We went to Thompson to look into purchasing a Rav 4. The sales consultant who introduced himself to us was Tim Earles. Right from the very beginning, Tim was friendly, very personable and genuinely seemed interested in helping us. He asked us questions about what features we would be most interested in and was a great listener! He suggested the Rav 4 XLE and we took one for a test drive. It was exactly what we were looking for! Tim took a lot of time explaining all of the safety features and technology that the Rav 4 offers. He was extremely knowledgeable! We never felt pressured or hurried to make a decision. Once we decided on the XLE, which didn't take long because we loved it, the rest of the process of finalizing the deal was extremely positive. We felt very comfortable with Tim! We trusted him and he honestly made the experience fun! This is the fourth new Toyota we have purchased from Thompson's and we never have had a bad experience. We have always taken our vehicles there for service and routine maintenance. We can't say enough good things about the service department. We have always felt that customer service and satisfaction is a priority at Thompson. Thank you Tim! We are enjoying and having fun driving our Rav 4. So grateful to you for making that happen. We went in to look at a used Honda Pilot back in March of 2016 (sorry this review is late!). Our salesman was Tim Earles, who was highly recommended from a friend. We would not have thought to go to Thompson without this recommendation (we thought we wanted a Pilot and didn't put thought into any other SUVs). Tim was fantastic from the very beginning. We went for a test drive in the Pilot and there was something we weren't crazy over - he didn't pressure us, just accepted that we didn't like it and then waited for us to suggest what we wanted next. We didn't want to just leave - Toyota is such a great brand, why were we only interested in Honda?! So we asked to look at used Highlanders. We ended up really liking one, but went home to think about it. The next morning we decided we wanted a new Highlander, so I called up Tim and let him know. Not once had Tim ever tried to push a new Highlander on us. He let us lead and only make decisions we were extremely comfortable with. So, the following day or two he guided us through the purchase of a new Highlander that was only about $2k more than the used one we had been interested in. We highly recommend Tim as a salesman. We have already talked about going back for all future SUVs and would go to Tim first.Quality of SUV... better than we expected by a long shot. We bought a beige interior, something that made me nervous, and it's been upholding very well. Stains come right off and even our toddler hasn't been able to stain it. We love how it rides, and the gas mileage is better than the Pilot. AWD, third row of seats, not sure what more you can ask for. Won't ever look for another dealer. The price was better than we expected as well (of course it depends on the package you want).Service... every time we've taken it in (only once or twice for regular maintenance), it has been a joyful experience. My husband brings work and sits in the awesome waiting area. You feel like a client here, not a customer. Car has been in perfect condition after all work. My husband loves that they wash your car after all service.

First, Thompson Toyota is a unique place as it is modernized with extensive free WIFI \ monitors to know your status / TVs / free coffee,water,food. But to partially fund these nice elaborate expenses for customer waiting area, etc., they charge top dollar on services.One recent meeting: a defective passenger visor (cheap plastic type) that was deemed 'defective' and given extended warranty coverage for free (7 year after purchase date). I thought Thompson toyota replaced it along with my drivers side visor back in 2014 but did not. So now, my passenger visor needed to be replaced for same 'defective' issue and I am out of pocket $95! (and that includes a discount from the $110!)! Toyota has not budged for reversing the cost to me (reimbursing) even though they potentially botched doing it in 2014

We put our car request in thru truecar, they posted the exact vehicle we wanted. In subsequent contact, we arranged a test drive. They promised to have the vehicle in front for us to test drive. Next day when we came in...oh there was a mistake/miscommunication, the vehicle we promised to have here for you to see is not here, how about they show some other cars they had. Foolishly we agreed to look at the other cars and do test drives since we were already there. Their inventory is minuscule. The vehicle we ultimately wanted, a v6 xse, black/black was not available, in fact not even a v4 was present. They promised to get us the exact vehicle we wanted, we negotiated the price, they even had us sign off on an order purchase form (which were not countersigned by them nor had any vin # listed).. They gave us a printout of the car we half thought we had already purchased...half a week later, still no car, the Toyota rebate had expired and the only car they did find had a complete different and unacceptable interior color. Basically these guys were selling us a car they didn't have, wasting our time with their stupid hard sell tactics and penny ante b.s.

From the first contact with our salesman, Tim Earles, to tje delivery of our new Prius, we had an excellent experience. We have bought many cars at Thompson over the past 25 years (all good experiences); Tim demonstrated knowledge of his cars and could answer every question we had. Moreover, he listened to our needs and helped us find the vehicle that was the best fit. He was friendly, consciencious, and diligent. It was far and away the most pleasant experience wehave had in purchasing a new car. Tim is clearly ideally suited to his profession and is a great asset to Thompson!

Thompson Toyota has been an amazing experience. They were my first stop when looking for a new car, and outperformed every other place I visited in terms of knowledge, hospitality, and responsiveness. I had the pleasure to meet Tim Earles, who helped me through every step of the way, answered all of my emails and phone calls immediately, and he was able to assure me that my first new car would be perfect for what I wanted. I couldn't be more happy with the services he and Thompson Toyota provided me. A week after my purchase I had a minor display error that went away by restarting the car. I immediately called Tim, and he told me bring it in. He was there to meet me when and reassure me that it would be solved. I cannot express the volumes that that spoke for his character. Getting a loaner car was a breeze, and getting my car back was even easier. This dealership went above and beyond all expectations and other dealership experiences that I've seen. I would recommend them to anyone, and I will absolutely be back for my next new car.

In November 2015 I decided to lease a mid-size SUV. After doing a search on-line, Honda, Subaru, and Toyota were the ones I wanted to look at. For no apparent reason I went to Honda and Subaru first, and wasn't too impressed with anything, showroom, product or staff. What a difference when I walked into the beautiful Thompson Toyota showroom and was met at the door by sales and leasing consultant Tim Earles! He is the kind of person you take an immediate liking to as I did. In my 80 years I have purchased numerous vehicles, and I must say that he is the best example of his profession that I have experienced. I knew within a mater of minutes that I most likely would be doing business with him. Throughout the whole transaction process I was similarly impressed with the staff that I met. After the leasing Tim was always helpful and patient with questions I had in the operation of some of the vehicles systems. When after a few months I took the vehicle in for a scheduled service, I continued to be amazed and impressed. When this lease has run its course in about 30 months, I am already planning on sticking with this dealership.

I have been working with this dealership for over 28 years, and I have been buying cars exclusively from them for 28 years. They are extremely honest, they will sell you a good car every time, and I feel safe dealing with them because I know that they won't rip me off. My family also has been buying cars from them for many years - my parents (now deceased) and my brother and his wife. My parents lived 30 miles away from the dealership, but they would not go to a closer one; they only wanted to deal with the Thompson Organization. I was the same way when I lived in Philadelphia. Thompson won't sell you a bad car, and their service department is top-notch. If they mess up on a repair, they will not charge you to fix the problem; they stand behind their work. Besides, 99% of the time, the service department will do it right the first time, and they won't recommend repairs that you do not need; in fact they'll tell you that you don't need the repair, if that is the case, should you ask to have it done. They are not out to pad their pockets dishonestly or unnecessarily. I would be proud to recommend them to anyone.

The entire buying experience was simple and straight forward. Tim couldn't have been more friendly, professional, and accommodating. Management team of Steve and Mat were also very easy to deal with.The preparation on the Highlander was fitting for the quality of this great SUV.This is my third Toyota purchase in the last 8 years and the first time I will want to return to the selling dealer for another purchase.My previous experiences closer to home did not necessitate going back to my previous dealers.Going an extra 30 minutes from home was worth the trip!

This was my first time buying a car, so I did all my research and made sure to go into the dealership prepared, but there was a lot I still didn't know. From the get go, Adam Rosenthal was a huge help, from the test drive down to the last minute of the sale. He was very knowledgeable about the car I wanted and worked with me to make sure I was getting the right car at the right price. He even stayed an hour past closing to make sure I left with the car I wanted. He was extremely professional and handled all my concerns as well as his own in a proper manner. My husband and I started looking for a minivan over 6 months ago and had difficulties dealing with several other dealers/makers. We actually gave up and put it on hold because of the frustration we encountered. Then, we were connected with Tim Earles as our salesman, and our experience was completely different. Not only was Tim knowledgeable about the Sienna, he was honest and straightforward with the details and negotiations, and had a great sense of humor that helped get us through the process. With regards to the dealership, Thompson is over an hour from our home, but because of their dedication to their customers, the state of the art facilities and the overall experience, we will continue to have our car serviced there. Our finance person was awesome too! Straightforward and great to work with. Thank you Tim and Thompson Toyota for making this process easier and fun at the same time!

I went there to look at a 2016 Rav-4. This Dealership is one of the Highest Toyota Dealerships around. I saw an advertisement for a Toyota Rav-4 lease special $299 with zero down on the internet. These guys do not honor any of Toyota Advertised Lease Specials. If your in a market to buy a Toyota you may wanna do your homework prior to stopping in here.

When my lease was up on my current Highlander I was not sure what the best option would be for me. Should I buy? Lease a Highlander again? Lease a different car? I had lots of questions and concerns and having never leased before I was a little nervous about the whole process. I contacted Tim Earles at Thompson who had sold us our car previously. Tim addressed all of my questions and concerns, presented many different options for me to consider, made sure that we landed on the best option for me with a payment I was comfortable with and in the end I could not be happier with the result. As we test drove a 2015 Highlander, it was clear Tim was extremely knowledgeable about Toyota, the car itself and all of its features and he easily answered any and all questions I had. Coming to the end of a lease, I wanted to purchase a new Tacoma. I had planned to use an Auto Buying program and had actually received a quote. My wife had to take one of our other Toyota's to the dealership for service and she asked me if I wanted to meet her there and look at the Tacomas. Tim was our salesman and was awesome. He worked for us to get a deal on a Tacoma that was equal to the deal we would have gotten through the Auto Buying Program. Additionally, his customer service was outstanding. No pressure, he walked through all the options so that when I left the dealership in my new Tacoma all the features were set up and I felt totally comfortable with the vehicle. My wife and I agreed that it was the easiest car buying experience we had ever encountered.Thanks, Tim!

My elderly Volvo died on the way home from work last week. Tim Earles got me into a Camry LE with an incredibly good lease deal. In the next three years, I will have to pay for exactly one oil change and, meanwhile, I'll have a payment under $200. Tim really knows the products very well and the finance and auto detailing departments had me out the door in a very reasonable amount of time in a brand new car. Tim really knows the technology systems well and taught me how to synch my phone with the car (and was about to give a past customer a refresher on her nav system). This is my second excellent experience with Tim and Thompson.

Most of the times that I have had to visit the service department I have left annoyed and frustrated due to rude staff behind the service desk. So because of a couple of employees (that have been there for years) I finally had it and will never buy from a Thompson dealer and even ever buying a Toyota again. For me the way I am treated by the staff is just as important as the service provided. The last time and many other times, they were chatting about their weekend while I and others were waiting to drop off our cars for service so we can get to our own jobs. And when I said "Good Morning" which interrupted their conversation, both employees just glared at me. The rest of the conversation with this lady.was full of passive-aggressive thanks yous and sirs. And when it was obvious she was being a rude, the other guy working there just glared at me instead of trying to assist. Before you buy a car make sure the service department is staffed with normal, pleasant people. I can't wait to unload my Prius and get a car from a different dealer so I never have to go to a Thompson dealer (Doylestown, PA). Horrible experience.

It was time to replace my 14 year old Toyota Corolla, so I decided upon a Prius. I went to Thompson (as we have done for 32 years!) with my AAA Buyer's Certificate in hand. I met with a Sales Consultant, Tim Earles. Tim went over a lot of the features in the car and I test drove the Prius 2. We went back to the dealership to talk. I really wanted some of the features that were not available on the Prius 2. Throughout this process Tim listened politely, answered questions, gave me information as needed and did not try to sway me either way. I did not feel pressured in any way. The next day I contacted Tim (on his day off) and asked about test driving a Prius 4 on the following day. My schedule changed and I asked Tim about trying the car on the evening of his day off. He had already gotten a Prius 4 on-site for me to drive and we drove it that night. The next day I purchased the car. Tim set up a lot of the Audio and Navigation apps for me and went over features on the car with me again. He was very patient and told me I could call with any questions! I have called already and stopped in with a question. Tim helped me immediately. My son wanted to replace his Yaris and I told him to go and ask for Tim. My son purchased a new Corolla the same week!

My wife and I just purchased a new 2015 Camry this past week. Being in our early 60's, it's needless to say we have purchased/leased quite a few cars over the years. We can honestly say that working with Tim Earles thru this purchase has been our best experience. From the first time we walked into the dealership, until we finally took possession, Tim attended to all our needs; answering all questions, explaining the car in great detail, treating us with the utmost respect. I will recommend to anyone looking to purchase a car, to see Tim.When purchasing a new car, of course you have to like the car, but for me how you are treated by the salesperson and your comfort with the dealership is just as important. It came time for me to replace my aging vehicle and we went to Thompson to check out Toyota. My wife and I heard that they have great gas mileage and are solid vehicles. But I had concerns. I met with Tim Earles and he listened to our needs. It was sort of funny as he showed me a Camry, we test drove it and learned about its features. Then, he showed us other vehicles, other colors, other models, talked to us about the differences, the expenses, the comfort for me as this would be my car, and the price. In the end, however, we went with that first car he showed us. That showed me he listened to what we were asking for and showed professional patience to allow us to make an informed decision. These two qualities made the experience exceptional. We left with that Camry and we are so thankful to Tim for educating us on the details, the expenses and, of course, the vehicles. He is knowledgeable, helpful and informative, and we plan to revisit Tim when my wife needs a car later this year. Thank you very much and I highly recommend Tim!

Right away I was greeted by Tim Earles who was very friendly and knowledgeable about all the features in the new RAV4 I was looking at. I was hesitant at first because I LOVED my 2012 RAV4, but after thinking it over I'm very happy with the new one. I am and have been a Doylestown resident since 1996. After purchasing a brand new 2003 Highlander from a very young salesman by the name of Andrew Walker at Thompson Toyota, I vowed at the time never to purchase a car from this dealership ever again. After lengthy negotiations on price, when it came to close the deal, Thompson failed to honor the commitments made by Andrew. Andrew's response was "I'm a car salesman . I'm supposed to lie." My observations of the dealership's culture in addition to Andrew's lack of ethics were indications of the way Jack Thompson wished to model his business.As the result of this experience, my next two cars over the next five years were leased from Fred Beans Subaru and Peruzzi Toyota. Both experiences were OK, but against my better judgment, I decided to go back to Thompson in 2012 when it came time to turn in the leased Camry that I got from Peruzzi. I live close to Thompson Toyota and simply didn't want to be bothered with driving all over the place searching for a fair deal. That's when I met Steve Tagye (sales manager) who introduced me to Bob Cohen (sales consultant). Because of my experience with Thompson in 2003, I was pretty jaded in my discussions with Bob and Steve, but they easily grinned and bared with me and gave me a very good deal on a 2012 Corolla S. But I have to admit that I still wasn't in love with the place regardless of my good experience with Bob and Steve. The 2003 experience was still fresh in my mind and, to me, a car dealership was simply a means to an end in order to get my hands on the car that I wanted to drive.Fast forward to today. Last week, I had brought my 2012 Corolla S in to Thompson for the annual inspection. While I was waiting, I walked around looking at the 2014 Corolla S and marveled how much Toyota changed the body, features and trim on the S model. I ran into Bob Cohen who I hadn't seen since leasing the 2012 Corolla S and to my amazement, he not only remembered my first and last name, he pronounced my last name perfectly which is no easy feat with those unfamiliar with it. And as cynical as I can be, I don't believe it was part of some conspiracy where the service department called over to the sales department to let Bob know that I was on the property. Frankly, even if it turns out to be that's what happened...Wow! What team communication and salesmanship to make a potential sale!To cut an already long story short, I am happy to say that I walked out of Thompson Toyota last night with a brand new 2014 Corolla S. Bob, Steve and I put together an excellent deal where they bought me entirely out of the lease on the 2012 Corolla S one year early to get me into the 2014 Corolla S lease at a lower monthly payment! They had to locate the car in the color and model that I wanted from another dealer, which they did in three days, since they didn't have one on the lot. I had hoped to have made out better on the buyout of the 2012 Corolla S lease with some equity to be applied to the new 2014 Corolla S lease since the car I was turning in was in pristine condition and I had such low mileage on it. But I eventually realized that the dealership needs to turn a fair profit on a portion of the entire transaction when they sell the car I was turning in to be able to exist in the first place to continue offering great products and services through the help of great associates like Bob and Steve.Suffice it to say that these guys have changed my entire outlook on the car buying experience. They are honest, do not employ hard pressure sales tactics, are entirely transparent in their disclosures and are always respectful even at times in the past when I'm embarrassed to say that I may not have been the same to them. If either of these guys ever leave Thompson, I don't know what the xxxx I'm going to do especially since we will eventually need to replace the 2003 Highlander that my wife still drives.I would highly recommend contacting Bob if you are in the market for a new car. He and Steve work extremely well together.Message to Jack Thompson...you managed to get back a former customer solely because of these guys which, as you know, is extremely difficult and costly to do. Don't screw it up and revert back to doing business the way a large portion of your industry does.

The process of purchasing a new car can be overwhelming, but exciting. Each and every person I dealt with at Thompson was pleasant, welcoming, knowledgeable, professional, and most of all, accommodating . My salesman, Tim Earles, assisted me in acquiring the Highlander that best fit my needs and budget. There was not a Highlander available when I first browsed, but he called me with the availability of one that suited my criteria the very next day. The purchasing process was convenient with the application for credit completed quickly by computer. There were clear explanations about options available for extended warranties and coverages, but no pressure to purchase. I was able to leave a bit later the same day with my vehicle. Tim then took additional time to familiarize me with the technology of the car, including syncing my phone to the car, as well as reviewing the standard equipment. My most recent experience in purchasing a new 2014 Toyota Corolla, L, manual transmission, was no different. The salesperson, Bob Cohen, was excellent. He was courteous, knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and very helpful and straight-forward with me. Another reason I have been a loyal, long-time customer of Thompson is because of their superb service department. This was my first experience at Thompson Toyota, and I was impressed. Ron really made the experience, and though I ended up buying a different car than the one I originally came to see, I couldn't be more pleased. Interestingly, I noticed a small flaw on the windshield about a week after purchase--a small crack, which I know didn't happen when i had it. The day i bought it it was dark & rainy, and from where I sit the rearview mirror blocks it from my sight. We all missed it, and it turns out it was a crack inbetween the top and bottom panels of glass--in other words, not fixable and liable to spread. I was really concerned that i was stuck, but I called Ron and he got the used car manager on board and Thompson replaced my windshield at no cost to me, other than my time. I would recommend Ron & the Thompson team very highly--I was respected, treated well, and not pressured.

May be best car-buying experience I have had !! I own or have owned premium autos from Acura, Audi, BMW, Infiniti, and this experience arguably tops them all. I live ~ 50 miles from the dealership, so didn't have time to keep stopping-by. My wife and I drove out one afternoon, un-announced, stopped in, found Tim, and started not just a car-buying experience, but a friendship. Tim made himself available to us, test-drove the vehicle we were interested in, educated us about the vehicle without talking-down to us, and walked us around introducing us to the Thompson staff, who equally welcomed us. The vehicle we were interested in had an offer on it, so we had to wait and see if that went-through, or the vehicle would be available. We weren't sure when we left if we'd get that vehicle, but we knew we wanted to do business with Thompson Toyota. Thompson Toyota is first dealer to give me an actual trade-in figure based on my vehicle description and pictures, none of that "We can't really tell you without seeing the vehicle". Tim Earles worked tirelessly, and exchanged emails with me several times a day, getting me information, details for auto I was interested in, "running financial numbers", etc. We exchanged dozens of emails, I sent pics of vehicles from the internet with options I was interested in, and asked Tim for his honest opinion, which he provided without bias. It wasn't until all questions were answered, financial details had been worked out, that we realized Tim did not have our phone number, Tim placed one call to us, to get deposit to hold vehicle - that was it !!! Tim worked harder for me than he did the dealership (don't tell his boss) !!! Although we had to wait couple extra days to take delivery (Tim wanted "perfection" with prep, detailing, options installation), it was well worth. Day of delivery, Thompson even provided lunch !!! Only regret is Thompson is not closer, so I could occasionally stop by for service, detailing, and say hello to new friends !!! Recommendations don't come easily from me, this one does !!! Thanks Tim, Thompson Staff, for great experience, and new relationship !!!

We test drove all 3 top-selling mini vans and I'm happy we saved the best for last. Tim showed us that Sienna just has a much higher level of finish and better drive than the Odyssey or Town and Country and for a better price. Even after we added a 7 year, 100K bumper to bumper warranty package to our purchase (which was self-evidently a good choice given there's very few exclusions for the price), the monthly payment came in equivalent to the Odyssey we tested and we have keyless everything and a much higher end radio/nav system in the front, endless leg room in the second row, a much beefier feel in the engine performance, and a much smoother ride. Tim's knowledge of the competition and comparative features at our price point made it very low-stress to sign the paperwork on the loan for.

Tim was fantastic to deal with at Thompson Toyota in Doylestown. I had visited originally in the previous winter for service on my Highlander and while I was there I took a stroll outside to take a look at new vehicles. Tim quickly came outside in the cold to see if I needed help. He was quick to give me any and all information he had on the new Tundras, Which was exactly what I was looking for. We took it for a test drive and then went inside to run the numbers. Unfortunately, we were unable to make a deal due to my personal finance situation at the time. That being said, Tim never gave up on me. He would email me sporadically or give just a friendly call to see how things were going. During this summer I had reviewed one of the emails Tim had sent me. I stopped up and the dealership and thanks to Tim's very hard work, we were able to get a deal through. I am now the proud owner of a 2013 Toyota Tundra TRD. Its got all the bells and whistles and Tim was even able to get a couple of extras for me. I highly recommend Tim and Thompson Toyota to anyone thinking of buying a new car.

We first stopped in to look at a Prius at Thompson a month before we planned on actually purchasing. Regardless of the fact that we were not there to make a purchase, and despite the fact that it was a busy Saturday at the dealership, Tim took the time to take us on an extended test drive and share his wealth of knowledge with us. Tim clearly knew, and was enthusiastic about, his product.As we moved forward to our purchase date, Tim kept in touch and met with us to talk over the financials and make sure we were making the correct decision. I see a lot of the folks who wrote reviews have a little consternation about buying cars. Not me, I love buying cars because I enjoy watching my wife grind sales consultants down to a little nub until they give us the deal we want or beg us to leave. Therefore, I was completely disappointed when I walked into Thompson Toyota and was approached by Tim Earles. My wife was unable to turn on her "charm" because of Tim's honest, forthright approach. We didn't have a lot of leverage with our trade because of the pathetic product we were driving made by another auto maker who I won't mention (mazda). Tim and Thompson knew that but didn't take advantage of us and gave us the best possible deal on a new Toyota RAV4. Great car, great deal, great buying experience. We are Thompson customers for life.

Being that I am a bit of a car fanatic I usually know exactly what it is I want and the salesperson I have dealt with the last two times I made a purchase, Tim Earles, answered all of my questions and quickly got me into the car I was after. I was in the market for a new car and my search led me to a few places, my last being Thompson Toyota. They blew the competition out of the water in regards to sales, customer service, friendliness, willingness to answer questions, and working till the sale was complete!!! Jim Was outstanding!!! Jim is the total customer service package!! He worked very hard with the finance department to get me into the Used car I wanted...I was not even there...my parents were there and everything was done over the phone while I was working. Jim ended up selling two used cars that night...the car I bought and one to my parents!!! Jim followed up with us, had paperwork ready to go when we arrived the next night to pick up the cars, walked us through some of the functions of the cars, and called to find out how we were liking our cars after some time had gone by. I highly recommend Thompson Toyota to anyone who is the market for a new car...you will not be disappointed. They believe everyone deserves a chance regardless of financial situation and credit history, they work to get you into the car until there are no options left, they do not give up. Even if they cannot get you the loan, you will leave there knowing they gave it their all. I was in need of a reliable, dependable vehicle that would fit in to my budget, which included mileage and savings on gas per mile as I drive a tremendous amount for my work. I had the usual expectations of going to a car dealer and was not sure if I would be able to obtain a vehicle. I had heard of Mr. Earles from a friend, who purchased an SUV from him, so I thought I would try to meet him. The facility was very nice, the people were courtesy, and Mr. Earles was more than I expected. He was extremely helpful in showing me options, not demands. He assisted me to understand my needs for an economical car versus my "dream" car, especially with the amount of driving I do. I honestly don't even know where to start, since I have so many great things to say about this dealership (the Thompson family in general). I originally had a vehicle that was purchased elsewhere and it gave me problems (just shy of a few day already out of their 30-day warranty), so I had to take it myself for service at one of their other Thompson dealers. Long story short, I was able to take the quote given to me (very high I must say) from their other Thompson dealer and fight my case with the faulty car that was sold to me and I got my full refund back (taxes, title tag fees, all of it). That took me back to square one to find a car again. This time, I wanted to be very sure that I was going to make the right purchase with the right people and this is where Thompson Toyota became one of my top choices that I would buy from. Just from the start of when I spoke to one of their salesmen, Frank, I knew I was going to be treated well as a customer. He was very polite and knowledgeable when it came to answering any of the questions I had about the vehicle. Two days after, I called to speak with Frank about the vehicle but he was off that morning; so I left a message for him. Right away, he got back in touch with me during his time off to negotiate and helped with getting the sales process completed once we agreed on the price over the phone. Frank just overall made the whole car buying experience the most pleasant and easiest ever. After having dealt with what I had to deal with prior to Thompson Toyota, I don't think I can ever buy a car from anywhere else. Wow! This is the word that came to mind each time I went to Thompson. They have the most helpful staff I have ever seen at a car dealership. Frank, the salesman who worked with me, took the time to answer all of my questions, did everything I asked him, and yet was not the least bit pushy. I found the car that interested me online and gave Frank a call. I was concerned that maybe the photos may not have shown everything and Frank had no problem going out and checking to make sure that there was nothing misleading as a double check. When I got down there he had the car out front and came right out when I arrived to show it to me. Still, Frank remained cool, calm, and most importantly to me unpushy. It was dark when I arrived so Frank offered to take into the shop so that I could see it fully lit up and even got it put on the lift for me so that I could take a look at the frame. In the end I bought the car and Frank guided the rest of the way and did not push me off to someone else. I feel that the staff, especially Frank, are the best business and would not dream of going anywhere else in the future. Thanks guys.

I recently went to Thompson with the intention on buying a Rav4. My family has bought many cars from here and I thought I could have gotten a deal in some way. I was greeted by Adam and everything seemed well. After the test drive on a 2012 model, everything fell apart. He would not budge at all on last years model and when I told him that no one wants last year model, he didn't even attempt to drop it any further. It was a true pleasure to do business with Thompson Toyota through John Kelley. I had previously sent some personal clients of mine to John Kelley, now it was my turn. I purchased a new 2013 Toyota Avalon. Having previously been to the Toyota showroom, I noticed a lot of familiar faces upon returning, my personal thoughts are this is a true testament to the Thompson organization and the employees that work there. The purchase of the car through John was a very professional and easy process. John takes the time to educate you about the vehicle. Upon agreement of the price I was then introduced to another gentleman who prepared all the documents to be signed. Again, this was a very thorough process, not a hard sale but very educational. I would like to note that John took the time on his day off to come in a get my vehicle to me as it was not one purchased from on the lot, thanks John. I have now been driving my Toyota Avalon almost three weeks, I am so pleased with the vehicle, the value you get for your money is an option to explore for a person who has not done so, it has all the comforts of a vehicle that could possibly cost a lot more, the technology is in a word awesome! I would not hesitate to revisit the Thompson Toyota dealership, John Kelley is a plus to have on their team, that is not to take from anyone else as I sure they are all very good! All the Service Representative keep explaining the same issue without answering to the point, when there is a issue they cannot fix and do not know how to Fix. Specially the Engine Light - I made 3 visits to the dealership and they were not able to confidently fix the issue. After a day or two my engine light turns back ON.Both these employees do not have the courtesy to apologies for the inconvenience and will attempt to walk over you and suggest as IF I myself was the expert to resolve the issue. Jaison atleast was not able to commit obviously due to hand tied with Company rules, however Steve was even worst. He would not listen to the grievance and offer complete solution.This is quite standard expected from Service representative, when they are unable to fix issue related to Engine Light.

The purchase experience was very positive and the service since the purchase has been the best. The service team leader (Dallas) is always up front with needed service and costs. We first visited another dealer much closer to us (they are literally down the street) but we were not entirely happy with the price and experience. After reading the positive reviews about Thompson, we got an online quote and interacted with Sherah on the phone. She was very helpful and was understanding of our busy schedule. When we went in to look at the car and talk more seriously we were so lucky to get John Kelley as our sales consultant. John is so knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Upon arrival for my Prius, I tell them I need to be in and out in 60 minutes which they promise. I have my own Silver team to watch over me and my car, they suggested one additional 55,000 mile service and said it too would be done in the one hour time frame, which it was and kept me informed as it progressed. All this in the comfort of a very pleasant waiting room with brewed coffee, tea, fresh cookies, computers with WiFi, separate play room for children and also for television. Polite and always courteous with valet drop-off and delivery of my car!

I brought my new Prius in for routine maint- enance. I was impressed by the organization of the service center. Since I had an appointment, I just have to give my name and turn in the keys at the service desk. I waited in the waiting area for approximately 1/2 hour at which time I was called, asked if I wanted to make an appointment for the 5,000 mile check, and sent on my way - a very efficient operation.

I have been a customer of Thompson Toyota since 1984. I remember my first visit well. I purchased a 1984 Toyota Corona and the dealship was closing and I had not signed all the necessary paper work. I was allowed to take the car home and return the next day (which was a Saturday) to complete the paper work. With that gesture, they had me for life. My daughter has purchased three cars, a good friend has purchased two and two former co-worker has purchased cars based on my recommendation. Thompson excels in customer service. Dallas of the Blue Team always greets me by name and I am always pleased with the repairs done. The waiting room is bright, clean and comfortable. I live in Plymouth Meeting, PA and there are closer Toyota dealership than Thompson but I pass them by and drive to Thompson.

I have always found my many Toyota vehicles to provide very reliable and comfortable transportation and the Thompson Toyota Agency to provide excellent personalized service, (especially Dallas and his Blue Team). To further improve the customer experience, I would recommend: 1.) Improving and consolidating the customer databases; 2.) Refining the maintenance scheduling process for multiple vehicle owners; and streamlining the car purchasing process for repeat customers (it should not take as long as it does). It may also be interesting if there were a "customer feedback night" or such where customers can offer their thoughts on recommended vehicle redesign issues and agency improvement processes.

Our decision to purchase a vehicle from Thompson Toyota began with an Ebay listing. The detailed information and excellent pictures posted on Ebay was very helpful as well as accurate. The listing gave us a sense of quality before we even visited with a sales person. Hal London was very helpful in answering all of our questions, which was probably an extra challenge since we were purchasing a used Ford from a Toyota Dealership. I'm a hands on person and It can be a little scary purchasing a vehicle long distance without seeing or driving it. Hal put those worries to rest in walking us through all of the details of the vehicle and also of the paperwork. He even gave us his personal cell phone number so we could easily contact him with further questions. We opted to fly-in & drive our vehicle home, so the pickup service at the airport was greatly appreciated. We appreciated the efficiency and professionalism of Hal London at Thompson Toyoyta. It was quite obvious to us that Jim Ogle, our sales representative, cared more about getting us the right fit of vehicle to meet our needs than he was about making a sale. A great deal of time was spent making sure that we were going to be satisfied with every aspect of the Toyota Camry we purchased and the paperwork involved. We first met John Kelley a few years ago when our youngest daughter graduated from college. She was looking for a car and so we made our way to Thompson's. My husband and I were looking for a 2012 Highlander, and knew what model and options we wanted. We saw a vehicle at one dealership, and began working on a quote. At the same time, we checked inventories of other dealers online. A similar vehicle, in a nicer color but without certain features we wanted, sat on Thompson's lot. We have close friends who purchased their car at Thompson through Ron, and highly recommended him,so we decided to contact this dealership. Our first contact was our online request for a quote on the vehicle posted at Thompson's website. We were promptly contacted by phone by Shera, who listened and noted what our exact needs were. Shera was very personable, and got the ball rolling with an initial quote that was good enough to keep Thompson in the game. We had thoroughly researched prices for this car on Edmund's and Consumer Reports, so if the initial quote was too far off the mark, we probably would not have continued working with this dealer. Having mentioned our friends had worked with Ron, we were then turned over to him. Ron not only attended to us with warmth and congeniality, but honestly and conscientiously worked to get us the best deal possible on our car. Unlike many other sales people we have worked with in the past, Ron understood that our time is as valuable as his. He let us know when he would have time to devote solely to us, and kept us updated throughout the day with any delays, so that we would not have to waste time standing around while he finished with other customers. Additionally, Ron worked to compete with the other dealership that we were working with. In the end, Ron was able to match the competition 's quote, including the optional accessories we wanted that this car lacked. The price was below Edmund's True Market Value. All negotiating to this point had taken place over the phone, in the comfort of our own home! When we arrived at the dealership, we were greeted immediately by Bill, who knew who we were without having to ask. While Ron finished with his last appointment, Bill showed us the vehicle, and directed us on a test drive that demonstrated the vehicle's handling and comfort on a variety of different road surfaces and driving conditions. No other dealer has done this, and it made us more certain we were buying the right car (from the right dealer). When we sat down with Ron, the rest was a piece of cake! We had already agreed to a very good price, and while we test drove the car, the appraiser had finished with our trade and come to a number that satisfied us. Our 0% financing was approved within minutes. Ron took care of all the little details for us. Our 10 year old daughter, along with us, actually proclaimed the experience painless! It was, without a doubt, the fastest, smoothest, and most pleasant car purchasing experience we have ever had. The next morning we returned to Thompson's service department to have them take car of the extras we needed installed on the car. Valets greeted us and parked the car so we could proceed directly to the desk. We were shuttled to a pancake house to have breakfast while the car was worked on, and picked up when the car was done (just as we finished eating--also, Thompson paid for part of our meal). The representatives in parts and service were as friendly and efficient as those in sales. We were greeted by all those we had worked with on the sale, and Ron came out to see the work on the car before we left, following through on the sale, even though the ink was dry on the paperwork.To sum up, Ron and the team at Thompson met and exceeded all of our expectations. We got a nicer car than we saw at the competing dealership, with beautiful detailing and a custom color. We got lots of little perks with regard to maintenance and roadside assistance. We got outstanding service. And we got the price we wanted on the car. We will recommend Thompson to others, and will definitely see them for our next car purchase.

After shopping around at various local Toyota dealerships for a used Corolla and not finding a good deal, I decided to place an appointment with Sherah (Internet Customer Coordinator) at Thompson Toyota (about 45 mins from my house) to come see a used Toyota Corolla for my wife that fitted my budget on a Sat evening. As we arrived to the place, we were greeted by Steve Buzby because Sherah wasn't available. Steve showed us a few vehicles that he had on the lot that met our criteria and we then mentioned to him that we came to see a specific vehicle but he had informed us that about a half hour or less before we got there, someone else had purchased that vehicle and it was being detailed/cleaned (the buyers were inside the office as we were there). We were kind of upset that the vehicle was gone but Steve assured us that perhaps, he might be able to help us out with another vehicle and said that he can see what can be done for us. We test drove 2 Corolla vehicles and while doing so, I found out that Steve and I went to the same high school (Central High) in different years of course, and that he knew some people that my sister had previously worked with in the Northeast area as well. ;) Anyhow, we narrowed it down between the two cars to one and then started the "number crunching game" with Steve and later, with his manager. It was a bit more than my budget but due to the fact that the car (2011 Corolla LE) had low mileage on it vs the one that we are originally had in mind, I decided to put forth the extra money towards the purchase and we closed in on a deal. Steve was very helpful & friendly during the entire process and and was easy to deal with as well. About a week later, I had bought the vehicle back in for some minor things that needed to be fixed and Steve took care of all of them for me as well. This is my second purchase from the Thompson family (purchased a new vehicle from Thompson Lexus, right next door, in Nov 2011) and so far, so good. Overall, my wife and I are happy with the Corolla purchase and we can say that we highly recommend the Thompson Toyota dealership & Steve as a great salesman if you are looking for a used Toyota vehicle. Air conditioning failed on minivan. Outside temperature recorded at 107 degree! I had to decide on repairing it on 12 year old fairly reliable vehicle or purchase new one. Did some online research on ratings of new minivans, and decided on either a Toyota or Honda. Visited Thompson Toyota first and Bob came outside to greet us when we approached the door. He showed genuine interest in our needs and our 2 grandchildren aged 5 and 11 who were with us. There was a July incentive which included low 60 interest rates which made the choice easier. So, after a test drive, decided not to pursue the Honda, and chose a 2012 Sienna which we drove off the lot, after terrible thunder storm and warm cookies for the grand kids.

Im a bit of a distance away from this dealership, but I was interested in one of the cars I noticed they were offering, so I made my way. I was greeted by Frank who was incredibly friendly and courteous from the start. He was attentive to all of my questions and concerns, knowledgeable, and patient. It was reassuring to not feel a sense of being rushed. Frank catered to everything I asked and made sure an answer or resolution was found, including handling insurance issues, and even coming in on his day off on my return visit to follow-up with the purchase to make sure everything was in order. From the parking lot to the desk, Frank exhibited service that indeed met and exceeded my expectations. I can only speak of who I dealt with while there, but I can say with confidence I believe that from my salesperson to the finance associates that I dealt with, they do have the best interests of the customer in mind and it will be my pleasure to say hello to them if I see them next time I have my car serviced there.

I bought one car from Jim and he was great. I went back two days later and bought a second one. Jim was one of the easiest people I have worked with when buying a car. He was fair on pricing on the new cars and both trades. I am loving the new 2012 Camry and the 2012 Prius for my wife. I visited approximately 5 dealers over a one year period including other brands who dealt in mini-vans. I was very happy with Thompson Toyota and in particular John Kelley. He was the most knowledgeable salesman I met through those many months of researching my new car buy. After he completed the sale he spent about an hour going over the vehicle making sure I felt comfortable driving it from the lot. When I went back a week later because my cell phone didn't sync in the car he again took quite a bit of time to investigate the cause bringing in other people including their electronics expert. Here it was my ancient cell phone. I was not surprised and it was long past time to get a new phone. Everything has been perfect since then. Every person I met at Thompson went out of their way to greet me and ensure I was getting the help I needed. The girl who made the first contact through the internet, Sherra, even stopped by to check to see if I was being helped to my satisfaction when I went in. Due to time committments, I needed to complete this deal quickly and we wrapped it up in under 2 hours, start to finish. They went extra mile to accomodate my tight time requirements. Nicole was extremely helpful in logistics for Christmas morning delivery to surprise my wife. Manager did not come off as "typical" sales manager and did not play games. Very refreshing. I was limited in my choices due to financial constraints. That was fine because I found a car with which I was pleased. I was told that I would be GIVEN an additional package worth $999.00. I was, again, pleased to hear this. When I returned the next to complete the financing, I was told that they were not able to "finance" in this package. I asked them why they would when it was being given to me at no cost. Unfortunately the gentleman who offered this was not there at the time. They denied that it was a free offer, despite the fact that the sales person who assisted me was there when it was said, as well as the person I brought with me. I could not debate it, because, as stated, the original gentleman was not available. I completed the transaction and went home with a bad taste. I then contacted the Sales Manager who promptly told me that it would be no problem to give me that package and to schedule an appointment to bring in my car for one of the procedures that was part of this package. I was glad to hear this, although it could have all been done in the beginning and not caused me to have to return. I wonder if this would have taken place in this manner had I been a man. I felt as though I was being played for a fool, but happy to see that management quickly resolved it. I found the exact van I had been looking for on Thompson's web site & the price was TOO GOOD to be true. I live 100 miles away & 2 hrs drive time from the dealer, but decided to check it out. Even thou the car was "certified", I was leery because of the $$. Frank offered me the car for the weekend to have my mechanic check it out or they would even drive it to my mechanic (200 miles RT). They even offered me a 10 day money-back guarentee if my mechanic found anything wrong with the van. After getting a clean bill of health by my mechanic, I decided to purchase the van. The 200 mile round trip & 4 hrs driving time was a concern for me, but Frank offered & decided to deliver the van to me. All the paperwork was done by Frank at the dealership, and all I had to do was sign & drive once delivered. I was completely satisfied & overwhelmed at the way Frank & his manager went out of their way to make this sale. Looking forward to my car living up to their salesmanship.

This is the first time that I have ever bought a used car sight-unseen (I am located in AZ and this dealer is in PA) and I was a little uneasy with the prospect. Kevin was great to work with though, answered all of the questions that I had for him, took extra pictures and managed the whole process of shipping documents back and forth very well. We reached an agreement, signed papers, and a few days later I had a trucking company come by and pick up the car. This is the second car we bought from Thompson Toyota and the service was exceptional. Everyone involved in assisting us with selecting our car were very helpful. They did not try and rush us to buy a car and listened to our specific needs for what we were looking for in a car which led us to find a car that fit our price range and daily needs. John Kelly was patient, informative, and straightforward. He did not try and lead us to purchase unnecessary items and was accommodating. At Thompson Toyota, when we walked in the atmosphere was friendly and we were not swarmed by people who were just looking to make a sale. Service Manager, George Davis, and John Kelly truly care about the customer and their needs which is what we look for while making any large purchase. We will certaintly be purchasing other cars here in the future.

It was a such a great experience to going to Thompson Toyota to purchase our new Highlander. From the minute we walked into the showroom the staff was very helpful. Our salesperson John Kelly was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about every aspect of the Highlander. We went to look and ended up purchasing. The showroom was large, roomy, bright and clean. Restrooms were immaculate and the service area was well equipped and comfy. Service bays were very well maintained, bright and clean. Very organized which is so important. We traveled at least 45 minutes to the dealership. We went through the Costco program, the price was right, trade in value was great and the staff was the best. My wife and I met with Nicole Barkus to lease a 2011 Sienna minivan. We came with 2 of our children and she made the whole process very easy. I had talked to Nicole on the phone and emailed her what we were looking for and she went out of her way to get us exactly what we wanted.Nicole was very easy to work with, as she went through and explained all the features the mini-van had to offer and also helped keep the children busy so we could check out the vehicle and ask other questions we had. We were very impressed with her knowledge about the mini-van as she really covered all the things that were important to us.Every one at Thompson Toyota was very nice as we did the financing and signed all the papers. It was also very relaxing and I would recommend Thompson Toyota and Nicole Barkus to anyone looking for an automobile.We are looking forward to this new relationship as with 3 kids I am sure we will be back again!Greg

My wife and I were looking to replace our current vehicle and lease in the near future. On a whim, we stopped at Thompson Toyota in Doylestown b/c it was right across the street from a Perkins restaurant (where we intended to have lunch).We first met Nicole Barkus, a Thompson Sales Consultant, as we walked around the lot, looking at the new car inventory. We explained our situation to Nicole and she was very courteous, knowledgeable and helpful in her suggestions. So we asked Nicole to work-up pricing for us on a new FJ Cruiser and soon afterwards, she introduced us to her Sales Manager, Dean O'Brien. Dean was just as friendly, helpful and honest as Nicole. Dean gave us a great trade-in for our vehicle and a great price on the new FJ. The purchase was a no-brainer. Dean and Nicole explained all the benefits of buying from Thompson and Toyota (e.g. free 1,000 mi. oil change, free inspection for all the cars we own, free 5,000 mi. oil changes, 24 hr. road-side assistance). We also briefly met Dallas Sowden, one of the Service Managers, who has been with Thompson for 20+ years. Dallas was as friendly and down-to-earth as Nicole and Dean. We were then introduced to Bill Gane, one of the Finance Managers at Thompson. Bill made the paper signing a very quick and very pleasant experience for us. Bill displayed all the "numbers" and made everything we signed, easy to understand.Mr. Thompson is doing everything right in employeeing people like Nicole, Dean, Bill and Dallas. They are truly friendly and honest people and made our car purchase the best we ever had! And we've been buying cars for 40 years! Nicole Barkus was an excellent source of kindness and efficiency in my decision making of which vehicle to purchase. Nicole was very friendly and accomodating to our schedule and what we could afford. She was extrememly helpful in finding what we wanted. We needed a bigger vehicle to fit the children and all of their supplies and she found just what we were looking for.

My wife and I have been purchasing vehicles from Thompson Toyota of Doylestown, PA since 1988. We have just traded in our older vehicles (2005 Tacoma and 2006 Sienna) for new ones (2011 Tacoma and 2011 Sienna). We have always been and continue to be very satisfied with the folks at Thompson. They are friendly, resourceful, and the service department is great! We are both part of the red team with Karl and Karl has been great for many years.I can't say whether Thompson is the best priced because frankly we have not wanted to go anyplace else given the quality of service we have received from them since 1988--even though there is a Toyota dealer closer. I recommend everyone who wants to buy or lease a car to Thompson Toyota. It's a great place.My wife and I may be moving to Florida and one of the things we are concerned about is how we would get back and forth to Thompson. Actually we are hoping that we find a Toyota dealer with the same quality as Thompson.

The arrogance was appalling. My family (wife, 3 kids) and I wanted to buy a Sienna. We test drove and researched options. We were quoted the MSRP. When I asked about negotiating, salesman told me "we have enough buyers of these that we don't need to negotiate". We ended up buying the exact Sienna we wanted (was built to order and delivered in 6 weeks) at negotiated price from another dealership. We even get it serviced (except for warranty service) elsewhere due to the 'tude.

I own a $56K Toyota, but trust me, you'd never know it - I get much better care from the local Midas (no, there's no "Free" valet from the other guys - but if you believe the valet is free, check you bill; you're a perfect candidate for the "free" TV offered at a time-share). I can't remember my anniversary, let alone the color of my "TEAM," why do they keep asking me that question - and why do I have to see the same mechanic, his schedule is messed-up because he works late on other days! Overall, if you like expensive service and a grumpy staff (with decent coffee and a "free" valet), this is the place for you ... at least the boys over at Honda wash my car when they charge me $400 for a wiper blade. Too bad the multi-color service team doesn't run like my Toyota. I gotta say, though, that the parts "team" (monochrome) has always been great - they can't help it that a Toyota OEM screw to tighten my mirror is $199.

close to perfect as human beings can get. Making an appointment is easy. Only twice in 12 years was the service not perfect and both times they went far above and beyond what they needed to do in order to make it right (without causing me one minute of stress in the
