Everyone there is very nice and follows through. Only complaint is the bathroom could be updated, as a lady, I notice weird things like that. I couldn't be happier about my new (used) car. My feet still haven't touched the floor!!!

The dreaded car shopping and buying experience should be dreaded no more.....at least when dealing with the folks at Tom Gibbs. After my 16 year old car lost a wheel while driving, the last thing I wanted to do was to shop for a new vehicle. I was tired and not anticipating the car process at all, enter TJ and others at Tom Gibbs. TJ was very patient and walked with us while we circled and circled, we didn't know what we were looking for exactly, so like I said he was very patient. I could go thru detail by detail, and every detail is all positive. Bottom line is all of the staff at Tom Gibbs were very professional and friendly, we didn't encounter any "sales people" or pressure from anyone. Tommy Gibbs and his associate Billy Beydoun provided a great used car purchase experience for me. They came out with a very fair up-front discount and were very transparent throughout the entire process. All the information (warranty, certification details, estimated trade value, financing options, etc) were laid out to me prior to my three hour trip to the dealership, so I felt very comfortable in making a decision to go with this dealer. When I arrived the vehicle was exactly as advertised and the price payment were what we discussed prior to my visit. Billy did a great job going over the vehicle's features and Robert Arkin in finance was able to procure very aggressive loan terms. I wouldn't hesitate to drive another 3 hours to go to Tom Gibbs Chevrolet the next time I'm in the market for a used car. This was a great experience from start to finish! We bought two cars within the span of a month! There was no pressure. Bill was extremely helpful and knew all the features and patiently answered all our questions. The entire staff are all customer service focused making one feel as if invited to a friends house ensuring your comfort. Even the upselling for additional products that is always part of a car purchase is done with such finesse one is not made to feel guilty for not purchasing. Even with the unfortunate circumstance of having to have a collision repair, dealing with Mike made the experience most pleasant. We have never had such a pleasant car buying experience and highly recommend Tom Gibbs for your next purchase.

Purchase a 08 malibu April of2016 unknown at time of purchase car did not have a spare or any of the tools for flat repair. Car also had one tire that was a different brand and size . When told to them the used sales manager was to busy talk to me he said he would call never did watch out for any thing from these people sell it and forget you Mark spicer Palm coast

Tom Gibbs Chevrolet has provided me, hands down, the best purchase experience I've ever had. Sales Manager Tommy Gibbs worked with me via email prior to my visit to the dealership. He was very prompt in his replies at all hours of the day and provided me all the info I needed to make the purchase decision. His communication was straight forward and very transparent. Not to mention, the deal they gave me was great! When I arrived at the dealership Tommy introduced me to his associate Devyn Cote, who did a great demo of the new vehicle and took the time to explain all the features to me. Devyn was very knowledgeable about the product and also helped me with the purchase paperwork. He made the process seamless and has continued to follow up with me after the sale - even though I'm several hours away from the dealership. You can tell this dealer really cares about its customers and I was more than just another sale to them. TJ was courteous and outgoing, patient and diligent in working with us as we sought the deal we needed for our budget. And as others have stated, the closing sales manager was brief and applied no pressure, completely contradictory to experiences in Daytona. Tom Gibbs offered the trade in value I needed to earn my business, and I'm happy to say the purchase of our new vehicle was equally pleasing. This was the first time in our sixteen years together that we've purchased a North American brand vehicle, and we're happy to say we'll be back!

We went to Tom Gibbs Chevy after a maddening experience at another Daytona Chevy dealership. My husband had to drag me to another car dealership. We were looking for a Chevy Equinox and trading in a 2013 Malibu. At Tom Gibbs we were introduced to our salesman Michael Pearce, he was polite, personable and professional, I have to say this was the least painful car purchase I have ever had. There was no bully by a "closer". We were offered a very fair price for our 2013 Chevy Malibu and Michael found the color that I wanted. I would also like to thank Jack, the trade-in-appraiser, he was nice man who renewed my faith that a Chevy does keep its value. Unlike the other "closer/appraiser who's offer meant that my Malibu had lost $10,000 over the last 2 years. Tom Gibbs should be proud of their employees. Tom Gibbs is as family oriented as a dealership can be. When it is time to trade in my Equinox, I will certainly go back to Tom Gibbs.

On December 28th, 2015, my wife and I had the bad surprise of having a flat tire on our Equinox S.U.V. coming down from Canada. At this point and time around twelve noon, we were at Palm Coast Fl. We asked a tow truck to take us to the nearest GM dealer witch was your dealer. (Tom Gibbs Chevrolet). On our arrival, we were treated just like V.I.P. and we had a super service. Mr. Chris Hancock treated us promptly and very politely. He took the time to explain the future problems that could occur with the other tires so that it would be more secure to think about changing all of them witch we did so that we would prevent future problems. After an hour and 15 minutes, we were back on the road for our destination. ~ So, has promised, my wife and I, are showing you our deepest appreciation for your courtesy, your excellent services and we will always remember that you made us feel secure and safe under the work you did on our S.U.V.~ Thank you very much for everything you have done for us.

On 12/29/2015 I had my 2005 Chevrolet Trail Blazer towed to the dealership with a problemshifting in to gear. At that time, the problem was diagnosed to be a transmission shift cable whichwas replaced for twice the charge once completed when checking with two other repair shops.After I picked up the car I noticed a grinding noise coming from the vehicle. This noise could havebeen reported by the service tech. , but was ignored..After I called the service writer, he suggested I drive 30 miles back to the dealership and have thenoise inspected. The following day I was informed that the problem was in the transmission andfront breaks needed to be replaced. The cost would have been roughly $4000.00.....I declined proceeding with the repairs and brought the vehicle to a transmission repair facility and after a lengthy inspection determined that the problem was not in the transmission, but in the brakes. Brakes and bearings were replaced for $788.00.... not the $4000.00 quoted by Tom GibbsI plan on alerting not only my friends , but others on my face book page and, as a retired Army Officer, others in a monthly publication produced by the military,the lack of professionalism andfair dealing on the part of Tom Gibbs Chevrolet.Gordon MacPherson

Hi,I just wanted take a moment and right a review because my experience with this dealership was fantastic. I live about 80 miles from the dealership and I just bought a used car from them today. We did a large part of the bargaining over the phone due to the distance. They (in particular Michael Bustler and Scott) were very courteous and forthright; and they kept their word. Everything we agreed to on the phone, was perfectly in order when I arrived today for the test drive. This stands in sharp contrast to the last two "deals" I had attempted to make recently with other dealerships (like Napleton Nissan), which were downright dishonest, and abusive. Went to bring my 2013 Spark to the carwash and I saw this beautiful 2015 Malibu with the tag on it for the Chevy summer tag sale. I asked Tommy to see what I could do if I traded in my Spark and he was so helpful. I actually lowered my monthly payment and got into this awesome sparkly white Malibu. It seriously drives like butter and the gas mileage is almost the same as my Spark - in love with this car. I am so happy I am a Tom Gibbs Chevrolet customer.

We bought a Volt in December, and right from the beginning we had a great experience. They gave us a fair price right from the start and we didn't have to haggle. They let my wife drive a demo Volt for the weekend, and answered all of our questions. They called us every month to see how we were doing. When I called about a recall notice that I had received, Tommy got on the phone to find out when the parts would arrive. He called me back within 5 minutes, and had a date when we could bring the car in and promised a loaner for the day.I have never seen such excellent service from a car dealership. I know that I am very demanding, and usually expect a little push back. There was none!!I highly recommend them and will shop no where else if we decide to buy a Chevy in the future. By the way, we love our Volt!!!

Their entire staff, in every department, always was there to assist me in any way possible to help me order and receive my new Chevy Colorado. Mike was the greatest salesman a customer could deal with. We "built" my vehicle on line and when it arrived at the dealership the entire staff was at my disposal to see me hit the raod with my new truck. When I needed a loaner vehicle while my truck received a Rhino bed liner I was astounded to learn that all loaners are "new" vehicles. My wife and I had started our search for a truck back in May. We researched and visited many dealerships within the Palm Coast-St.Augustine-Daytona area. Ultimately, we found our selves at Tom Gibbs Chevy and we met Neil. Within a week, Neil had been able to locate and work out a deal that we were happy with on a truck. However, when the truck arrived, some problems had been identified on the truck, so we were not able to purchase it. Neil worked with us and constantly updated us on the truck that we wanted to purchase over the next few months. All in all, Neil was able to find us what we wanted and made our vehicle shopping experience an enjoyable one. We highly recommend Tom Gibbs Chevy. This was our first Chevy purchase and it won't be our last from Tom Gibbs Chevy.

Took truck to them 4 times in 6 months to fix the transmission. Each time they blamed something else as the reason for it tearing up. Customer service was horrible. $6.5k to fix a Chevy transmission, after 4 tries. Hopefully they got it right this time, but past action predicts future results....i doubt it. Definitely wouldnt take my truck back.

Is unprofessional paid them to fix rearend on Chevy truck had to bring it back three times still not fixed they want call you back had to get a wrecker from orlando then they charged us 2100.00 for a new rearend after we already paid for rearend tobe fixed service manager said ball on hitch was loose making the rearend go bad but there was no ball on it because the wrecker driver took it with him just lie after lie from this service manager im a conservative Christian with kids and i was out of work because of there lies shame on you tom gibbs

This is an excellent dealership to do business with. Tom and Tommy Gibbs along with Megan Rizzo and Jack Haas are great people to do business with. Tom, Tommy and Jack offered a great price on the new vehicle as well as for my trade in. The first offer was a good deal so negotiating was not necessary. I had thoroughly researched pricing before visiting the dealership. The finance department secured financing at a rate that was below what I had anticipated so I saved money there also. Megan Rizzo went into great detail in completing the deal and explaining the features of the new vehicle. Megan has followed up with a phone call to make sure that I was happy with the new vehicle and to see if I had additional questions about any of the features of our new Traverse. I had been recommended to go to Tom Gibbs Chevrolet by 2 people I know who had an excellent experience with them. I had been doubtful when calling that I would even be able to purchase a vehicle. I almost cancelled my appointment, but Megan Rizzo made me feel very comfortable on the phone that I decided to take a look. Upon arriving Megan greeted me with such kindness and sat down with me to see where I stood. She listened intently about my financial situation and assured me she could help. Well to my astonishment Megan had a wonderful SUV in the lot that seemed perfect for me. She let me take it on a test ride, I loved it. From the time we pulled into the parking lot and no salespeople "chased" us down, I knew we were in the right place. I had not bought a new car for 13 years and I was a little nervous. Other dealerships I had visited "pounced" on us as soon as we drove in, and the salesman were "pushy" and tried to tell me what I wanted. Megan was so friendly and made me feel very comfortable. She allowed me to look and test drive what I wanted. We ended up spending most of the day with her and she was so patient with all my questions. A female shopper is not always treated with respect and taken as a serious buyer. I had visited several dealerships looking at both the Chevrolet Traverse and the GMC Acadia. At several other dealerships, the salesman provided only the minimal information about the vehicles and tried to sell me on a more expensive model. I decided to check out the Traverse while having my car serviced at Tom Gibbs. I was fortunate enough to be helped by Bill Attwood. Not only was he knowledgeable and considerate but also he provided me with all the information that I would need to make an informed decision. When he heard my concerns about whether the car would fit in the garage, he provided me with a loaner for a day and let me get a feel for the car. When I had made up my mind to buy, he located the car I was looking for and zeroed in on rebates for which I qualified. Upon delivery, Bill and Neil Austin (the person who completed the papers for the deal), explained everything clearly and concisely. Bill gave me a tour of the service department and the facility and then spent a lot of time explaining the features of the Traverse and setting up the radio and phone. Since I took delivery, Bill and the other people at the dealership including Tom Gibbs have been accessible and helped me with any questions that I have had. I prefer to buy locally but if I hadn't been treated the way I was at Tom Gibbs Chevrolet I probably would have gone elsewhere. From beginning to end, this was a positive experience; I would highly recommend Tom Gibbs Chevrolet and Bill Attwood to any car buyer.

The purchasing process was smooth and unlike many other dealerships I didn't feel pressured into purchasing a vehicle. WOW I drove down to Palm Coast from St. Augustine for this super deal promised over the internet. After finding neither of the two people I had been communicating with were on site I met a lovely young lady by the name of Megan Rizzo. She is the only reason why Mr. Gibbs got a sale.I will boil this down to as little as possible.1. The car I wanted and had been quoted was not available so Megan found one with an add on chrome step. She explained all the programs. We wrote her a 5k check as it was New Years Eve and I had to go.2. We called in the number a friend gave us for GMC discount and it was not as good as our discount (Ingersoll-Rand fleet) so we had an additional 1500 we had to pay. That I said was acceptable.3. We arrive to find the Tahoe had went up $2,600.00 ($1,100.00 over what we agreed on). After a LONG and confusing explanation it seemed that it would be better for Gibbs bottom line if they did not use our Fleet discount? In all the confusion it got to where it almost made sense and we were beat down at that point anyway. I looked at my wife and decided to write them a check and put some distance between myself and Tom Gibbs Chevrolet.4. Megan showed up about a week later with the floor matts and helped put them in on a Sunday at our home with her husband and young daughter. Such a nice young lady and family Thank You Megan.5. Today to add insult to injury I received a bill for $51.40 because they did not charge enough? Seriously can you do that?I'm fortunate enough to be able to pay cash for my stuff but it won't be Tom Gibbs again. I own an HVAC company here in St. Augustine and try to treat customers they way I would want to be treated. I want a customer for life. These folks are just worried about the next deal and every dime they can get out of you. Never Again.PS: I guess I should add the checks I wrote added up to about 55k. Send me a bill for $51. LOL.

Ok, So you might be trying to get a good car dealer without having to deal with all the problems out there. Well stop, really, stop looking. Go to Tom Gibbs. This is my 4th car from their dealership. Their Honest, fast and very friendly. Yeah, I know, you've heard this all before, but its true. They have a good system. Thats why I keep going back. Their good at getting rid of any problems you have. Like fixing cars at prices that years ago would be too expensive, not now ! they not only make it affordable but they don't try to over sell you things you don't need, they try to take the time to find out what you really do need. Do you ever feel like, Oh no its a car dealer price, I'm gonna go broke, their really over priced ! No, nothing is for free but their very competitive and you know they'll do it right ! I cant find words to express my deepest Thanks to your staff Neil Austin, he is my Guardian Angel. He was so helpful to me and my little 5 year old daughter. My Car broke down, I had no transporation to come to the dealership, Mr. Austin pick me up from my house. My credit is not perfect but by the grace of God mr. After waiting two hours, I asked about the progress of my work. Service rep, Gibbs, Jr. replied with an exasperated sigh and, "I don't know.. they're working on it." I was never offered a ride on the shuttle service, which is the best kept secret of the dealership. I noticed two women who came in later asking to be given a ride while their service was done which was met with a loud, "Um..." and refusal by Jr. Waited for three hours. Unprofessional treatment.

I brought in my Saturn Ion coupe for a repair and mentioned I was getting it fixed so I could sell it. I planned to buy a Hyundai Sonata but when Neil showed me a comparison, the price was about the same but the quality of the Malibu seemed better (they had a used Sonata in stock). I knew Neil and two others from the Saturn dealership. It was wonderful to have the same friendliness as I experienced at Saturn. I received a good trade-in price. I had no interest in a Chevy what-so-ever but Neil worked with me and I know I made the right decision. Also the dealer is only 8 miles away vs. 30 for the Hyundai - a huge plus. Tom Gibbs has a good reputation too. Good perks too: free cars washes and 2 years of free oil changes.

I drove over 100 miles 1-way to try Tom Gibbs service, to fix a problem with tires/TMPS and to get an oil change. Took my wife along. While there every service manager said hello and asked how they could help. I had an appt with them and they did not make me wait;they started working on my truck immediately. I met the Service manager, Tom, and he was very helpful with pricing and obtaining new TMPS. He was like a friend helping me. Anyway, the price was very good on services (much less than my local dealer)the waiting area was comfortable with plenty of magazines, a nice TV, and I think the internet. I have spoken several times with Tom Gibbs and found he and his staff to be friendly, kind and honest. They are not pushy sales people and the experience was pleasant. This is the best Chevrolet Dealer I have used and I have been using Chevrolet and GM dealers for over 20 years in FL, VA, & TN.... TOM GIBBS is the best Chevrolet Dealer!

Lied to three times in same day.....waited over one hour and was exposed to three sales people, none finished the initial sales presenation. Total waste of time, after driving over 70 mile one way. My advice.........go to another dealer!! Again, I would give thumbs down on this dealer.
