Convenient location

Came in for routine oil change, tire rotation, etc. Also had noise in the brakes which was checked while I was there. Whole process took about 2 hours.

Everyone is very friendly! Place is extremely clean! and service is great! When I mentioned that I thought the price might be slightly off, there was no argument, he let me explain, acknowledge is was incorrect and went and had it changed immediately. All in all, I can say this was a very pleasant experience.

Excellent sales and support staff

This was one of the best buying experiences I have ever had. I went to the dealership to look for a new 4 wheeel drive Silverado. All of the sales where very helpful and spent a great deal of time with me to find the right vehicle that suited my needs and desires. After test driving three different vehicles we were able to complete a deal on that was more than satisfactory with a payment within $4 of my target. I would recommend this dealership and sales staff to anyone.

2nd Lease in 6 Months, better the 2nd time around

The sales staff was professional and knowledgeable about the product. My wife wanted an Equinox and they took the time to listen to her and understand her needs. We did give a little notice that we'd be coming down to look at vehicles and this time we felt like our business was appreciated. (When I came down to purchase a truck in June I sort of felt like I was inconveniencing some of the staff.) I'm not a fan of being bombarded by salespeople as soon as we drive into the lot. If I want to look around first I'd like to be given the opportunity to do so. If I want help I can come ask for help.If I'm eligible for discounts, rebates, etc., I may not be aware of all of them. Some guidance would be appreciated (I just found out I missed out on a $1,000 employee appreciation certificate on the Silverado I leased this summer. Had no idea it existed until I just got a "reminder" email that the 2015 certificate was extended until the end of February.) As a customer, I want the best deal that I'm eligible for with a little haggling and in-depth work on my part as possible. As long as I feel like I was treated reasonably well and that my best interests are being looked out for I will return - if not I have no problems looking elsewhere. I understand that the dealership is in business to make money but with you guys being the experts there are undoubtedly some aspects of this car-buying game that you are more aware of than I will ever be.

FASTER THAN LIGHTENING

The service center was fast and efficient! They had my car in and out with an oil change and tire rotation and balance! I was not expecting it to go so quickly around the holidays and especially on a Saturday! It made my day!

I researched the vehicle already knew my credit score and was pre-approved. The website offers an ePrice which is a more than what the in-person price was...when that price didn't work the ePrice was offered. Also, the dealership had a good idea of where the vehicles were and were very quick about bringing one to drive and look at. Sales staff were friendly and fun to talk to...not too pushy but it is a business. the sales manager knew the price enough to have a quick counter offer and that was good.

Good service, but poor parking lot layout

Dropped off car for an oil change. Received call two hours later from service advisor that car was ready for pick-up. The only issue was that car was parked outside in space west of service/parts department and blocked by two other cars. Service advisor could not find keys for either car. My car had to be carefully jockeyed out from between the other two cars adding 30 additional minutes to my pick-up time.

Mostly good experience

My wife and I had a pretty good experience with our vehicle purchase. The only thing that perturbed me was that we asked to see another truck and they didn't bring one right away, it took me asking twice. Then they brought the exact same truck with a slightly different trim package. I really liked the truck I ended up with, but I might have gotten a truck with more features if they would have shown me one.

Polite and efficient. There are NO coat hangers in the waiting areas. It would be VERY HELPFUL if there was a place to hang our coats.

Awesome Service Center

I came in to get a door handle replaced on my 2013 Silverado, an oil change and tire rotation. The service writer was very polite and awesome, as well as the loaner car woman. The work was finished before noon and my truck was washed as well. The only negative is that the service person did not get the inside door panel attached at the top of the door and I had to remove it myself and attach it properly. He must have been in a hurry, but it would have been inconvenient to bring it back.

Easy visit--good service.

I came to have a tire checked and they were able to remove the "screw" and "patch" the tire. It didn't take long at all and I didn't even need an appointment!

I purchased a used certified vehicle, there were a few problems with it. Your service department took care of everything in a very timely fashion.

It was better than I ever expected it would be, they knew I was in a tough spot and helped me in every way they could to get me into a car that I could afford and I truly appreciated their effort.

Oil Change

I waited longer than normal to get my oil changed. An hour and a half compared to a normal 45 minutes. And I had an appointment.

Top Notch Service

Although this was to be a routine service appointment, Matt, the service advisor, explained to me some work on the A/C and the fuel injectors, air intake system, and throttle plates that needed to be done. I gave my approval for doing it, and I am glad I did because the performance of the vehicle has been enhanced greatly. Because this would take longer than scheduled, another employee took me home. Both Matt and the attendant who took me home (didn't get his name) were very friendly and professional. Also, the customer lounges at Ray Skillman Chevrolet are top notch--the best I've ever seen. My only complaint about the service department is that when I ask for my tires to be inflated to recommended pressure, it isn't always done.All in all, my experience at this dealership is the best I've had at any dealership.

Great Service

I always have a great service experience. The remodeled waiting area has tables with access to power and wifi makes getting maintenance work completed less of a hassle and more of an enjoyable experience as I can get my work done by my vehicle is being serviced.

Factory recall repairs

I had to bring my car in for a factory recall repair. I was able to get an appointment right away at a time convenient for me and the work was done in a short time. All in all, a pleasant experience.

Buying Process with referral of family and friends

We were met with Tim Weko for an appt that was set up by our daughter (who is also a buyer with Ray Skillman). Tim was very kind and answered all questions we had. The buying process is very tiring dealing back and forth on an agreed price. Would like to get to the point of an agreed price (and also take into consideration the referral of othere customers who sent us there to be treated well and get a good deal). While being referred and having put in a good word with those who have purchased in the past, did not get the best deal we felt could've been given. Otherwise, the staff were very kind and we finally came to an agreed price. Just dont tell former buyers to send friends and family if you are not willing to give them "great" deals up front.

Morton Esbjooern, our salesman, was great to work with. After we went on our test drive in a green 2015 Silverado 1500 Crew Cab Short bed LT-Z71, he was very professional about making sure that we understood the features that were included with the vehicle and how they worked. After the test drive, we were walking into the showroom area and I decided, almost immediately, not to buy the one that we test drove but to buy the green 2015 Silverado 1500 Crew Cab Short bed LTZ off the showroom floor. This was the best experience I have ever had buying a car! As soon as I walked in the door everyone was so willing to help even after I had a salesman other sales people were willing to help me with questions. I live rather far from the dealership and I brought my vehicle in that I purchased from ray skillman for maintenance, it was approximately 20 minutes before the service center was closing, and regardless of that they went ahead and serviced my car. I just had an oil change. I was told all fluids were filled, but the windshield washer fluid was empty. Now I have t go buy some and put it in myself. Other than that, service was great.

Mike, Kevin and the service team has really tried hard to rectify my seat issue. We think this time we may have the problem figured out. I still think the dealership should give out shirts or jackets to help advertise the dealership. Incase your wondering, I am a 2X and wife is an XL.

This is now my 3rd time getting something done at ray Skillman chevy and every single time they have completely blown me away with their care for me and my car. I worked at a dealership for a Couple years, and know all the dealership fears, but man everyone in the service department makes evening worth while and easy. I've mainly dealt with jay and he's been nothing but amazing but everyone else has been very courteous also. I definitely will be coming back for a long long time.

Salesman were amazing. Not pushy and truly listened to my needs/wants. I'm a very indecisive person and he was great in dealing with that. When we came to the dealership, we were just looking. We were greated by Marcus, he was very helpful and explained the differnces in the Equinox's. We then went inside and started working with Mike Ramsey. Great Service all the way. We really had planned on buying a new vehicle when we went in, just looking, and in less than 2 hours we test drove, picked an vehicle did paperwork and Marcus then went over all the On start features and set things up and we were on the way home. We had a much better experience this time when we came to the dealership than the last time we stopped in about 3 years ago. We almost didn't stop back at the dealership again, cause of the way we were treated prior. Marcus and Mike have done an outstanding job. And the Finance Manager was great also. Thank you!

Great Customer Service and Knowledgeable Staff

Since I live quite a distance from the Ray Skillman dealership I had already researched the Chevy Colorado and looked at the inventory posted online. When I came in I asked to see a specific vehicle and it was brought right up to the front door for me to look at and drive. Everyone was very helpful and we were able to take the vehicle home that afternoon.

Salesman excellent

Jack Lucas was great to work with as usual. I've been buying cars from him before there was a Ray Skillman! When presented with my financing options by Derrick I was not very happy with the experience from then on. I was not given the best deal available on the first offer. Instead we played games with the interest rate and I am still not convinced I received the best available. If I had known we were negotiating I'd have asked for a different price. I do not enjoy playing games when buying a car. Never had to with Mahoney or even Watson.

Great service, minimum wait time

Went in for routine oil, filter and rotation. Dealership was busy but I took a book to read as I was in no hurry however in about one hour hey came and said I was ready to go. Couldn't have time to read my book as tv was on fox news and the volume was up so I couldn't read.

Great Service

I had been told of some issues with both the oil pan and the axle's leaking and after a week I could see the spots on the garage floor were getting increasingly bigger we brought the car in for the repairs that had been quoted. We were given a loaner vehicle which makes things so much easier. Repairs were made and car was done when promised.

Buying or leasing a car often feels like the longest process. We drove over an hour and were at the dealership for a long time. However, TJ made this process less painful by his demeanor and conversation. We enjoyed his casual personality while we waited for the process to be finalized. Good customer service

Went to have a tire replaced that was losing air. This was the third one that needed replaced over the course of the last couple of years. I ask my service tech if the fourth one looked like it needed replaced as well and he told me it looked like it was OK yet and had life left. I appreciated him not trying to sell me two tires instead of one.

My wife and I went to your dealership, to look at new vehicles. We were planning on trading in our VW Jetta, that we were still paying on. I felt a little rushed at the beginning, but by the completion of our deal, I was comfortable and satisfied with our new vehicle. Simple Oil Change takes longer than usual

To call & schedule an appointment for an oil change is something I've never understood when it's "first come, first serve". Waiting nearly 2 hours for just the oil change is also something that I think could be improved on. I realize I can go anywhere however I choose go to the dealer to keep my vehicle serviced at the same location.

I needed an oil change, tire rotation and check up of my 2015 Malibu and they did a great job.

Large Inventory, knowledgeable well dressed staff

Overall my experience was very good, but I have two points to make.1) When it came time to pick up my vehicle and complete the deal I felt VERY awkward sitting out in public discussing my income, social security number, etc. I overheard the lady beside me discuss her meager salary, her disability, poor credit rating, and how her daughter would be co-signing her loan. 2) I had originally contacted the dealership by email, I received too many automated responses, and sometimes the name of the sender of the email did not match up with the author of the email. I did not feel I had good email communication with the sales staff. I finally came to the dealership in person.
