A great buying experience from 2000 miles away.

I recently bought a second-home in California and needed a car. I already own a 2015 Porsche Macan S in Chicago and I wanted another. I was able to find a Macan via their website and a few emails and phone calls later I bought the car I wanted. In the buying process, Giovanni actually took a video of the car and send it me. That was a nice touch, and the car looked great. Although this may not be your typical buying experience, the tag-team of Giovanni and Taylor made me feel comfortable buying a car from 2000 miles away.

My Recent Service Experience

First of all, I want to commend Service Manager, David Barron for the hard work, due diligence, and outstanding customer service shown while working with my extended warranty company to approve and pay for the replacement of my transmission (2009 Porsche Carrera S); which I understand can be like pulling crocodile teeth. I would give Walter's Porsche a 5 star rating, however (beyond David's control), prior to the replacement of the transmission, a recommendation was made by the Porsche factory to replace a sensor located in the transmission. The sensor was replaced but did not correct the problem. The issue I have is: I do not agree with Walter's Porsche service policy that, if the Porsche factory makes a recommendation to repair/replace a part on your vehicle, based on fault codes displayed during the diagnostic, and mechanic's recommendation; and the customer gives consent based on that recommendation. If the repair/part replacement does not correct the issue, the customer (or the extended warranty company) is required to pay for the part and labor for an obvious misdiagnosis. Bottom-line, customers are not Subject Matter Experts when it comes to repairs on today's vehicles. That is the responsibility of car manufactures and mechanics. With the technology that Porsche prides themselves for having, one would think they could do a better job with determining exactly what is wrong with their vehicles, rather than the old "crap shoot" method of throwing something up against the wall to see if it sticks. Again, I commend David for doing his best to discount the part and labor and explaining how the process works; but at the end of the day, I was still left with footing the bill for a misdiagnosed repair performed by Walter's Porsche and recommended by the Porsche factory.

Friendly service

My wife and I were looking for a new car. She is very particular and Walter's Porsche had the car listed on their site. I inquired about the car online and I immediately received a response letting me know the car was available. A few minutes later I received a video of the car from Ryan! It was nice seeing the walk through so fast. We checked the car out the next morning and decided to purchase. We bought our first Cayenne back in 2007. We reached a point where it was time to buy another one, although we weren't in the best position to do so due to a recent credit hiccup. I felt sheepish about my attempt to purchase this new vehicle. Tony went to bat for us with the finance manager Jeff Hudson, who went above and beyond to find a lender to approve us. Jeff's actions of taking that extra step and going above and beyond what he had to will never be forgotten. His assistance was a blessing and took us by surprise. That couldn't be further from the truth at Riverside's Walter's Porsche. I would prefer to work with an easy going professional 100 times over a pretentious one. Porsche purchase

My wife and I recently purchased a Porsche Cayenne S from Walter's Porsche in Riverside, CA, and I can't say enough about how excellent an experience it was. Everyone was completely accommodating and helpful. In particular Giovanni Bucci, our salesman, went out of his way to make sure we totally understood everything both in the purchase and the function of the vehicle. This was particularly true when we went back a week later and he went through all of the different functions of the car to make sure we completely understood how the vehicle operates. I also had an excellent experience with Larry Palmer, when I took the car back to have the protective coatings and window tint applied. Again the only word that I can think to describe my experience is: EXCELLENT.

Arrived in this first class facility and met with Tony Nguyen who let me drive my 2013 Cab S. Car did the sales job, Tony facilitated. Told Tony needed to have wife approval. Tony arranged for me to meet with Taylor Ferguson, his associate, next day. Taylor made it all easy. Beautiful facility. Painless process (I was cleared for the purchase before I drove to the dealership). Met Walter, the owner, and saw others who are involved in sponsoring the Orange Coast Porsche Club (thank you). Easy Transaction, Fantastic Experience

We purchased our 3rd Porsche from Bob McDonald at Walters, now Porsche Riverside.The transaction was simple. We scanned and emailed all of our documents while on vacation.Bob stayed late the night we got home from our trip and had all the paperwork ready when we arrived for delivery at the Dealership. 10,000 mile service experience

I was very pleased with the how professional Mike Barcelona was to me from the moment I arrived early morning, until I picked up my 2016 Panamera in the evening. Mike made sure that he understood exactly what was needed and at the end of the day he went over line by line what was done to my car.I also enjoyed the loaner car. It was clean and was a pleasure to drive.As a footnote, I drive all the way out from La Quinta (about 90 miles) to this dealership. They are easier to to deal with and I find that their prices, although not inexpensive, are far better than the local dealership. They are worth the extra effort. The staff, inclusive of sales (Ryan), service, and parts are all very well trained in customer service.

i was in the market for my first Porsche (Panamera). I was looking for a low mileage certified pre-owned model that had all the necessary trimmings. There are 4 or 5 Porsche dealers in between where I liveSan Diego and Walter's Porsche, but they had a vehicle which met my criteria. i chose to drive the 80 miles to check out this Panamera first before heading to two other dealers later in the week. however, before I even got in the car to drive to Walter's Porsche in Riverside, Tony Nguyen (Brand Ambassador, aka, sales associate) engaged with me both by email and by phone to answer my questions and provide information, and he did in a very professional, warm and transparent manner. By the time I got to the dealer, I was treated first class. 3 hours later, I was driving home with a beautiful Panamera instead of going to the other dealers. Thanks Tony, thank you Walter's Porsche. I would buy again and again from these professionals.

Another great experience

Came back to walters to pick up our third cayenne from them. Our usual salesman had moved so we were introduced to Gio. He was very professional and courteous the entire time and was very mindful of our time since we did not want to spend all day at the dealership trying to strike a deal. They had a beautiful 2017 cayenne that we decided on and he went right to work to get the deal done. The sales experience as well as the post-sales follow up was great and he made sure we were completely satisfied with everything on the car.

Always a good experience at Walter's.

When it came time to review keeping up the lease on our 911 or switching out to something different they were very accommodating. Everyone, from Talyor to Gio to Adam, Larry and Frank bent over backward and stayed late so that we could get the car we wanted: a nice black Cayenne with beautiful brown leather everywhere. And when I noticed a few swirls they provided us with a detailing job that now is the glassiest black you've ever seen. They hand off tasks very well and even Tony quickly helped me get the WiFi working. Gio followed through and made sure everything turned out ok. For these reasons and more I keep coming back to Walter's to satisfy my Porsche hunger.

Walters Porsche - Giovanni Bucci

My experience at this dealership was phenomenal. My salesperson, Giovanni Bucci, was not only knowledgeable on the brand, but extremely accommodating and easy to work with. I was able to do the deal and take care of all the paperwork via the phone and email before I picked up the car, which saved me much time. Once there, is was less than 30 minutes to sign the final documents and get my overview of all the cars controls, options, etc. The welcoming and friendly attitudes of everyone I met here was a pleasant change compared to the lack of interest and assistance that met me at the dealership nearer my home in south Orange County where I purchased my last vehicle. Other Porsche dealers in my area told me there are no deals to be had on these cars, yet I got one here. This was my first purchase here, and it wont be my last!

I had been in the market for an automobile and considered Porsche as I had owned two of them in my lifetime. I shopped at five different dealerships with Riverside being number 6. Most of the other dealerships had inadequate knowledge of the vehicle. Knew no history of the development of the vehicle and were not sure of their inventory. I was not offered an opportunity to drive the vehicle at any dealership until I visited Riverside.I happened to call back Bob McDonald and request a certain color scheme. After researching availability He informed me that there may be a car at the Riverside facility that I would be interested in looking at. I returned and the rest is history.

No Substitute for Experience

This is my first Porsche (Panamera), and first experience with Walters Porsche. From my first phone call to driving my new car off the lot I was met with professionalism, courtesy, knowledge, and appriciation. In a country and world that has gone away from customer service Tony Nguyen, along with his managers Frank & Jeff have made me feel extremely welcome and catered to... Very refreshing being that my daily wardrobe consists of cargo shorts and a pull over. I was treated with respect and seriousness. Although I would not use it Tony gave me his cell number to call him any time at work or not with any question or concern... not that anyone could have a concern with this establishment or crew. Glad I stopped in !!

I had visited my daughter's family in Long Beach and on my way home to Rancho Mirage I saw the "one week old" Walter's Porsche store in Riverside just off of US 91. At the time, I was driving my Panamera, but I had a Bentley Continental GT I wanted to trade. I was met by Bob McDonald who later in the week, upon my return, guided me flawlessly through the process of trading in my Bentley and purchasing a spanking new Porsche Boxter 718. Bob , Jonathon Bolton, John Beech, and Adam Avalos all bent over backwards to make the 718 purchase as seamless and efficient as possible. Bob was especially helpful "setting up" the 718 and giving me a thorough and helpful briefing on "the bells and whistles" on the car. This was my fifth Porsche, but first purchased from Walters. I could not have been more pleased with the service and attention I got from everyone at the dealership.

Ryan was very helpful during my search of a CPO 911 turbo. He was highly knowledgable of the car and very accommodating during the test drive. I called Walters Porsche and by luck of the draw, Tony Nyguen answered the call. I was interested in a Porsche listed on Autotrader. I drove up with the intention of just listening to the premium Bose surround sound. Tony and I scheduled an appointment and just as promised, Tony had the vehicle up front and ready to drive. Tony's knowledge of Porsche was impressive and he actually listened to my comments. He's a car guy and was very easy and professional to work with. Tony conducted complete instructions on all options/equipment. I turned on the car, turned up the stereo and was hooked/sold/gone. The test drive was a combination of street and highway which is imperative for a high performance car. I purchased the car on the spot. Tony made the process easy and financing was excellent. The only challenge was management's surprisingly low offer on my trade in. I literally drove one mile and received 5K more within 15 minutes. The most unexacting phone call came in Friday night asking if i'm still looking for a new White GT4. Taylor Ferguson, Brand Ambassador at Walter's Porsche was following up on a conversation I had with him earlier in the week where unfortunately, the car I had wanted from them was sold. This is a top drawer shop. First of all absolutely no pressure. I worked with Giovanni and his sales managers Pete and Frank. Giovanni supplied all of the information that I needed at the right time. I was picking between two cars a TT and a TTS. They worked with me on my trade and financing. Every one in the store is attentive. Other salesmen would come by to ask if I needed anything. Other places salesmen might be jealous about someone making a deal. Not here, I truly appreciated the atmosphere. After sale support has been great. Everything you could ask for and more

My wife and I had been looking for another 911 to drive so we would not have to put as many miles on our 1965 911. Our search finally ended up at Walters Porsche, a supporter of the Orange Coast PCA. We had a few meetings with Giovanni and a lot of e-mails and phone calls in the process to find the car that we wanted. During this process, we had a chance to drive the new 2017 911 and were considering ordering one built to exactly what we had been looking for in a certified preowned vehicle. Giovanni helped us understand all the new advances and benefits of the new 911 compared to earlier certified preowned offerings. We normally keep the vehicles we purchase for a number of years, so purchasing a 2017 with all the new state of the art improvements would be a big plus. During the following week, while we were weighing the extra time it would take to order a new 911, Giovanni and I talked about a 911 that had just arrived, which had most of the options we were considering. We drove down to see the car a few hours later, took a drive and loved the car. The interior of the car was exactly what we had been looking for and it had very low mileage and in perfect condition inside and out. It was exactly like Giovanni described over the phone. We really appreciated all the time that Giovanni spent with us going over the options list that we were looking for in a 911 and helping us to find the car we decided to purchase. On that day we were also able to look at and drive a 2017 again and also get more questions answered by Tim. Giovanni and Tim made a great team answering all our questions about ordering a new vehicle and all the options on the certified 911. During the entire time there was no pressure to make a decision one way or the other. This is what we found on every visit we had at Walters. Getting the papers signed and adding a couple of options was also a pleasure working with Jay. He arranged the additional work for the options that we wanted with their Service department and kept us informed as to when the work would be completed. We were pleasantly surprised when we got a call from Giovanni, informing us that they were able to get the additional work done ahead of their promise date, which allowed us to enjoy the car over the weekend. I would also like to mention that Giovanni also entered a part order request through their parts department when I mentioned that I was looking for a part for my 1965 911. He checked to see if it was available, provided a promise date when it would be available to pick up and gave me a call when it arrived. From my experience, it appears that there is a lot of coordination between the Sale, Parts and Service departments resulting in obtaining exactly what you wanted and when promised. A few days after we picked up the car we received an e-mail from Giovanni and later a phone call, checking in to see if we had any further questions and to make sure that we were happy with everything. This was the first time I have ever had a call back from a dealer making sure that I was happy after purchasing a vehicle. All the people we met at Walter's Porsche including Giovanni, Tim, Pete, Ed, and Jay made my wife and I feel as if we were at a gathering of friends talking about cars. Very enjoyable.

Expectations Exceeded!!

Even though i live over an hour away from riverside porsche, I decided to forgoe my local dealers and do business with them because of their stellar reputation. I consider myself a serious driving enthusiast, with many hours driving fast on race tracks, and recently ordered and purchased a 2016 Cayman S from Walter's Porsche.I definitely recommend Walter's Porsche. My local Porsche mechanic came across an unusual issue, but referred me to Walter's since they have a reputation of fixing those things no other Porsche dealers can.Domenico Macchia was our Service Advisor and took his time listening to our issues, and kept us abreast of the progress. He also made some excellent cosmetic recommendations which obviously excited the car owner, my wife. The car was returned in more than excellent condition, in the time promised, and Domenico was on top of the status.The only negative was that someone had run down the battery, so when I went to take it home it needed to be jumped. Domenico to his credit knowing that this was my wifes car suggested that he keep it overnight to ensure it was stable. Provided us a loaner car, and would drive out my wifes car where we are at to swap vehicles. Because the car was not checked out before returning to me I am taking away a quality star.Overall, a great experience, and the intangible benefits of having a caring Service Adviser, left me with a confidence that they really care about their customers.

Macan S Purchase

Went to Walter's Porsche to look at a Macan S and was met by Tony N. He's a car guy and was very easy and professional to work with. Tony provided me all A's to my Q's. Went for a test drive and kicked around the tires and the car was immaculate, clean, and definitely show piece ready for a used car. Eventually bought the car and Tony made the process easy. Only negative would probably be the time it took to complete the transaction but not Tony's fault but more of a management issue---had to wait in line for finance. Management needs more finance guys. But overall would definitely recommend Walter's Porsche and especially Tony.

After working with Bob McDonald for several weeks my wife and I were able to purchase the Macan S of her dreams. Macan S Purchase

Went to Walter's Porsche to look at a Macan S and was met by Tony N. at the dealership. The customer service by Tony was exceptional. The dealership was clean and showcased some beautiful cars, but a little small for a dealership. That being said, had what I wanted. No pressure, easy to deal with, and went beyond his time to provide me a really good buying experience. Tony is a car guy and knows and understands his cars. After looking it over and doing the typical test drive and Q and As, decided to buy it. Tony even stayed beyond his scheduled hours and showed me the car's electronics and helped me learn the programming. Only thing that could be improved would be time efficiency to purchase the car. But that's not Tony's fault, but more of a function for management. We had to wait for others in finance. Overall would definitely recommend Tony and the dealership to purchase your next Porsche.

Upgrade from Boxster to 911 Carrera

I had my boxster serviced in this dealership about a month ago and i appreciated their customer service and the job done on my care. The way car buying should be . . .

Posting customer feedback is not something I normally take the time to do, but I feel compelled to write after unsuccessfully trying to get an allocation on a high demand/limited production car from other Porsche dealers in Orange and Los Angeles counties, only to have Walter's Porsche secure a car for me. The whole buying experience - from initially getting an allocation, placing a deposit, specifying the build of the car, tracking the status of the car over a period of months as it was being built, and ultimately taking delivery - was wonderful. I worked most closely with Taylor Ferguson and because of the special nature of my car, it took close to a year before the car arrived. Therefore, I had a chance to work very closely with Taylor over this extended period of time and was constantly impressed with his professionalism. He was always very prompt in responding to my calls, emails and texts. Not once did I ever have to "hound" him to get a response or to get information on the status of my car. Because of certain options I ordered on my car which were in limited supply, Taylor had to constantly stay abreast of parts availability which required that he monitor internal Porsche communications and memos so as to be able to best advise me on the timing of my order. What I'm trying to convey is that mine was not your ordinary car buying experience where you walk in, see something you like on the showroom floor, and drive it off the lot. Taylor had to really work for this sale to make it happen and he did so in the most courteous and friendly manner possible. If you're as anal about your cars as I am, and if you plan to order a car to your specific build, I highly suggest you seek out Taylor's assistance. I certainly plan to do so when I'm in the market for my next car.Finally, let me say that there is a certain "attitude" you get at many So Cal Porsche dealers -- those that have shopped and bought Porsches in the past know exactly what I'm talking about. How refreshing not to experience any of that "attitude" at Walter's Porsche. In my case there was no game playing, no shenanigans, no broken promises, and no phony-baloney platitudes - just straight talk, professional service, and friendly folks. I could be wrong on this, but I'm guessing because of this dealer's location they feel they have to try a little harder, be a little more customer-centric, and go the extra mile to earn your business. I certainly got that sense from Taylor and Tony Nguyen in Sales, Filomena Gina Powers in Finance, and Richard Dorman in the Parts Department.

I went to Beverly Hills and I left not only because they didn't really have the car I was looking for but the place had a bad vibe. When I showed up to Walters, I felt immediately at home. These guys know the definition of customer service. Taylor made the sale smooth, while Ryan helped to understand the car, and Filomena really made the finance part enjoyable and fast. Fantastic Porsche Experience

My experience at Walters Porsche was nothing short of Fantastic! I was lucky enough to have secured an Allocation for my GT4 with Bob McDonald. This is my first Porsche and he made the experience very special. He was very attentive and helped guide me through the process as I specced out the vehicle just the way I wanted. Bob offered very knowledgable suggestions and insight to ensure I built the car exactly the way I wanted and needed. Bob kept me apprised every step of the way and made sure I knew exactly where along the build process my vehicle was. When time came to take delivery of my vehicle both Bob and Filomena were more than accommodating. I just purchased my first Porsche Cayman and I really had a great experience! Ryan DeCaprio helped me and my husband to customize/build my car and also provided an excellent customer service for keeping us with the most updates on the status of Cayman while we had to wait approximately 3 months for it to be ready. The best I have experienced!

I have traded cars every 2 or 3 years for the last 25 years. This is the best experience I have ever had. After test driving a number of brands, I decided on the Porsche model. I called the dealership and got Tony He emailed me the inventory with pictures and how they were equipped . Once I picked out the car I wanted, I told him the terms I needed. In 5 minutes he got back to me with a very good price....no hassle. The whole process took about 15 minutes. Soooo easy!! I went to the dealership and in no time the docs were ready and signed, the car was ready and waiting and Tony was very, very thorough and courteous in showing us all the features etc, on the vehicle. Great fun! I will be going back.

Absolute top notch five star service from beginning to end. To start with Walters Porsche was by far the most aggressive in terms of pricing. I saved a ton of money by making the drive to Walters. Great experience buying my GTS at Walter's.

Just purchased a GTS from Giovanni and Michael at Walter's and had a great experience. My car was delayed at the port but Giovanni provided me with regular updates on the status of my car and Michael gave me a nice test drive with the vehicles I was interested in. When I requested a paint meter check on the car when it came in, Giovanni sent me photos of each panel with the paint meter reading to assure me everything was in order. The delivery was smooth as could be and was gone in less than two hours. Giovanni took the time to make sure all the controls were understood and my phone was connected to the PCM. Certainly worth the trip to Riverside after getting the runaround with a lot of the LA County dealers, which I won't name! This is my 2nd Porche from Walter's Porche, and I always go to Tim Churchill to handle my transactions. Not only are Porches great cars, but the customer service and attention that I receive from Tim is invaluable, which is why I went to Walter's Porche for my 2nd one. I got my 2015 Cayenne in March 2015, and then couldn't wait to get another one. So, in Feb 2016, I got my Carrera 4s. Both are great vehicles for my specific needs. One is a daily driver and the other is a weekend toy. If you are in the market for great vehicles, and happen to entertain the idea of getting a Porche, give Walter's a try. awesome 911 Experience

I was scheduled to bring my Cayman for return lease car chech up and was hosted by Tim Churchill, Although my lease was not due yet, but Mr. Churchill advised me I should get the 911 Carrera now as there was not many cars available with the color I want. I took his advise and renewal the new lease with my dream car. With Walter Porsche's great helped I was able to received my February payment refund in timely manner. I popped in on Saturday for a test drive and was greeted by Ryan DeCaprio. I enjoy driving the Porsche Brand. I recently took my Cayenne in for service and had been thinking about trading in my Boxster, which I loved. I worked with Bob McDonald, who helped me on lease my Cayenne. Bob was very patient as I really did not know whether I wanted to part with my Boxster. After several test drives and many days of considering my options, I called Bob to arrange for another test drive. The only day I had was his day off. He graciously offered to come in just for me so I could test drive.Because I was not prepared to make a purchase that day, I did not bring I with me all the necessary items I needed to trade in my Boxster.He went the extra mile and came to my home some 40 min. away to get those items.Usually buying a car is a long, tedious process, however that was not the case at Walter's. I think very highly of them and particularly appreciate Bob's dedication.

Ryan was polite, courteous, patient, and genuinely cared to help me find what I have been looking for. Though I did not find the car I wanted, he was very professional and took it upon himself to answer all of my inquiries and find the car for me. I highly recommend working with him and the staff at Walter's Porsche.

The process was as painless as they could make it. From start to finish the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and made sure to explain everything in detail.I have been looking at the Panamera for a few years and had always heard great things about Walter's.The online pictures and info on the car was accurate to the letter!!The gave me top dollar for my trade-in too!!! WOW!!!! So impressed with these guys!!!I am super happy with the car, people and experience overall!!!!

Great experience

I stopped at this dealership to look at some Carreras. I wasn't prepared to buy one. Giovanni the sales agent walked up to me and offered help. This is not the case at any Porsche Dealer. He found the car I liked and let me test drive it. Pete the sales manager gave me a deal I couldn't resist. So I drove off with a beautiful car the same day. They have great inventory. I do recommend them to any one who love Porsches. They will make your dream come true.

Great selection of used 911's.

911's have so many options. Bob was very helpful in letting me figure out which 911 was right for me. I thought I wanted another manual but after driving both I realized the PDK in the 911 was very different than my last Panamera. The was no sales pressure to buy and the staff always is welcoming.
