After 14 years it was time to replace the family truck.I've never looked forward to the car buying process as it's usually just a big PITA.We looked all afternoon and decided to make Roberts our last stop before the long drive home.Fran and Marcus made this whole process exceptional employing their reserved approach in dealing with their potential customers.This experience seemed to be one of yesteryear when a handshake was as good as signing on the dotted line.I would recommend this staff and dealership to anyone that is searching for a vehicle.There is no flash like other dealers with the free wifi and cheesy salespeople....Bottom line, I left their dealership feeling I got a quality vehicle for the money I spent and received fair trade for my old truck.Thanks again!

I was shopping around for a certain pick-up truck and I found what I wanted here at Robert's Dodge. The sales rep that helped me out was Josh Gregoire. He treated my wife and I with total respect and he was very polite. I like the way Josh didn't push the sale or haggle with us. We told him what we wanted and he helped us in every way. I must say it was one of the smoothest transitions I've ever had in a car dealership. I would definitely recommend this dealership to others.

I recently purchased a vehicle from Roberts Chrysler Dealership with Josh Gregoire as my sales representative. I have owned many vehicles and usually go through the same experience, haggling over price back and forth, trying to simply get floor mats, and after the sale never hearing from my sales representative. Not only did I get the price I asked for the first time but Josh Gregoire was in touch with me even weeks after my sale to ensure satisfaction with my purchase. Everyone at that facility maintained a very professional attitude and appearance. I would not only purchase from them again, but highly recommend anyone to do so as well.

If you are looking for a new or used vehicle, you should consider talking with Josh Gregoire at Roberts Dodge before any other dealer. Josh was quick to respond to all our emails and questions. He told us he was going to give us "AN AWESOME DEAL" and he delivered just that on the new 2016 Ram we purchased. We leased a new Durango last week and had a great experience. My husband and I have purchased/leased many vehicles over the years and had one of the easiest experiences at Roberts Chrysler Dodge. Josh answered all of my questions and gave us lease numbers before we even went to the dealership. Once at the dealership they assessed our trade in value and the numbers they had given us did not change. We were in and out of the dealership in record time. There were no high pressure sales tactics, everything was upfront and honest. We would definitely recommend Roberts to others.

I purchased a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee 13 years ago from Roberts. In 13 years there were the regular preventative maintenance repairs. I discover 4 months ago that there was a small crack in the head of the motor. With only 118k on this car (which is cosmetically in great shape) I decided to have the motor replaced with a rebuilt from Chrysler and having Roberts do the work. This was scheduled through Michael and the work done by Tom. The workmanship was great, clean, and on time! I have found that Roberts has stood by their commitment to quality. The girl behind the counter had the worst customer service skills I have ever encountered at a dealership. I walked in and patiently waited for her to finish a conversation with a mechanic. When she was done I approached and requested the service I was looking for. She looked at me like she had something stuck in her teethe, and waited a good five seconds before telling me there would be a small wait. Her demeanor was quite off putting and her tone of voice clearly conveyed her annoyance at being bothered. No complaints about the service otherwise, but I was only there for emmissions. I did have to wait about 20 mins when I was told it would be 10, but that's really not an issue as I don't mind waiting. Have been thinking about getting a new car, her attitude has definitely ruled out their dealership for me. I won't give my business to a company that will support that kind of customer service.

In June 2014, I received an Emissions notice from the State of Connecticut that my 04 Durango needed to be tested. My check engine light was on so I called Roberts Dodge in Meriden and make an appointment to drop off my vehicle. I also mention to the Service manager that there is something wrong with some of the gauges and lights. He tells me that they will look at it while its there. I get a call from Joe the Service Manager that it has a bunch of codes stored in its computer and that it needed a Junction box because it showed signs of corrosion on the wiring. I authorized the repair and they ordered the part. A few days go by and they call me and tell me its all set. I pick it up and a mile down the road the check engine light comes back on. It goes right back to them and gets left there. They call me and tell me its and O2 sensor. They replace it and tell me its all set again. So I pick it up and a mile down the road the gauges are still malfunctioning. I leave it with them again and a week or two goes by and they call me to tell me that it needs a Body Control Module. I asked them if they were sure and they assured me that it would fix the problem. I was leaving for vacation on July 26th and needed the vehicle and I authorized the repair to replace the module. It wasnt ready and I had to borrow a vehicle to go on vacation. When I returned, I called Roberts Dodge to find out the status of my vehicle and they said it was ready to be picked up. (That repair cost me $1100). I picked it up and my Durango was still having the same problem. I have been very patient up until this point and when I called the Service Manager, he told me that they didnt have an answer on how to fix it. Now he wanted me to invest in a wiring harness and could not guarantee that that would fix the problem. I told him that I was done spending money on it and I already paid them twice to fix it after they diagnosed the issue. I asked for some compensation back or just fix the vehicle because they had my vehicle for 2 months and they misdiagnosed it. I was told that they could do nothing for me and I was out the $1700 that I paid them. I called the general manager Shane and instead of listening to my concern and frustration, he just told me the same thing that his Service manager told me that I was out the money. He was rude and told me that he was going to charge me 13 extra hours that they had invested in the vehicle and I was going to get billed for that. I picked up my Durango and I promise that I will never go back to Roberts Dodge. But that doesnt solve the issue that I paid them to diagnose it twice and now I am out the money for parts that didnt need to be replaced. They are not willing to work with me in any way and it is not easy in this economy to throw away $1700 on unnecessary repairs. I thought I was dealing with a reputable dealership but based on the online reviews posted on the internet, I was wrong, all of the reviews are bad

Robert's is about a two hour drive each way from me, but I still went to look at and buy an 04 Grand Marquis from their lot. Josh was easy going, very helpful and responsive to my barrage of emails, and cleared things up when there was an issue with pricing. I would definetely purchase from again, even from teo hours and another state away.

I would recommend Roberts Chrysler Dodge Ram. I contacted them when I saw the car I was interested in on their website. Josh Gregoire was great to deal with. When the original car I was interested was sent to another dealership, he contacted me when they recieved a new one on the lot. I have a now older PT Cruiser that gave me some troubles lately. I am happy that I found this place as they were always able to fix the problems. I really had the feeling they took the time to explain me what was wrong and what had to be done. Quick internet searches usually confirmed what they were telling me. Also, what they charge seems quite good, really nothing to complain about. I can really recommend the place.

They had me back three times convincing me that it was not a rack and pinion. I went to another dealership (Executive Dodge) they fixed the rack and pinion. Some not all have attitude problems. I never had problems buying parts from them for 20 years. I will never do business again with Robert's.
