Wynn demonstrates true professionalism and has a very keen sense on how to treat customers. Wynn has the right customer service skill set to be a very good salesman. The dealership however needs to be a bit more aware of customers time and work on getting customers out much quicker than four hours. Except for the time frame, Wynn was the bright spot.

I had no intention of getting a Hyundai and was just humoring my husband by visiting our local Hyundai dealer. He liked the idea of the lengthy warranty after the extensive repair work we had to do on our Outback, but I still loved my Subaru and didn't plan to switch. However, between the cordial and attentive service, the convincing test drive, and the willingness to work with me on a financial plan, I'm thrilled to be driving a brand new 2017 Elantra. The bells and whistles in this little car are astounding! So I'm loving this dealership and my husband for suggesting that we visit it.

Went to buy a car at this dealership because of online add for a $500 amex card if i purchased a car the dealership did everything not to honor thier own advertisement. I also felt that the salesman do alot of double talk to confuse you.

This is my 2nd purchase from Rockland. They are extremely professional and extremely courteous. I was even offered pizza during the transaction. The car gods must have heard my stomach growling. Anyway, I traded in my Altima, and was able to pick up the Hyundai Sonata, or what i like to call it, "The Mean machine". The car is phenomenal, and I'm looking forward to stepping up in the next few years. I will definitely be back. Mikal, Jeff, and Rob are all about the customer, but at the same time about their business. Go in there with no worries, they will find you a great car for a great price. Good luck to all. I was purchasing a part for a vehicle and was told the that the part was not in stock. They said it would take 3 to 4 days to deliver but if I wanted it earlier it would cost an extra 25 dollars. I paid cash for the extra delivery cost and the ridiculous cost of the part. It still took 3 days to deliver, I couldn't use the part anymore so I returned the part. They said I had to wait for the manager to cut me a check for the refund. Got the refund for only the extra delivery and I'm still waiting for the rest of my money. If I paid cash for the transaction I should receive cash back for refund. I will never do business with this company ever again nor will refer them to anyone I know.

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised with the hassle-free leasing experience at Rockland Hyundai. We had the pleasure of working with Steph Saintel. His approach impressed us and immediately put us at ease. He was knowledgeable with regards to the features that each car offered. When it was time to talk dollars and cents we spoke to the sales manager Fausto Gonzalez and in literally 10 minutes we agreed on a price and were very satisfied with the vehicle and the monthly payments fit our budget. I highly recommend this dealership and these salespeople.

They quoted 240 a month. Waited for hours. I (the father) left. She just got home and it is now 315 a month. Watch out for these guys.... they knew her payment would be more, but they waited until just before closing to give her the news. She was there without a car and I have no cellphone.... and the salesman knew it.

This dealership is literally the best there is out there! I have been to quite a few dealerships throughout my car shopping history and none have ever helped and treated me the way the sales representatives did at this location. I received a phone call from them after doing some research online about trading in my old, broken down gmc envoy. After literally 10 minutes of contemplating whether or not I would make the trip, I decided I would give it a try and just get some more information about the steps I would need to take in order to trade my truck in. Little did I know, I would be coming on that very night with a new car. The employees were patient, understanding and sooo kind to me considering my situation. I've been looking for a car to purchase for quite some time when I had asked a friend where he had gotten his car from. He then told me about, Rockland Hyundai. A little anxious, I then met the sales representative Mr. Wynn Adams. When greeted we clicked instantly as he is very knowledgeable about the cars that are there and when I told him as to what type of car I was looking for. He quickly began to search for the car that would fit the description I had explain to him. This did take a 2 day process as he did reach out to me to inform me that he had a few cars in mind. That I would be able to take a look and see if i could narrow down to the 1 car I wanted. Impressed with the suggested cars, he then gave me information on the Pros/Con of each, the years, and models. Upon this information I then made the choice of getting My Hyundai Sonata Sport. I am pleased with my purchase and I normally don't write reviews because I find them pointless at times, But in this event if my words can be heard. Today i went in this dealership feeling nervous, but was quickly greeted with a warm welcoming and smiling dealer by the name of Wynn. Wynn sat down with me to discuss all of my wants and needs in a new car. He was very patient and i never felt pressured. After looking over many car. I decided to test drive a 2017 Hyundai Elantra. Wynn also introduced me to Fausto who explained the details, the warranty and made the transition from my old car to a new one pleasant one. I would recommend buy all cars from this dealership. I wouldve never seen myself writing a review on anything.. other than the fact that i am lazy, i am never that pleased with any customer service i receive by rockland. I had been dying to upgrade my trashy car, and finally when i stepped in to this dealer the expirience was outstanding i received an abundant amount of information about the car i was purchasing, and the sales employee had such a pleasing vibe while he translated his knowledge of the car and its pros/cons at the sametime along with his supervisor who assisted me as if it was his own daughter purchasing the car! The both of them are a dynamic duo. If i ever deciede to up to another car i would definitely re-visit this dealer!!

Entering Rockland Hyundai I was a Lil nervous...I was greeted by a warm welcoming hand shake and a smile that changed everything My life I was completely satisfied with purchase experience with Wynn. He did everything he could to make sure i was not only happy with my choice but that it was exactly what I wanted. Never at any point did i feel pressured to buy. In fact it was quite the opposite. He was very patient with me, especially on a Friday night as they were closing up for the night. Since it was after closing on Friday and finance had gone home for the day, wynn and Fausto worked with my schedule to be there first thing in the morning so we could complete the sale. This dealer is not the greatest, very slow paced and unknowledgeable staff, It took me close to 30 mins sitting at a desk to even get a price back for the car I was interested in and they came back to me with the complete opposite of what I asked for. I was promised a $50 gift card for test driving my new vehicle and never received it. The finance employee was one of the most rude people I have ever experienced at a car dealership after i refused to buy the extended warranties on my vehicle he just had the worst attitude for the rest of the process slamming papers on his desk and being pushy and aggressive about reconsidering the warranties. As for the salesperson, Wynn, I did like him and he was very friendly and professional he is the only reason i would ever consider coming back to this dealership.

1.0 star rating 10/22/2016I went looking for an Elantra with a friend. Both the salesman and the sales manager were not honest with what they told us. We were quoted a price.I told them my friend would be paying cash for the car and asked them exactly what other costs would be added on to the price they gave us. When we returned after deciding the price the gave us was a good deal they started adding on other fees including "a small fee" (about $700) because he was not financing any cost of the car. They called back the next day saying they felt bad about what transpired and that they would give us the car for the cost they originally quoted. After asking more questions I found there were still other very significant fees that they were adding on making it not a good deal anymore. I understand that buying a car is a negotiation. But these people just downright lied to us on more than one occasion. Unless you absolutely must buy a car in Rockland and cannot buy in New Jersey or Westchester I suggest you avoid this dealership.

I came in having decided that the Hyundai Accent was the right car for me. Juan Cabreja was very welcoming and friendly, taking a personal interest in me. I wanted a good deal and had shopped around. Juan understood and cut to the chase with a great deal right off the bat, far better than other dealers, and did not waste my time with bickering. He took the time to locate the exact car that I wanted and kept in touch throughout the process. He arranged for delivery at a time convenient to me, even though he was not scheduled to be in the dealership and has followed-up several times since to verify I was satisfied with the car and experience.And Joan, identified a rebate we had not been aware of at the time of document signing that was favorable to me and made the agreed-upon deal even more attractive. There was no pressure for add-ons and no other surprises.I have been buying new cars for 40 years and this was by far the most enjoyable purchase experience. I recommend Rockland Hyundai, and specifically Juan Cabreja, highly.

My family and I drove an hour to get to Rockland Hyundai to look at specific used vehicle. Upon arrival, Chris explained to us that the car had recently been in an accident. This being my first car I was very disappointed. But Chris was very helpful in trying to find another car to suit my needs. I test drove a car he recommended and I immediately fell in love with it. As a full time college student working a job part time, Chris provided me with a reasonable price and a good payment plan. On top of that, Kal, the sales manager provided me with the best experience possible and did what he could to help me out. I would definitely give Chris and Kal my business in the future and will give them recommend them to others.

I went to exchange my Genesis tonight as I was close to the end of the lease (mileage). My youngest daughter will be attending college next year and I am consolidating cost. Roger G was my sales representative. Roger was very patient and attentive through the entire process, he allowed me to look at and test drive several cars until we found a good match for my needs and my budget. Mikal S.was good at checking in on us and assisting with information regarding the new vehicle pricing. Best of all was Tristan the manager. Two years ago I leased my Genesis and an Elantra, I met him shortly after that purchase. Consistently Tristan G. has exemplified customer service and what it means he truly puts the customer first in all aspects. He is flexible understanding and truly does what needs to be done to get the deal closed. We had an unexpected hiccup in the deal and Tristan stepped in and was able to manage the issue and save the deal. Roger was then kind enough to assist with managing the exchange of the vehicles and then extended his assistance with follow up with the final touches for the purchase. I have been a customer of Hyundai and have driven the Excel, Elantra, Sonata and Genesis. My daughter currently has an Elantra and my mom has an Elantra. Over the years we have driven and owned at least 10 Hyundai's. I would recommend these salesmen and the dealership to anyone who is looking for a new or to lease a vehicle.

I recently visited and subsequently leased a 2017 Hyundai Elantra at this dealership. I was very pleasantly surprised to find the sales person as well as the sales manager at the dealership to be extremely helpful and accomodating. My salesman, Wynn Adams, answered all of my questions and addressed my concerns. I left feeling that my car dealership experience was a positive one. On previous occasions when I had looked into leasing at other dealerships, I left feeling totally turned off by the process, due to the employees I encountered at those dealerships. Kudos to the Rockland Hyundai dealership and particularly to Wynn Adams for making my visit there worthwhile.

I came from out of town to Rockland Hyundai after speaking to Roger Garcia on the phone. He told me he had the vehicle I wanted, and they did. Shamma was very helpful with answering any questions I had regarding purchasing a used vechicle within the budget that I was working with. She showed me my options online , I looked at the vechicles on the lot, test drove showed me what I asked for. She also made suggestions like leasing etc. which I would get me into a new vechicle I really want with the certification On the vecle etc, I thought about it overnight which she suggested too, so I was sure. I decided to lease a hyundai tuscon she showed me the newer models with the differant options and I made my decision , the negotions with the lease where resonable and I was happy with the experience. The Finance person Yocarys was very nice and thorough in explaining everytinfg regarding the leases financial agreement so I understood it all. I would say all in all I was very satified with the services at the dealership.

Terrible experience here. Salesman, Javier Cano, kept going back to the finance manager but when I go in to see her she knows nothing of what him and I talk about. I spend about 90 min with him, we come to an agreement and then I go in to see her and she "needs" double the amount down then Javier and I agreed to!! When I politely decline the deal and try to leave, they do not let me. Now the floor manager and the finance girl and Javier are all trying to stop me!! They wouldn't give me my paperwork, telling me it's the dealers property. I'm not making the deal, I'm walking away. I took all my paperwork, after all it has all my personal information and my signatures on them! Then I find out they had already tranferred my Sirius XM radio to the new car. I had to open a new account with Sirius and pay over $100 for this! And no one at the dealership knows how this happened. Sirius had the complete VIN number for the new car with all my personal information and I sure as xxxx didn't give it to them!! They won't reimburse my money. Very very sneaky people here. Lots of reviews on Yelp about how prices had gone up on deals with other people.

Bait and switch. Come in for $2994 minivan, they say it is $6,100 with "fees" and tax. Took over 2 hours to negotiate down to $3,900 with fees and tax. Very unpleasant experience and lacking integrity. The next day, after leaving a deposit, and saying I'd get a bank check for the balance, they called every 2 hours sniffing around for money and finish the deal as fast as they can.Day I came in with the balance, waited for the salesman almost an hour to show up to work when another finished the deal.On the way home, then vehicle starts to vibrate like mad. Upon inspection of tires, one tire is plugged in the sidewall! This is very dangerous. You technically can't pass with a plug in the shoulder, the outer tread, let alone the sidewall. Trying to get a hold of the sales rep for 3 days has been a joke. When I finally got a hold of him, very dodgy and continued non-response over a $50 tire they screwed me over! Can't wait to discover what other hidden disasters are waiting for me...If you want to deal with someone lacking in integrity and honesty, Rockland Hyundai is the one for you!

I have given this dealership and it's two employees an excellent rating because they made me feel very comfortable during my first car purchase. I would rate this dealership #1-2 out of 5 dealerships I experienced. The financing process was straightforward, easy, and no pressure with Joan Rivas. When I got back with my new car, I noticed a scratch in the rear bumper and called Mikal immediately. I guess it was what happened during the car prep at the dealership, which I did not notice when I pick up. Not a pleasant thing but they are willing to take responsibility, which makes me happy. Came in to buy a new car, in part due to incentives being offered by Hyundai USA. Was told that they had none in stock, then told that there might be a "demo" available. Was told that demo counts as new in terms of getting the incentives. Was given a price that included the incentives, and the price was pretty close to what I was looking for. But the car I was shown turned out to be used, with several hundred miles on it. So the "yes, you're getting the factory incentives" line was BS. And while they got close to the price I wanted, they were actually selling me a used car (vs. new) without being totally transparent. They fudged the "demo" vs. "used." Plus lots of having the sales guy check with the manager, dragging out the length of the visit. Icky.

Leased a new Sonata from them and turned in my old one. They agreed in writing to pay the wear and tear, excess mileage and last month's payment on the returned car. They only paid part of it to Hyundai Motor Finance and left me with a $650 bill. HMFC doesnt care that the dealer agreed to pay.I spoke in person twice to the Sales Manager, Fausto Gonzalez who told me it was being processed by the lease return department ..which is clearly not true because they already paid part of the bill.Fausto does not return my emails or phone calls..It has now been 3 1/2 months since I returned the car ..my only option now is to sue the dealership for the money. They obviously are hoping i will just give up. I told them I am an attorney and doesnt faze them.I have never owed HMFC a dime and I am a repeat Hyundai customer and this is how they are treating me!

I wanted to write a blurb regarding my experience in purchasing my 2017 Elantra from you. I searched the internet for the best deal which had the options I wanted. When I found the vehicle, I came into look at it and your employee Roger Garcia showed me the vehicle and answered any questions I had. I felt very comfortable and completely relaxed. When I test drove the car with him, it was effortless and hassle free. He made the entire experience of purchasing my Elantra, along with trading in my car, effortless. I felt no car sales pressure which I completely despise. Being a woman, I felt completely satisfied and elated the way he treated me with the utmost respect. I was impressed with the honesty, integrity, and straightforward approach to selling a car. As you remember, I almost bought the car once before the month prior, but I changed my mind and decided to do some more looking. As I looked around, I found that many of the dealers just didnt meet my personal standard of integrity, not to mention the wide variety of selections of cars in your inventory. I kept thinking about the wonderful experience I had with you and your managers, Fausto & Tristan. They treated me like a ROCK STAR and made me laugh. I came back a month after and we made the deal. I have since put about 1500 hundred on my car and everything is great!!!!! This is my second Elantra after taking a break from my first one which I purchased in 2005. We have been dealing with this dealership for several years now after their service staff saved us by being the only local dealership that could fix our Hyundai Entourage. We just purchased a 2017 Santa Fe. We got a very fair deal and Juan Cabreja, the sales person, was incredibly helpful and professional. The process took several weeks as we were unsure if we wanted a 2016 or 2017. Juan kept in touch and kept us informed, but was never pushy. When we finally purchased the vehicle he spent a significant amount of time explaining the car's features and making sure we understood everything.I can't speak for the other sales people but Juan was great and I would highly recommend him to others in the market for a new Hyundai.

After deciding on a Hyndai Santa Fe or Tucson we descended on Rockland Hyundai. It was a very busy day and Juan Cabreja made sure we were not left standing around. He told us he would be about 15 minutes and was true to his word. He answered all our questions, educated us about Hyundai and the vehicles we were interested in. We left very confident we found the right sales rep and right vehicle. Returning in a week to test drive the Santa Fe and Tucson was just as enjoyable. Juan set us up with 2 vehicles and we were off. We brought another couple also interested in the Santa Fe. Returning to the dealership both couples decided on the Santa Fe. Grilling Juan for another hour we left knowing the next time we walked in we would drive out with our new vehicle. Juan had to locate a 2016 for us, and he did so within a week finding the exact vehicle we wanted... We just drove out of the showroom with our shiny new 2016 Santa Fe Sport AWD.

My only concern was that there were some nicks on the front of my brand new car (Sonata Sport) and there were over 300 miles on the new Hyundai as well. When asking about the nicks I was given touch up paint and told to see if that would help with the nicks. Normally a brand new car should be immaculate and have very little mileage. This was noticed after I signed all my papers. Though my salesman was very good the mileage was not really discussed at all and I did not notice the nicks as the car was in the showroom with little room to inspect.

It was fairly quick and painless and most of all they were very professional and genuine,There were three people in particular that made my experience so memorable:Robert Battle, Tristan George and Johan Rivas. I will be very fair with this review. First, I would recommend that you take a digital photo of anything written down on paper, because if it not written, it will likely change in the end. Even if it is written, you will see the numbers change when they go onto the typed sheet. The initial sales environment was fairly positive and expected. I have previously purchased 7 new Hyundai's in the past (from Liberty Hyundai and Paramus Hyundai). I decided this time to purchase a used car, so dealership (supposedly) was not as important as the price. As many have stated on these reviews, Rockland's internet prices are typically very good, so many are enticed in at least going to take a look.So, to make this review short and to the point, Rockland Hyundai absolutelty WILL make up the profit on the stated or quoted price by inflating the prep/dealer fees to whatever they need to to hit the profit percentage margin. These fees are negotiable, even though they may try to tell you that they are not. If you cant get them down to 200 or 250, walk out. But, if you do get them down, watch your sales/finance details very closely. On my paperwork, they took the registration/title deposit and kept unused deposit. The sad aspect is they asked for $400 dollar deposit (which I thought was outrageous) for this and the total cost for the registration and title came out to $65.50.So, if you are extremely detailed and want to take a change that you will catch the little changes, you could get a decent deal at this dealership. But, if you do not want the headache, go someone else

It was time for a change of vehicle in my life, and let's just say I am not too great with major changes or purchases like this, since I was still driving my 2005 Mitsubishi Outlander (although it has a lot of life left). I wanted a Range Rover and had spoken to Tristian, the General Sales Manger, a few times on the phone about my budget and price range and he said, "no worries I'll get you in the car you want and deserve", I didn't know whether or not to believe or trust him, but he gained my trust and my friendship. I am not the easiest person to deal with (only admitting this online) yet he was so patient, flexible, supportive and encouraging throughout the entire process. Him and his amazing team were extremely attentive to my needs and even my headache. Tristian called me as soon as he got his hands on a Range Rover he knew I would love. We then scheduled a time for me to go to Rockland Hyundai for a test drive and that's when I met with a wonderful, empathetic, experienced and knowledgeable sales representative named Javier. Who ran all my paperwork and gave me some suggestions to deal with my insurance. He also kept me up to date with the entire process and I finally decided to come back and make my purchase. Then, I met Joan (pronounced Johan), the finance manager, who noticed I had a headache and brought be an Advil and a water and not to mention, had the patience to deal with me for almost 4hrs of negotiations and walking me through the entire financial aspect of this purchase until I was clear about each step.Finally, I had the car of my dreams and I was like, I can't even drive it back because I was alone at the dealership and Tristian told me not to worry and to leave my Mitsubishi at Rockland Hyundai until we figured something out (my friend came with me the next day to get it). I cannot put into words how grateful I am to have met each of these individuals who made me feel at ease throughout an experience that can be overwhelming at times, especially for a female. I am beyond satisfied with their customer service and would definitely highly recommend Rockland Hyundai dealership if you're interested in purchasing a new or preowned vehicle that suits your needs and budget. Thanks again for just keeping it real and professional.

I have to say that I dealt with a very supportive team and cannot complain. I originally wanted a 2016 make that would be good for me overall. Something small that doesn't guzzle gas like water, affordable, and reliable in fair weather conditions (in handling snowy roads- ice is another story for another day).In shopping around, I originally sought the Accent since I know that I would be the main driver/ person in the car. A bigger vehicle would defeat the purpose at this time. I have relatives who own and drive Hyundai's, and I enjoy being in their cars. I've seen commercials about leasing the Elantra, but I was really determined on getting the Accent,. I would like to thank Javier for the test drive. I really enjoyed it, and love the blue exterior (still do). I did spend time reflecting on the car and did some research. I was really sold on the Accent. The Elantra looked good, but I was looking at the Accent mainly for affordability. Prior to the time of purchase, and while shopping around, at Rockland Hyundai I have to say that Mikal is, and was very supportive in seeking the best deal for a better vehicle for me. He made sure that I left with a vehicle that would better suit my needs, and still manage to meet my expectations. Today, I drive a 2016 Hyundai Elantra, and love it!!!!!!!!!!I love the color (blue and cannot go wrong), the full tank of gas (thank you all so very much) and the overall quality of the car. I would also like to thank Joan as well for all the work that he has done, especially when working with me and both of my parents and for choosing a financial package for me that included important elements such as key replacement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I walked into this dealership expecting to get a used car that was listed on their site. When I got there, the associate (Gervais) walked us through the lot on a cold day only not to find the car. Then he had us drive to a different location a few minutes away to find the car instead of looking in the database himself. We got there and there was no car. We returned to the dealership and he decided finally to ask his manager. We waited, and at this point had been at this location about an hour and a half. Normally, we probably should have left at this point, but my son and I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, we were way too lenient with them and they pretty much pushed a new car on us. We figured the value of the new car would be good enough to be worth it, especially since the associate told us we'd be able to receive 0-0.9% APR on the car. Of course, after we already paid the down payment and proceeded to go to the financier, she gave us a rate of 5%. Only after we made her check again did we get a rate of 3.99%. At this point, we had invested so much time at this dealer that we just went through with the sale. Money is just money, honestly, but having integrity is huge. I will never come to this dealership again.

INCOMPETENCE AT ITS BEST!! Dishonest dealings & poor communication all around. Advertised a car at a low price and tacked on a ridiculous $1525+ dealer prep fee (in addition to title & tags) to get vehicle ready for delivery, and then wouldn't stand behind salesman's words about warranty. Coincidentally, salesman no longer works there. Wonder why? WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP TO ANYONE!***RESPONSE ADDED ON 1/22/2016*** - Seriously, your patent response at this point is pathetic. How about refunding the $1500 fee which your salesman didn't honestly earn, or at the very least the $800 out of pocket costs we incurred to repair the vehicle's safety issues (broken axles, ball joints, etc.)which were also not disclosed. How this vehicle passed inspection is a wonder to us all, because it should not have been on the road, safety-wise.Customers beware of these scammers!!
