My wife and I just purchased a 2016 Silverado 2500HD from Jay Kim and the staff at Simpson Chevrolet. From start to finish Jay and the rest of the staff were extremely kind and helpful in finding the right truck for us. We weren't sure about which truck to purchase, speaking with the Sewell Gutierrez from their service apartment about the benefits of the Duramax options really helped us in choosing our 2500HD. Sewell even took the extra time to walk me through more of the mechanical aspects of the truck after we already bought it. Jay was patient with us in figuring out the different options we were looking for and throughout the whole process was extremely helpful. He even called me the morning I was scheduled to come in a pick up my truck to advise me on how to save some extra cash with a new rebate that had just come available!They're Tech guy Eddie was a great help in showing me all the new features with the truck. My wife and I will keep coming back to this group of people.

I usually don't write reviews but I am really impressed by the Simpson Chevrolet in Garden grove. I filled my information in a page which could share my request to dealers. So many dealers emailed me and gave me a quote but the Simpson Chevrolet's quote really impressed me and I couldn't believe that it is right but it was! My sales person was Chris Sanchez. Not Impressed with Service Dept.

I had made an appointment online and when I arrived, the technician knew nothing about it. It was not reflected anywhere even though I had received confirmation. I had several items I wanted addressed as my auto is still under warranty. I was told they wouldn't be able to accomplish all of them and that I would have to return at another time. I still have bad memories from the last time I got service here and so none of this settled very well with me, as you can well understand. I do believe it will adversely affect my on-going business relationship with Simpson, unfortunately. I also learned about a recall that I had not even been made aware of with my monthly diagnostics reports.

Best pricing and Greatest Service

My experience at Simpson Chevrolet of Garden Grove was outstanding. I went on the Internet to check out prices for my new Malibu and Simpson Chevrolet and Fred Knapp were the best by far. I had stopped at two other Chevrolet Dealerships before going on the Internet to shop as my in person experiences were not what I would call nice. The salespeople out there were not product informed, could not provide me with clear pricing and were somewhat rude. What a refreshing change when I met Fred. He had the car pulled up front, clean and gassed and ready for a test drive. Fred was pleasant, courteous informed and took the time to answer all of my questions. Needless to say I will be referring all of my friends and family to Fred. He even followed up after the sale which was a pleasant surprise. I had already purchased the vehicle but he called just to see if I was getting along well with all the technology in the car.

Brought Truck in with several problems. All of them were fixed except for the problem I brought it in for which was rough idle under 5mph. I actually stated what the problem most likely was and I was told that it wasnt the problem. Someone was wrong because I still have the problem.

Actual service is quick

My car was completed and pulled forward, but I sat in the waiting room for another 30 minutes before going to find out if it was actually ready or not. The service was done, but my paperwork wasn't. They said I could leave or wait another 15 minutes for the paperwork to be completed.

Great service and good deals

The seller was gentle and they were open to buy/sell options. The only thing that I would recommend is to have a binder insurance available (they don't have it anymore) as an extra option for the costumers. Everything else was perfect

Great place to Purchase your Chevrolet

Angelo and Jason understand the value of customer satisfaction. I had called several dealers in the area trying to locate the Suburban with the options I was looking for, Angelo went outside of the box tempting me with even more options for almost the same price, then when things fell apart (do to the Manufactures poor paint quality) Jason stepped in and said they would make it right; This is unheard of in car dealership world! I worked with Jay Kim on the purchase of my 2016 Colorado, which ended up having to be ordered from the factory, because of the extra features and color I desired. Jay was extremely helpful through the process and kept me updated every step of the way. superb effort

Fred went out of his way to secure the vehicle I wanted, even though it was at a dealership 100 miles away. I called six local chevy dealership looking for this vehicle (2015 Spark EV) and everyone either laughed with none in stock and not sure when more were coming, or the "I'll call you when we get one in stock". Fred called me back the same day to say he could find one but it may take a day or two, and thats exactly what happened. He understood my purpose for the purchase, and completely worked with me to make it happen. What a great experience! Thank you! I do not know what you pay him, but its already not enough for the type of effort he put forth!

The service staff was so nice, friendly and professional. The price we paid was the price quoted which is rare these days. Love picking up a clean car too! The cashier wasn't all that friendly, but maybe it was because it the day after Thanksgiving? Overall, it was a great experience!

I went in to get an oil change on my 2012 Malibu with both of my children and it went very well. I love that you guys have a kiddy area for them to play and watch tv. They Just Don't Make Salesman Better than Eddie So

Eddie Sosa was the perfect salesman! He did everything right. However, the salesman who should have been taking care of me left me alone in the lot for almost 25 minutes, without even coming over to see if I needed assistance. Eddie saw me as I was going to just leave without even talking to a salesman. He appeared to really want to serve me, (he was straining to keep himself in check because it wasn't his turn to take the next customer.) I am telling you when I asked for his help, he was so eager, and relieved that I allowed him to serve me. I could not, (and would not,) have received better service from any other employee. Couldn't get my car to me. Blocked in??? Called to tell me the driver was coming to get me. They had 30 minutes to get it unblocked. Many apologies offered. Poor planning. They I waited another 20 minutes.

Jay made the process of buying our new Colorado both easy and enjoyable. He's easy going and professional and kept us informed as to the arrival of our new vehicle. The Good Guys at Garden Grove

They were patient with me and extremely accommodating as I decided on which of the 3 different colored volts they had lined up for me in the lot. Thomas even ran to the drugstore to get us some tums. We came in simply for pricing and before I knew it, we were signing the paperwork. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helped me forget about the migraine I'd been harboring all week. Service and needed part

Service and customer waiting area better than average. I was back the next week for missing bolt on rear right passenger seat belt - which was operational before we took the car in. Bolt was not found in car and I have yet to receive a call about replacement bolt for the floor mount fixture so we can use the seatbelt.

Great Service and Sales

At Simpson Chevy, on Monday July 6th I called that morning at 8 a.m. to obtain a service appointment same day at 10 a.m. which was amazing. I have used Simpson Chevys service department for years with Jay Malloy and that is how I purchased my first Volt a year ago. You only buy a car once, but service is forever. I contacted Jay the day before letting know I was interested in getting a second vehicle there and he offered to have someone call me. Within an hour I had set-up an appointment for Monday morning. I was greeted in service with a smile by the whole team as usual. I enticed my 5 year old and 10 year old with donuts and Shark Week on the TV in the lounge and my husband and I met with Chris Sanchez who is the most down to earth sales person in the history of time. He waited for me to get the kids organized and the entire sales process was quick and easy. My favorite part was that Chris explained the process of the day; first we do this and then this takes 15 minutes etc. I felt informed every step and it made the experience so pleasant. I also want to note, I do not have awesome credit and Clay (in finance) and Chris did not make me feel bad, they were genuine and understood the economy was tough for a lot of people and assured me they were going to help me along the way. I was concerned about that and was quickly relieved. We were going to get a courtesy vehicle in service and I had to tell them we were leaving with a new 2015 Volt so we would just drive that for the day. As we pulled off the lot to get lunch in our new Volt, service called that my car was ready. Great day!

purchase of new 2015 Chevrolet Traverse

Sales agent Casey Allen did a great job helping me purchase my new 2015 Chevrolet Traverse 2LT. I was specific on the configuration and color scheme that I wanted and he worked hard to find a Traverse that fit my specifications. I felt he did his best to make the whole purchasing process go smooth and efficient, even though there were a couple "hiccups" from other departments that slowed the process down and left both he and I a bit frustrated. Once done though I drove home in a new Traverse that is exactly what I wanted, and at a more than fair price. I have since put a couple hundred miles driving the car and am very happy with it. Thanks Casey for a job well done.

I liked that my car was quickly checked in front of me before taken to the back. I didn't feel scammed. The price was a bit high but it is certified service. My car is performing better than when I brought it in so, we, my family are very happy with your service. Customer Service

I have been going here for years getting my Silverado serviced. Swell the Service Advisor is by far the only reason I continue to repair my truck at Simpson Chevrolet he is one of the best in the industry. My only problem I had - was a gift card for $50.00 and did not know there was an expiration date and I was not able to use this card. Please change this policy.

Excellent Service

I was driving home from my terrible experience at Connell Chevrolet. And I seen that there was a Chevy dealership in Garden Grove. I got there and test drove the car right away. I got to know my sales guy, Gustavo. I told him how bad Connell Chevrolet harassed me and tried to put me in a car i didn't want. Gustavo made me feel so comfortable and didn't try to sell me something I didn't want! He is the best car sales guy i have ever met!!!!!! My mother bought a chevy silverado and i didn't even know it came from this dealership! You guys are awesome. Thank you for not harassing your customers! I ended up driving home in the car that i wanted!!! :)

More than a oil change

During my visit for an oil change, the techs found I had a leaking motor mount. They let me know that they are ordering the part and we'd schedule a day to replace it when its received. They also let me know it's covered under warranty. Good job, good inspections and good service. I've had nothing but great experiences with the service and parts depts.
