Ever since I purchased my vehicle at Rick Hendrick I've come back for regular maintenance and will continue to because I like how it's a customer friendly dealership and the associates are trying hard to accommodate the customers. I like that the waiting area is comfortable with tv and internet access so you can take care of your business while waiting and not feel like your time is being wasted. I live an hour away from the dealership but that's the only place I take my vehicle. Also, the maintenance people are excellent. Copy

We came to this location after visiting several other dealerships. Upon arriving onsite, we were greeted with a friendly welcome, quickly given help and received excellent customer service by Darwin Young. He was sincere, willing to help and listened to us. We came into the dealership upside down on our car loan due to being taken advantage of by another dealership. This made us extra cautious when making the decision on our next car. The team at Rick Hendricks and especially Darwin Young listened, problem solved and found solutions that worked on getting us in a more reliable car for our family. Could not recommend Darwin Young enough!

After a few initial stumbles from their Internet/Reception team, Darwin Young took over the Sales Process with me. We looked at several models and after I explained exactly what i was looking for, he brought me to exactly the vehicle I was looking for. If you go to Hendrick Chevy in Buford ASK FOR DARWIN!I should also mention Kevin Houston in Finance. The Financial paperwork process when buying a new car is always painfully laborious. Not with Kevin. He offered some great products and streamlined the whole financing process. Both Darwin and Kevin are friendly, professional and competent - unfortunately, that's rare these days.

Honesty and integrity is key to me, Calvin sold me 2 Silverado's '14 and 15', he knew exactly what I wanted and had the picture pilainted before I even hit the lot.Fast forward. I took my 2006 Impala in for a noise it was making form the engine bay. I must say after all said and done I was quite impressed with the level of service, and the fact they went above and beyond to make sure I was completely satisfied. Thank you Jeremy Zmek for providing excellent and prompt service which is hard to find both at the same time. I'm glad such a fine Service Facility resides in my hometown of BUFORD GA.

This was one of the worst experiences I have had at any dealership or shop. I scheduled an appointment for 11:30 am and was told that the work would take 1.5 hours. When I dropped the car off I was told that they were busy and it may take longer. I have an issue with a shop that schedules appointments but does not give those individual any priority over drive ups. I was not informed my car was ready until I called at 4:30 pm to get an update. I informed my rep (James) that I need a shuttle to pick me up from my house less than 1 mile from the dealership. He informed me it would be there is 30 minutes. I called back at 5:30 asking for an update on the shuttle and was informed that they had left 15 minutes prior to my call to pick me up. They were not willing to try to reach the driver while I was on the phone. At 5:50 I had to drive another vehicle up to get the keys because I could not (and should not have to) wait any longer. Jamess only comment to me was that he wished they schedulers wouldnt promise work times to customers. I find it unprofessional that James wanted to put his management and execution issues off on another team member. As I informed James, it is not responsibility to question what I was told and that it falls on him and his management to meet the time commitments that his team members make. I will never use this dealership again for any personal or business work and plan to reach out to Chevrolet Corporate about this issue.

I was in for a recall on an 8yr old vehicle that I didn't buy from you. That didn't matter because you treated me like part of the GM Family and took care of me just like one of your own direct customers - not an experience that I can say I've always received from some GM dealerships (where I had not purchased a car) when trying to get warranty work!Keep up the good work!!! We are going to be in the market for a car within a few years and will definitely be coming to your dealership to look based primarily on this very positive experience. I was going to be coming anyways because I only live about 2 miles away BUT I will definitely now be coming and putting a Chevrolet at the top of my possibilities. I now have two options for high-quality service for my GM fleet (we own 5!) within a few miles of my house. I came in with a certain price range for a used Malibu. The sales associate said he would be right back with the key. I thought we were going to go out on the lot and look at cars in my price range. He brought one car over out of my price range . When I said I wanted to see other cars we went out on the lot and none of the used cars had prices, but they were newer cars out of my range. The manager asked what they could do to earn my business but I did not see a car I wanted. This is the age of the internet. This is not the 80's.

This dealer has no good faith ethics. Went in on May 10, 2016 for a repair to be done on my GMC truck, they charged me 5,000 dollars, and two weeks after, the same problem occurred. Went back in they then stated its injectors, looking to charge me another 6,000 dollars. Went to a mechanic who knew what he was doing it had nothing to do with what they mention. Do your homework before going to this dealer.

The reason I was unable to give this dealership five stars was in regards to my service experience with the service advisor curtis. After almost 2 1/2 days of lack of communication, and discuss-trust I was ready to tow my vehicle to a different dealership. However, after receiving new service advisors and working with Mike and Paul, they took control, communicated and kept me up-to-date on my vehicle. I would recommend working with Paul and Mike. Tiffany did a great job as well.

I just wanted to take a minute and share my experience at Rick Hendricks Chevy ( Buford). I give the dealership 5 Stars. This was a very smooth process from beginning to end. More specifically, I want to thank my salesman, Sandy F.. Not only was he extremely genuine and a gentleman to boot but very knowledgeable and professional.Sandy was no pressure and worked hard finding and then making the deal work for me. The car I wanted was out of state and Sandy worked his magic to not only provide the car I wanted but at the price I needed!I can honestly say , this is the first time I actually loved the car buying process way to go Sandy and Rick Hendricks!-Lenny D. I originally spoke with Andre. I had an appointment with him. We arrived, he was no where to be found! We we're referred to Matt that appeared to have NO sales experience. Then from him to a guy name Jeff who tried to get me to do paperwork on a car that hadn't passed even inspection. We came to an agreement on price. Then Jeff wanted to run my credit & put me in a Chevy Cruze when I was there for a Honda Sports & had already been preapproved thru Capital One. I was coming to do all paperwork & pick up the car once it passed inspection. Then he continued to play games & leave the table just pealing around. Then sent Matt back (the one with NO sales experience) to tell us that someone in the office are doing paperwork on the car as we speak & the car was no longer for sale.

I wanted to trade trucks so I called Rick Hendrick in Buford ga.I got in touch with the nicest sales man named Sandy Fordham,I told him over the phone what I was looking for and what I wanted to spend.He took a few minutes and got back with me and said he had what I was looking for.Me and the wife went to the dealership and met with Sandy Fordham the next day to try and work out a deal.He took us to his desk and gave us some GOOD POPCORN and water and said he was going to find the truck on the lot.He returned with the keys and we went outside to the truck,it was just as I had pictured in my mind.He took a few minutes and walked around the truck with us explaining all the new features on the outside and handed me the keys and my wife and I and Sandy Fordham got in and went for a test drive.The truck rode like a dream and I knew this was the one.We got back to the dealership and started the paper work.I have bought a lot of trucks from Hendrick but I have to say that this was the easiest deal I have ever made,Sandy Fordham was the nicest guy to work with and he met all my requirements of the deal he is a Credit to the dealership.He also helped me clean out my trade in and went over all the features inside the truck explaining what each one was and how it worked.So if you are looking for an easy buying experience go to Rick Hendrick in Buford ga and ask for Sandy Fordham.

My name is Juan Merced. After spending my whole adult life in the automotive industry I am very difficult to please. My sales experience with David Cauthen was an absolute pleasure. Because of how I have handled myself with my customer over my 25 years in sales, I only expected the best from any dealership I visited. I have a very high level of expectations. Immediately I was put at ease when I was approached by David. He was.quite knowledgeable. He listened to what I wanted and needed. He delta with my situation by showing interest in making sure that I received the service I wanted and deserved. At no point did he make me feel as though I was being pressured. Now, I know that this is a part of the sales training however, David didn't make it seem as though he was go through the motions. He seemed genuinely concerned and engaged in the entire process of my sale. I was clear and up front with David immediately. I explained to him that I owed more than what my trade was worth. I also indicated to David that because of the Christmas season around the corner that I wasn't planning on putting any money down. I then proceeded to inform him that I wanted to stay at my current monthly payment. I also had to inform David that because of a serious illness a few years back that put me out of work for nearly two years my credit situation wasn't the best. I mentioned that I have spent over 25 years in the automotive industry. I know for a fact that after the first two bits of information that I told David about my situation it would have made any other sales person running for the hills to get away from me. For fear of wasting the poor sales persons time and clear tryung to accomplish the impossible for me. Nevertheless David didn't hesitate one minute to start assisting me in my sale. He didn't rush me to an application to find out if my credit was worthy enough to buy or make me feel like I was expecting the impossible. He handled me and the sale with great respect and treated me with all the dignity any customer deserves. It is because of this that I will recommend others and continue to do business with David Cauthen at Rick Hendricks

Set up an appointment today with a gentleman that appeared to sincerely want my business. He followed up several times to make sure I would be on time for the appointment. Once I arrived and checked in I waited around for about 15 minutes. The receptionist asked me if anyone had talked to me yet. "Not yet"...She apologized and called the business manager. He came out and explained they were short handed. He found another sales rep that appeared to sincerely want my business. I told him what I was looking for and he said he would go get the vehicles. 15 minutes later I told the receptionist I would come back when they were not so short handed.She apologized and called the business manager again. He came out told me the 2nd sales rep went to the back to get the trucks. I walked back to the back lot to save some time. No one back there. Waste of time and gas..... My advise is to find another dealership that appears to sincerely want your business.

Was interested in a used car that I found on their website and the website stated that it was located in Buford. I called and spoke with Taneika Griffin twice to confirm the car was on the lot and it was available for a test drive. I arrived at the site and asked for Taneika Griffin. Clue #1 - I was met by two salesmen (don't remember names excep that one was Josh). Clue #2 - They asked me to walk over to a sales desk and the first question was if I was paying cash or financing the vehicle. I stated that question does not matter at this point because I have not seen the vehicle. Clue #3 - They asked me if I ever thought about buying American. Alarms were ringing in my head to run but I played the game for another minute or two. They then sat me down and proceeded to show me the vehicle on the computer while I informed them that I had already viewed it online as well as the Carfax report. They then informed me that the vehicle was in Charlotte, NC but we could make a deal and get the vehicle to Buford. I then stood up and informed them that since the car was not onsite there was no reason for me to be there. I then walked out. These people totally mislead me just to get me in the door. It's a shame that there are people in this world who do business like them. Liars and deceivers straight up.

We were told they had a few cars that were listed more than the price we were willing to pay but to come on in because the price could be negotiated down to what we wanted. We went to the dealership not to be assisted by the young lady(Taneika Griffin) who said would assist us because her back was hurting, the young lady did come out only to inform us that she didn't know we were coming as early as we did (I thought I had made it very clear we would be there around the time we arrived.) We were then handed over to another salesman (Arton Lecalic) who acted as if he had no clue and didn't want to be bothered. One of the finance managers(Todd Menefee) walked over to us and stared suggesting we buy something brand new which was awful because the car is for my 74 year old mother who does limited driving and just needs something to go from point "A" to point "B", she is retired. The finance manager also suggested that she finance something versus paying just cash, what 74 year old needs to have a car note if they can help it or does not choose to do so. They showed us a car in the shop being worked on we should consider purchasing, but it was in the air on the lift and no one could tell us anything about the price or mileage. They then proceeded to tell us they would send for a car from another location about 15 minutes away that we were interested in if we had a moment, we agreed to wait then they came back and said on 2nd thought we are not going to bring it over because it was going to be out of our price range overall, but let me remind you they said the car could have been negotiated to our price to begin with! We left, the more I think about the more furious I became, I made it very clear what we were looking for and be willing to pay if they couldn't deliver I much rather they tell us that then to have us come out and waist our time. They are located far bit out of our way. They would literally have to be giving cars a way for me and my family to ever visit and consider purchasing from them. My mother found a car yesterday, the price was less than what she was willing to pay and it was exactly what she wanted, the customer service was outstanding!! I just gave an outstanding review on this site for the awesome service.

Because our vehicle choice was a day old trade it was in the service department for inspection. I purchased a 2015 Sonic. The young man Travis Lyons was a delight. I told him I had never owned a new car and he told me that when I left I would be in a new car. He kept me entertained while waiting on a decision from finance companies. The managers came over also to make sure I was okay while waiting. Well, it started in 2014 about 10 months ago, i finally decided with my wife to get a new car. Roy Riley was our salesperson, extremely helpful and just a clown (in a good way) we laughed and had a great time. IT made US FEEL fantastic, i am not a pushover as i know how most car dealers use their tactics to sell cars. HOWEVER, i am also very realistic it's business! They make good money of you, in return you should get what you pay for a nice car and service. So i bought the 2014 CRUZE LT with MYLINK, for about 24k 0 miles on the odometer. Fantastic, i had GAP on it all the reasonable insurances you want on a car. Also the oil program, that makes it just a blessing taking it to their service station. Keys, no money needed and free coffee and done, 10 months later (so about a week ago) We went in again, the CRUZE, has by now 14000miles on the odometer, i kept in in super good condition. Not paint damage, or dent and even made it a LTZ myself (so added trim) We were helped by a young man that actually got trained by Roy! Roy by now still works for them but in Las Vegas, so good to hear he is doing so well. Long story short, we got 12000usd back for the CRUZE, this gave us a 8000usd negative equity. Now this seems like a complete crazy thing to do. In a way, you are correct. However, they did us a "offer" of 620usd (naturally that is a overpriced offer they count on a counter offer) per month for the Malibu. We declined, as i told him straight up i will see you next year. Lots of hassle what not, we got it down including all the GAP and such to $524, we can live with that. Still we got handled like people, and not chumps buying a 5 dollar toy and leave the store. Mind you, we also bought 3 years ago a Ford Mustang 2012 at the Ford dealer. Which was GOOD but nothing compared to the service we had at Rick Hendrick. The financial part goes really fast there. Mike Dinardi still remembered us from buying the Cruze so we talked and joked around. And got it all swiftly done! Overall i would say a 10+ That place never let me down as far as service goes. My wife whenever she is ready will get her new car there too. I am sure of it !

The first new car we bought was 43 years ago, and The experience left me with a bad taste for new car dealers and until 9-25-2015 had not bought a new one since the first one. We decided we needed a new car so we started looking at several dealers in the metro area, basically got the same treatment as before high pressure to buy, repeated phone calls wondering if we were coming to get "our" car, five in one day. We decided to try Rick Hendrix in Buford and boy what a difference we found. We were met there by Aaron Kniffin. Aaron talked with us to find out what we were looking for in a new car. Aaron listened to us and started looking for a car for us. He took his time to show us several cars on the lot and then tried to find one at their other dealerships on the computer. Aaron is very easy to talk to, no high pressure he is truly interested in finding the car that will make you happy.After going there to basically look at Chevrolets we ended up buying a 2016 Tranverse that day and have been extremely happy that we did. If someone is looking to buy a new car I would highly recommend them going to Rick Hendrix in Buford and talking with Aaron Kniffin as he is very knowledgeable, friendly and very easy to talk to. Dropped my car off at the collision center, and was given a ride to Enterprise instead of waiting for them to pick me up. Brett called twice throughout the duration of my car being serviced to keep me updated and informed on the progress. Excellent experience, my car also looked and smell like new when I got it back.

Our Client Advisor, Whitney Sanders, met us in the parking lot and listened to what our expections were, brought us inside and immediately started researching the pre-owned vehicles on the computer that they had available. Within minutes, she had the first vehicle parked outside for me to test drive. It was a good and fair distance to drive allowing turns, traffic lights and stop signs to maneuver, giving me a good and fair assessment of the capabilities of the car. We returned to the lot and she brought the second vehicle for me to drive with the same route. I decided on the first vehicle and Whitney Sanders said that she could tell that I had made my choice with the first car. I really like her. She has a pleasant personality and is extremely patient with my questions.

I came in on Saturday 8/22/15 and purchased a 2015 Chevy Camaro. My sales rep Travis Lyons was the best sales rep that I have ever had. Not only did he help me get a car but he also help my mom get a car all in the same day. Even thought it was a long process Mr. Lyons made it all worth wild.
