I have never had a worse experience. The people their are very nice, but they DO NOT follow through. They never call back on my concerns. It has take over a year to get an issue resolved and it is still not fixed. I would not recommend EVERY buying a car from Tom Obrien. It is a waste of time and money.

The Sales agent Brian McMichaels was very good from the time I walked in the door, the initial search for a vehicle, when one could not be found the ordering of the vehicle, the communication throughout the process on when delivery would occur and fixing and after sales critical item (trailer hitch)The Management team was also good in that the price negotiation did not get stretched out as I have experiences at other dealers.The final paper work and payment was also very efficient when compared to past experiences

I had to go in for a couple of recall notices (nothing major) and get another issue looked at. My customer service rep, Greg Nester, was awesome. He took the time to go over the issues I was having worked on and then came in to the waiting room later to update me on their progress. At the end he made sure I was comfortable with the repairs that had been made and also let me know to contact him if I had any questions. O'Brien definitely takes care of their customers.

I inquired online about a vehicle after hours and received a response early the next morning. I was put in touch with Alec Herman. He said he had only been working at Tom O'Brien for a couple of weeks, but I would never have known that if he hadn't told me. He was able to answer most of my questions, but even when he didn't have the answer, he made sure to get an answer from someone who knew. I really appreciate the hard work he put in, as the buying process was a little complicated because of my own issues, nothing to do with the dealer. Thanks for making the car buying process easy and without any pressure to buy. He let me take my time with the vehicle and really make sure I was happy with it before writing up the paperwork. Love my new car!

Christine Carson was very helpful. I usually prefer to buy from my local hometown dealerships, but I found the truck I was looking for at Tom O'Brien. Christine made my Tom O'Brien buying experience both pressure and hassle free. I am one of those guys that usually dives back in my vehicle and takes off when I see a salesperson walking my way because they usually put so much buying pressure on me that I just don't even want to deal with it. Christine was the exact opposite. Both Christine and the Tom O'Brien staff stayed after hours with me to assure I got exactly what I wanted. I will make Tom O'Brien my first stop when I shop for new vehicles in the future.

I purchased my car new from them in 2007. It is a chrysler 300. Since purchase I have taken my car to them and only them for maintenance and any repairs, They have always been friendly and helpful. Prices are not bad, if you ask for something your care does not need they will tell you, you don't need that. They are good about telling you what service will be needed soon.

Bought a new vehicle from u guys had some added accessories put in a week later from a subcontractor that u guys do business with was not happy with the craftsmanship in which I called the sales rep who sold me the vehicle to notify him of the situation and he got load with me argued with me then hung up on me. U might have a lot of good people working there but there is one guy I will never deal with again. Terrible people skills

The wife and I bought a Town and Country van from Kevin O'Brien Jr. What a pleasure. Nice young man, very helpful, no pressure. Since this was a Chrysler employee purchase the price was already fixed. When we told him we were going to sell our 2014 Escape to our daughter instead of trading it in, he suggested we do what they call an "in and out". Which meant we saved $1400 on the sales tax since he credited us with the trade-in value and "sold the car" to my daughter for the same price we were going to get! Just cost us extra $150 for the paperwork! He didn't have to mention it as he wasn't going to get anything from the deal but it sure saved us some big money. I've bought many cars in my 65 years and this was by far the most pleasant experience in dealing with a new purchase. Thank you Kevin and Angie.

We bought our Jeep Liberty in December 2014. The customer experience was great with Kevin Jr. The dealership is very transparent, helpful, and no pressure sales at all. Buying a used car there was really painless and very easy. We have had repairs done twice now on the windows that are prone to falling out of the tracks and was satisfied with replacement parts and service. They are great about not doing the actual work until you know both what is wrong and how much it will cost to resolve the issue. They have a nice spacious comfortable customer lounge. The last time I had it serviced I scheduled an early morning apt. the morning of the service and only waited 2 and half hours as they worked me in an existing full schedule. During this time, I was asked 3 times if I wanted to use their shuttle service to take me home instead of waiting there. They were very courteous. Can not say enough about the O'Brien family. I highly recommend them.

I worked with Jim Carson to get my Jeep Renegade less than a week ago. The Jeep I wanted was on their lot in greenwood and he personally drove it up to the indy lot the next day. It was a quick process, he explained everything to me and didn't try to sell my something I didn't need. He was so helpful and the financial lady was to the point. There was no extra "oh you need this", she told me that if I didn't want the extra warranties, she wouldn't even waste my time. And she didn't. I LOVED my experience and will definitely recommend people to come here. It was my first time buying a new car and they made me want to do it all over again. I will gladly buy from here in the future!

I recently bought a car from this dealership through it's sales consultant,Tony Jones. He was not a bit pushy or overly aggressive in trying to make the sale, but very friendly, polite, and professional. I did not at anytime feel pressured into making a hasty decision, which I really appreciated. In the past I've met other car salesman/women that do not approach a sale in the same manner as Mr. Jones and it was always very off-putting. I would recommend this dealership to anyone, but more importantly, I'd recommend Tony Jones to anyone looking to buy a car. I know I will be recommending him to friends and family in the future.

Be sure to go over your warranty with any car company. Warranty is in sections now and not bumper to bumper like it used to be. It will cost you a good chunk of money if you want to extend your warranty.

My wife and I went to Tom O'Brien to look at a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo that I had seen online. When we arrived, we were greeted by Tony. I told him of the vehicle that I was interested in and he quickly brought it up to the front for a test drive. He was very polite and knowledgeable. I never felt pressured and he was very willing to work with us to come to a price that we wanted. He went over several other options (leasing/buying new) and showed us the pros and cons of each. I am very happy with our experience and have recommended Tom O'Brien to several friends already.

My experience with the Service Department on Saturday was terrible. They replaced my battery that was a good battery and charged me $225.00. The Service Manager on Monday had the suggestion that I bring my car back and they would put my battery back in and charge me for labor. After years of dealing with this dealership......I am done! Your service department is either not qualified or they do bad business!

I bought a new Chrysler in July of 2014 at Tom O'Brien Chrysler. The dealership I had dealt with for 30+ years had gone out of the new car business. I was very skeptical of dealing with a big town dealer but salesman Kent von Burg was absolutely fabulous. He was very patient with me and explained how everything worked. He treated me with great respect. I drove almost 70 miles to look at new cars at this dealership on the recommendation of a friend. Tom O'Brien has been great to deal with. I trust them implicitly to be fair and honest. They have demonstrated that they have my best interest as their goal. They had two cars exactly alike and I bought one of them. When I went to pick up the new car, Kent said he had done an inspection after they had it ready for me and found a very small scratch. He showed me the scratch and said he was having the identical car prepped for me so I didn't have to make another trip back to have the scratch removed.

I walked into Tom O'Brien after having been to Bill Estes. I met Kent, and told him my situation of my current vehicle, told him what Bill Estes would do and he said, "let's do better"! And he did just that. They are a family owned business and they made me feel like a member! Not that I wanted to bring my 18month old daughter to this proccess (I didn't have an option), she nor I was made to feel like this was an inconvenience. In fact the next day when Kent emailed me to follow up, he addressed it to my daughter and me! I would send everyone I know to Tom O'Brien.

I bought a used van from Kevin and it was a great experience. He was able to provide me with details about the van while trying to sell it to me but wasn't pushy. He worked with me over the next couple of days and we ended up purchase the van. The finance department was always willing to work with me and have all of the paper work ready for me when I arrived. It was a pleasant experience and I will be returning. The one small downside was that the used van was not as clean as I would have expected. There was some trash still left in the car.

We previously owned a Jeep and were looking for another SUV. We did look at several makes/models/brands that included Japanese to European vehicles. We also did visit Tom O'Brien Jeep just to make sure. We are glad we did!! First, Kent the sales person met us and was very professional and took a lot of time to explain to us the new Jeep Cherokee and what Chrysler had done to enhance the product. He was very patient and demonstrated every feature of the vehicle. My wife and I appreciated this very much! We went home and thought about it and had several questions after the visit that Kent answered every time. His follow up and help was very much appreciated. The financing part of it was made easy and with no issues. There were a couple of very good suggestions made and we took full advantage of them. The transaction took more than a few days because we had so many questions and did so many comparisons. Kent and the the management at T O'Brien made sure that we got all of the answers and most of all were patient with our decision process!! When I learned that my car (not a Chrysler, Jeep or Dodge) had a structural flaw that made it unsafe to drive, I went to Tom O'Brien upon the recommendation of a family member. I wanted to be sure about my choice so I drove cars at other dealers as well. I went back to O'Brien and couldn't have been treated better -- nor, I think, have gotten a better deal on a new Jeep Latitude! Kevin O'Brien (Jr) was young but very knowledgeable about the sale I was inquiring about. Big difference from a competing dealer who wasn't aware of the sale or what was covered. He quickly determined what inventory qualified and showed us a couple of the vehicles. He answered all of our questions and during the negotiating was able to come to terms with us. Kevin was very calm and attentive to us during the sales process and we felt him to be very trustworthy. This is the fastest I have ever purchased a vehicle and at the same time, no drama!!! Fantastic family dealership!! I found the exact 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (Altitude Edition) that I was looking for and it happened to be in Indy. I bought a new 2012 Dodge Charger R/T from Tom O'Brien and I was very happy with the experience. Unlike so many other car dealers, no high pressure sales tactics were used. They let me test drive the car without hounding me. I was quoted a very reasonable price on the new car and a very fair value on my trade-in. I really like the way the negotiation process was handled and was treated very well. If you go shopping for a new car there, I would recommend that you ask for Christine Ohlsen-Carson. She was very helpful, had excellent product knowledge and made the buying process a good experience. She even programmed the garage door opener for me! I would highly recommend Tom O'Brien CJDR - North when shopping for a new car or truck. I have all my vehicle service done here as well. Their prices are very reasonable, the work is always done right and they do everything they can to accommodate the customer. I use synthetic oil in my Charger, and unlike other dealers, they don't price gouge on the synthetic. It is so much convenient to let them supply the oil rather than buying it at Walmart and hauling it to the dealer! The facility is very clean, with a large waiting area where you can watch TV read magazines, or catch up with work on your laptop. So I highly recommend them for service too.

Bought my Charger from them and the process was smooth. They attempted to fix little things like doors lining up ext, but never quite got it right. I had them arrange for the window tints to be done as they couldn't do it in the snowy weather when we purchased the car. I had to leave the car over night, which I did not like to do AND wait to pick it up late the next day. I paid for the work to be done at the dealership when I picked the car up. I never met the person who did the tint. my car was a disgusting filthy, dusty mess on the outside. The tint looked perfect on a quick look. I got home and found the following: Dirty footprints on the back of the front seats where he had knelt into the backseats to do the rear window. The cigar lighter cover had been ripped off the center console and was laying on the floor. The tint has bubbles in it on the rear window. Scratches from tools on the paintwork on the doors. A ding on the front offside fender. Rubber seals have score marks from his tools. Scratch in front offside tint where he cut the tint away. Paintwork had white powder all over it along with all seals. This took a great deal of hand washing to remove completely. When we approached Tom O'Brien North about this no one wanted to know and said I would have to call the tint guy to sort it out. They said he was a contractor they had in to do the tint work for them. I pointed out that I gave their service staff the money for the tint in their workshop. I left MY brand new Charger in their care. I never met the tinting guy. Plus they drove my car 15 miles without telling me!!! There are scratches on my paintwork, torn off cap for lighter, ding in front fender where something was dropped on it. I'm furious that I had no help and not even my money back. I lodged a complaint with Dodge HQ, but they said there was very little they could do about it as it was aftermarket and not a full time member of staff. Not only that I had told them the trunk lights were not working each time I went, but this was never addressed. I changed dealerships over to Westgate Chrysler Dodge Jeep and the problems is fixed. I will NEVER use 96th St again. I will stay with Westgate!!! You ripped us off Tom O'Brien 96th St. If I had my way you would have the dealership for Dodge taken away from you as you are a bad representative for Dodge. PS Thanks Dodge I love that new Charger, what a car!

We had been looking for a used Dodge Journey for a couple of months. Finally found one similar to what we were looking for at Tom Obrien on the north side. Should have known something was wrong by how eager they were to get it sold to us. It had issues the very next day after we brought it home. Took it in for service five different times over a two month period. It spent more time at the dealership than in our garage. They did get Chrysler involved. But ultimately said we would just have to live with it. We asked to trade for a different vehicle and they refused. They just wanted us to go away. Will NEVER go back here!!!

I inquired about a vehicle that I was serious about buying and much to my dismay, the particular vehicle couldn't be transferred to this dealer's south side location since that would have been closer for me to get to. They are able to do this with new cars between the two locations, but for some idiotic reason this cannot be done with their used inventory. WHY??????????? Give me a frigging break. I could understand if I wanted them to bring it to an Andy Mohr dealership or something like that, but I was simply wanting this vehicle to be brought from the SAME dealerships north side location down to it's south side location so that I could take a look at it. Even though I wasn't able to purchase the minivan I wanted, it was a great experience. I came in to this dealership to look at a Chevy Uplander minivan for my growing family. I wrote a review earlier but I'm not sure if it went through. Over the past month I have been to 10 different dealerships looking for the right vehichle for my family. Out of all the dealers I've visited this is the only one I'm going to review. I am a very selective buyer and I always shop around to make sure I find the best deal. I SHOULD NOT HAVE WALKED OUT ON THIS DEALERSHIP! The best sales staff around. The salesman who helped me was very professonal and said amazing things about working for the O'brien Family. You could tell he was excited about the company and helping people find the right car.(I didnt find that at the other 9 dealerships I visited this month) He offered me a fair trade in for my Hyundai XG350 and spent a good amount of time showing be a Chevy Uplander minivan that I wanted for my growing family. Even though I was looking at a less costly used minivan, he treated me as if I was buying a brand new car off the lot. (Trust me. I've Shopped for cars everywhere. No other dealership gave me this type of attention.) When I was done wasting time shopping around, the Chevy mini sold. (Probably to someone smarter than me. lol) Trust me when I say they are the best to deal with and more helpful than most. I'm going to contiune to shop the lot at Tom O'brien and wait to buy from them the next time they have a van that fits my needs. Thank you again for the great service.

I have purchased a couple of vehicles from Tom O'Brien starting when they were on Keystone south of 54th street. I will probably go back again because of their selection and price. I had a mixed experience this time. During the first visit I made I was given a take it or leave it price on a vehicle, so I left. A month later I returned and purchased a Chrysler 200S. Christine Ohlsen-Carson worked with me on a price we could agree on and when I signed the papers, the business manager set me up with a warranty to cover major repairs as long as I own the car. I did call Christine back as soon as I got home as I noticed a ding and a spot or two that could use some touchup. The call was not returned. Also, the vehicle had a questionable tire that we discussed during the test drive. A check with the service department brought the response that the car had been sitting with a low tire for a while and if I drive it enough it will smooth out. It's been a month and I'm still not getting a smooth ride as I would expect. Nice facility. Somewhat uneven experiences with the sales personnel.

Saw a used Jeep Wrangler on this website at Tom O'Brien Jeep, sent a message via this site and received an email from Kelly saying Dean would be calling us. The next day Kelly called to follow up to see if Dean has called us,I stated no. Later that day Dean called to introduce himself. Over the course of two days, we bought the Jeep, Dean made us feel like low life's since it was a 10 year old Jeep (buying it for our almost 16 year old) not to mention our first used car we ever bought! While waiting to see Angie, office manager, Dean said when we were ready to get ride of the Jeep he specializes in SRT vehicles and he would help us. Dean did not go over anything about he Jeep even with us telling him this is our first (first Chrysler brand). We asked how to take the soft top down, he said that he would include a video, the next day I called him without a return call so I emailed him and he sent us a YouTube link to a video. Angie was very nice, quick and painless, no questions to ask her since we paid in straight cash. Well not refer anyone to Dean.

I was "double teamed" (a good thing) throughout the buying process from order placement through delivery of my new Jeep. As a female it was such a relief to walk into a dealership that exudes a family environment. My salesperson Bill Spencer greeted me at the door and at no time did I feel overwhelmed or pressured. I am a person who has a low tolerance for "pitchy" sales people. I have to say my wife was right. When we went into the dealership for the first time we were not attacked by a sales agent. Rather they simply asked if there was anything they could do to help us. Kent Vonburg was the gentleman who helped us. He showed us the differences in models we were looking at, then he covered the different levels and then just asked what our must haves were and showed us all the vechiles in the inventory they had. He was great to deal with and did not push us at all. He provided the information and was very professional. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised to find exactly what I was looking for when I visited Tom O Brien Chrysler JDR last week! My salesperson, Megan McCarty, had spoken with me over the phone a day or so before I visited the dealership. She encouraged me to visit their website, then to come in. I explained to her my circumstances and my needs when I arrived, and she got right on it! I didn t have to walk up and down the rows to search for a vehicle. Megan showed me a real gem , we took it for a spin, and I was pleased as punch to find a well-maintained, in like-new condition (inside and out), 2005 Town & Country Limited minivan with lots of bells and whistles! I found a used Honda Odyssey 04 and emailed the dealership for a price quote. They dropped the price of the van to be slightly lower than a competitors price. I also talked with 3 different internet team members. All three were very friendly and helpful. We called ahead to let the dealership know we were coming over (It was more than an hour's drive for us), and they had the van ready for us to view and drive when we arrived. We worked with Elliot Stevens as our salesman, and he was great. He was very patient with us and helpful. He was not pushy with the sale. The van we bought had over 150K miles on it so we did not get a warranty on the van. We've only owned it for 3 weeks, but so far the purchase was a great experience and worth it. Working with Elliot was a positive experience for us, and we would do it again.

After having the truck of my dreams being totaled, I went in search for a truck to fit my needs. I spoke to Mark on the phone and told him my story and my future needs for hauling a larger trailer. He told me that he would get back to me. He went searching the web for the exact trailer that I mentioned to compare the weight to the truck I wanted. I loved that he did not just talk out of the side of his head. We were both on the same page. That was a great feeling! He was supportive and did not play any games when we told him our budget and concerns of getting into another car payment. He is a motor head, but knows how to relate this to the everyday person. He is also committed to the O'brien family. Honestly, this was one of the reasons I made my purchase at Tom O'brien. Loyalty counts in my book. I absolutely love my 2012 Dodge Ram. We found the automobile on the internet and sent a request for a call or e-mail. We received an E-mail which we followed up with a phone call and talked with Rob Sloan and was greatly satisfied with the information. I also talked to the Manager and he put the vehicle on hold for us until we could get to Indy. Upon arrival everything was ready and Rob took his time to explain everything concerning the car. I would recommend O'Briens to all of our friends and Rob as the salesman to go see.

Our Sales Consultant, Rob Sloan, had great patience with an older couple overwhelmed with all of the sensors and controls on the new vans. We were able to test drive a Grand Caravan and a Town & Country with the same features to compare: ride, convenience, handling,and road noise. Rob used a computer model designed to buy a vehicle to "build" the van, features and color that we wanted. This gave us list prices to compare Dodge/Chrysler. Although the Caravan was about $200 less, the Town & Country had other advantages. Rob then searched their inventory on the lot for the van we were looking for. Color preference not available. Not available at their Greenwood location either. We declined a "distirct search" because of two bad experiences with this process at other dealers in earlier years. We looked at T&Cs in their inventory with other colors. An acceptable color, but with more options and a higher price was available. Rob worked with the Sales Manager to make an offer that brought this vehicle into a price near what we had been considering earlier. Deal made!

I bought a used car from Tom O'brian. In the first month I have taken the car back twice for pre-existing repairs. The most miles I placed on vehicle were to and from their service shop. They actually billed me for 50%^ of the repair (done in thier shop) that obviously existed prior to my purchase. They tricked me by acting like a delaer that care about the Customer. Be careful, and ensure the vehicle is checked by a third party expert. I have an appointment to purchase another vehicle fro my son, but not at Tom O'brian,

My car broke down on my way home from work and I had it towed to Tom O'Brien. My car was now to the point where it was more expensive to fix it than what it was worth.
