WHO-Robbie Dominguez, awesome salesman with knowledgeable info on the Subaru line with absolutely no PRESSURE. His approach sealed WHERE I would by my car from. Now I just had to decide which one, not easy after driving a pickup for 30yrs. He asked questions to better understand my personal needs and wants in a vehicle. I test drove the BRZ which is Fabulously Fun. I test drove the WRX, wicked handling and acceleration. Both had smoother steering than other cars I had tried. I went home with lots of info and a decision to make. I am picky and want what I want and knew I wouldn't be making this choice without some thought. WHAT- I purchased the 2017 Legacy Limited 3.6. Due to Robbie's easy going nature I felt comfortable going online and researching the other models Subaru has to offer and focused on what mattered to me most. So a few days later I went back with husband in tow and we test drove the 2017 Legacy Limited 3.6 and knew we found the right fit! Car is loaded with great safety features, bling and does not hesitate to bring on the muscle when needed, with lots of room to boot. The price definitely made it an easy choice as well.WHY- Clear Lake Subaru-I have happily driven pickups for 30 yrs and thought it was time for a car. With so many to choose from I found myself looking to see which one stood out and what mattered most. After seeing a Subaru commercial with a strong message of what the car looked like and how occupants survived after an accident my decision was pretty much made on the brand I was most interested in. The Team at Clear lake Subaru was courteous, knowledge and work well TOGETHER to give this customer a great car buying experience! I was able to get most of financing details handled over the phone which save lots of time when it came time to pick up my car. Did I mention I am picky? They happily and quickly found the car that had all I desired. Tim Spokony in financing worked to get the best deal possible for US, yes even hubby was smiling. Great Job, Robbie and Team and we will definitely recommend you to any we know that is looking for a hassle free car buying experience!

Went in to look at a used chevy truck they had listed on there used car lot. No pressure just looked at it and decided that is what I was looking for. Contacted Bobby Parker and sat down for a very enjoyable truck buying experience. Got the deal I was looking for and no pressure sales tactics. Felt relaxed and made a good decision to buy the truck. All in all got everything done and wrapped up with in about two hours form start to finish. Booby even had one of the other sales associates follow me home to take my car back when I bought the truck. Overall highly recommend buying either a new or used car from Bobby Parker. Thanks very satisfied customer.

I am always blown away by the customer service at this location. I bought my subaru here and even though I now live 45 minutes away I still only bring my car here for service and maintenance. The oil change took a little longer than expected but everyone was very friendly, facilities to wait in were nice, and plenty of snacks!

Simple and painless; found the car online about noon, we agreed to an internet price and picked the car up the same evening. The facility is spacious and inviting, kid friendly, pet friendly, and even middle aged guy friendly. The staff is knowledgeable and pleasant. We had been to a dealer closer to Katy to pick out the car, but could not get close on price. Subaru of Clear Lake made it worthwhile to make the 45 minute drive!

Went to this dealer for another reason besides trading in my then current vehicle. Had parked next to this lovely hyper blue sti. Mr. Bobby Parker showed me the car and what the exact specs of the vehicle were. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about these cars. Had a lot of fun talking with him for several hours. The deal that we were presented saved us money on two 2017 Outback models with zero percent over four years. Tim Spokony worked his magic in the financing. This dealership is relatively new, very clean, lovely displays of the cars, and the people working there go the extra mile. We were introduced to Joe Nabors, the sales manager, before leaving. Courtney picked us up at our home since we were buying two cars, and demonstrated features on our way to the dealership. I started out with just an interest in learning about a new Outback, via the internet and within a few hours walked out of this dealership with a new 2017 Outback touring model. I must admit, dealing via the internet with Dallas Hardwick was a lot easier than thought and of course less stressful. Dallas was full of knowledge of what he had available in stock and what price range I was interested in. He was able to put forth a quote in a timely fashion. Since I'm not a computer nerd, Dallas was able to show me all the new safety functions I now possess and made sure I was comfortable using them with a test drive. I would not hesitate to recommend Dallas or this dealership for my next purchase...this is a class act!

Subaru service department in Clear Lake has the friendliest technicians who really go above and beyond to service your vehicle while making you feel comfortable at the same time. My technician (I believe his name was Danny or David?) was pleasant, professional and informative and we even spoke about the new 7 seater that may be coming to the US soon as I want to trade in the Tribeca on another 7-seater, however, there are not any just yet, time will tell. Can't wait for another larger Subaru option. I loved my forester, but with 3 children and cub scouts, the 3rd row seating comes in handy. Another thing Subaru did for me because I AM busy between owning a small business, volunteering at my son's school, as well as being a cub scout den leader - they had a loaner that way I could keep my car there to be serviced while I was able to continue on with life with out missing a beat. We love the Subaru dealer in Clear Lake and are so happy to have a Subaru dealer and service center near us!

I want to rate this car buying experience as the best ever! From the moment I entered the showroom to the time I signed the contract, I felt as if I was spending my money with a dealership that cared. I want to specifically mention Robbie Dominguez as an exemplary employee of Clear Lake. He alone restored my faith in the car buying experience. I walked into a Gilman Subaru dealership early Monday morning to test drive a Cross Trek and for about 25 minutes I felt invisible. One employee asked,"Why I was there?". However, no one else ever came to talk to me. I followed up with an email to the dealership and spoke to the sales manager on the phone about the lack of good customer service. Later that evening, I went to Clear Lake. I should also state that I had a $500 deposit on a Mazda CX-5 and my car broke down on the way to the dealership (so they had a highly motivated buyer) but they could not match the offer or service by Clear Lake. During this time, Robbie stayed in contact by emailing and answering all my questions. He was patient and professional. I will recommend this dealership and specifically Robbie Dominguez when purchasing a Subaru. Finally, the first thing I do when purchasing a new car is remove all dealership advertising on the vehicle. However, because of the way I was treated by Robbie, I am electing to keep this information on my vehicle. I am a proud new member of the Clear Lake family.

Days before visiting I called and spot with Joe the sales manager and answered all my questions. They day of I walked in and met with Joe who set me up with Jacob. I have been looking for a good quality car, not too expensive but has the new look and features. So when my fianc and I spoke to the sales man and told him what we wanted, how much the payments we could afford. He went straight to it he got us the affordable but new 2016 Subaru Impreza for a great deal with great payment deal. This is why I rate this a 5 Because Subaru deserves it. I love my new car and it's just a dream come true. The one down side is that I had to wait for about 5-6 hours due to getting everything corrected with my credit check plus pay stubs. But If you want a Subaru of your dreams you can see Drew Spence in clear lake he will get the job done.

Overall good experience. There were a couple of things said in the beginning that did not happen on the day i actually purchased the vehicle, but it was understandable and the finance guy worked with us at the end. I would recommend Subaru of Clear Lake to anyone. The staff was really friendly and the sales rep that helped me, Chase Wilson, was really on top of it all.

I am leaving 5 stars for our sales guy Richard Erwin. He was so nice and took the time to help me clean out my old car I was trading in and put all my stuff into my new car ( I had ALOT of stuff) He was just very kind and wasn't pushy at all. He really seemed like he wanted to help me make the best deal I could, rather than just make a sale. A week later the finance manager called me saying he needed more information from me... a week after I already bought the car! He wanted bank statements and more info, stuff that should have been asked for when I was there buying the car. I refused to spend any more time on this, and he eventually told me he "got it all taken care of" but that was bit annoying. Other than that, my experience was awesome thanks to our sales guy!

When I decided i needed to buy a car to replace mine, which had 172K miles, I worked on the internet with three dealerships in the Houston area. As you know, buying a car is similar to signing up for a root canal without novocaine, and i was dreading the experience. The fact that i am a female of uncertain age, and blonde to boot made me even more certain that i was going to experience the "blonde alert!" when i went into a dealer, you know.. the "oh, you want TIRES with that car? that's extra" treatment.I started out with Joe Nabors, the internet Sales Manager; we talked on the phone for awhile, and i felt that he was truly interested in gaining my business: i had been in sales for many years and understand the difference between a transactional sale and one based on mutual benefit to both the seller and the customer. I felt that he understood that, and that he wanted to create a relationship that would withstand the test of time.When i got to the dealership, i was introduced to Robbie Dominguez, product specialist, who took over the heavy lifting after the sale was 90% complete. He was a joy to work with: willing to answer questions, explain how things worked, etc. He helped me sell my original car to the dealer. When moving detritus from one car to the other, he took the time to take off a license plate frame and install it on the new car. His attitude was refreshing and he seemed proud of his dealership, talking about the Service Department capabilities and all the after care that happens after the sale is completed. While he was not involved directly in my purchase, he definitely contributed to my feeling of having made the right decision.Even dealing with the money man, Tim Spokony, was good, and that's usually where the heartburn begins... T&C and all the rest of it.To summarize, i found this experience to be a great one, and i am ecstatic with my new car. I would recommend, and have done so already, Clear Lake Subaru both for the car itself, but for the experience of purchase.

Well, this was my first car buying experience. I have been to other dealerships only to be looked down upon due to my age, but when I walked into Subaru of Clear Lake I was immediately greeted professionally. Jacob, the salesman I had the opportunity to deal with was fantastic. Very cheerful and talked as if he and I were great friends - that really helped this experience for me. My husband and I came here to look at a used car that we saw on the dealership website. Andy Hollister helped us and was very patient, courteous and professional throughout the entire process. The used car we were interested in was a BMW, and when I had questions or wanted more information than a Subaru salesperson would be expected to know, Andy was thoughtful enough to have another person at the dealership give us additional information. I don't remember the other man's name, but he used to be a BMW salesperson, and he was very courteous and professional as well. I really appreciated that Andy went the extra mile for us in that respect, also. We ended up with a beautiful BMW that looks brand new at a great price. while and knew exactly what I wanted. The truth was that I was on my way to Gilman to purchase my new Subaru and then Dallas called me. There was something different from talking to him then the other car guys that would not stop calling me. He was very genuine and promised that he would take care of me and he did. My only complaint about the whole experience was that it took FOREVER to go sign the paperwork. But I am truly glad I came to Dallas instead of going to Gilman despite the length of time it took me to leave with my new WRX.

Subaru of Clear Lake have a very friendly sales team. At first when we met them, we informed them that although we are in market for a new vehicle, we may not buy a Subaru. We were there just to check how the vehicle was. Our sales person Courtney Morelle was very friendly and had no issue assisting us and providing a car for test drive. She is very knowledgable about the product and is very eager to help. We also checked Honda, Ford and Toyota products later. But we ended up buying a Subaru Outback 3.6 for various reasons. One of them was the exceptional treatment we received from this dealership. My wife felt really comfortable with this guys.( She is shy !!!). If you are ever considering a Subaru consider this dealer and I would highly recommend Courtney Morelle

We spent just over two months deciding on our purchase. Andy Hollister was patient and kept in touch during that time without ever being pushy. Chase Wilson helped us get the exact vehicle my daughter wanted and both of these professional salesmen worked well with a young driver who was new to this whole experience. I abhor car dealerships due to previous car shopping/buying experiences.Subaru of Clear Lake has completely changed that for me. Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly, smiling front desk associate. We were introduced to a very professional and personable, Bobby Parker. This is our first time owning a Subaru, and had lots of questions and wanted to test drive multiple models. I had one of daughters with me, her 2yr old self can only sit still for so long. Some amenities they have included a small playroom with mounted tv and beverage/snack bar which were a great distraction for her.Mr. Parker not makes you feel very comfortable and relaxed but also made us feel like we were his only customer. He took time explaining everything and was very helpful and patient. We had previous stopped by the Gillman Subaru location, that experience added to the car buying anxiety and extremely dislike. They were not helpful at all and seemed quite rude. But if you are able to swing by Subaru of Clear lake and ask for Bobby Parker, he and the entire staff will make your experience a positive one!

I usually don't write reviews but my salesman Drew "The Englishman" Spence at Subaru Clear Lake was fantastic. I stopped in several times and drove the 3 Subaru cars I was interested in and Drew had such patience and was always happy to see me. There was no pressure and he was super knowledgeable. I have bought a lot of cars in the past 40 years and this was without a doubt my best buying experience ever. I bought a Subaru Crosstek which I love. I also want to add that the receptionist, and the service rep that took care of the tinting on my Subaru were so pleasant and helpful. The whole atmosphere of the dealership and staff is exceptional.

there is a squeak in my engine from some belt that is an issue with the BRZ's if I had known it had this sound I never would have bought it. it makes it sound like a sick mouse.. not at all sporty for a sports car. dealership explained it is a known issue but Subaru has not fixed it.. how sad..

This was my 2nd time ever purchasing a vehicle, the service I received as soon as I walked in through the front door was great. I was greeted by Robert Parker and he instantly made us feel welcomed. I already had a vehicle in mind, it was a used truck I found online in their inventory. Robert immediately went to get the truck so we can take it for a test drive and get a detailed walk around make sure everything was good. Loved the truck, so we started the paper work. Robert made sure everything went smoothly and fought to make sure we get a great deal and the payment we wanted. He made sure we were taken care of and made it possible for me to drive the truck home the same day! I was extremely happy to be able to purchase the truck. Alright! So, after 6 mos of worry free ownership, I decided I wanted to try and trade up from my current 2016 WRX Limited to a new 2017 WRX Limited with the HK sound system, push button start, and most importantly, the blind side and cross traffic warning system. So, I texted Courtney Morelle and explained what I was thinking. She texted back and asked for some info. I gave her my pay off and told her exactly which car I was interested in. She texted back within a few hours after she met with the finance manager and the sales manager. Unbelievably, she said they could make a deal happen on the new car without much issue. They were able to pay off my current ride WITH positive equity and applied the equity into the new car. I went in for the test drive and as much as I LOVED the 2017 with all the great options, I just wasn't sure I wanted to start over on my payments which would be an additional $30/month. So, I told Courtney I was going to sleep on it. She said cool but asked if I would talk to the GM first. I said sure. He was super nice and asked what it would take to get me to purchase the car that day. I told him I loved the car and the price was great, I just wasn't sure I could justify starting over in my payments for a few options that I simply "wanted" but didn't "need". His response? "What if I can put you in the new car at the same monthly payment as you have now?" I said for sure. 10 mins later, I'm signing paper work on a car a year newer with every option available at the same monthly payment. Done deal! No tricks. No bait and switch. Honest, straight forward, and up front. I drove out of there with the exact car I should've bought 7 mos ago. As I said before, I'll bring my entire family here for all our new cars!! We will definitely be back!! Clear Lake Subaru IS amazing!!!

Awesome car buying experience. Stopped in just to have a look at a few vehicles and met with Andy Hollister. Didn't find anything I liked, but he didn't try to pressure me into a vehicle I didn't want. He showed me a few options to help me make a decision and let me be on my way without the usual sales pressure. I came back a few weeks later and ended up buying a used car from Robert Parker. Great guy, and again, none of the high pressure sales tactics I've dealt with in the past. Bobby made me a great deal and I'd happily shop with Subaru of Clear Lake again.
