Boxster Fluid Leak!!!

Took my Boxster S into the San Diego dealer to have me leak investigated. My advisor Marcie Mernik was very attentive, provided a loaner vehicle, at set my mind at ease regarding the situation. Everyone in the service department, as well as the overall dealership were very professional, friendly, and concerned about my vehicle. In the end the mechanic assured me that the vehicle was not leaking any fluids and the situation was the result of a failure to cleanup around the oil pan during a previous oil change at another dealership. Great job by the staff at San Diego Porsche!!! Highly recommended.

I took my Diesel Cayenne into Porsche of San Diego for the second time - just an oil change.My advisor Les was terrific! Les was very helpful and called me as soon as my car was ready. Les even offered to bring my car back to me at work. Beautiful dealership- very helpful and friendly staff.

Vacation Struggle

I lost my radiator in our new Macan S on our recent trip to San Diego. I had the car towed into Porsche Sand Diego and met Ryan Breshears. The service I received in getting the repair timely accomplished before we had drive back to Phoenix was extraordinary. This was out of pocket, and I would say worth every penny.

One step beyond

It's one thing to offer a great facility, another to go the extra mile. We just purchased a Carrera convertible from Porsche San Diego and had to bring it back for some additional items. We brought it in and noticed that one tire was starting to lose air. When we went to go pick it up, the additional work had been done, but the tire issue was not addressed. Hearing we were not happy, the owner stepped in and what followed was nothing short of 5 star. He apologized with such sincerity which was more than enough, but, instead of leaving it at that, knowing we hadn't eaten lunch, sent us to a most amazing place. The Rancho Valencia. WOW!.....that's all we could say.First of all, that the dealer owner got involved at all was just wonderful, but to go out of his way to treat us so well was truly magnificent. They replaced our tire free of charge in under 30 minutes and gave us an amazing lunch...No wonder why most of the Porsches on our block DON'T come from the dealer here in Carlsbad!! These guys nailed it! It's what a luxury experience is all about. From the sparkling clean showroom, to the sparkling clean bathrooms, to the amazing customer services. WOW....simply the best. We read the reviews on line and had to see for ourselves. We werent sure about color so we drove down from Laguna and truly enjoyed everything about the trip there. We bought a car, were in and out in less than 2hours. The Finance manager was great so was our sales rep. What a pleasure. its our first Porsche...but not our last...and definitely not our last from Porsche San Diego.

I bought my 2014 Cayman S from Pioneer Porsche. I placed a factory order to get exactly what I wanted. I placed my order before the 2014 cars were here. Julian made very good suggestions and tactfully insisted that I try some of the options on the new 911's. When the car arrived, the transaction went smoothly. I paid cash. Great service experiences with Les

I have dealt with Porsche of San Diego for more than 10 years. They have always been a great dealer but I have to compliment Les Lisenbee who has been my service advisor for the last couple of visits. You know how many dealers pester you to give them a good grade? They all want to be rated a "10" and they are not ashamed to beg or even demand such scores. That was certainly my experience with local BMW and Volvo dealers. On the other hand, Les just gives a "10" level of service as matter of course. He listens, gives good communication in return and takes your experience very much to heart. If all dealer service was this good dealer service departments would be much better regarded.

Just the right attention

Everyone at Porcshe of SD was most helpful. I purchased a Cayman S from Julian a year ago and when I decided to order a Macan I knew where to go. I felt very much at home throughout the process, have a high level of trust in Julian as well as all at PofSD.

Nice experience

I ordered and recently received my new Porsche Macan. Salesperson was Keith Hicks who was attentive, knowledgeable and courteous. Great Service

The Porsche dealership facilities were under construction for a period of time when I took my car in for service, affecting the service waiting area and the showroom. Therefore, I wasn't able to comment on the finished renovation. However, they did make acceptable temporary accommodations.

Best car buying experience

Worked with Julie to buy my custom-built Cayman. She worked with me to make sure that I got the exact car that I wanted, including giving me feedback on options that were a good choice and ones that were not. I made her work for it -- I think I changed my order 3 or 4 times in the first few weeks, but Julie was always right on top of it and always sent me the build sheet by email for approval and verification. She kept me informed over the 5 month process between order and delivery, and even gave some advice on finance strategy which I ended up following. Once the car was delivered, I think she sat with me in the car for at least 20 minutes making sure that I didn't leave the dealership until just about every control and button in the car had been demonstrated.Would recommend her services to anybody.

Les is The Best!

I can't speak for the dealership as they have not actually worked on our car, but Les Lisenbee is a great guy! The headlight bucket on my wife's Carerra had come loose and I didn't have access to the tool that us used to tighten the attaching mechanism. I stopped by the dealership yesterday to see if I needed to make an appointment for them to make the repair. After digging around the shop for a tool Les advised that I would need to make an appointment as he couldn't get his hands on the tool at that moment. After asking about the tool Les advised that it was part of the tool kit that should have come with the car. Les then opened the trunk and dug around the spare tire and found a tool kit that I didn't know existed. He then pulled out the tool and re-secured the headlight assembly. During the process of finding the tool kit Les also pointed out that our spare tire was just about out of air. Les is the Best!

Simply the best

After reading some of the online reviews I decided to visit Porsche of San Diego and Ms. Aquilino in particular. Although I have nothing against men, I seem to find that woman sales people are more willing to answer my questions with greater detail. She was marvelous! She made my experience even more exciting than I had hoped. My buddy bought a car there recently and had a similar experience, he's a gear head, and dealt with a gear headed salesman there, but she was just amazing. I've been dreaming about a Porsche my whole life and she made it great. After she went over all the buttons and gadgets she introduced me to the whole service team! She explained I was new to the brand. They were as excited as I was! What an incredible feeling, I really felt like I made the right choice. The dealership was not my first stop, but so happy it was my last. The reviews are SPOT ON. Julie was great!!! If you want no nonsense, and a great price without hours of haggling, no funny attitudes, or feeling like you may not know the difference between a 911 and a Carrera ( she taught me there was none) ask for Julie. She even called me twice since I bought it, to make sure I was enjoying it! I never had that before. Great place, awesome deal, sincere people. Make it YOUR last stop.

Leslie Lisenbee is the Best Service Advisor!

Les makes my life easier when my 911 needs little help. He's always friendly and make sure I have clean loaner car. He keeps me updated with phone calls when my car is in he's care. How the best prove it

Even though they are under an enormous renovation, they still go out of their way to take car of customers. I was comfortable, and content. I went to see a new Carrera, but my salesman showed me a "near new" one that was thousands less! I drove it home that day. What a feeling! I saved $11,000.00, and was just as happy. I will go back there always, and recommend all my friends and family.

Offering superior service starts with listening. I have had quality service done at a number of places in San Diego, but having someone really listen and directly address my concerns is sadly rare. What can I say, but this Porsche Dealer ROCKS!!!!!! First let me start off by telling about my BIG mistake I made before coming to San Diego Porsche. I had bought a Boxster from a another Dealership that claims they do a 138 point inspection on the vehicle, yeah right, the car's engine blew up less than a week. I was not a happy camper, but at least they refunded my money. My wife then drove me to San Diego Porsche, I was still not in a good mood and I had less than an hour before going to work. I was greeted by Daniel LEWIS and when I told him my story about my prior purchase and that I only had an hour before I had to be at work, the first thing he said, "lets get you into a loaner and we can worry later about getting you a car." that blew me always. I told Daniel that I wanted a 2011 to 2010 Boxster and Black on Black color combo. Daniel was able to find one and when we inspected it, Daniel even put it on the rack, so we could take a look under the car. Needless to say, I bought the Boxster and I am happy man again. I could go and on about how Daniel took care of me. Another thing the blew me away, was that when he was sitting up the garage door remote, he told me that if I had any problems with my garage door, he would be happy to come out to Eastlake and set the garage door setting on the garage opener for me. Like I said before, this place is all about customer service before, during and after the sale. If you need to but a Porsche, don't walk, but run and see Daniel LEWIS. Like my wife told Daniel, we will see you again for a next new car.

My thanks to Ryan and the entire service team in particular the technician that serviced my C4S. As always the service was through Ryan made the process enjoyable and cost competitive and the use of a Cayenne cannot be more appreciated. All of this done in the midst of a dealership remodel/construction!If only my Porsche's weren't so bulletproof I'd be able to come back sooner! :).

By far the better dealer

We went to three dealerships, one in Cbad, one in Rside and Porsche of San Diego. The difference was not even discribeable. The dealership in Riverside tries to rip off our trade, The Carlsbas place made us feel like we were in the Twilight Zone, and Porsche San Diego was almost unreal. The Porsche San Diego team made us feel like we were a King and Queen. Thank GOD we found this place, because I really wanted a Porsche, not a BMW. (The BMW people were even worse!). Great job to Glenn and his team. No wonder they are going through a HUGE remodel. These guys are gonna be huge!! Thanks PSD!!!

I had an unexpected issue with my boxster while traveling to SD. I called this dealership and spoke with Les. He told me to bring it in and they will check it out. This place is really nice. Even with all the construction going on. Everyone is friendly there. The coffee is really good. Les tells you up front what the problem is and repair cost. I live 3 1/2 hrs away. Les made arrangement for a rental car. He really took care of me. I felt very comfortable leaving my boxster there for a few days. Everyone there is so kind. This has been by far the best place i have visited. Customer service is great!

Not your typical stuffy high brow Porsche dealer

The whole team was so nice! I wasn't sure what I wanted, so they took a ton of time to help me. I never bought a Porsche before, and was a bit intimidated to go in, but that changed the second I went in. I called about a car in a color I had never seen before and that what prompted me yo go. They are not the closest dealer to my home, but they made it worth the trip. Driving my new 911, and I wish I had done this 5 years ago. They made the whole thing special. The owner even came over to me to wish me well! Now that's what I call a great dealer!

Went on Friday PM to have brake lights replaced on my Cayman S, without an appointment. Les in Service was most courteous and professional, and took care of me immediately. Offered snacks and drinks while I waited, and checked back with me every 10 minutes or so with a time update. These people treat you right! with this kind of service, i will continue to have my car serviced at Porsche of San Diego.

When your husband drops your motorcycle on your 2013 991

My husband was putting my motorcycle away in the garage next to my 2013 991S. He didn't want to wait for me to move my car & accidentally dropped the bike on the car. The handle of the bike nailed the left side signal light & put a hole in it. We were on our way to LA & I called our Service rep Ryan to let him know I was on my way to drop off the car to repair the signal light. Turns out it was a simple fix. Light pops out & can be replaced easily. Chase, also in service, helped me find the right light even suggesting replacing the amber for the clear (which looks way better) and changed the light for me as well as the amber light on the right side. The car had also suffered a small scratch under the light so Chase hunted all over for touch up paint then proceeded to fix the scratch. Best part of all, I wasn't prepared to have the car fixed in 20 min so Ryan offered to hold the car until my mom could pick it up the following day, allowing us to continue on our way out of town. My family has been a customer of Porsche since 1986. We've collectively purchased 6 vehicles from this dealership and its service like this that will always keep us coming back.

An excellent dealer experience overall with special attention for Justin Lopez in sales and Les Lisenbee in service. Both understand what is required to provide customer service and they deliver with great results. I've had my 911 in for scheduled service, warranty work and tire repair and Les is always supportive and accommodating. The car is always delivered as promised and the estimated expense for repairs is as represented. I rarely post reviews but I am very impressed with this dealership and its employees.

Just a great place!

I went to hone and they were not very friendly. Went there lookiing for a Cayenne for my wife and a Boxser for myself. The salesman at Hone was so intent on proving how much he knew of the Porsches he never answered our questions! We werent impressed by his knowlege. he actually chased us away, which stinks because we live closer to them. We found out about Porsche San Diego from a co worker at Qualcomm that had a similar experience.Long story made short, we went to Porsche of San Diego which turned out to be closer than we thought, met with a saleslady there that knew as much as the guy at Honeh, but answered actually answered all of our questions. It was great, we bought a Cayenne and will be ordering a 911 in August from her. I thought al Porsche dealers were owned by Porsche, but I was wrong. each one is owned by an independent owner. These people "get it". They understand, at least our salesperson did. She was great and we recommend Julie Aquino and Porsche of San Diego. we'll service there when the time comes.

San Diego Porsche - best Porsche Service in So. California

I can't say enough good things about the entire team at San Diego Porsche. I take both my 911s to them for service. They always do fantastic work and I trust them implicitly. In the past I had taken my 911s to other Porsche dealers for service and was disappointed by the quality of service and the poor customer service I received. I actually live near another Porsche dealer but I won't take my business there. Customer service is of huge importance especially when one spends substantial money on Porsches. I highly recommend San Diego Porsche. Ray Roper and Larry Suarez are true professionals and always ensure my cars receive world class service. It is what owning a Porsche should be about. They are what other Porsche service centers should aspire to. I am always treated like I am one of the family and that means a lot to me. The dealers I bought my 911s from never treated me as well as San Diego Porsche does. I won't take my German babies anywhere else! When I take my 911s in for service the staff talks to you and are genuinely friendly. I have got to know several of the staff there including Daniel Lewis from sales. Without doubt the entire team at San Diego Porsche is in a different league. I didn't buy my 911s from them but I can guarantee I will definitely buy my next 911 from Daniel at Porsche San Diego. If you have a Porsche and are looking for a place to have it serviced or thinking about buying one, I truly would not consider anyone else.

Great from start to finish

The closest dealer to our home had great ratings, so we went there. what a disappointment! I'll be driving from Riverside to San Diego to get my car serviced. The prices were exactly the same, but the difference was in the people. So much nicer in San Diego. We recommend it highly.

I am a new Porsche owner (2011 997.2) and needed some work done on my new acquisition. I initially chose Porsche of San Diego because they are closest dealer to my house. I am so glad I did..from the moment I walked in, Tommy Fong was professional, friendly, happy to work with me, knowledgeable, and truly make me feel like he wanted me to be there.I have owned other European cars for a long time (25 plus years) and while service has always been good, Tommy made this a great experience..he was friendly, yet professional at the same time. I feel he answered my questions honestly, and that is all I can ask for.I know Tommy has a large team behind himlike the service techs who did the work!but putting his face on the team is a good move by Porsche.Thank you,Dave Oeser

I shopped for a while before I bought my Cayenne. I went to another dealer in San Diego, who were "ok" but seemed more concerned about their time and themselves then about me. The salesman kept looking at his watch. I was introduced to his mgr, who seemed just as disinterested. He kept looking at his watch too! Porsche San Diego was so nice to deal with. Julie took her time with me, made me feel as though no one else mattered (her phone rang and she didn't even glance at it) I like that. The price was right in line, and everyone was very helpful. I highly recommend Julie and the Porsche of San Diego dealer. Lots of cars to choose from!

Great experience

I wouldn't go anywhere else! People that actually care. Porsche loaner cars, costs less than my corner garage, they stand behind their words.

Never felt more at ease spending over $100.000

I went in shaking, I came out with the biggest smile I've ever worn. This is the most expensive thing I've ever purchased. The people there were incredible. I didnt feel as if I were spnding, I feel as if I've made an investment. The sales team was amazing, they made it the experience I had always imagined and more. I cant believe I own a Porsche. If the ownership is as good as the people in that delaership I'm so excited I cant contain myself. I went Porsche of San Diego first, then shopped, but the other Porsche stores made me feel like I was just buying a car. This team made me feel so comfortable. I didnt realize it till I went other places. The selection was mammoth, they had everything I wanted to see. The pricing was pleasantly "in line" with places that claimed to be the "cheapest". Save your time, go to Miramar Rd. Tell them Stan sent you.

Amazing place to buy an amazing car

From my first email to delivery, Porsche San Diego exceeded my expectations. Was going between Porsche of San Diego and Hohen up in Carlsbad, but the end result is that I now have a new Porsche in my driveway with Porsche of San Diego on the license plate frame. The salesman kept telling me "we'll beat there prices, we'll beat there prices." which I suppose would mean something if price was all that mattered. Turns out their price was actually $26 per month higher!! And it seems,my neighbors feel the same way, the Porsche owners that live on either side of me also went to Hohen first and had the same reaction. Porsche of San Diego made the experience more valuable, I actually felt like i was getting what I paid for. I probably would've paid a few dollars more if I had to. The others guys were just selling "stuff". It was almost as though I could have been buying shoes. I met the owner while I was there, as well as the managment staff and even the technician that prepared my car for delivery. Very impressive. I'm so glad my plate frame says Porsche of San Diego.

In the "dark ages" when it comes female buyers

I visited this dealership several months ago looking to purchase "The New Carrera" after seeing the unveiling at the LA auto show. Of course, I would have expected to be greeted and offered a test drive. Instead, I was totally ignored. Why? Because I was a woman unaccompanied by a man? Though I am married, I am a professional woman who makes her own money (not to brag, but good money at that) and and own decisions about what car to buy. I am more than able to afford any car that I want. Infact, I wanted to buy my 911 as a second "victory" car for a recent accomplishment, but it won't be from these people!

First Class all the way

I recently purchase my 4th Porsche in over 30 years from this dealer. While others have said it please forgive me if I repeat the fact that since they have changed owners the buying experience is like night and day. I was undecided on exactly what I wanted and the salesmen that waited on me were patient and understanding, even encouraging questions. The place really feels like class. There is no pressure at all and it just feels comfortable to be there. Everyone I dealt with from the sales people (James and Justin)to the manager to the parts person to Angela in the finance department were really professional. They actually seem to like their jobs. The car I purchased wasn't totally ready when I arrived so they gave me a 911 Carrera to take home overnight, even the color I wanted. Now that is service. I have not had any experience with other dealers in the San Diego area so cannot comment on them. I can say I recommend this dealer highly.

Night and Day

I attempted to buy a car from Pioneer Porsche a few years back and was so dissapointed I didnt return. I found out theres a new owner and decided to give them a try. The difference was night and day. these guys "get it". Was a luxurious experience from the start. I felt as if I was in an upscale restaurant, not a car dealership. Although I never write on these review sites, I thought it might be a good idea when I noticed there weren't too may people that had experienced the NEW Porsche of San Diego. I live in Cardiff, closer to another dealer, but they didnt have what I wanted, and had no interest in getting it for me ( real hard sell type of place). Matt Bang went WAY out of his way to make sure I got exactly what I wanted at a price that was competitive. They also pick up and deliver my car when it needs service, That was all I needed. Try these guys, you'll see a big difference. JB

A waste of my time

I had a very bad experience. I purchased a car from this dealership seven years ago. At their request I brought my carin for trade in value. After spending two hours negotiating on the car I liked, I was told the car was no longer available. I was negotiating on a car that wasn't available for two hours.

I had to revisit the dealership for questions on the operation of the climate control, and Shawn Puno took the time to listen to, and answer my questions to my satisfaction. This dealership does a great job of doing the job.
