If you don't ask, they won't tell. Not only that but even the basic items may not be included, so do not assume anything when dealing with them. Their claim of customer satisfaction does not apply in my case, and attempts to resolve the issue has fallen on deaf ears. Beware!

I recently bought a "certified pre-owned" vehicle from Sons, which I was told was like a brand new vehicle. New tires, new brakes, new battery, etc., etc. This was after the surprise of having the $1500 cost added to the bottom line - an amount I was initially told was included in the sticker price. Wrong. I was also told the car had side cameras. I've never heard of that on a Civic, but yay, ok. Another lie. I was promised the first 3 oil changes would be free (supposed to have certificates in my paperwork - not there). In addition, the car was to be thoroughly detailed - like a brand new car. And to top it off, he divulged my personal credit information in front of my family and everyone else in the area. But I went ahead with the deal. When he pulled the car around he explained that since it was end of day, I could bring the car back for detailing. Also I pointed out that the tires did not look new (despite the recently sprayed on shine). He said that's how all Honda tires look. Another lie. I found out later the tires were original and now need replacing, and the rotors need turning. And when I brought it back for a detail, it was merely a rinse. Nothing done inside. I had to get the stains on the seat out myself (still visible). But now my salesman denies saying anything about new tires, etc. He said the $1500 is for the 100,000 mile warranty and did not promise anything was new. Luckily I have witnesses and he agreed to buy me new tires, but refuses to pay for the rotor turning. Sons refused to do anything to fix this situation. I'm furious. Bill Liss, let's go.

Just save yourself the time and headaches. It wont matter if your looking new or used. This place is designed to scam you. Andre is the master of all scammers and he is in charge. There are plenty of Honda dealers in Atlanta. Stay as far away from this one as you can. You HAVE BE WARNED.

Everyone loves honda and thinks they are well made and reliable. Maybe that was true 30 years ago but now they put out poorly made new cars just as bad as chevy use to put out. I had a new civic that was made horribly bumper and trim not alligned right the dealer made it worse after 4 repair attempts. I traded it in for a new 2016 accord which had chunks of missing paint and then had an airbag issue w in 200 miles of driving. The third accord has a small trim piece messed up but its not worth going in for. They still havent paid off my trade causing that loan to be past due and me charged late fees and extra int. I have a bbb open complaint and may have to open a gov office of consumer affairs complaint as well to get the issue with payoff resolved. They also said they "messed up" on the contract even though they made me sit for 2 hrs and a week later tell me its not right. Incompetent is not the word for the boobs running this place. And it continues w them not paying off 58 dollars due to a late fee and additional int on the account from their delay in paperwork. No tag info received yet and I have called emailed and texted the dealership w no response. Never going back there and you can bet anyone who asks me about them will not get a positive review from me.

Brought the car in for service which was completed in a timely manner. Also requested a $30 wash and vacuum. Upon retrieving the, piles of crumbs, dog hair etc in the passenger seat, dirt on the exterior of the car easily removed via finger, windows smeared so bad you'd have no hope of seeing outside in direct sunlight. I called, let them know, he offered a re-wash. I accepted this initially then decided if that poor of a job was already done, why would I expect quality the second time around? I called again and got a refund after being spoken down to like I was a child and informed piles of crap and dirt on the outside will occur because it "isn't a detail by any means." So unless I pay for their more expensive car wash, I am to expect dirt on both the interior and exterior. If you DO get your car washed here, request LEROY in service doesn't even look in your vehicle's direction. Then once you get a filthy car back, take it to the Chevy dealer on Industrial Parkway in McDonough. Not only will a clean car be returned, but you will also be able to view your car on one of four flat screen tvs at any time.

I purchased a $175 part online from them because they had the best price. The part arrived damaged inside the undamaged box. The man who answered the parts line when I called wouldn't give his name, and told me to file a claim with UPS - but that they "don't ship damaged parts, so you'll be responsible." UPS has closed the claim, having found no external damage to the package.


Be careful of what you don't see.

I spoke to a person on the phone prior to making a 75 mile drive to see a used vehicle they had posted. I was told it had certain options and I asked if there were any suprises about the condition because the add said " like new". When I saw the vehicle itmdid not have the options I was told it had. Then I checked it over qnd realized it was heavily rusted underneath. I guessed it was from a northern state where the roads get salted and I was right. I told the salesman that the vehicle should not be sold and he told me that not everyone looks as closely as I did. I told the Sales Manager about being told how good the vehicle was and the ad that said " like new" and he told me that based on it's age I should've known better. Hello ! I didn't write the ad. So a 150 mile round trip and three hours and not even an apology. Don't be the one that doesn't look a vehicle over carefully.

I was impressed with him after also buying a Toyota from him last year. He was always ready to assist with any concerns or questions. He explained the purchase process, the car mechanics and services available to me. His personality is infectious. I definitely recommend Mr Leon Poole.

I went in on a Saturday, with an appointment, after having my car poorly serviced by a local wrench. After the initial inspection, Sons Honda found 5 major concerns in the maintenance. I don't know if it was one dealer badmouthing another to lend credibility to their diagnosis but I fell for it. I have a great used 13-year Honda Accord that I've never had anything wrong with in the three I've owned it. They recommend a timing on the top end, which by the way is very $$$. I was reassured they could complete it by the end of the day. It was suggested I rent a car as to not wait (as I had no other means of getting home) and they would call me when the car was ready. In the late afternoon, I received a call from the service department stating "a valve was bent" during the timing repair but they (Sons Honda) would repair it at no cost to me and that the rental car fee would be paid for by the dealer. EIGHT days later, after speaking to FIVE different people, two hours before they closed on the following Saturday, I was told I could pick up the car. The initial quote I received was incorrect and I had to inform the last person I spoke with that their tech, in timing my car, bent a valve, which required the whole top end to be removed and sent off to a third-party shop to reseat all the valves. Apparently, I should've been grateful for them rectifying their mistake but wasn't ever kept up to date on its progress. I was promised the return of my car FIVE different times. I also discovered that the dealer did cover the car rental but not the insurance I had to take out on it to use. They refused to reimburse me stating that insurance isn't covered on a rental they offered to pay for (which, to me, doesn't really make sense). I was given a "discount" of $100, though my rental insurance fee was $261. To top it off, the aftermarket remote start I had installed years ago was reset and nonfunctioning. When I pointed this out, their only response was that the feature wasn't a Honda product and no one in their service department knew how to amend this, despite the fact that their tech either disconnected or reset it. So, I had to find another shop, pay another $45, to have this fixed. I've never understood this kind of reasoning by ANY retail business, on shortchanging customers, less than honest "interpretations" of facts and glossing over details. I understand people make mistakes and, STUFF happens, but when no one steps up to rectify his own fault, it leads me to believe that cutting corners is more important in the long run than actually establishing a customer base. Once again, I'm on the search for another auto repair business, where my old car and my want of fair service isn't a bother.

First time buying a car and the overall experience, though time consuming, was nothing short of excellence. Muhammad, Al, and even the General Manager made it VERY clear they were there to make sure my first car buying experience was a good one. Any issues or concerns I had they addressed in a friendly manner. They even made my cosigner more at ease with this purchase which was great. They did more than meet my cosigner and I's expectations they exceeded them. I gave them hell over my first purchase and they handled it like pros. Great Dealership, would recommend them to anyone.

My internet sales rep Mohamed Kande, was simply on top of everything. Bought a Pilot in 2012 thru online negotiation. Received a very good price and smooth closing on what we agreed on. Used there service department for maintenance and have been very pleased. Because of the positive sales and service returned to Sons and Mohamed for a second car in 2015. He had to transport my Fit because of the requirement of manual trans and color. Mohamed turned down the first transfer because of paint scratches and found another outside of the area. Week later I found a problem and he insured it was taken care off immediately. Will return for service on the new Fit and sales in the future.

If I could give negative stars I would do so. I was looking for Odyssey Exl w/navi and sales rep Tamika called me 6 times on Saturday morning promising a real good price better than our local dealership. I live an hour away and drove in afternoon to get the car. On reaching there they made us wait for an hour and then told us the price was actually for Exl, which actually $2000 cheaper and that is only one they can give. When I asked to see sales manager, Otto came by one time and gave me an unbelievably high quote on Exl w/ navi. When I said it was higher than what I have ever heard he said he was going to work some numbers and then made us wait for another 2 hrs but never came back. He sent his sales guy and told us to go take that price or leave. By that time we were hungry and tired and my son was crying so my wife suggested that we should take the Exl and leave, but when we suggested that even then Otto did not come back and they refused to give us the color promised and we were just told to leave rudely by there rep. I am never ever recommending this dealership to anybody nobody should even step in there by mistake.

This dealership seems to encourage shady deals. I went in to do an upgrade trade in on my wife's Accord and wanted to cancel the gap on the trade in and not transfer it to the new vehicle. The finance guy kept harassing me about keeping the gap. I continually expressed my opinion and clarified that I wanted the refund of the gap sent to me. I also asked how soon could I expect the refund. I refused to put any money down and expressed from the beginning that if I had to put money down then I wasn't interested in the deal. It turns out the finance guy fixed up the deal to where they kept my gap refund and used it as a down payment on the new vehicle. They then proceeded to argue that they had all the documentation with my signature and that I agreed to the deal. I do not enjoy being called a liar and having things stolen from me. This guy covered his tracks so well that I knew he has done this many times. I will not be a repeat customer!!!!!!!

My son and I did our research and wanted to find the best deal on a Civic Coupe EXL. We spoke to Derek and Mohammed throughout the course of a week. They promised the best deal, and was very helpful. We came to Sons Honda last night to purchase this car and as promised they did just what had been promised. This is my 6th time purchasing a Honda and I must say it was the best car buying experience I have had. We will be back to Sons Honda in the future! Mohammed was an outstanding sales man. He was not pushy, was very friendly, patient and knowledgable. I recommend that if your shopping for a Honda give them a call, they were the best deal out there, with outstanding customer service!

Horrible experience! They are a bunch of rep offs. My husband and I were referred to this dealership by Geico's adjuster, GT, who was currently assisting us with our 2011 Honda Accord, which was deemed a total loss on May 15, 2015. We were told to deal with Derek (sale associate) and Auto (Finance Manager) once we arrived and start our process. After several negotiations, we found a 2015 Honda Sport, with a ticket price of $26,190, that was suitable for us. Derek told us there was a rebate of $3000 on the car, and with our $500 down deposit, the amount to be finance was $22690 (not including taxes). Now, we are on our way to the finance dept. to meet with Auto, Finance Manager, to go over the terms and conditions. Auto, finance manager, told us the bank approved Zack, my fiance, for 8%, but he will give us 6.2% with a warranty for 7yrs/100,000 for $2500, and the payment would only go up $12. Then, he, finance manager, added GAP Insurance for $900,and finally, their doc fee of $599, now bringing the car's total financing to over $34,000. After, getting home and reviewing everything, the suppose-to-be rebate of $3000 was never really a rebate because it was added on the back in and someone defrauded the bank by adding $1000 to Zack's income. We immediately called and spoke with Auto, finance manager, and asked to return the car because we felt like we had been scammed. We arrived BACK at Sons Honda dealership, to deal with the sale manager, Andre. Andre said he can cancel the warranty but he couldn't take the $2500or keep the interest rate of 6.2% because that was not the agreement. We demanded a new contract to reflect the $2500 being removed, Andre said he had to see if it could be done. He came back to the office with a new contract, payment was reduced and we keep our 6.2%, now the deal was sealed again!. The morning of May 30, 2015, around 9:30 a.m., my fiance, Zack, received a call from Auto, finance manager, that the loan was denied and the bank wanted us to bring the car back immediately unless we take the 8% and/or pay $440 a month for the car. I was furious and said we were on our way to return the vehicle and I never wanted to deal with them AGAIN. 7 minutes later, Auto, finance manager, calls back and states there was an error on his behalf and we could keep the car. But, at this point I didn't want the vehicle, and felt we were victims of fraud, and didn't want to do business with them. We will consult with an attorney and the media Monday about this fraudulent transaction that occurred.

This is my 2nd time I bought a new car from Son's Honda. I chose them the second time because of the experience I had the first time. I had an appointment to get my CRV serviced and ended up buying a new CRV. Mohammed Kande was the saleperson . He along with Andre Smith were the perfect duo . All my questions were answered and everthing was clear to me by the time I left. They were both knowlegeable and kept their presentation very professional. Would I recommend a friend to Son's Honda? I knew exactly which new vehicle I wanted so I started my search on the internet requesting 4 dealerships to quote me their best sale price. BJ Jones of Sons Honda got right back to me with an offer that was thousands less than the competition...but that was only the start of an excellent buying experience. I placed an order on a Friday evening. Sons did not have my vehicle in stock so they had to locate a vehicle from another dealer. On the following Monday, the vehicle had arrived and was ready for pick-up. I was greeted at the dealership the next day by BJ who first of all gave my wife and I an outstanding tour of all the features of the vehicle. After explaining and adjusting the user settings, we completed the sale paperwork and were ready to take possession of our new vehicle. After nearly 50 years of buying cars, I have never ever before had such a simple, smooth car buying experience. BJ was extremely knowledgeable and lead us through the car buying process quickly, easily and efficiently. There was NOTHING he could have done better. All we had to do was turn up!!

This was my second purchase from Honda. My first car was a pre-owned Jeep. This time around we purchase a new Honda Civic! Not only are we completely content with our new ride, but we were very happy with the buying process! I have purchased from other dealerships in McDonough and HATED what I got in return. I felt like Sons Honda was upfront about everything and really ON MY SIDE! I didn't feel like I had a "salesman" helping me but rather a friend helping me. But Derek Gaynor worked very hard with his manager to make sure that I left the dealership with a car. He was very professional and I did not have to deal with any of the problems that I dealt with all of the other dealerships. Mohammed performed like I wish all salesmen did when I was considering purchasing this new car. He didn't pressure me but he also didn't forget about the fact I was looking for another car. You matched the advertised price of another dealer and split the difference on all the additional items (mudflats, etc). Rashad was helpful and very nice as well. He provided options and told me what each did without forcing me to get additional coverage I didn't want. Because of that I actually bought coverage I normally would have turned down. Your service staff of Paul and a few others have been very friendly and courteous and listened to my concerns about a vehicle they are fixing.

My experience started via the internet. I had previously emailed another dealership and they were short and wasn't about negotiating. I then started to look around at dealerships not in my area and came across Sons. The prices listed on the internet were considerably lower than the prices on other dealerships. I decided to ask for a quote and BJ sent back a price that was so reasonable I thought it was a joke. Surely, this can't be right. He emailed me within 15 of my initial email. This was my first time actually purchasing a car on my own so I called my parents and asked them what did they think. We set up an appointment to meet with BJ and from the time we entered the door he was friendly, and not the typical pushy salesman. He really wanted to make sure I got the best deal for my money. I initially was looking at the Accord EX without the letter but he made me a deal that I couldn't refuse so I upgraded to the EX-L with the leather . He took his time to explain all the features on the car. I did a test drive and it was not the typical go down to the next street and turn around. I had a true experience. I was able to pick the color I wanted and drove off the lot one happy customer. I liked the fact that I didn't feel pressured into buying a car. It was as if I was talking with a friend and he wanted the best for me. I highly recommend SONS.

We shopped for our new car through our AAA auto club member site and found a car we were very interested in and saw that it was located at Sons Honda, in McDonough, GA. When we arrived at Sons Honda we were greeted by Kyle and Jeffrey who were both exceedingly nice, We test drove the car and it was exactly what we were seeking. We also learned that it was a Certified Used Car which is what we were hoping for. The remainder of our experience was equally pleasant and stress free. We feel we got excellent value both in the price we paid for the car and in the trade-in value we were offered for our 1996 Honda. We also received an additional discount by being a member of AAA auto club. One final word concerning our trade in. We did not bring the Title to our old car with us on the day of our visit because we did not have the time to retrieve it. This proved to be no problem and we completed our purchase with the offer that since Jeffrey would be in our area the following day, he could pick up the title from us and save us a return trip. Jeffrey was as good as his word and came to our home on the following day and picked up the title from us. We both appreciated their consideration and we would highly recommend their Dealership when considering a used car purchase.

Purchased a used 2013 Honda Crosstour after driving two other makes we liked the Crosstours room and options...The sales staff was super to deal with and we felt no pressure from them at all which was a big plus in our book after four trips and making up our minds we purchased the car...We are getting 34 mpg on the highway and 23 around town which at todays gas prices we are very happy with...After owning trucks and vans the past twenty years adding a car to the family was a big change but we are really impressed with the crosstour and are glad of our purchase...The only down fall was that this was the first automobile we bought at a dealership where they didn't fill up the tank for you..but we will return and refer family and friends to sons honda..!!

From the initial start of our visit Sons Honda was extremely professional, respectful, and hospitable. We purchased a 2011 Honda Odyssey with no pressure whatsoever. Normal negotiations are usually quite stressful, not here. It was easy from start to finish. We completely enjoyed the experience and recommend anyone considering purchasing a vehicle to visit. Salesmen Tim Baxter and Dave Davis were great. Managers William Jackson and Jason went above and beyond my expectaions. I did bring the vehicle in a few days later to have the tires checked and a trim clip replaced and the service was done immediately on a Saturday. Normally I would expect to wait hours just walking in like that. I also asked to have the vehicle re detailed and Cody (exceptionally impressed by that young man)made sure that the vehicle met my standards with no questions asked. I was looking for a good used vehicle for our daughter, tried to work with this dealership for almost a week. Couldn't get solid numbers out of them, numbers kept changing, plus when I finally saw carfax the car had two accidents and probably should have been sent to auction. Dealt with Internet staff would not listen to the customer, every time I turned around number were increasing, adding dealer fees and additional costs (not mentioned in talks) because I was out of state? I initiated my purchase inquiry with a clear and specific set of requirements that would need to be met if I was to become a customer at this dealership. I listed them, and indicated that I had a current, longstanding relationship with another dealership who wasn't interested in meeting my requirements (very disappointing) and that two other dealerships were very interested in luring my business away from this side of town. I indicated that I knew what I wanted, knew what the financials needed to be, knew what the financing terms needed to be, and knew what I wanted in the way of a trade valuation for my current Honda....and, I wanted a very specific "package" and color scheme. Andre, and BJ never blinked or seemed wary....they went on a search, and within two days we had a deal that would be predicated upon finding the exact vehicle (it didn't exist here in the metro Atlanta area)....they found one in Tennessee and swapped vehicles to accommodate me and my desires. Everything happened on Friday afternoon and after a thorough intro to the vehicle and it's new features we were delighted to drive home in our new vehicle. Thorough, efficient, informative and no game playing. I would recommend this dealership to anyone considering purchasing a new Honda.

My experience at Sons Honda was definitely different. When I got a chance to meet with Mohamed Kande to see the 2007 Volkswagen Passat I had no intentions on buying the car. One main reason was due to this was my first time buying a car, and secondly Mohamed told me that "This would be the easiest and most convenient experience to buying a car." I didn't believe it but he made it happened. Not only did he lower the payment expectation I requested, but also helped as far as service when the car seemed uneasy. They lost our house keys and other car key when we gave them our key chain to put the keys on from their vehicle. My initial POC (point of contact) was Sam Burgess who was the most friendliest Sales Associate I've ever had the pleasure to conduct business with via telephone. MS. Sam provided me with EXCELLENT customer service which made me feel comfortable to confirm my appointment the next day to come in and test drive a couple of vehicles. Within 20 minutes from my phone conversation with Sam Burgess, I received a confirmation email from Mr. Quentin Stephens (General Sales Manager) about my appointment and how excited he was meet me. So now, Im anxious to go car shopping. With the upfront friendly customer service, I can only image what was to be expected when I got to the dealership. So now, it's the next day and Im ready to test drive some vehicles. To my surprise, I was the first customer of the day and was welcomed by Ashtin Sims (Sales Associate). Ashtin took great care of me. From the time I walked in to the time I drove off the lot Ashtin was perfect. I test drove 2 vehicles and I fell in love with my second choice. The price was right, the quality was wonderful and the actualy transaction of financing the car was painless. I just purchased a new 2013 Honda Odyssey. My Sales Rep was Tim Baxter. Long story short - My wife and I showed up, located the exact car we wanted, test drove and purcashed it the next day. Car was spotless and drives great!!!! They had a new owners orientation a week later that informed us of discounts, a maintenance program and a walk-thru of the repair shop. The shop was clean and all the associates were on hand to answer any questions about our vehicles. I would recommend this dealership if you have plans of purchasing a vehicle in the future.

Appreciative of the fact Tim showed respect and professionalism. Not too excited about having to play games with the manager, though. I understand everyone is there to make a living, but it doesn't make sense to (seemingly) exhaust the customer. We have always dealt with Bellamy- Strickland in the past and have been able to shoot straight with our salesman, so we may just be a little spoiled. On a positive note, you guys were far superior to McDonough Toyota. You could see right through the "old school" tactics they were using over there. By the way, it was a little strange to me that the salesmen at Son's didn't really have their own space. I may be wrong, but it just appeared that they were just being used as a go between for the manager and not part of the Son's "family". Regardless, we love the Odyssey and would come back and buy from Tim again. **One more thing- frustrating to have to create an account to submit this review!:)

I communicated via email with Mohamed for a couple weeks before I was able to drive down and see him and the cars on their lot.First, the prices I found online were exactly the prices I found on the lot. Mohamed took me out in 5 different cars to help me get a feel for the different options, and I settled on a coupe that I liked.As for my trade, they met my expectation in terms of my trade in value, and soon after that we had a deal.Lastly, since I purchased the car on a Sunday and the detail crew was not in that day, Mohamed told me to come back at my convenience to get my car detailed and have floor mats put in. He took care of this today, exactly as he said he would. Very honest and fair dealings with Sons Honda. I plan to go back in a few months to replace our other 11+ year old minivan.

I have bought a part online from sonshonda to be mailed internationally to me. A wrong part arrived - it was a rather small "LENS (COURTESY LIGHT)" (34261-SJC-A01). They used a box 75 inches by 50 by 35 for that. Reply to my email was: "Thats just the box we shipped it in. The part sare in that box." Then, no reply to the second email in 24 hours. I had to start a Paypal dispute to get the correct parts mailed (in the right size box this time).

Mohamad was a great sales associate who helped me get into the car I wanted. He explained things in detail and answered any questions that I had. He provided me with multiple facts on the vehicle I purchased and went over all documentation clearly. The Financial Associate Jason on the other hand was a bit rude and was on the phone with others a majority of the time I was signing documents, which I did not appreciate. I saw a car that I was interested in on the internet. The car had just been listed and the price was outstanding based ont the year and specs it was offering along with the unbelieveably low mileage. I immediately called and spoke with a young lady who was very polite and made an appointment to see, test drive and ultimately purchase. I made my appt for the next day. The next morning I spoke with the same young lady several times because of conflicts in my schedule. The last called made prior to my visit was to let her I know I was on my way and that it would take me about and hour to get there, but I was still coming. I arrive. I had been told that the vehicle would be pulled up and ready for my hubby and I to see when I got there. We saw the vehicle being pulled up to the front. After about a 7-10 min wait for our pre-arranged salesman, the same young lady from the phone came to us and introduced us to a new salesman we would be working with. She explained the vehicle we came to look at and he frankly stated it was sold the night before. I couldnt believe my ears. It was the same car that had been pulled to the front, but apparently for the new owner to come pick up. Upon hearing, my hubby and I walked out to leave and no one tried to apologize or even really offer anything. After walking outside I turned back around. I work in the service business and know the importance of client feedback so I went back in and requested to speak to a manager. After waiting, my original salesman, Ahmad, came over, apologized and told me I would be speaking with LaTanya Crawford, Internet Mgr, regarding the situation. He was very polite and seemingly sincere and I appreciated it. When Ms. Crawford came over she spoke with me, she listened and politely answered my allegations with acceptance and apologies. She then asked if there was any other vehicle I would be interested in and I declined, however she offered to look throughout their network to see if there was any other cars with similar specs. She did find one and and had me come look at the online printout. It had about 100,000 more miles than the car they had. While I appreciated the effort, the 100,000 mileage diffrent amused me. They thanked me and asked for my info to stay in touch and we left and made our lengthy trip back home. Overall, I will say, I did appreciate their sincerities and how they listened. Car shopping is daunting because of the fact that in all honesty, most of these sales people can give a damn about you, your family needs, bank account, all they want is that commission, and the higher the better. So I will give SONS HONDA credit for that. What I did stress is in the future, please verify the car is still presently being offered. No one wants their time to be wasted and after traveling an hour and a half to come to them, I was very displeased to know I spoke with the young lady several timesm before coming, thus giving her an opportunity to quickly check. I would have also apppreciated a minor incentive, like a $10 gas card or something to show they truly valued my (future) business. They stated they may have more cars in the future that I may be interested in, but after wasting a whole half of tank of my gas, I highly doubt I will being traveling back down there.

The sales guy Taj Middleton was very nice. However, the finance guys were very pushy, arrogant, and obnoxious. Over the course of our buying process, I talked to 2 different people (sorry I dont remember names.) Although I repeatedly denied the extras (like GAP) that they were trying to add to my loan, they continued trying to sell me these add ons - not just once or twice, but at least 7 or 8 times. Even after they could tell I was getting annoyed, while they were offering reduced interest rates to compete with my credit union, they continued trying to add the GAP coverage to my loan. I also was very disappointed in the cleaning of the car. I was told that the car would be detailed thoroughly. I even pointed out a few things that needed cleaning and I was assured it would be taken care of. After picking up the car, I noticed that the interior looked the same as it did when I pointed these things out. If it was cleaned it was not done affectively.

I have tried three times now to purchase a vehicle from this dealership. My sales representative, Kevin Frye has always been amazing. However I can not say the same for the management. I worked with Andre Smith for a week making sure that everything was perfect for the deal that I needed to make the sale work. I provided them with all information and what I would be willing to do as far as payments and down payments, trade in, and payoff. I provided the credit application and all information that would be needed to seal the deal before making the nearly hour and a half drive down to this dealership. I received confirmation via email at the end of a string of about 30 emails between myself and the dealership that everything was in place and the deal met with what I was looking for.So I drove 50 miles to the dealership with my kids that evening. What a waste of our whole families time just to be told when I got down there that not only was the payment higher, not inclusive of all the features I asked for, but also that I would need a down payment due at the time of the deal. Wouldn't even offer me a hold check option. Andre continually pointed out that it was a nice vehicle downplaying my current vehicle which was a 1 year old model of the vehicle I was looking at.Fortunately for me I was able to get the deal worked out the following day at Gwinnett Place Honda who tried a similar stunt on me last year, but was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING this year.I know that all car dealerships are in it to make money, and I understand that things don't always work out, but the blatant dishonesty of Andre Smith advising me falsely that he had everything worked out is appalling. I will never work with Son's Honda again which is a shame with as nice and professional as Kevin Frye was with my whole family.UPDATED 7/23/2012To Mr. Felton,I wish I could speak with you regarding my experience, because all options were not explored. I made the exact deal the following day, so the only difference was that Andre Smith was not trying to make a deal. As I mentioned over and over, if the deal wasn't going to work, I wouldn't have wasted my evening. I would have just gone straight to Gwinnett Place Honda, who did make the deal work.I also wanted to share with anyone who reads my review and the comment left in reply, that the gift card mentioned in the message from the dealership has never been received. My husband and I could not have been more pleased with the staff at Sons Honda. The entire experience was a pleasure. We decided it was time to trade in my 2003 Accord, but we were undecided on what new vehicle to purchase. During our initial visit/test drive Tim Baxter was wonderful. He was very patient as we test drove several different models on the lot. We had a tired, hungry four year old with us that Tim not only brought some bottled water, but he listened to her rambling stories as my husband and I took turns driving. He was very knowledgable about the different models we test drove as well, answering every question. When we told Tim we were going to look at other car brands, there was no high pressure sale. He not only mentioned a con of one of the mentioned brands but he also pointed out a positive, which I respected. Tim followed up with phone calls and kept us up to date on current incentives available thru Honda.Unfortunately, when it was time to purchase Tim was not working, but he continued to take care of us by referring us to Oscar. He had a smile that could light up the already sunny day. His disposition is an asset to your company. The hardest decision to make was what color to choose. Oscar had our 2003 Accord appraised while my husband and I made our decision. When the "numbers" game began there was no game at all. Another pleasant surprise. They gave us a fair price for my trade and a good price for the new Accord. When Oscar presented the figures it was very easy and comfortable to say "this looks good, where do we sign?". We had been pre approved for our loan prior to coming back to the dealership. Otto, in finance gave us an interest rate a full 2% below the credit unions rate of 3.9. Not only did he beat their interest rate, he called the next day to say he had an even better rate for us at 0.9%. Again another pleasant surprise from Sons Honda.So, the answer is YES we would highly recommend Sons Honda. I initially visited Sons Honda to test drive a new 2012 Civic Sedan. The salesperson was friendly and professional and had us on the test drive in no time. I am car person and I know my way around an engine and I do a lot of research before I even go to a lot, so I usually ask the salesperson difficult, but important and succinct questions. The salesperson was happy to accommodate all of my questions and concerns. When I returned to buy the Civic, the salesperson called in advance and had the car set aside for me. We then went through negotiation and financing. The only problem I had with the entire experience was how long financing took - we were at the dealership for about 4 hours. However, the team at Sons Honda was able to work with me and achieve a financing agreement that got me the payment, term, and interest rate I desired and deserved. Overall, I am very impressed with their professionalism and friendliness. These are real people, not just blind salespeople after your money. I just hope that when 5,000 miles rolls around their service department is as good as their sales department.

Not only was Tim kind and helpful, he was also very efficient and quick with dealing with a 2 car purchase. I have used Conyer's Honda before and it took 8 hours for them to have me in my new car HOWEVER, at Son's it took Tim 5 hours and had me walking out with 2 cars!!! While not convenient to my home in North Fulton county, the price I received from Rashad and Sons Honda made the drive worthwhile. I was looking for a new Fit Base for my college bound daughter and requested internet bids from dealers in the Atlanta metro area. I also used USAA's Auto Buying service to get additional bids, one of which came from Sons. Rashad contacted me and I was able to negotiate a significantly better price which allowed me to purchase the Sports model for little more than some of the quotes I was getting from other dealers on Base's. As to the buying experience, it was as painless as possible. Rashad was helpful, professional and friendly. He not only gave us an overview of the car, he showed us around the dealership and introduced us to the Service and Sales Managers. He did an excellent job of explaining all of the various forms and steps involved in the process. All the sales personnel at Sons Honda were very friendly and welcoming when I arrived from out of town. I reside in South Carolina and had inquired about a used car I had seen on their website. I left an inquiry over the weekend and was contacted very soon thereafter by manager B.J. Jones, who was extremely helpful in answering all my questions prior to me making the trip to Atlanta. It was important that I crossed all my t's and dotted all my I's before driving 5 hours to look at the vehicle. I can honestly say that Mr. Jones was more than helpful regarding all my questions. Mr. Jones even held the car for me to make sure it was ready and waiting for me to test drive it when I arrived from out of town. We purchased our Honda Odyssey through the Consumer Reports car buying service. 3 dealerships contacted us. Sons Honda (BJ Jones) was our first contact. BJ gave us the best deal and was by far the most knowledgeable about the vehicle. He was easy to talk to and we knew right away we wanted to work with him. BJ came to get us when our old navigation system took us the wrong direction on the way to the dealership. (By the way the dealership is right on I-75 and easy to find if we had just asked!)Sons Honda gave us a deal the other Honda dealerships in Atlanta told us we couldn't possibly get unless the car had been on the lot for a while. Our new Odyssey still had the plastic on the floor and on the instrument panel when we first drove it. It arrived the day before. The other dealerships were asking $1400 more than Sons and they were more pushy. Sons Honda exceeded my expectations on a car purchase experience and we have already recommended them to our daughter and our neighbors. The service I received was excellent to say the least! Every last detail was gone over with as much professionalism as anyone could ask for. I was not able to drive the vehicle away on the first visit and it is a couple hour drive for me to get to the dealership. This by far was a God send to see this car on the internet and call before anyone else had a chance to call. I knew the price was more than I had in my budget, but I thought if they knew I had cash, just maybe they would work with me. I've had problems in the past with other dealers and salespeople BS and was in no mood. I called and got LaTanya and low and behold she was the most pleasant person I've ever spoke with regarding purchasing a car with cash. I told her how much I had to spend and if she could some way work with me, because I did not have any extra for tag, title and registration fees that it was what it was. Mrs. Crawford said that they would check with her superior and give me a call back in 10 minutes and she did what she said she would do, which was very surprising to me. Salespeople from other dealers that I had contacted in the last couple of weeks was not as accommodating and kind of rude. Mrs. Crawford said that they would take what I had and all fees included. She asked when did I want to come out to look at the car and do a test drive to make my mind up. I told her I would come the next day and gave her a time. She then put me in contact with Mr. Gregory Johnson and he was just as pleasant the the very best customer service, I told him if they would put in writing the agreement that I made with Mrs. Crawford and email me the Carfax as well, he said he would and did. Mr. Johnson called me back 45 minutes later and told me that he had ordered new tires for the car and it would be ready the next day after the test drive and they would repair anything I found that needed repairing on the car and put it in writing, that I found to be very surprising and was very pleased at the professionalism and great customer service I received. I would wholeheartedly recommend Sons Honda, and particularly, Internet sales' Kevin Frye. He was absolutely a pleasure to deal with (something we don't often get to say about car salesmen)! Not only did Sons meet the pricing I was looking for, they did it with absolutely no BS (another something we don't often get to say about car salesmen). The paperwork was done ahead of time, the car was waiting when we arrived, and it was by far the most quick and painless car buying experience I have ever had. In the two days I have owned my car, I've already recommended Kevin and Sons to at least a dozen people. I see other new Odysseys on the road and think, "Betcha didn't have the experience I did!" I had been researching the 2010 Honda Accord exv6 w/navigation and had contacted a certain detailer that was much closer to my home, and was not impressed and did not receive much help from that dealer; so I emailed the next closest dealer to me which was Sons Honda and received an immediate response from Mr. Kevin Frye. He had all the answers to all of my questions and went far and above--very knowledgable. He was very friendly, open and honest, I never felt pressured during the purchasing process. I had my mind made up for this car in a certain color with several added accessories. But once I was ready to make the purchase, Mr. Frye was unable to locate this particularly car (due to end of the year clearance), so he encouraged me and my husband to come in and take a look at the 2011 Accord.I was so disappointed but thought I'd just go anyway and I was just blown away by this car! Mr. Frye was able to get the car in the color that I originally wanted in the 2010 with all the accessories--He actually remembered everything that I wanted. I recently purchased a new Honda Fit from this dealer. Their guarantee to beat anyone's price was the reason I started working with them, but it was their customer service that eventually sealed the deal for me. All of the price negotiation and was done via phone and e-mail, and Kevin and LaTanya were very responsive and easy to deal with when I was pricing between different dealer quotes. Just before I finalized my decision I was down to speaking with just one other dealer, and with them it took nearly five tries through their phone system just to get to someone's voicemail. With the price to the point that I was comfortable with, I based my decision on the fact that Kevin and LaTanya were much easier to communicate with. Once we'd agreed on a price, Kevin went out of his way to make sure we got our top color choice, which they ended up getting from elsewhere. When we arrived at the dealership and inspected the car, he was extremely particular about making sure the car was clean before letting us take it - noticing things we weren't paying attention to. He also gave a great explanation of servicing requirements so that we wouldn't have to spend any more than necessary. At no time did I feel pressured to buy excess options, and when I did ask for the center arm rest option he gave me a price around $30 less than I'd seen elsewhere. Throughout the whole checkout process he was extremely friendly and patient, as was everyone else we interacted with. If we stay in the area and want a Honda in the future I don't see any reason why I wouldn't come back to these guys.

My husband and I were traveling to Florida from Cincinnati in my 2008 Honda Accord V6. I LOVE my dealership, Performance Honda, in Cincinnati and had scheduled an appointment for when we returned home from Florida. While cruising through Atlanta the "wrench" light came on, the car had 29,850 miles on it. We saw the billboard for Sons Honda in McDonough, Georgia and we easily followed the directions, exited the highway and pulled into their service department. We thought we would grab lunch while they checked out the car. The service department was quick, attentive, and courteous. Brian got us right through in about 45 minutes. The oil was changed, the tires rotated, filters changed, and brakes checked. While we waited we were invited into the waiting area for drinks and donuts. Two salespeople spoke with us and were genuinely friendly and wished us well. We walked around the lot looking at new cars when we were approached by Maurice who was equally friendly and had a smile that could light the night time skies! I can honestly say the purchase of my wife's Honda Civic at Son's was one of the best (if not the best) car buying experiences I have ever had. The people were professional and friendly throughout the whole process. Even before I made it to the dealership they stayed in contact with me by phone or e-mail letting me know what was going on with the car. When my wife and I arrived they were johnny-on-the-spot to meet us and welcome us, then made water and fruit available to us for refreshment. When I began doing research on the 2010 Honda Accord EX-L V6, I submitted a quote request through Edmunds.com and was contacted by 4 out of the 5 dealers listed in my area. Sons Honda gave me the lowest quote out of the 5, both on the model with the navigation system and without. So, I talked with Hersel Gunn, the Internet Sales Manager at Sons Honda and 2 other dealers for a week, learning about the options on the car and negotiating the terms of a possible purchase, and by the end of the week, Sons was still making me the best deal on the car. Hersel was, by far, the most responsive and most knowledgable sales person of the 3 that I talked with. He always returned my phone calls and emails very promptly and always answered my questions fully (and there were lots of them!). He also has a great personality and was actually fun to talk to, which helped to make the whole experience the best car-buying experience I've ever had....and I'm 49 years old! I was undecided as to whether to spring for the Navigation System, or not. Hersel explained some of the features of the Navi just over the phone with me and of course, made it sound just wonderful, but he never got pushy with me, which I very much appreciated. He also sold me on the moonroof visor (a dealer add-on), as to the quieting effect that it has, which makes it so much nicer to have a conversation in the car, listen to music, or even talk using the Bluetooth! I never would have kept that option on the car if he hadn't told me about those benefits. When my husband and I went to the dealership, Hersel demonstrated the Bluetooth and Naviagation systems for us and of course I wanted them! Then I found out there were no Dark Cherry Pearls with Navi available in any neighboring states! (I was buying at the end of the model year). I was crushed! Hersel gently asked if I'd like to take a look at the Bali Blue Pearl (Gently, because he knew I had my sights dead-set on the Dark Cherry with Ivory interior!). He said it was a really pretty color and he thought I might like it, but they had just sold the only Bali Blue w/Navi that they had. They only had a Bali Blue w/o Navi on the lot, so if that did turn out to be a workable option for me, they'd see if they could find me one of those. Again, he came across as just making a helpful suggestion; I didn't feel like I was being pushed toward something else just for the sake of him making a sale. Once I saw the Bali Blue, I decided to get that color with the Navi instead of a Dark Cherry Pearl without the Navi, so Hersel had to spend the afternoon driving to another dealership to pick one up for me. As it turns out, I absolutely LOVE the Bali Blue Pearl, and the gray interior is a lot prettier than the gray interior that was in my 2004 Accord, so even though it's not the color I originally set out to get, I think I actually have an even prettier car! And, I've already fallen in love with the roof visor, Bluetooth, and the Navi. Everyone at Sons Honda was very pleasant and friendly, from the Receptionist, to the other Salesmen, to the Finance and Insurance guy. While we were at the dealership completing our purchase, the Sales Manager came over and introduced herself and congratulated us on our new car.Before we left the dealership, Hersel showed us a lot more about the Bluetooth and Navigation since we had never used them before. He also took us over to the Service Department and introduced us to their Service staff and showed us around the Service Area.So, to sum it all up, I got a GREAT deal on a great car at Sons Honda! Working with them on getting this car was actually a pleasurable experience (and I have NEVER said that about buying a car!) and I am 100% satisfied with their level of customer service and professionalism. I have owned two Hondas so far, and I do not think I would want a different car. I have bought an Accord both times and still enjoy them to this day. Ms. Duncan was the sales person who talked me into the accords both times. Ms. Duncan made buying a car painless. She was a tremendous help with her knowledge for Honda's. Sons Honda made me a great offer and I am happy with my Accord.
