"Thank You Craig" and Toyota Bountiful
I can't thank Craig Vierig enough for his help getting my daughter into a new car. She has been raising 3 grandchildren by herself and really needed a dependable car (her's has 160 K miles on it and was falling apart). After shopping online comparing models and prices we talked to Craig on the phone and decided to drive from Pocatello to Toyota Bountiful. We both liked Craig as soon as we met him, and spent most of a day hanging out with him ( he even fed us pizza and soft drinks). Craig was such a gentleman, he was never impatient or pushy. It was like we had known him forever. My daughter got a brand new Toyota Avalon, which she loves. If I know anyone in the market for a new car I will tell them "look around all you want-then go see Craig at Toyota Bountiful". Seems like they only care about the sale
Just to get the sale my loan was under my consigner rather then my own name which is what I wanted. Made it a hassle to make my payments. Said it be under me but it wasn't and that's just because they wanted to insure their sale. Sales department was too sales driven and didn't provide service to the customer needs is essentially what I am saying. Service department is way to long and they just apologize but never feel apologetic. So I wouldn't recommend this dealership for poor service.
poor service and not honest dealer
i bought the rav4 at toyota bountiful from lease owner it cost $ 23,5000.00 .They charged a lot thing but i just need a good car wash for first time buying and they did not finish either. I bought a Camry and Van from Mark Miller and Larry Miller before.. They service a lot better and more trust.I never refer anybody to go there buying the cars.

I was blown away by the service, friendliness and care tht I received from everyone at Bountiful Toyota when buying my Camry! They are the best! The price was terrific and every time I go back they act like family:) and do everything to make my visit great. I really am impressed, because I have dealt with many dealerships in the past and always felt, once the deal was done, they could care less. Bountiful Toyota is the exception. Recommend them highly!

The stress of searching for a car was getting to us and then we met Jen. We live in South Jordan and had tried working with several dealerships and auto sales lots but ran into some issues. Some of it was just not having the car we wanted, a used toyota sienna minivan around 40-50k miles. The other toyota dealerships hardly had cars in our price range unless we went for 2010 model or so. Many sales people acted like they'd get back to us but they waited 3-5 days before an email or text follow up. Luckily by then we called the Bountiful dealership and Jen cut all the crap and helped us not only find a car but she worked with us and made sure we got everything we wanted - even as I was being difficult to work with. We found a 2015 in great condition and she made sure their price and offer beat everyone else's. We were thrilled!Jen really made our experience worth while. I wish we had found her first but now i know where to go next time. It was nice knowing my father in law, who is a nut about cars, has bought a few cars from this location and referred several others, even though he lives 40 min south and passes dozens of other dealerships on the way. When a dealership and salesperson earn your trust its worth it to start there first to avoid all the unnecessary complications that come from buying a car.

My experience with the purchase of a brand new Tacoma was very pleasant. I am not one that responds well to high pressure. Free car wash sub par
Car wash does not get bugs off the car. When we bought our new camery the sales department said it came with free car wash and vacuum for life. Each time we take the car in and ask for the car wash and vacuum we get a very poor quality. The car still has bugs on it and the back seat is not vacuumed. The front vacuuming is very poor. The service manager explained their car was is just a drive through and not to expect they will get the bugs off. They use a shop vacuum and not to expect a good vacuum job. Back seat vacuuming is not provided. This is unacceptable and very poor quality. I was fed a lie when they offered free car wash

A company that does not stand behind its work.
I originally sent this letter to Toyota of Bountiful on July 22. I re-sent it a month later. It has been ignored. Im posting it on Yelp, and on a number of state, federal and corporate websites. Maybe Im a whiner. You decide. On June 13, the electrical system on my 2006 Toyota Tundra shut down in Bountiful while I was driving from my home in Clinton to my place of work in Price, UT. I had it towed to Toyota of Bountiful. I had experienced this trouble the previous day, so I had personally replaced the battery and the alternator that afternoon. I spoke with one of the service representatives, Brandon. He assured me they would find and fix the real problem. Eventually, he told me that the problem was with the negative battery cable terminal. He informed me that they could either repair the terminal, for about $200, or replace the battery cable, which he told me would cost about $1,000. That seemed an awfully high price for a battery cable, but he just shrugged and said he didnt know why it cost so much. I dont live in Bountiful, and I had to get to work, so I told him to go ahead and repair the battery terminal. The terminal end of a battery cable, by the way, usually costs about $4. A while later, Brandon came back and informed me that the battery I had just purchased was faulty, and that one of the cells was completely useless. He told me I would need a new battery in order to drive the truck. I was stuck in Bountiful, so I agreed to replace the battery, which cost about $185, including an $18 charging fee.I paid $372.83 and drove off. I work in Price, UT, which is a two-hour drive from Bountiful. Just before I got the Price, the truck lost electrical power and shut down again. I called another tow truck. I asked the driver to recommend a mechanic, and he suggested I take the vehicle to Supreme Muffler in Price. When I got there, I talked with the owner, Joe Piccolo, and explained what had been happening. My job requires me to work in a remote location for a nine-day shift, and I told Joe I wouldnt be able to pick the vehicle up until the end of my shift. When I checked in with him two days later, he told me that they would have to replace the alternator, because it had been burned out. He asked where I had purchased it, and I told him I had gotten it at an Auto Zone store. He told me he would drive it over to Auto Zone and get a free replacement, and that I would only have to pay for the labor. When I checked back, another mechanic, Carl Potter, told me they had replaced the alternator, but then discovered the battery cable was actually at fault. It had high electrical resistance and was actually melting the fuse block. He said a replacement cable would cost $19.95. Thats a lot less than the $1,000 Id been quoted by Toyota of Bountiful.The day after I got home to Clinton, I took the supposedly defective battery back to the Layton Napa Auto Parts store where I had purchased it. I told one of the salesmen that I had been told by Toyota of Bountiful that one of the cells was burnt out. He put it on the battery tester and told me that there was nothing wrong with it other than being discharged. He told me if I returned in an hour it would be as good as new. I came back an hour later and he told me it was ready. So I drove to Toyota of Bountiful. After I told my story, Brandon told me that I had authorized the purchase of the battery and that he couldnt do anything about it. I was a bit surprised, but I pointed out that he had told me the battery was defective, and that wasnt the case. He told me he would bring out the parts manager, and when he showed up, he told me they couldnt replace the battery because they dont sell used batteries. So, I said, You wont refund my money for a battery I didnt need because you dont sell used batteries? They looked at each other and shrugged. I asked what the stores policy was when they misdiagnosed a mechanical problem, Brandon told me: We got you back on the road. That is true. They got me back on the road for two hours and then the problem reappeared. They charged me $372.83 for a problem they didnt fix and for a battery I didnt need. I asked to speak to the service manager or the store manager. Brandon told me that the service manager, John Pollet, wasnt available that day, which was a Friday, but that he would have him call me Monday. That was more than four months ago, and I havent heard a word from him. To sum up, Toyota of Bountiful does not stand behind their work. If they dont get it right, well, its your fault for not knowing what was wrong. I am requesting a full and complete refund of the money I was charged at Toyota of Bountiful. I consider the business practices of this company to be disgraceful, and I would highly recommend avoiding them at all costs. They're happy to take your money.

Terrible Service
I went to this dealership for a recall repair. The staff ignored me, did not help me find my way to the correct area to receive assistance, never called when my car was ready, and hung up on me when I called to check on the status. I will never purchase a vehicle at this location. Drive to Salt Lake.
40 year bountiful toyota customer disillusioned
Knowing just what I wanted to purchase, I walked in to have not one but three salesman flee, guy approaching me must have drawn the short straw, so he thought. Did they think I was lost and couldn't find the shoe dept.? Within less than half hour this salesman had a big sale. Apparently because I am a woman I should suffice. To top it off I have been treated exactly the same when I returned to expensive extras, paid by me. Again, can't talk to me for 1 minute about the services performed. Spent over 1200 in extras and all I got was "here's your paperwork". I had to ask for my truck. Once again, I didn't just buy a freaking purse. Sadly toyota, if you had recalled, I said I would be back to pick up my second new car this summer, something little and sporty. Now I know how to find a more personal dealer, one whom will follow through with the attention they promised.Disillusioned and it's now your loss.MM

I was way to upside down in my car. I just had done bankruptcy in march. I couldn't get a new car to save my life. So I went to the place I bought my last two cars. My hero's not only did they get me a car but they got me a 2016 camri brand new. After I saw so snatches on my car. No big deal because they will be fixed asap!!! You must go see Reed and Doug :-)

Toyota Sienna Purchase
I went to Toyota Bountiful to test drive Siennas with my wife and kids. We liked the van, so I took my family home and came back alone to trade my truck for a minivan. It broke my heart, but the guys at Toyota Bountiful eased that pain by helping us come to what I thought was a good deal for the van and for my trade in. They were friendly and willing to work with me on pricing and financing options, which I appreciated. Doug was friendly with my family during the test drive and he and Ian helped with my research on different trim levels of the Sienna and even nearby comparable vehicles for sale. Weston was great explaining the finance terms and benefits/disadvantages of the various warranties and other considerations. All of this was done in a friendly manner after 9:30 PM when they likely wanted to be home, but it didn't show.Thanks to all of you for the pleasant buying experience.

Worst customer service I've ever had mainly because I sighed documents saying it'd be 4300, and now it's ending up to be 5200$ not only that before I took it home they said everything was fixed but it actually had over 1000$ worth in damages.

Great Car, Terrible Customer Service
We have a child with special needs that requires the auto access seat offered in the Sienna. We had been researching these vans for quite some time and were waiting on a raise to purchase the van. We saw that Bountiful had lower tax rates and decided to go to Toyota Bountiful for the lower rate big mistake. Because we had to special order our van, the salespeople used every trick in the book to take advantage of us, all the while saying that this is how they treat their family. I would hate to be their family.In the beginning we were presented with two offers. One with a higher interest rate, and one with a lower interest rate, but with a bunch of useless packages added on. He said he had to add on those things in order to get the rate down total lie, this is called dealer reserve and buying down the interest rate. We figured we'd rather get something out the deal and not throw money away on interest. We later realized that we had many more options because the interest rate is completely dependent on credit score and is not manipulated by packages or price. We had already signed though and got trapped. After giving them a down payment to order our special needs van they did not give us updates or return our calls at all (we have the phone records to prove it). We repeatedly called to check on the status, but never got a straight answer. At one point they told us the van had been built and would be there the next week. When we called back they realized it was going to a different dealer in Indiana. How do they not know where their inventory is coming from? We had better luck directly calling the fleet manager and even found out that the van was there before the salespeople knew. Their lack of communication with us and each other was appalling.When we sat down to negotiate the final price they refused to budge on anything. The tax rate had gone up since they made the first offer so they gladly put that in. We wanted to make sure that the $1000 manufacture rebate was coming from them and was separate from the $1000 Toyota mobility reimbursement. When we mentioned this he said they were the same thing, which we knew was a complete lie because we had agreed at the initial offer that they werent. My wife started getting emotional and he repeatedly told her to stop crying which made us way more upset. We held our ground and he totally blew up, jumped up from his chair, yelled at us, and stormed out the door. After a heated conversation on the phone with his manager, he came back and acted like he had done us a favor by separating the two. From that point on he was very short with us and chided us whenever we asked questions to clarify the contract. The only saving grace from this is that we love our van. It works great for us and has not given us any problems. For this reason, we will always buy Toyota vehicles, but we will NEVER buy from Toyota Bountiful again which is too bad for them because my in-laws recently purchased a Toyota from a different dealer based on our experience.
Amazing Experience
I have never had such a quick experience when buying a new car! Craig was beyond great to work with and extremely knowledgeable about everything to do with our new car. The financing team was very thorough when it came time to review our warranty options and financing. We didn't feel like we were just a number, the entire Toyota team made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be purchasing future cars from them!
Bad sales experience
I had a bad experience at this place years ago but assumed things had changed and figured I'd give them another try. So this time my wife and I went in looking for a used vehicle and the sales guy we were placed with was the typical pushy used car sales man. He tried to appear to be friendly and accommodating, but he frustrated us both to the point we didn't want to work with him or the dealership anymore, even if they had a vehicle we wanted. We started to sign for a vehicle but the finance guy who was very nice and polite and honest and very helpful with giving us a good interest rate, he corrected some of the information provided by the sales guy which made my wife and I angry. Ultimately we decided not to get the vehicle we were interested in. After talking to the sales guy, he quickly stood up, shook our hands out of obligation, and stormed off like a child who didn't get what he wanted, wishing us good luck anywhere else as he stormed off. I'm the customer. Listen to me, be kind, be honest, and maybe you'll keep my business. Now I'll never return. Also, the kids play area is never maintained. All the toys are broken and there's garbage shoved in every possible crevice.

The Best Experience
After a terrible experience at Stockton 12 in Draper, I came home and started my search again. I quickly found the car that I wanted. Called Toyota Bountiful; Craig answered all my questions ( he even emailed me the car facts). The transaction was flawless. I met with Scott in financial, he walked me through the loan process and also answered all my questions ( he also got me a great interest rate).Being a woman sometimes buying a car can be intimidating, TOYOTA BOUNTIFUL made it an easy experience.

One Star, Because ZERO is not an option!
I can honestly say that the Toyota Bountiful Service Department is the absolute worst organization I have ever had to deal with in the world. I have spent the last 8 months trying to get something on my Camry fixed and they have failed to fix it multiple times. They finally gave up on me and would not return my calls or emails. I could go on and on about the lies I was told. Several different times, different staff would tell me different lies as to why my calls were not returned. They actually had the nerve to tell me that the Assistant Service manager was out of town for an entire month and that is why my messages and emails were not returned. And then, when I did get ahold of him, he said he would call me the next day.... That was 3 weeks ago today; still haven't heard from him. JOHN NEEDS TO FIND A NEW JOB. He has no follow through ability at all. I wont waste your time with the months and month of BS I could tell you about. From being lied to, to being hung up on, to being left in the parking lot with no shuttle ride. Just the worst service ever. I TOOK MY CAR BACK TO KARL MALONE TOYOTA IN DRAPER AND THEY HAD ME ALL TAKEN CAR OF IN LESS THAN 5 HOURS. Good Job Karl Malone Toyota in Draper! That's right; Toyota Bountiful had me jumping through hoops for 8 months and still couldn't get it right. Karl Malone had my car diagnosed and fixed in less than 5 hours. Karl Malone also found the Extended Warranty that Toyota Bountiful claimed did not exist and so the repairs were all covered. DON'T WASTE TIME AT TOYOTA BOUNTIFUL, DRIVE THE EXTRA 20 MINUTES TO KARL MALONE TOYOTA IN DRAPER, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. Toyota Bountiful is such a joke, at least their Service Department. I bought my car from Karl Malone and should have known to go back for repairs. Karl Malone is AMAZING. Toyota Bountiful is the worst dealership around. Oh, and did I mention the Service Department (John, the assistant Service Manager) was horrible to deal with?

I can't say enough about every aspect of my experience. Aaron Nall was our finance advisor and really helped us to make the beat decisions regarding our car. No pressure to buy any extras. However, he guided us to get the extended warranty, I'm so glad we did, within a year's time we are using that warranty to cover what would've been a VERY COSTLY repair. I'm grateful for his wisdom and guidance. Oil Change? They go waaaaay above what anyone has EVER! I had a nail in my tire, that they found during the oil change and fixed it no charge. Plus, I have 24hr roadside service included with my oil change for FREEEEE!!!I'm happy to say, I'm writing this review whIle getting a 45 min ride home with the shuttle service. Talk about going above and beyond to help their customers. And they'll come pick me up if I need them to. You can't go wrong here! All around best service I've ever received.
Lack of service from "service department"
I am not a happy customer of Toyota Bountiful (TB). I brought my 2007 Scion tC into their service department to address an enhanced warranty that I received from Scion. I have never been greeted when pulling in, their lot techs sit on the side on their phones and usually there is only one service manager, Brandon, to be found. I left my car with Brandon so that TB could address this enhanced warranty and I was provided a shuttle ride back to my work by a lovely gentleman name Javier. Later in the afternoon I received a call from a Michael Turner. If this person was a service manager I really couldn't tell based on his vocabulary and nonchalant attitude. He literally did not want to give me the time of day (which becomes very important later on in this story). Mr. Turner sends a different shuttle driver to pick me up (also a lovely person) and I arrive at TB to, surprise, be helped by Brandon again! Never met Mr. Turner my "service manager." Brandon (the only working employee) explains to me that I have to bring my car back between a certain mileage to complete a test and that components of my engine have been tamper taped. Then I go out to my nicely washed car and I find a sticky note from the technician reminding me of the exact same mileage. Nice, right? Well you would think so... So I complete the "test" within the certain mileage and I bring my car back to TB to, surprise, work with Brandon again (this time he's my "service manager," but I'm still convinced that he's the only one that works there). I drop my car off at 9:40 and receive a nice shuttle ride from Javier again. It's not until about 2 pm that I finally receive a call from Brandon telling me that this "Michael Turner" individual (the one who couldn't give me the time of day) didn't fill out the "right paperwork" for my warranty enhancement and that I basically wasted my time and that nothing could be done, except for me retaking this test. Typically this wouldn't be a big deal except I am baffled at the laxcidaisical attitude, or lack there of, on behalf of the staff at TB. I asked Brandon specifically if this was going to be addressed with Mr. Turner and he says, "unfortunately, not at this time." I ask if there's anything they can do for my wasted time and again the answer is "no." I don't understand what they did with my car the first time it was there and I really don't understand why it took the 4 hours to tell me that they messed up? At this point in time I am a concerned consumer needing reassurance. I remember that a John Pollette, service department manager, had emailed me after my first visit stating that if I didn't receive "excellent customer service" I could contact him. So I did. I called Mr. Pollette only to reach his voicemail so I left a message asking him to call me. Then I thought I would just respond to his email with an explanation of what occurred and the concerns I had. When I arrived back to TB Brandon was busy again as the ONLY one working (surprise, surprise) and I had to wait for him without being greeted. He apologized for the situation and showed me the missing "paperwork." It's literally a drawing of the dipstick to check the oil, I repeat, a drawing. So I ask, "THIS is what was missing?" To the response of "yeah. Oh and the engine 'wasn't' tamper taped?" So I ask Brandon, "what DID you guys do?" His reply, "an oil change." An oil change! So even though I signed paperwork stating that a "test" was being done and the technician left a sticky note in my car about mileage all they completed was an oil change?!? That sounds fishy to me. At this point in time I ask to speak to Mr. Pollette again and conveniently he's gone. So I walk over to my uncleaned car (remember how it was cleaned the first time?) and I leave. Do you want to know why I am writing this review? Because it's almost a week later and Mr. Pollette still hasn't give any time to contact me. This is not the dealership to work with.
On the fence
Are car broke down and we needed another one so we found a minivan we needed. the service was great the sales man came and got us but he was a typical sales man told us what we wanted to hear. We liked the the van so we got it it's been a week and the check engine light is on and it needs a oil change you think if they had there own shop they would change the oil before they sold it but ok and its going to be 80 to get a diagnostic which if I just bought it I think it should be free. So I wouldn't recommend them I just hope it's a minor problem and I don't have to park both car's.

Their lot techs sit on the side on their phones and usually there is only one service manager, Brandon, to be found. Brandon is nice but overworked since he's the only one around and you can tell that immediately when talking to him just by his energy level and tone of voice upon meeting a perfect stranger aka "customer." I left my car with Brandon so that they could address this enhanced warranty and I was provided a shuttle ride back to my work by a lovely gentleman name Javier (literally the only person at Toyota Bountiful that provided decent service). Later in the afternoon, the day I dropped it off, I received a call from a Michael Turner. If this person was a service manager I really couldn't tell him apart from a "surfer dude" based on his vocabulary and nonchalant attitude. He literally did not want to give me the time of day (which becomes very important later on in this story). Mr. Turner sends a different shuttle driver to pick me up (also a lovely person) and I arrive at Toyota Bountiful to, surprise, be helped by Brandon again! Never met Mr. Turner my "service manager." Brandon (who by the way is their only working employee beyond the shuttle drivers) explains to me that I have to bring my car back between this certain mileage to complete a test and that components of my engine have been tamper taped so that they cannot be messed with. Then I go out to my nicely washed car and I find a cute little sticky note from the technician reminding me of the exact same mileage Brandon just informed me of. Nice, right? Well you would think so...So I complete the "test" within the certain mileage and I bring my car back to Toyota Bountiful to, surprise, work with Brandon again (this time he's my "service manager," but I'm still convinced that he's the only one that works there beside the lot tech with the shaggy hair that's always on his phone). I drop my car off at 9:40 and receive a nice shuttle ride from Javier again. It's not until about 2:00 pm that I finally receive a call from Brandon telling me that this "Michael Turner" individual (the one who couldn't give me the time of day) didn't fill out the right paperwork for my warranty enhancement test and that I basically wasted my time and that nothing could be done, except for me retaking this test. Now I'll admit, typically this wouldn't be a big deal except I am baffled at the laxcidaisical attitude, or lack there of, on behalf of the staff at Toyota Bountiful. I asked Brandon specifically if this was going to be addressed with Mr. Turner and he says, "unfortunately, not at this time." I ask if there's anything they can do for my wasted time and again the answer is "no."I don't understand what they did with my car the first time it was there and I really don't understand why it took the 4 hours to tell me that they messed up? What are they hiding? So at this point in time I am a concerned consumer needing reassurance. I remember that a John Pollette, the manager over the entire service department, had emailed me after my first visit asking that if I didn't receive "excellent customer service" that I could contact him. So I did. I called Mr. Pollette only to reach his voicemail so I left a simple message asking him to call me. Then I thought I would just respond to the email with an explanation of what occurred and the concerns I have. When I arrived back to Toyota Bountiful Brandon was busy again as the ONLY one working (surprise, surprise) and I had to wait for him without being greeted. He apologized for the situation and showed me the missing "paperwork." It's literally a drawing of the dipstick to check the oil, I repeat, a drawing. So I ask, "THIS is what was missing?" To the response of "yeah. Oh and the engine 'wasn't' tamper taped?" So I ask Brandon, "what DID you guys do?" His reply"an oil change." An oil change!!! So even though I signed paperwork stating that a "test" was being done and the technician left a sticky note in my car about mileage all they completed was an oil change?!? That sounds fishy to me, what about to you? At this point in time I ask to speak to Mr. Pollette again and conveniently he's gone. Surprise, surprise. So I walk over to my uncleaned car (remember how it was cleaned the first time?) and I leave. Do you want to know why I am writing this review? Because it's almost a week later and Mr. Pollette still hasn't give any time to contact me. I think people really need to be careful when working with dealerships and this is not the one to go to. I take VERY good car of my car. There are no oil leaks, I perform every service needed and it's in great condition. Toyota sent me the warranty enhancement, I did not go looking for this, yet no help was received.

I am thrilled with my new Rav4! I went to two other local dealerships (both Millers) one treated me like an idiot, the other was just snobby and rude. I got in touch with Jesse and he not only treated me like a human being but like family. He sat me down and explained the lease process so I could finally understand how it works. I like so many other buyers were hesitant to buy a car at a dealership, fearing the pushy salesman would hound me until I finally gave in and bought what he wanted me to buy, however, this dealership, especially Reid Teo was just the opposite. He was helpful, informative, knowledgeable and very easy to work with. Never did I feel pressured or uncomfortable. Reid is great and I would definitely recommend him to anyone.
Poor Service. Failure to communicate.
I needed to take my car in to get my tires rotated. I called and set up an appointment for Saturday at 10 a.m. Throughout the week I was reminded of my appointment by email 3 times and even received a call the day before to remind me. On Saturday morning I drove 30 minutes up to Toyota Bountiful and they told me I would have to wait at least 2 hours but probably more like 3 or 4 hours..... Just to get my tires rotated. I made this appointment a week in advance, and like I said I was reminded of the appointment multiple times throughout the week, but here it is, the day of the appointment and they can't call to let me know they are 3 to 4 hours behind.... a simple phone call would have sufficed. After I left I was a bit upset so I called to find out what was going on..... got a hold of someone in customer service and they told me they had no managers in the building on Saturday but she would have someone in service call me when they had time.... no call on Saturday. Here it is now Monday and I get a call from someone saying "hey you didn't show up to your appointment on Saturday, would you like to reschedule?" I missed that call, so I called back to talk to Bryce, the person that called me. Bryce was on lunch and she would call me back when she was done..... no call today.... 2 out of the 3 times I have had to deal with the service department I have been utterly disappointed. No communication, and little customer service skills.

I bought my 2009, 46,000 miles, Mini Cooper S from them in November of 2015. I took it on a vacation to California on March 4th. before leaving the oil was fine, car was running great and on March 5th my timing chain fell off, hit a piston and broke a valve. my engine was dead... I called the Toyota dealership to ask for any sort of help they could give me from 1,000 miles away and all they said was call my warranty company. I, thinking the warranty was through them, was confused and did not have any information on the company that did have my warranty. they said I should go through my signing documents (in Utah) and kept saying "what do you want us to do?" "what do you expect from us?" I expected some information on where my $2100 went for an extended warranty! not knowing where else to go, I looked for the nearest Mini cooper dealership to Santa Ana and they were able to pull up my warranty information from my vin number. I was told by the financing manager that I would be COMPLETELY covered if ANYTHING mechanical or electrical went wrong on the car. this was supposed to last five years or X amount of miles and it just so happened that I had something go wrong within the first three months and 2,000 miles! when I got my car in the shop the warranty company took so long to get pictures and file the claim that they did not get it finished before my vacation was over. I had to fly back to Utah, wait another week to have the warranty people approve the fix and then fly back down to California to find out that the "full coverage warranty" I was sold only covered a portion of the cost! I paid $3000 out of pocket after the warranty, $600 on airplane tickets to and from, lost $129 on a night at the hotel because we were forced to leave a day early because we could not return the rental car on a Sunday, $100 to toe my car to the mini dealer, and 24 hours worth of work I had to take off in order to go back to pick my car up. I was told by Toyota that they basically set the base price on the car and all of this "other stuff" should be taken up with the warranty company. They used me to make an extra buck, sold me a warranty that did basically nothing and has yet to put me on the phone with any of the people I dealt with saying the man that sold me the car is no longer employed there and the financial manager is never in the office! I feel a bit cheated! even if this is something that could not have been prevented at all I should have been treated better than I was!
Great Experience!
I had a really great first time buying a car at a dealership experience. I had been looking at their website for used cars and shortly after I received an email from Joshua Chavez asking if he could be of any help in my search. I told him what I was looking for and the price range I was looking into. I also told him that I was selling my current vehicle and couldn't buy a new car until it sold. He was very understanding and not pushy to get me to the dealership to start test driving. We were emailing back and forth for over 3 weeks and I didn't feel pressured once. When my car finally sold, I headed to the dealership and Josh had a couple cars for me to look at, so I test drove those. I made an appointment later that week to test drive a few more to compare and still never felt like I was being talked into anything. He also knew what he was talking about and always had an answer for my questions. After 4 weeks from when I started looking, Josh got me into a brand new Corolla without having to comprise my budget. I thought I'd have to buy used, but he and Weston Bird (the finance manager) made it happen. It was actually a dollar cheaper a month than what I wanted to pay. Weston is also pretty awesome. I was nervous to go into the finance room because that's where all the horror dealership stories come from. Again, I never felt pressured to get anything I didn't need or want. All the information was presented to me clearly and simply, which was nice. Before driving off the lot in my freshly detailed Corolla, Josh sat with me and showed me all the features of the car and set up my bluetooth for me. He also had me look throughout the car to make sure everything looked perfect (which it did, except for a tiny scuff mark on the glove box which he took care of immediately). My boyfriend is now thinking about buying a new car from them because of how well I was treated. I'd recommend seeing Josh and Weston at this dealership.

I originally just went in to look around and see what was on the Lot. Staff was very helpful, willing to talk honestly about inventory, finance options, prices ect. Finance manger was very knowledgeable, straight forward and helpful through the whole process. Got me in and out with ease. Made the whole process hassle free and I didn't walk out feeling any sort of buyers remorse. Overall happy with the whole experience!

Feeling ignored & dismissed
When buying our car, the finance manager included a warranty "that would cover everything for the term of the loan". I left his office feeling secure that we'd be taken care of. Fast forward 3 or 4 months later... The car won't shift out of park without manually overriding the shift lock. I took it in to the service center and was informed that this specific problem is NOT covered by the warranty I was sold. Feeling confused and annoyed, I went directly to the finance manager who then told me, after reading the fine print in the warranty he sold me, that this was in fact not covered. I expressed my frustration to him and reminded him of what was promised only a few months before. He informed me that the company for the warranty is owned by the dealership and that he would "make it right". I left his office again feeling certain that he'd call me back with a solution as promised. Here I am, after a month of waiting and several unreturned phone calls to him and the service center, still holding out hope to be made whole. I'm at a loss. I don't know what's more frustrating, being given inaccurate information or being dismissed and ignored so blatantly. At this point I would appreciate a simple phone call in response to the many messages I've left.

Great purchase of my 2016 Tundra and service experience
A couple of weeks ago I bought a new Tundra from start to finish it took only an hour and half. I have never bought a Toyota.I ran into a great sale person Tyson Bentzen. I have owned Ram, Ford and Chevy dozens of them. Tyson did a really good Presention and had me drive it product knowledge was great, bottom line he sold me on this truck I wasn't leaving without it.I had a lift put on it the next day service was fantastic I didn't have an appointment they put a lift on it in 2 hours willing waiting in the lounge very comfortable.

Overall disappointed
We saw a vehicle on ksl.com and went to the dealership to see it. According to the website, it had been posted for sale for 5 days, yet when we arrived; it was not cleaned and ready. Why would you post a vehicle for sale that was not in a condition for customers to actually see?Ian, our sales representative was very nice, and pleasant during our buying experience on Saturday, February 20th. He seemed to make an effort to try and relate to our family and situation. However, after the deal was done, there were some items that were somewhat frustrating. Ian seemed to be disconnected, disorganized, and lacked follow up, making us feel like he didnt care. For the payment/financing experience, all was great although, I feel it would be best to have the sales person mention the mandatory $400 charge for some security/safety thing that was never explained. We still have no idea what we paid $400 for. Perhaps it would be nice to provide the customer with documentation as to what this is at the point of sale.During the duration of 5 days from when we purchased the vehicle to when it was ready for pick up, we had to initiate all communication throughout the week as Ian didnt call on the days/times agreed with updates on the vehicles status. On Thursday, February 25th, I called him 45 minutes prior to us arriving and he said the vehicle was ready. When we arrived it was not ready, so we had to wait. When leaving, I asked him for the 2nd set of keys and he informed us that they didnt have a 2nd set and that they cannot control the number of keys that the previous owner turns in. He went in to find out the cost to have another set made and to my surprise, seconds later, he walks out with the 2nd set of keys. Made us feel lied to although we know he probably was just disorganized.After we got home and started to get the vehicle situated we discovered that this specific vehicle actually belonged to Ians wife. Not that we have an issue with that but, it makes you feel like he wasnt honest by hiding that information and that he obviously knew there were 2 sets of keys.Overall, I would purchase another vehicle from this dealership and I hope that perhaps learning from this review there are some improvements made on the preparedness and anticipation of customers needs.

Quick, Efficient, and Flexible Service
As a working person, it is often difficult to get my car fixed. My working hours often coincide with the car repair place's hours of operation. It was awesome that Toyota Bountiful was open on a Saturday. It was easy to get an appointment. The car was fixed and ready to go within a few hours. The waiting area is nice and even provides some free snacks while you wait. I noticed a gym upstairs. If that is available to customers, what a great way to wait for your car. My service assistant Anthony was helpful and pleasant.

I was well taken care of. I dropped my car off in the morning and had it back in the afternoon. They took care of the air bag recall, put on a new serpentine belt, and did a regular oil change. The shuttle dropped me off at work and picked me up from work.

We purchased a new Lincoln from Performance Ford two years ago, we only come back when the car is due for service. I am sure the dealership see's thousands of owners in the mean time and yet when we pull in, they smile with a friendly greeting and then they say hello to us by calling us by name. Who does that? I am very impressed! While waiting, the gentleman who sold us our car, seeked us out to say hello and asked if we are enjoying our Lincoln, he made sure we felt at home and comfortable. Who does that? And just on the by, I think he has sold us on the new continental when it comes out. Yes, I am impressed!

aaron nall is the most dishonest and unethical finance mgr.
Aaron had me sign the sales contract and delivered the vehicle and three days later called me to come back and sign a new contract with higher pmt and on top of that i had to put money down which put me in financial strap, because i had no money to put down right from the starting of the transaction..Aaron also sent me a letter saying if i dont sign a new contract i need to bring the vehicle back and pay for miles driven plus any damage..i would like to know why he let me take the vehicle off the lot if i was not approved and why did he make me sign the contract which had no value.Craig vierig the sales person is the only reason why i returned ,he is very knowlegable upfront with no hidden surprises and honest with integrity.If craig moves to a different dealer i will go to him to buy my next vehicle but i will not come back to your dealership as long aaron is working there.In last 30 +years i always had new toyota vehicles.Even now i have 4 new toyota vehicles.thanks for letting me put my honest opnion.

This dealership is great and has excellent customer service. I love the car wash! But the best thing about this dealership is Anthony Aguallo. He put up with a lot from us, we were super picky, but he found us exactly what we wanted and we love it!

Terrible Service on trying to buy my 2nd car here
So Jose Gomez contacted me to trade in my 4runner so I told him give me a few weeks and to give me a call back. I decided to call jose back after a few days and i left him a message to call me back and he never did so I moved on and got ahold of Kyden and try to purchase my second vehicle from Toyota bountiful. Kyden never gave me the time of day when I told him what I needed as far as making a deal. I think he thought that he wasn't goin to make enough on the deal so he put no effort into my deal. He never even gave me a counter offer after he said he would. So I got ahold of Mark Miller Toyota and visited with a gentleman named Kyle and we made a deal! So I done business with Toyota bountiful once and won't do it again its time to move on. Mark Miller Toyota #1!!! Way to ruin a deal boys!
VERY dishonest practices at the service center...
I had a bad experience with them a while back due to insanely high repair prices and difficulty getting a quote but my car was having issues the other night and they were the only ones open so I decided to give them another try. Problems encountered:1, I called ahead (5 minutes out) and asked if they'd be able to look at my vehicle that night, they said yes. I arrived and was told all techs had left an hour and a half earlier.2, they said they definitely didn't think my vehicle was safe to drive and I should leave it overnight, they'd look at it first thing in the morning (a lady named Michelle stressed "first thing" twice) and call me back. So $100 to look at it and $35 for a rental...3, the next day no one called me back, I started calling at 1pm and was told the only person who could tell me anything about my car was Michelle but she wasn't there. I then kept calling back every 30 minutes and was repeatedly told no one else could tell me literally ANYTHING about my car but Michelle and she was with another customer.4, when she finally did call back late in the afternoon she said my car WAS safe to drive but diagnosing the problem was difficult which is why it took longer than "first thing in the morning". Once I got my car back I looked at my dashcam which turns on when my car does and shockingly it showed that they didn't start looking at my car till shortly after I started calling at 1pm.Short version: busy I understand, but repeatedly lying to a customer I do not. I have 2 repairs needed (1 minor) and my wife will soon be needing a new car, guess where I will NOT be going for help with any of those issues?

I took my car in to be worked on and the staff here is very friendly. Joe (I think thats his name) was really nice and tries hard to remember all the customers for the day. Then Javier drove me home and he was super nice. They said it would take 3-4 hours and it took just under 3!

I'm not the type of person to complain or write a negative review but after our experience at toyota bountiful I feel obligated to do so. I will NEVER buy here again. Me and my wife were new and inexperienced at the car buying process and we felt we were taken advantage of for that. I will share one thing that frustrated me. After picking the suv we wanted (a used one), we spent a lot of time going back and forth on a number (as you always do at dealership like this) and finally I said " if you replace the tires with new ones, we will buy today and you got a deal". The middleman who we were working with after going back and forth between us and the finance manager came back and said "you got a deal, we will throw the tires in if you buy today". Little did me and my wife know he was throwing the tires in alright but he was also adding 960 dollars to my loan and charged me for them. When we went back to sign papers by then we had been there 3 1/2 hours with a hungry baby and so we signed the papers where they pointed and trusted we were getting the deal we agreed upon (this is where our inexperience came into play). And later after getting home and looking closely over the contract I found they had taken an extra grand out on my loan for tires I could have bought for 600 anywhere else. It's so sad because, me and my wife love our car but we could have bought the same one without dealing with the Shadyness we felt we went through to get it. I tried calling and emailing them about the issue in hopes they would put the tires on for free as we were lead to believe or at least put tires on that were worth a grand rather then the non all terrain Junkers we got. All I got was a picture of my signature asking "is this not your signature and what you signed off on". Again, we won't ever be going back.

After the sale, you mean nothing
My dad bought his first car ever at this Toyota. My grandparents have bought every Toyota they have owned here at Bountiful, too. It made sense to come here to buy MY Toyota, right?? Ian, our sales person, was nice, but very pushy. We had test drove a Toyota corolla and found it to be right for us. We negotiated price before agreeing on the right amount. This was tedious and unnecessary. Both Kelly Blue Book and NADA put this car only $500 more then what we bought it for. We were buying this car in December, so the exterior of the car had dirt and road salt from other test drives. That is fine, 100% understandable to have a dirty car during winter months. We went and purchased the car relatively stress free. About 2-2.5 hour from start to finish. They washed the car for me and I drove home (1.5 hour north). Once home to show my family the car, I noticed a HUGE scratch and dent on the passenger rear door. I thought it was my mistake, but I found the car ad online and the scratch/dent was on the online pictures. I understand this is part my fault. I have an obligation to look over a car before I buy it, which I did, but because of the dirt and salt all over the car, it must have blended in. Either way, im part to blame. So I called the dealership, texted my salesperson, and left a message for the store manager, trying for 4 days trying to figure out a solution. I said this is part my fault, and part yours for not mentioning this, so lets meet half way. Just pay half the repair and ill pay half. After the exhausting arguments, the best they could do is buff it... horribly disappointed in a dealership my family has trusted for years. Would not recommend this dealership. EDITED: Just got calls back and it looks like there might be some help coming. Stay tuned.

Most everyone knows how stressful buying a new car can be. Especially if it's your first time. Weston Bird made us feel very comfortable and was willing to take the time to make sure we understood every step. He was very friendly, knowledgable, and professional. Jesse took care of us from the very beginning. Wasn't pushy at all and was extremely accommodating with exactly what we wanted. He was very personable and extremely friendly. My wife and I thought he was totally on our side in helping us (more like an agent rather than a salesman). First, let me thank the dealership as a whole! I had a great experience at Bountiful Toyota. From my salesman, Jacob, to the finance representative, Weston, everything went smooth. From the moment I arrived to the time I left, I felt no pressure from anyone, besides myself, to buy a car. I tried a couple other dealerships, and the no hassle buying is the way to go for me. They were up front with me and I liked that. I will definitely go back! My salesman, Jacob, was new to the dealership, but he knew where to go for the answers to my questions. He did a great job. VERY DISAPPOINTED......
Purchased a 2012 Camry several years back with Toyota Bountiful. Great experience. However we went to trade the Camry in a few weeks back. Worst car buying experience ever. I have never been so insulted by someone in the retail business. Auggie was extremely rude, arrogant, and totally ruined any chance of repeat or future business from us. We left and went to Larry H Miller and got the exact deal in 30min that we had spent over 2 hrs trying to get from Bountiful. Never going back. Someone should explain to Auggie how to treat people, ESPECIALLY in the customer service industry. Jeff and Ian were exceptional, and worked diligently in trying to make a deal work.

My daughter bought her first car with Bountiful Toyota. She is on leave from the Air Force and headed for her first duty station after completing boot camp and tech school. We pulled up and Dave was right there to help us. I liked the fact he wasn't pushy. He showed us the car we came to see and didn't try to push us to a car we weren't interested in. He even helped my daughter find insurance for her new car. After we came to a deal we went in to see Weston. Weston is the best financial manager I have ever dealt with. My daughter had a budget and he made sure she stayed within that budget. He helped her protect her new purchase with an extended warranty she could afford and stay within her budget. What can I say, WESTON IS AWESOME. I'm looking for a new truck and you can bet where I,m going and who will be doing my financing, I was a great job done by all of Bountiful's Toyota's staff. From Disappointment to Exceeded Expectations
During the Summer we visited Toyota Bountiful on two occasions. The first was to lease a new car. The second was to upgrade a car we leased from them and also buy a used car. Those would have been the 5th, 6th, and 7th Toyota's I have purchased or leased at this dealer (dating back to the Menlove day's with previous owners.) Those two experience did not go well. Our dialogue with the salesperson would provide information that would then be contradicted by the sales manager when it came to finalizing the deals. We walked away and leased new cars from Mazda and Nissan. We left both those events feeling like our previous purchase history and dealer loyalty meant nothing.We still had a need for a used car, so after a few months and several calls from the dealership inviting us back, we returned with a promise that our experience would be better. I am happy to report the experience was excellent! Joseph Banuelos did a fine job helping me select a used car. Sales Manager Eric Rosener's promises were the reason we went back and he delivered! What I didn't expect was how well my interaction with the finance manager Weston Bird went. It was evident he and Eric had talked about making this a great experience. So they now have sold me car #5 and have a great shot at car #6 and more down the road.

From the very first hand shake to the end of the process Everyone was very friendly and made us feel like we were the most important persons at the agency. We were never pressured nor made to feel we had to select items we did not want. When we first arrived, we were greeted with a person. He escorted us to a waiting area while he located Josh Chavez with whom we had an appointment. We were offered drinks, and snacks while we waited. Josh arrived right away. He wanted to find out what we were looking for, we took a test drive, and got down to the negotiations. No high pressure, we were advised of what choices we made and how long a delivery date would be. Very friendly and helpful. No high pressure nor arm twisting. Very pleasant experience not like the prior experiences we have experienced.

I was greeted by Ha. He and I hit it off first thing. Ha was very helpful, I felt like he was a proud company man but at the same time I felt that he was there to represent me.When we had a little trouble with the price, Jake H. came in and did his magic by resolving price between me and upper management. I have been thru this process many times . However, Jake handled it in such a way that we never became confrontational. My final stop was in the finance department with Weston Bird. Weston is very professional and knows his business very well. He did his best to upsell me with products that I was not interested in. However, he was always sensitive to what I wanted and didn't want. He helped me with a extended warranty plan that probably wasn't the best one for me but one that I felt best fit my budget. I had a great experience with not only this dealership but each individual person who helped us along the way. Our dealer Joseph Banuelos was very patient with us and did his best to show us cars that met the criteria that we gave him. He showed us numerous cars and with each car he tried to accommodate to comments and requests that we had. Tried to use religion to get a sale.
Within 5 minutes of our visit, our salesman had asked poignant questions to identify our religion. This is highly unprofessional-- even if you're trying to find common ground or talking points (regardless of being in Bountiful, Utah). It felt extremely inappropriate and was incredibly off-putting to both me and my spouse.He tried to show us multiple cars on the lot that were $10k+ what we wanted to spend. When we saw a car we liked and decided to test drive, I asked the price and he didn't know, just said it was "under our budget." We decided we wanted to keep looking and asked for some information on the cars we had driven (like the cost, which we never actually received). He took us inside and had his manager come speak to us, which felt like his last ditch effort to convince us to buy. The talk we had with the manager we actually felt like he listened to us and he even offered for us to bring a different car we had test driven elsewhere back to their dealership to do a side-by-side comparison. We both appreciated the offer. The original salesman came back and told us to pray about our decision. This felt weird and uncomfortable. We never got the requested information and then left.Our salesman was very nice, but made us both uncomfortable. A good salesman should not (and would not) need to bring up religion to get a sale. It did not work on us, and we will not be back.
Exceptional service and went the extra mile
We had been looking for a new vehicle for a few months. Upon encouragement from others to look at the Highlander, we went in. We dealt with Todd and Tyler over a 2 day period ... it was excellent. Both of them were not high pressure but were VERY knowledgeable about the product and capabilities of the feature sets with each model. We ended up buying a Highlander and was pressed for time in order to get to a college football game. Tyler went out and helped the tech detail our new car so we could get on the road. That is going the extra mile. I will be coming back in the future.

Purchased a vehicle that you didn't even have! Lied for two days explaining you couldn't find the vehicle! We added a loan to our name ruining our credit without actually getting a vehicle! Tony Gates didn't a terrible job trying to make things right making us feel stupid for getting upset trying to say it wasn't even his fault! Tried getting us to purchase something we didn't even want after this all happened and would never man up to their mistake! Really disappointed with his efforts to make his customers happy will never recommend anyone to bountiful! Thanks for getting us into our "vehicle" that we actually don't get even with purchasing it and giving us a $40,000 loan without a vehicle and ruining our credit! Thanks Tony Gates!

What an amazing experience I had!!! I'm so grateful to have met both my salesperson Anthony and my financial agent Aaron. They were wonderful! I so appreciate Anthony's patience and kindness in helping me leasing my first car, the Rav4. I've never been very fond of sales agents in general, because most show a fake kindness and their ulterior motive for the commission comes through so strongly, making people feel pushed and coerced, but Anthony was genuinely kind, nice, concerned, and helpful. He also was very knowledgeable and professional. He truly went above and beyond his duty to make it a beautiful experience for me. An awesome guy! Aaron was very patience with my lack of organization in turning in the documents needed and he always showed so much empathy and kindness. I'm so grateful to both to have provided me with such an awesome experience. I'll recommend both and the Bountiful Toyota to everyone. Thanks! :)
I would be cautious
I would be very careful using this dealership. I called about on Audi they had for sale and was told it sold a couple hours earlier. Then saw the same car almost a week later but the price had increased. My husband at that point called and was told again the car had just sold. So I decided to call the guy I originally talked to and see what was going on. I was then told the car was in the shop. Then I asked why the price increase if the car was in the shop. I was told for every fix they are doing the price will continue to increase. I am not sure what the truth is but it seemed a little off to me. So just wanted to warn anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from them to be a little cautious.

The guys there are great they try their best to give you the best deal possible. They look out for you and want to make sure that you are taken care of they Mia should feel more family then just a plain customer. I bought one new car from toyota bountiful and loved it. I loved the experience so much i went back there a little over 6 months later and bought another brand new car. Marko my car salesman was amazing both times he treated me with care. Understood what i needed and honestly was helping me. Then my finance person weston bird was great helping me understand paperwork and getting through things in a timely manner. Everyone recognized me every time i went in there and truley cared about me. Theyre great at toyota bountiful.
Sub-standard service
It all started on the 1st of Aug when my wife brought her 2013 Scion FRS in because the rear spoiler had started to detach from the body. They said it was under warranty and would be no problem to replace. 3 weeks later we hadnt heard anything so we called back to find out they had forgotten to order the part. No big deal, it happens; but apparently it was a clear demonstration of how things are run there. Today we take her car in for an appointment at 1210, for which they said the service would take 3-4hrs. Obviously it doesnt take 3-4hrs to replace a spoiler, so again, we start to see the cracks in the foundation of this business. We get a call 3hrs later saying that our spoiler was not factory and they would not replace it. We are the original owners and bought the car from a Toyota dealer so that part is a little frustrating. How did it take a month for them to realize its not a Toyota part? This should have been figured out on the first of August. Then they proceed to tell me that we can pick the car up along with the spoiler. Im confused because surely they did not take the spoiler off prior to figuring out they had the wrong part. Clearly they did, but they tell me they will put the spoiler back on as it was when we brought it in. An hour and a half goes by and I receive no phone call or anything. My wife and I have already been waiting for 6hrs for our car and I cant take it anymore so I give them a call. They tell me my cars been ready and I can pick it up whenever. Great, only an entire Saturday wasted (unless you count the entire month) and nothing gained. I get to the car and look at the spoiler and what do you think I find? It is barely stuck on at all. When I brought it in, there was maybe 4 inches of the side that was coming up, now half of the spoiler is hanging by a thread! I cant drive this car on the highway for fear that it will fly off! So now, not only has my time been wasted, but Toyota of Bountiful actually made my car worse by bringing it in. I really can not believe how disappointing our experience with Toyota of Bountiful has been.UPDATE: After posting this review and contacting the service manager they have tried their best to correct their errors. The service department was very apologetic and helpful in trying to get the problem fixed.

Customer Service and Communication Need Work
Although I appreciate all of the hard work that was put into this deal, I still do not have a good overall impression with Toyota Bountiful. There was poor communication between sales and finance, and had I not checked the final numbers before signing the contract, I would have been paying more than what had been agreed upon.When I had proof that I was promised a different price, I could feel the anger of the sales and finance staff, and needless to say, I was not impressed. For the record, I was told that Toyota Bountiful has a "standing policy" to honor the lowest price quote by another dealer for an identical vehicle, plus an additional $250 discount. If this is true, hold them accountable and make sure you get what you're told. If I hadn't triple-checked, they would have gotten away without giving me what I was promised. What's worse is that my mother overheard salesmen in the hallway saying something to the effect of, "He's got an email and a voicemail, he's got us." Now, let me say a few things about the employees. Craig was a fantastic salesman. He's very straight-forward and honest, he is energetic and enthusiastic, and he is honest. Another employee told us, "I'm glad you're with Craig." Aaron, who handled our financing, was very honest as well, and although there were times I sensed frustration, and despite feeling like I was being pressured at times, he was one of the best finance managers that I have dealt with. Both Aaron and Craig withstood a lot of questions from me, but I like to consider myself a very informed buyer. I like to know exactly what I'm getting and how much it will cost me in the long run. For that, I appreciate everybody's patience and understanding. Being such a recent purchase (only 14 hours ago), it's difficult to rate how satisfied I am with the vehicle, but so far I love it. Waiting until the clearance event was a great decision, and I am excited to see how my first Toyota will perform. UPDATE: The dealership has spoken with me since I posted the initial review. Multiple employees have asked me nicely to change my review, and asked if there was anything they could do to make things right. But the problem is, what's done is done. When I asked them what THEY could do, there was never a solution offered. At that point, I offered advice on how situations like mine (and many others) can be prevented in the future. I appreciate Jon, the Customer Service Manager, reaching out to me, and thank him for taking the time to understand my frustration. Additionally, Auggie also vowed to address the issues of dishonesty, and I appreciate his understanding as well. But, unfortunately, my experience was like many others who have posted objective reviews on here, and I remain firm with everything I've said. My opinion remains unchanged solely because of the fact that the dealership exhibited absolutely no methods of service recovery aside from apologizing, which, as previously mentioned, neither changes nor fixes my experience.10/26/15 UPDATE: Several emails have now been ignored. Troy has not contacted me. I refinanced my vehicle through another lender and am cancelling my GAP insurance now. The GAP insurance start date was incorrectly entered by four days, and it's being treated as a minor mistake. Apparently the dealership can't even fill out paperwork professionally. All ratings downgraded to one star. Worst dealership in America.

Worst Car Dealership Experience I've EVER Had!!!!!
WORST DEALERSHIP EVER!!!! Hunter, Blade Marquis & Aaron are the worst team.They lured us in with a "we'll get a rock bottom deal" on August 31st. It was a little later, 7:30 pm, but we figured, we would at least give them a chance. We arrived about 8 pm. I took my son down the street to get something to eat, as he was hungry & by the time I came back, they were tag-teaming my husband about this stupid Nissan Murano. They had taken my keys to my car to "inspect" it for trade in. I repeatedly kept telling them we needed to discuss this, but every time I got up to attend my son, they were tag teaming my husband again. I repeatedly mentioned that my son had school the next day. They refused to let us leave until almost 11 pm! My husband foolishly signed a contract, as they were holding our keys hostage. We left without the car, because the tires on the car were racing slick bald & I felt that it would endanger my child's life to take it home. I admit I was in a very bad mood by then. On the way home, we discussed it & I let my husband know that the reviews on the Murano were not good & I was not comfortable in driving something that had a "rattle" in the front end. Tuesday morning, he called them first thing to tell them we didn't want the car. They had already listed my car for sale on their website. He let them know that we were not comfortable with buying this car or their financing techniques & we had also received a letter from the IRS (surprise, the ex claimed the kids too, so now we owe taxes from 2012!) & we wanted to work things out with them, as it would REALLY affect on how we could pay for a car. They refused to cancel the contract. My husband has spent the last 2 days trying to figure things out. He stated that he was willing to give them a second chance, if they could put us in something comparable for the same price. They agreed to this plan. They sold my car last night, even though we still have & the title. They told my husband this afternoon that if he did not surrender my car, they would have it repo'd while we were out of town, even if they had to break into our fenced yard to get to it.He went to the dealership tonight & was told he had to take the car. He admits he made a very foolish mistake. They have had him at the dealership tonight for over 2 hours now. They have nothing comparable, so he has to take the car.We will be spreading our story far & wide. I will be contacting Get Gephardt. I hope that you stay away from these shady guys. I wouldn't trust them not to sell their own grandmas.
Wionderful, no pressure experience
I have not always had good experiences with car dealerships (I know, shocking), but my experience at Bountiful Toyota was completely different. I felt that the sales staff was honest and open with us. We were not interested in arguing over pricing and neither were they, which we truly appreciated. We experienced courteous and professional service from sales and financing personnel, which made this car buying experience smooth and painless!

Dishonest or incompetent - not sure which
I set up an appointment to get my Toyota appraised to sell. I was given a trade-in offer. I thought it over and decided to trade-in my RAV4 for a new Prius to take advantage of a good sale price. Then, after telling them the car I wanted, I was told that my first trade-in offer was a mistake. They somehow overestimated the value of my car by 3,500!! Either that's dishonest, or incredibly and incompetently lazy. I scheduled a 30 minute appointment for the sole reason of getting the RAV4 appraised and they were off by 3,500!! Give me a break. In reality, I'm sure they "over-offered" on a trade-in because they planned on skimming several thousand off the top of whatever car I traded for. But then when I researched a good sale they were advertising and picked a car that wasn't in their favor they decided that "oops, we didn't properly appraise your car the first time." I'll take my business elsewhere now and in the future. And I'll make sure my extended family does the same.

My friend recommended me to go to Toyota Bountiful and specifically to request for Anthony, since he had helped him as well in the past. I'm so grateful to have gone to him. Our sale agent Anthony was wonderful to say the least. I was in the middle of relocating to that new town, new job, new neighbors etc, and the overwhelming feeling that comes with moving was a huge factor in my decision of buying a new car. I kept debating if I was doing the right choice, at the right time and with the right car. Anthony was so patient and kind. I never once felt pressured to do anything. If anything I felt reassured and at peace with every decision I made about my choice of car. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable. The experience was good. Ian was very professional and good to work with. I felt like Ian was trying to help me feel comfortable with the purchase and help me get the best deal possible. I did not appreciate when Auggie came out at the end and wanted to muscle me over $8. I mean, really. I am spending 30 grand and you wanna dicker over 8 bucks. Anyways, the rest of the experience was very pleasant and Ian is a fantastic salesman and really earned his paycheck.
Breath of fresh air.
Our salesman Marko was great. we told him what we were looking for and showed us the vehicles that fit our needs. He did not tell us what we wanted could not be bought for the price range we were looking at and found two nice cars in our price range. We checked around a lot and these guys were 2 or 3 thousand cheaper. Our new 2014 had 17k on it and was priced at what other dealers wanted for 2012's with double that milage or more. Weston explained the advantages of the extended warranties and made the financial end enjoyable. We want to thank both for a great experience and would reccomend them to all our friends. Jay Lenker

Exceeds Expectations
Found a used 2014 Sienna online and was personally contacted by Jesse who offered to help in any way he could. I decided to bring my family to check it out at the dealership and we were surprised at how accommodating and friendly everyone was. Jesse answered all our questions and never tried to sell us something we didn't come looking for. We decided quickly and the staff at Toyota Bountiful were very helpful in getting rates within our budget. We did have to wait a bit longer to go into the financing stage than we would have liked, and our kids were getting a little tired, but overall the experience was positive.

From the moment I was greeted, I was treated like I was a part of the Toyota family. All of my requests and desires were met with great enthusiasm and optimism. I purchased a used vehicle from TB over the weekend, and it's rare I will give anyone a review unless the service was really good or really bad. In this case, TB was REALLY GOOD! I was pleasantly surprised at how personable and upfront my sales person was, not one of those hotshot high-pressure salesmen that everyone hates. The process was relatively smooth and I was out the door in less than three hours which I appreciate - no one likes sitting at a dealership for a whole day just to buy a car so that was nice. They got me better financing interest rate than I had already lined up when I got to the dealership. The vehicle itself was immaculate, they did an excellent job of cleaning it and making sure it was ready to rock-n-roll when I bought it. I will most definitely work with these guys again when I am in the market for another vehicle. I highly recommend them to anyone who is sick of the old-school automotive sales tactics, it was a welcome change working with Toyota Bountiful. Thanks again!

I had a car I was looking for at the dealership. Everyone was friendly and willing to help, and soon found the car I was interested in. Jose, Cameron, and Weston were all great to work with. Excellent customer service, and very willing to help you.
Great Financial Officer
Service department is awesome. Buying a car was made simpler by the Finance Manager, Cameron. The salesperson was mentoring another and was not doing a good job of it, he was dismissive and uninformative. His service to us, the customer, was lacking tremendously. We discussed all of our issues with Cameron, and he apologized. By the time we picked up our car, the salesperson decided to become informative regarding the features of the car. Would not use this same salesperson again, mostly due to his treatment of his trainee, and his lack of follow through and disinterest. Do not believe this is the attitude of Toyota, and perhaps the salesperson was having a very busy, or day full of events we had no idea about. Would still go back to Toyota Bountiful, and would recommend to friends.

Well I had Todd Sowell. He made sure he did everything he could to make my car buying experience was perfect. He let me test drive a few cars to see which one I liked the most. Worst car buy/lease experience EVER!!!!
From start to finish not one thing went right. 1. They had to ship the vehicle from another dealership I waited a week and half to get the vehicle and it was delivered to me without my one "deal breaker" 2. They tried not once but twice to get me to accept a much lower quality vehicle for the same price I agreed to pay for the higher quality vehicle I thought I was getting. Then they tried to get me to pay more for a vehicle that did have everything I originally asked for. 3.When they finally did find the correct vehicle they moved the lift and tires I ordered from the "wrong" vehicle to my vehicle. (I was later told by their service manager that this should never had been done and a new lift should have been ordered for the new vehicle) 4. Once I did get the right vehicle with all the correct options I requested I drove it for 3 days before a bolt on the drivers side front wheel fell out because when they were switching the lift someone forgot to tighten the bolt correctly. Very lucky for me I was backing out of my driveway when I found it rather than driving on the road. 5. When they came to fix it they brought the wrong bolt and had to borrow my rental car they brought to me so they could go get the right one 6.The sales people promised to call me back and never did. 7.After telling me they wouldn't they sent me a bill for the first "wrong" vehicle 8.They told me they were going to give me a polysteel kit and never did 9. They were supposed to mail me my license plates but mailed them to the dealership instead. 10.My license plates were supposed to be Arches and I got Skier Not one department spoke to another. No one knew what anyone else had already done. Every sales person I spoke to blamed everything on someone else. The General Manager was more helpful than the sales people but I walked away feeling like he didn't care much how bad his dealership messed up. The experience was so bad I actually took the time to write a long letter to Toyota and mailed it to their complaints office in CA. and I took the time to write reviews and fill out all the surveys they sent me. This is saying something since I am not usually the type to fill out the surveys or write a letter unless the experience was amazing and I want to give kudos to someone.
Great cust service, good value
We kind of knew what we wanted/needed. Our sales rep,Craig Vierig, had the car we wanted to look at ready for us to test drive upon arrival. After a short discussion we were able to make things work out which was great, because to be honest we hate the car buying process so this went very well for us. Craig was extremely courteous to us and got us in and out fairly quickly, which considering it was a Saturday was great.

Horrible customer service/ ignorance
Every time I deal with the service department something goes wrong. They either can't find my information or they don't know what I'm talking about. They don't know how to do there job. Can't fix problems I have with my brand new car. They are rude and quite frankly stupid.

Made the impossible happen
Ian Urry was the one that helped us get a new car. He was nice, funny, and it was easy to tell he was doing everything he could to get us a good deal. You see, we had been going between all the dealerships in the area to try and trade-in our SUV for a minivan (we needed a bigger vehicle, but could not sacrifice our budget too much).Turns out Ian found us a good deal for a newer vehicle than we had previously imagined, and for a decent price too! I am glad I came here, because no other dealership in the area even gave us a chance like this dealership, everywhere else was waaaaay too expensive for some reason, making it literally impossible to get a minivan. Thanks Ian!

Unfortunate experience
Unfortunately my 80 year old father made his way from his care center to the dealer, and although his driving privileges have been revoked by the state (medical reasons), this dealership sold him a car anyway (in Utah, you don't have to have a valid drivers license to buy a car). So 2 hours later when we found him at his facility where he lives with a new car, and took him back to the dealership, they refused to cancel the sale - and legally I guess they can do that. Dealing with aged people, you hope for understanding - we did not get any compassion. Lesson learned.
