Will do anything to make a deal

Alex will do anything so you don't walk out but once you sign those papers it's over. Once you do and the car is delivered he does not care! I was not pleased with what he sent me and I received absolutely no customer service after. I went in for a specific vehicle Grand Caravan SE and he sold me an economy class without telling me. And when I contacted him he acted as if he didn't know and said read the window sticker. I'm very unhappy with my purchase and will NEVER buy from this dealership again!

Jim and everyone that assisted in my purchase of a new truck was very helpful and efficient. Jim was able to sort through the information that others had shared with me about trucks since I was a first time pickup truck buyer. Jim's knowledge weeded through misinformed information I gathered from others and was able to get right to what I needed in a truck in no time. Outstanding Experience

My husband and I were not expecting the level of service that we got at Szott. Every used car lot we had been to had been a disaster and we had been to several thus far. From the moment Rob greeted us, our experience was different. He put me at ease right away and talked to both my husband and I, not just one of us. The dealership literally worked a miracle for us and we didn't even ask for it! We were expecting a crazy high interest rate due to previous credit troubles, but they secured a VERY reasonable rate for us without us ever even asking! They just did it! We drove away the same day in a vehicle that I couldn't be more happy with. And the environment! We had 2 kids in tow that day (because we weren't expecting to actually buy) that are 11 & 12. They were catered to just as much as we were. They let them play basketball, and watch TV, and fed them popcorn. It was great not to have to worry about them. The kids even said, this place is great, we should come back! Anyway, if you are looking for a great experience and a great car, go visit Robert Pendell at Szott Dodge. You wont regret it!

Pleased with the follow up...

After a bad experience the first time with services that needed to be done, I will have to give the Service Manager Adam credit. He called me the next morning and apologized, and made the situation right. Mistakes happen, it's how you deal with them after the fact. I am satisfied with the efforts made on their behalf, and would give them another chance in the future.

I'm very happy with my most recent visit for service!

My Dodge Journey was recently taken in for routine maintenance and new brakes, plus a noise from the rear of the car. The noise had been progressively getting louder. I was concerned about safety issues regarding the wheels in the back of the car. The noise was diagnosed as worn out right front wheel bearing and a left rear wheel bearings.When I picked up the car, it braked great and all under-body and wheel noises were gone.My Journey has 210K miles on it and it sounds and brakes like new.I appreciate all the hard work and car care I've received from Adam and his team.By the way, the cost to me was very reasonable.

I have bought about 10 new vehicles in my life and have never had an experience like I did with Josh Cross at Sorts. Can't say enough good things!

Buying a car is a very overwhelming and emotional process for me. I shopped around at several dealerships and met many other salesmen with lots of different personalities. Jim Liebzeit stands out above the rest by far! He helped make the process smooth and easy for me. He was laid back and easy to talk with. He's very knowledgeable and answered every question I had. When I asked a question he wasn't sure of, he admitted he wasn't sure and immediately found out the answer. I appreciate and respect that a lot. (Which was only, like, one time, he knows his stuff!) I was never made to feel pressured or made to feel like I was asking stupid questions. Being a woman buying a car, other salesmen were rather condescending to me. Jim never made me feel that way. All lies!

My Dart broke down on March 26 and I had it towed to Szott Dodge because I had luck with them in the past. It took them two days to diagnose the problem and the concluded the engine had to be overhauled and it was covered under powertrain. The writer said it should be done by the weekend. A week went by and the writer said they are having difficulties. After week two in the shop, I still had to call to check on progress. Towards the end of the week, I called again and the writer said they had to order more parts and should be done by the weekend. I called Dodge CS and they called the dealer. The writer told Dodge a part was on backorder. The next day, Dodge said they are getting the part overnighted and my car will be done by the weekend. After three weeks, I finally got a hold of the service manager and he said he will keep me updated. Supposedly my car will be done on April 21...ALMOST 4 WEEKS! They didn't offer me a rental until it was in the shop for almost three weeks. When I called Dodge a few days ago and they called the dealer, CS said they can give you a rental and I said I don't want a rental, I just want my car back. Long story short, Szott and all Dodge dealers and Dodge CS suck. I'll never buy a Dodge again!

One more thing I have a not so desirable credit rating below 600 and I got what I thought was a great rate of 13% . Josh found a great deal on a 2011 Malibu for my son and an upgraded van, at the same price as I was currently paying, and was able to finance me for both vehicles on same day! My experiences with Josh have been very pleased. It not only was a great experience during the sale but after as well. Since my purchase Josh and I have been in contact several times. Walked onto the lot not sure what sort of vehicle I wanted to buy, if any that day, but I needed 4x4.Evan approached me in a very unintimidating manner & asked if he could help...From there, the entire process was very low-pressure & very simple.At no point did I feel like I had to spend more than I was comfortable spending, nor did I feel like the wool was being pulled over my eyes. I will never buy a vehicle from anyone other than Mr. Coughlin for the rest of my life. Josh Cross has excellent follow up and contacted us at the right time! We were literally on our way to a different dealership to take delivery of a 2014 Ram when he was able to get us a better truck for way less including extended warranty and GAP!! The process of buying a car is usually painful, but with Josh as your salesman, you wont be disappointed. They gave us what we needed on our trade. Wide Variety of Trucks

I wanted a very specific model of the Ram 1500 Diesel. I worked with Josh Cross who found an even better model for less cost per month that came with extras I didnt know I could get. I got an added bedliner, tonneau cover for example. Nick agreed that the lease would cost less later on for how I wanted to purchase my truck. I plan to have this truck for at least 10 years so I wanted to get exactly what I wanted.

When I initially thought about having to take care of my current lease I was overwhelmed and not thrilled about "car shopping". Absolutely amazing service!

I am amazed by the service I received at Szott Dodge. After having nothing but problems with my long-time dealership with my 8 month old 2014 Charger (16 visits for the same problem), I was put in touch with Jeff at Szott. He actually took the time to listen to my problems and concerns and actually spent his time helping me. I was able to trade my Charger in incredibly early without too much of a penalty, and now I am in an even nicer 2015 Charger. Alex even delivered my new car to me at work so that I didn't have to wait to pick it up. After 8 months of anxiety attacks and dealing with incompetent service and management at the dealership, I can say I have never been treated better than I was at Szott. Thank you for helping me!

Confidence

My last three vehicles I have purchased (2 Grand Cherokees and a Charger) have been just outstanding vehicles. purchased a GWC warranty that the dealership pushed heavily PUSHED by F&I then had a problem that is CLEARLY covered and the warranty company would not return our calls and the F & I gentleman would not share the email address of the individual that could have helped us..Attorney Time....DONT DEAL WITH THIS DEALER GROUP NOR PURCHASE A WORTHLESS EXTENDED CONTRACT EVEN WHEN THEY SAY "You can have all this coverage for just a few dollars more each month". That simply means that the dealership was not honest with your real monthly payment....Shop at your own risk!

Liars

Sold me a jeep that they did not have the rights to. The title was still in a mans name that was deceased. His mother was allowed to trade in the jeep with only a death certificate which told me that she didn't have the jeep in her name either. 6 weeks of I will get my title tomorrow I finally had to hire an attorney and call Attorney General on them. After almost two months I finally received my title but only after the Attorney General investigator called them. I got my registration that day. I have countless text messages from the salesman promising me a title and registration because I was losing work due to I am a nurse and drive my clients around in my vehicle. I cannot do that without proper registration and plates. A dealer plate was put on after temp expired. I had to do my own investigating to figure out the truth. After telling Brad i hired an attorney that is only when they decided to go out to the mothers home and drive her to the SOS so she could transfer the title into her name and then in Szotts. So many lies and deception that theres not enough space on her. I also never received my Gap policy that I purchased. First time buying a car for myself and was totally taken advantage of. Jamie Romeo contacted me to come and sign the title and was very rude when I told her to call my attorney because i was afraid that they would try and get me to sign back dated paperwork and how can I drive there to sign anything when I dont have plates because they were stolen two days ago. Attorney General advised them to send a driver to me and they did. Attorney General also told me that they would not back date anything. They were already in several other violations.

Driving home from work my low battery light came on (2013 Dodge Caravan 40k miles) so I brought ti straight to the SZott to have it checked out. Come to find out my alternator went bad (thank God for extended warranties) and had to be replaced. They were able to get my van in that day and order the parts. Picked my van up a few days later, working perfect, they did a great job. The only issue I had was that I had to rent a car for 3 days because they did not have a loaner car for me to drive.Great guys over there, would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy a new car or have work done on their existing car.

We have got two vehicles from them and would recommend them to anyone. NO high pressure of any kind. They went out of there way to get everything done for us even though it was late in they day. If you don't try them it's your loss.

Almost perfect experience

Update 8/3/2015:The sales team is still OK with me, however; I am downgrading my original 5 stars to 3 instead. The office lost my new license plate. I called to verify when the new plate was going to be mailed to me. I was informed by my sales guy Brian V that they had received my plate, but somehow misplaced it. They could not tell me if it was mailed to me or not because there was no tracking. Keep in mind that my temporary plate was expiring within 2 days and it was on a Friday when I called them. I was informed that I now needed to go the Secretary of State to request a new plate. What kind of service is this???? Early Saturday morning I go to the S.O.S only to find the line is seriously wrapped around the building. I had absolutely no choice but the wait because again my temporary plate was expiring the next day. I waited one hour outside and another hour inside. I even called Brian V to express my frustration, but was sent to voicemail. Thankfully I was able to get another plate. I had to pay an additional $5.10. I know it's only $5.10, but the dealership never reached out to me to apologize or anything. Later that day the mail came. Guess what was in the mail!!!! The plate that Szott M59 had originally misplaced. Turns out they mailed it, but didn't know it. Great Customer Service!

Purchased a Ford Edge from Szott Dodge back in June 2015. I am from Omaha, NE so was quite the distance from Szott Dodge which is in Detroit area. I worked with Brian Vlisides (sales person) and he is honestly the nicest/best sales person I have ever worked with. Brian went above and beyond to describe the car over the phone and answer all my questions in detail. One night I even emailed him past store hours thinking I wouldn't hear from him until the next business day, he actually called me that night after the dealership was closed to answer my questions. Talk about GREAT customer service! Ron was also great helping me get a great finance rate and helping me setup the logistics to fly into Detroit airport to have one of the employees pick me up to bring me to the dealership...Once I arrived at the airport they picked my wife and I up, and it was a short 30 minute drive to their dealership. The Edge was as described and pictured on their website. Brian immediately gave me the keys and I took it for a 10-15 minute test drive. The Edge drove perfectly and within 45 minutes to an hour my wife and I were on the road with our new Ford Edge!!! Jerry made the financing very fast and easy, and what I loved about him most was that he wasn't forcing warranties down our throats like some dealerships do. He explained the advantages/benefits of some of the warranties, but once we declined he was very respectful to not continually talk about it. Leaking Lease

Lease Journey R/T had sight leak in rear end. Mike set me up with a loaner for a day while they replaced the differential. A week later the viscous drive needed replacing. Again a loaner was made available. Other than the inconvenience of bringing it in a second time, Mike was very accommodating and took care of the problem immediately. My only concern is that the dealership does not have a loaner equivalent to what I am leasing. The Dart G/T was fun but I'm used to a vehicle where I sit more upright.

Great selection of Dodge trucks! Found exactly what we wanted on the lot. Jim Liebzett went above and beyond to make our purchase a smooth and enjoyable experience. Extremely knowledgeable and down to earth. I went back and picked up a 2015 Challenger a week later. Great experience!

Jim was great. He helped me get the car I wanted at a price that I could handle. He went through the whole car explaining to me how everything worked. He was very patient with me. I would recommend Jim to anyone. This was my second car with Jim and I was happy with both.

Szott was so easy to work with on my deal for our 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan R/T. Mike Perkins and the entire staff made it so easy that my deal was even done over the phone, I traveled from Kentucky to purchase my vehicle and it was ready when I arrived. I wish that I lived close enough to have my vehicle serviced at the dealership as well.

Extremely Satisfied

I had two tires that were damaged on my leased Dodge Dart. Dave Mead took pictures of the tires and got approval from the tire insurance carrier that came with my lease. He replaced the tires at no cost to me. He was very professional and friendly. I would definitely go back to this service center.

So I made an arrangement for a meeting on Thursday for a GMC Sierra only to find out Thursday morning that they sold it the day before they failed to notify me the day before and they wanted me to show up anyways for cars that has significantly more miles and cost more
