Don provided excellent assistance and he was VERY patient through our many shopping visits to the dealership. Having prior bought a car from Smith Buick and being happy with the customer service and the vehicle, I decided to return to the dealership to purchase another vehicle. Shopping Gallipolis for Cars

We had looked at several dealers from Athens to Gallipolis OHIO for a preowned vehicle. I will say that the shopping experience at Smith was a pleasure. Bob Cook did a great job of showing us a vehicle and setting it up to test drive. Bob didn't even go with us, which indicated his trust and gave us a chance to look at the auto without anyone looking over our shoulder. There was no pressure what so ever and we got a great deal on our car. The car had one small issue. They ordered the part and it was repaired the next week. Thanks!!

Getting my car there was remarkably simple & hassle free. Pretty much everything thing was done over the phone, on the internet or by fax; so that by the time I got there to pick up my car it took less than 15 minutes & I was able to get my daughter to her 6PM swim class on time. Very easy & efficient.

a little irritated

My overall experience was good, however, I specifically asked the sales person if he had anything that sat a little higher off the ground than the car I was looking at. He said no. So, I settled for the car that I had already driven. Mind you, it is a very nice car, and so far I am happy with it. The next day, I drove by the lot and right where the car I bought had been sitting, sat a very nice looking SUV type in the very same price range. I have to say that it really ticked me off as we live on a hill that has a gravel road. The SUV type car would probably have been a better choice for us.

Buying a new car

Bob Cook is a great to deal with. He knows the vehicles and is very patient in explaining all the features. All the employees are very friendly and genuinely helpful. I always highly recommend Smith GM.

Great Deals; Great Staff

We actually were just looking with no intention of trading for another vehicle. There were such good deals we just couldn't pass up. Ronnie was such a nice sales persons and wasn't pushy at all. He answered all our questions. The whole process was quick and I might add enjoyable. Everyone there was very friendly and made you feel at home. Tary was organized and very personable.

I have dealt with Smiths on several occasions and have good dealings with each salesman that has helped me. They have worked with me on getting the vehicles worked on if something needed fixed before I took it home, Tary has always helped to make sure we got good financeing when needed and she is always quick and efficient at her job. The service dept. has always done a good job in getting my cars back to me in a timely manner. I currently own 4 vehicles that were bought at Smiths, they are bout the best dealership in the area! Had problems with military POA, very understanding

My husband is deployed and we were trying to buy a used car, but had the wrong type of POA. Smith Buick was very understanding and did all they could to help. They held the car for us for a few days and gave us a great price on the vehicle we wanted! Definitely recommended. :)

I always have a good car buying experience at Smith Buick. I called in the morning and talked to Gene Johnson, told him what car I was interested in and he had it ready when I got there. After a test drive and some phone conversations, we made a deal. Tara Powers had the paperwork ready when I got there. It took no more then 20 minutes.
