When a car that I made over a 3 hour round trip to look at was no longer available, this dealership made no attempt to contact me or apologize for the inconvenience. No attempt was made to display common courtesy and kindness by just plain saying, "I am sorry" in a genuine way. Rather, I was told very rudely that I should just understand. This is poor customer service.

Poor service department. Just a simple oil change and tire rotation takes 2 HOURS. Then they always move your appointment out without telling you. Don't bother complaining because they don't care! Would not recommend this dealership to anyone.

I am sitting in the dealership now just waiting to sign my final papers and I could not be more happy with the team here Due to my personal circumstances I had a very tight window to make a decision and Amel and Nolan were absolutely fantastic! No hard sales, very reasonable and thoughtful advice and information, and they bent over backwards to help me. I'm moving to a different state, but I would gladly travel back to this dealership again !!

The Maintenance is very slow.I give my car Corolla 2016 for repair they are taking very long time.We give them on Wednesday they said its should be done on monday i say ok when monday came they did not fix and said it should be done on friday and toady is friday they said not done yet its done monday again Very bad

Epic failure in repair

Two visits, two hour wait and $290 later, the problem was not even touched. How could this happen? The gas tank door release handle on my 2006 Camry needs to be replaced. On my first visit, I paid the $110 for the part to be ordered and shipped from another dealer. The service person setup the appointment for me to bring in the car and install the handle two days later. The dealer called me that the part has arrived. Today I came in, told the service person my name, my car model and year and the intended job for replacing the release handle. I told the service person I have already paid the new gas tank release handle. One and half hour later, I saw my car parked outside the garage and was ready to go. I talked to another service person to process the service notes and made another payment of $183.00 labor and parts. I walked to the car and opened the car door. The new gas tank release handle was not in place at all. The intended replacement job was not done at all. I was so embarrassed for this dealership. How could it fail so spectacularly. Each and every service person and technician who worked on this car did not detect any miscommunication and passed the same gas tank release handle problem untouched to the customer after the visits, wait and multiple payments. Epic fail. There is no other way to describe it.

Bought my wife a new Toyota Yaris, When we picked it up it had a chunk out of the front bumper cover,right on the top where you could easily see it,looked like something fell on it. Salesman said we'll touch that up for you,I said no.Then they said they would send it to their body shop,remove the bumper cover and completely refinish it,I said ok. Got it back a week later , bumper had been spot painted,now the paints peeling,Thanks a lot!

We are the Chu Family. We just want to express our thanks to Mr. Richard Norman and Tansky Sawmill Toyota. On Dec 30, 2014, Tuesday, we bought a new 2015 Toyota Corolla from Tansky Sawmill Toyota and we could not get more happier than that. On that same day, we have been to another car dealership to shop for cars. The salesman there was knowledgeable, but not showing the kind of friendliness we expected to make us feel like we were in the right place. We, eventually, drove to Tansky Toyota at Sawmill Rd., and ended up meeting Mr. Richard Norman. He was not pushy at all. We are Chinese, and we were not that good communicating in fluent English. While me, my husband and my daughter were talking Chinese while Richard is standing next to us (which, I know is not polite enough), he would wait patiently there for us to finish our conversation and then do his job. He (Richard Norman) did make us feel like home, and feel like we were at the right place. Every time when the three of us were talking in Chinese and exchanging ideas, Mr. Norman would make excuses to walk away for some minutes. The fact that he allowed room for us had made us feel comfortable and easy. As with Tansky Toyota at Sawmill Rd., we are very happy that they gave us a very good deal. Went in intially for a 4runner but changed to a double cab tacoma. We worked up a price for the model I wanted but I did not finalize until I test drove the model I wanted. The price for the model I wanted was based on a trade that Tansky would hve to do with another dealer. Tansky's did not have the model I wanted to test drive but another dealer did, After the test drive at the other dealer, I went back to Tansky's the next day (Saturday) and we finalized the deal, I gave them a $500 deposit and they made it sound like the trade with the other dealer was a done deal, they even pointed out the truck they were trading for mine. They said it would be a few days to get the truck in and prep. After hearing nothing, on Wednesday evening I called the salesman, who was off, and he said that he didn't think that they had went after the truck yet. I then called Tansky's and spoke to the General Manager (Chris Carter I believe), who said that the paperwork was still there and he assured me he would find out what was going on and get back to me by 11:00am the next day. No call and at 11:30am I called and spoke to the salesman, he basically said what do you want to do, no apologies or explanations. I then cancelled the deal. I was amazed at the complete lack of customer service that occured after I gave them the deposit. I would not recommend.

This place really disappointed me today!!! I wasn't impressed at all. I recently, scheduled a test drive, since I live an hour and 20mins away from Dublin, OH and wanted to get a 2014 Scion FRS or a Scion TC. I pacifically made the appointment with Noelen, when I come to find out I was with someone. Due to the fact 2 other couples came in earlier then I did and I had a scheduled appointment first. Thought it was a little rude even though he apologized, but still was a little messed up and disrespectful. Well, needless to say, the gentleman that was helping me didn't help me at all on anything. It just would have been nice to make a deal on a car. I did want a Scion TC. Well, go to find out as I filled out my paperwork they weren't willing to negotiate with me on bringing the price down and what I pay is what I get when it says online the price is negotiable... was so messed up. When I have exceptional credit and what not. Then he goes and tells me I I have to put down a $5000 down payment on the car first, that is ridiculous and my payments were going to be this and that wasn't what I ever agreed on. And my payments were higher then what I wanted. I totally declined the offer and had to leave... I was disappointed, it was a waste of time and the quickest NO response I ever received in my life from a dealership on trying to buy a new car who didn't want to make business.. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!! I went to Byer's Mazda and Subaru dealership I highly recommend that place they are nice and friendly and they got me the car of my dreams there!! :)

He was very polite, new what he was doing with all the paperwork. I would recommend anybody to go to Tanski's and do financing with Richie. I raise him very high, five stars clear across the board for Richie. I did buy extra insurance because Toyota Prius having all the computers with that model. And Richie discussed all that with me and made it very clear, and I appreciated that! I was there without my has been buying a car and I appreciated how he discuss the warrantee and all that to me. This is supposed to be five stars care across the board. But I cannot get the computer to keep the five stars up. But I am trying to say it is definitely a five star for Richie and financing.

Previously we had purchased a RAV4 to replace our 2001 Camry and after comparing the ride with my Honda CRV I was completely sold on the RAV4. Previously I had been a Toyota buyer since 1984 and after sitting down with Richard Norman the experience was GREAT! He treats you like a million dollars and has an ever present smile on his face to go along with his product knowledge. Without hesitation I have already recommended Richard to a friend who is in the market for a new car and would do it all over again. We stopped by to have our 2001 Toyota Sunroof Seal replaced and just look at the new Toyotas. Richard Norman greeted us and we tried out a couple of cars. We really liked Richard . . . His friendliness and professional manner. We thanked him and said we wanted to look more. We stopped by to bring our Toyota back as the part had to be ordered. Cheryl suggested we look again and saw a Prius C we had not seen. Richard was there to greet us again and asked if we would like to drive one? We did and were sold on it ! We just traded in our 10 year old Highlander for a 2014 and it was a very pleasant experience! Richard Norman guided us all the way. We had a hard time deciding between two vehicles and he was unusually patient and didn't rush us. When we decided which one we wanted, he even came in on his day off so that we could get all of the paper work done. He truly wanted us to be happy with what we chose and we appreciate that. We have had our current Highlander serviced at Tansky for 10 years and always had excellent service. I would strongly recommend Tansky Toyota and Richard Norman!

Just replaced our 2002 prius which I loved and always had serviced at Tansky Toyota so had to go there again since the service has been great for years. Rebecca Johnson and Amanda Yantis were wonderful to work with and we love our new 2010 prius! There was no pressure to buy. They were willing to work with my husband and I on the price. As a result of the Service Department's not so favorable remedy to fix a problem on my wife's '01 Camry I decided to visit the newly revamped Showroom and was immediately greeted by a pleasant and very cheerful salesman by the name of Richard Norman. Having been in Customer Service for more than 20 years I knew right away I wanted to chat with this guy and see what he had to offer with the year-end sales promos that were being advertised. After a short conversation I said I wanted to bring my wife in and have her decide what she would like to do in this situation since this was her vehicle that was going to be replaced. When we returned about an hour later Richard greeted us once more and presented several options and choices all of which merited consideration. We finally opted for two vehicle types and quickly decided on a RAV4 in the end. After a few brief discussions which merited review by both sides we were able 'to close the deal' and within an hour we drove off the lot in our new RAV4 and all parties satisfied with the final outcome. Past experiences in Customer Service tells me that Richard Norman is destined to be a 'Super Salesman' and has the potential to rise above the crowded sales floor at Tansky. He is a prime example of what a true car salesman should strive to be like..outgoing, personable, and always positive even when you get a stubborn customer like myself.

I am totally in awe as how the attitude has changed with the personnel that I have dealt with since Tansky opened their newly remodeled facility. This was our 2nd visit. After explaining the problem (maintenance light 'On') to Justin in the service department he quickly resolved what we thought was going to be a far more expensive repair than what the end result, that being the gas cap was not fully locked down. This set the stage for the same event while on a a trip to Logan, OH shortly thereafter. We were totally at a loss what was going on with my wife's 2001 Camry and after analyzing the vehicle and reviewing the repair costs (more than what the car was worth), we decided to come back that same day and see what we could find in a new or even used Toyota which we both are long-g-g time owners of since 1984. Our hats are off to Justin for showing what a concerned Service Representative can do and what he reflects for Tansky. Good Job Justin!! Jan & Guie Lewis

We looked at three dealerships in one day searching for the SUV that fit our needs and Pat Perry made our day! Great handshake and smile. Laid back and informative. Not pushy at all! It is a long process from start to finish but we are very satisfied with the experience. Could have used a pizza around 6pm though:)

We were just looking for a larger vehicle like a Highlander. Our salesman Pat Perry listened to our wants and suggested a gently used Sienna van. I was not thinking a van but after taking a test drive and seeing that it was full of great features and met everything on our want list, we purchased a roomy, comfortable van. My husband loved it the moment he drove it. We appreciated Pat listening to us and paying attention to what we said. I'm loving the van and can't wait to take a trip. Pat didn't pressure us and knew best.

Pat Perry (salesman) and Rich (finance), as well as the rest of the staff went above and beyond to help us navigate the purchase of our Honda Crosstour, our 2nd Tansky Used purchase. Pat was knowledgeable, not pushy and made sure I knew about special features on the car before we left. Rich helped us get the best deal. Everyone was kind about our ever-changing schedule and were always ready to help on a moment's notice. I will always shop at Tansky!

Very unprofessional sales service. I was quoted a very good price from their internet sales person and I also scheduled an appointment to take if for a test drive. When I showed up for the appointment (on time), the person I was supposed to meet with was not there and they told me that the vehicle was sold earlier that day. I wasted my time going there to see a vehicle that wasnt even there. They could have called to let me know. When I called the sales office today, they told me that the vehicle is still available. What kind of game are they playing?

I recently purchased my new car at Tansky. My salesman, Ryan, made me very relaxed in the process. He was very knowledgable of the cars, asked questions to guide me in the selection process, and was very personable. The dealership's new facilities were nice and provided a warm customer experience. The financing process was very smooth. Would highly recommend this dealership.

Very poor service. I went for oil change on my camry and they forget to reset the oil change indicator. Previously i went for my window repair they gave me estimate of one day and set the appointment. When i went to get it fixed after end of day they said they don't have spare and advised me to take my car back which was opened for repair. What should i conclude out of this they don;t have any idea about repair estimates time.I will not recommend any one.

As soon as you start trying to haggle they want to show you the door. I'm sure if you're an uninformed buyer that is comfortable paying to much for a car you will have a good experience. If you're an informed buyer who is looking to make a good deal I suggest going elsewhere.

FROM THE MOMENT I STARTED TALKING WITH SALES REP I KNEW HE WAS A ROOKIE. EVERY FIVE MINUTES HE LEFT OUR TABLE TO CONSULT WITH THE SALES MANAGER. HE WOULD RETURN WITH NEW MONTHLY PAYMENTS BUT NOT SURE HOW THEY ARRIVED AT THOSE NUMBERS. THERE WAS NO CLEAR COMMUNICATION ON THE COST OF VEHICLE, SO MANY NUMBERS WERE BEING THROWN AROUND I HAD NO CLUE WHAT WAS GOING ON. I PUT $500.00 DOWN ON MY CREDIT CARD TO HAVE THE VEHICLE I WANTED SHIPPED HERE. THE $500.00 WAS SUPPOSED TO BE REFUNDED AFTER THE PURCHASE. THREE WEEKS LATER THE CHARGE APPEARED ON MY STATEMENT. I CALLED AND THEY SAID IT MUST HAVE SLIPPED THROUGH THE CRACKS. SUPPOSELY IT WILL BE REFUNDED NEXT MONTH, BUT I WILL PAY THE INTEREST ON $500.00. BEWARE AND WATCH THE NUMBERS CAREFULLY.

Didn't follow through with promises

Took our son to purchase his first new vehicle. Paid cash for a new Rav4. Was promised a 2nd key but never received it and since it wasn't in writing, we are out of luck. Also, we had to sit and wait for almost 2 hours for them to "clean" the car AFTER paying for it, and I use the word "clean" generously because after waiting 2 hours, you would have thought it would have been spotless but it wasn't even close to being what I would consider to be clean. Even had to have them remove a mud stain on the back carpeting after it was suppposedly cleaned. Will think twice about purchasing from them again.

I just purchased my first new car from Tansky Toyota at Sawmill and the experience was fantastic! A previous costumer told me Dustin Durzo was a great person to work with and he would get me the best deal. They were right! He got me into the Rav 4 at an amazing price and told me about the deal they were having for recent graduate students. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the vehicles and their competitors and very professional. I am so happy about my experience and excited about my new car, I recommend everyone to go to Tansky and visit Mr. Durzo if you want an easy buying experience.
