Could not be more pleased!

I was introduced to Richmond Car and Truck through a third party buying service. Most of the shopping and buying process was completed before I arrived. Just needed to take a test drive then brace myself for the all too dreaded used car sales tactics, techniques and trials I was dreading. NONE of that happened. The staff that I worked with and met (Brad Perry, who called me the night before my appointment to make sure everything was in place and ready, Rick Witt, who took me step by step through the vehicle I was expecting to see and assured everything was in proper order and Mike Eckler, the owner) could not have dispelled the car sales nightmare any better if it had been scripted. Very simply...my flabber was gasted!!!I drove away with the car I wanted with no stress, anxiety or drama. I will, and am now, referring anyone in the car market to at least give these folks a serious look. If you don't do business with them I suspect it will be because they simply didn't have the car or truck you wanted.So...to the staff at Richmond Car and Truck.."Thank you"!PS: A special shout out to Timothy, the gentleman that got my vehicle ready to take possession of for his professional conduct and respectful demeanor with my wife. We would highly recommend this dealership! Wonderful staff that worked closely with us. They even offered to drive to the county over to get papers signed so that we wouldn't have to take time off from work. They also gave us a complimentary full tank of gas without asking!!! Super nice staff.

Little background of myself. I used to be in the sales business and still am from time to time helping sell used cars, boats, and Sea-Doos. I have been doing it for almost 12 years now. With that being said, going to car dealerships is frightening and sometimes a pain dealing with pushy salesman or pushy sales managers. This however, was not the case. From the moment I showed up Rick was very friendly and very easy to get along with. I had stopped about a month ago and looked at the vehicle I purchased last night. I am very picky when it comes to getting a vehicle. I go over it with a fine tooth comb. Even knowing it was a used vehicle and will have some cosmetic stuff, Rick and Brad were able to order the pieces to fix a couple of things no problem. These two stayed with me two and a half hours past closing to finalize the sale and make me a truly happy customer. From the sales price, to the fixing of some minor issues, to the finalizing of paperwork, and the financing was superior. I truly recommend going there. They have the same values as myself when I sold, be there for the customer. Even when I went the first time Rick didn't try pushing me to the vehicle. He let me drive it, talked to me a little bit, and when he found I was still looking, he didn't just walk away. He continued to talk to me and advised for me to keep them in mind and keep an eye open on their lot for anything I liked. Knowing that I wasn't going to get bombarded with phone calls all the time was also a great feeling. In a long story short, stop by and give these guys a chance. You won't be disappointed.

Everyone I worked with at RCTC were imminent professionals. I was in the market for a vehicle and I was in a bind. I found my Audi A4 online, and was contacted by Rick. He walked me through the process and was always reachable with prompt answers to any question I had as I am located outside the local area. There was a spot of paint on the vehicle that needed to be painted and the staff had everything taken care of for us. It looked professional and fantastic. They event bought a brand new battery for the vehicle. The price was better on our type of vehicle at Richmond Car and Truck Center than anyone in town. Great customer service! They took care of my family when I let them know what we wanted and that I did not want to spend lots of time shopping on vehicles that we were not interested in. I let them know that I did not need to be sold a vehicle and that I was already interested in buying one, I just needed to get one that was appropriate for my family. I let them know up front that I wanted to do business with Richmond Car and Truck Center if they would take care of us. They certainly did!

My expectations as a customer are what I consider to be VERY high but fair, Richmond Car and Truck Center met them all, very nicely! Upon entering Richmond Car and Truck Center, I was very impressed with the quality and look of the inventory of vehicles on the lot, cars AND trucks. Although I went there specifically to see a truck I found myself looking at the various assortment of vehicles I thought my VERY picky girlfriend may like as well, as she was with me. Traded cars on the phone and then exchanged keys. GREAT GUYS

Made deal on the phone. Drove to their business location, drove the car, they verified my car was as described on the phone, I wrote them a check for agreed balance and drove the "new" car home. The owners manual was missing and Brad ordered and had sent to me within 3 days the entire new owners manual and books. Would gladly do business with them again!!! The owner Rick seems to be a first class man. I've bought/traded around 180 cars/trucks since 1965 and this transaction went very smooth and quick. Satisfied customer!!!!

The only car lot you need to visit

I went to Richmond Car and Truck because I had heard that it was hassle-free and that the staff was genuine and honest. I needed a vehicle ASAP and did not want to do the whole song and dance. I wanted an honest price for a quality vehicle. My experience with the staff was great here. I told them what I was looking for and they showed me the different options that they had on the lot. Rick had the opportunity to push a more expensive vehicle but did not. Instead he helped me to find the vehicle that met my needs and my budget. Once I decided on which vehicle to purchase Joe was very thorough explaining the paper work and ensuring I knew exactly what I was paying for. I don't think my experience could have been any better. I plan on recommending Richmond Car and Truck to all my family and friends. Next time I need a vehicle this will be my one and only stop.

Richmond Car and Truck Center was a perfect fit for me and my wife. We had been searching for about 4 months for our perfect car, a Mazda Miata and found it with this great group of guys. I recently bought my 2013 Dodge Avenger from Joe and the fellas at Richmond Car and Truck and before I even got to the dealership I knew Joe would take care of me. He spent 30 minutes on the phone with me discussing my needs and preferences in a vehicle and my financial situation. After driving an hour and twenty minutes to get to the dealership I was happy with the selection of cars he had for me and his knowledge of each option. Honest people and great cars!

I'm 19 years old and it's hard to find a place that isn't going to take advantage of you these days, but Joe made my first car purchase so easy. I loved that they can keep a conversation going with you and accommodate all of your needs. Joe made sure that I knew everything that was going on with buying my car and I truly appreciated that. Also, Mike helped me with any questions that I had about my car. My 2012 Chevy Cruze is amazing and I have nothing to complain about. My next car will be bought from them! I bought my 2012 Hyundai Sonata a little over a year ago since I bought the car. I was nervous about dealing with a car dealership being only 20 years old and a young girl. The RCTC way is the best way to buy.

Brad Perry told me that he and Mike were more concerned about their relationship with their customers than the number of cars they sell. Then he proved it. The Hummer we drove from Tennessee to see at their dealership did not disappoint. Neither did the treatment we received. We got a really great price for our trade and bought a really nice Hummer. There were no unpleasant surprises and no pressure. Brad had most of the paperwork including the tag transfer done before we arrived. During our test drive we discovered a small problem and Brad and Mike took care of it immediately. After we returned to Tennessee this small problem returned and I called Brad. Brad and Mike arranged for someone to meet my wife halfway between our home in Tennessee and Richmond with a loaner car! They took our Hummer back to Richmond, fixed the problem, then again met my wife at the halfway point to return the Hummer. How's that for customer service! So nice to deal with fair and honest people who truly value their customers. If you want buy a car or truck and want to deal with people that will treat you right then drive to Richmond Car and Truck Center. You won't be disappointed.

Mike and Brad went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of. I first saw the truck on their online photo gallery, which had a total of 87 pictures showcasing the truck. All pictures and descriptions were very accurate in relation to the actual condition of the truck. This was very important because I had to drive 938 miles to look at and buy the truck. Richmond Car and Truck Center is a welcome oasis of pleasant relief in the normally dicey (to be courteous) business of auto sales. This dealership only sells very clean, like-new looking used cars, so if you want a rusted clunker with 150k, this is not the place for you. The sales people were incredibly friendly, helpful, and low-key. It seemed that they were comfortable with the idea that their vehicles would sell if the customer liked them- no upselling or pressure or gimmicks. We bought a one year old Mazda 5 for an incredible deal- we couldn't believe the low price they offered, and currently-nearly three years later-the car has performed superbly. Several months ago, my husband purchased a 2012 Toyota Camry from RCTC. I was so pleased with the experience, that I decided to replace my 2007 minivan with a 2010 Honda Accord. We typically own our cars for a long time, so we made this decision carefully. We considered miles per gallon, financing options, warranty and dealer reputation. The Accord had just over 64,000 miles on it and the warranty was very appropriate for the age and mileage. We were presented the warranty in detail and informed why my warranty differs from my husband's whose vehicle is newer and has less miles. It took some time, but Mike was careful and thorough with us as we considered our purchase. I appreciate that they have contacted both of us since we purchased our vehicles. I purchased a 2006 Saab 97x from Richmond Auto and Truck Sales. 7/20/2013. I also purchased a premium warranty for $1800 offered by the dealership. Not even 4months after purchase the engine blew up and the warranty would only cover $4000 of the $6500 it will cost for the new engine. I would have never purchased the vehicle if i had been told from the beginning the warranty would only cover a minimal amount. The salesman Brad Perry only showed me a pretty little pamphlet with basic information and told me that was all I needed to know about the warranty. My father and I went to the dealership with a positive additude to speak to the owner Mike Eckler hoping he would he help resolve the situation in some manner. Rather than being nice, Mike Eckler got defensive, was rude and tried to school my father and I about the chances you take when buying a used car. Mike Eckler offered no help, resolution, or compensation for this situation. We were hoping the owner would stand behind his product and his business and make a wrong situation right. In turn we could have been return customers with great things to say about this dealship and Mike Eckler. This is a great exaple of how not to do business. Its unfortunate there was not a positive outcome and this is why I given the ratings above. Buyer beware of this dealership.

This 2010 Corolla S makes the 5th vehicle that my wife and I have purchased from Mike Eckler at Richmond Car and Truck Center. With this purchase I was looking for a vehicle that wasn't as common as the vehicles I've wanted in the past. I visited a couple of larger car lots and quickly realized exactly why I choose to do business with Mike. The sales tricks, the games, haggling, low-balling my trade in... you know the drill. I was happy when Mike found the car that I was looking for and I got a great deal as I always have. I didn't have to work with a salesman, a sales manager, a general manager, a finance manager.... At RCAT you cut out the pinball action and can just get it done quickly, efficiently, and without stress. Man am I blessed to have an honest and reliable person to turn to when I need a vehicle. Richmond Car & Truck Center is by far the best place I have ever encounter to purchase a vechicle. The Quality of Service is excellent and the selection of vehicles is top of the line. If they do not have a particular vehicle that you are searching for, they will do the leg work to find it for you. Mike and his staff are friendly and treat you with respect. I have visited numerous dealerships and have never found one with the personal touch and great pricing as Richmond Car and Truck.
