Saw a used truck on their lot and stopped in to take a look. Spoke to a salesperson who was really great and easy to work with. Did a test drive then went inside to talk numbers and attempted to purchase the truck. While I'm busy completing the credit application, another salesperson takes someone else for a test drive in the truck I am trying to buy. While waiting on banks to respond, the sales manager sent us to lunch while we waited. We come back 20 minutes later and the other salesman is handing the keys to the other person and congratulating them on their new purchase. They told me that my credit was not approved for the truck and that's why they sold it. I got a call from them the next day that they got me pre-approved for another truck that was very similar to the one I looked at and around the same price. I called my wife and she decided to leave work early so we could make the hour drive to go see this truck. While talking to the salesperson, I inquired about purchasing a brand new Ridgeline they had on their website for the same price as this used truck. She said it would be no problem. The truck was on their showroom floor and we could see both because they should have the other truck back from the service department by the time I got there. My wife leaves work early, we make the hour drive to the dealership and the already sold the new truck and the used one was still in service. They finally admitted it was at another dealership getting warranty work done but the service department could not correct the problem and did not know when or if they could fix it. My wife and I were furious that they couldn't at least call us to tell us that neither truck was there and we shouldn't make the drive. We went the next day to a different dealership that was closer to our house and bought a truck with no hassle at all and got treated like we matter. I feel bad for the salesperson because she was really friendly and they cost her the sale twice.Moral of the story, if you don't have a 760 credit score, they don't care if they get your business because they would rather sell to someone else. I have never had a dealership sell a car while I was in the process of trying to purchase it. Still blown away that they would do that.

I liked that my sales associate, Tim Buckner, went above-and-beyond to research the leg and hip room of the van to ensure that all 3 baby car seats would fit in the van. This was my primary concern ... so Tim made it HIS primary concern. There was no pressure and everyone was very friendly and easy to work with.

I bought a new CRV in March and also bought the extended warranty. Since then discovered the warranty was not what I wanted plus was very expensive. I was able to see the Sales Manager and within minutes had it handled to my satisfaction. No problem. Like the car and the deal.

They were very busy when I went in, the Service Manager took my car out and identified what he thought the issue was with the front end vibration. The on car balancing did the trick and the vibration is gone.I've taken my car here for several repairs and if I know it is going to be something expensive, I shop around. Shottenkirk Honda has always been the most cost effective (Ex: Timing Belt Replacement) and you have the added peace of mind knowing that genuine Honda parts are being put on your car. I always take both my cars here for all service needs.

My family and I purchased 3 vehicles from this dealership my fathers vehicle and mine we're found to have scratches and dents all over them I brought my vehicle back for repair they "fixed" my car I picked it up at night and when I saw it the next morning it still had chips and scratches in the paint. I brought it back and was immediately embarrassed and disrespected by one Jeff who came out and said "how do I know you didn't put these scratches on your car yourself based on how you treat the inside of your car" I immediately showed my disbelief for the rude comments and he says he will touch it up but not properly fix the vehicle, I them asked for the owners information and instead received a call from the general manager Richard Lewis who refused to have any conversation that wasn't recorded in his office. I looked into my paperwork and they overcharged all the vehicles by 2,600 each. I mention this to mr. Lewis and he refused to talk about it unless recorded and he won't fix the chips that came in my paint and on a side note Jeff green also told me that not a single car on his lot dosent have scratches on it, even though when you purchase a vehicle from them it has a slip in the glove box that covers the inspection they do once the car is from Honda to the dealer and on the slip it states how they were sopposed to check for chips and dents 2 separate times before accepting the vehicle. So long story short they sold us 2 vehicles with chips all over and stole nearly 10k from my family, I advise any other dealership then shottenkirk Honda or its affiliated shottenkirk dealerships. If this has happened to you please send me an email as I am working on a class action lawsuit. Chris.simone24atgmail.com

Took my Honda in for the airbag recall, was told I had a oil leak and severally torn compliance bushing. Prices were unreal went to a garage was told they was no oil leak, had the bushing replaced they gave me my old parts there was a little hair line crack in one of them. I will never go to cartersville Honda again. They lied and the service department was unfriendly..

Tina(Sales) showed me the selection of civics they had in stock and we went on a test drive.Jason(Sales Mgr.) discussed pricing and incentives and offered me an exceptional deal on my trade-in.I then met with Kevin(Business Mgr.) who discussed warranties offered (I paid cash so no financing discussed).Approximately one week later I received a call from their Service Mgr. making sure everything was okay. Honda Carland North, sold me a car that was illegal to sell, then were rude, unprofessional, and did everything they could to cheat me. I was desperate to buy a car because my last car was stolen. Saw Honda Carland North had a car for sale, similar to my last car. Bought used Acura and within a month the O2 sensor light went on. Took the car to the closest Acura dealer and found out my car was missing a catalytic convertor, an expensive part. Did some research and found out, it is illegal to sell a car without a catalytic convertor. Called the Honda Carland salesman that sold me the car and explained the situation. Several times he tried to explain to me that the car didn't even require a catalytic convertor. When I didn't buy his explanation, he got very mad and finally said "that's the chance you take when buying a car as is off the lot". The law states, even under "as is" status, a car can not be sold without a catalytic convertor. Finally, I told the salesman I would report the matter to the BBB and the Consumer Protection department. He didn't seem to care. I also asked the salesman to have the General Manager to call me back and discuss the matter with him. Of course, I didn't get a call back. I called the dealership twice more. Neither call was returned. Not calling me back, I saw as pretty much a admission of guilt. I even called Honda and although they were interested in hearing my complaint, they didn't really care to do anything about it. I then filed complaints with the BBB and "Governors Office of Consumer Protection". Of course, no one at Honda Carland North would return the calls. Finally, the Consumer Protection office sent a certified letter to Honda Carland North demanding a written response to my complaint from the General Manager within 5 days. The dealer finally responded by offering to fix the car. It took me two months to get this fixed. I was a loyal Honda customer for almost 20 years, but this dealer experience was so bad, I will never by buy a Honda product again. Way to go "Honda Carland North"!

I was very happy with my used BMW purchase from Carland North this past year. I come back to have my oil changed. Nothing was wrong with my car when I pulled it in no leaks entering the service bay. After my oil change I noticed a oil leak. So I take it back to the service center at Carland North. They tell me that there is a major problem and present me with a $3,000 repair order! I advise them of the warranty I had bought on my purchase there and question how a simple oil change resulted in $3,000 in additional repairs? The service dept tell me my warranty will not cover the repairs on my BMW I Bought there. Something smelled fishy. I tell them I am going to go get a second opinion from a local German repair shop. I get a call from Carland explaining that the warranty company is going to cover about $2000 of the $3,000 of the work order. I tell the service advisor the a German repair shop could not find $3,000 worth of repairs. That the leak was fixed for $200. I was not happy! So I call Carland back and advise them of this simple fix and I was not pleased with the fact a routine maintenance oil change had resulted in a $3,000 repair order. I made a request to cancel the service warranty that I bought at point of purchase. Over 30 days later no cancellation has been completed. I just made a second request for the entire cost of the warranty to be refunded to me which is about $1200. A great purchase experience was turned into a nite mare over a simple oil change or greed! I will no longer use this service department as I feel they were going to fix the low cost fix a pocket the difference. I am still waiting on feed back on my warranty cancelation...

I was a loyal customer for years. Each time I visited I noticed the charges going up. My last visit I over heard the service manager Mr. Reed telling his employees to ad recommendations to my bill. I leave and go straight to Honda of Rome. There recommendations ended up being $400 less than Carland North plus they did extra like changing my break fluid free for my safety. While at Heritage Honda of Rome it felt like the old family business that Carland north use to be. Now I know why the people I use to trust no longer work at Carland. Carland and Mr. Reed has lost the honesty. I would not make any purchase from a dealer that is so dishonest towards its existing customers.

This was my third time buying a new Honda, although I had never bought from this dealership. Before this, I had had only good experience with Honda and went in feeling pretty confident that all would go well. Unfortnatley, this turned out to be the worst car-buying experience in my life. Everything started out on a very positive note with a great Salesman, Bob Corley. We agreed on a very good price for the vehicle I wanted and then I was turned over to someone in the Finance department. This was when the NIGHTMARE began. I soon found the Finance guy to be less than honest and even deceptive as he added extra charges to the cost of the basic vehicle as agreed upon, before any legitimate fees and taxes were added on. He didn't inform me or disclose any information about the several hundred of dollars he just "added on". He also did not include 2 discounts totaling more hundreds of dollars although Bob informed him of them. I soon realized that he knew exactly what he was doing - - price- gouging!! I fortunately caught the alleged "errors", thus saving myself a lot of cash. But I had to wonder how many other people does he do this to that don't notice? I wanted to speak with someone there about all these "errors", and was introduced to a Sales Manager I was told would assist me with my concerns. The Sales Manager was disappointing and appeared to not really care about the problems I encountered. This was certainly different from my experience with other Honda dealerships. Although I declined any extended warranty offered by the Finance guy, I later started receiving mail from the 3rd party warranty company saying the dealership had informed them I had taken a 10-year warranty and should start making payments to them. I eventually got this cleared up when the dealership "found" the paper I signed declining any extended warranty. Of course by then, the warranty company had received all my personal information (soc. sec. number, etc.) without my knowlege or consent. After reading other reviews about this dealership, I wonder if I just caught them on a particularly bad day. But what started as a positive experience ended up being messy, frustrating, and less than the honest and forthcoming experience I had expected. As I said previously, it really turned into a nightmare! I will never again do business with this dealership and can not recommend it to anyone, especially anyone I like!

These people quoted me nearly $500 to replace the key and remote!! Let me say that again - nearly $500.00!! And again - $500.00 for a car key and remote. This was classic highway robbery in its purest form. It was piling on me after my misfortune. These folks just wanted to see if I was stupid enough to pay it. When I expressed outrage, they treated me like I was trailer-trash. Thereafter bough the remote online for $65. and programmed it myself. After looking at all the dealers in the metro Atlanta for a specific vehicle, Tabitha contacted me and made every effort to locate the Honda Pilot I was looking to purchase. Unfortunately we found that the color/model combination was not available statewide. However, she was able to find and suggest a car in their inventory that met almost all of our requirements at a better price point than what I thought I wanted. Without Tabitha's persistance, I would not have a new car in the driveway today.All of the staff were friendly and the smaller town feel to this dealership left me very satisfied with my purchase. I have to tell you that anytime I have dealt with Honda Carland North - I have been MORE than satisfied. I had never purchased a car from Honda Carland North before. It was just the nearest Honda dealer to where I was living so I went there. Wayne - the Service Manager goes WAY ABOVE and beyond to keep me coming back. He stands behind his work and always has a fair price.One day, I was having a problem with the Honda I was driving at the time. It was repaired but a week later I had the same problem. Wayne said, bring it back and we will fix it...no charge. On top of that, he put me in a Brand New 2013 Honda CR-V. I instantly loved it. My vehicle was repaired 3 days later - no charge! But, with the miles I had on that vehicle, I just had to look into purchasing a vehicle like I had been driving.Bob Corley was awesome! I was introduced to him by Wayne in service. I explained I was ready for a change. Bob was just great. Absolutely NO pressure. I searched the Internet and found serveral prices. Bob beat all of them and them some. You just don't find a salesman like this anymore. I typically HATE car dealers and salesmen. Bob Corley is so much different! He remembers me by name and always greets me when I come in for service. In fact, some days, he just sits down and talks with me. The coversation has nothing to do with Cars. Just about what is going on in the world. I was referred to Jason Hunter (sales manager) at Honda Carland North by my mechanic. I was looking for a late model certified Accord. I had a bad experience up to this point in buying a used Accord. I called Jason, and within a 1/2 hour I knew what car I wanted. Jason asked if I'd consider a new accord instead of a used one. He advised with Honda's incentives, I could get a new car instead of a used one for an additional $3K. This made sense. He had to do a dealer trade, and was able to find an Accord in the color I wanted, but it was located in KY. He still worked out the dealer trade despite having to get the car from over 300 miles away. I was amazed that this dealer would go above and beyond the call of duty for this. He could have let me choose a different car with a dealer nearby, but not in the color I wanted. I was willing to do this. I bought the car over the phone and went to the dealership to finalize everything. Johnny Mac was great to work with along with everyone there. I also traded in the car I had. They were able to get me $500 more on my trade-in than the previous dealership I was out. No other dealership could come close to the deal I got through Honda Carland North. They weren't pushy like most car salesman. They were professional and great to work with. Jason and Johnny did a great job!

I called around and emailed all the dealers to get the best quotes for a Van for my wife. They called me back and gave me a bottom line out the door price that was 1300 better then the second cheapest dealer in the area (i contacted 5 of them total) I wound up going elsewhere after discovering a distant family affiliation in a dealership, however when I informed Bob, he congratulated me on my purchase, and was glad he could help me get a better price where i went elsewhere. WOW! what a genuine guy. A month later I went back to Bob to buy a Civic, The whole experience was kind, i felt no pressure to buy anything. Even when I went to talk to the finance manager there and sat down for negotiations, he didn't pressure me into add ons, and even matched an online price for warranty.I can't imagine referring anyone somewhere else to buy a new car in the area. My family researched the type of car that we wanted online and also determined our price range. After we found a car online that interested us, we contacted Honda Carland North and made an offer. For the next day, we communicated via email with a sales representative about the car. The communication dragged on for much longer than needed because he often did not answer our questions, and instead tried various tactics to get us to come in and buy immediately. (He said he wouldnt be available via email and we needed to call but lo and behold he continued to respond via email all day when we declined to call; he asked us when we could come to look at the car; he would point out features of the car instead of answering questions about price; he told us that we had to come in that day to get the agreed upon price although we had told him up front that we were not available until the next day; he didnt throw in the dealer fee until the very end ($599!) although he had only specified that the title, tag and tax would be added, etc.) In retrospect, we should have ended the communication very early on based on his approach. But by the end of the day we had agreed upon a price for the car that we wanted, and scheduled a time to come pay the next day (in cash). However, based on our feeling that he was not trustworthy, we did contact another dealer via email and asked him whether he could beat the deal that we had arranged with Honda Carland North. The other dealer could not beat the deal, but offered us a similar deal and was very upfront and easy to communicate with. We decided to proceed with Honda Carland North and showed up to our appointment the next day with a check in hand. The sales representative informed me that according to Donald Trump, negotiations dont really begin until you are face to face and after keeping me there for thirty minutes he changed the terms of our negotiated deal (he offered the same price but removed the Honda Certified warranty). At that point I was done playing games and walked out of the dealership. We drove to the other dealership that night and purchased a car. On our way, the sales manager at Honda Carland North called and apologized, asking us to return and pledging to honor the deal that we had agreed on. However, we chose to work with a dealership that did not try to manipulate us.

I was helping my daughter find a used Civic. After shopping on-line at several Honda dealerships, I did an on-line chat with Bob Corley at Honda Carland North and told him my needs. Shortly after I got a call from Jason Hunter, the Used Car Mgr. He told me about an 06 Civic they just got (not on-line yet) that was bought there new, serviced there and said it was immaculate. He was not exaggerating. These guys were great to work with, very professional, honest and sincere. We agreed on a price over the phone and all the paperwork was ready when we got there. The car exceeded our expectations. The car looked Brand New inside and out. Knowing we were coming, Jason had a new battery and new AC compressor installed. Not only that, it was in her price range and believe it or not, Kip, the finance guy got her 60 month financing on an 06 model,a 6 year old car. Took my son's 96 Acura TL to Honda Carland North on Friday morning, 12/16/11, to fix a loud noise coming from the engine area, and to have them check if anything else needed to be done. Shawn called me later that day and told me that the air conditioning compressor needed to be replaced. Since the car was 15 years old, I asked him if anything else was wrong, and he told me that the timing belt needed to be replaced and that the oil seal behind it was leaking. I asked him if anything else seemed wrong since I did not want to invest any money in the car if they suspected anything else would break. Shawn assured me the car was worth fixing and that the engine, transmission, and everything else looked fine.To fix the compressor, Shawn told me it would cost $944, and another $900 or so to replace the timing belt and oil seal. Finally, after much thought and discussion with the Shawn, I decided to have the compressor replaced and to wait until my son could afford to replace the timing belt. That evening the weekend service manager called me and told me that they had replaced the compressor, but they could not get it to work. He said that after their mechanic had replaced it he realized it had been rewired (by a previous owner), and he could not get it to work.On Monday, Shawn called me and told me the same thing as the weekend service manager, and that Honda Carland North could not fix it. He told me that I would have to take it to the Acura dealership to have them fix it. I was thinking that I had taken it to them because Honda and Acura are the same company, and if they could not fix it, why did they give me a quote and assurance beforehand that they could. I picked my car up, and paid them $944 for a new compressor replacement that was not working.Now I still need to take it to the Acura dealership to have them figure out how to make the new compressor work and to replace the timing belt. I hope the Acura dealership is more honest about what they can fix than this dealership.12/30/11 Update: Yesterday, the Acura dealership called me after I had taken the car to them. Before installing a timing belt, they told me that their diagnostics indicated that I was having a transmission problem. I thanked them for letting me know before I invested any more money in the car.Honda Carland North had told me the transmission was fine and then installed a compressor that is not operational costing me $944. Sounds like they either didn't know anything about working on my Acura or they took me for the $944.

I purchased a used 2005 Honda Accord LX from this dealership. I found this car on autotrader.com and based on the sell price ($9,500 for a 77K car), www.dealerrater.com rating, CarFax report, and PureCars Value Report, my comfort level for buying a used car increased. I purchased the car from JR who made this a very easy buying experience. The car was in excellent condition so obviously their service dept had put this used car in excellent condition. JR had me in and out in no time. When I got back home, I noticed only the driver's window was working. I called the service dept and Wayne Reed assisted me. He tried talking me through some fixes but nothing worked. I returned to dealership and Wayne had his service techs find and resolve the issue at no additional cost to me even though this was a used car with no warranty. He even offered to provide me a car if he needed to keep my car overnight. I am very impressed with this dealership in both sales and service. I thought I would surprise my wife with a new Pilot and I went the internet route by going through several dealers to get a good out the door price. I received prices from all the vendors and HCN was the highest. I made an offer to each dealer for the same trim package and the salesman from HCN left a voicemail to come on in that the offer was good and they wanted my business. That worked out great for me because they were my hometown dealer and we had purchased a new Civic from them last year. I called right back and left a voicemail asking for an email accepting my offer but I never received one (sign #1). A couple days later, I texted the salesman to arrange a test drive and sign the papers and he said he wouldnt be in that day and that another salesman would show me the vehicle (sign#2). I called the dealer to arrange a test drive with his backup and went in that evening with intentions of buying the Pilot for the "agreed upon" price. When we arrived the salesman apologized for my original salesperson calling in sick (sign#3) on that day and he would take care of us. He showed us the vehicle and we went for a test drive and everything was kosher. Then we got to the paperwork and the offer that got me in the dealership basically wasnt honored and a much higher price was offered to us. We replayed the voicemail to them where they "agreed" to my offer and they came off a couple thousand but nowhere near my other two prices from competitors. They also tried to call the "sick" salesman and werent able to reach him (sign#4). So basically, we were duped, lied to, screwed, and lost a few hours of our lives we wont get back. I dont know if wouldve even mattered if we had anything in writing the way these guys operate. They also tried to steer me away from their competitors saying the prices they were offering were less than invoice (which they werent).I ended up going down the road and getting a great deal and was treated like an educated consumer and not a sucker.

Two weeks later it all starts messing up so I bring it in for a 9 am appointment. 3 hours later they still had not brought my car in to even look at it. What's the point of having an appointment if you don't get it in around that time. So now I'm late as Hell for work, they won't give me a rental due to they haven't figured out what is wrong with it and that I'm on my parents insurance even though everything else is under my name. This place is garbage. The workers are decently friendly but like all dealers two faced as hell. Strongly discourage anyone from coming to this place.

I thought the dealership- at least the person who helped me- was fairly transparent. Jason showed me how to tell whether any of the car's original parts had been replaced so I didn't have to take his word for it. He also showed me several websites (like this one) where I could compare the ratings of all the dealerships I was considering. I think that one of the most most daunting anxieties for a first-time used car buyer, unless you work in some sector of the auto industry, is a lack of familiarity with the product, and the fear of being swindled lurks in the back of consumer minds throughout the razzle dazzle of this feature and that feature, which most can't distinguish from a breadbox. Jason did a good job educating me about the process and, most pleasantly surprising of all, did not try to rush me into a hasty decision. I made a deal on a Toyota pick-up (I have an email with time -date and price). I gave Jason my credit card to hold the truck- he also said he would move the truck to the back to safeguard it. This was about 2:30 Tuesday Oct. 4th. I told him I would drive the 600 miles round trip on the 5th. I get up at 5a.m. the 5th to start my trip and when I get to Atlanta I stopped to call Jason to give him my Ins. # and D.L. # he requested to start my paperwork. During the call I was told that the car was sold to someone else. I got sick to my stomach. Jason said he E-mailed me (9 am on the 5th it turns out). when I was already on the road. NO PHONE CALL ON THE (4th.) not to come. I read the e-mail he sent 10a.m. on the 5th which said they sold it to a higher bidder. I was told earlier on the way to pick up the truck , that it was a mix-up and that the 2 salesmen didn't know what the other was doing. (Aug 2nd) We wanted a new Honda Accord Sedan and out of our Chrysler!! Went in on a monday night bout 7.40p.m. Not so busy. Saw Joe Flannigan who came up to us and started to ask us what we were looking at , monthly payments we desired, and add on's for that car. By time we sat down and crunched numbers it was getting late. Joe still stayed put and was determined to make a deal that suited both parties. After a long hr and half if not more( 9.30p.m) and plenty of, Na you can do better, and Joe DID!!! We were still hammering it out! He got us in the end, a brand new Metalic dark grey Honda, got us out of our chrysler, lowered our monthly payments, .9 interest rate, 5 yrs to pay off, we added on a front lip, fog lights, he filled the car up with a full tank of gas, said parts would be in, in 2 days, which they were, took car back next day to be detailed. Perfection! Every little flaw i saw they cleaned and fixed!!!!! Joe ended up staying well into 10 p.m that night without fail to get us the car WE wanted !!!!! The parts were on my car within 4 days and i got my windows tinted that sat!!!! Thats awesome customer service, i have had some nightmares at dealerships and ran into a few con artists,but its nice to find a place thats cares about YOU. I was shopping for a 2010 Honda Ridgeline. The local dealership in Rome would not budge on their initial offer, nor did they hacve on in stock, so I decided to check around. I went to the Honda Carland North web site and requested an online quote. Within thirty minutes I was given a price quote and was informed that the model I was looking for was currently in stock. I went to the dealership to determine if my son's Honda Del Sol (94) was worth repairing. Tony in maintenance informed that it was indeed repairable but did not recommend it due to the age of the auto and the high costs of repair. I respect a repair center that gives you honest feedback as he could have easily talked me into repairing the auto but he did the honorable thing and gave me valuable advice.After speaking with Tony, I spoke with the boss (my wife) who told me to buy myself a new car. I bumped into Jamie Cunningham who is one of the new salesmen at the dealership. We spoke for 30 minutes about my needs and he came up with several viable options. We looked at Honda Certified Used Cars as well as new. Although Jaime is new to Honda, he is not new in the service industry and he has a skill that is not common among salesmen, he knows to ask questions versus assume to know what the customer wants or needs.I made the decision to purchase the 2010 Honda Insight for several reasons, mileage, comfort and of course, the Honda reputation. This was a very good experience for me. I started looking on line over a year ago and got prices and information about the cars I was interested in. Joe Flanigan kept in touch with me and when I was ready to by this year my first visit to the dealership in person was a delight. I did all my homework on the internet and when I got down to the two or three vehicles I would consider it became a matter of contacting dealerships to see what kind of response I would get. Don't forget that a Honda dealer can handle most of the maintenance on your Acura! I own an Acura RDX that I purchased from the sister Acura dealership located in Duluth. When the maintenance minder flashed that my RDX needed an A6 service, I looked in my manual to see what it meant (oil and differential fluid changes) and then called Honda Carland North to see if they could perform the work. I was quoted a price and given a time estimate to perform the work since differential fluid changes required going through the regular service bays instead of the Express Service. I was very pleased that they were able to work me in late on a Friday afternoon. It took about 75 minutes and the price paid was exactly as quoted. I've dealt with the body shop (recommendation for a windshield replacement), Acura Carland and HCN since I purchased my RDX. Everyone has been friendly and professional. We plan to purchase our next vehicle (Honda or Acura - we don't know yet) from this dealership group.

I live in Oklahoma. My wife and I were visiting family in TN and planning on going on down to Jasper GA. I have been looking at Toyota FJ cruisers for some time, and did a web search for the Jasper area. I came across the EXACT one I have been wanting. I had recently purchased an 08 Nissan Frontier, and was not really happy with it. I contacted Chad Wilson at Carland North and made arrangements to come look at the FJ. Chad and the rest of the staff did everything they could to give me a more than fair price for my trade so that the FJ wouldn't put me over budget. They worked with me on the funds transfer from my bank to make the deal happen on that day, since it was past my banks cut off time to wire money. These guys really put forth a lot of effort to make sure I was happy with the deal. It took some work on the fiance departments end as well to get information to and from my bank in OK intime to secure the funds for the vehicle. A couple days prior I made a trip to Dallas on an over the phone promise from another dealer which fell apart as soon as I arrived. When I spoke to Chad over the phone he told me to come down and check them out, he would do what he could to make the deal happen. He and the staff bent over backwards to make it happen. We requested an internet quote from a number of dealers an got a response from 6 total. Honda Carland North provided with a quote on the vehicle with the options that we specified. They broke the quote out by category so it was easy to understand and compare to others. Several of the responses required clarification. Several dealers did not wish to provide a quote unless we came in to their dealership which was not going to save time and narrow the decision. Honda Carland North was the lowest price by about $700. We made an appointment and Joe explained his inventory and what he expected in. He briefly went over upgrades but did not push, and we chose our vehicle. We were preapproved by our credit union but they spent a great deal of time trying to beat that rate. The time spent doing that was the only downside. When we went to pick the car up Joe went over the administrative details of the car and we were out the door. We chose them because they responded with exactly what we requested, at a very fair price, and then delivered efficiently. I have recommended them to friends already.

It is really difficult to rate this dealership solely on sales experience. I am, and will always be a Honda owner. At drive out experience, I would reccommend the dealership. But we didn't realize that the customer service ended when we drove off the lot. I really don't believe the salesmen are at fault. I believe there is no organizational skills behind the scenes. We purchased the vehicle on January 27, 2010 and are still waiting on our registration to go get our tag. We had to go to the Roswell location to get the date extended on our tag. Every time we contacted the dealership regarding the status, we would get a different story. Someone originally put the incorrect address on it the first time(so they say). When it came back, we got three different stories of when it was mailed out. Now, to cover themselves, they are telling us that we do not need the registration to go get the tag. I do not think they should be able to get away with such sloppiness. When I emailed the salesperson, he responded " I was told...." He had no regard for my disappointment in this experience. The back half of this experience absolutely buried the front half. I bought the car that I traded in for this one at the Roswell location and will stick with that one from now on!!!!!! i had absolutely the most wonderful experience with my first-time brand-spankin new vehicle purchase!! i had been looking at hondas in my immediate area but couldn't quite get the cr-v style & color i was looking for or the price i could afford. i did an online search at carland north, submitted my request & was promptly contacted by joe flanigan. when i went up for my appointment he was prompt, courteous & attentive. if he didn't immediately have the answer to my questions he was able to quickly find it for me. i was considering some accessories but when i told him i needed to keep within my budget he wasn't pushy. JOE YOU ROCK!ron herndon in the sales department was great too. i don't take in numbers well but he took his time explaining everything to me (several times) drawing out comparisons & giving me real life scenarios so that i could understand what he was explaining to me. i can be alittle slow to understand & ask ALOT of questions. he was very patient & courteous.the receptionist was the first person i met. i'm sorry i don't remember her name. i looked at her name plate but was so excited about "meeting" my new "Baby Blu" it didn't register. anyway she had a ready smile, was very friendly and promptly called up joe for me. please make sure to recognize her assets.would i recommend this dealership? I have be repeatedly ripped off by this dealership and I will never go back to them. I would rather pay more and have honest people work on my car than pay these dishonest people. My most recent encounter: I purchased 2 tires from honda in 2008, I requested Toyo and also asked for an alignment. When I went to pick my car up they told me they were unable to align my car (a whole different story) but they charged me for it anyways. I was told that next time I got new tires, they would align it for free. This morning I realized that my front 2 tires are both splitting and I began trying to figure out if these were the Honda tires, so I called Honda. They knew nothing except I had new tires put on in 2008. I had to repeatedly call to find out the brand and where they were put on my car. They finally told me they put on Dunlap tires, and said they were supposed to be put on the back. Well, my Dunlap tires were on the front. I took it to the dealership and he tried to say that my file had no information in which they could use to definitively determine which tires they had put on. They found the vin number of the tires, and it was the 2 front tires. He then tried to find a way to say that my tires had been slit or ripped, which they clearly weren't. He said to leave my car and he would call within an hour after they took it to the shop. 2 and a half hours later I called back, and they informed me that they will not cover new tires because the Dunlap tires were on the front of my car, not the back. My tires are still under warranty and it shouldn't matter where on the car the tires are, they are defective and I purchased them from Honda. They should rectify the situation, not try and charge me more money for a defective tire THEY put on my car. This is just the most recent problem with them, I have many more horror stories. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE CENTER!! They have continuously lied to me about car problems and overcharged for no reason. I will not be going back, and I will be telling my friends about the terrible service I have continuously received.

When we decided we wanted a "scooter" car to drive around town and to tow behind our motor home, we really did our homework to select the right one to fit our needs. After much research with Consumer Reports, edmunds.com, and new buyer reviews, we chose a Honda Fit. Then we located ten dealers within sixty miles of our area and called them all to ask for the best price for the Honda Fit Sport. Sharon at Honda Carland North was friendly, competent, and willing to quote us the price that we would have to pay to walk out the door with a 2010 model. Our experience in buying this car was unlike any other we have ever had. There was no pressure, and everything about the car was explained in detail to us. We would highly recommend this dealership. The fifty miles we drove to buy from them was well worth it! When time comes to purchase another vehicle, the only place we will call is Honda Carland North in Cartersville.

After checking the internet for a new 2009 Honda Civic, I checked several area Honda dealers to see what they had in stock. I drove by Honda Carland North one Sunday night after they had closed & spotted a Black Civic with a manual transmission that I was interested in. I then e-mailed several Honda dealers around the Atlanta are to see what Civics were in stock with a manual transmission or what cars could be located within a reasonable geographic location. Shaon Robertson e-mailed me back (immediately) the next day with availablility options and the "internet" price of the Black Civic that I had previously spotted at the dealership. The "internet price" is a great feature, as it was not only a substantial reduction from the sticker price displayed on the vehicle (end of the year savings), but allowed me to compare vehicle prices with other dealers without having to physically drive all over the metro-Atlanta area. After checking the dealer rating of Honda Carland North, I visited Sharon Robertson & was very pleased with her attitude, as well as the attitudes of everyone associated with this dealership; friendly, helpful, & no "car salesman" attitude. I indeed purchased the Honda Civic & was more than satisfied with the price (we were even able to reduce the already good internet price just a little bit because pinstripes had been added to the car by the dealer & I just did not want them. They gladly removed them & reduced the selling price just a bit so that I didn't feel like I'd paid for something that had been removed).I would whole-heartedly recommend this dealership and this sales person. There were absolutely NO games played (add ons, negotiating tactics/games, etc)that I have experienced with EVERY other dealer from whom I have purchased new vehicles in the past. I am 56 years old & have purchased many new cars in my life-time & this was by FAR the most pleasant car-buying experience that I have ever had. The entire process was easy, fast, & convenient. I had sent out E-mails to get sales prices and deals on Honda Fits and the Civics. Sharon had consistently replied and offered to beat any previous deals offered by other dealers. Honda Carland is approx. 45 miles from my hometown, but Sharon said that she would make it worth my while to travel to the dealership. After talking to Sharon she seemed pleasant and eager to help. I told her that I was interested in a 2009 Honda Civic LX 5 speed and that I wanted to use the CARS (Cash for Clunkers) program and that my vehicle would qualify. She said that she would locate me a Civic. She called back and said that she had found me a car and we also discussed the CARS program. She said that Honda Carland was a participating dealer and that everything would be finalized on the following Monday 7/27/09. She stated that I could come down Sunday to pick up the car, but as a loaner until the deal was completed on Monday or Tuesday. On Sunday I brought all the required documentation and paid $500.00 down payment. On Tuesday the finance manager call to tell me that there dealership was concerned about the CARS program not working and offered to give me $3500.00 for my vehicle and said that I would have to pay them an additional $1000.00. I advised him that my vehicle was fully qualified for the $4500.00 and that I would be bringing the car back and be getting mine back. After picking my 2000 Jeep Cherokee up I proceeded to go back to Pye Honda in Dalton, Ga. and made a deal on a 2009 Honda Civic LX with no problems what so ever this was on 7/29/2009.

I have previously dealt with Wayne Reed (approx 14 years). I needed an oil change phoned former dealership, was told Wayne was no longer employed, asked for Sales Manager I had known for years, was told he was no longer employed. This was the easiest and most pleasurable car buying experience I have ever had. I test drove 4 different Honda vehicles and one of them several different times on several different days. The sales people were very friendly and knowledgable about all of the vehicles. There was no pressure at all to buy or to sit down and talk price until I was sure what I wanted and felt comfortable with my choice of a car. I asked to talk price after doing all my research and reading reviews on the new Pilot. I received a very good price on the car and couldn't be happier with how smooth the whole process was. They even swapped out cars to get the exact one I wanted from another dealership. I have been a loyal honda owner over the years and decided to try something other than the accord. The service was outstanding. I was warmly greeted when I entered the service bay, and then again by Wayne (my service advisor) and his the other service advisor (I cannot remember her name.) The service was clearly explained, as was the pricing and the recommendations for timing of future work.While waiting on the work, I was walking through the sales floor. It took about 4 seconds before the receptionist greeted me and asked if there was anything I needed. I sat in a new hybrid (Cannot beat my 2006 Civic coupe) and was looking at the specs. A sales guy came by and asked if I needed anything. He did not do the swarmy sales pitch, rather he was talking about my Clemson jacket. We went to Honda Carland North on Friday March 27, 2009 to look at a car we had previously looked at a few months before. Chad was our salesman then and was very helpfull, so we naturally wanted him again.He is a remarkable young man. He answered all of the questions we had and if there was something he was unsure of,he found out the answer for us. We took the car for a test drive and he explained all of the functions of the vehicle.When it came time to talk about financing he gave us all of the possibilities that were offered by Ron, who worked for us also to get a deal we could be happy with. Chad opened the sale and closed the sale with all of the right words. He is a great employee and I would recommend him and everyone at Honda Carland North to all of my friends.Everyone that I have had dealings with so far have been wonderful. I feel the experience there is being treated like a friend, not being someone they just sold a new car to and never hearing from them again like I have felt at other dealerships. We called Sharon in the morning and let her know we were interested in a certified vehicle they had posted on the internet. We arrived. The car was already pulled up front and ready for test drive. Sharon was immediately available. She was friendly and informed us of features of the vehicle. She was not pushy or over-friendly, like some of the salespersons we have dealt with while car shopping. The dealership personel were all friendly and helped to entertain our young daughter during the buying process, especially Vanessa. Popcorn and soda bar, also helped to make the time pass as paperwork was completed. All in all, I think we only spent about 2 hours to purchase our vehicle. My husband and I both test drove. The lobby was comfortable and the childrens play area was also a bonus.

I just purchased a 2008 Ridgeline at Honda Carland North in Cartersville, my sales person was Alan Armbruster. My wife and I test drove several models; it was obvious Alan was very knowledgeable of the features of the various models. Alan was very helpful and never pressured us to buy; this allowed us to focus on the features each model offered and decide on a vehicle that best meets our needs. When it came time to haggle over the price, Alan worked with Ron Herndon, General Sales Manager and together they brought me a deal I am very satisfied with. We dealt with Sharon Robertson; she was so accomodating and it made the whole experience very pleasant! She even came in on her day off to help us with the pick up of our new van. I was very impressed with the service department at HCN. I took my car in because the check engine light came on and my car seemed sluggish. Needless to say I figured it would be a major repair. I took it in and Gary Boggs assured me that he would get the problem fixed. I was surprised when I came back to pick it up and it didn't cost anywhere near what I thought it would and thankfully my car is running as good as it was when it was new.Kudos to Gary for taking care of the customer and to the service department for fixing my issue so quickly.

I just bought a 2009 Civic at Honda Carland North in Carterville. All in all, it was a really great experience. Tim was great. He gave me all the information, answered all of my questions, with no pressure. I didn't feel like it was "me against them". One nice thing is that their pre-owned cars on on the same lot as the new ones, so it makes it easy to compare and make the right decision for you. They did not have the exact car I wanted on the lot, so Tim tracked it down at another dealership and had it delivered. Every person I meet at the dealership was friendly, helpful, professional, and (perhaps, most important) respectful. Before sending me off in my new car, Tim walked me through every button, switch, and light on the dash, and made sure I knew how everything worked. (lots has changed since my last new Honda- a 1996!)I would definitely recommend this dealership!I have not yet had any service done there, but will make another entry once I have.
