i had an issue with the car i shouldn't have had after just four years but apparently it was repaired for about a third of the cost, last chevy i'll ever buy however, too many repair issues with them. i guess my toyotas have spoiled me.

The refurbished operation seems to have also changed the focus of management and what an improvement. It is better both when it comes to service prices and service inclusions that makes them a great alternative when it comes to something as simple as an oil change.

I have never experienced the level of professionalism, courtesy, and competence, from any dealership, anywhere. I purchased a 2009 suburban. I should have read the carfax. It had been in 3 accidents of which i was not informed of. After driving it 120 miles home the left front caliper started seizing up. 4 days later the transmission went out. Thats 340 miles from purchase. I dont even have the plate yet. Now it sits at quality transmission on north st. No offer to even help with the 1900 dollar bill .Beware.

The customer service agents do not seem to know how to use their phone to keep their customers informed of the status of their repairs. I turned my vehicle in with a pre diagnosed problem and once they re diagnosed the problem I was informed of what parts were needed. I called the next morning to ask when the parts might be available, I left my name and phone number on the attendants Jaukeen's phone. Receiving no phone call that day I called the next day to see about progress with the same results, later that day I called to see about the arrival of parts to fix my car, but again no return call. My service assistant was told several times, and my phone number on a sticky note was put on his monitor, and still no phone call. finally I called the third day to check on a courtesy or rental vehicle, and my service rep answered the phone. I was then informed that my car would be ready in 30 minutes. I suggest that my service assistant, be retrained on keeping his customers informed, or at least on how to use his phone.

Buying a new car can be a very stressful experience, but not if you buy a car from Marc DeCamp ! This was truly amazing ! I never even left my home ! Marc DeCamp did absolutely everything for me and it was done over the phone ! I think it took a total of 3-4 days . My car was even delivered to my home and a driver took my car back with him for a trade in. I still cant believe how quickly and professionally this was done. Never have I been treated with such respect and kindness by any kind of business in my life. I have been driving my new car for three weeks now and just love it. The people that I have told about my experience are in awe and are planning to buy there next car from Marc in this fashion. The people that have seen it or road in it cant believe what a great deal Marc was able to get me. Robert Corbett of Preferred Chevy did a great job finding me a used truck. Like most people I dread going on to a car lot knowing that I will be harassed by an aggressive salesman. I was pleasantly surprised by Robert. He has a friendly personality. He is ambitious and worked hard. He was always available for my questions but never seemed pushy or aggressive. He asked questions in a manor that made me confident that he really wanted to know what I was looking for rather than looking for a way to push me into something they already had. My grandson was with me most of the time and Robert made him feel welcome too. I had several must haves that made it a difficult truck to find. It took some time but Robert did not give up. He was as quick to greet me and as friendly on my last visit as he was the first. Even after the sale he continued to work with the same ambition to fulfill the requests I made during our negotiations. I have and will continue to recommend him and Preferred to friends.

Just bought my next vehicle from Preferred Chevrolet in Grand Haven, the same place I bought my last car six years ago and traded in for the new SUV. I have to say that BEN BATTAGLIA took special care through the whole process of me changing my mind once or twice on what I really needed and wanted in a vehicle. And then finishing out the sale of my new 2016 Equinox! He made sure that I knew all there was to know about the car before I drove away. He is your man if you need a new car! Great response from Tyler and Bryan -salesperson and sales manager regarding the vehicle I was looking for. It was ready for inspection and test drive when I arrived (85-90 mile from home). Bryan even took the time to show me how to remove the navigation computer glitch on my own car I drove in with, but not trading in. Clear explanation of service, cost, financial options.

Ryan Myers put me into a beautiful new Equinox, and the experience was absolutely top notch. The receptionist was very personable and friendly, Nathan delivered a bottle of water to me, and then I sat down with Ryan and from there things continued to go beautifully... he did an absolutely great job from beginning to end. He even gave me a tutorial on how everything worked inside the car, which I needed because I was coming out of a 2000 Blazer, which I had happily driven for 13 years. By the way, I was very happy with the trade-in deal that they gave me, as well. Dave made the actual paperwork part of the deal very pleasant as well. We keep coming back to Preferred Chevrolet Buick GMC because of the consistent expertise of the sales and service staff and the courteous manner in which they always treat us. Preferred is a well-run organization. Our most recent experience was yesterday, April 30, 2015, when we leased a 2015 Buick Enclave. We worked with Ryan Myers in sales whose performance is truly exemplary both as a sales-professional and how he represents Preferred. He listens to his customers, works hard to provide what they want and does so in a very timely and pleasant manner. This is the second vehicle in a row Ryan has helped us with. And I am already looking ahead to number three based upon Ryan's performance. Our experience yesterday was perfect. The Enclave we wanted was parked attractively in front of the dealership as we arrived starting off our experience on a very positive note. Ryan was there to greet us, point out a few key features and then accommodate our request for a brief test drive. Ryan then smoothly guided us through the initial paper work and turned us over to Darryl Shuss the finance manager who similarly provided us with a smooth and nice experience. Ryan then escorted us back to our new Enclave where he gave us with a complete overview of the Enclave's features and performance. Our overall experience really could not have gone any better. Thanks Ryan. And one more item worth mentioning is that I have all of our service done at Preferred for the same reason. The service staff is hard to beat. John & his staff are great to work with and the maintenance is always right on, which provides a sense of comfort and security when driving.

2009 Pontiac G6. Oil change. I asked the service department to check the radiator coolant to see if it needs to be changed. They told me that the coolant looks good & doesn't need changing at this time. I really appreciate this type of honesty. Some businesses could have told me that it needs changing & I probably would have agreed because I can't remember the last time it was changed. I really respect your service department because they didn't recommend things that my car doesn't need yet. That is what I call being a good community minded business that puts the customers first. I just recently purchased my first GM product with a 2015 GMC Sierra. I believe this was made possible by the excellent customer service at Preferred Chevrolet/Buick/GMC. I initially contacted the dealership over the weekend and was contacted first thing Monday morning clarifying what I was looking for. Due to business commitments, I was not available to stop in Monday or talk on the phone. Mark Reese was extremely helpful, asking questions and giving me options all over email without hesitation. Since Mark was able to work around my schedule without any grief, we were able to get most of the upfront questions answered throughout Monday allowing for me to go in Tuesday and finalize the deal! When I arrived at the dealership I met with Mark and his fellow salesman Campbell Stephenson who also was very helpful. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this transaction was from start to end. Robert Corbet was my salesman, and did a fine job of getting us through the process. I was helping parents that had moved from out of state find a vehicle, and he was very helpful. My wife and I traded our 2007 Saturn Vue Hybrid in and bought a 2008 Saturn view with substantially less mileage on it. From the time we first met Robert Corbett we felt comfortable dealing with him. Robert was easy to talk with. He answered our questions when he could and if he couldn't he sought out the answers from someone who could. When you are dealing with Robert you know that he says what he means and means what he says. This was very apparent when we encountered a problem with the brakes a few days after buying the car. We were charged for about half the repairs, which I felt was wrong. When I called Robert about it he agreed and got us a refund. He stood by his word to handle any problems we might have. We had been looking for certain minivan for quite some time. Finally found one at Preferred Chevrolet. We dealt with Andrew Koss over the phone for a few days because we live about 4 hours away. Wanted to make sure this was the van we wanted before we made the drive. He was extremely helpful, bending over backwards to help answer questions and meet our needs. My wife and I purchased a 2004 Mercedes Benz e320 wagon 4 matic from preferred GMC. The salesman was kind and made us feel comfortable and we trusted him. The are drove well, had some minor problems but manageable. He told us the car was clean and the autocheck concurred. We were confident that a dealer like preferred wouldn't screw us. He said that any car over 100K we do not check and give no warranty. I should have known that was the red flag. We were wrong. 3 days after the purchase I took it to my mechanic and he said you require two new front axles, a new ball joint and the air conditioner was leaking freon and the seal needed replacement. I was so embarrassed and defeated that I had been taken advantage of. The sales staff said we sold it "As Is" and you should have known that these cars need repair. I said I trusted them to sell me a good working car. They said they'd get back to me. They didn't so I called the General Manager, Bob. He said "I'll buy the car back from you". I said we love the car but are disappointed they deceived us. He said that a car that age will have those problems. I said why pass it on to me?I made an appointment to return the car but could not get a ride back from 2.5 hours away. I just decided to give up and accept the fact that preferred auto group in grand haven screwed me. I talk to the GM again and he said we offered to buy it back and I could have gotten you back home. This is their tactic, to tell you things after the fact. That is shady and not forthcoming. I love the car and it is perfect for my family of 4 kids and would rather have a car without these problems. The offer to buy back the car is the easy way out and they should have looked it over and fixed it first before selling it to me. Buyer beware please dont get screwed like we did.

We were looking for a used Traverse with low miles. We were on our way from Muskegon to the Holland Chevrolet dealer and noticed the Chevy dealer as we passed though Grand Haven. As we stopped in their used car lot, Robert Corbett met us, showed us a few used Traverses. We test drove one also. Robert listened to what we looking for in terms of color and low miles. He worked well with his sales manager to find us just what we were looking for. Robert gave us great personal attention and was very helpful in helping resolve a few service issues with the tires. Purchased a vehicle on 7/9/2014 from this location. Sold to me as a certified Pre-Owned, and now they are claiming that the vehicle was not certified and will cover none of the repairs. I have filed a Better Business Bureau complaint. I have basically been told that because I purchased the vehicle through the Grand Haven Location instead of the Muskegon location, that the Certification was voided. I was lied to and would never recommend this business to anyone else. Have had to have the vehicle back for brake problems, transmission problems and a bad starter all within the first 2 months. Run, don't walk away from this place!

We brought our Malibu in for a oil change, The staff greeted us friendly, they got our car in right away. They invited us to coffee or water, and a comfortable place to wait. I was wandering in the used car lot when an extremely nice sales person approached me. We went into the show room and he talked at length about buying vs. leasing. Although I had leased years ago, there have been many changes to the leasing process. I was explained everything in detail , much to my liking and am now the proud owner of a 2014 Chev. Cruze which I love. The people at the dealership are very personable and I felt at home there. I was explained everything in detail and liked the card i recd. The Serius Radio and OnStar system are a plus. They were set up by my sales person and again explained in detail. All in all I would rate this dealership a 10 out of a possible 10.

Ok repairs, older facility but they love to sell your name and phone number. I have gotten calls for 18months trying to sell me extended warranties, several calls a day sometimes day after day. I stopped going there cause it ticked me off and they wouldn't take me off their list. It's been over a year my car is 30thou mile over warranty but I still get calls several times a week. Pain in the u know what's.

I bought a truck on one of those crazy snowy days this year. While the weather was not good, my salesman, Jerry still took the time to take care of the details to make my buying experience a good one. Every task that he had to do for me had added work because of the weather. I do like the truck that I ended up buying so I would say that our conversations must have been successful in finding the right deal for me.


I will definitely buy my next vehicle here again!

This was the easiest buying a car experience I've ever had. My salesman was Robert Corbett and he worked hard to find me the vehicle with the long list of options I requested. I literally gave them the keys to my trade in Traverse and walked away with my newer Traverse. All done in about 30 minutes! Best experience ever! Thank You Robert!

I got a 2011 GMC Acadia through this dealership and absolutely love the vehicle. Campbell went above and beyond to make my buying experience a great one. He picked me up at my house so I wouldn't have to figure out how to get my old car home. Walked me through all the new electronics on my new GMC Acadia. Set up my On-Star. He called me after a few days to see if I had any questions about my new vehicle. My car was running cold, so they investigated the problem and fixed it that day. They worked right up until closing to finish my car so I could have it back sooner. They were very friendly, quick service, and explained everything thoroughly. Very pleased~!!

Waiting area and check out could be improved. I heard that renovation is being planned. This may help. Peter Robinson provided excellent representation for your dealership. Bobby Best was very personable and customer oriented. I would give both individuals an "excellent".

The Service dept was very friendly and helpful. I had a probem with my truck and they got me right in and were quick on the repair. They offere to take me someplace if I needed to go, I just stayed at the dealership was just easier with the type of repair being done.
