My most pleasant car buying experience began when I visited the web site of Rusty Wallis Honda. Ispotted a certified 2014 Honda Accord EX-L, fully loaded, very low mileage and immaculate condition. I called the dealership to inquire and was told by Lauren that I would be contacted bythe salesman Kevin Harper. Mr. Harper called shortly and we made an appointment for a test drive.When we arrived we met Kevin, who was very friendly,, the car buying anxiety disappeared. After a nice test drive, we went in the office to work out an agreement. Kevin was very professional. He listened andanswered all our quetions and showed a genuine interest in meeting our desire as well as those of the dealership.A deal was made.We then went to the business office where we met John Haddock, business manager,who too was very nice, he had all papers ready to be signed.and 10 minutes later wehad the keys and was driving home. From the time we were greeted at the door to the second he was given his keys- this was a great experience for my son. My 20 year old needed a reliable car for college with a reasonable car payment. Kevin was honest and thorough throughout the whole buying process and presented cars in my son's price range and even taking the insurance into consideration for his age. We went to two car lots that day and came back to Rusty Wallis the second time to speak back with Kevin. We came back because we trusted Kevin. Long story short my son got a really NICE Honda Civic and it was exactly what he wanted. The Business Manager John Haddock was awesome as well!! He walked us through the financing options and everything lined up perfectly! To see the smile on my son's face and to walk with him through his first car buying experience was AWESOME! Thanks Kevin! I live in McKinney which isnt terribly far away, but I admit that Rusty Wallis Honda wasnt originally on my short-list of dealerships to visit when I began my search for a new, pre-owned vehicle. However, due to a series of fortunate events, thats where I ended up one Monday night after work. When I pulled into the used car department, I noticed that there werent any other cars in the customer parking area. And, on top of that, there was a sales representative hanging around outside the entrance fairly near me. I was starting to get that feeling you know, that mild feeling of dread/anxiety, like youre walking into the shark tank and you know youre not the shark. Anyway, I got out of my vehicle and was pleasantly surprised that I wasnt immediately accosted by the salesman. Instead, he just casually watched as I looked around before heading toward the building. Thats when I was welcomed and I genuinely believe that welcomed is the right word here by Kevin Harper. He was extremely pleasant and easy to talk to. I never once got that stereotypical, slick used car salesman vibe. Hes just a regular, nice guy who happens to sell used cars. I had been doing research for days, so I had a pretty good idea of exactly what I was looking for, and I knew that they had exactly one car on the lot which fit the description: a three year old, certified Civic, with 30-40K miles. Sadly, someone had beaten me to it. Well, since I was already there, I decided to take a look around and see what else they had mainly to firm up in my mind what color I wanted when I went out shopping again later that week. Well, Kevin walked me around and showed me what they had, and he even drove me to the back of the lot and showed me some of the inventory which they had just purchased but that hadnt been through the reconditioning process yet. I saw a couple of vehicles which I liked but based on the years (newer) and the mileage (lower), I knew they were out of my price range.Thats when my new friend Kevin Harper said something I was highly skeptical about: What if we can make the numbers on one of these work out the same as the car I had seen online before? Well, I didnt have anywhere else to be that night, and there werent tons of customers or anything for me to be taking him away from, so I figured, why not Ill go along with this for a bit; I was kind of curious to see how it would play out.So, we got in the office and started looking at the numbers. I had read a ton of articles online about how youre supposed to negotiate the best deal with a used car salesman; things to do; things to not do. Well, since I was pretty confident we were going to be *really* far apart on price and werent going to be making a deal on any of the cars we had been looking at, I decided to just toss all of that advice out the window and tell him straight-up how much I could afford to make as a down payment and how much I could afford to spend each month, both what I was comfortable spending and what I could stretch and spend. And if they had a car on the lot that I wanted and would work with those numbers then we would be in business.So, here is the awesome part: After a bit of back and forth, we ended up coming to an agreement on a much better car than I thought I was going to be able to afford at a price that was exactly within my budget! Instead of getting a three year old, certified Civic, with 40K miles, I ended up making a deal on a one year old Civic with just over 20K miles. I literally got more car for my money than I was expecting, and I couldnt be happier. How awesome is that!?! I mean, seriously, when was the last time you bought a car and actually felt good about the experience? Well, if youre in the market for a certified Honda, visit Rusty Wallis Honda, ask for Kevin Harper, and then see for yourself. Well, if youve read this far and are still with me, heres how the rest of the process went down. Next up was financing with Manny Garcia. He was so much nicer than the last finance person I worked with of course, that was at a different dealership which shall not be named. He didnt try to sell me a bunch of needless add-ons, though he did make a very reasoned argument for why I should consider purchasing an extended warranty. There was a small hiccup with the interest rate, but only because the banks were closed so they couldnt negotiate a percentage lower than what they had on file for my credit rating (which was in the highest bracket). I was confident I would qualify for a lower rate, so I asked to take the buyer sheet and just call around in the morning (while they did the same) to secure the loan and then finish the deal in the morning.Thats when I was introduced to Mr. Syed Abidi, the new car sales manager. He was happy to modify the contract slightly so that I was guaranteed to get rate I wanted and after visiting with me he even authorized a modest price adjustment to the vehicle as well. Dont get me wrong, it isnt like he lowered the price by thousands of dollars or anything, but it was enough to move my payment from my stretch budget back towards my original, comfortable budget. Im sure they still made money on the deal, but it was an unexpected courtesy that made me an even more satisfied customer.So much so, in fact, that Rusty Wallis Honda will now be the first place I shop for all of my future car purchases. Dot. The End.TL/DR: Great staff. Great service. Oh yeah, and I got an awesome deal on an awesome car even better than what I expected or though was possible. Very unreliable and dishonest to say the least Jason in finance cussed while on the phone with me. Ran my sons credit 18 times because they couldn't keep up with what was going on. I regret ever trusting them with my personal info. Went to another dealership and had a much better vehicle better price much better customer service lower payments lower down within an hour and that's how I know Rusty Wallace Honda of Dallas really did me and my son dirty!!! Horrible business!

After being rear ended 7/30/16, after driving rental for month and a half- insurance decided to total my Ford Taurus . Not knowing when or what insurance was giing to do-- I didn't really look for a vehicle. Then suddenly everything was wrapped up- I paid for rental about a week-- spent one whole day looking on line -- starting to panic. One question everyone asked- what kind of car do you want? Honestly no idea. Late in afternoon I found 3 at Rusty Wallis to test drive.. 10 mins I was there. Eric Collier walked out to meet me as I got out. We shook hands and the race was on. I told him I needed a car now , no payments,work out of car, etc etc. I also had 3. Vehicle in mind. One was sold so we tested a Mazda CX -HUGE! Drove great but way too big for me. No pressure from Eric, answered all my crazy questions- if he didn't know answer he acknowledged he didn't but would find answer- he did. Drove 3rd car on my list-- that was it. It fit me bette, would accommodate work needs. Eric never pressured left decicion up to me wasn't pushy plesant to spend drive time with. Went back next day to sign papers- it was a lil slow at that time but it was end of day on Saturday . Eric stayed with process actually handed keys to me and made sure I was comfortable before I waved to him in my mirror.

I drive my converted 2008 Odyssey from my wheelchair. Friday (yesterday) my "Check Tire Pressure" warning came on, and I drove to Rusty Wallis at a busy, crowded time. When Rich Starr heard why I'd come in, he waved me around the service lanes into the garage proper; I didn't need to get out of the van. The tire pressure was taken care of, and Rich guided me out and showed me how to get back to the street. This all took about 15 minutes -- all transacted in friendly, reassuring tones. A great relief and a great experience.

I made an appointment to get my new Honda fixed. The issue was described to the Rusty Wallis Service Center when I made the appointment. It took 4 hours for them to return my car. They never once offered to give me a rental. I'm at Rusty Wallis again with the same problem. They knew I was annoyed with them and still I'm here for 4 hours. They claimed to have a rental for me an hour ago and yet I'm still here.

The salesman Gerardo Garvalena friendly and helpful. The sales managers and finance managers are comical. Our family has bought 6 new cars from Rusty Wallace in 10 years so I'm very knowledgeable about this dealership. My advice is do your research on a vehicle online and go look at it on a Sunday when they're closed. My salesman promised one thing the sales manager promised another and the finance manager had his own guidelines. There is plenty of other dealerships in D-FW so my advice is to give them a try I know I will. So long to a loyal customer Rusty Wallace I'll take my loyalty to another dealer who will appreciate having a returning customer.

I don't believe 5 stars should be given to those who simply sale a car! I believe that 5 stars are given to those who build a relationship, an understanding of the customer, and then help the customer find the perfect car for all their wants and needs! Those stars are earned after you walk into a dealership with the expectation of being treated as just another number, but you're are actually treated as a person, and you know you'll leave having made the best decision for you. Before I went Rusty Wallis Honda I honestly had almost given up on car shopping. As a young woman walking into over 10 dealerships alone in the last 3 weeks I had never been taken serious, nor had I been treated with any level of respect! I had no idea how much that experience was about to change! Mr. Kevin Harper not only treated me the highest level of respect, but he also took so much time to show me what Honda had to offer, helped me understand what was most important, and helped me stay in a practical budget. He never rushed me to make a decision, nor pushed me to vehicle I didn't really like. The whole team treated me with such respect. Even the team lead took the time to come over to introduce himself, and make sure I was happy from beginning to end! The staff at this dealership was hands down the BEST, most professional, and helpful dealership I've ever experienced. I am so greatful for Mr. Harper along with the rest of the team. Since the day I pulled away from the dealership In my new car, I've told everyone I can possibly tell how amazing you guys truly are! My wife and I, went to Rusty Wallis where we met Eric collier, right away he was polite and fully engaged while dealing with us (big deal because we're young, and other places didnt seriously, Eric Collier did). While we were looking at vehicles Eric got is as many keys as we needed him to for as many cars we wanted to test drive, and no matter how indecisive we were he remained fully and completely patient and polite! Buying a car can be a stressful experience however when I went to Rusty Wallis Honda and was assisted by Eric Collier, the overall "car shopping" experience wasn't as bad as I thought. I drove from Shreveport Louisiana to purchase my vehicle in which i saw online at first and Eric Collier gave me a lot of confidence and reassurance that i was making the right decision with my vehicle. I didn't feel pressured at all about purchasing a vehicle from them. The staff was very friendly, patient and kind. I'm a single parent so I have to budget and Eric Collier made sure that the vehicle I purchased was in my price range. I drove a rental there so after my purchase, he followed me to Enterprise to turn In the rental vehicle. Prior to coming to Rusty Wallis I had been car shopping for a few months and I have never met a salesman that goes above and beyond like Eric Collier. While driving to Dallas with my two kids all I could think about and pray about was me coming back to Shreveport in my new car and thanks to Eric Collier he made it happen. Eric Collier is a blessing and a true asset to Rusty Wallis. He goes above and beyond. He is the true definition of customer service.

Everyone is very attentive. First time when I walked in just for a test drive and to get an estimate on my trade-in car they respected that and never tried to force me into making any decision. Offered me a fair deal when I went to actually buy a car. Helped me to get a good deal on financing my car as well. Explained me the process very well, especially pertaining to trade-in aspects. When searching for my 2013 Honda Accord, I did a little research and the positive reviews of Rusty Walls Honda brought me in. It was a wonderful experience in large part due to Brad Mills (sales consultant) who gave me no reason to shop around at other dealers. From the outset, Brad focused on my interests and needs while building trust with dialogue, stories and humor. We got through the negotiation process with both parties feeling comfortable. While working out the financing/warranty issues we hit a snag, but Brad was right there to smooth things over and get me in my ride. Love the car and would definitely return to Brad and Rusty Wallis.

I was looking for a used car initally and Brad did a fantastic job by sending me a selfie video with the used car i tagged on the rusty wallis website. I was in double mind in buying a new car or used car. I saw Brad at the used car section and he ran over a quick comparison for me depending on my needs. Due to my limited term drivers license, Syed suggested to opt for a credit union for seeking financing. This turned out to be a good suggestion. I did my research online first and had already narrowed down my choices when I contacted Rusty Wallis Honda. The vehicle was represented well (2014 Subaru Forester Limited) including a "Good"rating from carguru.com and also a good dealer rating from both carguru and cars.com. I contacted the dealership and was put in touch with "Mannie". He responded immediately and after some thought and scheduled arrangement we set up a time to look at the vehicle. Mannie had something come up but connected me with "Alan". When we got to the dealership, Alan was busy with a walk in customer but got us immediate help:"Jeff". Sounds like we were passed around but that would be the wrong conclusion. The folks were there ready to help us and not at all pushy. Great overall experience with no hassles!

I knew exactly what car I was interested in and called ahead of time. When I got to the dealership, the car was all lit and waiting for my inspection and approval. Test drive was done and then paperwork (with Ryan, also very fast and efficient) completed. I had an idea of what I was willing to pay and will say they met me pretty close. The deal was closed without high pressure financing tactics. I was very pleased. Bradley White seems to be a very honest and genuine salesperson. I had been looking to upgrade my car, I didn't need a new one, but I wanted a new one. I had thought about switching from my Honda to a Hyundai. I had gone to a Hyundai dealership and had a horrible experience, and got discouraged about getting a new car. I had seen a HR-V when I had brought my Accord in for service, and after that I started looking at them online. When there was one in stock with everything that I wanted, I went up to the dealership and Felton helped me. At first it looked like I may walk out without a new car, but we were able to get everything worked out, and I got the car that I really wanted. I've now bought 3 cars from Rusty Wallis Honda, and have yet to be disappointed.

Just last week I bought my first ever brand new car (I've always bought used). I've been putting off the purchase for months as other dealerships treated me poorly and tried to "dumb me down" (Sorry sir, I do understand financing and interest rates). When I found the exact car I wanted at Rusty Wallis, I was nervous to have to go back to another dealership and deal with the haggling. I couldn't have been further off from the truth. As usual the buying experience at Rusty Wallis was very good. I always work with John Hargis when buying a car, and this was my third car from Rusty Wallis. Mr. Hargis works to get me a good deal and understands that I will not sit there all day to buy a car. Very good service. My finance guy was John Haddock which I can say was the BEST experience I have ever had with any finance office. He was very polite and fast. It is very difficult to find a good team and obviously John Hargis and John Haddock work well together to satisfy their customers. I recently purchased my third Honda from Rusty Wallis and my second from Brad White. Brad is patient, honest and a generally nice guy. I didn't feel pressured at all and he took the time to find the car I wanted (which changed a couple of times).If he isn't employee of the year I would be extremely surprised. I purchased a 2013 Accord Coupe V6. Its fun to drive and has lots of power. Although it been my experience that Hondas are extremely reliable, I purchased an extended bumper to bumper warranty that gives me piece of mind for 85mths or 100k miles from the time of my purchase for a reasonable cost. I went to buy a used car one day and planned to trade in my current car. I told them what I owed which was about half of its reasonable value.They gave me an offer for my car which was less than what I owed. And, their offer for my car was several thousand less than other offers I received for it.The sales guy was decent, FYI.However, the finance guys know every penny of every deal so I believe this was a purposeful attempt to give me what would be a very bad deal.I walked out and bought a similar car at another dealer. In that deal, a reasonable offer was given for my car and the deal went very smoothly.

I have purchased many cars in my lifetime, and have dealt with dozens of car dealers. I have to say that this was the quickest, easiest, car buying experience I have ever had. Even with a few credit issues, I was in and out, with the keys in my hand, in only a couple of hours. While I know that others were involved (i.e. Finance), I know that the majority of the credit goes to my Sales Consultant, Kevin Harper. From the start I told him what I wanted, and where my payments needed to be. He told me that he would explain my situation to Finance and get my deal done, and that is what he did. Because of my experiences with other dealers, I kept waiting for the hammer to fall and the rate and payments to go up, but that never happened. This was my first time taking my 2011 Accord in for service, I had just hit 100k miles and wanted a full tune up and inspection. They did the tune up at a fair price, replaced fluids, brake job, alignment, rotated tires, and even washed it for free. Usually you walk into a car dealer expecting to be overwhelmed by pushy sales people who only have one goal and that is to "make money." Now, I am not saying that making money is a "bad thing" but it usually supersedes the wishes and desires of the customer. It means the sales person's agenda is primary and foremost, not yours. I wanted to try leasing a car for the first time and I was rather nervous. I had a budget I wanted to stick to and I had a small down payment. I had been warned about the "pitfalls" of leasing, so I was a bit wary. Rusty Wallis not only met my desired payments but were very gracious and kind in doing so. I had a positive experience starting with sales person, Christian and ended up speaking with a very capable and positive Sales Manager, Ken and finalized the lease with the hardworking and diligent business manager, Joshua I would and have recommended Rusty Wallis to all family and friends! He did not leave us till all the transactions were finished. I saw the meaning of brotherhood between them. I want to mention Rae Cook and Syed Abidi (manager) for helping me get my leather seats installed. They gave me a temporary car I can drive around while they were installing my leather. Bernard Williams is a dynamic used car salesman. I've purchased 3 NEW cars. Felton Jones has tough negotiating skills but prefers a happy customer.This is my 4th purchase from Rusty Wallis (3rd new car purchase from used car salesman, Bernard Williams). I called ahead to let Bernard know I was looking for another vehicle. Upon my arrival, he had already researched and located a 2015 version of my previous car (2010 Accord EX-L V-6. Manual transmission). Unfortunately it was the only one in Texas and the price was not negotiable which is that dealership's loss. Being the professional that Bernard is, he also had a few Accords waiting for me to test drive. Once I made my selection, I was introduced to another fantastic salesman, Fellton Jones. He is a charming man with some tough negation tactics. We went back and forth with the price until we agreed on a number that I liked. He was even kind enough to give me a snack and a bottle of water from his personal stash. Hospitality speaks volumes about one's personality. Buying a new car is scary, but Jim Beeson made it almost pleasurable. He was very knowledgeable, pretty honest, detailed and available for after-shock questions. The service division listed a promise time of 1 hour for an oil change. It was finished in 2 hours when the advisor recommended a wheel alignment which he estimated would take 35 minutes. It took an hour and 20 minutes I might suggest that Rusty Wallis have a maintenance division like Sports City Toyota which turns around an oil change in 20 minutes. I was not very happy to say the least with the service and hope corrective measures will be taken. My e-mail is incorrect on the invoice so I will not get the performance evaluation survey. The front desk sent be back to the service div to have it corrected. I did not want to deal with them at this time.

We bought a 2015 Accord EX-L V6 from Rusty Wallis Honda yesterday. I can't overstate what a pleasure it was to work with this dealership, starting with Alan Stowers in the internet dept who was professional, respectful, honest, forthright, and exerted zero pressure or slimy sales tactics and kept his word throughout as if he didn't know there's any other way to be. Xavier Maldonado was the same way when he helped us complete the transaction and take delivery of the car. John Haddock in the finance department was equally courteous, professional and easy to work with, reflecting the opposite of the stereotypical finance guy who plays the role of the "heavy" at the end of the transaction. I kept waiting for the conflict to start and to have to fight for the OTD price we agreed to in our email exchanges, but it never came. What a breath of fresh air dealing with Rusty Wallis Honda!

I visited this location on 6/15/15. I was immediately shown cars that were in my "range" as far as price. I was given keys to test drive etc. After about 6 hours of debating on the car I liked, I made a decision,then I was given a reason on why that wouldn't be possible so I was steered in another direction where another decision was made and paperwork was drawn up for. I was told the car would be delivered to me the next day after I obtained full coverage insurance.The next day I'm texting the car salesman I was dealing with asking specific questions about the car and the status and I recieve little to no response....then he calls me saying no banks would approve me without $3000 down. Now this is bazaar because the day before they offered me a deal with 0 money down and this and that. I wasted so much time dealing with this place and it has turned out to be my worst experience to date. Words can't describe how dissatisfied I am with the experience and the protocol.

I came in for a simple oil change and was told that, unfortunately, I was looking at a wait time of 1 hr, 30 min to 1 hr , 45 min. Waiting room and all outdoor seating were filled to capacity. Oil needed done, so I felt I'd just have to hang in there. I was pleasantly surprised an hour later when the service manager, Robert Wright, came and told me my car was ready. He made a point to tell me that we'd been valued customers over the years and how much they appreciated that. I usually dread walking into car dealerships for an entire day of 'Lets Make A Deal'. However, Cody was able to start the paperwork on-line to help my experience move more smooth. The used car sales team is a great asset when comparing cars in the market. I showed them a listing for a comparable vehicle at another dealer and they researched that specific vehicle and revealed damage records that even car fax didn't show. They also did a price comparison search for my area and provided both of the reports to me. When I asked the second dealer about the damage report they didn't call me back which validated what was found. These guys were patient, honest and got me in a great pre-owned car. I highly recommend them.

I bought my last two Hondas at another local dealership. When I went there a month ago for a warranty issue, I was disappointed in the service. So I thought I'd try this one. The difference was like night and day! Every single person I talked with--from the Asst. Service guy (can't remember your name, but you were awesome!), to Tony, to the shuttle driver, to the two ladies at the Cashier desk (who couldn't find the ticket, but never got flustered and tried about 6 different ways to get what I needed,) to the young man who retrieved my car--every single person was TRULY OUTSTANDING. Seriously, this was THE BEST service experience I have ever had (and I'm old :).I will be giving this car to my daughter and buying a new one, probably within the year. Sorry other dealership. You just lost a customer. I'll be back to Rusty Wallis. Thanks again.

My wife and I spent a week looking for a new car, and Rusty Wallis provided by far the best experience. We worked with Alan Stowers, Internet Manager. He has exactly the right approach. He is friendly and witty and actually makes your time with him fun as well as productive. If any sort of problem arises, he manages to get it resolved quickly and fairly. He has the unusual ability to get to know and understand very quickly your needs and preferences in a new car. He found the perfect car for us. The administrative staff we dealt with after we had chosen our car -- Fred, Paul and John -- were all low key and straight forward. They think Rusty Wallis is the best, and so do we.
