We finally found what we were looking for after 3 months of looking and being very picky!!! Found a used '16 Acadia with only 4,700 miles!! {perfect) We had emailed and said we were interested, and up front told them I was going to pay what they were asking, and they gave us thing we couldn't refuse for the mileage it has. For that I commend them, many places refused to budge on their price.My only disappointment, I'm loyal to USAA. We walked in pre-approved and ready to buy, paperwork in hand ready to roll. For some reason, they were really reluctant to sell me the vehicle under my own pre-approved paperwork. Started out them telling me in a nutshell, that we couldn't drive the vehicle home unless we use their financing. We were very irritated, I was ok having a slightly higher interest rate (2.74%) because I wanted my own bank to have it. I think finally they knew we were going to walk, and they asked for an opportunity to beat that interest rate, I disgruntledly agreed and said it has to be under 2%. They finally did agree to finance it through USAA if they couldn't beat mine, and they did (2.04%), it took awhile and some negotiating with the finance manager. Overall it was a great experience, would have still preferred my own bank to have it, but overall it all worked out. We'll definitely go back and give them an opportunity again right away!!

This was my first time buying a car from Snell. From the beginning to the closing and delivery, I had the opportunity to work with a number of individuals at the dealership all of whom displayed the utmost level of courtesy, professionalism, and help. From Drew Dauer who was really excellent in working with me on the details throughout the purchase process and explained to me all the many gadgets and functions of my new Cadillac XT5, to Jon Teeslink who put before me all the options which really helped me a lot in my final purchase decision, to Dustin Baker who was amazing in explaining everything in the final paperwork. Dustin was also so courteous when I called him 10 days after purchase asking about something not related to his job. He called me back after less than a minute with an answer. That is what far exceeding customers expectations mean. I am extremely happy with Snell, and highly recommend it. Thanks Drew, Jon, and Dustin.

Up front, I want to disclose that my father sold GM products for 40+ years. I have been in sales since 1978 and I am very critical of the sales people I work with. That said, I want to relate our experience from yesterday with Brian and Snell Motors...My wife and I had recently rented a Cadillac ATS Luxury model while on vacation in North Carolina. Both of us were extremely impressed with it. Doing some research on getting home I determined that the Premium model would be a better fit for what we would want. In looking for a Certified low mileage ATS Premium model on the internet - we found one at Snell Motors in Mankato. As this is an hour and a half drive from our home, I called to confirm that the unit was still available.Luck of the draw, Brian Holmen took my call. Over the phone, Brian's demeanor was very positive. He checked to confirm it was still available, which it was, and I told him that we would like to drive over and see it..Upon our arrival, we met with Brian. The ATS was actually being detailed for our inspection, so we made small talk while waiting. Brian did an excellent job of building rapport and working in a consultative manor. My wife, who is very intolerant of "high pressure" tactics was immediately put at ease.The detail person (I think it was Jacob) brought the car into the showroom and we spent 10 - 15 minutes looking over the car while Brian, Linda and I discussed features and controls of the Premium model.Now time for the test drive. I know the "typical" routine is for the salesmen to ride with the customer. Brian understood that we were serious buyers and knew what we were looking for. He offered to let us take it on an extended drive by ourselves. Major brownie points!Upon return, we let Brian know we were very happy with this car and wanted to own it - if a proper deal could be worked out.Brian got his manager, John Piowlski, to appraise our trade. Our numbers and John's numbers were not the same, but a compromise was reached relatively quickly, and on a friendly basis. It was late on a Saturday afternoon and I would not have had a problem if we had had to make a second trip to finalize the deal. John said that they should be able to get all the approvals and paperwork completed in 45 minutes. And they did.Matt Pierson, the F&I rep, did his job in a concise and professional manner.This was a very pleasant buying experience. I truly feel that when we're in the market for our next new vehicle I can call Brian and probably get it done mostly over the phone.

Had a very nice experience buying our car, no problems, no pressure. I hate it when dealers play price games. James H. And Julio were both very nice we talked about the price and in a few minutes reached a deal. I asked Julio to clean the rims and he did it right away. Also in the financial department, Reid was very helpful and they rustproofed the car and delivered it to within a short distance from my house as I live 4&1/2 hrs from there. Great experience overall and they even threw in a swag bag!

Brian was extremely helpful in the purchase of our Dodge Durango. We weren't expecting to find this in a GM lot, but he went above and beyond to help us get exactly what we were looking for. We've purchased from Snell before, and appreciate the laid back atmosphere, and the fact that the salesmen aren't overly aggressive to "make a sale". We have spent time looking at different brands of pickups over the last several months. We had decided if we got a new pickup, it would be a GMC we were not ready to make the purchase. Drew Dauer was the person we worked with as we evaluated the GMC lines last winter. He was very helpful and when we made our decision, he understood and told us he would call us back in the summer. He did that and also told us there were some great deals to look at. We came in, looked at the deals and bought a new pickup, all the time not feeling pressured by Drew. He just answered any questions we had and it was a very good buying experience. We felt Drew worked with us to accomplish our ownership of the pickup.

Generally disappointing car buying experience. Car is great, but sales/finance personnel very lackluster. Finance guy bordering on downright unfriendly. Seemed to just want to get rid of us.Dealer seemed annoyed when I wanted to test drive a couple cars.Bought a certified pre-owned Cadillac. When I asked about what it meant to be certified, and what warranty came with it, dealer didn't know. Said the finance guy would tell me about it. Told the finance guy what the dealer said, and he kind of just ignored me.Minor, but annoying thing. The dealer at one point says he is giving me 3 months free car washes. I comment that I probably won't use them since I live too far away, and don't make it to Mankato much. Finance guy later tells me I get a choice between car washes and a gift card. Ask the dealer about what the finance guy told me, and he said it was too late. He already gave me the car washes, so there is nothing he can do.About a week after I bought the car, I get a call from the collision department wanting to schedule a visit. No one had told more when I bought it that the vehicle needed repairs, so this was a surprise. Also a pain given how far away we live.Nothing terrible, but nothing great either.

Brain was very helpful answering the questions I had. I found him to be honest. If I asked him a question he didn't know, he Told me so, and then found the answer for me. He did every thing he said he would. He allowed us to have an extended drive with the vehicle and understood when I wanted time to research and crunch numbers. He has followed up with me to make sure I am very happy and satisfied with the purchase. Reid was very knowledgable and thorough in the performance of his duties. The only issue I have come across was the trade in value I was quoted online was different from the offer I got at the dealer. When I questioned them about it they said the most my trade in would list for was $29.4k. I see they have listed it for $1k more. I just don't think they where fair in the trade in.

Just following our purchase of a new 2015 Regal Buick Consumer Report's named it the Number one rated Sport Sedan for 2015. Buick was also noted for it's improved ranking in the reliability category as well. Buick is doing it right. I begin with Jeff Wondra.... When we began searching for a vehicle, Jeff thankfully reviewed a variety of different modelsfrom sport utility vehicles, to autos and even a brief overview of their truck line. The truck purchase will eventually happen but not at the present time. We didn't know what we needed and Jeff directed us through Snell's Inventory.Eventually Liz and I realized we kept going back to the Regal.. The cars interior and exterior was esthetically pleasing..to the point of being unique in it's design. It is truly different from so many of today's automobiles. Quality made inside and out. That was obvious. And then we drove it.....Power to spare, quiet, great visibility, and in response to changing traffic patterns, the drive seemed to move along in effortless fashion. This was my first time leading the car buying experience, and the only reason it was stressful was due to myself. From my first contact with Snell it was friendly experience. Once I found the vehicle I was looking for and connected with David it was smooth sailing. I don't live in the area, so wasn't able to check out the vehicle myself. I arranged for my parents to go physically check out the vehicle, and he answered all there questions. David and I then exchanged phone calls to keep the ball rolling, doing what we could until I could make it down. When I was finally able to make it down, the process and experience was nothing but seamless and friendly. David covered everything he had covered with my parents, and made me feel like no question was a dumb question. While taking me on a 'tour' of my new vehicle there was new sound, David immediately said he would have Service look at and remedy before I left the lot. Due to that we spent a good amount of time at the dealership, but at no time was I annoyed by it. Even while we were waiting, David would come and check on us. I would highly recommend Snell, and David especially to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. As I know my Dad would, and he's hard to impress. Extremely helpful and friendly receptionist greeted us the minute we walked in. Jeff Wondra made buying the vehicle easy because of his vast knowledge of each model. When we went to test drive it, we had our kids with us so I was planning on test driving it while my wife and kids waited at the dealership and Justin suggested I move the car seats over and take the kids with on the test drive. David Boyle was extremely helpful in explaining a new Encore to us. I wanted a crossover vehicle and needed it to be user friendly for me as I am the driver in my family as my husband is legally blind. I needed a vehicle I could adjust to my specifications (raise and lower seat, access to outside mirrors, maneuverable, ease of handling, not so much car to handle. He really acted like he cared about our comfort and how we liked the car. I road tested it and he spent a lot of time answering our questions of which there were many. David has been very, very good about follow up after we bought the car. He has called me often and has given me his cell number if I have any questions. We also came back 2 wks after we bought and he came with us again and went over the things I questioned after driving for a couple weeks. Also, showed how to go thru car wash. He even helped the car wash workers dry down the car after the wash. Today he called to wish me a happy birthday, sent a bd card, and gave my husband and me a gift card to eat in Mankato.I would say he has "bent over backwards" to make our experience with Snell a very rewarding experience.
