Getting financing was no easy feat due to my son being in college and working part time with no prior credit history,but Megan pulled it off. Rex picked me up at the airport.They stick by their warranty with no hesitation.We did have a minimal issue while driving home,but repairs and towing were covered 100% thanks to Chad in service. I have bought several vehicles from Sheehy Ford in the past 5 or so years. I have always dealt with William. No one could ask for better customer service. He is a very good representative of Sheehy Ford, and very customer oriented. He is knowledgeable and courteous. I will keep coming back to William at Sheehy. Great Experience and Hassle Free

After visiting several other dealerships looking for a new SUV, some good friends suggested we visit Sheehy Ford in Midlothian and see William Goin. We were looking to test drive a Ford Explorer and William found one that matched our wants and needs. After test driving it overnight, we decided to purchase the vehicle. William answered all of our questions regarding the vehicle and hooked us up with Patrick to discuss the financing. Both William and Patrick were very friendly and helpful in completing the deal. Afterwards, William thoroughly explained and showed us how to work all the new technical gadgets (radio, phone, navigation, etc.) installed in the vehicle. We definitely had a good experience at Sheehy and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an excellent car buying experience.

I picked out the vehicle I wanted and they did all of the coordinating and work that had to be done which required some time and effort given my situation. This was the best experience I've ever had buying a vehicle. Josh Shepard went above and beyond to make sure i got the vehicle i wanted for the price i wanted. I drove an hour there because Josh was so nice and helpful via email.

Another good wxpwrience

Unfortunately I was not able to purchase the car I looked at. Some hidden mechanical problems were brought to my attention before I purchased the vehicle. Aaron and sales staff were great during the initial purchase process and he was kind enough to call and inform me of the mechanical problem once it was discovered by his service department. Other dealerships may have let this hidden problem go undetected and let me discover it months down the road. I am grateful that the problem was disclosed to me and while I did not purchase a vehicle from them I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. I will be going back there when it is time for another vehicle.

Purchase Ford F150

Mr. Rex Dix made the purchase of my truck easy. He had the truck waiting and was there to meet my wife and I when we arrived. Although we did not end up buying that particular truck he found a Ford F150 that met all of my needs. The most important trait that I respect from Rex was his honesty and his sincere kindness. Beyond a doubt I would buy another vehicle from Mr. Rex Dix and I will recommend to anyone that will be buying a Ford vehicle in the near future to see him. On a different note your Management needs some work and people skills (maybe send him back on the floor or in sales) when you make comment to me & my wife that if you "leave my dealership (last time I checked its Sheehy's dealership) I will not honor this deal" NOT COOL! SO NOT COOL; you are correct Nate you do not have to honor the deal but guess what that deal came from USAA Auto Buying Circle not from you or Sheehy Ford. I only came back because I did not want to drive 45 minutes to another Ford Dealership. I would have paid the extra $1,000 more at the other dealership but time was more important to me. If I had more time I would have not come back and the sale would of went to one of your competitors. Painless and Quick

William Goins was a fantastic salesman. He was very knowledgable and did not waste our time. We were able to find a vehicle and apply for credit on Sunday and came back in for a short period of time Monday evening to sign papers and out the door with a vehicle. William Going made my first car purchase a snap. I came in, said what I wanted after looking online, which he was very complaint with. He did not try to sell me on any other cars or say no for that matter. Knew the credit wasn't the greatest but knew it had improved. They tell me I have a 553 Experian when my credit union has a 610 Equifax. I applied for a credit card less than 6 hours later, approved with a 599 Experian. Sheehy Ford will f**ck you.

Thanks for nothing

So I brought in my 05 Jeep Grand Cherokee as a down payment on an 06 Tacoma and got totally disrespected. Was offered $1,000 for the car with a brand new V-8 engine in it and new tire's. The tire's alone are worth more than $1,000. I know multiple employees through my own job and I've been informed the Tacoma sold. I realize cars sell and that's there job but disrespecting customers and leaving me in the cold after taking my jeep is is unacceptable. Not to mention how many times I was contacted about coming to see the Tacoma.

Felt right at home buying my new F-150 from Sheehy. Although I have bought new vehicles in the past, this is my first new truck purchase. Seth was very knowledgeable, professional, personable, and possesses great integrity. He walked me through the entire process, from explaining to me in great detail about the improvements to the new F-150, to getting me an excellent price, to walking me through the entire process of syncing my cell phone and setting up the remote door lock with the truck. Terrible Vehicle - Even Worse Service

I bought a 2014 Raptor, paid full price and even sprang for a few extras. $65K later, this truck has given me nothing but trouble. I'm here now, having it serviced because it starts about 10% the time, the windows are possessed, it sticks in 2nd or 3rd gear, it gets 11 miles to the gallon (much less than I was told), it slips out of gear, etc. It's a piece of junk. Then, Ford won't even give me a loaner. I'm coming out of pocket to rent a car because they sold me a lemon. Oh, and I bought it when I was drunk. So don't expect and ethical people here.

I LOVE MY NEW 2017 FORD EXPLORER!

I was in the market for a used Ford Explorer and Pete was up to the challenge to find us a perfect match. After several searches and test drives of some of the used ones, we decided we wanted NEW! Going into purchasing my first vehicle about a month ago I was extremely nervous. As a 20 year old with little credit history and the lack of knowledge on how important it was. When buying a car Seth Parker helped me get the exact vehicle I was looking for after contacting him. Worry free buying experience

I called William Goin based on the positive reviews I found online. William kinldly provided me with preliminary pricing for the vehicles I had in mind. The day before I visited the dealership, I asked William to provide me with the out-the-door pricing for three vehicles shown in the dealership's website. William promptly sent me copies of the dealer invoices for each vehicle accompanied by a completed pricing sheet showing the discounts, rebates, taxes and titling charges, which were very helpful to have in advance of my visit. When I arrived at the dealership, William had all three vehicles lined up for inspection and a test drive. This turned out to be a worry free buying experience. I highly recommend working with William and the dealership.

Buying a new car isn't something I have done a lot of and I had a lot of nerves approaching the experience, but the people at Sheehy Ford, especially our salesman, Calvin Boston, made the experience as painless as possible. Calvin never pressured and was always patient with our questions. i am glad I returned to Sheehy Ford to purchase my vehicle.

Good customer service tarnished by deceitful web pricing

Chris Brooks and Chris Anderson were very helpful and I had an overall god experience. The price was competitive, but I was a little put off by the online pricing. Manufacturers include the delivery charge in their MSRP.. However, Sheehy excludes it from their advertised internet price. The net result is the advertised price is about $1000 under the actual price once they include delivery. This, in my opinion, is a bit of a bait and switch tactic. In fairness to Sheehy, the salesman explained that dealers in NOVA instituted this practice and Sheehy had to go along to be competitive. Ford needs to step in and say cut this crap out. It demeans the entire industry.

Purchased a 2011 F150 that was listened online. Called Aaron Parsons, Internet sales manager, and he was awesome. Had the truck available for me to look at and test drive, after traveling to Richmond from the NoVA area. Will call Aaron again if and when I go to purchase another vehicle.

Contacted Aaron Parsons and drove down to Richmond from the NoVA area. Stayed open in order for us to test drive and ultimately purchase the truck. Aaron was patient since I had my son with me. He was more excited than I was at the experience. Am sure when he gets old enough to buy his own car he'll want to go to Sheehy Richmond.

I had an unfortunate experience with my 5 month old Lincoln mkx--the throttle body went out on Saturday 7/30. When we got to the dealer on tow truck, Jeff Dowdy immediately came & took the car to the back to my wonderful Lincoln mechanic, Justin. Justin had it diagnosed & fixed under 45 minutes. Exceeded our Expectations

Eric Halprin was by far the best car salesman we worked with on our search for a new vehicle. Used Car Purchase

We found our car online and Seth responded immediately and got us all of the information needed to make a decision. He was excellent both online, on the phone, and in person.

Certified means nothing, sub-par customer service

Initial problems addressed were vehicle manual in French, only one key, delay in Sirius service. We noticed after a short period of ownership that the dome light didn't work, made an appt. to have that fixed and get an oil change. Through THEIR lack of communication, only a quick lane appt. was made, so I drove over an hour for nothing but an oil change. Fast forward to two weeks ago when we had to be TOWED to a local dealership due to a faulty fuel sensor (a known problem that should have been remedied prior to selling as certified). Now here I sit rewriting this review since their Wi-Fi disabled this site, for over an hour and a half to be told they STILL CANNOT FIX THE LIGHT! Apparently the part is on nationwide back order. "By the way your brakes are at 0." WE HAVE ONLY PUT 12k miles ON THIS VEHICLE! There are a total of under 33k miles on this "Certified" vehicle! Brakes should last between 25 and 75k miles, so you sold a "basically new" truck with GARBAGE brakes...awesome, I'd LOVE to shell out another $500 for my vehicle that has under 33k miles and is only 3 years old! Certified apparently means NOTHING here! Never again and I will be sure to spread the word. If I could give zero or negative stars I would.

Superior service!

Eric snagged me in the parking lot in 95 degree temps. From there, it was a completely smooth and shockless process. (Unlike other experiences) Eric listened to my needs and directed me to the perfect car for me and my family. His personality and knowledge complimented each other perfectly. I will be back when it's time to buy another car.

I've bought a number of vehicles over the years and while I've never had a bad experience buying a vehicle, to me it's not the most enjoyable thing to do. I have been in Richmond for 24 years. I have purchased 4 cars from Sheehy Ford - 3 from Dave Willoughby. Dave is awesome! If he says he is going to do something for you - he follows through. Dave is straight, upfront and honestly the best sales person I have ever dealt with - hence buying my last 3 cars from only him. I pass his name on every chance I get without hesitation. I have purchased 2 VIPs and would recommend the program to anyone purchasing a car - the service department does a great job!Finance Department -Not so good - needs a of bit work - I tried to contact the person I completed my paperwork with was not in this particular day -so I asked to speak to someone who could help me with my questions - called back 3 times - receptionist forwarded the calls each time but I could never get anyone to answer the phone - the last time I called back I was sent to a voice mail. Because of the issue trying to get through to get questions answered unfortunately "Customer Service" rating could not be 5 star...but that is the only reason. I would still purchase again from Dave!

I bought a car in April from Sheehy in Ashland, car was totaled in June. Wanted to purchase the same car and found it at Sheehy in Richmond. Sheehy Ford is a great dealership. I have purchased vehicles from this dealership for over 10 years and I have yet to have a bad experience. Ford is a trusted brand, however having a trusted salesman like Michael Carson you have a WIN, WIN! Mike is truly a gem; an all around stand up guy. He really does have his clients best interest at heart. His willingness to go above and beyond anything you expect from a salesman is why we have gotten not 1 but 2 Ford trucks from Mike. Mike has a strong team with him as well- Megan the financial manager is also a gem she worked on our case even after the deal was done to get us a better deal! Even Sam, who detailed our truck right before we drove away-she was tired and had worked well into the evening, but when she was asked by Mike on our behalf to do a touch-up job she complied- and that is a testament to Mike and the team working with him. There was a situation after buying our truck that required some service, it was during a holiday and the service department was closed. Now we saw that as a problem, but not Mike. He set us up with a loaner to drive and had our truck serviced without us even having to deal with the service department at all, he took care of everything. Mike is the best and we will tell anyone and everyone!

Woody is the absolute best!! He was so polite and funny, and well, his charming looks sure did help too. He was funny, but also had a formal and professional demeanor.
