I went in right before Thanksgiving to get information about new and used Crosstreks. Nick Hammond helped me immediately and guided me through the entire process -- test driving the car, learning about the features, negotiating finances and, within a few days, leaving with a new vehicle. It was a very easy and very fast process. Unless I have any major issues with the car or parts/services in the coming years with my new vehicle (which I am definitely not anticipating), I can definitely see myself being a returning customer to Nick and to Quality Subaru.

I came into Quality Subaru to test drive a car I saw on the internet. It was very busy at the time I had walked in and as fate would have it Nick was available to meet with me. Nick was very knowledgeable and thorough in explaining every detail of the car. As a female I did not feel pressured by any means. He was the most pleasant salesperson I've dealt with and you should ask for him! Ed was the finance guy and worked with me within my budget. Overall this was an excellent customer experience!

We can only rate the sales and purchase experience at this time, but so far our experience with salesperson Nicholas Hammond has been very positive. He made the process easy. He is very personable and it was easy to see he is knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his job and making sure we knew everything about the car, the warranties, and his dealership. He stayed late the evening we bought our Crosstrek to accommodate us and to make sure every detail was covered.

From the moment we walked in and met Ralph we knew this would be the place we would purchase our car. He could not have been more pleasant and helpful to work with. On our second visit Ralph was off that day so Chris met with us. Much to our surprise, Chris was just as pleasant and helpful as Ralph was. When we picked up our vehicle we actually had both of them going over different aspects of the vehicle and paperwork with us. I had picked out a Subaru Forester from Quality Subaru's web site and stopped by to check it out. I was greeted by Jack and introduced to Nick. A few days before I went to another Subaru dealership and looked at this make and model which was priced higher. No thanks! Nick did a very good job explaining the Forester's mechanicals and features. He was pleasant and knowledgeable. I felt no pressure to buy the car. We closed the deal and I was able to come back later and pick up the car. When I returned to pick up the car, I then met with Ed the finance manager. He was pleasant but I was miffed that at that point in the sales process he brought up service plans which naturally added to the purchase price. This is in addition to negotiating on the Certified Owned Plan with Nick. I felt pressure to decide right there and then. I told Ed it would have been more appropriate for me to discuss this with Nick before I decided to purchase the car. He explained that he had seven salespeople and not all of them could explain it. I told him I felt Nick was very capable of explaining this. He's given me until Monday at noon to decide. Now I'm trying to figure out if I should get the extended service plan and at what level and exactly what is and is not covered. Grrr!Nick went over the operation of the vehicle, set up the radio and synched my phone. He again went over the lights, radio and controls. He was very helpful and I enjoyed dealing with him. I highly recommend Nick-he's a true car "guru"! Now I've got to research the service plans! Bottom line is I'd buy another car from Nick but do prior research so I understand service plans

My search started in June, Ralph Aquino was very knowledgeable about all the Subaru's on the lot. Ralph was never pushy and VERY patient. I started looking at new cars to lease but due to credit issues ended up with a used 2010 Outback with very low miles. Ed Chen in the finance office went the extra mile to find a lender willing to finance the car at a payment that worked for me. Rate was very reasonable too. I will definitely return to this dealership for cars in the future and refer friends and family too.

I have been looking for an affordable Remote Engine Starter for my Subaru Legacy 2016. All other Subaru branches sell the remote for a whopping $369.95. Fortunately, I saw this Quality Subaru branch at Wallingford, CT online, which sells the remote for only $277.46! What a steal. I decided to use my "Goodwill Parts and Service" voucher for $250. I encountered some minor problems applying the coupon code online, so I sent an email to the branch asking for assistance. I immediately received a response from Mr. Warren Smith, the branch parts manager. He applied the code and basically ordered the remote for me and had it shipped to my house. He went above and beyond his duty to help me out, and for that I am truly grateful. I have been to several Subaru branches, which, sad to say, lacked customer service and professionalism. This branch in Wallingford, CT is cut above the rest. They really give importance to customer service and satisfaction. If only I live closer to CT, I would make this my regular go-to branch for my Subaru.

Wasn't' sure about buying or lease when i got to the dealership. After finding one i liked, it was explained to me the financing of leasing and buying.I liked the leasing aspect. The buyer was able to choose a longer plan for example 36 or 42 months. Warranty's coverage for the time of the lease seam affordable and is an excellent option.The staff was helpful and courtesy throughout the whole process. (I.E. Ralph Aquino, Mark Soll and Ed Chen)I highly recommend this dealership.

Being satisfied past Subaru owners, my wife and I visited 3 area Subaru dealerships. We had never gone car shopping at Quality Subaru but now we wish we had. As soon as we approached the showroom door, the sales manager welcomed us, asked the reason for our visit and promptly found salesman Nick Hammond to take care of us. He was very professional in his approach, asking the right questions, yet not giving us the 3rd degree. We were in a hurry that night and we told him that we just wanted to see what they had available and that we would have to return at another time. He completely understood and did not try to rush or high pressure us. He took some information so that he could work on our deal and we agreed on a day later in the week that he would contact us with some numbers. He called us when he said he would and gave us a few options to consider. We told him that we would need some time to think it over and would get back to him. Again, he was courteous and stressed that he wanted to "earn" our business. He asked if there was anything else he could do and respected our wishes. We came to an agreement on price and went to pickup our new car. Nick greeted us, thanked us for purchasing from Quality Subaru and walked us through every step of the delivery process. 12 years ago, I bought my first new car: 2004 Forester. I used the dealership service for almost all my maintenance. They are always friendly, have the best 'waiting room' I have been in, and have always provided a pleasant experience. When it came time for a new car, I went straight to Quality Subaru. I was not disappointed and now am driving a 2016 Forester. It was actually a fun experience, and I do not enjoy car shopping like some people that I know who do that as a hobby :)

I have two Subaru Outback's 2003 and 2011 and Paul's team treats them both with detailed service. The devil is in the details, I go in for an oil change and they find bulbs out that could have cost me a ticket. The under carriage cover plate was torn and hanging, it got replace with no hassles. After having a stereo install and the "check engine" light went on just before a trip, they squeezed me to hook the car up to the computer to make sure their wasn't a real problem and reset the alert. The list goes on since 2003. If you concerned with the outcome, speak to Paul, he'll st it right.

On Sunday July 3rd we went car shopping after church. We had narrowed down what we wanted, although this was a Subaru dealership they had a Ford Fusion. We have been a Ford family for some years. So my husband and I checked out the car and at first thought the dealership was closed, it was a holiday weekend. But we tried the door and they were open, or two of the salesmen were there working. I like that they didn't run out to greet us, because if felt like no pressure, but left the ball in our court. Ralph and Mark were great. Ralph took us for a test drive with no boundaries. My husband being that the car was for him drove it. We fell in love. I had an inkling this was the car we would buy especially since I wrote down the VIN number I knew we would need. Ralph and Mark were a team in selling us this car without any pressure. We made an offer, they both agreed and a sale was made. It was pretty painless for such a big purchase. My kudos go to Ralph who made this a breeze. He was professional and kind and helped us through the process. Thanks to Mark and Ed , but Ralph did all the hard work. Ed was good with the paperwork but it was a bit time consuming with additional warranties and the like. All in all a good place to do business with. We absolutely love the car.

I heard quality Subaru was a good dealership that cares about customer service but I was not impressed. My first experience started off alright, however when we got into actual negotiations, it went south. They severely low balled me on the trade in value of my car and then audibly laughed at me when I told them what I was expecting (I went to another dealership and was offered the amount I was expecting the next week). After the audible laugh, the sales representative then condescendingly asked me where did gotten that price, to which I replied Kelly Blue book. Then he tried to explain to me that Kelly Blue book has two different values you can look at and one is the dealership value, the other is the value you'd expect if you sold it out right....like he thought I could t read or use the Internet. I informed him I'd been looking at the dealership value because the value for selling it out right was over double what they offered me. After being treated like a moron I left and went elsewhere. They proceeded to call me and I decided to give them one more shot to earn my business. I spoke with the rep, explained what I wanted, what I was looking to pay, etc., and I was told that I should go elsewhere. They weren't willing to work with me. I wasn't asking for something outrageous because I know they could offer better prices than what I was being offered. I felt like my business as a customer wasn't valued and I was overlooked. Which is fine because it's a car dealership and they're all about the commission but don't pride yourself on a reputation of outstanding customer service and then make a potential customer feel like dirt. I won't be taking my business to Quality ever again and I would not recommend them to a friend.

So after looking at and testing driving a few subarus, I bought an impreza.....Took a LONG time to come in, but it did and it was perfect....or so I thought.....the ride home was incredibly uncomfortable for both myself and my husband. I called Quality the next day, spoke with Ed and Ralph (my salesman). Came back the following day for more test drives and discussions. Ralph came in on his day off to meet with us. After more than 2 hours, I returned the Impreza and bought a Forester. Pete figured out how to make it all work, and Ed was available by phone (on his day off) for a consult. Came back a few days later (I had a business trip) and picked up my new new car. Everyone involved went out of their way to make sure that we were happy with car and the final deals. Thank you.

We just purchased our 5th Subaru from Quality Subaru. All of them have been purchased from Quality starting in 2000. We did shop around for price but Quality was able to beat other dealer's pricing. Our salesperson, Nick, accommodated us over a several week period and multiple test drives by different members of our family.We worked through some issues of trying to locate a specific model and color and negotiations but in the end came to a happy end result.Jack was filling in as the finance manager when we picked up the car. We told him we weren't interested an any of the extras such as extended warranty, paint protection, etc. He merely pointed out what was available at what cost without any attempt to hard sell us. Overall the process went smoothly and when it comes time for our 6th Subaru, we'll turn to Quality first.

I just picked up my 5th Subaru with Ralph & Ed. I knew them when they were at Mitchell. (Just before my last vehicle transaction, I found out they were both at Quality so I sought them out and drove from Avon to Wallingford to lease again from them.) Ralph clearly knows his cars, as do other people with his experience in the business. I made an appointment on a Saturday and let him know my lease was up. What won me over (and will continue to) is the honesty the lack of playing games - with both Ralph and Ed. I don't particularly like going "car shopping" and really don't like feeling as though I'm being taken advantage of. I don't have to worry about that with Ralph or Ed. I feel like Ralph has my back, so much that I avoided the dealer 5 minutes from from house and even passed by another on my journey to him!In the end, I knew my objectives, so I didn't have to hem and haw too much over different models and options. From the start of appointment to the time I drove away, just 3.5 hours went by. (Not bad for a car dealership - and I came prepared with a book and a drink.) I will be looking again for them in 3.5 years!

This was our second visit to a subaru dealer in one day. We walked into Quality Subaru just looking to see what they had. We ended up walking out a few hours later with a brand new 2016 Legacy! We thought our salesman, Mark Soll was wonderful. He was well informed, patient, down to earth, and very nice! He logically helped us make sense of our needs for transportation. Mark is a true professional! We also had the privilege to work with Ed in the credit dept. Ed took extra special care of us too! He took the time to point out where and how we could improve our credit in the future and explained everything plainly that had to be explained. My experience was unusual for me because no one at Quality Subaru tried to pressure me or steer me in any way to some thing I did not want as other dealers tried to do previously. Nick Hammond asked me questions of my preferences and listened to what I had to say. When done he brought out the exact car I had in mind. He went through the car thoroughly and answered all of my questions. The rest of the process was just as pleasant with all the employees I dealt with.

This is my 3rd car I have purchased from Quality. Just like my last 2 experiences, I found the salesman to be very knowledgeable without a hint of pressure. But I would really like to mention Ed Chen. My wife and I are known to drive a hard bargain, but Ed handled it all with respect and dignity, and he worked very hard to seal the deal. I was looking for a gently used Subaru for my daughter and found a great car at Quality Subaru. There were other dealers that I contacted closer to my home but I found them to be unresponsive in finding me a car that suited our needs. That's when I contacted Ralph at who had a car that was perfect for my daughter. It was in great shape plus it had a consistent serviced record through Quality. Even though it was a used car, the service department did a complete update on EVERYTHING. Ralph was great from start to finish. He was trustworthy and responsive to our needs. He even introduced me to Paul the Service Manager who went through what was done to the vehicle. All paperwork when smoothly with Ed Chen who was also great to work with and very accommodating. Overall, from start to finish it was an awesome experience at Quality! Great Dealership!

We choose this dealer because we've had some pretty bad customer service. Upon walking in the door we knew we were going to be treated better. Ralph greeted us as soon as we walked in and was awesome and patient as we looked at and tested several cars.But we can't stop there, ultimately it was everyone in the dealership; all were friendly, it just felt like a family atmosphere, talking and joking.... Visited many dealerships over last several weeks looking to replace my Saturn VUE SUV. All sales people were very friendly upfront but when I presented KBB Fair Purchase price of my trade-in/new vehicle purchase - everything changed. This was not the case at Quality Subaru - experience from start to finish was fantastic. Purchased vehicle at a price that was spot on to KBB. Also while waiting to pick up my new SUV (Forester) - received a free lunch. Great experience, friendly & knowledgeable staff and great car.

Our salesman was Ralph Aquino and he was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. We went into the dealership not knowing which Subaru would best fit our needs, Ralph was so nice letting us look at all the different models of cars and even let us put our stroller in the trunks of the cars to see which would fit our stroller best. At one point during our visit I needed to feed our newborn and he was so considerate, he gave me an empty office to nurse in! Ralph really understood our needs and even took the time to show me his car so I could see what the different upgrades in the Outback looked like. If they didn't have the car we wanted on lot he was happy to order one for us. Ralph made us feel confident the Outback would fit our growing family needs and also handle the CT weather better than my car at the time. Ralph gave us a great price on our trade-in and an awesome price for our Outback. On picking up our new car, Ralph explained all the features, got me all set up and even called to follow up a few weeks later to see how we are liking our car and if we had any questions! We also met Chad Esposito, he was friendly and helpful. He chatted with us and was also available to answer any questions.The sales manager, Mike Ward, was awesome. Mike explained all the paperwork I was signing clearly and concisely. While I was finishing up paperwork, my newborn started fussing badly and Mike offered to pick him up and he was able to keep my baby calm and entertained, it was so sweet!I'm really happy with our purchase and everyone at the dealership went above and beyond to make sure we were happy!

I purchased my car at Schaller Dealership ,but the car was originally from Quality Subaru , so we went to Quality Subaru and had them install side window deflectors on my car and the person who installed them chipped the paint and a scrap mark from the installation. When my husband went and showed the service manager , he said they did not do it. You could tell that a tool fell from the roof and chipped the paint and left a scuff mark. It was on the passenger side . I keep this car in the garage and look over the car everyday since I bought it. They did give us touch up paint. Luckily my husband has the experience to touch up the spot since he was a certified body tech and mechanic. I would have liked validation that this happened at the service dept. I know stuff happens sometimes, but they kept saying it did not happen there.
