Horrible customer service
Major Problems with my car in less than 3 years and was told that since I am not a "loyal" customer they will not work with me. By "loyal" I was told I do not get all of my service done at Infiniti. including oil changes, therefore I am not a valued customer. On top if it, paid $200 for them to tell me the same thing I told them was wrong with car (I even told them the error code). Allie knows the warranty and was deceitful about that as well. Bought my car at this dealer and referred a friend here. Would never buy another car from this dealer. Worst customer service I have ever received at a dealer.

Salerno Duane Infiniti
I was very pleased with Salerno-Duane Infiniti. After shopping around a couple of other dealerships and other brands too we decided to go with Salerno Duane. I purchased my wife a 2016 Qx60 (we love the car).i'll definitely come back again for my personal car. It was the first time I felt great leaving a dealership and not second-guessing myself. The price was right completely hassle-free. Kevin our sales rep was very knowledgeable and the back office David had everything prepared for us and got us an amazing rate on our finance... great over all experience definitely five stars.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE! I purchased a car less than 9 months ago. For physical reasons (injury) the car no longer works for me. Knowing this, they offered me less than 1/2 of what I paid for a 9-month old car with less than 15,000 miles in perfect condition. They don't stand by their product, and don't know what customer care is. Unless you want the stereotypical "used car salesman" experience, don't do business here.
Bought Certified Pre-Owned G37
First time at this dealership and I really liked it! I shopped online and saw the car I wanted, so I sent a message to the dealership. Kevin Tonero responded right away. He was very responsive, helpful and cheerful, and took me through the whole process. He answered all my questions and I really like that he will also be the rep I interact with when I bring my car in for service, etc. Long story short, he had me in for a test drive, I liked the car and decided to buy it. Three days later I drove away with it! Plus, they treated me very fairly with respect to my trade-in. Steve in financing was cool too. Danielle, who showed me all the car's features, was very sweet and very helpful as well. Was a great experience all around!

Although I had to travel 90 miles to reach Denville, my trip to Salerno-Duane was fulfilling. I met with sales associate Travis Tighe, who was undaunted by he fact that I am not purchasing until August. Mr. Tighe took the time to explain the obvious and subtle distinctions between the vehicles In which I showed interest. It was a relaxing, pressure-free visit and when the time to make my purchase has arrived, I will surely visit Travis Tighe.

Unexpected Exceptional Sales Experience
As a long time multiple Nissan owner, my wife and I decided to look at the Infiniti line and went to Salerno Duane because it's close to where we live. From the time we walked in the door we were welcomed and immediately introduced to our salesman Scott K. In my 30+ years of buying cars, he was without a doubt one of the most professional and straight forward I've ever encountered. While we were planning on buying a car In a couple of months, Scott and Salerno Duane made it such a good experience we bought the QX60 that same day. Honestly we came in excited about the car and were likely to end up buying it in time. However, given the experience and how much my wife loved the car, we couldn't be happier now that we just picked it up last night. Overall, an outstanding experience. Assuming we'll love our new Infiniti as much as we did the sales experience, we may just be Salerno Duane Infiniti customers for a long time to come.

Amazing Dealership with Great people like Bob
I had a great experience here at Salerno Duane Infiniti. My mom and I have been to 2 other dealerships and found that Salerno Duane Infiniti was the most helpful and caring. Bob is a great salesman that understood what we wanted and found the perfect vehicle with a great price. Right before we signed the paperwork we were brought into a nice well lit room to inspect the car for any imperfections. The finance manager was funny and entertaining during the purchase process. Afterwards Bob showed me how to work the vehicle by setting up the bluetooth, showing car features, and explaining how to access the different menus. I left excited and happy with the infiniti Q50 with the color and options that we wanted. This is the 1st Infiniti that our family has had. They made everything so simple and pleasant
Shopped around a lot before settling on a CPO Infiniti G37x. I pretty much knew exactly what car on the lot I wanted since the website was so well done. I sent one email and Bill Gusta got right back to me, got the process moving, scheduled a test drive, made sure the car was on the lot when I was due to arrive, and in less than an hour and a half I had signed paperwork and scheduled delivery. Bill was absolutely a pleasure to deal with and didn't play any of the usual sales games you might expect. Just honest, efficient, straightforward, and transparent. When it came time to pick up the car the entire sales team was just fabulous -- Danielle helped show me around my new car, Bill hooked me up with David Kasliner, and we were good to go. I felt very taken care of and cared for as a human being by David -- I really felt like he actually cared that I got what was right for me. Horrible buying experience
Went in to buy a new Q50. Horrible sales experience. Got a quote of $3200 off MSRP. Supposedly this was the Costco discount - though nobody ever showed me anything to confirm that. Luckily for me I had the Edmunds and Truecar pricing in hand, both significantly better. I told the sales manager this - he looked at me like I had two heads and told me my info was wrong. told me to take my business elsewhere and good luck to me. I did and imagine my "surprise" when another dealer offered my $6900 off of MSRP in about 20 minutes flat - after I produced the estimates from Edmunds and Truecar. I was a former customer at Salerno - will never set foot in there again and will certainly recommend that friends and family do same. If I could give less than a 1 star rating, I would.
Purchased 2 cars in 2 weeks
My family and I love this dealership. My dad purchased a car for my mom from Salerno Duane Infinti. She wanted specific details in her car and Bill Gusta searched high and low until he found her car. He made the experience so comfortable and easy going for my dad that when I decided I was ready to take on my first car payment, 2 weeks later I went right back to Bill. Again, Bill took the time to open and test drive every car that interested me to make sure I too was getting everything I wanted in my Infinti. I did not have to settle for anything and drove away with exactly what I wanted. Everyone at Salerno Duane made us feel so comfortable and at home that I will go to this Infinti dealership for my maintenance and anything else I need despite it being 40 minutes away from home. The customer service is amazing. Bill is great, so I recommend going to him to help you find your ideal car. I promise you will feel as good as I do knowing you are purchasing a car from a dealership that does not just want your money but deeply cares about your interests in what you want in your car. Gary is nice too. He is the head of the sales dept. I believe. He took care of me and gave me a great deal on my car alongside Bill. Steven was great too. He's the guy you will meet when it is time to finalize the deal and sign away on your ideal car. He made my experience comfortable as I was a little nervous about taking on such a luxurious car for my first car payment. He offered me all the important warranty packages I would need to make sure I was covered 100% with this car. We went to Salerno Duane under the recommendation of a coworker who also had a wonderful experience. We were told to ask for Travis and we were so glad that we did. He made us feel comfortable and wasn't pushy. He answered all of our questions and even made our 2 daughters feel welcomed. We ended up purchasing a QX60 and we absolutely love it! The experience was pleasant and we got our car that day. Danielle took the time to sit with me and go over all of the cars features and to answer all of my questions. Pleasant Experience
I recently purchased a used 2008 Honda Civic that we saw online for my son. We had the good fortune to buy the car from Travis Tighe. I was pleased that Travis told me right away that a motor mount would need to be replaced instead having to test drive it and find out for myself. Aside from another minor issue that Travis took care of, we are extremely pleased with the calm and professional demeanor that Travis has. Every question we had was answered and the follow-up was just as good. A great first time buying experience for my son.

Travis was our assigned rep through the Costco auto program, and he was extremely professional and friendly when we arrived. He sat us down to gauge the type of vehicle that best for our needs. He was a wealth of knowledge and answered any all questions that we had about the 2015 QX60 AWD and all the additional packages that we decided on purchasing. He gave us a pricing sheet with a large discount off the MSRP price and explained what the discounts were for as well (Costco+dealer incentive discounts). Suffice it to say we were sold right away, we were able to pickup our car in 1 business day. It was honestly the easiest car buying experience I have ever had. Fantasitic Sales and Customer Service of our QX60
This was our first Infiniti after being a Mercedes, BMW and Audi customer. We were reluctant at first going with a Japanese luxury. Travis Tighe our salesman was really great and continues to follow up with us on a regular basis. We had an issue with staining of the leather of the back seats from a friends cocktail dress on the way to a sweet 16. We were so upset since the vehicle was only three weeks old.Our salesman and service department really stepped up and had a leather specialist remove the stains since they were not able to do so. Choosing Salerno Duane Infiniti
From the first visit when I met Christian, he was very attentive and helpful but was never aggressive or pushy in his approach. After test driving a couple of cars, I was still unsure as to which model Infiniti I really wanted. He was very diligent in sending me a weekly e-mail update in terms of what models were available and always focused in on trying to help me find what I was looking for.Ultimately, I decided on a CPO 2014 Q50 and had casually mentioned in an e-mail the model/color I was looking for. He contacted me immediately as soon as the dealership got the CPO Q50s in, as the exact model and color I wanted was in. I had initially found the car in CT but it had a black interior and I wanted a wheat interior. They had exactly what I was looking for.Afterwards I came in to test drive and check out the car. Our experience at this dealership was great. We purchased a pre-owned 2012 Infiniti, the price was affordable and we received a very fair trade in value on our car. Travis, our salesman was extremely knowledgeable and everyone was very nice and professional. The newly purchased car required a new windshield wiper reservoir. We called service, made an appointment on a day that was convenient for us and the part was installed in a speedy manner while we waited. First truecar.com showed me Salerno as best price and I was searching in radius of 150 miles. Then Kevin contact me fast (he out bid other local to me dealer with lighting speed) with even better deal. Bad Experience
This dealer advertised a 2007 Volvo S60 for 4500. and when I called to find out the details I was told by Raz it sold, then was told the price is 8999.Then was told they had problems with the internet site. The car he wants to sell me for 8999. is the exact same car he advertised for 4500. On the dealers car advertisement In the sellers notes it says "Our "No Gimmick" philosophy delivers the best possible car buying experience for our customers". For me this was Not a good experience at all. I am actively looking to buy a car but now will buy elsewhere.

This is our first Infinity and our salesman, John Greenwald, definitely earned his keep dealing with us. My 2004 Infiniti FX35 was totaled in an accident so I unexpectedly had to purchase a car. I knew I wanted the same car so I started shopping CPOs on the Internet. I contacted a few dealers, including the dealership I had previously purchased two vehicles at. But when I spoke with Betsy Starch at Salerno Duane Infiniti of Denville, I was immediately impressed by her knowledge, professionalism, friendliness and attentiveness to my needs. Out of the 4 new cars I've ever purchased (all leased), 3 have been Infinitis, and all from Salerno Duane Infiniti. My first new car lease ever was with Nissan, and since then I upgraded to 2 G-sedans ('08 G35x and '12 G37x), and most recently to a 2015 Q50 AWD Premium w/Nav. So I'm definitely an Infiniti-guy at this point, but as this is about reviewing the dealer, my main point is that I've been doing business with Salerno Duane Infiniti for now 3 consecutive vehicles, since 2008. In that time, I also worked with 3 different salesmen. The same one helped me with my first 2 vehicles from them, and when I found out he was no longer with Salerno Duane Infiniti I was honestly a bit anxious because in that time we had developed a great professional rapport and I was truly worried about what my experience would be like moving forward with any other salesmen there.. To me, it's not just about the deal, it's about the WAY people do business.. Long story short, my worries were put to rest when I met and spoke with the two gentlemen who'd be working with me moving forward - Kevin Tonero and Scott Kammerer. These guys are both first class, professional, honest, have integrity, were a pleasure to work with, and I'm looking forward to the next time we get to do business again in the future. I think it's safe to say you'll receive the same level of care and service from any of their team. Oh and btw, I guess it's also worth mentioning: I've always gotten just the BEST deals with Salerno Duane Infiniti, and the deal on my new Q50 was no exception! I leased an Infiniti Q50 premium. I found the service and experience to be top notch. I don't buy or lease a car that often, so I don't always look forward to going to a typical car dealership. But this is not a typical dealership. It knows how to treat customers. I'm talking from start to finish.My salesperson Scott K. was great, helpful, responsive to questions and emails, professional, polite and willing to go out of his way to find out information on the car you are interested in. I actually wasn't sure on the options and colors I wanted (they all looked great). Scott showed me many different cars with the different trims and colors to help me decide. We also test drove a few to see how the different features perform. I would go back to this dealership in a heartbeat when it comes time for a new car again. 100% recommended.I just want to point out too that when we finally were ready to take the car home, there was an associate to sit in the car and walk us through all of the features of the car. It was very helpful being there is so much technology in cars nowadays. The Q50 especially.

My experience was great at Salerno Infiniti and Kevin gave me a straight forward price with no hidden fees, extra costs, etc. They were all very nice and knowledgeable and have great customer service. After we agreed on the price of the car and trade in we went for a test drive and Kevin did not rush me at all and explained most of the car features.I was dealing with Fette Infiniti in Clifton and they were not nice at all, ther internet manager was very arrogant. Travis has been truly exceptional helping us with our purchase of QX60. My experience at Salerno was pleasant, the only hick-up that I experienced was I informed that the car that I purchased had the navigation feature which was very important to me and it didn't have it. Unfortunately, I did not realize this until after I picked up my vehicle and was going through familiarizing myself with all of the features. As a result the one recommendation that I would make would be to make sure your sales associates review the features of the vehicle while you are in fact in the car.

We have always been treated with courtesy and respect from the Service Manager to the car washers. No matter what the problem, it was corrected expertly! All the service staff is courteous and professional, however Ms. Allie Hoffman is efficiency personified. She goes above and beyond to accommodate our requests. She is a real asset to Salerno. We will continue to bring our cars to Salerno for service as we don't think anyone can top them for expertise in repairs or customer service. When we replace our cars you can be sure we will buy them from Salerno. REFUND PROCESS
The customer service was vey great but they don't provide enough information or should I say accurate? After I explained my credit situation, the salesperson told me that they have no problm with my credit score issue; the reason I mention the situatio before because it doesn't look good after running the credit, you get rejected. But sales person said no problem with the deal as long I am making enough money and can prove it. But after running the credit they rejected my application because I have a lease with Mazda(which I already mentioned). Since I was determined to buy the car, I made a deposit to hold the car and my application got rejected on March 9th; its been 10 days, I still didn't get my refund and I tried to get in touch with Kevin couple times but I got in touch with him just once. I really hate to make calls or shoot email when a company like this should do the processing as fast as possible butalas to my surprise they were quick to took the money out of my account but not showing any interest to give it back. I am 26, I have my whole life ahead and local from New Jersey; the treatment I received from this place helped me to decide not to go back there when I will start car shopping by end of this summer.

I recently purchased a new Q50 from Scott Kammerer. When I started the shopping process Scott was able to work with me to find the perfect car. I didnt think I was going to be able to afford a Q50 but Scott did some research and found out my company was part of a Infiniti VPP program that help lower the price drastically. He was also the only salesman I worked with who was very responsive over email. Overall this was the most painless car shopping experience I ever had. Effortless and Enriching Experience- QX80
It does not get better than this. I just moved back to the USA after two years in Switzerland. Had an urgent need for a large vehicle. Came to Duane Salerno Infiniti as was about to buy the vehicle before I was shipped overseas. I met Kevin and he provided an unbiased, objective assessment of my needs and recommended 2 vehicles . I netted out on the QX80. After the initial meeting all my dealings were on e mail and phone. Kevin located the EXACT colour an spec of vehicle I wanted, had it shipped and stored for 5 weeks, while I went back to Switzerland. Do not recommend this dealer for service
I used Salerno Duane Infiniti to service my vehicle 3 separate times. Despite difficulty in navigating their contact process, I did actually get them to work on the car. The experiences I had were increasingly poor, with the final one being sufficiently bad that it has made me decide to not go back to them. This is unfortunate, since it will mean I am very unlikely to buy an Infiniti again and will have to get my service elsewhere for the rest of the life of this vehicle. On the other hand it is fortunate, in that it has made me find a better and less expensive service option. Their approach to scheduling a service appointment is to assign you a contact person and have you work with that individual. They actually have several people in house, but contacting them is problematic. In the numerous times I called to speak with service, I did not once directly reach a person. The system consistently directed me through the automated voice response system and eventually got me to a place where it asked me which of the 4 people on the service team I want to leave a message for. When they called back it was generally at a time that was inconvenient for me to answer the phone. Eventually, I determined I had to drop whatever else I was doing and answer it anyway, since calling them back always led to the answering system and another call at an inconvenient time. I bought the car at the Infiniti dealership in Ann Arbor, Michigan and had my initial experience with service there. I had uniformly good to excellent experiences in Michigan. Salerno Duane gives you an opportunity to rate the service. I rated them poorly the first time, reflecting my frustration with making my appointment. My reward for the feedback was 4 phone calls all asking me the same questions and trying to assure me they would do better. By the third call I was tired of speaking with them. The same thing happened after the second service. My third and final interaction with them, they did not provide a formal opportunity to feedback. Perhaps they had decided by then that they did not want to hear from me. Instead I sent an e-mail in to e-mail address they provided to explain:1.They seemed to be unable to get what I asked them to do2.They did not keep me informed about the progress of my service3.They did not address the issues I brought the vehicle in forI took it in, because there was a slow leak in the front tires, I had an issue with the battery that I had needed to use the booster cables to get the car started and so I wanted to be sure there wasnt a bigger problem, and to get an oil change. About 15 minutes into the time I spent in the waiting room, Hector came out to ask if I wanted an oil change. After 1 hour and 15 minutes spent in the waiting room, I went out to ask what was happening. I was told they were still working on the battery. They had decided to put it on a charger after testing it. It apparently was still in good shape, but they felt the charge was the surest way to make sure it was good. That was probably a good decision. It would have been a better decision if they had spent a couple of minutes to actually tell me what they were doing and that it was going to take a while. After another 15 minutes, it was done and I was able to leave. Unfortunately they did not address the issue with the front tires. A week later, I needed to pump the tires up again as my warning light had come on (again). I sent an e-mail to the service manager (Walter Frimberger) and then heard nothing from them. I called to see if they had received my message and got no information. When I received an e-mail from Walter about something else I replied to it to ask if they had received my original message. He replied to that message to say, yes they had got the message and that they had discussed it internally. I guess they had also decided to ignore me from then on because without my following up I would not have heard from them. The issue with the tires required a visit to another service center, where they removed the tires, cleaned out the rims and applied a new sealant and re-installed the tires. It was not a difficult job, but it did need to be done. I would have not been upset with Salerno Duane if things had been handled differently. First, if they could have figured out a way for me to contact them to schedule things that did not create such frustration and take so long. Second, if they had a process for actually knowing what you asked them to do and then did it. Third, if they had acknowledged that they had thoroughly screwed things up and then put some effort into correcting things. For example, an offer to come and get the vehicle and correct the problem they had not addressed when I brought the vehicle to them would have satisfied me. Instead, they seem to have decided to ignore me and hope I would go away. They partially succeeded in that. I will not go back for service, nor will my next vehicle purchase be from them. I will however share my experiences with others to make people aware that they should not expect the premium service usually available at premium vehicle dealers. The service offered by Salerno Duane does not come anywhere close to what you should expect from a high end dealer. It does not even achieve a level you should expect from any dealer. I am now going to a local independent mechanic, and feel I am likely to get much better service for a fraction of the price.
The Best
I had to take my G37 in two days in a row to address a squeak I was hearing in my engine. The first day- the service department fixed something I didn't even know was wrong and didn't take a dime of my money. After realizing the squeak was still hanging around, I took it back to the dealership and within 5 minutes the service manager Walter offered to come for a ride so I can show him my problem. He noticed it as well and told me it would be no issue at all. Fast forward another 20 minutes and the gentleman Walter is handing my keys back, problem completely addressed, AND AGAIN DIDN'T CHARGE ME A CENT! I've spent a couple hundred dollars on minor issues and maintenance with them so it felt great to know that a simple fix wouldn't cost me $100+ in labor just to put the thing up in the air. They were eager to help, clearly had my interest in mind when they took time to help me two days in a row and were friendly the whole way- even to a customer who did NOT purchase there! I have no reason to think I was treated any differently than is the extremely high standard at Salerno Duane Infiniti. These guys are the REAL DEAL! As someone with experience in auto and service sales, I couldn't ask for better circumstances. Thank you to the service department and Walter especially.

Got my 2nd Infiniti
Just leased my 2nd Infiniti from the same dealership. The sales man who got me my first lease wasn't there anymore so I ended up getting the car from Kevin. I didn't see Kevin until the day I actually got the car. We both communicated through e-mail because it was more easier and comfortable for me. I ask him a question and he replies back with an answer right away. Usually other dealerships, they call you everyday and try to make you come in so they can play with you. Kevin was different. He never called me nor asked me to come in first to get the exact number for the lease. So after I got the numbers I walked into the dealership and came out with new car on the same day. It was very fast because they do all their paper work electronically. Also Steven Walder, the finance manager was very nice too. He wasn't pushing me to buy any unnecessary add ons or warrantys.I have few Infiniti dealerships around my town but I got my both Infiniti from this dealership. It's well worth of 1hr drive!

I leased an Infiniti about 3 years ago, and as my lease neared it's end, Andy Glick, my sales rep, called me and asked if I was interested in a new car. I was. He was extremely accommodating to my general laziness about the whole thing - can't tell you how many times I put him off! He was not obtrusive in any way, but when I said "call me in two weeks" that is exactly what he did. Several times. He is very low key and professional. In the end we finally got together and today I picked up a new Infiniti Q50 on a terrific lease deal.I caused this purchase to be way more complicated than usual because the car I initially picked, bought, and put a deposit on didn't have a couple of option packages that I eventually decided I couldn't live without. So, two days after putting down a deposit I called Andy and let him know I really wanted a different car. Absolutely no problem, no grumbles, no pressure to take the first car. Just "sure, no problem". He transferred the deposit and gave me just as good a deal on the other car. We were able to do the whole thing on the phone including the final price negotiation with Steven Walder, the business manager. So I didn't have to go the dealership again until I picked up the car, which was very convenient for me. I won't tell you what I paid for the car - actually Capitalized Cost since I leased - but I will say that I shopped around and I am sure I got a great deal, and that I paid well under the area average for this car. At the same time, I was not trying to steal the car, as my POV is that car dealers have to eat too. So I got a good deal and they made what I think is a fair profit on the car. When I went to finalize the paperwork and pick up the car there was none of usual high pressure nonsense from either Andy or Steven to get me to buy dealer add-ons. Also, they have a new computerized system that condensed what used to be piles of signed lease papers down to a few minutes and a couple of signatures on a computer pad. It's faster and more convenient than the old way. Steven went out of his way to explain every number on the lease contract. He even pulled up another screen to show me the money factor (roughly equivalent to interest on a lease). If you read around you'll find that dealers are not required to disclose this an many don't, which makes it difficult to insure the lease calculations are correct. In this case I was able to independently verify that the deal I thought I was getting was in fact the deal I got. The dealership offers free scheduled maintenance for the first year and they set up the first appointment for me at a time that fit my needs. Sure, they want to get you into the habit of maintaining the car in their shop, but in the meantime in 30 years of buying new cars it's the first time anybody offered to schedule the first appointment so I didn't have to remember to do it later. And for the first year anyway, free is free.These new cars have a lot of tech, and when I picked up the car Andy spent over an hour going over every aspect of the car's operation with me. Every switch, button, and touch function. He got my phone linked up for calls and audio (Bluetooth) playback, and and set my personal preferences for the steering response and transmission mode. That's the thing about these guys. They do what they say they are going to do and they are very thorough. My last car was also a lease and my past experience with other dealers - particularly one that sells that Bavarian auto of great renown - is that the end of the lease comes with a big "excess wear" price tag. My car was in good but nowhere near perfect condition, with something like six or seven scratches / nicks / small dents etc. I was charged nothing for excess wear. The dealership is modern and well staffed. They obviously go out of their way to train their staff. The dealership is very clean. Even the sitting room for the service area is clean, not grimy as is often the case. They have an actual human being who answers the phone and she is always very pleasant and calls me by name. Overall I had a very pleasant buying experience, from nice people. If you're looking for a new Infiniti, give Salerno Duane a try. This is the second car that I purchased from them, and it probably won't be my last.

He was a pleasure to work with since he provided me with all the info I needed to do my analysis and make a buy decision. However the service didn't stop there. I returned with my Infiniti G37x coupe that I bought as a used car over a year previously. During my ownership rust started developing in the driver's door. As I went to the local Infiniti dealer for warranty service, their body shop indicated that the car had been in an accident and the rusting door was the responsibility of the body repair shop. The car fax on this vehicle recored no instances of accident or repair. When I reported this to Raz Pomar of Salerno Infiniti he expressed that this was news to him as well and invited me to return for confirmation. As he inspected the car, he agreed with the assessment and provided full repair of the door with the use of an Infiniti G37 sedan as a loaner for a week as the body shop worked on my car. The work done was excellent and is of course guaranteed . The repair and the use of the loaner was all done without charge to me. Mr. Pomar is the manager of the used car section and his behavior and service were outstanding. If I get another Infiniti car, there is no question that I would come to Salerno. Kevin Parent
