I recently decided to replace my existing 1999 pickup with a new GMC model. Rather than spend days driving between dealerships, I did some research on line and determined that Scranton Motors seemed to have the best selection in my area. I decided to pay them a visit. I arrived at the dealership and was greeted courteously by a gentleman behind the counter. When I explained that I was interested in purchasing a new pickup, this gentleman referred me to Nick Florentino, a sales consultant. I explained to Nick what I was looking for in a truck and provided him with a list of "deal-breakers" -- features that I absolutely had to have -- such as 4-wheel drive (I live WAY out in the country) and a back-up camera (I have a neck injury that prevents me from turning my head more than a few degrees in either direction), as well as a few things that weren't deal-breakers but that would enhance my enjoyment of the vehicle, such as heated power seats (with memory) and a leather interior. Within a very few minutes, Nick located a vehicle on the lot that included not only my entire wish list, but also a number of additional features such as adjustable foot pedals, dual climate controls, heated mirrors, fog lights, OnStar, wi-fi hotspot, Bluetooth, locking tailgate and a premium sound system. Nick thoroughly familiarized me with all of the various features of the truck -- he was familiar with every nuance of the truck's operation. He paired the truck's Bluetooth with my iPhone, and we decided to take the truck for a test drive. Nick asked me if I would prefer to take it on city streets or the highway, and he was most agreeable when I suggested that we do a little of both. Needless to say, the truck handled beautifully. We returned to the dealership and discussed the price, which I found to be very much in line with what I had come to expect based on my on-line research; the price also included a 20% rebate based on the truck's MSRP. I bought the truck. When my wife and I picked up the new vehicle Nick again asked whether I had any questions regarding any of the truck's features, and even helped me to set up my OnStar account. Nick then turned us over to Anjenette Colby, Scranton's business manager, who had all of our paperwork neatly arranged. The signing of documents proceeded smoothly. Nick, as well as the entire staff, was friendly, helpful and courteous throughout the entire transaction, and even contacted my insurance carrier to obtain the necessary insurance ID card. I have been buying vehicles since 1963, but I had never before encountered this level of service. Based on my experience with this purchase, I would not hesitate to recommend Scranton Motors; I never felt pressured, and I got a great truck.

The sales team worked it out so that I was able to obtain the exact car I wanted. They followed up with me after the sale of the car to make sure everything was going well with my vehicle and that I was enjoying my new purchase. After my purchase, they took time to explain some of the features of my car that I had trouble understanding. I went to this dealership to buy my car because the service department was very helpful to me when dealing with my Mom's car that I brought there just one month prior. Lastly, the lady that handled the financing portion for the car loan got me an amazing deal; she told me about a GM promotion for 0% interest, which took advantage of; I couldn't have hoped for a better deal than that! I am very happy with the Scranton Motors dealership and will continue to bring my car there for car maintenance, when needed.

I purchased a 2012 GMC Sierra and was promised that the tire that was slashed on the side wall be replaced before I drove off the lot along with a spare key and matching touchup paint to cover bare metal exposed. There first follow up to resolve was to sell me a new set of tires and rims for $1800. I just gave them a check for $30K. 2 months of constantly hounding them to replace the slashed tire that was constantly leaking air, I was finally given an appointment. 3 weeks ago I came in, I finally got the tire replaced, had confirmed it was not inflated to the correct pressures, received the spare key and they forgot about the TU paint. Promised they would mail it. Had to call them again to request it again. Snow has already fallen and temps dropping and now too cold to paint the bare metal. Far from good customer service

Bought a used car which came with a 90 day 3000 mile warranty 3 weeks later the car wouldn't start called them and spoke with a lady don't know her name she told me I have to pay for the towing and if it needed a battery I have to pay for that too I told her the car is still under warranty they should have to pay for the towing and what ever the car needs she said she will talk to the manager and hung up on me never heard back from her then David the sales man called me I missed his call and called him back 2 minutes after he called me and he never got back to me then the service guy called me and I told him what was going on and he said he will call me back in 10 minutes and he never called me back now I have a car that I've only had for 24 day sitting in my driveway dead and will not start still under warranty and they do not want to pay to fix it how is this dealer Scranton motors getting away with this do not buy anything from them my next review will be to the better business Bureau

I have purchased 1 used vehicle, 1 loaner vehicle and 2 new vehicles from Scranton. I have delt with many people in every department and have never been unsatisfied. I was in an accident with my brand new truck and Matt Scranton was far more helpful than either insurance company. Scranton is not the closest dealership to me but they are well worth the drive and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I drove to Scranton Motors, in Vernon Connecticut From New Hampshire. After several unsuccessful attempts to find the vehicle I was looking for. When I arrived, the vehicle I was interested in was parked out front and the Salesmen was waiting for me. His name is Jimmy Yilmaz. He was welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and just down right cool. I told him I've already been pre-approved through my own bank and will not need to fill out a credit application. He then asked me what percentage rate my bank gave me. I told him 5.25%. He said give our banks a chance I Guarantee we can get you a better rate. Against my better judgement I filled out the application, and told him if I don't hear from him before 3 o'clock the next day that I was going to my bank to complete the sale. Not five minutes after I left the dealership, I received a phone call from the finance manager who informed my that I was approved and revived a rate of 4.3%. I couldn't believe it. And no I do not have an 800 Credit score. Actually my score is between 660 and 700. I am now the proud owner of a 2013 Corvette Grand Sport. The car is absolutely immaculate. Great dealership, I will definitely be returning in the near future to purchase a vehicle for my wife

Sean Kish is the reason we bought from Scranton. From the first interaction to delivery of the vehicle were nothing more than AWESOME!! The vehicle we came to look at was test driven and bought moments prior to our arrival at the dealership. We were upset to say the least it was exactly what we were looking for color, price, options. Sean knew we were discouraged, We looked at other dealerships after this and even drove a few more Acadias but it was not the same interaction. Sales staff at the other local dealerships. They were pushy and tried to get us into what they wanted to sell us. To Sean and all the staff at Scranton you are a great team, keep up the good work yo have gained a customer for life.

If you are looking for old school car dealership practices, this is the place for you. One of the only dealerships around that hasn't figured out people are too smart to pay $995 on top of MSRP for "Simonize". Quoted price was MSRP + ridiculous markups. To top it off, they put a lock on our current lease account to prevent other dealers from obtaining payoff info after just an initial visit with no discussion of pricing. If you are looking for honesty and transparency, look elsewhere.

We were out looking for a new used car and decided to see what they had to offer. We had been to 3 other dealerships and left those without a car and didn't care if we saw those sales people again. But that changed when we pulled into Scranton Motors. We saw they had about 5 GMC cars off lease and one Honda pilot. As we were peaking in the windows Nick F. came out to discuss one of the GMC cars to a gentleman. Mind you this was around 7pm on a Saturday night and they close at 6pm. So we eased dropped to hear about the car. Nick was great! He not only answered that guys questions but ours too. That Gentleman left but made an apt with Nick to return on Monday. He stayed taking to us, grabbed keys to the GMC's and the Honda. We finally left around 8pm with an apt to test drive a GMC and the Honda on Monday. While the apt was being made Shaun who is a manager came over and introduced himself to us. The whole time we were there it was like we were family. They teased Nick, we joked backed. We had not laughed at all while looking for a car until Scranton Motors. I received an email from Nick to confirm our apt on Monday. When we arrived on Monday night both cars had tags hanging down with our names on them. Which was a great feeling that no one else would be seeing them. Nick showed us all the features of both cars and we test drove them. Nick was a so professional and mature we were shocked to find out how young he was. We would never had guessed it. We felt like we made a friend while out for those test drives. We returned to the office to talk about our options and we meet Kamran who was the team Lead/manager. I loved him. between both Nick and Kamran we never felt pressured to buy they gave us all the facts and even on the Honda which was not a certified used car (since it is not a GMC car). We decided on the 2011 Honda Pilot as that has been what we were searching for and it was a great price. We put down deposit to hold the car. The next day my boyfriend had some concerns. Kamran went above and beyond to ensure his concerns were warranted and how they could handle them. Last night we picked up our new used 2011 Pilot. Nick had it waiting with a big red bow on it. All we had to do was sign all the paperwork and it was ours. I felt like we made two new friends and they made a customer out of us. I also liked that one of the Scranton family members was always there while we were in the office. We met Matt Scranton and he took the time as he was leaving for the night to make sure all our needs were met and that we were satisfied with his team. I liked that personal touch to ensure a family business is successful.

Bought a car from this dealership 2011 Acadia Denali. Engine sized at about 56000. It was towed to them and sat for over a week before they looked at it. It took 3 days shy of a month before I got it back. Now the transmission dose not shift correctly like it did before the engine change, wasting gas. They say it isn't much different than from another like vehicle. Well it is much different and it's not right. Like I said I'm using more gas because of this problem. I guess for them it's not because it's not their problem.

Everyone at this dealer is after one thing, you're money! Saw a vehicle online that I had been watching for a while. This truck had been sitting on their lot for over a month and when the price was reduced drastically, I decided to go check it out. Drove the truck and told them I would have to think about it. Within a couple of hours I received an e-mail with a price quote for almost $3,000 more than the Internet price along with a statement that a said this was a great deal because the truck was originally priced $3000 more than the quote they just gave me. They must think I'm stupid. Went back online and low and behold the price was now $4000 more than it was in the morning. You can keep your truck!Buyers beware! This dealership has one of the highest doc fees in New England. They also have hidden fees like Vin Etch fees (which is completely bogus) If you tell them you will not pay the vin etch fee, they just lump it with the doc fee like you won't notice. I'm suprised they don't charge you for the gas you use on your test drive, or for chair rental fees when you sit down to negotiate. Better yet, you guys should start charging for the air we breathe inside of your dealership. Very shady group of individuals. Will never do business with them.

I appreciate that you all stayed late Thursday to help close the deal in time for my Friday evening pickup. Rocky especially should be credited with having achieved a first ever (for me) vehicle trade-in. This is the first time ever I have chosen to turn the keys over to the automobile dealership at the time of purchase. I had always, perhaps like a stubborn youth, chosen to sell my vehicle in private sale often a long torturous ordeal. Thursday evening Rocky really took the time to find the value within my trade-in and to explain the built in tax values of trading in at the time of purchase. Mark helped select the best path through the available warranties to protect my investment and financing that meets my needs perfectly. Worst experience. Purchased a used 2012 terrain. Within 1 week the vehicle was in for service 3 times For the same issue. I decided to return this unsafe vehicle and purchase another. They had me drive a 2015 encore and loved it. Once we went back in and they crunched numbers they told me they can only give me 18,000.00 for the terrain. Um I paid 21,000.00 they claimed depreciation. IN 1 WEEK! THE CAR WAS IN FOR SERVICE MORE THAN I HAD IT.! then they said over 6000.00 was going to be rolled into the new loan. Qre yiu kidding me! Buyers beware! Family owned ok but your still criminals! Never again will I or anyone I know do business with these shady people.

They have the best customer service around. They walked me through every step of the way. I was impressed with everyone there, most importantly my sales consultant Sam Mozzicato. He was very friendly, very easy to talk to, had a good sense of humor. I would highly recommend Sam to anyone looking for a new vehicle. He even bought me and my friend doughnuts on our test ride! My stepson recently purchased a used 2005 Chevrolet Avalanche Z71 from Scranton Motors. We were told that the vehicle has been through their 170 odd point safety check & the Salesman Dan assured us he knew the person who traded in the vehicle & the vehicle was completely sound. On the test drive we thought he hear a slight cluck in the back, perhaps the Universal Joints, we asked that they check it. They didn't check them.On the day we went to pick the vehicle up, it had not been through state inspection, Salesman Dan ran the vehicle to be inspected, the dealer doesn't do inspections, & we were left to wait in the showroom for him to return some 40 minutes later. The truck did not pass inspection. We had already signed all of the paperwork & given them $4000 cash down payment for the vehicle. Salesman Dan said he would get us a dealer plate to take the truck home & after we drove it for a day or two to bring it back & he would have it inspected.We drove the truck home, my step son pulled into our driveway & told me that the oil gage hadn't moved on the dashboard the entire ride home. I told him to mention it to salesman Dan prior to completing the transaction after the inspection. My step son starts to truck to leave & it would not come out of park. We called salesman Dan, who did nothing, so we went a step up to Rocky who seemed to be a customer care person. We told Rocky what had happened with the Oil gage & the truck not coming out of park & that we wanted out of the deal. That the truck apparently had more issues then they were letting on. Rocky said he would have someone come out & get the truck, bring us a loaner & have service look at it. When the tow truck came, the tow driver tried to get the car out of park as well... wouldn't budge. He had to drag the truck out of my driveway onto the flatbed.We got a call a couple of hours later stating that the service department wasn't having any issue shifting the truck, & we were asked if we parked the truck on an incline. We explained that our driveway was on an incline & if the truck could not be parked on an incline then we could not keep it. Once again, we asked to cancel the deal & just get our money back.Next we get a call Kameron , whom I believe is a manager of some sort. He expresses a concern for what we are going through & asks if we could give them a few days to go through the truck & see if they can get the gear shift issue to repeat. We agreed & instructed them that we would give them the time they were asking for as long as they did not proceed with registering the truck or having it inspected because at that point we still wanted a refund. He agreed.A few days later I get a call from Kameron telling me that they were able to duplicate the shifting problem, &they were going to fix it. When I asked about the oil gage malfunction he said he hadn't been told about that & he would look into it. I got a call back later that day telling me that I didn't need to worry about the oil gage not working because if there was an issue with the oil and light would come on on the dashboard before anything bad happened. I explained that he couldn't be sure the light would come on, there was obviously something wrong with the dashboard.I got another call back after that telling me it was a bad cluster in the dashboard, but that they were not going to fix it. I was told that the truck had been registered & inspected & we needed to come & pick it up, the truck had been sold "AS IS".Our initial sales contract signed by salesman Dan stated the truck had a 60day/3000mile warrenty. When I sent a copy of that to Kameron he called back stating they would pay for the labor but we would need to pay for the part, a $300 part. My step son agreed.We got the vehicle back 2 wks after we initially bought it.. 3 days later the Check engine light came on. Scranton Motors is not going to do anything.I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. As far as I am concerned, they are dishonest, thieves of the worst sort.Stay away from Scranton Motors.

I am so upset with this dealership My family has purchased vehicles from them in the past my parents were interested in a new car so we took a look. In the midst of driving around the lot our brand new trucks tire got deflated by a giant car bolt . And when we approached the sales manager to ask for help he denied us any at all trying to basically say we were lying then to only say they aren't responsible for a bolt that's in their parking lot. He wouldn't plug it or anything! I cannot believe that sales manager treated us the way he did . Now I was stuck driving on this giant bolt in the tire to go pay someone else to fix it all because we were giving them business .needless to say we didn't purchase anything from them ..... But on a good note ray seraphin ford fixed it for us in no time. No questions asked :-).

Bought an older Escalade at Scranton Motors Inc. I had already left two other dealerships and their offers behind because of annoying/pushy salesman. To be honest I almost didn't show up at Scranton because of the pushy email forwards I was getting from their online personnel. However my concerns were put aside after meeting my salesman, Jim Sydoriak. Jim was not a fit to the car salesman stigma and was not pushy, annoying, or instrusive. Nothing fake about Jim. He answered my questions, took me for a test drive, and made sure he got me in my vehicle of choice in a quick manner. He even set up the on-star apps on my iphone. Jim is the man! The finance guy was very thorough, just needs to cool it on the pitches... I'm already buying a Cadillac!

I went to Scranton's interested in a used vehicle they had, I really liked it! My sales rep was very nice but sadly didn't know what he was talking about. I told the sales man I wanted to talk about price, the place was closing soon so he asked if we could meet on Monday to chat. All in all, he was pushing me to purchase this vehicle and I was all about it until he postponed our meeting until Tuesday, then Wednesday and finally for Thursday. I ended up finding a different car in that time period and went with another dealer. Please explain to me how to Scranton's took almost a week to approve me for a loan and set up a delivery date while the other dealership had in done in two hours that same day!!?? unfortunately you will not see me back there for my next car.

Two words...Jim Sydoriak. This guy was my salesman at Scranton Motors (among help from the internet department and finance guys) and he is one of the best. Low pressure, no-nonsense down to business attitude allowed him to get me extras in the car that were not even listed or included at the time. He was so friendly and helpful you would think you were dealing with family. The whole dealership is family owned (third generation) and notice that when you are inside. The owners had dogs they took out for a walk yet the whole dealership maintains a professional setting. It is spotless, relaxed, tons of amenities in the waiting rooms, etc. Great place I will buy again from them without hesitation.

I've been car shopping for a few weeks and have narrowed my choices down to a Buick Enclave or GMC Acadia Denali. I decided to go to Scranton Motors based on their positive reviews and high inventory. When we arrived at the dealership, no one was at the front desk. A few minutes later, someone came out and said that they were having a busy day, but someone would help me. Later, a very nice salesman came over and asked if I was being helped. He said he was with another customer, but he would get the manager to find another salesperson for me. We waited and waited and waited. All this time, there were three employees talking at the main desk to the rear of the showroom. I understand that they may not have been salesmen, but it gave a very bad impression. After some time, I stood up and put on my coat. Still, no one came over. After half an hour, we finally left. Today I will go to a different dealership, as I am ready to buy, but It was an extremely frustrating experience to waste so much time.

I took my truck to a different dealer for a recall and a problem with my front end . Long story short I was told the recall was completed and the front end was fine. The front end still was loose and the recall on my fan motor still was not working right. I bought a truck from Scranton years ago . Service was always good so I went out of my way to go there. I was told they would look at my truck and give me a call I was called and they had fixed my fan the recall items had not been replaced at the other dealer they also said the pitman arm and idler arm were very loose and they would be fixing them shortly. It was all covered under my warranty. I was called a two hour later and it was all set. I picked up my truck and it drove like new. Thank you for doing a great job from the man at the counter to the mech. Your service department is the reason my next new truck will be bought there.

Jackie Cahill was the woman I had the pleasure of working with this time. I find that they really go above and beyond when it comes to servicing my vehicle in a way I have never seen at any other dealership. We just bought a Cadillac SRX from them. It was used with 20, 000 miles on it. The salesman (as it turned out )didnt know what he was talking about in reference to this vehicle. We were told about all of the technology in the car such as bluetooth, ect. So we purchas ed d the vehicle thinking we were getting something up to date with the assurance from the salesman that he'll get it sorted out on mo nday. Monday comes and he tells us that specific car doesnt have anything because its included in the navagation package which this car doesn't have. Long story short, there's more technology in my 2007 Hummer, than in this 2011 Cadillac. The technology in this car consists of a backlight instrument cluster. IT CANT EVEN OPEN OUR GARAGE DOOR Furthermore, we asked for seat heat, and paid for both seats. They tried to install heat in only the back of the passenger seat.... They wontt return your calls either The courtesy car they gave us for when they put the seat heat in smelled terrible. The radio was speaker was broken, and a big wet spot of something was on the floor. Not to .ention all of the decals they had on the wwindshield made it kind of dangerous to drive, and we were Instructed not to remove them.

It's been 13 years since I bought a new car....yes 13 years! Every car that I've owned was an Oldsmobile purchased at Hoffman's. I loved my 2000 red Intrigue, but sadly Olds no longer exists. I drove 60 miles for a appointment to buy a car, 30 minutes before getting there the general manager gave the car to a friend when he knew there was someone coming for the car, disappointed I went home and decided to stop in at Scranton Motors just to ease the pain and the anger I felt. Well I am so glad I made that decision because not only did they find the car I wanted and had been saving for for years but made me feel that the disappointment I had felt previously in the day melt away. They were kind and did not dismiss the fact that this was an important event for me. I was promised some incentives and was told that services were done to my CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED vehicle that I later found were not done. When I brought that information to my sales rep and certain supervisors I was told something different. Great experience last month at Scranton Motors. We met Sean Kish, who helped us pick out new Buick Verano. Sean was easy to work with and there was no pressure at all. We were able to get a good trade-in and decided to lease for 2 years - kind of like a 2 year test drive. In the market for a new truck to replace an older vehicle we stopped at Scranton Motors and met with Sales Consultant Myles Sattler who assisted us in viewing the vehicles we were interested in. After a few days of mulling this over in our minds we finally settled on a particular vehicle and made the decision to purchase a new 2013 Sierra 4-WD truck. Throughout this entire process Myles Sattler was the consummate professional, knowledgeable, patient, extremely honest and fair in dealing with us. Recently I decided to trade in the old Malibu and figured it would be best to shop around to see what different places had to offer. I went to about ten different dealerships in the Vernon/Manchester area and had the oportunity to experience all of what dealerships close to home had to offer.. We brought our 2007 Suburban last year from them. Our salesman was David Beazer who was a very kind person, which made our experience very comfortable. We had a little misunderstand a first but we were able to work things out.And John in the service deptment went "above and beyond" our expectations when it came down to making repairs and replacements of the things that need attention.We bought a Yukon from them about 8 years ago and we had a good experience with them so we thought we'd try them again. I can't speak for anyone one else but I'll tell you. Just from the service department alone, (which is one of the most scariest parts of purchasing a used vehicle), I would definitely recommend them to anyone! Go by and see them they've got some of the "best" used vehicles out there! When you're looking for a vehicle, especially a used one, you really have to be able to trust that the dealership you are working with is ethical and has your best interest at heart. Scranton Motors was that and more! I went in with my husband (who is always skeptical of sales people and their intentions) looking for an SUV with more size, power, and overall options than our current crossover SUV had. As a firefighter, I am constantly responding to calls in my personal vehicle. I was assured that they would not only give me a wonderful competitive price on my new vehicle, but they would also transfer my blue lights from one vehicle to the other. I also had a sunroof put in after I purchased the vehicle and they did a GREAT JOB on the sunroof. Went to Scranton looking for a used SUV with low mileage. Did not buy a car from them yet had a GREAT experience. I worked with Jim Sydoriak and Tony (used car sales manager) and they were both outstnading. The service department at Scranton motors is always the worst experience. The service people are rude and don't care if you leave there happy or not. They just dismiss your complaints and don't even try to do anything to make you leave there happy. There's not many dealerships around, but very soon if things go back to how they were before, Myself as well as a group of my friends will be open to traveling as far as we can tolerate just to get away from this place. The only saving grace there seems to be to this terrible dealership is a new female, who I believe is a manager. After sitting and waiting for a simple oil change for 2 hours and being late for my appointment and having my entire day already ruined I was extremely upset and voiced my displeasure to the service person i was dealing with. He just kept apologizing with no emotion, trying to ignore what i was saying altogether and not trying to make me happy at all saying "well things happen there's not much I can do about it" I said yes there is something you can do about it!! This is ridiculous I am never coming to this dealership ever again! You have no concept of how to treat a customer, and I was over charged and charged for something I never authorized or signed for either! All this gentlemen said was ok and continued stapling my paperwork. Again voicing my dissatisfaction with the entire situation a young blonde woman i believe her name was karen who was the only person that appeared to be a manager, overheard how upset i was and stepped in immediately apologizing and took over. She then said something that in all the years I've been there that nobody had ever said. That she values and appreciates my business and does not want me to leave unhappy and wants to do whatever she can to make things right for me!! Oh my god! Finally they got somebody that is an actual manager and knows how to treat customers and fix things! I repeated to her my displeasure with the whole experience and she listened and actually cared. She then said that for my inconvenience and the unpleasant experience that she would take care of my bill. I then asked about the courtesy inspection that I'm told is done at every visit so I can see what the condition of everything is in or if I have anything I need to plan for soon. Seeing the gentlemen I dealt with never went over this supposed courtesy inspection and I never received a copy of it. So she apologized and printed it out for me and went over everything with me and the repairs I would need soon, which I would have never known seeing I wasn't even given this paper or advised on anything! That's dangerous! Again the female manager apologized and assured me that changes will be made and that she is going to do everything in her power to fix things so that I won't have an experience like that again and that she wants me to return to the dealership and to be happy with each and every visit. My god, they finally have somebody there that knows what they are doing and knows how to treat customers, i can't believe it. She even walked me out to my car and opened my door for me!! I was going to leave and never come back again and tell the few friends I have that are customers as well to never come back! At the end of my experience my mind was changed and I left happy and will tell my friends ( who haven't had many good experiences either) that things are finally changing for the better and I will be more than happy to return to the dealership as long as she is there! It was a pleasure to deal with her, thank you!

Jim Sydoriak of Scranton Motors is truly a professional and made our experience purchasing a 2010 GMC Sierra an absolute joy. Jim went out of his way to arrange the test drive of the truck and helped immensely with the financing of the vehicle. What to do when you had just bought a used sport type car and because of back problems you can't get in or out of it without pain.Well I when to Scranton motors in Vernon. I was greeted by Matt Scranton,he said I will do my best to resolve your problem, and he did. I was put with Jim Sydoriak.Jim serched the whole yard to find something that would fit our needs and pocketbook.This man drove it to my house to make sure my wife could drive it also. Jim took care of everything.He explained things so you could understand.I was extremly happy with the way he turned my problem into an unpainfull sucess.Hopefully Jim is still there in six years for my next car. Last week my husband John and I had a problem with our Buick Enclave, and brought it in for service. Having many years in customer service at times I can be very critical of what I expect as service, I have to tell you the service department Tony and his co workers were just outstanding. We did not original purchase our vechical here in CT, and were a little nervous on how service would work out. The honesty and integrity of GM and Scranton Motors has made us feel confident in our decision to continue to buy GM. thank you all for your wonderful work and customer service.

I just bought a new Envoy yesterday, after looking for a looonnng time for a good used car, (and nearly being bilked by one dealer who tried to sell me a car with 183,000 miles on it according to CARFAX while the odometer read 76,000!) Finding Scranton Motors and dealing with Jim Sydoriak was a breath of fresh air. Everyone at Scranton was helpful, (thanks, Val!) and really nice, and the whole process was smooth and pleasant.

From the minute we walked on the lot to the delivery of the vehicle we were going to purchase everyone was very friendly and understanding of our needs. Had to write a letter about our most recent visit to Scranton Motors. I own an 08 Chevy Cobalt SS Turbo and just hit 48,000mi. I have had Scranton work on my vehicles many times before. This time was a little sad for me. My car died on the side of the road and left us in the cold over last weekend. I had it towed into Scranton of course. Monday I stopped in to get a few things from my vehicle. I get clearance to walk into the mechanic bays to find my baby, with blankets on it, up on a lift, no front tires, and my motor in a couple of pieces.(so nicely organized) After the shock of seeing the inside of my motor, the mechanic Jim Beudreau (not sure if I spelled that correctly) quickly assured me that everything would be okay! My timing chain had snapped :( Doing a few other unmentionable things to my motor. The Service Manager, John Avery, made sure that GM would cover this as I have just passed my warranty coverage, but had the timing tensioner replaced at 30K, and it had continued to make noises. After a few days, my baby back in my hands. I couldn't be a happier girl! They ended up replacing all the timing chain parts, valve guides, head gasket, had to take the oil pan off due to broken parts making it inside there. I also had them replace the serpentine belt, a couple tires, and do an alignment. I walked out of Scranton $400 later and the happiest I have been with my vehicle in a long time. What makes this not so great experience with my vehicle, a pleasant one is the wonderful mechanics, managers and family down at Scranton Motors. I wouldn't recommend anyone but them to care for and take care of your car. A HUGE thank you to our mechanic Jim, you made our car run better than it has in a long time. I cannot even imagine all the time and work you put into her, and it will never be forgotten. Thank you again everyone involved! We are for sure Scranton For lifers! Estelle & Jarrod Percoski

I dealt with Matt Scranton and he was attentive and responsive to my purchasing needs. matt showed he cared about my purchase experience as he went over every detail of my paperwork, the features of my new vehicle and he personaly went with me on my orientation drive. The promised me an exceptional experience and they delivered a new car and the EXCEPTIONAL experience. I sent in my CSI from the manufacturer and answered COMPLETELY SATISFIED! Marion took the time to explain all financing, terms and all value added bonuses they offer at the finance department. I took some of the products but not all as I am covered by some of my own insurances yet Marion was patient and a joy to deal with.I was introduced to the service staff and they even booked my first FREE oil change. It is nice to know that Scranton Motors cares enough about me to ensure I have a contact in service that is just as caring and professional as the sales team.
