All around bad car buying experience & worse service center
I am not one to write reviews, in fact this is my first. To start this is my 3rd Kia that I have owned. I loved my Kia Sorrento and my Kia Borrego. But this experience is the worst I have ever had with any dealership. My step daughter fell in love with a 2013 Kia Forte about a year ago. For starters, the salesman (I don't remember which one anymore) told her that he could qualify her if she had a "co-signer". She of course called her dad and he decided to "co-sign" after a long debate with her and myself. He did not live close and did his part by phone and fax. After having to provide almost a years worth of income verification for my husband, they were approved. We also didn't find out that they way over priced the car. It wasn't until my step daughter went into default on her loan that we found out that he was the primary person on the loan done thru Stokes Kia. When we questioned the sales department they told us that it was the only way to approve the loan. This should have been our first clue that this place is full of nothing but crooks. We ended up having to refinance the car and found out that they had charged her almost $4000 over what it was worth.Less than two months after we resolved our problem above on our own, the step daughter took the car in for problems with the brakes. When you hit the brakes they had a tendency to "stick" to the point that you had to put your foot under the brake pedal to release the brakes. They had the car for a whole day and said there was nothing wrong with the brakes at all and that they could not reproduce the problem therefore they had nothing to look for. The problem continued. When I called them they suggested we change the brakes. We had the brakes changed completely (not at Stokes)- new pads, boots, everything. The problem continued. When I called them again they suggested that we have the brakes bled because there must be air in the line. We had this done (again not at Stokes). The problem continued. I took the car to a service center that specializes in brakes. After they had the car for less than 5 minutes, and this included the tech driving in the parking lot, they concluded it was something wrong with the brake pedal. He wrote up what was wrong, he could fix it for around $500, but suggested taking it back to the dealer as my step daughter had purchased an extended warranty (as I said earlier they took advantage of her at the sale of this vehicle). I took what the tech had written up, their past evaluation where they found nothing, and all the other brake repair receipts to Stokes Kia. Will checked me in around 9am and said he would call us soon to let us know what was wrong. Around 3 in the afternoon no phone call. I called Stokes Kia and Will told me they had not finished checking the brakes. I told him once more that the problem was with the pedal. He said he would check with the tech and call me back. At 5 still no phone call. I called back and was told they were VERY short staffed and that I would get a phone call back. I called another Kia dealership and talked to their service department. They told me to bring the car in and they would check the brake pedal because it does not sound like the brakes have issues. I called Stokes Kia back and told them to get my car ready so I can pick it up. When I got there around 7pm, I was told that they had not finished the diagnostics and they could not find a problem, nor could they reproduce the issue. I told Will to get my car because I had someone else that would fix the problem. As I watched him bring my car to us, I watched the car jerk as it did EXACTLY what I told him was the problem. When I got in the car I noticed that they had not even taken it for a test drive to see if they could reproduce the problem, not even 1/4 mile was added to the odometer. No wonder they could not reproduce the issue, they didn't even try!I strongly suggest not going to this service center! This is my 3rd Kia vehicle. It may be a little out of the way to go to the other dealership in town, but well worth it. When I had issues with my other Kia vehicles, they cared and fixed the problems without trying to get me to do other repairs. I will never step foot into Stokes Kia again and will tell everyone I know the same thing.

We were pleased with our buying experience. Joe took the time to help us find the vehicle we wanted. The price was pretty good too.

Service department CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS
I took my car into the service department for an appointment that I had previously made ( 1. My appointment was not in the system). After 5pm I received a call letting me know what the issue was with the car (because I trusted the dealership I signed off on the repairs although the cost was pricey). My service provider, Will, told me that my car would be ready on Friday ( I took it in first thing Monday morning). Although that would put me out for a week- I went along with it. On Thursday, I called to check on the status of my car and was sent on a wild goose chase by Sheila. After being disconnected, I called back to inquire on a warranty that came with my car as I purchased it brand-new from the dealership. I was told that they could not help me with my warranty because the computer system went down and they would call me right back. I never received a phone call that day. The next day I called back speaking again with Sheila, who sent me on another wild goose chase which eventually led to a VM that wasn't set up. I called right back and asked to speak with Will, my service man. She told me he wasn't in and she would leave a msg. I told her that I had been transferred all over the place and that I wanted a update on my car. I didn't leave a msg and headed there. once I arrive in walking in the first face I see was Will's (he was assisting another customer). Heather and a new associate lady (both were very nice) offered to help me but to no avail. When speaking with them the only thing I inquired was "if I purchased a car brand new from the dealership, what warranty come with it". The new associate told Will I was there to see him- after helping the customer he comes to me and flops a paper down in front of me and says "ma'am your car is not under warranty I told you that over the phone and that's why I gave you the price that I did!" Taken aback I told him that was not why I was there. The only thing I wanted to know was what was the warranty. he continued to tell me how my car was not under warranty because of a front end collision causing damage to the vehicle. After he saw I was calm, he began to tell me that he was out of the office for a few day and the car would not be ready until Monday. I expressed my frustrations that no one had called me or returned calls to me in regard to my car not being ready when they told me it would. He apologized and said they would put a rush on the service and it would be ready Monday. on Monday, I called to make sure the car would be ready that is when I was told that the car would not be ready until Wednesday due to parts having to go out of the shop. He gave me a timeline of what was happening and that pacified me simply because it was more info that I had received the week prior. On Wednesday, I called to make sure my car would be ready. Once again I got the runaround and disconnects from Sheila. Finally, I was able to get a guy named Johnny. He told me that Will had already left for the day and he didn't know why I was told Wednesday because the car would not be ready until NEXT MONDAY OR TUESDAY! I am furious that I have been lied to and disrespected by a car dealerships service department! I have never experienced any thing like this and plan to post my rating on every single media outlet possible.
Great and respectable
I recieved excellent care and service and they were very helpful to get me exactly what I wanted without overselling me things I didn't want or need. I knew exactly what I wanted when I went in and they gave it to me without selling me something I didn't want or couldn't afford. The whole process only took a few hours, including my trade in and they gave me the best deal possible so I didn't have any negative equity on my current loan. Duffy was my salesman and he was amazing, kind and respectful. I will definitely go back and recommend the dealership to anyone I see!

I love how they treat me as a person. They did not talk below me. They listion to me and when i told them that i can't go over this amount they did everything they can to get me where i need in my payment.

Why I will not buy a vehicle from Stokes... * Wanted to receive a few pictures of a vehicle, but they refused to do so since the vehicle was in service. I have had a handful of other dealerships stop what they are doing and do a simple task. * I asked them to just communicate via e-mail, but they only called. Even after multiple times of saying to talk to me via e-mail * Once the pictures were uploaded to the site, it was just exterior. No interior or engine bay. * I asked politely to see if they could send those to me. Again, they call and ask for me to come down. * A few days past, and they send me an e-mail asking where I stood with purchasing the vehicle. Again, I asked for a simple request to take a picture of the engine bay. Nope. If you enjoy having to pull teeth to get an answer then go to Stokes. That should have been huge red flag to stay away from them.

Horrible service department!!! They don't know their butts from a whole in the ground! So bad that I will never buy another vehicle from them(I have purchased 3 by the way) I would rather ride a bike than have to deal with any of them ever again!!! They lie to protect one another also, not trust worthy at all!!!!!
Best car buying experience we have ever had!
My husband and I found a 2016 Kia Sorento online that met all of our wants and needs so we headed to Stoke Kia to test drive and ask questions. We already had a 2005 Kia Sorento that we have loved for years so we wanted to see what the newer models had to offer. As soon as we found the one we were looking for, our salesman came out to help us and answer our questions. Duffy was wonderful! He answered every question and showed us how the Sorento had changed in the newest model. A couple of hours later and we were leaving in our new Sorento! Hands down, the easiest car buying experience either of us has ever experienced. We would highly recommend Stokes and definitely Duffy to anyone interested in a Kia. We will definitely be back! Customer service is not good....
MAKE SURE YOU KNOW YOUR TAXES BEFORE COMING HERE! I purchased a 2015 Optima and not living in SC, they had a challenge calculating the tax for GA. Ultimately, they charged $200.00 more than should have and I cannot get a hold of anyone to help out. I keep leaving messages and nobody calls back and living 2.5 hours away, I cannot just drive there. KIA America is of no help either as they say the dealerships are independently owned. What a shame.
Trys to Sell You Services and Items You Don't Really Need
I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. I went in for a regular oil change and wasn't aware that my front tire had an air pocket on the side. Stokes Kia failed to point this out to me and told me that a tire change wasn't included in my warranty. They also tried to sell me windshield wipers, stating that they looked "squeaky" when it was only dirt smeared across my windshield. They also told me that they "don't check tire air pressure on tires" the day I received a tire rotation from them. I kinda wished I kept my old car now!
Shady Business!!!
Me and my husband went to do a trade and just a test drive,, our car is a 2011 Kia optima and we wanted a 2008 jeep liberty, the first time they where asking a ridiculous amount for the used jeep with 84,656 miles on it, they had just recieved it, the car was in terrible condition from the rear view mirror was missing it was terrible,the list goes on!!. We showed Brooks the manager better deals up the street for 2-3 cheaper and we're newer jeeps with lower miles, it still was not a good price so we left, then they called us back in that next week to work out a better deal, we go back and the other manager Don act like he didn't know what was going on, so we let him know what our asking price was, he said he wanted our business, he go and negotiate with Don, they bump the price up to 13k, they are all greedy sales man, and are trying to get over on people beware!!!!! Please do you research before going to car dealer!!!

From the minute I walked into this Dealership I could tell all of the employees number 1 objective was to do what was necessary to gain my business. Usually the car purchase procedure is like getting your wisdom teeth removed- constant haggling over price,vehicle and leaving either "worn out" or disgusted with high pressure salespeople.This is NOT the case at Stokes Kia! Our salesman Duffy Bernhard did everything he could to make this a good experience, from showing us numerous cars in the hot sun, giving good conversation and offering us cold drinks. Duffy, as well as Don Monahan spent a good amount of time with us making sure we fully understood our lease terms as well as getting us and affordable deal! I would not recommend this dealership, I bought a brand new 2016 Kia Sorento and had issues with the vehicle. Took the vehicle in to be repaired and customer service was unacceptable. Treated extremely poorly by service manager and vehicle still not repaired.

This dealer worked hard to sell us a car. They clearly know how to please a customer. I was impressed when I walked in the door at the professional look of all of their salesmen and managers and that professionalism continued throughout the entire visit. Each person that we dealt with was wonderful and we could not be happier. They were efficient and delivered on what they promised. My wife and I purchased our first car ( 4 door Honda Accord) from Stokes in 1970. Awesome car. We purchased several other different model Honda cars through the years. We recently purchased a like new used Kia Soul from Stokes Kia in 2014. Great little car. Our first service was June 24 , 2015. Service Manager Eric Dambaugh was wonderful in making us feel he wanted our service experience to be as good as possible and it proved so. Quick friendly service with no hassle is what most love and expect in a dealership.

Came to Kia to get a Kia Soul. This was my first time buying a new car so I was a little skeptical about how smoothly things would go and if I would get any hassle but they really were awesome! I dealt with Andre and he was really great! Made me feel comfortable and told me everything I needed to know! Mark in finance was also great and was so organized! They made the car buying experience a great one with no hassle and I love my Kia Soul! I highly recommend them!

This is the best experience I have had at any car dealership ever. This friendly and knowledgeable salesman worked very hard at getting me the best deal possible. Any future cars that we buy will definitely come from this dealership and hopefully this particular salesman. Going from a trade-in that got 17 mpg to a Kia Sorento that gets 30 mpg is a big deal to me. All of our future purchases will definitely come from this dealership.

My husband and I bought my first Kia Sorento 2011 in February 2010 and I have loved my Kia ever since. Went to test drive a 2016 Saturday and we were greeted by Mr. Bernhard who is the nicest man! He talked to us about what we were looking for and showed us the 2016 Sorento and talked to us about the options and safety features. We were then introduced to his partner, Mr. Tucker, as they work side-by-side and help each other with customers. He was just as friendly and knowledgeable so we felt we were in great hands throughout the whole process. I really cannot say enough nice things about both of them! They are a great team and my husband and I went home VERY happy customers with our new granite 2016 Sorento! I honestly don't think I will EVER buy another car from anywhere else! Stokes Kia is awesome and we had a wonderful experience thanks to Mr. Bernhard and Mr. Tucker! Bought my 2007 Kia here; stopped in; won't be back
I bought by 2007 Rondo from Stokes Kia and had a good experience. Left town for a few years and switched to Kia Country when their Service Department seemed to go from interest in service to interest in selling.I recently stopped by on a Saturday to buy a small part because Kia Country was not open. Drove many miles to come and pick up the part on a recent Saturday. There was one guy way in the back of the parts department who was on the phone. He was ignoring me, so I yelled, "You Who". He raised his hand. Then he got off the phone and left by the back door.I was buying the part because I am about to give the car to a relative and buy a new one. You know, after-sale service is part of the deal. Except to go get a refund, I will never set foot in this dealership again. Whether this guy actually worked in the Parts Dept. or not, he represents Stokes Kia.BLEW IT, rude guy.

The time and care that our sales associate, David Silvey, took to assist us from start to finish was superb, making sure to communicate with us, listening to our concerns and working with us on handling questions about our specific situation and facilitating the entire care buying process, with genuine concern and dedication to his customers. Something we felt is lacking from many in car selling business We were very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism, and never felt like we were just being 'sold', showing his authenticity and genuine helpfulness. Great Service
Though I moved out of the area after purchasing the car, I went back to Stokes for the first oil change and check. The staff is courteous and the facility clean and comfortable. As my daughter still lives in the Charleston area I will schedule my maintenance around my visits to her. I could go to much larger dealerships in the Jacksonville, SC area, but why bother? I know what I'm getting with Stokes and I will continue to bring my vehicle there for scheduled work.

I called Stokes Kia and not only would they match the offer that I got, they went above and beyond to make me feel like they wanted me to be a customer and that they would take care of me. This is how the car buying process should be! I am very pleased with my experience!

Overall service was great and speedy, from the time i walked in i was greeted and directed in the section i could be helped best at, kinda wish i could have gotten my car detailed but i feel had they have had more hands in that area of expertise it would have been done. I came in for a regular service recently and, as usual, the service team was courteous and professional. They made a suggestion for me to change my air filter, which was shown to me. They quoted the price before doing the work. In and out within an hour. I also spoke with John Calcutt in sales about being in the initial stages of looking for a car for my daughter. He was very helpful and gave me his information without being pushy. Very well done, Stokes Kia!
Excellent service on August 9th visit
I have owned three Kia automobiles. I always bring my current car back to the dealership where I purchased and have always been pleased with the service, on this visit, my service personnel mentioned additional things that could be done and even mentioned the recall before I could ask about it. He was extremely helpful and professional. I was extremely pleased!

Routine Maintenance & Fuel Reimbursement
The convienence of making my appointment online and the ease of working with the service representative on filling my fuel reimbursement for my 2012 Kia Sorrento was effortless. Although I consistently have my vehicle serviced at Stokes Kia, their customer service is always above reproach and I could not see myself having my vehicle serviced at any other dealership and/or maintenance facility.

Worst place I've ever been. Drove 120 miles to get a car and they had no knowledge of them selling the car. Costomer service sucked and sales representatives were very rude. Overall bad business on there part.
Service Department Rocks!
Stokes Kia called me to inform me that there was a recall on the rims on my car. They said they already had replacements in stock and told me to come in any time to get them switched. I came in two days later and had the rims swapped with no problems. The service rep I worked with was courteous and professional. High marks for taking initiative to contact me to notify of the recall, getting me in asap, providing great service, and following up to make sure I was satisfied. I will caveat this review with the fact that I have not yet paid for any service on my car, so I cannot comment on their pricing. I have two years free scheduled maintenance.

After receiving a letter regarding a recall, I called and was given an appointment on the date I wanted. I am not proud to say I missed the appointment and called later that day apologizing. They were very gracious and scheduled me for the following day. Everyone was very friendly. I told them I was going to wait for my car and they said they would do it as soon as possible and much to my pleasure it did not seem very long before I was called and told "your car is ready". I have had all my check-ups and oil changes done at Stokes Kia and have been very happy with their service. I am very pleased with my car and have recommended Stokes Kia to friends who are car shopping.

Great repair service & excellent customer service
All the work I have done on my 2011 Sorrento has been excellent. I especially appreciate the time the staff takes with the customers when the car is brought and when it is ready. I have had one major problem with the service and the manager made sure it was corrected and made sure I was satisfied. These are the reasons I refuse to take my car anywhere else but to this dealership. My previous Sorrento was purchase at another dealership in the area and I never received the level of quality service that I have received at Goose Creek.
All Around Great Dealer and Service Department
I bought my Kia Soul! in 2010. The whole process was painless and I got the vehicle I wanted that same day. Now as for Stokes Kia service department, they are all top notch. I have had my oil changes done there, tire rotations and alignments. In addition I had some warranty work done pertaining to my steering wheel audio controls and a defective sub woofer. All were replaced no questions asked. I would recommend anyone shopping for a new vehicle or for maintenance to go to Stokes Kia in Goose Creek S.C.

Bought a 2012 Kia Optima from Mark Doman back in 2012. Sales process and attention to detail was outstanding. Mark made everything very easy and efficiently answered all my questions etc. Since purchasing the vehicle I have used the service department at Stokes Kia in Goose Creek for all of the maintenance. It is very easy, I typically come in early on a Saturday and they always get me in and out. Eric Dambaugh is great to work with!

I purchased a Brand New 2014 Kia Sorrento in December of last year. My experience was absolutely awesome! From step 1 looking for a vehicle to suit my needs to the last step of driving off in my new SUV, the whole process at Stokes KIA in Goose Creek was absolutely stress free! We absolutely LOVE our new vehicle and feel safer as well with all the new features provided in our SUV. I just recently received my email for my 1st servicing. It was as smoothe as the purchasing transaction. I was able to make an appt right from the information provided to me in the email. 2 years ago my boyfriend and I purchased a car for myself from Mike Tucker. I loved my car. 1 week ago today, I took that car in for an oil change. My now fiancee' and I was talking about getting a soul. we found one we really loved. While we was looking around no one harassed us, The staff is friendly and great. We only use Mike Tucker when we are looking for a car. He is very professional sweet funny and very educated on the vehicles he sells. He remembers your name and speaks to you no matter where or when he sees you. Hes always a phone call away if we have a problem. I will never buy a car from anyone else. My Fiancee' and I purchased my dream car from him. he sat in the car with us after all the "business" was taken care of and he explained how to use a lot of the features in the car. The only problem we had was that the SD card for the Navigation system was stolen out of the car before it was shipped to stokes. They ordered me a new one and called me and kept me up to date on when i could come get it. They made me an appointment to have it put in. It was very professional. I could not be happier with my new purchase 2014 Kia Soul Plus. it was the only one on the lot like it. Even though I didn't like the car and they were getting my car in for trade they treated me like I was crap, they were only interested in talking to my husband for they could see he was tired from work and they could talk him into anything . And that's exactly what they done they sold us a 2013 KIA Soul which had a Kelly Blue Book value of $15,000 and sold it to us for $19,000 on top of getting our 2006 Ford Focus then they rail road us into a high interest rate so the car ended up costing us $32,000. And it is only 7 months old and Kelly Blue book is $10,500 so in 7 months its depreciated $5,000. So Kia Souls are a money rip off ,And this company is awful and they are rude to wives if the wives seem to have any brains .

Didn't do complete repair
Took my Kia in for aTPM light told them suspect both front sensors leak said they replaced pass side no other problem found less than 4000 miles later (just right out of warranty) they say now I have two more leaking wanting me to pay now. The one was asked about at the first service.
Excellent Customer Service
I brought my wifes 2012 Sedona in for the 15,000 service and the vehicle was taken to the service area right away while I waited at the dealership. Michael was my service representative and did an outstanding job of keeping me informed every step of the way. The time it took for the service was right on target for what was explained to me when I set the appointment. Fortunately the service team was able to find a nail in one of the tires so that it could get repaired before our roadtrip this coming weekend. I was pretty impressed that I received an email letting me know the vehicle was ready for pickup at almost the same time Michael came up to let me know that in person! The facilities are clean, clean bathrooms available, the waiting room is comfortable and everyone is always friendly. I have never had a problem with the service. I had an issue with one of my headlights, the service dept took my car to the back and within 20 minutes of being there (without an appointment) they had the problem fixed by replacing the whole lens cover!!! Recall repair
I brought my 2008 Kia Sedona to Stokes for a recall repair. It was a non-emergency situation, but they got us an appointment quickly. We liked the dealership and are happy with the work. The set up in the service department, however, is awkward. Upon entering the through the door marked "service", there is no designated place to check in. We saw 3 gentleman at desks, two of whom had customers with them. The third told us "they will be right with you." After standing around a few minutes (obviously in the way) we noticed a room with other people sitting down who appeared to be waiting. Our concern was that if we went and sat down without "checking in", that nobody would know we were waiting. After a few more minutes, one of the gentlemen who was previously with a customer asked if he could help us. He was very nice and got us on our way quickly. When we came to pick up the van, one gentleman was at his desk with a customer, so we went into the waiting room. While we were there, the other gentleman came back and sat down at his desk, which we could not see from the waiting room (and he could not see us). Another customer came in the door and he greeted her and asked how he could help her. That caused us to wait an extra 10 minutes to pick up our van while he helped her before us. Not a big deal, just something that could use improvement. Again, I liked the people and the service, and will continue to go to Stokes.

Service Department Lack of Integrity
We have purchased 3 new and 1 used vehicles from Stokes KIA and for the most part are very pleased. However, from time to time we feel let down by the service department. In the multi-point inspection done during our last service on our Sedona, the technician wrote a comment that the headlights were dim and burning out, recommending replacing both bulbs and further noting that the bulbs are melting the sockets. I don't know how you can tell a halogen bulb is burning out, as both still produced adequate light. Within a week the right headlight burned out and within two weeks the left headlight burned out. I replaced the bulbs myself and inspected the sockets carefully, finding no evidence of melting. The prediction of the headlight bulbs burning out seems too unlikely to be coincidental and that being coupled with the false statement that the sockets were being melted by the bulbs makes me suspicious of foul play. I mentioned this to the customer relations manager and she suggested discussing it with the service manager. I talked with the service manager the next time I was having service done on one of our other vehicles and he took the position of defending the technician. I wasn't all that concerned about replacing the bulbs, as they were 8 years old and not that expensive for me to replace myself. They should be replaced as a pair any way. However, I am concerned about the lack of integrity. I was just going to let it slide, but this lack of ethical behavior bothers me. A simple explanation or apology would have sufficed, but the excuses, such as I've seen this before, didn't satisfy me. Now, I'm being asked to bring in our Sedona so the service manager can inspect the vehicle and I'm not sure I want the service technician touching the headlight bulbs. Great care has to be taken with halogen bulbs, as oily deposits from skin contact or other sources can greatly reduce the life of the bulbs.

The best friends you could have for your car
We knew that we would have to wait as most Saturdays are busy at the creek. It was cold outside, but hot coffee was ready to be sipped as we walked in at 8am. The service men acknowledged us and apologized for the wait even though we barely stood for five minutes before we were out the door. We got tires put on and they even replaced the brake light bulb.....and we came out cheaper than the original estimate. We asked for the car to be done by 4 and they called us by 2 to give us the confirmation that we were ready. Most places have salesmen pressuring you to trade in and get a new car, but Kia reps are very nice. I love my sportage and I love this pit crew who are ready to help anytime I call..... This is my 2nd vehicle from Stokes Kia......I'm sure I'll purchase a third in the next year or so.....

I recently bought a KIA Forte May 2013 from Chuck, it was easy to get a great price, they are fantastic! My engine light came on in the begining of December and I called the service dept. they fit me right in and went straight to work, they could not find the problem and asked me to come back the next day and they would give me something to drive so that I did not have to wait for them to get done. My son had put in E85 gas and that was the cause, it was not covered under my warranty and they explained everything to me so well and treated me like a person not just a girl with an engine light on, they actually cared enough to walk me through everything. I appreciate that so very much. THANK YOU!!

Lifetime alignment and Timing belt
I went in for one of my alignments (that I get for the life of the car, two a year) and after they finished, I had forgotten to get the tires rotated. I asked them to rotate the tires and they informed me about the timing belt scheduling. I knew I was overdue for a timing belt change. They were able to talk themselves down in pricing with coupons and specials. Not only that, but I was able to get the car back that day.

This visit was for scheduled maintenance and the service department is a pleasure to deal with, as well. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The waiting room is comfortable and the coffee is always fresh. They always greet me with a smile and keep me updated on the progress during the service call. I could not be more pleased and will continue to frequent them for all my automotive needs.

When I have to visit the repair shop it is always a very nice place to wait (Clean and comfortable). They have Coffe available all the time. They have a table outside of the waiting room that is great for tablets/work while you wait. They were exceptionally quick Friday 13, 2013, I barley had enough time to eat my breakfast sandwich. The Service Reps are always very nice and polite which makes the experience more pleasent.

I told him about the run-around another dealership was trying to put me through, and my already-backwards loan situation, and he worked with me to get me put in a car liked with a price tag I liked even more, with a super low interest rate. He offered me more for my trade-in than it's value, and set me up with a loaner car until my new one came in a few days later. Michael was so courteous, helpful, and understanding, as I had my 4-month-old with me throughout the afternoon while I was at the dealership. I really do like my 2013 SORENTO. Now I have the check engine light on. This is the 2nd time. Eric the service manager called me yesterday and asked that I bring my car Dec.4th and the engineers were coming in to check it out. I was very happy to hear this. Oil Change and Tire rotation
Very pleased. I had received a coupon for an oil change and tire rotation and used it. It was a $34.95 oil change and tire rotation then the added charges of getting rid of the old oil, taxes and whatever else was added in bringing it to $40. They have always done well with the exception that this is the first dealer I have purchased a car from that did not wash the car when it was serviced. When I ask for them to wash it, their response is usually, "If there is someone back there to wash it and they have time, we'll try". I buy new cars every three years for myself and my wife and this is the first dealer in the last 12 years that doesn't do it. Out of the four times I have had it in there they have washed it twice, and one of those times, they made it seem like a real bother. But relative to the oil change and tire rotation, it was done in an hour and the price was reasonable. And this time they were able to get it in the next day. Last time I called, they couldn't get it in for a week. Really? A whole week for an oil change? Needless to say, I was able to get it done somewhere else and for less than they could do it(I didn't have any coupons for Stokes). Then when I tried to email the email address they give you for the service manager for, "all your servicing needs" the email came back as undeliverable. And it wasn't a typo on my part as I cut and pasted the email address. I have tried emailing different times thinking it may have been a glitch but it always comes back. The address I get in the service emails is, "edambaughatstokeskia.com".

The car I was wanting, a red 5 door Rio, had to be delivered from a neighboring state's dealer due to there being very few in the region, which in itself was not a problem. The problem, however, was that both dealerships overlooked key problems with the car surface. There was a good dent on the top rim, with the start of rusting. Along with that, there was a corner missing on the back passenger tail light. When I dropped off the car to be repainted, it took nearly two weeks to even hear back from them, and when I finally got it back, there was another slit of paint that could easily chip off and start more rust on the top rim of the car. Along with this, the car stutters at any speed below 30mph. It has currently been nearly a month, if not already, and I have only had my car for a total of 5 days.

My latest experience was wonderful, when I received the recall notice in the mail I must say I was reluctant to schedule an appointment due to my previous experience in the last location, but being that the this dealership was the nearest to my home I decided to give it another try; from the start I felt comfortable, the service manager took my call and he was so personable I was reassured, once I arrived the process started and it didn't take lone at all, so I say thank you so very much for making me feel like I can trust you again, you have really stepped up on your game, and I just love the new Soul commercial, I usually rewind and watch again.

My husband and I have done business with this dealership for going on 9 years and have never been disappointed. This is our third vehicle purchased here. We received a call a week or so ago that they were interested in purchasing back our 2012 Sorento. Given that my employment status has changed and the payments were becoming a burden, we were interested. They told me to be sure to talk to "Brooks Summers" when we arrived - even called the day before to confirm the appointment. When we arrived today and I asked for Brooks, we were informed that Brooks was not in, and had taken a few days off this week. I was annoyed. I wasn't sure if I should trust anybody else, since Courtney at the business office told me specifically that I must deal with Brooks. John caught me at the door, and caught my attitude when he told me Brooks wasn't in. I have quite the attitude when annoyed, and I later apologized for my display of said attitude. John was FANTASTIC. I told him what I was willing to pay for a vehicle after the trade in. I test drove one vehicle that I liked enough, but in the end (and after wasting a good hour on paperwork) the dealership was not able to make it happen. I explained to John that I was truly sorry to be a hassle, but I had to do what was best for my family, and my price point was firm. He was courteous and gracious and understood. We test drove a second vehicle that I absolutely fell in love with. It helped that my daddy happened to drive the same vehicle, and has a very special place in my heart ;). John didn't even flinch when I fell in love with something other than a Kia. The finance manager Mark was AMAZING with us, he made a whole lot of phone calls and by the grace of God, made it work. In the end, I fell in love with a vehicle AND they got me the price I was firm on. After THAT, I got to deal with the used car sales manager (also Mark, HYSTERICAL guy, fantastic and easy to talk to). We're military here and only have about another year in the area. We've been dealing with Stokes Kia since 2005 when we bought our first vehicle with them. I wish I could take Stokes Kia back to the west coast with me. They did not charge me for unneccessary repairs and even recommended I replace the rear passenger door handle using a body shop because it would be cheaper. I had been car shopping for a long time and when I came to stokes KIA dealership I was on the fence of actually getting a KIA or something else. I came in one afternoon and was greeted by Mark. Very down to earth, didn't feed a bunch of crap and I didn't feel pressured to buy anything. Though we test drove a KIA and after awhile things didn't go how I wanted them to, I came back the next day only to wait because the system was running slow. Mark's daughter came to the job we chatted in the midst of us chatting I came across the car I wanted! The color, style, and the other things I was looking for was in my Chevy. I had already owned a Chevy but I was very into the Cruze that they had on their lot. I came back to Mark and said look I know I won't get the car I want but if you can get me in that car I will be happy. In about 10 min they had me in my car. I was very happy with the outcome and because Mark was so helpful I was very impressed by their service that I came to work and told everyone about it! We made a good choice when we decided to look for a vehicle at stokes Kia. My boyfriend and I were looking to purchase a second vehicle. We were immediately greeted in the parking lot by Duffy. We immediately gravitated towards the Kia rio and Duffy did not hesitate to get us a test drive. He went through a thorough explanation of the vehicle inside and out. So thorough in fact that we had no additional questions to ask. The dealership had gotten quite busy while we were there so it took a minute to get to the finance office. Duffy and the sales manager chatted with us and were being very apologetic and courteous about our long wait. Sales manager even offered to buy us dinner! The best customer service My boyfriend and i have seen from a car dealership in a long time.
