. In just a couple of hours I was back on the road. It was the best experience I had ever had at any dealership.

A little Advice: Don't go to Toyota of Dallas they use bait and switch. Toyota of Dallas said they would match the price when I got there that was not the case. The advertisrd price was 15,100 2016 Toyota Corolla. When I arrived they said the car had been sold, then switched the story to we made a mistake on the web site. At least keep your lies consistent. . The owner nor the manager returned my calls.Oh by the way, kindness and honesty wins the day and repeat business. Toyota of Ft. Worth beat their price by 1000.00 and had me on the way in a new car wihin an hour of the time I arrived. Go to Fort Worth Toyota they will save you at least a $1000.00. ON top of that they will treat you with dignity and respect.

Our car had a repair that could not be fixed, so we decided to get a new minivan. We were on a time crunch, so I contacted 8-9 Toyota and Honda dealerships in the area to get the best price, before I came in. I got several quotes emailed to me, and contacted Toyota of dallas to see if they could beat it. They told me they could. We came in with our daughter and they started playing games with us. They claimed that I was lying about the price quoted to me, even though the conversation was voice recorded and I was very clear about what I wanted. We ended up walking out after an hour because they wouldn't honor the price they said. The manager came up to us and said he was glad we weren't buying a car from him. They were incredibly rude the entire time and claimed I was lying. We went straight to Toyota of richardson and bought the same car for a better price without any hassle. I would never recommend them to anyone.

I'm only giving Toyota of Dallas a one star rating because there was no option for zero stars. Since my husband's car was recently totaled in a flood in Houston, we drove to Dallas today to buy a car from Tauren.Tauren has eagerly and persistently called us over the past few days after approving my husband, who has excellent credit by the way, for the car that he wanted. We spoke with Tauryn before we left Houston and a couple times while on the way to the dealership. Once we arrived, we shook hands with Tauren (no eye contact) and were asked to wait at his desk. Well we waited about 45 minutes only to hear, not from Tauren himself, but from another salesperson that the car was sold this morning. Now, aside from the fact that this indicates that there is no effective communication at this dealership, neither between colleagues nor between salesperson and customer, there was also no attempt to make the situation better or to show other options. We understand that things happen, but it just seems like any smart car salesman would make every attempt to at least still make a sale when money is on the table with no strings attached. Bottom line, poor service here.

Since my husband's car was recently totaled in a flood in Houston, we drove to Dallas today to buy a car from Tauren.Tauren has eagerly and persistently called us over the past few days after approving my husband, who has excellent credit by the way, for the car that he wanted. We spoke with Tauryn before we left Houston and a couple times while on the way to the dealership. Once we arrived, we shook hands with Tauren (no eye contact) and were asked to wait at his desk. Well we waited about 45 minutes only to hear, not from Tauren himself, but from another salesperson that the car was sold this morning. Now, aside from the fact that this indicates that there is no effective communication at this dealership, neither between colleagues nor between salesperson and customer, there was also no attempt to make the situation better or to show other options. We understand that things happen, but it just seems like any smart car salesman would make every attempt to at least still make a sale when money is on the table with no strings attached. Bottom line, poor service here.

This is a great dealership! The staff is good, especially Kelly. He's very patient and a good listener. I only went in to test drive an Avalon, and he was very knowledgeable and didn't try to force me into a deal when I indicated that I wanted to do more research. Unfortunately, I'm not in the market for a new car right this minute, but my mom and I are both planning on coming to Kelly when our current Corolla leases are up! Also, when you buy a car you get to ring a huge gong, so there's that! :)

I was referred to Augusto Medrano by my friend her parents had bought their car at Toyota of Dallas and they told me he was not your typical salesman he actually listens to what customers want. I called him late on Sunday and he answered his phone suprising due to it being his day off I told him my friends parents had just bought a car from him and I wanted to go in on Monday since it was my day off he set some time apart to show me my Rav 4 he answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable of the product. I was looking online for a Camry and by far Toyota of Dallas had the best pricing. I went to Toyota of Dallas and was just driving by when Augusto Medrano asked me if I had been helped I told him I was comparing cars and pricing and he said he was their to answer all my question I knew right their that he was not a pushy salesman he showed me a Camry and a Corolla and asked me what was I comparing it too I told other makes and models and he respected my answer he was very knowledge about other make and models and told me that he understood it was my first day looking. I went to two other dealers and did not get the same treatment that I got from him. I decided to buy that weekend from him due to him being respectful towards me. I bought a brand new Camry from Augusto Medrano I live in Lufkin Tx and called the dealership and he answered the phone with a great attitude. I asked him if the prices were real online and what was the catch he said their is not a catch that they are a volume dealership and want to sell as many cars as a dealer he asked me if I was able to come to Dallas I told him I already had plans to come out that weekend but did not want to waste my time he told me that he would not waste my time just to bring in the stk# of the car and he would have it pulled up for me when I get their. I got to Dallas and went to see him and the rest was done I was their for an 1 hour and 30 min and took delivery of my car. Augusto was very considerate of my time and my weekend I will send him everyone I know from east Texas.

I want anyone who is in the market for a car to go see Augusto Medrano at Toyota of Dallas he made me feel very welcomed to the dealership as a buyer it can be terrifying sometimes but not with him. I was their during my lunch break and he showed me the Rav 4 I told him I was only their to see the car and drive it and only had 1 hour to be their he was very respectful of my time we test drove one and he explained all the trims in less than half an hour and drove it as well. I told him I would come back with my parents and we went back on Saturday and we bought one of the main reasons I bought from him cause he took his time to explain everything all over again to my parents and it was in Spanish he was very polite to me and my family I will defiantly send him everyone I know.

Who knew car buying could be a such a pleasurable experience?Like most car buying experiences begin nowadays begin, it started with an online search. My search eventually led me to Toyota of Dallas website where I found the car that had all my requirements. In the buying process usually the car is the star of the review but the staff at Toyota of Dallas are the real MVP.My original inquiry was to see if they had the Camry I had settled for but unfortunately it had sold that afternoon! Nightmare situation right? Nope, I got attended really quick with Melina who told me of a car that had just came in that fit everything I wanted plus the color I had wanted, red.
