My husband and I felt strongly about keeping our business local as much as possible so we visited Roberts Chevrolet Buick. From start to finish it was AWFUL!! We found a car we liked and had to ASK the sales guy (Matt) to go inside and start talking numbers. Well, he came out with a ridicules number so we counter offered. When Matt came back to the table he basically said "Sorry...we aren't going to be able to come down from our original offer." We could not believe it! He was so rude and unhelpful. We got our coats on and left. The part that gets me is that there was not even one other customer in there. I'm just blown away (and not in a good way) that they were not even willing to negotiate...not even a little bit. What really surprises me is that they are even in business! How do they keep their doors open doing business like that! They were horrible and I will NEVER go back there. We ended up going to another dealership and got the same care with MORE options for several thousand dollars less than Roberts offer. My husband and I feel cheated that we spent an hour of our life being treated so badly.

Easy and great prior to sale. After sale, the communication quit. The managers took no pride in fixing easy resolutions and pushed blame to other members and myself. There was no follow-up of phone calls. Beware of post sale support and follow-up.

I drove to their lot after hours and did not see the vehicle I was looking for. Upon contacting the dealership via email I was told they still had the vehicle I wanted. During a phone conversation the salesman even asked for the best number to reach me so he could call if the vehicle sold before I could look at it. I even received an email a few hours before my appointment telling me they still had it. I made the 30 minute drive only to be shuffled off to an unsuspecting salesman who tried to show me a vehicle I had told the first guy I did not want.

I went there by accident, I work for the city of Kansas City. We have all our work done there so I thought to ask and I met Ryan. He was laid back, nice and honest. He worked fast and got me exactly what I wanted for my trade. I passed three other dealerships on my way from my house. My mother lives two blocks away from Cable on Noland Rd. They beat Cable by $1000 on my trade and $220 bucks on the car. They got the car from Cable too is the funny part. Roberts ROCKS!!!

I have used Roberts service for years now. The company I work for has also. We live app. 35 miles north of Roberts and have used another dealership once or twice because it was convenient for us but we won't do that again. We will always drive the extra mile because of the friendly and excellent service we have received from them. We also purchased a vehicle from Roberts GMC and it couldn't have been any smother negotiations.

Dave Taylor is a great salesman, he helped us with everything we needed and was very knowledgable concerning the vehicles we were looking at. The whole process was very customer friendly and no hassle. The staff has been wonderful and cared about our needs and wants.

Worst Customer Service Experience!! The other posts listed here make me strongly believe the employees have written these reviews. I worked with Ryan in the Used Car Sales Department, and he was pleasant up until negotions began....which we all know is the most important part of buying a vehicle. If you have your vehicle listed for over 4 thousand over auction prices, you should know you have room to move on price. Dealers mark their vehicles up knowing they might have to negotiate. We let Ryan know we knew what auction, black book, blue book and market value were at. We were CASH BUYERS as well!!! We offered 3 thousand under their list price and 1000 over auction. I said this is "where we would like to be." When a customer says this it is their starting price.....they realize there will be a counter and they can bargain. Dealerships usually bargain their sales. However with Ryan, remind you we are a (CASH BUYER) said where we wanted to be, he was upset said not even close. I let him know I am sure he didn't give that price for the trade of the vehicle. He said yes ma'am, we take care of our customers! I even went up $500 dollars more to try to negotiate, but he declined saying "that's not going to happen, thanks for coming in." He then took the dealer tag and walked off. My husband and I were blown away. Not only did he never take our info with phone number to contact us, he didn't even try to negoiate with us. As a individual who spent 5 years in sales....in the automotive industry.....I was shocked! You never, never especially to a CASH BUYER tell them no way and walk off without even trying to negotiate or ask where we could meet on price. I would recommend if you are looking to over pay and not bargain, this is a great place to buy. However if you like good customer service, correct pricing, a rep who will work for you, and truly stand behind his slogan of "We take care of our customers" this is not the business for you.

The Chevrolet Cruze ECO is an excellent car for the money, especially considering the mileage. Ryan (our salesman)is THE reason we bought here. Ryan's style (no pressure) and personality(laid back) is what makes Robert's Auto Plaza in Platte City THE place to buy your next car or truck. Ryan is very knowledgeable about the Chevrolet Cruze. I will continue to buy from Ryan, and refer business to him every chance I get for years to come.

I purchased a new Silverado from Ryan and it was easy as pie. We actually went in to buy a used truck but Ryan showed us why buying a new truck 0% for 72 months was better. Our truck payment came out 40 bucks a month cheaper on a new than used. I will never go to another place again to buy a truck. Go see Ryan you won't be disappointed!
