After searching for a used vehicle to meet my upcoming job needs, I wandered into Tapper on a whim and was I ever glad I did. The sales consultant (GENE-O) approached me and listened inventively to my list of priorities that I needed in my next vehicle. Unlike other dealers, Gene-O actually was interested in me, not just the sale.Gene-O walked me through their inventory and had me sit in a few possibilities. I liked his approach. Some people would think he was just selling me but actually he was providing me the service I needed to make a decision. He was doing his job and doing it very well.I ended up taking a car for a test ride and Gene-O went with me. Most dealers send you down the road so they wont miss the next customer. All the time Gene-O was listening to my remarks and answering my spontaneous questions. I've purchased 16 vehicles in my lifetime and dreaded the process each time. However, I must conclude, because of Gene-O's help and being a true professional, number 17 was an "Enjoyable Experience" .If your shopping for a car, begin by having a mental list of three to four items that are deal breakers for you. Ie: Comfort, MPG, Style, Cost etc. Go to Tapper in Paw Paw MI., and give that list to Gene-O and allow him to do what he does best. He treat you like a real person vs. other dealers and than he will match you up with exactly what your looking and you can go home feeling good about the enjoyable experience.

Just can't say enough good about Mike Benton. He wasn't pushy, listened to what I had to say, knew his products and didn't try and talk me into something more expensive. (which happens ALOT at other dealerships!) I would recommend Tapper to anyone looking for a car!! Mike even went and got me a car from their other lot that I wanted to test drive. Very impressed!!

As fate will have it, I stopped at the Wendy's next door to stretch my legs and get a refreshment when my car would not restart. After several attempts, I finally started my car and drove next door to Tapper Ford. Though my summer toy is a 2007 Mazda Miata convertible, I had hopes that their service team might be able to help and they came through in a big way. Naturally I had to arrange for my own transportation to complete my trip, but the service adviser, Dan Tapper not only managed the repair of my car, but gave me his personal cell phone, assured me that he would take care of my car and told me to enjoy my weekend. He also promised to meet me back at the dealership on his personal time, to pick up the car on my way back home on Sunday afternoon. As the son of a retired Ford executive and consequently a loyal Ford driver (my Miata was built by Ford), I am very pleased with Dan and my entire Tapper experience. Although I have an excellent relationship with my Ford dealership in Naperville, Illinois and have purchased many cars from them, I would be surprised if they offered me the level of service that I received from the Tapper Ford organization this past weekend. Tapper Ford worked us into the service dept., that Friday afternoon, immediately and spent lots of time trying to get needed parts for the car and get us back on the road. The parts had to come from out of state so we spent the night in Paw Paw. Tapper Ford Service worked diligently Saturday morning, even staying after there normal closing time to fix the car! The staff was very, very courteous, friendly and kind. We appreciate everything they did for us!! The overnight stay in Paw Paw turned out to be an extremely great experience. We brought in our 2014 Escape for an engine knock at 20,000 miles. After they had it for a week without calling us, we finally called and were told it would be weeks before they could even tell us what was wrong with it and it would also be weeks before they would have a loaner car for us. We are under warranty so apparently we are not important? I don't know but they had the audacity to ask where we purchased it so we could take it back to them? I was under the impression Tapper was a Ford dealership with a Service Center but apparently NOT. HORRIBLE, just horrible,

I would recommend Tapper Ford to anyone I know. We purchased a 2011 Ford Explorer a few months ago. After a few weeks, we discovered a strange rattle in the rear of the vehicle. We took the car into the service department and they discovered there was tool left in the back during some previous body work. The team took the time to search everywhere and remove the tool - at no charge to us. My second experience was taking the vehicle in for an oil change, the team found an issue with the brakes that made is dangerous to drive. Luckily this was covered under warranty and they had a loaner vehicle available until they had ours ready. Everyone at Tapper has been very friendly and happy to help - especially the service department! It's the first time I've not felt like I've been taken for granted for being a woman!

We were headed to a family function in Milwaukee Saturday morning when my dad's 2013 Taurus broke down on !-94 a little bit east of PawPaw. We looked up the nearest Ford dealer, they got us connected with Ford customer service and a tow was on it's way. We had 4 people in the car and John, Tapper's service manager drove out to pick us up. They brought the car right in and got on the job of diagnosing our problem. While we waited the staff could not have been nicer and more accomodating. Dan the service advisor kept us posted on the status and Andy, one of the sales guys lent us his demo to go for some breakfast. When we returned the car was ready, they found a recall that was improperly performed by another dealer. We were on our way in short order. Please keep in mind, we had never been to this dealer before and they treated us like their most loyal customer. I can't say enough good about Tapper Ford! Thank you!!!

Josh Wright came through on the last minute effort to secure a 2014 F-350, when few were available, with a weeks notice. I was impressed by his diligence and understanding when the first vehicle he had for me was not exactly what I was after - even after traveling to Wisconsin to get it. I got the the unit I was after on the 2nd try and all of my expectations were met at the highest level. Five stars to Tapper and Josh! The new digs for the former "Two Paws" Ford are awesome too. Especially the new car delivery bay that keeps us from the cold!

I recently purchased a 2011 Chevy Impala from Tapper Ford, from Tom Griffoien. I could not have been happier with the experience. He was incredibly patient with us, gathering cars from different lots that fit in our price range. There was no pressure to buy something more expensive than what we set on. Tom found a car that had less than half the miles of the one I originally set my mind on, without raising my monthly payment. Even though I asked to see many cars, and our experience stretched over two days, he was always very pleasant. The finance manager worked very hard to find the best auto loan rate I've ever received, which was a great surprise to see a monthly payment actually lower than what was estimated. The new facilities are beautiful, and we got a full tour, meeting the service staff that we'll be working with over the life of our car. I would recommend Tapper, and Tom, to anyone looking for a new or used car.

I was pleasantly surprised by meeting with Richard to test drive a 2010 Mercury Milan. We had spent all day on a Sunday three months ago looking around for a new used car for my wife and when we found the color of the car she wanted it was settled the weekend before we bought the car, the dealership was underway of building a new facility which had been well completed by the time we made the purchase and was it ever nice looking overall. Our salesman was caring and understanding of what we wanted and where we wanted to be with the price everything was laid out on the table and we were all on the same page and the day we signed papers happened to be their open house so we were able to celebrate their grand opening with them, upon our inspection of the car my wife discovered a serious problem with the car before we were able to take it home our salesman seeing the disappointment on our faces told us he would make things right with us for our patience and understanding and he did just that and now we are the proud owners of a used 2010 Ford Taurus Limited for two months now thank you Andrew Isbell and the team at Tapper Ford in Paw Paw Mi.
