Keith was a great sales person for Town East. He was professional, knowledgeable and respectful of my time. He kept me informed all through the sales process. Even after the sale was made, he took additional time to answer all of my questions and made certain all of my concerns were resolved. it's people like Keith that make the car buying process a joy instead of a chore.

The dealership made sure to address any issues I had with financing and my purchase. Warranties were offered that provided great protection and nearly everyone was courteous. I did not care for the music choice and Jimmy (sales manager) tried to fast talk me instead of just answering my questions. Other than that, I had no issues. The service crew was very helpful as well.

The people that work here from the sales staff to the manager are rude, unprofessional and deceitful. If you are unwise enough to buy a base model car for a luxury price or to reject your pre-approved financing with your credit union/bank and accept their higher APR, or pay a needless downpayment that goes straight into their pocket, than this is the place for you. Save your time and your money and go to another Ford dealerships!

I originally got my car repaired for collision damage. IT was not done right..the Exterior Strip was coming off of the car and had to take it back not once..not twice...but THREE times to get it repaired.the Right Way.The first time I took car back, The service guy Zach Preddy just basically popped off the exterior strip himself and realigned it and sent me on my way. I did not feel this should have been procedure, as Zach is not a body shop man so he was just basically winging it. I gave him the benefit of the doubt thinking okay maybe it is a super easy fix and left. He said if it comes off again, he would order a new part. I came back to the store again about 20 mins later..the strip seemed loser on one side of the car, while the other side had no give and was much tighter seal. I could hear wind coming in on the looser side so I felt like it was not repaired right and could possibly pop off again. He sat there and argued with me...that he wont order another part..when this strip is not defective. Well..I queried, Why did it pop off in the first place IF its not defective then?? . He was very dismissive of me...and was lazy in my opinion. He still did not even take the car back to the service guys to let them take a look since they are the experts. ?He Refused to order a new strip for the car. I explained that I was taking a Cross Country Trip soon in this car...and DID NOT want to take chance that the strip comes off again. He did not seem to care..only telling me that there was no wind coming in...again arguing with me about it. I offered him my Keys to let him see for himself..There is definitely wind coming in on that side of the car..but he sat there and tried to make me feel stupid and would not drive the car. I left and let him know that if the strip came off again..my husband would be back with the car and he would NOT be happy about it. Well.. four days later my husband had to take the car back...when the Strip came off yet again. I was right..it WAS DEFECTIVE.I called and talked to a MGR. as I was done dealing with Zach. I let the mgr know we Must have a new strip ordered...before we leave town. And if this had been done...when I originally had asked to have it done..if Zach had listened instead of Argued...we would not be having this conversation. This Dealership should Really teach its employees like Zach to LISTEN to their customers. And if they are not good LISTENERS..then they need to find a new job.

My fiance and I were in the market for a new F150 King Ranch (specific), so I began to search online. I found one that matched our preference and submitted an inquiry online. To my surprise it was answered almost immediately my Andrew Fisher. We made an appointment for 4 days later (Andrew was never pushy). We went out and met with Andrew and had an awesome experience. Andrew not only showed us the truck he "taught" us about how well made it was. We didn't get the King Ranch due to the terms but Andrew found us a F150 Lariat that is absolutely beautiful. Andrew doesn't know it but to get my fiance to change his mind once he has his mind set on something is no small task. Needless to say the overall experience was phenomenal and we feel in love with Andy (that's what we now call him). If ever in the market for another vehicle we'll be headed back to talk with Andy. Andrew Fisher/Town East Ford you rock!!!!

I am very thankful that Town East Ford went out of their way to help me! If you ever need a vehicle ask for Juan G he will help you and guild you in the right direction.

I couldn't get my truck out of park. I researched this before taking it in for service and knew I it needed a part that cost at the most about $130. The service department told me I had to have the entire gear shift mechanism replaced. I argued with them and argued with them and told them I researched this before I brought it to them and I told them they were flat out lying to me. It ended up costing me almost $1000 to get my truck fixed instead of maybe $300. They totally ripped me off. I have nothing good to say about this dealership and I will never ever buy a vehicle from them or go to their service department. I will go to a different dealership which is a little further away. They ought to have their dealership license revoked for all the scams they pull.

These guys are great! I've always wanted a truck. Of course, not just any truck, but a Ford F-150. I was greeted by a friendly salesman who wasn't pushy, but who found me exactly what I wanted (which is always great when car shopping). I told them how much I could spend, what I wanted in a truck, and they made it happen. Within just a few hours, I drove off in my beautiful 2015 Ford F-150. These guys made my dream come true. If you are in the market for a truck, please go see them! They are knowledgeable about the product, friendly, and very helpful when it comes to financing! Trey and William- thanks for all of your help! I will definitely be back here to purchase my next vehicle.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Sam Rushing and his team. I inquired about a new 2016 F-150 Lariat 4x4 online. Sam contacted me within minutes and was extremely knowledgeable. Soon after speaking with Sam, I took the short drive out to Town East Ford from Dallas. Sam was able to have my Trade appraised very quickly and I was offered an amount well above fair value! After working out all the details, I was driving my new truck home that evening!I have to say that this was one of the easiest, most pressure free and enjoyable buying experiences I've ever had. Sam's level of Customer Service is unmatched. He made the whole process very comfortable and puts you at ease in a situation that can be very stressful at times. It was also very nice to have a salesman who truly enjoys his job. You can tell that Sam is genuine and really has a passion for selling Ford cars and trucks. His positivity is infectious!! I wouldn't be surprised to see Sam as the next New Car Manger! Maybe even the GM at Town East Ford in the coming years!I also had the pleasure of working with a few other people I would like to mention. During my time with Sam, he had a trainee that was shadowing, his name was Johnny, aka "Tiny". Tiny wasn't so tiny, he also made a very large impact on my experience. Tiny was only a few weeks into his new position at Town East but he could have easily fooled me. He had a very professional and welcoming vibe to him. He showed true interest in getting to know me as a person rather than just a car buyer. He too also had a very positive attitude and strong focus on Customer Service. The last person I would like to mention is Mr. Ozay Jones in the Business Center. Mr. Jones handled all the organizing and finalizing of the finance for my purchase. He too was a great example of excellent customer service. He took the time to listen to my needs as a driver and made appropriate recommendations to help extend the lifetime of my new truck. Mr. Jones also made the "Paperwork" section of purchasing a new vehicle smooth, easy and a quick.Overall this was an absolutely wonderful experience. I will be taking all my future business to Town East Ford. As a local business owner myself, with over 200 employees, I understand the importance of having great people on your team. People who truly believe in making the customers experience the best it can be. People who make it look easy and unscripted. Town East Ford has succeeded at this with these 3 gentlemen.Thank you to Sam, Tiny, Mr. Jones and Town East Ford for the wonderful experience. You WILL see me again.

Extremely friendly and knowledgeable sales people. We wanted to purchase a pre owned SUV, I went with my wife and kids, Juan was awesome he made my girls laugh and acknowledged them. He pointed out a lot of features I wasn't aware of and we went with it. Financing was easy we had an approval that they beat with their financing. We had a few questions about the purchase and Emilio answered everything and was very professional. I'm a manager in sales and this is exactly how I would have asked to be treated. After everything was all done I received a call from Juan asking if everything was going well, and if we had any additional questions. The follow up confirmed I made the right choice in dealership. After this experience I won't do business anywhere else.

My previous experience with Town East Ford was less than favorable. so I was kind of leery coming in. This time around, the moment I drove on the lot I connected with a great salesperson, Jonathan Toles. Hard to believe it was his first day with Town East Ford! Jonathan made my car buying experience worth it. I told him what I was looking for and he delivered exactly that. Jonathan explained every feature on the vehicle and he accompanied me on the test drive. He answered all of my questions making sure I understood every detail. If you are considering a new vehicle purchase, consider Town East Ford and be sure to ask for Jonathan. Osay and Terry were great as well. They are part of the finance team who worked with me to get me into my new vehicle. Special shout out to two more terrific team members: Brad Collins and David "Boston"!

I have updated this review since publishing. Originally gave a 2 star rating because no one reads the 1 and 5 star ratings unless they are happy or mad. The in-between are typically the real stories, so I am changing it to a 4 because they did make a strong effort to make things right. They corrected the concerns I had and made me feel better about taking my GT there again. I had also mis-titled a person involved as district service manager when the real title is Service Director. Back in November I purchased a used, 2015 Mustang GT. It had ~1900 miles on the clock. I noticed a squeaking noise coming from the driver side front suspension area shortly after purchase. It is to be noted I purchased this vehicle on a week where it was constantly raining, I assumed the squeak had something to do with that... it didnt. I took it to Town East Ford after a month or two to do an oil change and to find out where this noise is coming from. However during that visit they found "nothing". I had also inquired about not receiving a driver side floor mat that was to be included, a secondary key, and spare tire, as well as issues I had with Sync 2. My sales guy had informed me to ask service for a key and mat that was supposed to come with the car, however if you purchase a non certified car, these items may not come with the vehicle, mine was probably a "repo". I also asked for a spare because it did not come with one, so I inquired about it, most vehicles as I found out later do not get a spare unless specified. I ending up leaving that visit with just the oil change. (I have all service records available for each visit). No answer for the missing items, and the noise was ignored. I just thought I was being picky, so I left it alone, but I ended up coming back shortly after for the same issues and Sync 2 was not working. Finally, Sync was fixed and again, squeak was not fixed. In April I took my car back again. This was the visit when they started trying to repair the squeak which didn't work. I brought it back at another point a week or so later, problem was not fixed... once again. They had replaced multiple parts at this point. Then per my Service Advisor, Ford told Town East Ford to stop trialing and error'ing on the squeak issue on my car. He stated if they put on another part that did not fix the issue, Ford could sue them. Why was this my problem? I dont know. But I held off. May comes around, and I need a new oil change at ~7500 miles. Oil change done, and they take another try at the squeak. Well problem was not solved and at this point I've been in 2 different rental vehicles, both inappropriately charged to Ford for warranty work instead of my MPP plan. Why is this a problem? You are limited on the days you can have a rental with Ford supposedly, and guess what, they are used up... at 8k miles... so then late May I took it back again, received a 3rd rental vehicle that was charged correctly. This time the dealer fixed the original issue of the squeak, but (as I later found) broke the backing plate. Original problem was a bad bushing. I took it back one week aftet the repair and showed them the noise of the plate scraping the rotor (I didnt know what it was until later). The Service Director came out, told me it was a common noise made by the brakes due to the constant pressure being applied and had me drive a new red 5.0 to see if it made the same noise. I told him the noises were not the same, he stated they were and we parted ways shortly after, I was determined to get it fixed though. Now the backing plate is not a critical part, but it was an issue, maybe not big enough for them to fix that day, but it was scraping my rotor, and they broke it without owning up to it initially. I ended up having to take my car to Randal Reed's Prestige Ford, and the problem was fixed that day in about a half hour to an hour. These were legitimate mechanical issues I had, and it would have been nice to have that care and customer service I recieved after writing this review from the beginning. We are all humans though, and like I stated above they did own up to their mistakes as a company through Kevin Miner.

I had the best Sales Consultant I've ever purchased a car from. I was in a bind needing to purchase a new car unexpectedly. I never felt any pressure or uncomfortable in purchasing a new car. Austin with Town East Ford really listened to my needs and gave me the best deal and with the right monthly payments. They were very attentive and quick. I was in and out of there within 2 and half hours on a Saturday, shortest time its ever taken me to purchase a car. I will recommend Austin Tillison and Town East Ford to all my family and friends looking to purchase a vehicle. I will be back again for my next car purchase.

went in buy new car had $16,000 dollars cash for down on $30.450 dollar car. managers changed advertised price 3 times and actually would bring in paper work with the price change buried among the changes. called me all but a liar. fiance manager said i could not qualify on the ford 1.9 rate which was a bold face lie. i was already pre approved at two other ford dealer ships. this all occurred between 2pm and 5pm may 27,2016 held up 3 hours with conning managers and out right would lie about what they said. do not go to this dealer ship no integrity in my opinion !!!!!!by the way i purchased an upscale of the same vehicle at 5 star ford with 1.9 interest rate with same down $16000 , yes i did qualify , yes i got a better price, yes i got leather , auto lift gate power seat yep and upgraded version and with no untruthful sales manager (4) to deal with. did all this same day may 27, 2016 after driving over to an honest dealer ship with honest sales person and i did not have unscrupulous finance management and ? supposed sales management changing numbers and being deceptive in my opinion.this is how i was treated and is my opinion based on i got a better equipped vehicle with exactly the same offer i made to town east ford on the same day and drove vehicle home the same day.

We've purchased our last three vehicles from Presley Wickam at Town East Ford. He always made us feel like family and has never steered us wrong. When there is a problem, they do everything humanly possible to fix it. I bought a "16 Explorer Sport Dec. 26, and it went into the shop mid February. Robert Szyka and the rest of the service department always made me feel like my car was their top priority. He called frequently with updates and to let me know that they were working on it even if he didn't have any news. Ford paid for a rental, and when I complained that my rental was lame, they arranged for a better rental immediately. Ford sent all of their experts to Mesquite to trouble shoot my Explorer, and when they finally gave up after 2 months, they agreed to buy it back. No lawyers or threats of lawyers needed; Ford did the right thing. I can't overstate what a great team this dealership has!

Although our sales associate was excellent, the moment we talked to a sales manager things took a turn for the worst. Price skyrocketed quickly from what we saw online. The cheaper model was mysteriously "gone" and our only choice was the more expensive one. We sat through talking to 5 layers of sales staff trying to get us to buy a vehicle that day although none of them were willing to get the price down to what we initially were told they could get us.HUGE waste of time, if you're shopping here there are 20 other options in the DFW metroplex. Find one and go there.

We purchased our new F-150's from Presley. Presley is one of the best sale people we have ever worked with. When we need a car, new or used, he is our first call. We have bought other places due to a large gap in the pricing or financing but always return to Presley when the need arises. We have paid slightly more on occasion just to do business with him. Bottom line, if it's close then Presley gets our business. The Business Manager, Lance Smith, also did a great job. He explained all of the financial details in a manner that was easy to understand. He made the process fun and was a pleasure to work with.Overall the dealership has been very good to us and they have serviced our cars well.I highly recommend Presley, Lance and the Dealership in general.

I've never been one who writes many reviews (good or bad), but I couldn't miss an opportunity to share what a great experience I had with Trey Moody at Town East Ford. I'll admit, I did not have high expectations. My fiance and I had previously worked a deal over the phone with a dealer in Grapevine, but after making the 3 hour drive we found out we'd been lied to about the price of the vehicle and the offer for our trade. We'd nearly lost all hope of finding a good deal and an honest dealership. We found similar deals advertised by Town East. Our salesman, Trey Moody, worked non-stop to ensure that we got the deal that we asked for (on our trade and the new F-150 we purchased). Trey was very patient and listened to our needs. He was genuine, trustworthy, and personable, and I will recommend him to anyone I know looking to buy a new Ford vehicle. Trey sent over all the details of the deal we worked in writing (without question) before we made the 3 hour drive back to the DFW area - in my search for a new truck, I was surprised at how many sales people and dealerships are hesitant to do this. When we arrived, everything was exactly as promised - NO GAMES OR LAST-MINUTE SURPRISES. To say that Trey went above and beyond is a huge understatement. The dealership took great care to ensure that we were in and out quickly, as we had made the trip unexpectedly and needed to return home by the same afternoon. The truck was already prepped for delivery when we arrived, so after our test drive we had a short wait and then we signed our paperwork. In case I haven't been clear - I would definitely buy another vehicle from Trey at Town East Ford. - Jesse

First off, if I could give negative stars I would. I felt very pressured and ended up purchasing a vehicle I HATE!! Next, the way I have been treated after the purchase has been a joke. I tell everyone I come across not to purchase from Town East Ford and this is sad because Town East Ford is the first car dealer I remember going to and seeing my parents purchase a new family vehicle! Boy, am I disappointed now. When I was looking at purchasing a vehicle my father told me "do not go to Town East" and of course father knows best!! He told me his experience years ago has kept him from going back. Hind sight is 20-20! I will be looking at getting rid of the vehicle and I am also in the market for a new truck and I know one place I will not be going. You got it TOWN EAST FORD!!I know this post might go unnoticed by the ones that can make a difference or even care to make a difference. Since the last time my father bought a vehicle from Town East Ford was the first time I remember ever going to a car dealer. It's said Town East Ford had lost his business since the 80's. But what is the saying "it is, what it is"! Sorry for the rant but just very, very upset with my purchase.

Ive been through the car buying experience many, many times. Ive experienced great salesman, and not so great salesman. This gentlemen however, was literally the worst salesman I have ever came across. The was rude by cutting my off multiple times. He only allowed for a 2 min test drive. He was persistent one trying to get me to sign a credit release form (I already had a loan approved). When I told him I wasnt going to sign anything until I know the complete price, including the TT&L, then we would take the next step. Well he gave me attitude and finally said he will go get the numbers. When he came back, he showed me the asking price, but then included over 5k worth of accessories on the vehicle, and telling me not to worry about it. THEN, he kept asking how much my loan was for, which is irrelvant because we havent agreed on the price of the vehicle, especially after throwing all these extra costs in. I explained I did not feel comfortable at that point and that I was going to leave, I reached out my hand to shake and he ignored it.Worst Salesman Ever.

I have not bought a vehicle in over 10 years. After going to several places and getting my hopes up for disappointment every time. I figured i would give it one more shot. The prices at this dealership were much more reasonable than what I had seen in my month long search for a veicle. My salesman Andrew was very friendly and helpful. I got the exact vehicle (except for color but it was close) that I wanted with all the bells and whistles. After going home and thinking about the vehicle, He called to check on me and helped me decide what was right for me. He made me feel very comfortable that I could trust him. I returned to the dealership filled out the credit app and in less than 30 mins the vehicle was mine. He made it all go very easy. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone who wants a fast and friendly service on buying a vehicle and at the right price! Thank you to all who helped getting me into my ford truck! I was playing phone tag with a few other dealerships and was getting discouraged. I was immediately impressed with Thomas O'Doherty. This salesman was friendly and knowledgeable! (Not my usual experience with car salesmen) We discussed my options and walked me, a first time buyer, through each step. The finance process is very intimidating for a FTB with poor credit, but he helped guide me though it! I drove away in a Ford that weekend. I've already referred friends/family to him and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. My boyfriend bought a car from him last week!

First I would love to thank you thomas for making it clear to me that when buying your car you never get what you want. Your boss should be real proud of you you practically opened the door for me to leave that ridiculous place you call employment I had 2500 dollars in your pocket ready to get my fiance the beautiful car she wanted I was even going to accept the bs of 18% because nate had suggested to take the price of the vehicle down due to the fact whoever your internet sales are cant even put up correct information. But then you came along and ruined your companys opportunity of gaining a new client with your smart remarks about "its simple math" and "you will never get what you want" then tried to get me to sign a document that was not what we had agreed on. I feel bad for any person that doesnt know the difference and gets tricked into signing there hard earned money away to supposedly slick people like yourself. You were very rude and disrespectful to me and infront of my fiance and kids. Lucky they were there and then have the nerve to call my phone the next day asking for us to come back and see if we can work something out no sir you have lost my business now and probably will nevery buy from your location or any other company in business with yous. I hope you see this review and realize how much you need to change your attitude when speaking to people with there family oresent or even at all they have 100 other companies they could be at but they are there. Thats all have a good day. Nate you at least tried to help so I appreciate that.

I called the dealership to see if they had two cars I saw on this car.com app. The guy said they had one ready to test drive and available, and the other sold. I drove there immediately after the call to look at the car. As soon as I parked a man ran towards my car, and stood awkwardly until I came out then started questioning me immediately. (Not a fan). Went inside and met with the man I talked to on the phone, sat down and he asked me a few questions.. Then as he goes to get the keys he informs me the car I drove 40 minutes to come see sold earlier today. At this point I'm already irritated, but he wants to show me a similar model (not even the color I want) but I give it a chance. Go out to the car and the guy doesn't even ask for my license. I test drove the vehicle, asked a few questions and he didn't know anything. He is "new" and "doesn't know much about Ford". I'm sorry, wait.. You work for a Ford dealership, I called prior to let you know what kind of car I want to see, and yet you know nothing. Once the drive was over he pressured me to go inside and tell His boss/manager why I'm leaving.. He didn't want his boss "to think he messed up". SO UNPROFESSIONAL, very disappointed. Don't waste your time like I did!!! The entire office area smells awful, like smoke.. I guess most workers are smokers. The man even chased me outside after I said goodbye. THE WORST.

We came to Town East to purchase two vehicles; however, after providing all our money our trade ins haven't been paid off after 15 days. This is causing us to have four truck payments. Additionally, one of our vehicles had a crack in the sun visor and this was not recognized during the turn over of the vehicles. They have finally ordered the glass, but when we took the vehicle in for the repair (7 am) for a 4 hr job now our truck is still not complete at 5 pm. We were given a rental and told we would have to pay for gas. Additionally, the paperwork sent into our bank to finalize our loans and payoff our vehicles was incorrect. You wouldn't expect this from an established business, but this is the hassle we are getting from Town East. They are quick to want their money, but slow to finalize their paperwork to ensure you inquire anymore financial hardships. This has been a horrible experience and we will never do business with Town East again.

I have purchased a bunch of vehicles in my short life, but this dealer is by far the biggest scum of a dealer that I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with. I was there only to help a friend purchase a car as she has not purchased many cars and was afraid she would get taken advantage of. Well good thing I was there because they were going to try and take her for a ride. I had a bad feeling from the moment I pulled on the lot.. They surrounded my car like a bunch of VULTURES. I seriously took pictures of this because I have never seen it this bad. I just sat in my car waiting for my friend to get there and 3 different guys stood to where I couldn't back up. Needless to say I won on the wait and they finally went and suffocated someone else that pulled up on the lot.. Ok fast forward. My friend has had some credit issues, but she had a pre-approved car loan through a 3rd party finance. She talked to the bank numerous times and they told her all was good and that she just needed to take the packet in and the dealer would fill their part out and get the funding. She called Town East Ford and made sure they accepted the 3 party financing and was told, YES!! all the time!! Well over 2 hours latter, the rudest man I have ever met that supposed to be in customer service set there and bold faced lied to her. Said the finance company she had the approval through was now requiring a co-signer. I knew this was not true. Then he started badgering her for money down. What he was doing was trying to get her financed through them so he could get a kickback on the interest and also so they wouldn't have to pay a little bit of loan fees to do the loan through who she had financing through. I believe his name was Jimmy Hill or something like that. I put my friend on the phone with the approval bank, and the bank plain as day said no co-signer needed, no additional money down.. that everything was good to go with the loan.. He then came up with more BS to throw out of his mouth. I told her lets go, drove right down the road and got her a much nicer car, no issues at all using her pre-approved loan, and no BS issues like this dealer is all about.. I know now why they need to swarm a car when it pulls on the lot, because they have piss poor customer service, play bait and switch games, and tell you what you want to hear on the phone to get you in the door and then run your credit to 100 different banks... all when she already had a approved loan. You people are a poor excuse for a customer service oriented business. The lady that was helping us though, I wish I could remember her name, was super sweet and seemed like more of a messenger. You are to good to be there. You should go back to Richardson Dodge where you came from. Those folks seem much better out there when I dealt with them not long ago. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! DOES NOT MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE FAMILY(like it says on their website) Also says on their website "You and your needs come first! That's a joke.. I could go on and on.. but please, do NOT do business with these crooks. I know they are a Berkshire Hathaway group dealer.. I'm sure Warren Buffett would be ashamed to know your running this run down looking buildings right into the ground.. Good night! and Good riddance.

Let me first start by saying that I understand that accidents are apart of life. As such, there will always be used cars with a history of repairs. I have no problems with these cars as long as everyone is honest. Honesty is NOT the first word that comes to mind when I think of Town East Ford. I was all set to sign for a 2012 mustang (one with clean car fax and auto check) when a form was placed in front of me to sign regarding "minor dent" repairs. Upon reading the document I realized the repairs were actually to fix body work that was damaged as a result of a t bone collision! At first I couldn't understand why both car fax and auto check reported the car as accident free. Then I realized the repairs were only a month old. This wasn't enough time to update on either company's records. The manager of course claimed he had no idea but I call BS. The repairs were made in house so of course they knew! Let this be a lesson to all (myself included). Don't trust car fax or auto check. Get a mechanical AND body inspection. $100 now will save thousands in the long run.

I had the worst experience with this dealership. i would never do business with this dealership again. The salesman and manager both lied to be about returning the car. All they were concerned with his getting the deal funded and getting their commission. The service department was great....They gave me excellant customer service. They did everything to handle my problems. I just wish i could say the same about the sales dpt.

My husband purchased a vehicle several months ago and did not give the dealership a 5 star rating. We returned to upgrade the vehicle and we're denied service because of his poor review of the dealership. Wow. Ready to buy but refused. Unbelievable that a dealer would not own up to there mistake then tr y to make it better. Is this discrimination

I searched websites and found a good price on a Ford Fusion. The salesman was excellent. The issues began when I was brought back to sign paperwork. My wife and young daughter waited in the showroom for me. While waiting, the sales staff gathered for a meeting in the showroom. The leader of that meeting used profanity and made a seal connotation in which my teen daughter overheard. Meanwhile, while working thru the paperwork, no respect was given to my wishes. High pressure for me to sign up for life insurance, warranties etc continued even after I said no. Also, in the next cubicle over, employees were busy tossing paper at each other. What an experience.

FIRST THEY GET NO STAR!I went to purchase a new car based on their internet price.I called and spoke to their internet salesman and I told him I wanted to buy the car and had $2000.00 dollars cash, it was for my 17 year daughter.I drove 2 hours and meet with a team of sales counselors who back tracked, wasted my time and absolutely lied about their specials and prices. They even told the car listed on the internet was no longer available and was considered a "GHOST CAR" While I had the VIN # and found it parked in the front parking lot of the dealership. Whoops Town East Ford, I guess you should hide them better. The car Listed for $17,452.00 on the internet they refused to go below 19,901.00. We actually sat down and shook on the $17,500 price and said I am ready to buy it now?The still RENEGED!a very dishonest dealership and not transparent dealership. If you want to be tricked, lied too and how your time wasted go to TOWN BIG EAST, they are great at this task.By the way I went to Elloitt Ford and got a Ford with more, the next level up for $18,000.00 very friendly, very honest and very transparent.NEVER NEVER GO THERE!

My wife bought a new (to Her) Ford Fiesta. She decided that she wanted to take het car to the dealership for oil changes. I told her that the price they want is outrageous and a total waste, you can get an oil change for about a quarter of the price elsewhere. She started listing off all of the extras that Ford does including tire rotation, so I relented. Fast forward a year and we are driving down the road and her low air light comes on, I go to top off the air and notice that the front tires are completely bald down to the nubs, but the back tires look brand new. I tell her about it and say she needs to make sure her tires are getting rotated because Town East is ripping her off. She goes today to get he oil changed and ask about why her tires are not being rotated. She is told that they were rotated and this is some form of rapid wear, they cant rotate them now due to the "rapid wear" and she must get new tire for seven hundred and eighty dollars.

I had work done on my car last week at Town East Ford and I want to think everyone, especially Terry Harding, for a great job. When I left the lot, I felt like I was driving a new car. It was so broken, dirty and old looking when I brought it in. It was just beautiful when I left. Everyone was so incredibly professional and courteous. Since I'm not working right now, I was worried about the repair costs. Terry was attentive to my problem and made me feel like an important customer. I could tell right away that he was knowledgeable about cars, but I also had trust and confidence that he would fix what needed to be done. He also provided information covering preventative things that should be attended to soon to keep my car healthy and to keep me safe. Thanks again to Terry and to everyone else involved in taking care of my car.

I would like to take a moment to give recognition to David , Craig , and Shane, for being such wonderful Sales Consultants and Business Managers for Town East Dealership. We purchased our 2015 Ford Edge car on Friday May 1, 2015 and when my husband and I went to the sales office to meet David we were pleasantly surprised by the warm and friendly greeting we received from him. We didnt have a lot of time, because my husband was getting ready to go back to California on Sunday May 3, 2015 so we needed to get the purchase of our car decided and we needed the sale handled expediently and David, Shane, and Craig were able to get our needs met. We had already looked at over a dozen SUVs at other dealerships last week so we came in knowing what we were looking for. David worked tire sly to help me with the selection of my car and we were successful in finding me a vehicle. Also, he worked endlessly to help me get everything that I wanted in my car. Shane helped us negotiate a reasonable price for the sale of my car to help keep the monthly price within our budget. In our conversation with David, Shane and Craig, we noticed that it wasnt about making a sale and getting our money that they were concerned with. They were concerned with making us happy and getting us what we wanted for our car at a reasonable price. I was blown away by the amount of professionalism, and courtesy that was displayed by David, Shane and Craig. My family and I were treated with the dignity and respect that we deserved. We felt welcome in the dealership from the moment we walked in the building. Shane, David, and Craig, displayed an exceptional attitude, outstanding work ethic, and extraordinary ability to handle the sale and purchase of my car. Craig did an outstanding job showing me how to work the different features in my car and he linked my phone to my car so that I can speak through the car without even having my phone in the vehicle with me and I think that was awesome!! I have to say that in the competitive market of car sales these gentlemen stood out with their impeccable professionalism and their great attitude. So Im honored to tell you that David, Shane, and Craig exceeded our expectations, and went above and beyond to ensure that we received everything in their power to give us and helped us purchase our car in a timely fashion on May 1, 2015. So I just wanted you all at the Town East Dealership to know this. I will definitely be back to purchase another vehicle when the time comes and I will whole heartedly refer this dealership to anyone looking to buy, or lease a vehicle. Thank you, Have a great day!! Sincerely, Mrs. Aislin Gibbens

The 3rd time they changed the water something or other then charged an additional $700 AND STILL A LEAK. So, now I am out $1300 total, and in there for the FOURTH time to find out that it was a hose and would be finished in 25 minutes. The entire service department is INCOMPETENT and no refund whatsoever!!! You would think Ford would be able to service Ford vehicles, but no. The service manager did nothing.

I recently bought a Toyota tundra at this dealership. I have bought many cars from several dealers. The experience at town east ford in mesquite, Texas was the worst car buying experience I ever had. The managers are horrible. They don't treat you as a customer. They committed to a price and a financing option they signed, then The next day they completely changed the whole scenario. To all prospective buyers, please stay away from this dealer. They are not interested in retaining a customer. They just want to cheat a customer. They lack professionalism. They have a bunch of teenagers and inexperienced staff that deal with the buying experience. Do your homework and be prepared to deal with town east ford. My advise simply stay away

Big time rip off.....

My girl friend recommend this dealer ship so I went to buy a F150. I end up buying a 2012:King Ranch F150 in july 2014. It was a total rip off. On that day I traded my 2012 Acura car and I was asking how much they paid me for the car the used car sales manager told me it has been fully paid. So I trusted him and signed the paper work for the financial part with mr will. He told me that he is going to mail me all the paperwork I signed later so I thought he will send it to me.Two months past by no paperwork received so I went to the dealership to see him. He said me and ignored me and when I talk to him he said " im busy ill talk to you once I finish my work. I sat there for two hours finally he came and talk to me. I asked him where is my paperwork then he said we can't find your file and he said come back on Monday I will get your paperwork. So I called him on Monday at 11.00am to remind him that im coming to see him around 3.00pm. Finally I went there on time and talk to him he said the paperwork is next door so to wait that he will bring it to me. I waited one hour 15 minutes there was no sing of him. I went looking for him but he was no where to find. Finally he came and said still we cant find the paperwork let me reprint for you right now. He did reprint but not the ones I signed originally. He gave it to me and said keep this for you records as soon as I find the paperwork ill send it to you.I was so mad I went to see the boss mr.Kurt Jones and told him what happened. He spoke to two people one is the finance director mr.Paul and told them to find my paperwork so I gave my number to paul to let me know what's going on. Its been one week I never heard back from him. So I called him he said still he can't find the paperwork and one of the girls in account department had filed under 2012 and all the paperwork in the out side storage so they are still looking and give hime till Monday morning he will get me an answer. Today is Tuesday 23rd 2014 I never heard from him so I called boss Kurt Jones and left a message about what's going on. Few minutes later Paul called me and said that they are still looking and give hive another 24hours. Cos the file is not with the 2012 batch.I recommend no one to this dealership as they are crappie cheap business people. What they want is to rip you off and too much lies. P:S I saw the reprint of the paperwork and they paid me $3000 less to my car and this amount was added my my new F150 which I didn't know till I saw the reprint. Also the truck giving me problems engine light came up. I had to take to the shop three times before they fix it properly im talking 3 weeks time. Not good.last time I went and they gave me the truck everything was ok. I drove for few days I saw a oil cap was sitting on the hood next to the wiper blade arm. I took it out thinking someone had forgotten about it at my work. Luckily I open the hood and checked my oil cap and it was mine there was no oil cap in the filler and also the plastic cover on the top of the motor was not installed it was just sitting there so I look it back to the service and finally they fix it. I dont know what else going to come up. ...

Went to dealership for a Escape. My husband wanted a specific package. We were at the dealership a total of 6 and a half hours. The salesman was ok, but the the rest of the individuals we worked with were rude and condescending. We asked for our keys to leave and waited for at least ten minutes. No keys, the manager came out and offered my husband a better deal. I would have left, but he really wanted the vehicle. The whole process was unprofessional and took way too long. I have bought many cars and never been there more than three hours. Rude, unprofessional and take way too long. Came out with ridiculous offers over and over again. Don't go to this dealership.

These guys are unbelievable. I don't understand why they were not upfront with me when there is so much competition out there. I had a trade in plus 10 thousand dollars for a down payment plus my credit score is top notch. I thought I had enough credibility to get treated with enough respect to actually get a good deal. Apparently they thought I was an idiot and kept trying to haggle some rediculous prices and terms. I told them exactly what I wanted as far as price and terms go but they kept coming back with something different. I told them I didn't have enough time to waste with them and they could tell me no and I would be on my way, but the manager said it was a game we would have to play and eventually we would get there. Well four hours later nothing changed and they wouldn't give me my keys for car that I was considering to trade in. I told the salesman on four different occasions I wanted my keys so I could leave and he kept making excuses. I kinda felt bad for him because he was a nice guy and I felt like it was out of his control. Finally I got the keys and made a run for it. I wasted half of my day and got a headache to boot. They are good at getting you to stay for a long time, but I felt like the whole process was designed to wear me out so I would just surrender to their terms. Anyway I am going elsewhere tomorrow because another dealership has offered me a price of $10,000 dollars less for the same make and model which was way closer to the advertised price that I saw online earlier this week...... wish me luck!! I will give an update!!

Bad Experience - buyer beware

I went into Town East Ford based on a truck I found on Cars.com. I already had pre-approved financing from my Credit Union. Well, as I discovered, from my experience of contacting the dealership via Cars.com about the truck, I should not have even gone to the dealership. The person who contacted me via email said that I needed to show up as my presence is my power (in negotiating) a deal? When I arrived, he slipped me off to a very young (looked very inexperienced) salesman. The entire experience was horrific, as an educated consumer, we could have dome some of the negotiating via email? They were not ready to negotiate. At any rate, I asked many people where I work (this dealer is very close) about their experiences here...all had terrible experiences here. Luckily, I did NOT buy from them, nor would I ever go back there. I did find a truck (slightly used) at another dealership and bought it. It was a much better deal and I am satisfied. Town East Ford is a typical "vulture" type of sales tactics, and they seem to believe it works. I know there must be many people intimidated by car salesman, I am not one. This was not my first car purchase, not by a long shot. I feel sorry for people who still deal with these type of dealerships and accept it as the norm. Do your research, be patient when looking for a new or used vehicle, know what you want and know what you can afford, the tools are all free online, calculators, etc, etc, etc... Anyway, for several days after I left and had already purchased a different truck, their sales staff kept calling me, over and over again, terrible experience. One guy was very rude and disrespectful to me on the phone, telling me I did not give the dealership a chance? Uh, yes I did...by showing up and wasting my time on a Saturday.

My husband and I found out were pregnant, so we decided to trade in his car for a truck he wanted.First, when we went into the dealership to negotiate the truck he liked, the salespeople got into a semi-angry discussion over who was going to take the sale - it was extremely unprofessional, not to mention uncomfortable. Second, when it came time to finalize the details, we were visited by one of the gentleman from the finance department. This was normal, I know. What wasn't normal is the way he went through each item of our credit one by one, making little comments such as, "Oh the banks don't like to see that," or whispering confidentially, "So, what happened here?" Like most people, we knew our credit wasn't great, but having someone sit down like you're a toddler and list every mistake you'd ever made was embarrassing and left us both agitated and ready to leave.Third, we were upside down on our trade. We knew we would be, but it kept the payment out of our range and we didn't want to go higher. We decided it could wait. In order to save the sale, the "finance" guy decided we should KEEP the vehicle we had ($650/month) and simply buy the new one as an addition instead of a replacement - adding another $650 a month payment to our bills. So, I asked him how having a $1,300 a month vehicle bill would be better than going over our +/- $600 budget? He said that we wouldn't have the other payment if we sold the other car. "Exactly," I said, "if. The only guarantee is that we will have two payments due next month, and every month until the other car sells - if it sells.Fourth, the finance guy said that the answer to our problems was to trade in BOTH of our vehicles and get two new vehicles! This is, without a doubt, the WORST advice I've ever gotten. I told him as much, and he asked my why. I said, Because Ill have my car paid off in two years (which he knew) and youre telling me that because Im probably upside down in my car, that I should hide the negative equity in a new one that Ill be paying for four years after I would have paid mine off. And besides, Ill only be upside down if I actually sell it when the actual sale is realized. The guy just stared at me blankly.Fifth, when I (we) had enough, we asked for our keys back (to the trade). He kept asking us to put more and more down and wouldnt give us our keys. My husband was about to throttle him and I was ready to scream. The man was ridiculous. He absolutely destroyed any possibility of us ever buying a vehicle from there.

He was very informative and professional but most importantly, he wasn't pushy like most salesmen. We purchased my last vehicle, and several others previously with Gerald Whittington that have always been seamless, positive experiences. He and my husband Mark enjoy healthy, humorous bantor, and when a great deal became available at the dealership, he alerted us which resulted in my 2013 Edge with all the bells and whistles I've become accustomed to in my favorite color! Ours is a relationship built on trust, which is essential and greatly appreciated. Gerald and Town East Ford are key to our car-buying and servicing needs. Although we still fasten our seatbelts, with Gerald it's a smoother ride. Thank you!

I want to publically apologize to Jim Cole for all the bad internet reviews and I have given him and this dealership. He took over as service manager during an ongoing dispute between myself and them. I would like to believe he tried to settle it w/ the best of intentions so no one would come out of it feeling slighted. But I also understand he has to look out for the company he represents as well. In today's economy I do NOT wish for any compensational damage to any involved, outside of what has already been done during this difficult holiday season. He stood up and tried to have the best interest of both parties at heart in his final decision, and for that He earns my respect.

Stalkers. Always looking over your shoulder.

I noticed a used Explorer limited on cars.com. It only had 4 exterior pictures. The same 4 pictures were on there website. Why would they not post more pictures? I asked for more information before I came in but I did not get what I needed and then end result was that I was not interested. They continued to E-Mail me and I didn't get a chance to respond. Then they wrote the following "I noticed you are reading our email, but we have not received a reply from you." Seriously?! That was the last straw. That's way overbearing. That is like calling someone over and over again you are interested in dating and not giving them a chance to call back. I told them again what my thoughts were on it and I was not interested in doing business with them. The response was that they stood by there actions. Since then they continue to blow up my phone and E-Mail me. These people are desperate, very pushy and you will not get much space from them. When a dealership gets that way its usually a sign not to do business with them. Other places aren't like that. I don't know why they think they have to be.

I took my truck in for a Pressurized coolant flush. 6.0 diesel. Todd Patti (service adviser) comes to me 20 mins. later and says. the EPA wont let them do the pressurized test on these trucks because of the amount of coolant in them. I go back and talk to the mechanic and he tells me " we do pressurized test all the time on these trucks. I just couldnt find the tool we use to do it with!" lie #1. I get my truck home and smell coolant all the way(i figured it was because they had spilled a little pouring it back in.) I look under my truck and see a steady drip. I bought a used Mitsubishi evolution that had performance parts in it, I was a little concern because I didn't know if the warranty covers performance parts. couple of months later the engine blew up now neither the Mitsubishi or the extended warranty will cover it after them specifically said the extended warranty will cover anything that Mitsubishi don't cover, I trusted her words and bought it. they are trying to blame it on me saying that I have been racing the car. They have been looking for many excuses one of them said the oil pan has a dent and that the oil pump inside may have damage the engine because there was no oil running thru the engine, well they opened it and the oil pump was perfect. also another guy said it looks like you have change the rims and asked did you hit anything that may cause the dent on the oil pan even after them saying that the dent was not the cause. what if I don't liked the rims? But to me they are all passing the ball around I already spend almost 2 weeks on rental which I know they aren't reimbursing that money. so now I will have to look for legal action because looks like they wont do anything or pay for anything.

Giving used car dealers a bad name

Town East Ford provides the reason people mistrust and hate used car dealers almost as much as Congress. I was looking for a used VW - CC and found one at another dealer, but it had a few door dings and small paint scratches. I then found a similar car (2011 with low milage) at Town East Ford and the internet price was fair. I contacted the dealer through the Internet and told them the offer on my trade in from the first dealer and said that if they can match it, and their used car was clean I would be in to buy. The promised the VW was clean and that they could match the other dealers trade in price without asking about equipment, milage or anything else about my car. I told them that if they could not give me a firm quote based on my specific car, I would not make the more than 1 hour drive. Finally they took the VIN number, milage and list of options. They called back and said that the sale manager approved that they could match the deal the other dealer offered but that I would have to cover the tax, title and licensee. This seemed fair and I was ready to buy. When I arrived at the dealer, the car I was looking at had a small dent (not clean as indicated). After some discussion, they agreed they could fix it without raising the price of the car. We took the car for a test drive while they evaluated my car. They said that my trade in was clean and they should be able to get top dollar. I was surprised when they came back and offered $5300 less then they agreed to on the phone. When I asked why, they said that the sales manager had never approved anything and did not know why the sales person would have told me they could match the other dealers price. Of course they still had my keys to the trade in or I would have walked out. They said that this was the first offer, what would I counter with. I said that my counter was that they honor the deal they provided on the phone. If they could not do this, they needed to have my keys returned so I could leave. The sales person tried to waste more time by saying let me talk to the sales manager. I followed the sales person to the manager and said that if they could not honor their word, I needed to get my keys back so I could leave. After another 5 minutes they finally gave me back the keys to my car and I left To finish up the story, I called the first dealer back that had offered a good trade in value. The car I was interested in had sold the day before. Why do dealers have to lie and waste time. I would have understood if they said (like another honest dealer said) that we cannot match the trade in price you were offered by the first dealer. It is a good deal and you should take it.

After mickey mousing with other dealerships for weeks, they just didn't process a woman has her own money and CAN buy a F350 diesel dually, I walked into Town East Ford. My salesman was Jesse Quiroz. I told him what I wanted, test drove the truck, within ten minutes we struck a deal and the truck was purchased. No high pressure, no games, he actually took me as a serious buyer which for some odd reason, other dealerships had not. Their loss, Town East Ford's GAIN. Jesse actually delivered the truck to my home and gave thorough overview on the features of the truck. So pleased with the dealership, I referred my son to Jesse Quiroz and last month my son purchased a new F250 Platinum Diesel. Again, the same service, Jesse and another salesman drove to his home and helped him with return of a loaner vehicle and delivery of the new truck. Service for my truck (oil changes, tire rotation) has been excellent. After treatment I had received at other dealerships, any Ford's purchased will be at Town East Ford and my salesman will always be Jesse Quiroz.

My Sales Person was very friendly but couldn't get him to give me a price for the truck. His boss got mad at him for not closing the sale with me; so then he came in to close the deal instead. He would not give me a price. I let him know that I was a cash buyer and he kept trying to get me to run my credit for financing. I let him know that if I am just going to cut him a check that it made no sense to run my credit. He then gave me this 45 minute lecture on why he couldn't just give me the price of the truck. Then after he saw that I was really upset he started telling me that I was wasting his time and that he knows that I really didn't want to buy a vehicle and that if I was I would let him know how much I wanted to spend. I let him know and he came back and shook my hand and said you have a deal. I said great but then he had a smirk so I asked him "for the price I said" he then said that well we would talk about it. I let him know that I won't do business with someone who shakes my hand and agrees to a deal just to waste even more of my time. If you don't have the money and need to finance a car then this may be the place for you but if you really don't need the financing then I would go up the HWY to a better dealer. The Manager here is even more incompetent. I won't even go into his issues. It's sad because the Sales Guys were even shaking their heads and when I was leaving a couple came up and apologized to me for how their management had treated me and said they do it all the time. I will never walk back into this dealership.

Crooked as a dog's hind legs! BEWARE! I sold Fords for many years while ministering in Texas many years back. I know all the gimmicks and games that dealerships can play, and this dealer PLAYS EVERY ONE OF THEM! I took my Ford minivan to their service department for an assessment. The "check engine" light was on and I had work done, but the light would not go out. I cannot get the vehicle inspected in the state of TX while that light is on. So, I decided to bring the vehicle to a FORD dealership. If they cannot fix it, who in the world can? I could not afford the repairs when I first brought the van in for a diagnostic. So, I paid for the diagnostic and took the printed report home with me, promising to bring the van back as soon as I had the money to pay for the repairs. They offered me a discounted price for the repairs, but I could still not afford it, so I took the paperwork and brought my van home. A couple of weeks later I brought the van back for the repairs. I gave the service tech the paperwork I had been given, which included the lower quote they had given me just a few weeks earlier. It took more than a week and when I returned (no one ever called to tell me the van was ready, I kept having to go back and check on it) to pick up the van, the bill was HUNDREDS more than the quote he had given me originally. They ignored the price he had offered me on my first visit and just acted like that had never been said. I watched over the service tech's shoulder as he read from the printed service report. I WATCHED as he read aloud, "We were PROPERLY able to diagnose and fix..." when in fact the report CLEARLY SAID "We were NOT ABLE to properly diagnose..." So right in front of my face this man LIED like a rug!!!! I paid nearly a THOUSAND dollars and the job was not done!!!!!! My mother was with me and BOTH if us asked on several occasions, "So the light is out and we can now get the van inspected?" The service tech answered each time, "Absolutely." I drove the van DIRECTLY to a place to get the inspection. The man there said, "I cannot inspect the van, the check engine light is on." I was shocked!!!!!!!!! I hadn't even looked to see if it was or wasn't. I guess in my rush to get it inspected, I just assumed the dealership had told me the truth. This dealership is only 4 miles from my front door, and yet I WILL NOT EVER AGAIN IN THIS LIFETIME RETURN TO THIS DEALERSHIP FOR ANY KIND OF WORK, AND I CERTAINLY WOULD NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!! Having worked for several dealerships over the years, I know a dishonest dealership when I find one. These people are at the top of that list.

The used car sales manager never would come up with a set price on the car, just a monthly payment. I asked several times what the price was. All he would say is a the monthly payment. I had a trade of a 3yr old car, when i asked what was the trade in value he wasoffering he said im not buying that car from you, you can take it to carmax or sell it yourself. I told him if your not gonna buy mine, im not buying yours. I left and now they are calling me three times a day trying to work something out. Will never go back.

After hearing this, I asked him since we have traveled all the way out here and waited an hour for a car that's not here, what kind of offer/deal will they give me on the car? After consulting his manger, salesman comes back and quotes me a price 3000+ the internet listing.Walked out and later received phone call from manager to please come back. I came to look for used cars, it was my worst encounter with car dealership I have ever had. Their service was terrible. When I asked to speak to the manger, he did not to help me and was in fact every rude to me about a price on the car. As I was talking to them I felt as if they were trying to rush me out because I did not agree about the price on the car. Honestly I do not understand how this car dealership is still in business. I will never go to this car dealership ever again, I rather go to a different dealership and pay more on the same car than ever coming back.

The best thing that happened to me was they found me a truck at Don Davis Ford in Arlington, so I went there and got treated great. Same deal, same truck, way better service!!! Don't shop here.

I thought our sales person, Tyrus was WONDERFUL!! He was the only real positive experience I had when dealing with Town East Ford. He was very friendly, not overly pushy and anytime I called him with an issue he took care of it. Finance was a whole other story. It was a complete and utter disaster. I found Alex to be very very pushy. When I didn't want to purchase some additional coverage he was pushing on me he no longer wanted to help me. He just rushed me through everything. It was a Friday night when I purchased the car and I understand finance wasn't started until the dealership was about to close. He financed my car through a bank that I SPECIFICALLY asked him not to, not once, not twice but at least 4 times. I even followed up with him the next week that it was NOT financed through that bank. I had to follow up with him, even though he said he would follow up with me. I did not know until weeks later when I received a call from said bank that they were my finance company. Being less than impressed I called and spoke with Candice and expressed my concerns. The car was fianced through a bank I did not agree to. After much back and forth she finally got me financed through a different bank with terms I was originally promised. Terms that Alex did not even want to try to get because I didn't want some crap additional coverage. Once again I had to drive across the metroplex from Lewisville to Mesquite to sign paperwork AGAIN that THEY messed up to begin with. I thought, wow, I'm FINALLY done with this dealership. NOPE!! 2 1/2 weeks later I get a call from the ORIGINAL bank asking where my payment was and that it was due in a week. You can imagine my shock and panic. I now have not 1 but 2 car loans for the same car. Several calls later I finally get in touch with Candice and 2 days later that loan is magically paid off. Sign of relief on my part. However, still not done dealing with this dealership. A few weeks later my car dies and wont start. Finally find out it's a bad battery on a car that is less than 2 months old. Awesome. Pretty sure the free oil changes are not worth my time in dealing with this dealership anymore. I will stick to buyin cars from Bob Tomes Ford in the future. I feel like my time with this dealership still isn't over.

Thanks to Cars.com I was able to find exactly the car I was looking for. My salesman Mo was superb, very knowledgeable, and very attentative to my needs. Also, Mo called me after the sale to make sure that all was well and that I was a "Happy Camper". My only complaint is not so much a complaint as is a complaint about the process on closing on the car. It took much longer to go thru the closing process (paperwork, warranty, and finance) on the car than it did when I closed on the purchase of my new house. I suppose that's just the name of the game. Also, the other dealer up the road that I went to see has a 2013 Fiesta listed as a manual transmission when in fact it was an automatic transmission. I sent them an e-mail pointing this out, but that car is still listed with the incorrect transmission. So, there you go. Kudos to Cars.com and Town East Ford in Mesquite, Texas.

Andrew from the Internet sales was very respectful with my time. I purchased my FX4 and was out of the dealership in 3.25 hours. Which was about the same amount of time that it took when I purchased my other Ford from a different dealership. Do some research on what you want and you will have a more enjoyable experience.

Bought a 2012 ford mustang from this dealership. I got there at 11am and was there til 9pm at night and still had to come back the next day for more paper work. Salesman told me the price for the car was 21,000. I had to look at the paperwork for information and found out that I was charged 24,000 for the vehicle which is the MSRP for the car so I did not get the deal I was expecting. Not a trustworthy dealership. I will not deal with them again.

I would appreciate it if I could just get a straight answer on how much they want for the truck? Why on earth are your salesmen asking me about or worried about sales tax for an out of state buyer? I pay the sales tax in my home state not in the state where I am buying the truck...are you guys seriously in the car business or just a bunch a scam artists? I told you I was a cash buyer, and you are saying that I cannot transfer the funds directly from my bank to yours? Again, if you are going to sell cars over the internet then please learn the rules of the game! You lost my business!

Drove 70 miles to buy a Ford F150, was told to call the sales person before I left to make the drive, which I did! So when I got their I noticed that I was directed to a different sales guy? Short story is that the truck that I was going to get was sold right out from under me from the sales guy that I have been discussing the buy with, the same one I let know that I was on my way to get the truck! That explains why I never met the guy I was discussing the sale with the entire time? So I drove 70 miles for a slap in the face.

They Tried more hagging!! We decussed a price and came back with an offer 75$ more a month than what agreed to. After all said and done with , Walked away with them begging us to stay. There closing sales managment thinks he can close anyone. Cant take advantage of me. ALl he keep doing trying to tell me stories and make me wait. 3 hrs there and my time is up!! Dont waste your time with them.

This is the second vehicle we have purchased from Town East Ford but the first one was prior to the "bail out". We went in last week to find out what our "financing" looks like, we advised how much we have for a down pymt, advised it would be next week before it would be available and advised of our monthly payment we wanted. We were there from noon to nine. ALLLLLLLLLL DAYYYYYYYYYYY HAGGGGGGLING. We were talked into doing a deal today with the money we had available, we were told they can work with that. We did select a car, signed all the contracts, listened to a lecture about us refusing all the "warranty" add-ons. But none the less left with a car and with payments that were doable, they were 25.00 more than we wanted but doable. 5 days later, the dealer has called advising us that the APR that was originally approved was rejected by the banks and we need to either come up with more down payment money, pay the new increased pymt (which is 40.00 more than the signed contract) or bring the car back. The attitude they are giving us is, this happens sometimes, it is what it is. We are still in the process of dealing with all of this as our point of view is, we have a signed contract, their point of view is, it's an invalid contract b/c it was rejected by the bank. From what I understand they are not supposed to sign the contracts without a bank approval but they did. No matter how this comes out, this type of stresss....... is not worth it at alllll........ go to the next dealer..... don't mess with this one..... they don't want to honor previously signed contracts since it isn't working for them. Apparently they must reserve the right to do whatever they want as their signature means dirt.

Knowing what part I needed and the MSRP of $266.52 for PN# 6F055 Engine Support Bracket; I was told that my cost was $334.48 plus tax a 20% plus markup over list price because I was a do-it yourself customer. Having purchased over $500,000 in New Ford vehicles over the past decade; this experience assures me that I will never visit Town East Ford for parts, service, or any vehicle purchase new or used. They apparently feel justified in screwing customers at every available oppportunity. Voiced my dissatisfaction with Anthony, Parts Manager with explanation that "we price as we see fit."

Came back with a down payment $1000 more than I stated and over $100 more than I wanted to spend per month. Had an add-on service contract on the estimate I didn't need nor want. MAKE SURE YOU REALLY READ THAT ESTIMATE!! Couldn't see eye-to-eye, so we walked. What a wasted trip.

If you want to have to sign and agree to buy the vehicle before you've even seen the APR or finance details, go to this dealership. After an hour of being jerked around about pretty much everything I asked about, I asked for my keys to the car I was planning to trade in. They wouldn't give them back! I ended up going back to the secluded part of the office and asking random employees where I could retrieve my keys. Finally someone got them for me. As I was leaving, Jessie and Warren magically had all the answers and finance info I had asked for. Just be upfront with customers and quit trying to live up to the slimy car salesman stereotype. Why the need for secrecy about something as simple as my APR!? Any intelligent person isn't going to sign to agree to buy a vehicle without having seen the finance details. Shame on you and your tactics, Town East Ford.

We purchased a 2009 Escape the end of March from their used car lot. We clearly stated that we wanted a vehicle that we could drive across country. I'm nervous about driving it to Ft. Worth. Two weeks after our purchase a fault indicator came on the dash stating "Check Fuel Inlet". The dealership charged us a diagnostic and pressed the reset button. We read the manual and we had already been pressing the reset button. The fault came back within days. After a few more visits and not being able to find the problem, they told us they could do a $600.00+ repair that "might fix it". But they made it perfectly clear that there were no guarantees. The warning light came back three days later again and was intermittent up until a new fault came up, the "fault in tire sensor". Not being able take any more issues with the car, we took it back up to be serviced yet again. They ended up replacing the fuel inlet and tire sensor at a cost of $800.00 (and they were "doing us a favor" by knocking off $400 from the original $1100 bill). Today, four days later, the check engine lite has come on. I feel like we are being raped by the entire "owning a Ford" experience. The service center has the most ridiculous over priced service I have ever seen. Basically, if you want to buy a used car and want to keep paying and paying and paying, this is your dealership! We bought a Ford because in the past they have always been reliable. We are finding that to not be the case with this 2009 Ford Escape, and the overall experience with the dealership has been severely lacking. BEWARE: If you buy a car from their used car lot, you are gambling! THEY WILL NOT STAND BEHIND WHAT THEY SOLD YOU!

In my career I've leased or purchased more than a hundred vehicles. When purchasing vehicles for my own use I have always taken a business approach to the purchase. I approach the dealership with no intention of making friends or any long term commitment to a dealership. Arron Anguiano my salesman quickly changed my view on this issue at Town East Ford. Arron's knowledge of the vehicle I purchased surpassed my expectations as well as all his efforts towards showing me all that the dealership has to offer. I purchased the vehicle at a fair price and at a lower interest rate than expected. The entire process though lengthy was completed quicker than expected. In addition to all the above I received oil changes for the first 25,000 miles and an invitation for a steak dinner hosted by the dealership. It's my intention to always give Town East Ford an opportunity at all my business.Thank you Arron for your assistance.Gary

My husband and I took our son to this dealership to look at a used vehicle. We negotiated a price and advised if the price was not one that they would accept to not waste our time or pull my son's credit. They came back in and tried to sell on payment and ignored the price of the car. We were specifically told we had a firm price. This dealership demonstrated an extreme lack of integrity. I would not buy from this dealer. They can not be trusted. The only good thing that came out of this visit is they taught our son a valuable life lesson.

Anyone going to try to deal with these crooks and liers beware of Town East Ford.I came in to get a price on the escape and got the run around. When trying to get a price it took an hour and half just to get the bottom line. When I told them I was going to look at Parkcities ford the sales rep Jason told me they were selling hail damage escapes and that parkcities would not tell me this.I than left not only because of their rude and strong arm tatics but they wasted so much of my time. Then Jason started to call me everyday to see if I have purchased the escape.I told him I was still intrested but would be getting a price from parkcities and informed him Ihad a great deal on a toyota Venza.I gave him the price of the venza and jason told me he would beat the price by a $1000.00 dollars if I came in today.Well I made an appointment with Jason that afternoon and they even had some girl call me back to make sure I was coming.I showed up on time was pony off to another sales rep than waited thirty mins to get this new price which of course was not the figure jason gave me. I confronted this manager named jay who told me very ina very rude way that we don`t have escapes at that price.I told jay this was some bait and switch crap and as I was leaving jay yelled at me {NICE ATTITUDE} I replyed You wasted my time and are liers and you would not know sales if it ran up your ass.I got in my camry and this manager jay came out to my car in a threating manner and wanted to know what I told him.I was more than happy to repete it for him.I have reported this to ford corp.

I purchased a new Ford Edge on 6/27/11 from Town East Ford in Mesquite. I started having problems with the navigation system the day after I had the Edge.Took it back to the dealer & after several to the dealer was told the navigation system had a problem & needed to be replaced. They offered to take the Edge back & sell me one that was in transient to the dealer. It was $2000.00 more than the one I had. When it came in a week later I took delivery & when I was looking a the purchase agreement the next day I discovered that the Finance Manger Seth Baker had changed the discount price I had agreed on the first Edge from $2539.93to $701.00. I was not made aware of this change in the dealership. If I had I would not have signed the agreement.I told Mr. Baker I hope I don't have to get a lawyer involved in this. He told me it would not do any good that the owner of Town East Ford is a billionaire & owned many dealerships, that any lawyer I would hare would be no match against his lawyers! We walked in to get a ball park figure on two vehicles and where help by a guy named Brett. He was very pleasant and very helpful. When asked about a price he went to get his supervisor AJ. His supervisor walked in and told us to test drive it first. We said we are only looking for ballpark numbers today (we had our car totaled in a wreck and are waiting for check to be cut.) He kept trying to push us to test drive when we asked for a ballpark figure again, He got very rude and said what does it matter you are not buying a car today. You can look on the Internet for that. So we said okay we will leave then. His response was "good it makes my job easier". It's funny how they want you to spend 20,000 of your money and yet what to be very disrespectful. We then called to voice a complaint and one of the managers kept interrupting as my girlfriend was fruit to explain situation. She then got upset and a little more forceful and he kept interrupting. Hesaid to her "if this is the attitude you gave AJ you deserve what Serivce you got" and hung up. This place is very disrespectful and I would never go pack here. We are thinking of going to the ford in Plano (which has higher reviews than this crap hole) or another company all together. I would urge anyone else to do the same. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!

Town East called and said to come in and they would help with the Gap claim and see about getting a different vehicle. Aaron worked hard in finding something in my price range with hardly any money to put down. Ended up getting a brand new Ford Ranger XLT right at the monthly payments I wanted. Everyone that worked on getting me into this truck were very friendly and help to keep the payments right where I needed it to be. I never felt pressured or rushed into making the decision to buy.
